The story is below, but they know they can (and may already have) compromise/buy the Democrats. They also know that liberals are pussies when it comes to standing up to dictators. Kamala has no idea what to do when a decision needs to be made at the foreign policy poker table of chicken.
With Trump, they are afraid of what he might do and is not predictable. He has a much stronger backbone to stand up to them. Since he is already rich, he can’t be bought like the rest of Washington. He’s already negotiated and won and they don’t want to have to have a tough fight again.
This is the real Russia collusion
Here’s the story:
Russia sees U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris as a more predictable opponent than Republican Donald Trump, though in any case there is no prospect of an improvement in relations with Washington, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
In an interview with Pavel Zarubin, a TV reporter with favored access to the Kremlin, Peskov also appeared dismissive of Trump’s boast that he could end the Ukraine war within 24 hours if U.S. voters returned him to the White House.
Before Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from November’s election and threw his support behind Harris, Russian President Vladimir Putin had said that Moscow preferred Biden over Trump, describing the former as an experienced “old school” type of politician.
With Biden out of the running, Zarubin asked Peskov, laughing: “Then who is our candidate now?”
Peskov, also laughing, replied: “We have no candidate. But, of course, the Democrats are more predictable. And what Putin said about Biden’s predictability applies to almost all Democrats, including Ms. Harris.”

Never changes. Countless wars have solved nothing. Tyrants reappear, taxes keep on climbing, leaders grow corrupt, what’s the point . . . .
The world was one big snafu as I started sucking air.
Japan had bullied China and the League just didn’t care.
Il Duce thought he’d resurrect the glory that was Rome,
And Nazis were goose-stepping in their master-race syndrome.
The US still was neutral, selling stuff to everyone;
Depression times were ending, unemployment on the run.
I figured I’d just let the big boys get it sorted out,
‘Cause I had things like kindergarten to worry about.
They all came home when Hitler put a bullet through his head
And Oppenheimer’s “project” filled Mt. Fuji’s mind with dread.
Then for a while things settled down with quiet peace and calm,
‘Til Stalin opened up a can of worms with his new A-Bomb.
But even then the 50s were good times to be alive
When rock & roll and live TV began to grow and thrive.
The girls would shake their oxfords in the latest trendy dance,
And you could tell them from the boys because of hair and pants.
By 1960 I knew that I knew enough to score,
But war was coming back and Army life was now in store.
So with my time in college safely tucked into my head,
I weighed my draft-age options and chose Navy life instead.
The schools were easy for me and I quickly learned my job
And realized I didn’t want to be just one more swab.
The guys giving me orders didn’t seem too smart to me,
So I devised a long-term career upgrade strategy.
Along the way I found the girl who starred in all my dreams,
A fiesty Asian handful who dovetailed with all my schemes.
I earned a golden chinstrap and a bunch of benefits,
Like good health care and income that was lifetime definite.
More than a dozen countries I was able to explore –
Spain and France and Italy, the Philippines, and more.
When time came to retire I used the G.I. Bill I’d earned,
To finish my degrees and share with students what I’d learned.
I told them about Shakespeare, Oedipus, and irony
While teaching them that clarity in writing is the key.
No fragments, comma splices, faulty parallels, and such,
Since readers read your words and not your mind so very much.
Our kids grew up and went away and reproduced themselves,
And we accumulated lots of junk to fill up all our shelves.
My teeth and hair and pecs and butt all went with gravity,
But when old age came calling for her, Reggie said, “Not me!”
I didn’t make much difference in the bigger scheme of things.
Just did my best with what I had and what good fortune brings.
I tried to help out where I could and do what’s fair and right.
And never hurt someone who wasn’t begging for a fight.
If there’s an afterlife in which someone will judge my acts,
I’ll stand before him straight and proud and rest my case on facts.
For many years I served my country conscientiously,
And paid my bills and cast my votes for priceless liberty.
The story of my life can pass no stringent “So-What?” test.
A simple country boy who simply gave each job his best.
So I will write no book or script to advertise my name,
Just fade away and let the younger lions play the game.
