The NAACP is getting in on this hoax game, too. They recently got busted trying to peddle this type of nonsense regarding the Daniel Penny not-guilty verdict. It all started when the NAACP responded to an X post by CNN that announced Daniel Penny’s fair and just acquittal – that case should’ve never gone to trial. And of course, instead of doing so professionally, the NAACP did what they do best: they sunk into the gutter, lied, and spread a fake racism hoax.

Thankfully, X’s Community Notes was there to crush the NAACP’s lie, and set the record straight.

Here’s what the NAACP lied about when responding to the CNN post. There were black people on the subway helping to restrain him, and who testified on behalf of Penny during the trial. This had nothing to do with race. It was very clearly a mental health/violence issue.
