What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
I’m retired. I was tired yesterday and I’ll be retired today. I have all the time in the world to sleep and now I can’t pull it off like the good old days
I go to bed when I’m tired. Sleep can be a battle anyway when you get older. I get as much as I can so getting a head start is not unknown to me.
As far as waking up? I don’t have a real choice in that matter either. If the sun is up, I’m hosed. I just have to hope I have enough by then. I’m glad I don’t live in Northern Europe where the sun is up by 4:30.
Then there is the fun game that seasoned citizens play called get up to pee. There is no telling how many times that will happen. That can throw a spanner in the works of trying to get back to sleep. An all nighter for me would be not having to piss, but I can’t remember that happening in a decade.
Delusions of Adequacy 
Lifetime habit of rising early, usually for work. Twenty-four years in the Navy made gettin outta the sack any later than 0600 a non thing.
Kept up the habit when I began teachin at the university . . . liked the 17-mile daily drive to my office at 0500 with absolutely NO traffic and NO problem findin a parkin spot. Got more done between 0600 and my first class at 0800 than most profs did all day. Nice to be done every day before 1400 and on the road back home before the afternoon traffic.
So . . . I’m nearly always asleep by 2100 and up by 0400 — with maybe two trips to the head, about 2130 and 0200 (prostate the size of a cantaloupe).
Now FULLY retired, the early rising habit is so deeply imprinted I couldn’t alter it if I wanted to. Do need a nap most days, tho . . . usually ‘round 1300 or so for ‘bout half an hour.
Fortunately, I’m wunnadose guys who need only 6 to 6 1/2 hours’ sleep at night. And at 83 I wake up every day alert, rested, and ready to go. Lucky, I guess. ‘Course it could be that Boone County, Indiana, country-boy early trainin.
