Describe a positive thing of family member is done for you

Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.

This is counterintuitive, but a sibling leaving was the most positive thing for me. Growing up, I had a sister that fought with my parents and caused all kinds of consternation in the house.

Fortunately, she got married early and when she left the house got quieter and all of our lives got better.

  1. Well, for the first 20 years we were married, Milady did a really shitty job of keepin me out of bars, honky tonks, and trouble. Caused me to get knocked on my ass several times and damned near cash in once or twice.

For the last 40, however, she’s done very creditable and perspicacious work which has resulted in my not havin to be bailed out of hoosegaws, signed out of hospitals, or charged outrageous repair bills and punitive fees.

Best decision I ever made, hookin up with that one — good mother, good cook, and she refuses to piss away our savings . . . just leaves it in the CDs to draw interest. Wreaks havoc on the checking account from time to time, tho, but whose wife don’t??

    It don’t git a helluva lot better’n’at.

Also, none of our kids or grandkids are in jail, in deep debt, or dead. So I guess I’m a purty lucky dude.
