Of Food Stamps and Tyranny

SNAP corrodes self-reliance, burdens taxpayers, and erodes civic character—Congress should use the shutdown to end the program and restore voluntary charity and consent of the governed.

The new/young/dissident right, whatever you want to call them, no longer even pretends to want to undo the state. To the contrary, they love its power, wealth, and honor. They want a share of the $10.5 trillion it collects in taxes every year. And why shouldn’t they? Their fathers have explained that the state is immortal and unbeatable. It can print, borrow, and tax money forever. The planners that guide our economy are invincible. The mechanism will never stop working.

The young have taken the faith of their fathers to heart.

They see clearly that the guiding mythologies of our regime are fake. Everything is inverted: our “laws” are really commands, our “freedom” is slavery, and our “justice” is injustice. “Principles” are just a magic spell you utter to get your opponents to do what you want.

The welfare, warfare, and surveillance state go together. Its supporters are all hypocrites. The architects of the Iraq War denounce Russia for aggression. The defenders of vaccine mandates insist on “bodily autonomy” for abortions. Supporters of the “rule of law” praise lockdowns.

The rank lying that characterizes the liberal world order will lead to its downfall. Down our present path lies political violence and terror as new factions awaken to the possibility of seizing the power of the state for themselves. The only way out is to raze the welfare-warfare state to the ground. We—a real We—must all choose peace. We must all lay down our arms; we must all renounce our claims to the property and liberty of others.

We must abolish the welfare-warfare state. We must reject its view of justice. We must start over. Eliminating SNAP is a good place to start. In the end, however, we must eliminate it all. We must refound our regime on the actual, literal consent of the governed.

We must rediscover what it means to be a citizen. We must stop lying.

There is no doubt that such a task will be difficult. But to give in to despair and resignation means paving the road to civil war. It means knowingly chartering our course into the abyss.

This is not the only option. We can, and should, choose otherwise.

Food Stamps To Be Paused For 42 Million Americans: What To Know…

There are some damning statistics below. Some people genuinely need help and will be in trouble. I hope that groups like Samaritan’s Purse will come to their rescue. They did so during Hurricane Helene when FJB refused to help Western Carolina, as it wasn’t his voting base. That was an evil move

Conversely, some grifters and illegals don’t deserve SNAP and will be either weeded out, sent home, or will learn to get a job. It might sound cold, but humans do better when they earn their way, rather than have it handed to them. When ‘Helping’ the Homeless Is Harmful

Look at who it is planning to loot; anyone could have guessed this one – BWBB

The Schumer shutdown is “mostly” over the left trying to give free stuff to the illegals. It is the same Santa Claus routine in trade for votes (the illegals are their future voter base). The shutdown could be over last week if he had agreed not to fund the illegals.

Here is a clip so that you can decide whether your hard-earned money should go to those who don’t need help, or are getting it illegally. YMMV.

Food stamps are set to be paused on Nov. 1 because of the government shutdown.

Some 42 million Americans will not receive benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) until Congress approves new funding, according to federal officials, although some states have taken steps to intervene.

Congress made money available for SNAP for October before failing to reach a new government funding agreement, which resulted in the government shutting down on Oct. 1, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said in a letter to regional and state SNAP officials.

There is not enough money to pay full SNAP benefits to the approximately 42 million SNAP recipients in November, the USDA says.

“Bottom line, the well has run dry,” the USDA said on Oct. 25.

“At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01.”

Since 2010, the total percentage of the US population that is on food stamps has not fallen below 12 percent.

Nationwide, the total percentage of the population receiving food stamps can vary significantly by state, and region. Measured state-by-state, we find that more than one in five residents of New Mexico receive food stamps. In Utah, on the other hand, fewer than one in twenty receive food stamps.

There are sizeable differences by race and ethnicity as well. Although they comprise 58 percent of the US population, non-Hispanic whites account for only 36.5 percent of all SNAP recipients. Blacks comprise about 26 percent of SNAP recipients although blacks are only 12 percent of the US population. Asians comprise 3.3 percent of the food-stamp recipient population. Those who self-identify as Hispanic (of any race) comprise 16 percent of the recipient population. (Note: according to the Census Bureau data used here, “Hispanic” is classified as an ethnicity and not a race. Since fifty percent of Hispanics self-identify as “white,” self-identified whites actually comprise 71 percent of the population, not 58 percent. (Pew studies suggest that 58 percent of Hispanics self-identify as white.)

Immigration status can be a factor as well. According to the Census Bureau’s Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), more than a third of immigrant-headed households receive food stamps or some other form of food subsidy such as WIC. Nearly half of households headed by illegal-immigrants receive food stamps. (This data is from the 2022 SIPP report.) The percentage for native-born households, on the other hand, is 25 percent. (Note: This is a household number, so is not comparable to the total percentage of individuals in the US population who receive food stamps.)

The Dark Side Of Denmark’s Welfare State

But the longer I stayed, the more I started noticing cracks. They weren’t always visible at first—more like patterns in conversation, stories from international friends, or the quiet discomfort that settled in certain moments. Coming from the United States, where diversity and individualism are more overtly woven into everyday life, I couldn’t help but notice how the very system that offers so much comfort in Denmark comes with a cost.

The Ghetto Laws: Welfare-Driven Discrimination in Practice

In 2018, Denmark introduced the “Ghettoplanen” (Ghetto Laws), later rebranded as the Parallel Society Laws. These policies target neighborhoods where more than half the residents are of “non-Western” background—a term that includes people from countries outside the EU and North America, even if they were born in Denmark or are second- or third-generation citizens. Children whose grandparents immigrated from places like Turkey, Lebanon, or Somalia are still counted as “non-Western” under the law.

If a neighborhood meets enough criteria—low income, high unemployment, and a “non-Western” majority—it faces state intervention. This can include:

  • Mandatory preschool from age one for all children of “non-Western” descent to instill Danish values,
  • Harsher criminal penalties for offenses committed within these zones,
  • Demolition of public housing and forced relocation of residents to “de-concentrate” immigrant populations, and
  • Restrictions on who can move in, effectively capping the number of “non-Western” residents.

The government claims these measures promote integration, but they operate more like demographic engineering. The message is clear: too much cultural difference in one place is unacceptable.

To someone from the United States, this feels disturbingly familiar. The targeted housing policies, the coded language about “undesirable neighborhoods,” the use of state power to reshape communities—it all echoes redlining. The difference is that in Denmark, it isn’t a buried legacy. It’s law, in force today, designed to preserve cultural homogeneity. And while the justification is social cohesion, the result is a system that penalizes people for their ancestry.

When Difference Becomes a Liability

Welfare states like Denmark’s aren’t built on taxes alone—they rest on a shared cultural foundation. The social contract assumes a common understanding of how to live: shared values, similar behaviors, and a broadly uniform way of life. While that foundation can foster trust and cohesion, it also creates pressure to conform.

Visible difference—whether in language, religion, dress, or worldview—can unsettle that cohesion. And instead of adapting to diversity, Denmark often manages it through policies and social norms that nudge immigrants and their children toward assimilation. In practice, it’s not just an invitation to integrate—it’s a demand. The result is a system where those who don’t—or can’t—fully assimilate face quiet exclusion. A nail artist from Nepal told me she’s struggled to make Danish friends despite living here for years. Friends of mine who are South Asian or Middle Eastern are routinely denied entry to clubs under vague excuses like “it’s full,” while white Danes enter with ease.

These aren’t isolated experiences. According to the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, migrants in Denmark report higher levels of discrimination than the EU average. And despite topping global rankings in welfare provision and institutional trust, Denmark scores near the bottom when it comes to multicultural integration.

Much of this exclusion is hard to see. It’s not enforced through loud rhetoric or explicit laws, but through daily interactions, housing policy, and unspoken expectations. The discrimination is systemic, subtle, and often unacknowledged—and that silence makes it harder to confront. At the heart of this pressure to conform is Janteloven, a deeply rooted cultural code that discourages standing out or asserting individuality. While it promotes humility on the surface, it also reinforces social and cultural sameness. For many Danes, it creates cohesion; for outsiders, it can feel like an invisible wall. Combined with state policies that reward uniformity, Janteloven helps preserve a society that appears egalitarian but quietly resists pluralism.

America’s Bi-Partisan Suicide Pact – Government Dependancy

The greatest moral hazard in American life is politics.

Many of you probably remember 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney being secretly recorded by a Democratic operative telling donors that “47% of the people who will vote for the president no matter what” because they are “dependent upon government … believe that they are victims … believe the government has a responsibility to care for them … these are people who pay no income tax.”

Even I could have told you that accusing half the electorate of being a bunch of moochers was a bad idea. Coming from a fat cat like Romney, it reeked of snobbery.

Also, Romney happened to be correct.

And what he said then is even truer today. But in contemporary politics, asking citizens to pay for their own life is an act of self-immolation.

In a recent Gallup poll, an amazing 9 in 10 young women support socialized medicine, paired with higher taxes on the wealthy. What is the risk in backing pricey utopian experiments when there’s no bill coming in the mail? Now, if we flattened federal taxes and compelled everyone to pay their “fair share,” or even one-tenth of their share, for that matter, 9 in 10 young women would be hoisting Gadsden flags on their lawns and sticking “taxation is theft” bumper stickers on their cars.

That’s never going to happen, because the incentives of contemporary politics are dangerously distorted. The more the government spends, the less Americans expect to pay. The more dependency it creates, the less self-reliance it expects.

The Wall Street Journal recently reported on a new study that found a mind-boggling spike in government dependency. In 1970, safety-net funding accounted for the significant income in fewer than 1% of all counties in the country. By 2000, 10% of counties were getting a significant share of their income from federal and state safety-net and social programs. Today? More than half of all U.S. counties drew at least a quarter of their income from government aid.

While people on the Left like to grouse about “income inequality,” they never mention that every year, nearly $2 trillion, about the gross domestic product of a midsized European country, is transferred to low-income Americans through hundreds of programs, from Medicaid to food stamps to refundable tax credits. Right now, there are 42 million people on food stamps.

It would be one thing if the state were lifting citizens from poverty, but it is creating a permanent underclass.

Study Shows Immigrants Use More Welfare Than US Citizens

The largest invasion in human history is also the largest looting spree. Among the findings of a report based on data from the 2022 Survey of Income and Program Participation are these:

• The 2022 SIPP indicates that 54 percent of households headed by immigrants — naturalized citizens, legal residents, and illegal immigrants — used one or more major welfare program. This compares to 39 percent for U.S.-born households.

• The rate is 59 percent for non-citizen households (e.g. green card holders and illegal immigrants).

No evidence was found that this is due to fraud.

• Illegal immigrants can receive welfare on behalf of U.S.-born children, and illegal immigrant children can receive school lunch/breakfast and WIC directly. A number of states provide Medicaid to some illegal adults and children, and a few provide SNAP. Several million illegal immigrants also have work authorization (e.g. DACA, TPS, and some asylum applicants) allowing receipt of the EITC.

Even if they work, they still collect welfare, as they do even if they don’t have kids and even if they have education credentials:

• Immigrant households without children, as well as those with high incomes and those headed by immigrants with at least a bachelor’s degree, tend to be more likely to use welfare than their U.S.-born counterparts.

Sometimes Democrats/the media pretend that illegals are prevented from suckling at the teat of the Welfare State; however,

• Most new legal immigrants are barred from most programs, as are illegal immigrants, but this has a modest impact primarily because: 1) Immigrants can receive benefits on behalf of U.S.-born children; 2) the bar does not apply to all programs, nor does it apply to non-citizen children in some cases; 3) most legal immigrants have lived here long enough to qualify for welfare; 4) some states provide welfare to otherwise ineligible immigrants on their own; 5) by naturalizing, immigrants gain full welfare eligibility.

An obvious conclusion is drawn:

Given their welfare use rates, knowledge of government programs is clearly extensive in immigrant communities.

Welfare Explained By Booker T Washington

It’s the left, the squad, Soros, Schwab and their ilk who want people to be dependent. Look to the current leadership and ask if they are helping or hurting our country and it’s various people.

How Government Spending (Unaccountable and Unmonitored) Drove Up Inflation

The rest of the money was laundered to Hunter, Joe, Hillary, Nancy, Schumer, Obama, Congress and the other millionaires not suffering during inflation. The middle class got buggered. They are the 1% they want us to hate.

Look at Steven Miller 4 meme’s below for the bookend to this next one.

And Peppermint Patti Psaki was so proud of her lie last year.
Mauricio Godoy can understand this one.
And he does anything the opposite of what Trump did for our Nation for spite, and it turned to shit.
Except at election time when the politicians lie and promise free money, insurance, tuition, phones, mortgages…

It always ends with this when you listen to the current administration. It started with Wilson, FDR, BJ Clinton, both Bushes, Obama and Joe. If you think they have your interests in mind, you are sadly mistaken.

Red Pilling Socialism

Every election cycle, politicians become Santa Claus and promise free stuff. That is what caused the inflation we are in.

A lot of the truth is they never delivered on the promises, but kept the voting block on the plantation hoping for handouts. Covid let them get more free money than some could by going back to work.

The bill comes due. Those in DC, Davos and other nefarious places want a monarchy, a dictatorship, socialism where they decide how much you will be given by how well you obey.

Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela all went down the path the current administration is on, and is backed up by the squad, pocahontas, Bernie, California/Oregan/Washington…..need I go on?

Don’t put on the handcuffs of promises of free. Nothing is free.

Freedom is especially not free.

Don’t choose government handouts that will cost our country. It’s already taxed the middle class through inflation.

How The Income Inequality Jihad Will Likely Hurt the Poor

The brilliant John Hawkins presents the facts about this subject.  It is to be the 2014 top priority from our executive branch.  Readers should evaluate the facts and judge for yourself if this is good for the country or not.  Park your ideology at the door (regardless of its source) and think through the argument.  Your beliefs are yours, just make sure to check with history to see what information it supports

The truth is that income inequality is of minimal importance in a nation like America, where so many people already move between classes, where the poor are doing so much better than they used to, and where our poor already do so well compared to the rest of the world. “Among children from families in the bottom fifth of the income distribution, 84 percent of those who go on to get a college degree will escape the bottom fifth, and 19 percent will make it all the way to the top fifth.” During the Great Depression, more than 60% of Americans were living below the poverty line. Over the last 50 years, that number has generally ranged between 12%-15% — and even that dramatically overstates the number of poor Americans because it doesn’t take into account government assistance that’s being paid out. On top of all that, liberals get so angry when people point out that more than 80% of poor Americans have cell phones, televisions and refrigerators while “most Americans living below the official poverty line also own a motor vehicle and have more living space than the average European.” Yet, they don’t take into account the fact that almost half of the world’s population still lives on less than $2.50 a day. In other words, if you are poor, you can live better and have more opportunity to advance in America than you will anywhere else. That’s why immigrants all across the world still want to come to this country.

1) The higher the government mandated minimum wage/living wage, the more people it prices out of jobs: When you force businesses to pay people more than they can return in value with their work, companies tend to respond either by hiring better quality people, replacing the jobs with automation, moving the posts overseas or by looking for opportunities to get rid of the positions entirely. The higher the wages and benefits the government insists on, the more stagnant it makes the labor market for the people who need to build their skills the most. If your goal were to deliberately put as many young, unskilled single mothers out of work as possible, the best politically feasible way to do it would be to jack the minimum wage up into the stratosphere.

2) It emphasizes making people more comfortable, not helping them succeed: There is no shame in taking any honest job, but you’re not supposed to make a living pressing the button that drops the fries into the grease at McDonald’s. If you work long enough at an entry-level job to worry about raising the minimum wage, you’re failing your family, your society and yourself. Instead of encouraging minimum skill workers to demand that the government force businesses to give them more money than they’re currently worth, we should be encouraging people to build their skills and move up, move on or start their own business. Want poor people to be eligible for more education or training? Want to give them micro-loans? Want to make it easier for them to create small businesses? Those are policies that make poor Americans more valuable. That’s good for them and the country. On the other hand, trying to redistribute income ultimately brings everyone down, especially the poor Americans who lose their drive after becoming dependent on it.

3) The more government becomes involved, the more it stagnates the economy: As John F. Kennedy said, “A rising tide lifts all boats.” The stronger the economy is, the more jobs it creates and the more everyone — poor, middle-class, or rich — benefits. How do you make the economy stronger? You keep the government small, taxes low, and regulations light. That’s a proven formula that has worked time and time again. On the other hand, if you want to constipate the economy, you make the government bigger, increase taxes and pour on the regulations. How did that latter set of “solutions” work out for Detroit?

4) The more the government focuses on income inequality, the harder it is to get ahead: As Thomas Sowell likes to say, “There are no solutions; there are only trade-offs.” You can see this very clearly with Obamacare, where a few people are getting subsidized care, while tens of millions more are losing their health care and paying considerably more to make up for it. It works the same way with income inequality. Want to make Wal-Mart pay all its employees twice as much? Then that means all the poor Americans who shop at Wal-Mart will have to spend more of their limited incomes to pay for it. Want to give more tax dollars to the poor? Then the rich and middle class will have to pay more in taxes. So, the moment that poor American is making enough money to get into the middle class, he’s hit with a bigger tax bill that makes it harder for him to ever get ahead. In other words, the more resources we put into “helping” the poor, the harder we ultimately make it for those very same people to ever permanently escape poverty and live the American Dream.

5) It ignores the real causes of poverty: The real causes of lasting poverty in America are not greed, the rich, racism, America being “unfair,” or any of the other excuses that you hear so often. Instead, the harsh truth that so many people don’t want to hear is that if you stay poor in America, it’s usually because you made bad life choices. Via Walter Williams, here’s what you have to do in order to avoid poverty in America.

“Complete high school; get a job, any kind of a job; get married before having children; and be a law-abiding citizen. Among both black and white Americans so described, the poverty rate is in the single digits.”

Instead of lying to destitute Americans and telling them that the rich became wealthy by stealing the money that the poor never had in the first place, why not tell people the truth? Yes, it might make some poor Americans feel bad, but do you think welfare, food stamps, and living in a housing project do wonders for people’s moods?
