Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, one of the first young technologists brought on to Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has returned to government shortly after resigning.
“Edward Coristine joined the Social Security Administration this week as a special government employee,” Stephen McGraw, an SSA spokesperson, tells WIRED. “His work will be focused on improving the functionality of the Social Security website and advancing our mission of delivering more efficient service to the American people.”
Multiple sources at the SSA tell WIRED that Coristine has appeared in person to work onsite at the agency’s Woodlawn, Maryland, headquarters. One SSA employee says they saw Coristine with DOGE engineer Aram Moghaddassi, a current X and former Neuralink employee deployed at the agency. The pair was spotted at the SSA cafeteria as recently as Monday, although it’s unclear what day this week Coristine’s employment officially began. “Coristine looked nervous, almost embarrassed,” the SSA source says. “Aram was on the phone with someone … then said, ‘Yes, I’m with him right now,’ gesturing to Big Balls.”
Science fiction fans will recall references to the Kobayashi Maru maneuver mentioned in Star Trek.
The Kobayashi Maru is a no-win scenario training exercise in the Star Trek universe designed by Starfleet Academy to test cadets in a command position.

In the simulation, the cadet is in command of a starship that receives a distress call from a fuel ship, the Kobayashi Maru, which is stranded and damaged in the Neutral Zone between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. To rescue the ship, the cadet must enter the Neutral Zone, which risks an attack by the Klingons.
If the cadet attempts the rescue, a large Klingon force targets their vessel. The cadet is forced to choose between attempting to rescue the Kobayashi Maru or leaving the fuel ship to certain destruction.
During the past 2 weeks, the DOGE team has been using their tech savvy and the power of Artificial Intelligence and programming to sweep through the massive data sets accumulated by government agencies. They have connected funding amounts to their final destinations.
Fraud and graft can’t hide behind gigantic data sets and lazy employees anymore.

The DOGE Crew’s work has allowed President Donald Trump, Sec. of State Marco Rubio, and other agency administrators the ability to defund activities and groups not aligned with the “America First” agenda and the will of the American people who elected Trump into office….and were comfortable knowing that Trump had assembled a team he was bringing with him.

Elon Musk has taken it to a new level though. $44 Billion is the king of F/U buys so far. He’s smart enough that it might work.
I know he is trying to stop child porn, spam bots and is fighting for free speech the best since 1776, but how many people can afford to take this gamble?

I don’t know what it will become, but Musk does have a track record for success. Even if it’s not as big as Space-X or Tesla, he rescued social media (except for fake book) from being a cesspool of bias and hate against good or God.
Twitter was a one-sided censorship platform that had to be killed so that it could survive.
Either way, I enjoy all the time I got back from getting off of useless social media.
