Unless the rapture happens before they can do it, I think we’ll be there. Man is an explorer and Musk has trillions so why not? I’ll never see it in my short lifetime

Long discussion, tho, which I won’t get into ‘cept to say that gravity on Mars is roughly a third of what it is on this rock. That would cause colonists to experience muscle atrophy and bone loss, much the same as do astronauts in orbit over time.
No idea what ensuing generations would morph into, but if either Luna or Mars is to be the jumping-off point to escape Earth’s destruction as Sol runs outta fuel and becomes a red giant, puny li’l hairless apes will become totally unsuitable for survival on exoplanets with anywhere near double or greater Earth’s gravity.
Medicine and technology DO have limits to what they can do with human physiology.
