It’s tempting when writing about Anthony Fauci to chronicle all of his diabolism. From his deadly failures managing the AIDS crisis to unnecessarily cruel experiments on puppies; from flip-flopping on virtually every topic related to Covid to denying the efficacy of ivermectin; from his god complex and churlish declaration that “I represent science” to working with companies like Moderna to develop Covid “vaccines” years before the virus popped up…in a “wet market.”
And then there’s his resting smug face.
It’s not merely tiring, it’s exhausting. Which is why The Manhattan, and by extension, CDMedia, love us some L, aka Lauren, aka @SomeBitchIIKnow. L is the host of Big Dig Energy, a podcast that takes deep dives into the vilest rabbit holes of our time.
L’s knowledge of Fauci is encyclopedic, and don’t get her started on “Dr.” Peter Daszak. So it was no surprise that she drew attention to the tweet below. Two days ago, Fauci was the keynote speaker at one of Columbia University’s medical colleges. Odd choice for an institution already tarred with controversy. Even worse in retrospect, considering that Fauci (through the NIH) finally admitted that taxpayers funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan…one day later. After denying it for years.
Funny how these conspiracies keep coming true.

2024 And They Still Discriminate Against The Un-Jabbed
North Carolina is trying to pass a law not to refuse life saving treatments because they haven’t taken the Covid-19 jab. A little late for this, don’t you think? I would expect this out of California, Oregon or the North East, but in flyover country?
Under the legislation, which is officially known as HB 586 in the House and SB 644 in the Senate, hospitals and transplant centers in North Carolina would be barred from denying life-saving transplants to patients based on their COVID “vaccination” status.
The bill is named for an unjabbed teenage girl named Yulia, who was adopted from Ukraine as an orphan by a U.S. Army family. Amid the COVID “pandemic” and the push for mRNA jab mandates, Yulia suffered kidney failure due to a genetic condition and was in life-or-death need of a kidney transplant.
She spent well over a year on dialysis, fighting for her life, but still, she was denied medical treatment by North Carolina’s Duke University Hospital, because she had not been “vaccinated” against COVID, even though taking the “vaccine,” which ranks as the deadliest in human history, could have put her life at an even greater risk.
Duke’s refusal to operate on Yulia nearly killed her, and it forced her family to absorb the massive medical and travel costs associated with seeking treatment elsewhere.

How did this happen?
Medicines for hemophiliacs, including one called Factor VIII, were imported from the US in the 1970s and 1980s [emphasis added] and prescribed by the NHS. However, the treatments were made from blood plasma donations which often came from groups at high risk for HIV and hepatitis C such as gay men, sex workers and prisoners and were often contaminated.

Twelve Reasons Why I Don’t Believe There’s a Climate Emergency
- Looking back through history, there have always been doomsday prophets, folk who say the world is coming to an end. Are modern-day activists not just the current version of this?
- I look at some of the facts – CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere; humans are responsible for just 3% of CO2; Britain is responsible for just 1% of the world’s CO2 output – and I think “really“? Will us de-carbonising really make a difference to the Earth’s climate?
- I have listened to some top scientists who say CO2 does not drive global warming; that CO2 in the atmosphere is a good or vital thing; that many other things, like the Sun and the clouds and the oceans, are more responsible for the Earth’s temperature.
- I note that most of the loudest climate activists are socialists and on the Left. Are they not just using this movement to push their dreams of a deindustrialised socialist utopia? And I also note the crossover between green activists and BLM ones, gender ones, pro-Hamas ones, none of whom I like or agree with.
- As an amateur psychologist, I know that humans are susceptible to manias. I also know that humans tend to focus on tiny slivers of time and on tiny slivers of geographical place when forming ideas and opinions. We are also extremely malleable and easily fooled, as was demonstrated in 2020 and 2021.
- I have looked into the implications of Net Zero. It is incredibly expensive. It will vastly reduce living standards and hinder economic growth. I don’t think that’s a good thing. I know that economic growth has led to higher living standards, which has made people both safer and more environmentally aware.
- Net Zero will also lead to significant diminishment of personal freedom, and it even threatens democracy, as people are told they must do certain things and they must not do other things, and they may even be restricted in speaking out on climate matters.
- What will be the worst things that will happen if the doomsayers are correct? A rise in temperature? Where? Siberia? Singapore? Stockholm? What is the ideal temperature? For how long? Will this utopia be forever maintained? I’m suspicious of utopias; the communists sought utopias.
- If one consequence of climate change is rising sea levels, would it not be better to spend money building more sea defences to protect our land? Like the Dutch did.
- It’s a narrative heavily pushed by the Guardian. I dislike the Guardian. I believe it’s been wrong on most issues through my life – socialism, immigration, race, the EU, gender, lockdowns and so on. Probably it’s wrong about climate issues too?
- I am suspicious of the amount of money that green activists and subsidised green industries make. And 40 years ago the greenies were saying the Earth was going to get too cold. Much of what they said would happen by now has not happened. Also, I trust ‘experts’ much less now, after they lied about the efficacy of lockdowns, masks and the ‘vaccines’.
- I like sunshine. I prefer being warm to being cold. It makes me feel better. It’s more fun. It saves on heating bills. It saves on clothes. It makes people happier. Far few people die of the heat than they do the cold.

What A Surprise, Anti-Israel Protests Are Overwhelmingly An Elite College Problem
Once again, the privileged and their urchins are thinking they rule the world. Someone needs to teach them about real life.
The anti-Israel, anti-American, anti-western, anti-capitalist, pro-Hamas, ‘by any means necessary’ campus protests and Tentifadas are not a working class movement.
But you knew that, because we have covered dozens of these protests and even casual observations reflect that, with some exceptions, this is a movement of elite kids at elite schools. Those casual observations are substantiated by a deep analysis by the lefty Washington Monthly (WM).
Nate Silver comments on the WM analysis:
“Of course the stereotype was that these protests were concentrated at expensive elite colleges but I didn’t realize the rather extreme extent to which that’s actually true.”

We at the Washington Monthly tried to get to the bottom of this question: Have pro-Palestinian protests taken place disproportionately at elite colleges, where few students come from lower-income families?
The answer is a resounding yes.
Using data from Harvard’s Crowd Counting Consortium and news reports of encampments, we matched information on every institution of higher education that has had pro-Palestinian protest activity (starting when the war broke out in October until early May) to the colleges in our 2023 college rankings. Of the 1,421 public and private nonprofit colleges that we ranked, 318 have had protests and 123 have had encampments.
By matching that data to percentages of students at each campus who receive Pell Grants (which are awarded to students from moderate- and low-income families), we came to an unsurprising conclusion: Pro-Palestinian protests have been rare at colleges with high percentages of Pell students. Encampments at such colleges have been rarer still. A few outliers exist, such as Cal State Los Angeles, the City College of New York, and Rutgers University–Newark. But in the vast majority of cases, campuses that educate students mostly from working-class backgrounds have not had any protest activity. For example, at the 78 historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) on the Monthly’s list, 64 percent of the students, on average, receive Pell Grants. Yet according to our data, none of those institutions have had encampments and only nine have had protests, a significantly lower rate than non-HBCU schools.

Well, This Is Not Good – Hospitals Euthanized Patients to Boost ‘Covid Deaths,’ Whistleblowers Testify
Several whistleblowers have provided explosive testimony during an official inquiry, revealing that hospitals were euthanizing patients during the pandemic and blaming their deaths on Covid.
The patients were reportedly given a lethal drug combination before their deaths were listed under “COVID-19” in an apparent effort to boost the number of fatalities from the virus.
The bombshell testimonies were provided during the ongoing Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry.
The independent inquiry has now been ongoing for almost two months.
The panel is investigating failures in Scotland’s response to the pandemic.
The witnesses specifically testified that elderly patients were being unnecessarily administered end-of-life protocols.
Those who tested positive for the virus were given deadly doses of drugs such as midazolam and morphine, even if their Covid symptoms were only mild.
However, when the drugs killed them, the patients were listed as having died from Covid.
That’s how bad they wanted to push the narrative. Remember that next time when they say everyone has to do something.

Climate Lies: The myth of the “97% of Scientists Agree” It never happened
On May 16th, 2013, Barack Obama famously tweeted that “97% of Scientists agree: climate change is real, man-made and dangerous.” Every word of this tweet was a lie. The 97% Consensus figure came from a May 15th, 2013 study by John Cook – which Obama linked to in his tweet. If 97% of scientists really thought “climate change is real, man-made and dangerous” that would be quite troubling. But nowhere in the study was anything said about global warming being dangerous.
Additionally, while the 97% figure was widely quoted, the criteria by which Cook achieved his figure was totally lacking in scientific clarity – or honesty. To be counted as affirming the global warming consensus question, scientists only needed to agree that “carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and that human activities have warmed the planet to some unspecified extent”. That’s it. If, as a scientist, you agreed that human activity had some portion – any portion – of responsibility for global warming you were included in the 97% consensus. We’re shocked the figure wasn’t 100% based on the actual questions.
It figures Obama lied. If you like your policy, you can keep your policy. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

Adam Carolla is doing a victory lap, and it’s hard to blame him.
The “Mr. Birchum” star took to X Sunday to remind everyone what he said during the recent pandemic.
- Don’t believe Dr. Anthony Fauci
- Airline masking rules make no sense
- The virus overwhelmingly affects the old and immunocompromised
- The media wants to scare you
For that he was tarred and feathered in the public square. And, as we now know, he was right on all of the above.
Carolla shared a 2020 article from the liberal TheWrap.com that noted his unwillingness to “apologize” for sharing those views at the time.
The podcaster targeted Stern and Arnold Schwarzenegger for their extreme pandemic rhetoric.
The “Predator” star famously said, “screw your freedom” when it came to pandemic rules. He later apologized.
Stern became a recluse during the pandemic, refusing to leave his home and shunning his social life. He also blasted those who refused to take the vaccine, a medicinal treatment less effective than we were initially told.
He got COVID-19 anyway. He lived.

CDC Finally Coming Clean About Covid Jab Side Effects
Dr. Robert Redfield, former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said Thursday that many officials who tried to warn the public about potential problems with COVID-19 vaccines were pressured into silence and that it’s high time to admit that there were “significant” side effects that made people sick.
Dr. Redfield made the remarks in a May 16 interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation, during which he lamented the loss of public confidence in public health agencies because of a lack of transparency around the vaccines, which he said “saved a lot of lives” but also made some people “quite ill.”
“Those of us that tried to suggest there may be significant side effects from vaccines … we kind of got canceled because no one wanted to talk about the potential that there was a problem from the vaccines, because they were afraid that that would cause people not to want to get vaccinated,” Dr. Redfield said.
In his role as head of the CDC, Dr. Redfield was part of the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed, a project to surge COVID-19 vaccine development at a time during the pandemic when little was known about the virus and rapid vaccine rollout was widely seen as key to getting the outbreak under control and lockdowns lifted.
In September 2020, a few months before the first COVID-19 vaccines were given in the United States, Dr. Redfield testified before the Senate that COVID-19 represented the “most significant public health challenge to face our nation in more than a century,” and that the prevailing view among scientists at the time was that the overall case fatality rate of the disease was somewhere between 0.4 and 0.6 percent in the United States.

Former NIH Director Admits No Science Behind Social Distancing
Of Course there wasn’t. It was about pushing people to see how long they would act like sheep.
(Matthew Doarnberger, Headline USA) A transcript released last week by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic revealed that scientific evidence was not behind the 6 feet of “social distancing” guideline that was issued by the National Institutes of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Subcommittee chairman Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, released the transcript from the testimony of former NIH Director Francis Collins in which GOP lawmakers grilled him over whether there was a scientific basis to support the policy, which forced many businesses and other public facilities to make major accommodations in order to remain open.
Majority Counsel: “Do you recall science or evidence that supported the six-feet distance?”
Dr. Collins: “I do not.”
Majority Counsel: “Is that I do not recall or I do not see any evidence supporting six feet?”
Dr. Collins: “I did not see evidence, but I’m not sure I would have been shown evidence at that point.”
Majority Counsel: “Since then, it has been an awfully large topic. Have you seen any evidence since then supporting six feet?”
Dr. Collins: “No.”

Covid-19 – What The Doctors Wished You’d Known
Not a shred of scientific support for what happened.
This week, I want to highlight another amazing medical scholar: Dr. Martin (Marty) Makary, a British-American professor at John Hopkins School of Medicine, as well as a surgeon and award-winning author. His upcoming new book, “Blind Spots: When Medicine Gets It Wrong and What It Means for Our Health,” is a must-read for anyone looking to understand medical truth, biases and whitewashed scientific data.
One recent example of Dr. Makary’s whistleblowing was published in the New York Post, “The Real Data Behind the New COVID Vaccines the White House is Pushing.”
In it, professor Makary asks: “What if I told you one in 50 people who took a new medication had a ‘medically attended adverse event’ and the manufacturer refused to disclose what exactly the complication was – would you take it?
“And what if the theoretical benefit was only transient, lasting about three months, after which your susceptibility goes back to baseline?
“And what if we told you the Food and Drug Administration cleared it without any human-outcomes data and European regulators are not universally recommending it as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is?
“That’s what we know about the new COVID vaccine the Biden administration is firmly recommending for every American 6 months old and up.”
Dr. Makary goes on to say, “The push is so hard that former White House COVID coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha and CDC head Mandy Cohen are making unsupported claims the new vaccine reduces hospitalizations, long COVID and the likelihood you will spread COVID.”
But then Makary’s conclusion to those White House claims is the coup de grace: “None of those claims has a shred of scientific support. … The public has a right to know.”
After cheerleading for the jab, even the liberal New York Times had to confess in its investigation on COVID vaccine side effects: “Federal surveillance has found some side effects but may miss others,” and “Understanding the full range of side effects may take years.”
The Times confessed a few distressing side effects:
- blood-clotting problems associated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and a potential risk of stroke after mRNA immunizations;
- myocarditis is such a problem among young men that “More intensive analysis may indicate that in some groups, like young men, the benefit of Covid shots may no longer outweigh the risks.”
The Times expounded: “Federal health officials acknowledge four major side effects of Covid vaccines – not including the temporary injection site pain, fever and malaise that may accompany the shots.
“But in federal databases, thousands of Americans have reported that Covid vaccines caused ringing in the ears, dizziness, brain fog, sharp fluctuations in blood pressure and heart rate, new or relapsed autoimmune conditions, hives, vision problems, kidney disorders, tingling, numbness and a loss of motor skills.”

Lessons From Covid Totalitarianism

The COVID police state revealed Western governments’ zeal for totalitarianism. Forced masking, forced experimental injections, forced school and business closures, forced isolation, and forced compliance provided Western citizens an opportunity to see the tyrannical inclinations hiding just beneath the surface of their supposedly beneficent “democracies.”
None of it was pretty. Mass propaganda disguised as medical expertise (remember when Joe Biden and his CDC army of Goebbels clones demanded that we wear three or more masks outside?) and mass censorship of social media conversations (because, we were frequently told, disinformation kills!) proved that — when push comes to shove — Western governments will quickly dispense with protections for free speech. Wannabe dictators (intent on protecting “democracy” by being authoritarian) embraced their true “Do as we say!” dispositions and branded the public’s rights and liberties as “enemies of the State.”
It should also be noted that while many of governments’ most egregious abuses against citizens are now treated as if they never happened (e.g., it is all the rage these days for politicians and medical professionals to claim that nobody was ever forced to take the experimental clot shots), there are still ample reminders of the West’s foray into COVID totalitarianism. The world’s largest social media companies (which have all been exposed as surveillance systems and propaganda platforms that variously do the bidding of China, the European Union, or the United States) continue to censor scientific debate regarding the origin of the virus (shocker: it leaked — intentionally or not — from a Chinese lab conducting biological weapons research bankrolled, in part, by the U.S. government), the efficacy of the so-called “vaccines,” and growing evidence that these experimental injections cause a large number of harmful (if not outright deadly) side effects.

The Most Dangerous People in America: College Professors
American college campuses are permeated with corrupted professors who themselves corrupt students. Without a doubt, college professors are the most dangerous people in America.
They’re not dangerous because they challenge the status quo or encourage their students to think critically. On the contrary, they are dangerous because they encourage impressionable young college students to adhere to the doctrines of the professors they choose without giving them the chance to meaningfully challenge those doctrines.
During the recent pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas protests on elite college campuses, thousands of students put up tents on private property, commandeered university-owned buildings, defaced private property, and chanted disturbing, antisemitic rhetoric. But while we constantly talk about the actions of the students, we fail to recognize that these students aren’t alone but instead are educated and cheered on by their college professors.
At Columbia University, many of the university’s professors joined the protests, donning orange reflective vests and standing alongside students in protest of Israel and—apparently—in support of the students’ right to free speech. Of course, these professors, like their students, are not constitutional scholars, yet they teach their students that what they’re doing is protected.
The First Amendment does not protect the right to vandalize or trespass on private property, which is what these students were doing, or even make terroristic threats or aid a terrorist organization, which arguably many of these students did. The very idea that there were professors aiding the students in their illegal takeover of the university should sound alarm bells.
They are poisoning the mush heads they are teaching and getting them to believe in and act on wrong assumptions and positions.

The Insane Flip-Flops Over Vaccines, Masks And Ivermectin
This week AstraZeneca recalled its COVID-19 vaccine after admitting that it caused a ‘rare but serious’ clotting.
Then we find that former CNN host Chris Cuomo has been taking Ivermectin, after mocking people for taking ‘dewoming medication,’ leading one to wonder how many dead Americans were dissuaded from taking it during the pandemic.
And in the fullness of time, we’ve learned that vaccine maker Moderna employed a former FBI analyst to secretly police ‘vaccine misinformation,’ while the Biden White House directed virtually every social media platform to censor those questioning vaccinations. Hell, the NY Times suggested ZeroHedge was spreading misinformation for suggesting, in December of 2020, that vaccine cards would be used to track people and limit their freedom.
And now people like former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) are playing the whole thing off like he wasn’t a complete iron-fisted authoritarian during the pandemic – suggesting that masks were optional.
Or Deborah Birx, who admitted she and Dr. Anthony Fauci pulled all sorts of pandemic-era lockdown protocols out of their asses, and has now remade herself into some sort of vaccine freedom advocate.

Cornell: Another Woke Leader Bites The Dust

“Martha Pollack was the architect of Cornell’s disastrous race-focused DEI initiative that balkanized the campus, and inevitably led to targeting of Jewish and pro-Israel students. While I wish her well in her personal life, it is time for the Cornell Trustees to turn the ship around, to eliminate DEI programming as is taking place elsewhere, and to refocus the campus on the inherent dignity of each individual without regard to group-identity.”
… The campus has become balkanized by an aggressive focus on racial, ethnic, religious, gender, and other identities through an “anti-racist” and “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” agenda imposed on the campus by the senior administration. The “anti-racism” initiative was launched in the summer of 2020, and has included or is moving towards mandatory training, education, and programming that forces everyone to view their lives and relationships through their identities.
Almost everything now is viewed through an identity lens, pitting groups against each other, pitting colleagues against one another, and pitting students against their peers. There is substantial evidence that such DEI programming makes race and other relations worse, not better. We are seeing that play out in real time in the Cornell community.
This has led to an unhealthy environment at Cornell in which multiple surveys show that high percentages of students are afraid to express their viewpoints. DEI as practiced at Cornell is damaging to freedom of expression, and makes the current year of free expression theme on campus inconsequential, if not nearly satirical.
FAFO again, woke and DEI ruin everything it touches.

Hunger Strike At Princeton? Let ’em Starve
They won’t last more than a couple of days. They don’t know what it’s like to really go without comfort and convenience and I doubt they believe in the cause that much anyway. It’s just posing for Social Media.
Student protesters at Princeton University who have embarked upon a hunger strike for Palestine are angry that the school is not obeying their demands that the school is not monitoring their health, and even claim that the school is forcing them to do this.
In short, it’s a total clown show.

Seventeen Princeton students began a hunger strike last Friday until the university agreed to meet with them to discuss divestment from Israel and the dropping of charges against students who had occupied a campus building.
According to The Daily Princetonian, student Sameer Riaz said he believed he and his comrades “were forced into” their hunger strike by school officials.
Areeq Hasan, another hunger striker, said all those participating are “very well-supported” — unlike “political prisoners who are in Palestine.”

Bird Flu? Not After The Rogering We Got On Covid-19
A shadowy virus is spreading with unknown frequency and risk to humans. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention wants to distribute rapid tests nationwide so consumers can see if they are infected.
It’s not 2020, but the deep distrust engendered by federal public health agencies’ sometimes botched and seesawing response to SARS-CoV-2 is hanging over their response to H5N1, more commonly known as bird flu.
Dairy farms are resisting cooperation with the CDC to track and contain the spread of the flu in their cows, and state and local leaders are chafing at what they perceive as public health agencies marginalizing the Agriculture Department’s experts, Politico reported early Monday.

Screwed The Middle Class And Those Trying To Afford A Home
Home prices across the nation are back up near a record high. That makes this a particularly bad time for the Biden administration to have rolled out its new “green” energy mandates, which will add $31,000 to the cost of a new home.
The mandates are being pushed through the Department of Housing and Urban Development and while they technically won’t apply to all homes, all homebuilders will effectively be forced to comply with them.
The Biden administration doesn’t deny this higher upfront cost. It simply claims it’ll pay for itself via lower energy bills. Unfortunately, the break-even point is 90 years.
So if a young couple buys one of these new green energy homes and has a child one year later, the regulatory costs still won’t have paid for themselves in that child’s lifetime, let alone the life of the couple who bought the home.
HUD argues that homebuilders will be able to get tax credits via the Inflation Reduction Act to offset some of these costs, with those savings hopefully passed along to homebuyers. However, this is not a real reduction in costs; it’s merely passing the buck to taxpayers. Instead of a homebuyer’s bearing the full freight of these green energy mandates, some of the cost will be passed on to taxpayers, including renters.
This is just the latest example of how failed public policies are creating a two-tiered society in America, where an entire generation of Americans will likely never be able to afford their own homes.

Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread
We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations.
In order to investigate if chloroquine might prevent SARS-CoV infection, permissive Vero E6 cells were pretreated with various concentrations of chloroquine (0.1–10 μM) for 20–24 h prior to virus infection. Cells were then infected with SARS-CoV, and virus antigens were visualized by indirect immunofluorescence as described in Materials and Methods. Microscopic examination (Fig. 1A) of the control cells (untreated, infected) revealed extensive SARS-CoV-specific immunostaining of the monolayer. A dose-dependant decrease in virus antigen-positive cells was observed starting at 0.1 μM chloroquine, and concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection. For quantitative purposes, we counted the number of cells stained positive from three random locations on a slide. The average number of positively stained control cells was scored as 100% and was compared with the number of positive cells observed under various chloroquine concentrations (Fig. 1B). Pretreatment with 0.1, 1, and 10 μM chloroquine reduced infectivity by 28%, 53%, and 100%, respectively. Reproducible results were obtained from three independent experiments. These data demonstrated that pretreatment of Vero E6 cells with chloroquine rendered these cells refractory to SARS-CoV infection.
The infectivity of coronaviruses other than SARS-CoV are also affected by chloroquine, as exemplified by the human CoV-229E. The inhibitory effects observed on SARS-CoV infectivity and cell spread occurred in the presence of 1–10 μM chloroquine, which are plasma concentrations achievable during the prophylaxis and treatment of malaria (varying from 1.6–12.5 μM) [26] and hence are well tolerated by patients.
Conclusion
Chloroquine, a relatively safe, effective and cheap drug used for treating many human diseases including malaria, amoebiosis and human immunodeficiency virus is effective in inhibiting the infection and spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. The fact that the drug has significant inhibitory antiviral effect when the susceptible cells were treated either prior to or after infection suggests a possible prophylactic and therapeutic use.Study published 22 August 2005 in Virology Journal

This all raises a final question: How could this group of elite scientists have gotten this paramount question so horribly wrong?
The inevitable answer is: They didn’t. They weren’t wrong. They were lying.
Four years after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Chinese city of Wuhan, what do we know about the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 virus?
We were presented at the outset with two competing theories: natural-origin spillover from animals to humans and accidental lab leak. And at the outset, a cadre of elite scientists passionately argued that the evidence overwhelmingly favored a natural origin. With comparable fervor, they dismissed the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 leaked from a lab as a “conspiracy theory.”
With a few notable exceptions, mainstream media outlets and the larger scientific community vehemently nodded in agreement. NPR said the lab-leak theory was “debunked”; Vanity Fair called it a “right-wing coronavirus conspiracy”; and Facebook banned posts suggesting the virus may have been manufactured in a lab.
Four years later, that narrative has begun to crack—and rightly so.
It was always a lie—one of the most consequential lies of the 21st century. Like all great lies, it perfectly inverted the truth: The evidence supporting natural spillover has always been thin. Conversely, the evidence pointing to a lab leak has always been compelling and has grown substantially more persuasive with time.

‘That’s a scandal’: CDC knew COVID shots caused deaths, but lied with public denials
A new report from the Epoch Times reveals its investigation shows that the CDC knew of the links between the COVID shots and death – and lied about them.
The report explains officials at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “found evidence that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines caused multiple deaths before claiming that there was no evidence linking the vaccines to any deaths.”
It was CDC employees who tracked down reports of deaths post-vaccination “and learned that myocarditis—or heart inflammation, a confirmed side effect of the vaccines—was listed on death certificates and in autopsies for some of the deaths.”
That is confirmed, the report said, in an internal file the publication obtained.
The Times explained “Myocarditis was also described as being caused by vaccination in a subset of the deaths. In other cases, the CDC workers found that deaths met the agency’s definition for myocarditis, that the patients started showing symptoms within 42 days of a vaccine dose, and that the deceased displayed no virus-related symptoms. Officials say that after 42 days, a possible link between the vaccine and symptoms becomes tenuous, and they list post-vaccination deaths as unrelated if they can find any possible alternative causes.”

The Associated Press admitted on Wednesday that more than half of the country does not trust mainstream news outlets when it comes to reporting on the 2024 presidential election.
A new poll revealed that 53% of respondents are “extremely” or “very concerned” that news organizations will report inaccuracies or misinformation during the election, according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll.
Nearly half of the respondents (47%) also revealed they are “extremely or very concerned” that the news outlets will not verify or fact-check information before they publish it, and 44% are concerned that the news will be presented in a biased way.
“The level of engagement is good,” Michael Bolden, CEO of the American Press Institute which helped with the poll, told the AP. “The thing that’s most concerning is that they’re not sure that they can actually trust the information.”

Climate Change, The Data They Used Was Fake
Even before our first surface stations report in 2009, The Heartland Institute led the way in reporting on problems with the surface temperature record.
We have highlighted how the surface station record did not correspond to the temperatures recorded by global satellites and weather balloons, two alternative temperature data sources whose data sets closely track each other. Heartland has repeatedly exposed instances in both the United States and abroad where official agencies tamper with past temperature data at pristine stations, adjusting it to appear cooler than what was actually recorded, while adjusting recent temperatures upward. We were all over the adjustments made by corrupt NOAA scientists in 2015 before the Paris climate treaty negotiations—mixing data from unbiased ocean buoys with heat-biased temperature measurements taken from ships’ engine water intake inlets, which made it appear the ocean was suddenly warming faster than before.
Also, first, foremost, and most forcefully, we independently documented the serious problems with the official surface temperature record arising from the fact that the vast majority of temperature stations are poorly sited. Stations fail NOAA’s own standards for quality, unbiased stations in reporting temperatures skewed by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect.
My colleague, award-winning meteorologist Anthony Watts, in 2009, and then again, as a follow-up, in 2022, detailed with station location data and photographic evidence the problematic surfaces stations. Stations providing official data that were sited in locations where surrounding surfaces, structures, and equipment radiated stored heat or emitted heat directly biasing or driving the recorded temperatures higher than were recorded at stations in the same region, uncompromised by the well-known UHI (that is widely ignored by alarmists and official government agencies).
Of the sampling of hundreds of stations across the country Watts and his volunteer team documented in 2009, Watts wrote:
We found stations located next to the exhaust fans of air conditioning units, surrounded by asphalt parking lots and roads, on blistering-hot rooftops, and near sidewalks and buildings that absorb and radiate heat. We found 68 stations located at wastewater treatment plants, where the process of waste digestion causes temperatures to be higher than in surrounding areas.
In fact, we found that 89 percent of the stations—nearly 9 of every 10—fail to meet the National Weather Service’s own siting requirements …

Yuan writes for The Crimson Editorial Board that the “science” is “less conclusive” that “transgender women hold a biological edge over their cisgender opponents.”
The science-free citation of using the political term “cisgender” aside, Yuan goes on to insist that “science” proves that men who take female hormones to “transition” lose their male strength.
If they can’t figure out that men and women are different, you shouldn’t trust them to educated your kids. Woke on top of the plagiarism and Anti-Semitism makes this school poisonous.

Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly came in hot Tuesday after former CNN pundit Jeffrey Toobin attacked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Toobin, also a former staff writer for the New Yorker, was axed after exposing his penis on a Zoom call with staffers from the New Yorker and WNYC radio in Oct. 2020. Kelly hit back at the “disgraced” ex-pundit over his criticism of Thomas on social media.
“In oral argument today, Justice Thomas is minimizing the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capital,” Toobin wrote on Twitter. “Perhaps that’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a disgrace that he’s sitting on this case.”
“Hi Toobin – fyi you waived your right to use the term ‘disgraced’ about other lawyers when you took your dick out of your pants and jerked off in front of your colleagues,” Kelly replied.

Moreover, ivermectin is anti-inflammatory and organ-protective, which can potentially protect against severe COVID-related lung damage and acute respiratory distress syndrome, heart-related complications, and blood clots.
Ivermectin exceeds the approved antiviral effects of other medications, including Paxlovid, molnupiravir and remdesivir, which only target the virus and lack anti-inflammatory and organ-protective effects. Monoclonal antibodies have to be constructed specific to each variant and are very expensive.

US Taxpayers Paid 3.3 Million To China To Develop Covid – Fauci Emails Surface
More questions are being raised about Dr Anthony Fauci‘s ties to the Covid lab leak theory after the release of a tranche of new emails.
The former White House advisor, 83, was hit with a series of new allegations this week including that he secretly conspired with the CIA to squash debate about the origins of the virus.
Leaked documents also showed that Dr Fauci’s top aide intentionally tried to hide his discussions about the virus’s genesis by using his personal email.
And now new messages show Dr Fauci was engaged in some form of ‘damage control’ at the time his department was being probed about funding to the Chinese laboratory feared to have started the pandemic.
The April 2020 email, sent between Dr Fauci’s aide and a third-party group who distributed government grants to China, suggests they were concerned about backlash coming from the probe.
EcoHealth Alliance, headed by Dr Peter Daszak, helped fund research at the Wuhan lab using grants from Dr Fauci’s department, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).
The lab had enjoyed part of a $3.3 million in US taxpayer funds since 2014 to conduct experiments on bat coronaviruses.
At the end of 2019, the virus that would eventually spark a global pandemic emerged in Wuhan with early cases linked to a seafood market just eight miles away from the lab.
In April 2020, when 787,000 Americans had gotten sick and 42,000 had died of Covid, EcoHealth hit a regulatory snag.

CDC Admits Covid And Jab Failures, It Was Only A Cold/Flu
What the CDC recently reported (see chart below), however, is that by the end of 2023, cumulatively, at least 87% of Americans had anti-nucleocapsid antibodies to and thus had been infected with SARS-CoV-2, this in spite of the mammoth, protracted and booster-repeated vaccination campaign that led to about 90% of Americans taking the shots. My argument is that by making policies based on number of infections a higher priority than ones based on the more serious but less common consequences of both infections and policy damages, the proclaimed goal of the vaccine mandate to reduce spread failed in that 87% of Americans eventually became infected anyway.
In so many words—and data—CDC has quietly admitted that all of the indignities of the Covid-19 pandemic management have failed: the masks, the distancing, the lockdowns, the closures, and especially the vaccines; all of it failed to control the pandemic.
It’s not like we didn’t know that all this was going to fail, because we said so as events unfolded early on in 2020, that the public health management of this respiratory virus was almost completely opposite to principles that had been well established through the influenza period, in 2006. The spread of a new virus with replication factor R0 of about 3, with more than one million cases across the country by April 2020, with no potentially virus-sterilizing vaccine in sight for at least several months, almost certainly made this infection eventually endemic and universal.
Covid-19 starts as an annoying, intense, uncomfortable flu-like illness, and for most people, ends uneventfully 2-3 weeks later. Thus, management of the Covid-19 pandemic should not have relied upon counts of cases or infections, but on numbers of deaths, numbers of people hospitalized or with serious long-term outcomes of the infection, and of serious health, economic, and psychological damages caused by the actions and policies made in response to the pandemic, in that order of decreasing priorities.
Even though numbers of Covid cases correlate with these severe manifestations, that is not a justification for case numbers to be used as the actionable measure, because Covid-19 infection mortality is estimated to range below 0.1% in the mean across all ages, and post-infection immunity provides a public good in protecting people from severe reinfection outcomes for the great majority who do not get serious “long-Covid” on first infection.

Your Friday Harvard Fail, Plus Trouble At The Fed
Another day, another diversity hire fail, another Harvard Plagiarism story, another Democrat ruining our lives story. This is a person who is supposed to help with inflation, the money supply and our price of gas and groceries. We’re fucked.

Lisa D. Cook is one of the world’s most powerful economists. She taught economics at Harvard University and Michigan State University and served on the Obama administration’s Council of Economic Advisers before being appointed, in 2022, to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, which controls the interest rates and money supply of the United States.
Despite her pedigree, questions have long persisted about her academic record. Her publication history is remarkably thin for a tenured professor, and her published work largely focuses on race activism rather than on rigorous, quantitative economics. Her nomination to the Fed required Vice President Kamala Harris to cast a tie-breaking vote; by contrast, her predecessor in the seat, Janet Yellen, now Treasury secretary, was confirmed unanimously.
The quality of her scholarship has also received criticism. Her most heralded work, 2014’s “Violence and Economic Activity: Evidence from African American Patents, 1870 to 1940,” examined the number of patents by black inventors in the past, concluding that the number plummeted in 1900 because of lynchings and discrimination. Other researchers soon discovered that the reason for the sudden drop in 1900 was that one of the databases Cook relied on stopped collecting data in that year. The true number of black patents, one subsequent study found, might be as much as 70 times greater than Cook’s figure, effectively debunking the study’s premise.
Cook also seems to have consistently inflated her own credentials. In 2022, investigative journalist Christopher Brunet pointed out that, despite billing herself as a macroeconomist, Cook had never published a peer-reviewed macroeconomics article and had misrepresented her publication history in her CV, claiming that she had published an article in the journal American Economic Review. In truth, the article was published in American Economic Review Papers and Proceedings, a less prestigious, non-peer-reviewed magazine.

Top International Virologist Issues Dire Warning: “Massive, Massive Tsunami of Death Among Highly Vaccinated…is Imminent”
A world-leading virologist has issued a shocking warning to the American public that a “massive tsunami” of death will soon destroy the global COVID-19 vaccinated population.
As Slay News reported, the bone-chilling warning was issued by Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, a respected Belgian virologist, during an appearance on the KunstlerCast podcast, which is hosted by James Kunstler, on Friday.
Dr. Bossche is certified in both Virology and Microbiology and is the inventor of a patent application for universal vaccines. He has also authored over 30 publications and currently works as an independent research consultant.
Dr. Bossche, however, is most famous for warning about the potential dangers of mass vaccination programs amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He warned that the programs could lead to “monster” COVID variants.
The virologist told Kunstler that shortly, a “massive tsunami” of death among the vaccinated would happen. This would start with far more cases of long COVID, which would replace the surge of cancers, and end with a “hyper-acute wave.”
“What I am predicting is a massive, massive tsunami of illness and death among highly vaccinated populations with compromised immune systems, Bossche said. “You will see what will happen, for example, in the next coming week is more and more cases of more serious long Covid.”
“They will start to replace the surge of the cancers,” he continued. “It will end with a hyper-acute phase, a huge, huge wave.”

27% of Saudis in ‘Bombshell’ Study Experienced Heart Issues After mRNA COVID Shots
More than a quarter of participants in a study from Saudi Arabia reported cardiac complications after receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, and many of them required hospitalization or intensive care.
The study, led by microbiologist and immunologist Muazzam M. Sheriff and colleagues at Ibn Sina National College for Medical Studies and King Faisal General Hospital, revealed that 27.11% of the surveyed individuals experienced heart-related issues post-COVID-19 vaccination.
The onset of cardiac complications varied among participants, with 14.55% experiencing symptoms within one month of vaccination and others reporting issues up to 12 months or longer.
TrialSite News reported on the “bombshell Saudi Arabian study” on Wednesday. Founder, Daniel O’Connor, told The Defender that while the study has limitations and was designed to look for cardiac complications, “The rate of hospitalized cases was certainly notable, especially given the existing cardiac (myocarditis/pericarditis) signal associated with the vaccines.”

I Knew Guys In Girls Sports Was Just A Chance To Watch Girls In The Locker Room

By the way, this is the same biological male who injured three females during a basketball game, causing the team to forfeit.
Clark is 6’0″ and has facial hair.
He also participates in tae kwon do and rowing, which are not at the school. In track & field, he competes in two events where that Y chromosome really helps, especially after puberty: hurdles and shot put.
Quillette received a copy of a complaint sent to the United States Rowing Association (USRowing) in October 2022. Over 15 parents signed the complaint:

These young girls should never have been put through being told they had to face a male body everyday as they undressed…It was a constant thought, a constant threat to submit and a constant awareness. Yet they dared not say anything (except privately to their parents). The rowing team also required the male athlete to room with them on trips. The girls spoke to us about quitting rowing because of the intimidation of being forced to be in a hotel room alone with a male.

1) Wipe out a 2,000 mile border. Allow 10-million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let toxic drugs in that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support for those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.
2) Run up $35 trillion in national debt. Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and inhumane.

3). Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China. Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Follow the lead of international agencies like the UN, ICC, and WHO to atone forpast American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.
4) In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation. Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Redefine all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion, and commendation.
5) Redefine violent crime as understandable, cry-of-the-heart expressions of social justice. Ensure no bail and same-day release for arrested, repeat violent felons. Empathize with the violent killer and rapist; ignore their victims, especially if slain police-officers.
6). Emasculate the military by using non-meritocratic standards of race, gender, and sexual orientation to determine promotion and commendation. Deliberately smear as racists and insurrectionists the largest demographic in the military who in recent wars died at twice their numbers in the population—so that they leave or never join the military. Encourage retired high officers to slander their Commander-in-Chief. Cut the defense budget. Stop producing sufficient weapons, but leave billions of dollars’ worth of arms to terrorists.
7) Reinvent the justice system to indict, bankrupt, convict, jail and eliminate political opponents. Use ballot removal, impeachment, civil suits, and state and federal indictments rather than elections to defeat an opponent. Mob the homes of non-compliant Supreme Court Justices, attack them personally by name.
8) Encourage the fusion of the bureaucratic state with the electric media to form a powerful force for political audit, surveillance, censorship, and coercion. Marry the FBI to Silicon Valley and hire its contractors to warp the news and hound supposed enemies of the people.
9.) Make war on affordable gasoline and natural gas. Substitute inefficient, unreliable, and expensive wind and solar power, even as energy prices bankrupt the middle class.
10.) Marry late, but preferably not at all. Consider males toxic, especially boys. Have no children, or as few as possible. Otherwise, assure children they are entitled, and must be sheltered. Raise them to have grievances against past generations and current norms.
11.) Turn world-class universities into indoctrination centers. Suspend the Bill of Rights on campuses. Train youth to graduate despising their own culture and civilization. Recruit foreign students from hostile nations to subsidize campus commissarbloat. Replace the curriculum with therapeutic propaganda. Ban the SAT/ACT and do not evaluate high school GPAs. Ensure merit does not select the student body. Charge tuition higher than the rate of inflation. Bill the government when students default on their loans.
So why are those controlling Biden using him to advance much of such a destructive agenda that would end America as we know it?
1) They are delusional and think their socialist and globalist agendas are working and will save us.
2) They are raging nihilists who do not like the U.S. and deliberately want it destroyed as a service to the world. A ruined U.S. is preferable to a strong America.
3) They are Jacobin revolutionaries who are intentionally erasing the old United States as a prerequisite for creating an entirely new America that will arise from the ashes with no trace or even memory of its past.
4) They have no agenda. They are aimless fools, and utter incompetents. These bunglers just wing it day-to-day, in response to what their radical media, academic, and political masters dictate is necessary for them to retain power. They have no idea of the damage they are doing.

Navy Medical Service Corps Lt. Ted Macie shared shocking information about the surge in heart failure among military personnel. Macie claimed that members of the U.S. military have experienced massive increases in heart-related issues, presenting Defense Department data showing the following.

America has undergone enormous change during the nearly eight decades of my life. Today, America is a bitterly divided, poorly educated and morally fragile society with so-called mainstream politicians pushing cynical identity politics, socialism and open borders. The president of the United States is threatened with impeachment because the other side doesn’t like him. The once reasonably unbiased American media has evolved into a hysterical left wing mob. How could the stable and reasonably cohesive America of the 1950s have reached this point in just one lifetime? Who are the main culprits? Here’s my list of the 10 most destructive Americans of the last 80 years.
10) Mark Felt – Deputy director of the FBI, aka “Deep Throat” during the Watergate scandal. This was the first public instance of a senior FBI officially directly interfering in America’s political affairs. Forerunner of James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Andrew McCabe.
9) Bill Ayers– Represents the deep and ongoing leftist ideological damage to our education system. An unrepentant American terrorist who evaded punishment, he devoted his career to radicalizing American education and pushing leftist causes. Ghost wrote Obama’s book, “Dreams of My Father.”
8) Teddy Kennedy – Most folks remember Teddy as the guy who left Mary Joe Kopechne to die in his car at Chappaquiddick. The real damage came after he avoided punishment for her death and became a major Democrat force in the US Senate, pushing through transformative liberal policies in health care and education. The real damage was the 1965 Hart-Cellar immigration bill he pushed hard for that changed the quota system to increase the flow of third world people without skills into the US and essentially ended large-scale immigration from Europe.
7) Walter Cronkite – Cronkite was a much beloved network anchor who began the politicalization of America’s news media with his infamous broadcast from Vietnam that described the Tet Offensive as a major victory for the Communists and significantly turned the gullible American public against the Vietnam War. In fact, the Tet offensive was a military disaster for the NVA and Viet Cong, later admitted by North Vietnamese military leaders. Decades later Cronkite admitted he got the story wrong. But it was too late. The damage was done.
6) Bill and Hillary Clinton—It’s difficult to separate Team Clinton. Bill’s presidency was largely benign as he was a relative fiscal conservative who rode the remaining benefits of the Reagan era. But his sexual exploits badly stained the Oval Office and negatively affected America’s perception of the presidency. In exchange for financial support, he facilitated the transfer of sensitive military technology to the Chinese. Hillary, a Saul Alinsky acolyte, is one of the most vicious politicians of my lifetime, covering up Bill’s sexual assaults by harassing and insulting the exploited women and peddling influence around the globe in exchange for funds for the corrupt Clinton Foundation. She signed off on the sale of 20% of the US uranium reserve to the Russians after Bill received a $500,000 speaking fee in Moscow and the foundation (which supported the Clinton’s regal lifestyle) received hundreds of millions of dollars from those who benefited from the deal. Between them, they killed any honor that might have existed in the dark halls of DC.

They Are Lying Again – Livestock Are Being Jabbed With mRNA So They Can Say GMO Free, But Are More Deadly
I have tried to avoid the jab, mRNA, and all of the other poison they tried to stab us with. Now, they are giving mRNA shots to pigs and cows to get it to humans through food.

The big question in the industry was whether vaccinations could replace antibiotics. The problem was specificity to disease and long development horizons. Then came the breakthrough: mRNA. About 12 years ago the poultry industry began using mRNA. About 5 years ago the pork industry joined and about 2 years ago cattle followed.
Have you noticed the “antibiotic free” messaging from the industry lately? They don’t say “substitute mRNA for antibiotics.” They just say “antibiotic free.” This is one of the most clever-speaks ever invented.
Of course, just like rBGH in dairy cows—remember that?—used for nearly a decade before going on the label—mRNA has been used for some time without widespread knowledge. Dr. Joe Mercola discovered this in the spring of 2023 and alerted Americans that it was already in our meat. I was unaware of it, like almost everyone else.
Since then, the industry has circled the wagons. When testimony in Missouri’s legislature revealed its use in cattle, the industry quickly put out a press release stating mRNA was “not licensed” for use in cattle. This is a common sleight of words. The industry did not say “We aren’t using it;” notice the words: “not licensed.” The obvious inference to the average consumer is that it’s not being used.
But all sorts of exemptions and loopholes exist around drugs. Both experimental and emergency use make an end run around licensing. This was the case with rBGH in dairy cows. The dairy industry didn’t have to disclose its use, on labels or otherwise, due to its “experimental” designation. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking (Pinky and the Brain) this sounds extremely similar to the clever-speak surrounding mRNA use on humans during Covid—experimental and emergency.

After major news organizations distorted former President Donald Trump’s comments about a “bloodbath” for the auto industry, a majority of voters now agree with Trump that the news media are “the enemy of the people.”
That’s according to Rasmussen Reports.
The survey finds that 60% of likely voters agree that the media are “truly the enemy of the people,” as Trump said in 2019, including 30% who “strongly agree..”
Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree, including 21% who “strongly disagree.”
When he made the remark in Dayton, Ohio, Trump was discussing Chinese competition to the US auto industry when he said, “If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be … a bloodbath for the country.”
This was distorted in many news reports as a threat of violence.
I had to work with them as my job. I knew they were liars and had no morals.

Doctors Warn of Mysterious Cancer Epidemic Affecting Fit, Younger People
Top doctors are warning of an “epidemic” of cancers normally seen in older people that are now affecting younger, fit, healthy people and are unsure of the cause.
After the Princess of Wales announced on Friday that she was being treated for cancer, specialist clinicians said they were seeing much larger numbers of “fit and outwardly healthy” under 45’s presenting with cancers than ever before.
“One study that looked at data from Northern Ireland between 1993 and 2019 found the rate of early-onset cancers increased by 20.5 per cent, the equivalent of about 7,000 extra cases a year across the UK,” reports the Telegraph.
Health experts are baffled as to what is causing the new trend, which is primarily centered on the abdominal area.
“When I started as a cancer surgeon 20 years ago, you rarely saw any younger patients, but now I see them regularly,” said Prof Andrew Beggs, a consultant colorectal surgeon and a senior clinical fellow at the University of Birmingham.
Gee, it couldn’t be the Covid jab now could it.

On October 5, 2015, Nature reported, “Three scientists who developed therapies against parasitic infections have won this year’s Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
“The winners are: William C. Campbell, a microbiologist at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey; Satoshi Ōmura, a microbiologist at Kitasato University in Japan; and Youyou Tu, a pharmacologist at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing.
“In the 1970s, Campbell and Ōmura discovered a class of compounds, called avermectins, that kill parasitic roundworms that cause infections such as river blindness and lymphatic filariasis. The most potent of these was released onto the market in 1981 as the drug ivermectin.”
Six years later, our Banana Republic government, led by Biden the Bribed, mocked ivermectin — dismissing it as horse paste. The reason, an off-the-shelf remedy for covid would have demoted Operation Warp Speed to Operation Follow the Law and FDA Rules.
Ivermectin worked, so the FDA tweeted, “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”

To the elitists in DC (none of whom are actually elite at anything worthwhile) the people they are supposed to serve are rubes. The tweet promoted an unsigned FDA press release, “Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19.”
The piece said, “There seems to be a growing interest in a drug called ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans. Certain animal formulations of ivermectin such as pour-on, injectable, paste, and ‘drench,’ are approved in the U.S. to treat or prevent parasites in animals. For humans, ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses to treat some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.”

The FDA promoted on late-night TV its disinformation campaign against using a Nobel-winning wonder drug against covid.
The Week reported, “Late night hosts are baffled anyone chooses horse de-wormer over COVID-19 vaccines.”
I am not baffled as to why all the late-night hosts simultaneously decided to mock ivermectin because if I learned anything from the Twitter files it is that the government bureaucracy will use your money to pay off corporate media to carry its message and to censor you.
Well, I am no doctor but I am pretty sure taking a medication intended for animals is a bad thing, but the trouble is the FDA leaned on doctors not to treat covid with prescriptions of the ivermectin made for humans.
The propaganda piece said, “The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.”
The same could be said for what the FDA passed along as vaccines. The FDA may have approved them on an emergency basis, but they had not been shown to be safe or effective for” covid. Since then, we know there is no covid vaccine. There was a covid shot, of course, which mitigated the damage from the virus but it was not a vaccine in that it neither protected the patient from the virus nor did it stop the spread of covid.
The covid shot was like a flu shot. I don’t get them, but my wife did when she was still mobile. To each his (or her) own. I got the covid shot in deference to her because I would never hear the end of it if I killed her. We will spend eternity together, so I am cleaning up my act.

Emily Miller reported on Friday, “The Food and Drug Administration settled the lawsuit brought by three doctors who use ivermectin off-label to treat COVID-19. The FDA agreed to delete social media posts opposing the medication by saying it is for horses.
“Dr. Mary Talley Bowden of Day 8, the plaintiff in the case, told me: ‘The damage the FDA inflicted will linger, but future patients are now protected from one meaningful government intrusion into their medical care.’”
The Washington Examiner reported, “The FDA agreed to remove a similar post from April 26, 2022, posted on Twitter.”
This is locking the medicine cabinet door long after the horse paste hoax had escaped. We do not know how many lives could have been saved if the FDA did not throw shade on ivermectin.
Then again, we don’t know how many people died from covid. Oh, we know how many people died WITH covid. If you had covid and died in a car accident, you counted as a person who died WITH covid. Lucky you.
But how many people covid actually killed will never be known and for good reason. The government did not want you to know. The government thrives in an emergency. Ginning up the numbers kept that emergency going.
I am not an anti-vaxxer. I am very pro-vaccine. Vaccines are a miracle that have eradicated smallpox, which killed one-third of the people who contracted it. The polio vaccine meant kids could be free to go swimming again.
Sure I had measles, chicken pox, German measles and mumps as a kid. I survived. But I gladly would like back the 8 weeks that I spent recovering from the 4. The MMR shot is a miracle. That 2015 article in Nature said, “This year’s prize highlights the global acceptance of the importance of parasitic infections, and neglected tropical diseases in general, says Stephen Ward at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK. He notes that artemisinin has ‘saved possibly millions of lives’ — although resistance to the drug is on the rise in parts of southeast Asia — and that ivermectin has protected millions from disease.”

Massive German document release sheds still more light on the entire Covid farce, as if any more light were needed
Last week, the Robert Koch Institut (the German CDC) released over 2,500 pages documenting the meetings of the “Covid Crisis Team” between January 2020 and April 2021. They did so in response to long-running litigation by journalists at Multipolar.
This is a major revelation – a rough German equivalent of the Fauci email releases from 2021 – which takes us directly into the internal discussions of the pandemic managers throughout the 2020 lockdowns and the early stages of the vaccination campaign. ‘Gender Science’ Was Merely Ideology All Along
Did you hear the news? England’s National Health Service (NHS) has decided that children diagnosed with gender dysphoria will no longer receive puberty blockers because “there is not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness … to make the treatment routinely available at this time.”
The premier of Alberta, Canada, is planning legislation to restrict “gender-affirming” surgeries such as mastectomies for minors and puberty blockers for youth aged 15 and under. Other socially liberal nations have also hit the brakes on “gender affirmation,” in children, including Norway, Finland, France, Denmark, Sweden, and New Zealand. So have a score of American states.
Why did it take so long for common sense to return to this contentious issue? Blame the cultural imperialism of gender ideologues who, while most of us were not paying attention, successfully instituted “treatment guidelines” that focused almost exclusively on “affirming” a child’s gender confusion as medically necessary, while branding the more cautious approach of deeply exploring the mental health issues that could have contributed to the patient’s confusion as “transphobic,” and, even, likely to drive gender-confused children to suicide.

Some Of Us Were Right All Along- FDA Loses its War on Ivermectin: Agrees to Remove All Related Social Media Content and Consumer Advisories on Ivermectin Usage for COVID-19
In December 2021, the FDA warned Americans not to use Ivermectin, which “is intended for animals” to treat or prevent COVID-19.
“Never use medications intended for animals on yourself or other people. Animal ivermectin products are very different from those approved for humans. Use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans is dangerous,” FDA said at the time.
This was a very controversial statement at the time since the FDA pushed the drug on African migrants back in 2015, and the drug was praised in several scientific journals.
There have now been 101 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies that show a 62% lower risk in early treatment in COVID-19 patients.
A group of brave doctors had filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agencies’ unlawful attempts to block the use of ivermectin in treating COVID-19.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Southern District of Texas in Galveston, argues that the FDA has overstepped its authority and unjustifiably interfered with their medical practice.
The plaintiffs, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter, are contesting the FDA’s portrayal of ivermectin as dangerous for human consumption. They note that the FDA has approved ivermectin for human use since 1996 for a variety of diseases. However, they allege that with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA began releasing documents and social media posts discouraging the use of the anti-viral drug for COVID-19 treatment.
“We’re suing the FDA for lying to the public about ivermectin,” said Dr. Bowden.
They couldn’t make any money on it so they outlawed it and talked trash about it. A few of us found it anyway and took it. We were right all along. Some of them should be charged with murder as it would have saved lives

Top Diversity Official at Columbia University Medical School Accused of Plagiarism – Another Ivy League Loser School

Columbia medical center DEI head plagiarized Ph.D. dissertation, complaint alleges
The leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) officer at a major New York City medical center has recently been accused of plagiarizing nearly a fifth of his Ph.D. dissertation.
Citing a recently submitted anonymous complaint, The Washington Free Beacon on Feb. 29 wrote that Alade McKen “plagiarized extensively in his doctoral dissertation, lifting entire pages of material, without attribution, from sources that include Wikipedia.”
The Free Beacon shared a side-by-side comparison of excerpts from McKen’s Iowa State University doctoral dissertation that closely resemble the work of other authors and Wikipedia.
“A complaint filed with Columbia yesterday implicates approximately a fifth of McKen’s 163-page dissertation,” Free Beacon reporter Aaron Sibarium posted to X the same day as the article’s publication. “Over two of those pages are a near-verbatim facsimile of Wikipedia’s entry on ‘Afrocentric education,’ which McKen never cites.”
McKen’s dissertation, entitled, “‘UBUNTU’ I am because we are: A case study examining the experiences of an African-centered Rites of Passage program within a community-based organization,” was written for a Ph.D. program on education, social, and cultural studies at Iowa State in 2021.
The complaint accuses McKen of plagiarizing more than 30 authors for his dissertation, with some listed in a bibliography but none apparently included for in-text citations.
One of the scholars that McKen allegedly plagiarized from, Chika Ezeanya-Esiobu, told the Free Beacon that she found the evidence supporting the allegations to be convincing.
“The passages you shared can definitely be classified as plagiarism,” she told the outlet.

Your Friday Harvard Report – Tramples the Truth When It Came To Debating Covid Lockdowns
I am no longer a professor of medicine at Harvard. The Harvard motto is Veritas, Latin for truth. But, as I discovered, truth can get you fired. This is my story—a story of a Harvard biostatistician and infectious-disease epidemiologist, clinging to the truth as the world lost its way during the Covid pandemic.
On March 10, 2020, before any government prompting, Harvard declared that it would “suspend in-person classes and shift to online learning.” Across the country, universities, schools, and state governments followed Harvard’s lead.
Yet it was clear, from early 2020, that the virus would eventually spread across the globe, and that it would be futile to try to suppress it with lockdowns. It was also clear that lockdowns would inflict enormous collateral damage, not only on education but also on public health, including treatment for cancer, cardiovascular disease, and mental health. We will be dealing with the harm done for decades. Our children, the elderly, the middle class, the working class, and the poor around the world—all will suffer.
Schools closed in many other countries, too, but under heavy international criticism, Sweden kept its schools and daycares open for its 1.8 million children, ages one to 15. Why? While anyone can get infected, we have known since early 2020 that more than a thousandfold difference in Covid mortality risk holds between the young and the old. Children faced minuscule risk from Covid, and interrupting their education would disadvantage them for life, especially those whose families could not afford private schools, pod schools, or tutors, or to homeschool.
What were the results during the spring of 2020? With schools open, Sweden had zero Covid deaths in the one-to-15 age group, while teachers had the same mortality as the average of other professions. Based on those facts, summarized in a July 7, 2020, report by the Swedish Public Health Agency, all U.S. schools should have quickly reopened.

1. Renewables can’t survive on their own
The renewable energy industry is a subsidy-based industry, as wind and solar are largely dependent on lucrative state and federal subsidies. However, renewable advocates justify these perpetual subsidies by claiming thermal generators receive more subsidies than wind and solar. This assertion is not based on reality….

In 2022, wind and solar generators received three and eighteen times more subsidies per MWh, respectively, than natural gas, coal, and nuclear generators combined. Solar is the clear leader, receiving anywhere from $50 to $80 per MWh over the last five years, whereas wind is a distant second at $8 to $10 per MWh.
Poor solar energy! No matter how many billions the government pours down the solar rathole, no one has figured out a way to generate solar power after the sun goes down.
2. Renewables increase the cost of electricity
Renewable advocates often claim that the adoption of more wind and solar will lead to lower electricity costs, but the opposite is true. In a previous Substack, we wrote in detail about how utility companies with the largest rate increase requests in the country admit the energy transition is a major reason behind increasing electricity prices for families and businesses.

Electric cars pollute 1,850 times more than fuel-based vehicles, study finds
A 2022 study found that electric vehicles (EVs) which left-leaning governments in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere are pushing on the population, pollute at a rate far higher than their gasoline or diesel-powered counterparts.
The 2022 study from the U.K.-based Emissions Analytics group found that during a 1,000 mile journey, EVs release 1,850 times more pollutants into the surrounding environment than gas-powered vehicles, due to the heavier weight which eats through tires.
While many think of emissions from exhaust, tire wear plays a significant role in emitting pollutants. The synthetic rubber used to create tires include certain chemicals that get released into the air, and because EVs are significantly heavier than conventional cars due to massive lithium batteries.
Overall, EVs weigh about 30 percent more than gas-powered vehicles, and cost thousands more to make and buy. These issues are in addition to the fact that they are not suitable in colder climates (such as Canada and the northern U.S.), offer poor range and long charging times (especially in cold weather), and have batteries that take tremendous resources to make and are hard to recycle.

People Who Took Ivermectin Were Better Off During Covid
Of course it worked. That’s why they banned it. They couldn’t make a dime off a Nobel winning product that had gone past it’s patent expiration. The global power hungry people also couldn’t corral the sheep without the jab so they banned Ivermectin (and Hydroxycholoroquine).
Here’s the story
A new study discovered that people who tested positive for COVID-19 and took ivermectin as a treatment recovered faster than a comparison group.
According to a large study from the United Kingdom, the results of which were published by the Journal of Infection on Feb. 29, 2024, the time to self-reported recovery was a median of two days faster among the ivermectin recipients.
It was also revealed that the quicker recovery period was statistically significant.
In addition to that, people who received ivermectin were also less likely to be hospitalized or die. The study pointed out that 1.6% of ivermectin recipients were hospitalized or died versus 4% of the comparison group, which received typical care, which in the U.K. is largely focused on managing symptoms.
The study also found that ivermectin recipients enjoyed a reduction of severe symptoms and sustained recovery.
An open-label trial was covered by the study that involved 2,157 ivermectin recipients and 3,256 who received typical care from June 23, 2021, to July 1, 2022, with participants being randomized and reporting symptoms and recovery.

‘Star Witness’ Lies, Destroyed Evidence and Collusion Highlighted in New House GOP Jan. 6 Report
The main findings from the report focus on the Jan. 6 Commission destroying evidence, “star witness” Cassidy Hutchinson contradicting herself on numerous occasions and the committee colluding with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Much of the findings have already been reported by this outlet and others.
According to the report’s summary, Jan. 6 Commission officials Reps. Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney failed to turn over video recordings of witness interviews and depositions despite using these recordings in their high-profile, primetime hearings.
“The Subcommittee recovered over one hundred deleted or password-protected files, including some files that were deleted days before Republicans took the majority,” the report’s summary said. “They also hid multiple transcribed interviews of witnesses who had firsthand knowledge of Trump‘s actions on January.”
The report’s summary also said Hutchinson conducted three transcribed interviews with the Select Committee before substantially revising her story in her fourth transcribed interview. “Despite knowing how significantly her testimony changed, the Select Committee promoted it as fact,” the report said.
Perhaps the most glaring contradiction exposed in the report is Hutchinson’s false statement about President Donald Trump trying to grab the steering wheel of his presidential vehicle and lunging toward his security detail when he was informed that he would not be taken to the Capitol following his Jan. 6 rally.

If ESG is valued highly by consumers, then companies that get high scores should attract a disproportionate amount of investment, meaning that their cost of capital will be lower than companies who don’t score so well — the magic through which a bullshit report is turned into a business opportunity.

In the autumn of 623, during the month of Ramadan, a trade caravan was sent by the Quraysh people from Mecca to Syria. This is Google, an invincible search monopoly printing $80 billion a year in net income, sitting on something like $120 billion in cash, employing over 150,000 people, with close to 30,000 engineers. Could the story really be so simple as out-of-control DEI-brained management? To a certain extent, and on a few teams far more than most, this does appear to be true. But on closer examination it seems woke lunacy is only a symptom of the company’s far greater problems. First, Google is now facing the classic Innovator’s Dilemma, in which the development of a new and important technology well within its capability undermines its present business model. Second, and probably more importantly, nobody’s in charge.

New AI-powered tools produce inaccurate election information more than half the time, including answers that are harmful or incomplete, according to new research.
The study, from AI Democracy Projects and nonprofit media outlet Proof News, comes as the U.S. presidential primaries are underway across the U.S. and as more Americans are turning to chatbots such as Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s GPT-4 for information. Experts have raised concerns that the advent of powerful new forms of AI could result in voters receiving false and misleading information, or even discourage people from going to the polls.

Recycling Doesn’t Work—and the Plastics Industry Knew It
Every time I get reminded to recycle, I show articles like this and remind the other person that it is socialist behavior and how bad it is for our health. Since I’m related by marriage to a bunch of socialists in Scandinavia, it sort of stops them from their favorite sport, trashing America.
Well, here are the facts, it doesn’t work and it’s been a first class hoax since inception.
The industry knew decades ago that recycling was never viable in the long term, and now we’re all being poisoned by its product.
Hardly any plastics can be recycled. You’d be forgiven for not knowing that, given how much messaging Americans receive about the convenience of recycling old bottles and food containers—from the weekly curbside collections to the “chasing arrows” markings on food and beverage packaging. But here’s the reality: Between 1990 and 2015, some 90 percent of plastics either ended up in a landfill, were burned, or leaked into the environment. Another recent study estimates that just 5 to 6 percent are successfully recycled.
While those numbers may surprise you, these sorts of statistics aren’t news to the companies that produce plastics. For more than 30 years, the industry knew precisely how impractical it is to recycle them, according to a new report from the Center for Climate Integrity. A trade association called the Vinyl Institute concluded in a 1986 report that “recycling cannot be considered a permanent solid waste solution” to plastics, as it merely prolongs the time until an item is disposed of.” Still, facing public backlash over the growing amount of plastics being incinerated and piling up in landfills, manufacturers and their lobbyists sold recycling as an easy solution, warding off potential legislation to ban or limit plastics.
This, of course, has echoes of Big Tobacco and Big Oil, both of which withheld crucial information from the public for decades—causing untold damage to human health and the planet, respectively. Both industries are paying dearly for it. Is Big Plastic due for a similar reckoning?
In some sense, a reckoning is already happening—just not (yet) because of the industry’s decades of alleged deception, disastrous environmental justice record, and mass proliferation of microplastics into human bloodstreams. At the beginning of this year, S&P Global found that the petrochemicals industry—responsible for producing the suite of typically oil- and gas-derived compounds known as plastics, as well as pesticides and industrial chemicals—faces uncertain prospects over the coming years. “Overall, global petrochemicals prices appear to have reached a peak in October and are forecast to grind lower into early-2024 following energy and feedstock prices lower,” the consultancy found, forecasting a “supply-drive surplus” through 2026.
Researchers tested plastic pellets from recycling plants in 13 different plants across the world. They found 491 readily identifiable organic compounds, with a further 170 tentatively identified. As you can see from the table below, they span a wide variety of chemical classes.

CCP Destroying All Covid-19 Data, Proving To The Rest Of The World That It Was All All Lies
Recent revelations from a source with knowledge of the matter suggest that the regime has mandated the nationwide destruction of all COVID-19 data within the healthcare system.
Recently, Mr. Chen (pseudonym) from Changsha, Hunan, disclosed to the Chinese language edition of The Epoch Times that his friend holds a leadership role in a local hospital. “He told me directly: the government is instructing health departments across the country to eradicate all COVID-19-related data, including information on the entire epidemic prevention process and vaccination records. They must obliterate all data without leaving a trace, and computer records must be deleted entirely,” said Mr. Chen.
Mr. Chen said the person said that the directive is nationwide.
Mr. Chen elaborated that the CCP’s demand entails “No data can be spared, neither on paper nor on computers. Records of vaccine administration are to be expunged, as well as records of nucleic acid testing and any embarrassing incidents that occurred during the entire epidemic prevention process.”
According to Mr. Chen, the authorities seek to erase this period from history, intending to prevent future generations from learning about these events as it signifies a government failure. He drew parallels to previous CCP leader Mao Zedong’s actions that resulted in the deaths of many Chinese people, actions that were intentionally omitted from historical records.

Gemini AI, Fake Racism, Woke And Other Stuff Google Does That Is Evil
In the week that Google’s new artificial intelligence platform launched, its seeming inability to produce images of white men regardless of the prompt made it an unmitigated disaster.
And with more information unearthed regarding the people responsible for Google Gemini’s insufferable wokeness, its deficiencies look much less like a bug and more like a feature.
As reported Thursday by the Babylon Bee’s news site, Not the Bee, the senior director of the project, Jack Krawczyk, addressed Gemini’s problems in a post on the X social media platform — before he locked his account.
“We are aware that Gemini is offering inaccuracies in some historical image generation depictions, and we are working to fix this immediately,” Krawczyk said.
Between the wording of his post and Google’s decision to suspend Gemini’s image-generating feature, it appears the tech giant wants the insanely diverse images to seem like a simple mistake….only it wasn’t. Click on the link above

What is a little irritating to this site is that suddenly this event cost Google this much. We have been posting actual court-worthy evidence for well over a decade that Google breaks its OWN STATED RULES to give a neo-Marxist search result as opposed to the one its own rules state should be given. (Joe Biden’s) EV Mandate “Vision” For America Is In Full Collapse
Color us not surprised, but another one of the Biden administration’s “visions” for forcing people to own electric vehicles isn’t working out exactly as planned.
This time it deals with supply chain logistics, with Bloomberg reporting this week that in the year and a half since passing the Inflation Reduction Act, automakers are finding out the hard way that the rigorous criteria for manufacturing batteries using materials from the United States and its free-trade allies could render them cost-inefficient compared to global competitors.
Companies like Tesla are instead taking advantage of a temporary shift in the rules to stock up with cheaper batteries from countries like China.
The Biden administration’s new rules will all but cut out China from the supply chain, however, which will make it tougher to find affordable metal suppliers.
This, in turn, will threaten President Biden’s goal to boost the domestic electric vehicle market. Bloomberg writes that mining companies and labor unions insist that without curtailing the influx of cheaper, Chinese-subsidized materials, the U.S. can’t develop a competitive EV market.
Meanwhile, the higher costs are driving automakers away from EVs. And as battery material requirements are set to double by 2027, fulfilling these mandates will be increasingly difficult, putting Biden’s ambitious EV strategy at risk.
Mercedes-Benz Walks Back On Huge Electric Vehicle Commitment Amid Slowing Demand
Mercedes-Benz on Thursday walked back plans to have an all-electric line-up by 2030 as consumers decline to adopt electric vehicles (EV) at the rate automakers expected.
The company has changed its expectations to have only 50% of its sales be EVs by 2030, announcing that it will be updating its current line-up featuring the internal combustion engine into the next decade, according to Mercedes-Benz in its fourth quarter report. EV sales grew 21% year-over-year in 2023, but total car sales remained relatively the same, bucking hopes that EVs would fuel growth as the automaker pushes electric models.
