From what I’ve heard, it’s mostly the cheap crap after-market batteries that are at risk of flaming out. When sloppy techniques are used to manufacture Lithium-Ion batteries, undesirable metal fragments can short out internal cells — releasing energy as heat and then…WHOOOM!
No-one likes paying a manufacturer’s extortionate prices for PC or consumer electronics accessories, but when you buy cheaper, no-name alternatives on eBay — it’s caveat emptor! Low cost can mean low quality!
if heard that it only bursts into flames if has over heated-so it has to be on a long time
i’m glad that i got a computer instead of a laptop for my birthday last year
