My blog is about my personal opinions only and do not reflect or represent any company that I work for either past, present or future. I will not hesitate to use the benefit of my experiences in telling the story of what goes on in the real world. beep/bop/boop

One thought on “What’s the thing your were completely obsessed with as a kid?”
Nothin, really . . .
Did have a strong desire for a ’50 Merc, chopped and channeled with a big ol’ 350 and dual glass packs, pleated leather seats, that sorta thing.
Also went thru a period of intense anguish over a young black-haired Aphrodite named Debbie. Got over it, tho, with help from some lesser mortal chicks in the back seat of my 50 Chevy.
Really wanted a nice matched pair of Remington 12 and 20 gauge, and a nice .38. Had to satisfy myself with a cheap .22 single-shot rifle, a .22 nine-shot revolver my stepfather won in a poker game, and a 2nd-hand 16 gauge pump.
Lookin back on it all, I now realize my teenage years were tragically pizza deprived. Little town I grew up in had no pizzeria, and I didn’t even SEE a proper 12″ pepperoni & sausage until I was in college in ’58.
Oddly I never developed a taste for beer, only whiskey or rum with Coca Cola. And Marlboros . . . had to have those.
