Despite the lowest gas prices in years, the trade deficit is down, narcotics that kill millions of Americans are being stopped at sea, and crime is being addressed in the major cities (unless a mayor rejects it), there are some assholes still in Congress.

A runner-up award goes to Governor Pritzker in Illinois, a city known for its crime and murder rates. He refused help from Trump to clean up the mess that Chicago has been for decades. It’s as if he’s against helping the regular people, but then he’s a fat assed billionaire who doesn’t give a shit about anything but power.

Not to be outdone though, is this week’s winner, Al Green. He made an ass of himself getting thrown out of the State of the Union speech, and like Pritkzker, he’s only after making noise instead of helping his constituents.

He filed a bill for the impeachment of Trump, whose only real basis was that Al is an asshole. Dutifully, Congress, from both sides, shot it down. Even the democrats who publicly criticize Trump wouldn’t go for this.

So instead of trying to help Americans, he winds up being the Asshole of the week.

First, I’d like to call out Erin Andrews, sports babe who flies on private jets, makes $2 million and got a $55 million settlement for someone filming her in her hotel room.

Of all the girls on the sidelines who add about 30 seconds of useless commentary to a game, I loathe her the most.

During an episode of her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa with fellow sportscaster Charissa Thompson, Andrews said:

“You got to love what you do because, I miss all holidays. I didn’t get married until I was in my 40s. Not that that is going to be your route, but I live out of a suitcase. I miss a lot of stuff. I missed a lot of weddings. I miss a lot of events. You have to love it to get you through the fact, I’m not gonna be home for Thanksgiving next week or Christmas is cut short.”

Now, Andrews wasn’t exactly complaining. She knows she’s got a pretty great thing going with her career, so nobody’s really going to have any sympathy for somebody making millions of dollars a year to call football games. But her comments still didn’t sit well with quite a few people on social media:

In the wake of New York City electing itself a real live communist for mayor earlier this month, Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) introduced a non-binding resolution to Congress this past week called “Denouncing the horrors of socialism.” That means it doesn’t create any sort of real law — it’s largely symbolic, with the intention of affirming “that the United States rejects socialism and opposes the implementation of socialist policies that threaten the freedoms and prosperity that define our nation.” 

Voting in favor of it should have been a no-brainer. It was for Republicans, at least: 199 voted in favor of it, with zero voting against. For Democrats, on the other hand, only 86 managed to find it within themselves to denounce the very things the U.S. stands against, while 98 voted against and two voted present, and 47 didn’t vote at all. You can’t make this stuff up.  

She can demand they remove it from the record all she wants, but the fact is that the congresswoman has, indeed, had a long love affair with Fidel Castro and communist Cuba. For decades, she’s opposed the U.S. embargo on the Caribbean country, she’s defended some of the policies of Castro and his regime, and yes, she’s visited Cuba numerous times under the guise of improving relations between our two nations. 

In 1998, she wrote a letter to Castro, apologizing to him for “mistakenly” voting for “House Concurrent Resolution 254, which called on the Government of Cuba to extradite to the United States Joanne Chesimard and all other individuals who have fled the United States from political persecution and received political asylum in Cuba.” Joanne Chesimard, also known as Assata Shakur, was a member of the Black Liberation Army and a career criminal back in the 1960s and 1970s who was finally charged with first degree murder after killing a New Jersey State Police officer in 1973. She was sentenced to life in prison, but eventually escaped and moved to Cuba, where she lived in exile until her recent death. 

Anyone who loves Castro and what he did to Cuba is certainly at least co-AOTW with Andrews.

Yesterday, I swam laps at the local pool. I went for about an hour, and easily half the people, including both lifeguards, were black. I didn’t care, nor did anyone else. Earlier in the day, the young kids were bused in for swimming lessons and used the pool. 75% of them were black.

So now Big Mike is blaming white people that blacks can’t swim. She’s so oppressed. She grew up in a white neighborhood, got into an elite college with questionable entry qualifications (other than DEI), drank the hell out of top shelf liquor in the WHITE house, wasted 10’s of millions of taxpayer money for her lavish vacations for friends and family, and now this:

No matter how much I’d like to give it to Jimmy Kimmel and his wife for having Trump derangement syndrome so badly that they cut off personal relationships, they were outdone this week.

Yes, the hags at The View were at it again. It’s hard not to consider them every week because they provide so much ammunition to win the award, but they’ve outdone themselves and others this week.

First, Sunny Hostin YELLS at Dem Senator Fetterman for Reopening Government, really? Do you hate the country that much that you would cut off your nose to spite your fat face? She claimed they gave away leverage to hurt half of the country.

Lezsee. In the same spirit, ‘I Want an Opposition Party!’ The View SCREAM at Dems for Reopening Government. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg tacitly admitted that it was Democrats who were holding out during the government shutdown, and whined that “eight senate Democrats threw in the towel by siding with the GOP to advance a vote that could lead to the government reopening.”

To put whipped cream on this pile of dog shit, Whoopi Abuses Veterans Day, Suggests Hegseth Doesn’t Care About Vets. Yes, the people who fought and died so these magpies can screech daily about conservatives and especially Trump, who lives in their heads rent-free that they’ll attack the Secretary of Defense.

Nothing was sacred to ABC’s The View if it could be abused to make an attack on some element of the Trump administration, including Veterans Day. During Tuesday’s episode, the liberal ladies sought to commemorate the holiday with their thanks and stories of their veteran family members; but moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought things down when she took a swipe at War Secretary Pete Hegseth to seemingly accuse him, an Army combat veteran, of not caring about those who came home from war.

This is so far from the truth that it makes the whole lot of them Assholes of the week. Here’s your prize, in honor of Denny, who started this tradition.

It would be easy to pick on the new socialist Guvner of NYC, Mamdani, but he hasn’t done much other than talk about how he’s going to destroy the city, and then the country.

No, the assholes are the ones who turned out in record numbers to vote for him. It’s been less than 25 years since the planes were flown into the World Trade Center buildings by American-hating and Antisemitic Muslims, kind of like Mamdani.

Combine that with the fact that socialism has failed every time it has been tried along with the generally nasty NY attitude and it’s the voters who get named the assholes of the week.

It would be easy to stop the government shutdown and open SNAP and WIC to those actually deserving it, but the AOTW Chuck Schumer won’t let it happen. He can’t even cook a cheeseburger right, much less run the Senate.

Senators will vote again on the two stopgap measures as soon as Friday. But with no votes flipping since last week, there’s no sign that they are close to breaking the impasse.

Instead, Republicans believe they were handed a new political gift: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s suggestion that the shutdown is getting better politically “every day” for Democrats.

“He says every day gets better for us. … He’s not talking about the American people,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) told reporters shortly before Thursday’s votes.

Barrasso and Senate Majority Leader John Thune both spoke on the floor Thursday morning with signs that featured Schumer’s remarks, which were made during an interview with Punchbowl News. Several other GOP senators and the White House weighed in on the comments Thursday.

“No matter what Chuck Schumer thinks, Americans struggling is not good, and the Democrats must stop inflicting this pain on them and reopen the government now,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said in a statement.

All because he wants to give money to the illegals, what an asshole.

It’s going to be tough to top Katie Porter, who went into last week as the leader in her race. After a disastrous interview with a liberal interviewer, things started going downhill. Then, it came out how she abused her staff.

Well, her divorce papers came out and she abuses everyone, even her ex.

Hoffman also filed for a restraining order from his rage-prone spouse, claiming she would “routinely” call him a “f—ing idiot” and “f—ing incompetent” – and shattered a glass coffee pot in their kitchen counter in March 2012 when she felt their house wasn’t clean enough.

“She would not let me have a cell phone because she said, ‘You’re too f—ing dumb to operate it,’” Hoffman said of Porter, 51, who has been in the hot seat this week as videos capturing her going scorched-earth and berating her former staff members made headlines.

“When she gets angry, she will claw and scratch her arms and then say to me ‘Look what you made me do!’” She regularly says that I am a bad parent in front of the kids … Recently the children began spitting at me and throwing their food at me, calling me ‘bad daddy.’”

Her flotilla of aid had no aid and was funded by Hamas. Remember them? They committed the atrocities on October 7 when they started the mess going on right now.

Yesterday, Ward Clark offered timely, on‑point coverage of the IDF’s interception of the 42 ships of the Global Sumud Flotilla. After Israel searched the ships, it was discovered that the flotilla carried no aid on board any of the vessels. Furthermore, additional evidence revealed the flotilla was funded by Hamas. The evidence regarding no aid will be presented first, followed by evidence of the Hamas connection.

Next, the NFL, in trying to attract more American viewers, picked a Spanish speaking wierdo for the halftime show that repulses those of us normies. The NFL could deserve its own post for its woke policies, but woke is dying, and nobody is kneeling. So while Goodell is an asshat, it’s just a game.

The winner of the AOTW is of course, the Nobel Peace Prize committee, who overlooked the person who actually brought peace this week because they are assholes.

It is not hyperbole to say President Donald Trump is the “Peace GOAT.” He’s ended more conflicts and saved more lives in the last nine months than any world leader has done in their entire lives, ever.

But facts alone weren’t enough to sway the ultra-woke, insanely anti-Trump Norwegian Nobel Committee. They instead gave this year’s Nobel Peace Prize to Maria Corina Machado, a Venezuelan opposition leader who speaks out for democratic rights in her country.

Not to diminish her efforts, but she hasn’t actually accomplished anything. Ever.

She dedicated the award to Trump, showing more integrity than the Nobel committee.

It was an asshole move by the committee, one they keep making since they gave it to a war president around 2009 who hadn’t done anything. He would go on to cause more division in our country than any recent president and stir up racism and hate.

It would be too easy to pin this on Schumer, but he got the shutdown named for him and the longer Government isn’t working, the less money they are wasting.

Actress and comedian Leslie Jones swung by Comedy Central’s The Daily Show on Thursday for one of her irregularly scheduled rants. This time, Jones, who is not exactly struggling financially, demanded other people pay her reparations and wondered why America hates black people.

Jones kicked off her rant by discussing social media posts by President Trump about the Smithsonian that argued the museums were too negative and focused too much on slavery, “Honestly, honestly, I don’t think museums go far enough. If you don’t leave an African American history museum weeping and wanting to give your closest black friends reparations, then they didn’t do the museum right. And let me say this, by the way, 40 acres and a mule is not enough anymore. I want 40 acres and a trust fund, how about that? Matter of fact, throw in the mule if you want to. I need something to carry my money.”

Tennis legend Serena Williams recently asked her social media followers their opinions on some decor she found inside a New York City hotel.

Williams was in town for an event put on by apparel companies SKIMS and Nike, which included a walk on a red carpet with Kim Kardashian. On Thursday, Williams made a temporary Instagram story post from inside an unknown hotel room where she made a discovery.

‘She has a thing against cotton??’

In a point-of-view video, Williams walks up to a cotton plant sitting on a table in a hallway and asks her audience, “All right, everyone. How do we feel about cotton as decoration?”

On the page TheShadeRoom, black viewers overwhelmingly disagreed with Williams taking issue with the plant.

“I don’t feel nothing about it!! It’s cute. She has a thing against cotton??” asked Gee Gee.

“I actually think it’s beautiful [art] decoration,” said a woman named Constance.

“They weren’t out there for her to see it as an offensive gesture. … It’s decor,” a man named Jay commented.

“It’s a plant! We aren’t picking it, giving free labor anymore! It’s a beautiful plant,” remarked Kiesha.

A few viewers inferred from Williams’ video that she saw the decoration as racist, with a woman named Charlandra claiming, “Seeing raw cotton can evoke racial trauma, recalling the forced labor our ancestors endured while picking raw cotton! Some of these hotels do have racial undertones! It’s a weird looking plant.”

At the same time though, kiky808 said, “Victim card race baiting bs while wearing a blonde wig.”

Actor Mark Ruffalo recently unleashed a torrent of ignorance about Jimmy Kimmel’s ouster at ABC. The government is not suppressing Kimmel’s speech, despite what you’ve heard. ABC, its affiliate stations, and station owners listened to disgusted viewers and wary advertisers who said they would no longer support the already low-rated and unprofitable show. The affiliates refused to run the show, and ABC made a business decision to end it entirely. Kimmel lying about Charlie Kirk’s assassin on-air and refusing to apologize made ABC’s decision easier.

Several Marvel stars and other Hollywood celebrities have come out to demand a boycott of Disney over ABC’s decision to suspend radical, left-wing Democrat Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.

Last Thursday, She Hulk star Tatiana Maslany took to her social media to urge her followers to boycott Disney over Kimmel’s suspension.

The Canadian actress wrote, “Cancel your @disneyplus @hulu @espn subscriptions!” in a post featuring photos from her Disney She Hulk TV series, according to Canadian news outlet CBC.

Maslany was joined by actor Pedro Pascal, who also took to social media on Thursday to call for fans to “defend free speech” and “defend democracy” by boycotting Disney.

I’ve been waiting for this to happen. Everyone including Kimmel predicted it. Jimmy got canned. The left is finally getting cancelled.

He was funny on the Man Show and the other host, Adam Carrolla is very conservative, go figure. I mean how did they get away with girls jumping on trampolines?

Then, he must have gotten paid a lot to veer left of Meathead, Keith Olberman, and the other stars of liberal land.

Anyway, for the stuff he’s said, and for trashing Charlie Kirk, Jimmy Kimmel, You are the asshole of the week.

The Media Is on War Footing Over Suspension

Legacy Media outlets lost their collective minds when CBS canned both “The Late Show” and its far-Left host Stephen Colbert earlier this year. That media reaction is tame compared to what we’re seeing now.

Kimmel Appears Unrepentant

The comic host could have backpedaled and/or apologized for his comments the following night. He was 100 percent wrong, and Kirk’s death is a national tragedy. We’re a forgiving country, and a heartfelt “my bad” would go a long way.

Except Kimmel did no such thing. And according to reports, he planned to double down had he been able to resume his show Wednesday night. We all make mistakes. Kimmel’s was born out of naked ideology, and that’s being kind.

FCC Chair’s Comments Weren’t Good or Helpful

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr warned that the government could take action on Kimmel’s original comments. That ties to the notion that broadcast platforms serve the public good, and malicious lies are antithetical to that rule.

He’s technically right, but it’s a very dangerous path to go down. It’s also something that could easily be weaponized by unscrupulous players on the Left and Right.

The Biden administration did plenty to curb free expression. Imagine what President Ocasio-Cortez would do with such a precedent?

The Left’s Censorship Cries Stink of Hypocrisy

There isn’t enough space on the Interwebs to share all the liberal hypocrisy on this issue. The Left downplayed or fed into Cancel Culture for years. It ignored the rise of Sensitivity Readers who censored new and existing art. They watched in silence as comedians self-censored for fear of career repercussions.

To liberals crying, “but what about free speech,” we say, “pound sand.”

This Isn’t OG Cancel Culture

Cancel Culture punished comedians for jokes they told a decade ago. Maybe more. It crucified stars for things they did when they were barely adults. It pummeled artists for sharing the “wrong” views on key issues, even if many others rightfully agreed with those views.

This … this … isn’t Cancel Culture. Kimmel’s big lie was nauseating, inappropriate and demanded a retraction. Period. And, if he had done that, none of this might have happened.

ABC May Be Embracing the Situation

CBS canceled “The Late Show” in part because it’s losing the network $40 million a year. It’s a no-brainer to cut ties with a format that no longer matters in a 21st-century media world.

What about Kimmel?

Is “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” a cash cow? Late-night revenues have been cratering for some time. Kimmel draws roughly between 1.2 and 1.7 million per episode. That’s lower than Colbert’s “Late Show” viewership and far lower than the format’s salad days.

Some reports suggest ABC wouldn’t mind getting out of the Jimmy Kimmel business given that reality. It’s a topic worth exploring.

The Liberal Bubble Bit Kimmel

It may say, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” but the show is taped and features a written monologue. That means someone had to pen that MAGA lie and, most likely, several staffers read it before the show’s taping. Did anyone raise their hand and say, “No, that’s inaccurate. Shouldn’t we change the line before we hit record?” 

Apparently not.

Even worse? No one spoke up the following day, when Team Kimmel could have served up that aforementioned apology. They were all caught up in the liberal bubble, the one that told them Kirk’s killer was MAGA through and through.

Legacy Media lies set this in motion, just as Fox News’ David Marcus said.

The Justice Department has filed a response to Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook’s lawsuit over her Monday firing – claiming that the President was within his right to boot her over allegations of mortgage fraud (with a third property disclosed by Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte last night), and that Cook is “highly unlikely to prevail on the merits.” 

Trump’s legal team argues that the Federal Reserve Act (FRA) gives the President “broad discretion” to remove governors “for cause” and that courts cannot second-guess that judgment:

The Federal Reserve Act (FRA) empowers the President of the United States to appoint (by and with the advice and consent of the Senate) the members of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. 12 U.S.C. § 241. Those Governors serve for fixed terms, “unless sooner removed for cause by the President.” Id. § 242. The statute thus expressly contemplates that, even setting aside his Article II authority over principal officers, the President retains broad discretion to remove a Governor for “cause.”

Citing Reagan v. United States (1901) and Dalton v. Specter (1994), they write “Where a statute commits decisionmaking to the discretion of the President, judicial review of the President’s decision is not available,” therefore Cook cannot get a temporary restraining order allowing her to stay in her job.

DNIGabbard said on Wednesday that she was referring former President Barack Obama for criminal charges to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

“We have referred and will continue to refer all these documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI to investigate the criminal implications of this,” Gabbard said.

“The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment,” she continued.

So he was in charge of going after Trump on top of trying to ruin America, paying off terrorists in Iran and is doing a poor job of staying in the closet.

Now, maybe justice will be served to the asshole of the week, Adam Schiff.

In a shocking new development, President Donald Trump’s longtime political adversary, Democrat Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), is facing criminal prosecution after a bombshell referral from the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) over alleged mortgage fraud spanning years.

The FHFA has formally alerted the Department of Justice (DOJ) of the evidence, triggering an investigation into Schiff’s actions following a series of mortgage-related allegations.

Schiff, who was elected to the Senate in 2024 after years of serving as a House lawmaker, is under intense scrutiny after Trump announced the charges earlier this week.

It was revealed that between 2003 and 2019, Schiff may have falsified documents related to his Maryland-based property to secure more favorable loan terms.

The property in question is located in Potomac, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C.

According to the FHFA’s referral, Schiff allegedly manipulated bank documents and property records, a clear violation of federal housing rules.

The details of the case are particularly troubling.

Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) said Saturday on MSNBC’s “The Weekend” that President Donald Trump was implementing mass deportation in an attempt to “bleach America.”

Wasserman Schultz said, “Again, more Trump lies, more people being thrown into a dire situation where many of them will ultimately die when they’re deported back to countries like Venezuela and Haiti, which clearly don’t have conditions in which it is safe or a place that has the environment to take people back. In Haiti, that is a country that is overrun by gangs and essentially is a failed state, and in Venezuela, you have the Maduro regime, which is a narco state. I mean, Maduro is under federal indictment here in the United States. How could it possibly be safe to send 500,000 Venezuelans when he revoked their humanitarian parole and TPS from Venezuelans and from half a million Haitians?”

She added, “This is a situation in which they want to bleach America. You heard what Miller said. He is a vile human being. What they’re doing in the Everglades on incredibly sensitive land, environmentally sensitive land that was so sensitive that in the 1970s, they abandoned the plan to put a huge airport on that property. They are violating sacred tribal lands—no consultation with the Miccosukees. We’re in the middle of hurricane season. Look at that infrastructure that you’re showing right now that will blow away like matchsticks if a hurricane comes, and they’re either going to waste money on trying to rush through an evacuation, or people are going to die.”

On Friday, Outkick reported the Champlin Park Rebels are now state champions after defeating Bloomington Jefferson in a 6–0 shutout at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium at the University of Minnesota.

The Rebels put Marissa Rothenberger – a male who is “trans” – on the mound where he capped off the Minnesota State High School League tournament with only allowing three hits in the shutout.

Rothenberger pitched for twenty-one innings across three games in the tournament, only giving up two runs. He also pitched for fourteen shutout innings in sectionals to help Champlin Park make the tournament.

Champlin Park clearly recognized the advantage of having a male athlete in the game as they never put their other pitcher Ava Abrahamson on the mound.

It’s just more proof of a fact many people refuse to admit: most women simply aren’t cut out for the brutal demands of frontline police work. And that’s not a dig; it’s biology.

Men and women are different. That used to be a common sense statement before it became a hate crime. But instead of embracing those differences and building a stronger society around complementary roles, we’re watching the system collapse under the weight of forced equity… and nobody suffers more than the women being shoved into roles they’re not equipped to handle. They’re being set up to fail. And boy, are they failing.

“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter,” Joe Biden wrote in a statement on December 1, 2024.

Starting in 2019, the indictment states that Kehoe created a network that supplied 160 unauthorized electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards to stores across the New York area, to illegally process more than $30 million in EBT transactions.

“This fraud was made possible when USDA employee Arlasa Davis betrayed the public trust by selling confidential government information to the very criminals she was supposed to catch. Their actions undermined a program that vulnerable New Yorkers depend on for basic nutrition,” U.S. Attorney Perry Carbone said in the media release.

After two and a half years of fighting both the EU and Belgian courts tooth and nail so that she won’t have to disclose her text messages with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla about vaccine negotiations—presumably to hide evidence in “the biggest corruption scandal in human history”—EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was delivered a painful blow by the EU Court of Justice on Wednesday, when it ruled that she did break transparency laws and annulled her decision to withhold the documents.

As a reminder, the texts were used to negotiate the procurement of 1.8 billion doses of Pfizer vaccines for around €35 billion, in addition to the purchase of another 2.8 billion doses from other manufacturers. That’s over 10 shots for every single European, worth over €70 billion in total. Barely more than one-fifth of those were ever administered, meaning the vast majority will inevitably end up in landfills.

Yet, despite the fact that it could be key to understanding this unimaginable waste of taxpayer funds, the ECJ ruling holds no immediate consequence with regard to the disclosure of the Pfizer texts. The Commission already stated that it won’t release them. Von der Leyen has two months to appeal the decision, and the process for a final ruling typically takes another 15 to 24 months. In other words, the public is not likely to see any of the texts for at least another one or two years—if ever.

This week was easy. The most self-absorbed and least deserving person of what she has practically announced she was the Asshole of the Week on her podcast. She contributed almost nothing except hate, racism, horrible tasting unhealthy lunches for school kids, and divisiveness. She sure as hell didn’t love the country.

Michelle Obama has finally revealed the real reason she skipped President Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration, and it’s every bit as shallow as you’d expect from someone of her caliber.

In a recent episode of her podcast she co-hosts with her brother, “IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson,” she admitted that her absence wasn’t just about principle — it was about her wardrobe.

She had the audacity to say, “It started with not having anything to wear.”

Let that sink in. A former first lady, with access to the best designers in the world, claims she couldn’t attend an historic event because she didn’t have the right outfit.

This is the second time Michelle’s absence has been justified, and it’s somehow worse than the first attempt, when her team leaked that she’s “not one to plaster on a pleasant face and pretend for protocol’s sake.”

That excuse was bad enough, reeking of self-righteousness, but this new wardrobe confession takes her hubris to a whole new level of absurdity.

She doubled down on her vanity, saying, “I mean, I had affirmatively, cause I’m always prepared for any funeral, anything.”

So, she’s prepared for funerals — events that honor the dead — but a presidential inauguration, a cornerstone of the American republic, isn’t worth the effort?

Her reasoning gets even more infuriating as she explains, “I walk around with the right dress, I travel with clothes just in case something pops off.”

This isn’t just vanity — it’s a calculated display of privilege, where she admits to always being ready for appearances, but not for duty.

She continued, “So I was like, if I’m not going to do this thing, I got to tell my team, I don’t even want to have a dress ready, right? Because it’s so easy to just say, let me do the right thing.”

The “right thing” here would have been showing up, setting aside personal disdain for the sake of her country, but Michelle couldn’t be bothered.

The latest Blue Origin space mission sparked a wave of conspiracy theories on X this past week. However, one verifiable fact stands out: the all-female crew—some of whom are part of the Hollywood leftist cult—were technically not “astronauts.”

“We just completed our 11th human spaceflight and the 31st flight of the New Shepard program. The astronaut crew included Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn, Gayle King, Katy Perry, Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sánchez,” Blue Origin wrote on X earlier last week. 

Late Friday night, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy addressed and dismissed the misinformation and disinformation circulated by Blue Origin and leftist MSM, stating:

The U.S. commercial space industry is an inspiring project which showcases American ingenuity and exceptionalism. But the last FAA guidelines under the Commercial Space Astronaut Wings Program were clear: Crewmembers who travel into space must have “demonstrated activities during flight that were essential to public safety, or contributed to human space flight safety.”

The crew who flew to space this week on an automated flight by Blue Origin were brave and glam, but you cannot identify as an astronaut. They do not meet the FAA astronaut criteria.

Or Bernie Sanders, noted communist who pulled this gem, Sanders Spent $221K on Private Jets While ‘Fighting Oligarchy’. He has over 2 million in houses now and is living a good capitalist life while talking it down.

But no, it was Katy Perry who took a fully automated ride which is a step above a ride at Disney, and acted like she saved the world. Instead of admiring the creation and the beauty of space, she turned it on herself. She sang a song and screamed like a school girl for an 11 minute ride of which only 4 were actually close to being in space. It was supposed to empower feminism. Instead, it showed the foolishness of celebtards and girls who are famous for really nothing.

Its critic Amanda Hess said, “the Soviet Union cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space when she made a solo trip to the Earth’s orbit in 1963.

“Tereshkova spent three days in space, circled the Earth 48 times and landed an international celebrity and feminist icon.”

That was more than 60 years ago.

If this flight is to have any world-historical significance, it will be for achieving previously uncharted levels of tastelessness. The televised event produced Fleming’s best line, “For the first time in the history of flight, barf bags were needed for spectators on the ground.”

It was easy this week.

Democrat and Texas representative Jasmine Crockett is facing significant criticism online this week, after delivering a speech at a Human Rights Campaign event in which she called Texas governor Greg Abbott, who is a wheelchair user, “Hot Wheels”.

Abbott is paralysed from the waist down following an incident in 1984, where a tree fell on his back while the politician – then 26 years old – was out on a jog.

Several crushed vertebrae splintered into his spinal cord as a result of the injury, and he also suffered broken ribs and “damage to vital organs”. He will continue to have two steel rods near his spine for the rest of his life.

Referencing Abbott, Crockett said: “Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now.

“And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey.”

The truth for me though is she is so ignorant and turns so many people off of the leftards that I hope she keeps it up. Let the whole country see who they really are

Yannow, Disney has destroyed almost everything it’s touched with Woke. Star Wars, Marvel, the classic movies, the Tragic Kingdom, Indiana Jones, all of it.

Now, they are panicking over Snow White. For that and how they’ve ruined all my favorite entertainment in just a few short years, they are the AOTW. I could have made it just Rachel Zeigler for what she did to Snow White, but it’s everything Disney touches.

All signs are pointing to a box office catastrophe for Disney’s new Snow White, and Hollywood is in full-blown panic mode. It’s not just Disney feeling the heat—Tinseltown, already drowning in a sea of big-budget flops, can’t afford another messy release. But that’s exactly what’s coming, as early signs suggest this woke remake is heading straight for a long, grim, and very unprofitable sleep.

Of course, casting a Hispanic liberal to play a white, German fairytale icon was one of Disney’s dumbest moves—right up there with ditching the dwarfs for diversity hire hobos, only to backtrack and digitally add the little guys later. What a mess.

Who could forget Rachel Zegler’s personal mission to literally trash Snow White’s original story—rewriting Prince Charming as some kind of #MeToo-type stalker?

The movie, now set to open nation-wide on March 21st, is in free fall, starting with the bizarre premiere, which was altered from start to finish, in order to avoid more anti-woke backlash.

Much effort was made to force the original tale into the contemporary moral mould of antebellum America. Now, as Disney braces for the release of its new live-action adaptation on Friday, a similar process is underway. This time, the sanitising is motivated by its star, Rachel Zegler, who has navigated the press junket so disastrously that studio bosses relocated a London premiere to a remote Spanish castle for fear of “anti-woke backlash”. All this was set in motion by Zegler’s comments in 2022, that the original film had followed Snow White’s “love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird.” Taking a further chomp at the hand which was so generously feeding her, she added: “I think I watched it once and never picked it up again.” This time around, Zegler promised, Snow White would not be dreaming “about true love”, but “about becoming the leader she knows she can be”, a phrase which single-handedly tanked the $270-million film’s predicted box-office performance.

Disney is making the same fatal mistake that sunk Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret—abandoning the fantasy that made them successful in the first place. Once upon a time, Disney’s core message was very simple: fairytales really do come true. Beautiful, right? And that’s the magic people bought into. But just like SI and VS ditched the dream of aspirational beauty—swapping out beautiful bombshells for below-average fat chicks—Disney is tossing out the timeless romance of a prince on a white horse, rescuing a woman in distress. Instead, they’re choking us to death with some contrived “girl power” nonsense that lacks charm, romance, or magic—ironically, all the things that made Disney movies beloved in the first place. The Unherd piece goes on:

Disney’s dalliances with “wokeness” are well documented, and tiresome. In 2023, its casting of the black actress Halle Bailey as Ariel in The Little Mermaid sparked outrage, much of it racist. Its megabucks Marvel franchise has attracted similar opprobrium. The conversation around Snow White, however, is summarised by outrage from the warriors of Mumsnet, who insist “there’s nothing wrong with dreaming of marriage”, and “I don’t understand why a man loving a woman is bad at all!” The lens of criticism is so relentlessly trained on the film’s feminism or lack of it that the underlying assumption is taken for granted: that mass-market cinema must contain a message, and that its plots can be used as a weathervane for contemporary sexual or racial politics.

Disney thought it was making history by embracing girl power and riding the wave of a so-called “progressive movement.” But here’s the problem—they got high on their own supply. They didn’t stop to realize that this wasn’t some organic, world-changing revolution. It was a manufactured guilt trip, pushed by Hollywood elites desperate to atone for the filth and perversion they’ve let fester in their own backyards. What Disney completely missed is that the rest of America doesn’t live in that filth. We’re just normal people who love escaping into a beautiful fantasy—romance, adventure, and the feel-good magic that made Disney iconic in the first place.

So, the crisis and the box office collapse? It’s well-earned. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bunch of out-of-touch jerks.

Taken on its own merit, a movie premiere is pretty much incapable of dictating a film’s box-office fate. But according to rival studio executives and film marketers canvassed by Vulture, certain premieres can provide tantalizing indications of what’s to come. Disney’s red-carpet restrictions — taken in conjunction with the studio’s unorthodox decision to begin preselling tickets to Snow White via online retailers like Fandango and Atom Tickets a mere 11 days before its release — paint a picture of a movie in crisis. Under normal circumstances, an event title with almost a century of household-name recognition and a $450 million price tag (when you include prints and advertising costs) would begin selling tickets at least a month in advance. “That’s data. The only reason why they would start presales that late is they are worried people would write about, Oh, man, the tickets are on sale and they’re not doing well,” an executive at another major studio says of Disney. “That and scrapping the red carpet tell me a story. It’s almost like they’re running away from the movie. And at this budget, that’s kind of crazy.”

Of course, few movies arrive onscreen with as much cultural Sturm und Drang as director Marc Webb’s megabudget contemporization of 1937’s epochal Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Its bibliography of outrage includes: anti-diversity outcry in 2021 that greeted the casting of mixed-race Latina actress Zegler as its titular heroine (whose skin is described as “white as snow” in the original animated film); Peter Dinklage lambasting the film’s perceived insensitivity toward little people — specifically, its “fucking backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave”; Zegler’s 2023 multi-interview characterization of the original Snow White as “extremely dated when it comes to the idea of women in roles of power” and “focus on a love story with a guy who literally stalks her” (she also noted, “People are making these jokes about ours being the PC Snow White, where it’s like, yeah, it is — because it needed that”); and seemingly conflicting views of the Israel-Hamas war by Zegler (who has described herself as “pro-Palestine”) and Gadot (who served in the Israeli Defense Forces and used her keynote speech at a recent Anti-Defamation League summit to denounce those not “condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying, and cheering on a massacre of Jews”).

The biggest problem for Snow White, though, is Zelger’s attack on Trump supporters, and something she and the film can likely not rebound from. Add to that, the utter crash and burn of Disney’s other “woke” box office flop, “Captain America,” starring a black guy, whose only purpose was to check a DEI box for the industry. America, said, “No thanks.” The Vulture piece goes on.

Perhaps most problematic for Disney’s marketing apparatus, however, was then-23-year-old Zegler’s anguished reaction to President Trump’s election in November. “May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Fuck Donald Trump.” After supporters of the president responded on social media with postings such as, “Not taking my kids to see this trash after the statement you put out. @disney you need to do something about this” and “I hope you get no peace when this film BOMBS at the box office and streaming,” Zegler issued a hasty apology. But some rival studio executives ultimately feel the Mouse House made a tactical mistake in casting the outspoken Romeo + Juliet actress and failing to rein her in. “The reality is Rachel Zegler should not be playing Snow White,” one tells me.

Snow White makes theatrical landfall at something of a corporate inflection point for Disney. Last month’s Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Captain America: Brave New World has underperformed financially, becoming one of the long-running franchise’s lowest-earning titles.

On Wednesday, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) made headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a blatant display of disloyalty, he voted ‘no’ on Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation to become the next director of national intelligence. While the Senate ultimately approved her appointment with a narrow 52-48 vote, McConnell stood alone as the sole Republican saboteur against a qualified nominee whom President Trump put forward.

The Republican-controlled Senate voted nearly entirely along party lines to confirm Kennedy. The final showdown over his controversial nomination was set in motion hours earlier, after another party-line vote on Wednesday afternoon which started the clock ticking toward the confirmation roll call.

Kennedy, the well-known vaccine skeptic and environmental crusader who ran for the White House in 2024 before ending his bid and endorsing Trump, needed a simple majority to be confirmed by the Senate.

Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was the only Republican to vote against Kennedy’s nomination. McConnell, the former longtime GOP Senate leader, suffered from polio as a child and is a major proponent of vaccines.

David Hogg is for defunding police

Newly elected Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg has previously called on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to be abolished and for the defunding of police.

Then, there is John Brennen who did everything they say he did against America and Trump:

The more we learn about John Brennan and the other swamp creatures, aka the 50 intelligence agents who signed off on the Hunter Biden laptop letter, the more we understand why and support Trump removing their security clearance. For years, we felt as if we were the crazies talking about the deep state and how they were working to control our elections but now that everything is out in the open, we’re finding that perhaps we weren’t so crazy after all.

Especially when you see leaked emails like this one where Brennan admits everything they were doing was to help Biden.

With all of these deserving assholes, there is still worse.

As far as being out of touch, disillusioned, and for this post, the asshole of the week it’s none other than Maxine Waters

Conservatives on social media blasted Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., after she and other Democrats protesting President Donald Trump attempted to enter the Department of Education building in Washington, D.C., while accosting a security guard in the process. 

Thirty House Democrats attempted to enter the Department of Education building on Friday morning to meet with acting Education Secretary Denise L. Carter regarding Trump’s plans to significantly downsize or even eliminate the department, but they were stopped by security.

Video of the Democrats attempting to convince the visibly uninterested security guard to let them in quickly spread on social media, sparking strong pushback from conservatives.

Waters and other Democrats could be seen on video berating the security guard, repeatedly asking for his ID, and telling him to look at the camera, so viewers could see his face.

She’s a racist and an attention whore. At least she is old and will go away soon, one way or another.
