Perspicacious – of acute mental vision or discernment.
Synonyms:
shrewd, sagacious, perspicacious, astute mean acute in perception and sound in judgment.
shrewd stresses practical, hardheaded cleverness and judgment.
a shrewd judge of character
sagacious suggests wisdom, penetration, and farsightedness.
sagacious investors got in on the ground floor
perspicacious implies unusual power to see through and understand what is puzzling or hidden.
a perspicacious counselor saw through the child’s facade
astute, suggests shrewdness, perspicacity, and diplomatic skill.
an astute player of party politics

Moot is my favorite word.
Sounds like a cow with a speech impediment.

Got me to thinkin . . . lotsa words come to mind, such as chiasmus, or codswattle, or franistan. As I ran thru the list, tho, one popped up which brought back to mind a re-write of “Jabberwocky” I did some years ago:
‘Tis bullshit, that the Schiffty trolls
are geeks all farkling with the law:
all snockered are the legismoles
in coup d’etat “Hurraw!”
“Beware the Democrats, my bro!
The mics that bite, the lies that snare!
Beware the summons call, and blow
no whistle, neither swear.”
But roll subpoenas into balls
for jamming up committees’ rears.
Then haunt the ancient Congress halls
to give a strong Bronx cheer.
And as the credisrod is read,
call out the frammis avulence
to question franistan instead,
like vootie evidence.
“No Trump! No Trump!” and “Quid pro quo!”
the chairchumps spew their jealousy,
while Misdemeanor Gropey Joe
puts millions in his treasury.
“So . . . hast thou stopped the coup d’etat?
Come vote for us, not Lyin’ Liz!
or some new socialistic plot;”
the Donald knows his biz.”
‘Tis steer stool, and the slimy phlegms
do spazz and fregus in the well:
still butthurt are the flaky Dems
on course to legal Hell.
