Crime Plunges In Washington DC After Trump Launches Historic Crackdown

It shows there was no leadership, DEI was exposed as a failure and that situations can be handled.

It’s hard to argue with the recent numbers.  Washington DC has long been a national embarrassment for the American public, consistently ranking high on the list of the most crime ridden cities in the US.  The city consistently ranks in the top 20 for overall crime, 13th out of 200 US cities with the highest property crime and it was ranked 4th in the US for homicide last year.

While Democrats claim that the mayhem has been in decline since 2023, they don’t mention the fact that there was a dramatic spike in assaults, robberies, rapes and murders that year.  Meaning, even with the drop, in 2025 DC still ranks among the worst cities in the US.  There are also suspicions of data rigging by DC officials.

Throttled prosecution numbers cloud the real picture of safety in the capital and one wonders if anything Democrats say can be trusted.  After all, these are the same people that tried to tell us there was no stagflation crisis.  These are the same people that tried to tell us there was no immigration crisis.  These are the same people that told us the BLM riots were “fiery but mostly peaceful”.

What A Leader Does – Trump to offer two million federal workers buyouts in accelerated government purge

Back when IBM was run by Lou Gerstner, I said I’d vote for him as president because he knew how to run things, hire and fire people, make decisions and not bend to be popular.

He put in the FAP (I know, funny right?) or Financial Assistance Program to offer buyouts to the deadweight at IBM so that it could be lean and mean, and survive.

Now this.

Up to two million federal workers will be offered buyouts if they don’t want to return to the office as part of Donald Trump’s government purge.

The Trump administration started sending emails to thousands of federal workers Tuesday evening offering them a chance to voluntarily vacate their government posts while remaining on the payroll for months.

The email was linked to President Donald Trump’s executive order demanding federal employees return to the office

An email landed in federal workers’ inboxes offering them a package and the ability to voluntarily separate from the federal government before the new Department of Government Efficiency starts identifying areas that could afford to be cut.

‘At this time, we cannot give you full assurance regarding the certainty of your position or agency, but should your position be eliminated you will be treated with dignity and will be afforded the protections in place for such positions,’ reads the email, titled ‘Fork in the Road.’

To take the deal, employees were told to type the word ‘resign’ into the subject line of their response.

The ‘majority of federal agencies are likely to be downsized through restructurings, realignments, and reductions in force,’ according to the email.

A spokesperson for the Office of Personnel Management said the employees who accept the terms were being offered the chance to go on administrative leave through Sept. 30 at full pay.

Report: Khamenei halts nuclear weapons program in olive branch to Trump

They’d never worry about doing this with Biden. He did whatever he was told to do, not Trump

Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reportedly has prohibited the development of nuclear weapons, in a move that some are perceiving as an attempt to initiate talks with the Trump administration about easing sanctions.

The head of Iran’s “Armed Forces Judiciary” made the announcement on Jan. 21, according to Iran International. That was just one day after Trump’s inauguration, but the possible olive branch does not necessarily mean nuclear activity will stop.

Newsweek reached out to the Iranian mission to the United Nations and the Trump transition team for comment via email outside of normal business hours.

Iran’s halting of its development of nuclear weapons indicates its economic issues as a result of Western sanctions have become a priority, and the regime may be willing to negotiate with the U.S. and other nations to help it recover financially.

The Democratic Party Conundrum, No Leader And No Direction

The Democratic Party is at a crossroads.

With each election cycle, the same old questions resurface: Who should lead the party? How can Democrats reconnect with voters in the heartland? And why does the party keep bleeding support among working-class Americans?

Last week, David Axelrod tossed a name into the ring for the next DNC chair: Rahm Emanuel. Predictably, this suggestion set off a firestorm—none louder than from Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose critique of the Democratic establishment feels more at home in a Tea Party playbook than in traditional Democratic discourse.

Ocasio-Cortez, better known as AOC, wasted no time attacking the idea of another Obama-era leader taking the reins of the Democratic National Committee.

Her argument? These establishment figures oversaw some of the party’s most devastating electoral losses. In fact, she called Emanuel and his ilk a “disease.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) launched a blistering critique of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel‘s potential bid for Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair, slamming the Democratic establishment’s donor-focused approach.

“There is a disease in Washington of Democrats who spend more time listening to the donor class than working people,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “If you want to know the seed of the party’s political crisis, that’s it.”

The sharp rebuke from the progressive congresswoman came after veteran Democratic strategist David Axelrod publicly pitched Emanuel, the current U.S. Ambassador to Japan, to lead the DNC when current chairman Jaime Harrison‘s term concludes in March.

And, honestly, she has a point. Under Barack Obama’s leadership, Democrats experienced some of their worst down-ballot performances in modern history. But is the party’s problem really the so-called Obama coalition, or is it AOC and her loud progressive faction that’s driving voters away?

The Ghosts of Obama’s Leadership

Let’s not sugarcoat it—Barack Obama was a political phenomenon. His 2008 and 2012 campaigns were masterclasses in coalition-building, bringing together young voters, minorities, and educated urbanites. But the success of Obama’s personal brand didn’t translate into lasting gains for the Democratic Party.

In fact, during his presidency, Democrats lost more than 900 state legislative seats, 13 governorships, 69 House seats, and 13 Senate seats. The working-class voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin who helped Obama win twice? Many of them jumped ship in 2016, frustrated by policies they felt prioritized elite academic interests over their needs.

Yet Democrats seem intent on avoiding this painful truth. Rather than reckoning with Obama’s shortcomings as a party leader, they continue to idolize his approach. The problem, though, is that the coalition he built wasn’t designed for longevity—it was built for Obama himself. His successors, from Hillary Clinton to Joe Biden, have struggled to revive that same magic, leaving the party floundering in its search for a winning strategy.

Trump Brave Enough To Go Back To Butler, Kamala Afraid To Appear On Non Liberal News

Weeks after the Secret Service failed to protect him and God turned his head so that only his ear got shot, Trump spoke to a massive crowd in Butler Pennsylvania.

Conversely, when offered the chance for an interview or debate on Fox, Kamala refused. Fox isn’t even really on the right anymore if you check their record or management.

What does that say about being a leader? What does it show about their character?

Trump was on the ground in the midst of Hurricane Helene’s recovery a week before FEMA moved in to interfere with the help and recovery going on. He personally donated $25 million to the disaster recovery.

Kamala went on a Porn podcast and was in California for a fundraiser.

It kind of speaks for itself.

I have a cousin who claims discernment, yet wouldn’t support Trump because of the hypergamy of some women who let themselves be available to him years ago. Kamala’s husband Emhoff screwed the housekeeper/nanny of his first wife and got her pregnant. He then hit an interim girlfriend so hard that he turned her around. He was a misogynist at his law firm yet my cousin thinks Trump is the problem. So much for discernment.

It shows that when we need a leader, not a politician for president, one will show up and the other will fake an accent to accommodate a media image. That is not a leader or one to be the head of the free world.

Germany – Should Have Never Let Them In The Country

North African Crime-Rate Explodes In Germany

The crime rate of North Africans is soaring higher in Germany, with Moroccans and Tunisians now responsible for one murder every six days on average. However, other serious crimes, including assault, stabbings, and rape, are exploding as well, with the German left-liberal government overseeing an incredible increase in crime while refusing to deport offenders.

Compared to 2019, murder cases involving Tunisians increased by 110 percent and 67 percent for Moroccans. Last year, a Tunisian or a Moroccan committed a murder every sixth day in Germany, according to data from the Federal Criminal Police Office.

When it comes to sexual crimes such as rape, this group of North Africans is even more overrepresented in the crime data. The number of serious sexual offense cases like rape jumped 169 percent for Tunisians between 2019 and 2023 while Moroccans saw an increase of 65 percent in the same period, according to a report from Bild newspaper.

For assaults and robbery, nationals from these two North African nations were responsible for a total of 6,746 crimes in 2023, which equals 19 cases a day. This group of foreigners also is notorious for attacking police officers, with the number of such cases doubling since 2019.

The number of theft cases involving Moroccan suspects rose from 2,900 in 2019 to 5,501 cases in 2023, and among Tunisians by as much as 176 percent to 3,881 cases in 2023.

The only real numbers that are seeing any drop are in terms of deportations. In 2019, 319 Tunisians and 696 Moroccans were deported to their home countries. In 2023, these numbers fell to 273 Tunisians and 272 Moroccans — despite soaring crime from these two groups and an increasing number of people from these two countries arriving in Germany.

Story

I knew when Merkel started importing these criminals that it wasn’t going to end well. They already were raping women in Sweden.

The lack of leadership on this is remarkable around the world unless you are trying to destroy your country.

Taxes And Absolute Amendments

I’ve seen it, but I hope others realize that the current administration seems striving for dictatorship within the WEF guidelines, or something. It has to be that bizarre for them to be trying to sell us the goods that have been around since Covid.

The crisis has been a moving target, from Ukraine to trans-everything, but it’s becoming clearer that the best interests of Americans aren’t DC’s priority.

I want to look on the bright side, that the country would wake up and come to our senses and put in leadership that will be positive and put us back on path to prosperity and economic freedom.

I’ve seen the meme everywhere, so credit to you all and whoever started it.

And now we will see who are the real leaders around the world. As always, some will be better than the others.  Some will be more decisive and others will reveal that they may not be leaders at all.  History will be the judge perhaps years from now.

When You Are A Lame Duck, You Are A Delusion of Adequacy

I originally named this blog Delusions of Adequacy after a political campaign that described themselves as not having delusions of grandeur.  I have decided (for now) to write about people, places and things that are delusional as a category.  I borrowed the idea from F1Rejects, although my writings will not be about rejects, just those who don’t realize that they fall short in others eyes.

So when do you have only delusions of adequacy?

LAME DUCKS

I read this story in the WSJ about those who were retiring/resigning and were they lame ducks.  Having witnessed it throughout my career in business and socially on a constant basis, I realized that the minute you have announced your intention to move on the perception of reality is that you are a lame duck.  Additionally, when you are not effective in others eyes, again you are a lame duck or just perhaps lame.

The article states:
despicable me photo: Despicable Me despicable-me-header.jpg

Steve Ballmer above.

Steve Ballmer tried hard to show he was no lame duck after announcing last summer that he would step down as Microsoft Corp.’s MSFT -0.59% chief executive within a year.

“If you are a lame duck, your company is not moving forward,” he said in a March 17 interview. “You don’t want to get into an inaction period.”

Amid a spate of executive departures announced many months in advance, top bosses at big companies are figuring out how to stay in charge during their long goodbyes. These lengthy lead times give boards extra time to find replacements, but they also create uncertainty within a company as workers wonder who is actually in charge and would-be successors publicly jockey for attention.

Regardless of what he says, people are sucking up to the new leader and don’t care nearly as much about Steve the minute he said he’s leaving.  Folks I know at Microsoft couldn’t wait for him to go, not to mention a good portion of the tech industry.

NOT EVEN THE PRESIDENT IS EXEMPT

Except for the liberal portion of the Democrat party, people are backing away from Obama. Those running for election, most notably Kay Hagen and Hillary Clinton who can’t get far enough away from him to get elected.

As far as getting any legislation he wants passed, the opposition controls only 1/2 of 1/3rd of the power yet he can’t get anything accomplished since his re-election.  Most presidents are lame ducks only after an election that he doesn’t win or can’t run for, but he was labeled a lame duck almost as soon as the 2012 election was complete.

Leaders around the world, most notably Iran President Rohani and Vladimir Putin aren’t showing any respect with nuclear proliferation and the Crimea respectively.  Even smaller countries like Belgium are making fun of him.  Putin has a 35 point advantage in approval and he is a criminal.

Remember the red line in Syria?  He refused to back it up.  Now leaders and terrorist factions know he is all talk.  That is an example of lame duck actions.  It also could be interpreted as all talk no action, but that is a road I don’t want to go down in this post.  Let the reader decide for themselves.

CONCLUSION

As stated by many, perception is reality.  When there is any doubt that you are a lame duck, you are.  It undermines your ability to lead and be respected.  Sometimes you announce that you are leaving, sometimes it happens because you are ineffective.  Either way, it is real.
