Democrats may have just realized that having “orange man bad” as their sole political message for the past 10 years was a really bad idea. In a surprisingly blunt segment on CNN News Central, the show’s hosts acknowledged what many Americans have long suspected: the Democratic Party was “a complete and utter mess” as they looked toward the 2028 presidential election. With no frontrunner, deep internal disarray, and record-low favorability ratings; you knew things were bad when even CNN sounded the alarm.

The analysis was sparked by former Vice President Kamala Harris’s return to the national stage to promote her book on her campaign for president in 2024. Jim Acosta is expected to leave CNN, according to Oliver Darcy of Status News.

Darcy reported on Monday night that the 18-year veteran of the network has indicated to associates that he plans to leave the network after he was removed from his 10 a.m. weekday time slot by CNN CEO Mark Thompson.

Earlier this month, Darcy reported that Thompson asked Acosta to anchor a show during the graveyard shift – from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly came in hot Tuesday after former CNN pundit Jeffrey Toobin attacked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Toobin, also a former staff writer for the New Yorker, was axed after exposing his penis on a Zoom call with staffers from the New Yorker and WNYC radio in Oct. 2020. Kelly hit back at the “disgraced” ex-pundit over his criticism of Thomas on social media.

“In oral argument today, Justice Thomas is minimizing the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capital,” Toobin wrote on Twitter. “Perhaps that’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a disgrace that he’s sitting on this case.”

“Hi Toobin – fyi you waived your right to use the term ‘disgraced’ about other lawyers when you took your dick out of your pants and jerked off in front of your colleagues,” Kelly replied.

CNN drew criticism and mockery after it published a nearly 2,000-word essay on the use and history of neopronouns on Saturday, including how to address a person who refers to themselves as a “leaf.” 

In the article titled “A guide to neopronouns from ae to ze,” an expert on neopronouns and their histories and professor of English and Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign told the outlet that “People like to have a say in how they’re identified.”

“Refusing to let people self-identify is a way of excluding them,” he added. 

Playing to its audience, CNN thought it necessary to explain what a pronoun is and how they are used daily. The article’s author explained how neopronouns are most often “used by nonbinary, transgender, and gender nonconforming people because they offer more freedom of identity.” It even had a guide on how to use neo-pronouns in a sentence. 

CNN posted the article on X and at the time of writing the post has over 1.4 million views only 511 likes, over 4,000 comments, and over 750 quote tweets, with the vast majority making fun of the outlet. 

Christina Buttons wrote, “Is this a serious news outlet for serious journalists or an activist rag?”

Since I’m not job hunting anymore and my social media outlet other than blogs is LinkedIn, I lampoon them often for being woke in my profile. I wonder how many recruiters are getting a laugh at the stuff I put in my profile.
