I can hear it now. Tell everyone three things about yourself
Compounding it would be a networking event. Dear God, why do they put is through that.
I’ve never remembered anything that someone told about themselves, even if it was extremely clever, which some have been. They won’t remember about me either.
When will the world stop trying to fit everyone into the same box. I hate this exercise and avoid groups to just not have to go through it.
At least have the courtesy to say you don’t have to go through this if it offends you. No one cares about our feelings and being put on the spot is as bad as it gets sometimes.
Extroverts love this as they get the rush of dopamine when they can talk about themselves to others. I don’t think they really care what I or they say, so why do we have to do this?
It is a center of indoctrination of liberalism and now antisemitism, rather than an elite Ivy League institution of learning.
Look what the students have done now.
Over 30 Harvard student organizations released an open letter Sunday in support of Palestine, calling Israel an “apartheid regime” and blaming the “Israeli colonial occupation” for causing the brutal Hamas terrorist attacks that killed over 900 Israelis, including unarmed women and children, according to an Instagram post. Gay released a statement Tuesday saying that student groups don’t speak for Harvard and also saying they have a “right to speak,” according to a press release.
It’s not just Harvard, but fortunately a major investor wants to call out these intellectual retards and Nazi acting students so that they don’t get hired by companies.
Bill Ackman, billionaire hedge fund manager, wrote on Twitter that students who signed the Harvard letter should have their names released, so that companies know not to hire them.
“If, in fact, their members support the letter they have released, the names of the signatories should be made public so their views are publicly known,” Ackman tweeted.
It’s hard to imagine anyone believing the Government, Big Pharma or that the Covid Vaccine works. It’s been one lie after another including the ones about Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine don’t work on Covid. Another one is that the jab somehow prevents Covid, which it doesn’t.
It’s a coronavirus (cold) that 99.7% of the people survive, unlike the jab that kills far more people.
Yet here it is. SMH. These are the sheep that line up for the slaughter.
More than 7 million Americans had rolled up their sleeves for the updated COVID-19 vaccines as of Wednesday, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, despite reports that some people are still finding it difficult to book vaccination appointments or find the shots at no cost.
The updated vaccines from Moderna or Pfizer and BioNTech are single-target shots aimed at the XBB.1.5 omicron subvariant of the coronavirus, which was the dominant variant in the U.S. for much of this year but has since been overtaken as the virus continues to evolve.
Millions of doses of another updated COVID vaccine from Novavax have also been made available to Americans this week, according to the company.
Distribution of the Pfizer and Moderna shots began after the U.S. Centers for the Disease Control and Prevention recommended them on Sept. 12.
Last year’s booster targeting the original virus and another variant was rolled out about 10 days earlier. By Sept. 28, 2022, almost 7.6 million Americans had received the updated shots.
U.S. public health officials have been optimistic that Americans will get the new vaccines and have recommended that everyone ages 6 months and older receive one.
But demand has dropped sharply since 2021, when the shots were first introduced at the height of the pandemic.
About 17% of the U.S. population, or 56.5 million people, ultimately received last year’s version of the vaccines.
A fifth column is any group of people who undermine a larger group or nation from within, usually in favor of an enemy group or another nation. According to Harris Mylonas and Scott Radnitz, “fifth columns” are “domestic actors who work to undermine the national interest, in cooperation with external rivals of the state.” The activities of a fifth column can be overt or clandestine.
Here is what is going on. The facts below connect the dots as to who is trying to destroy America from within. Another country probably can’t destroy us yet, but they are doing everything they can to subvert us from within and buy off politicians to create destructive policies.
Yes, there are massive geopolitical interests at stake in the Hamas attack against Israel. Yes, there are layers and layers of massive multinational corporate investments into the process of energy control, capture and change that is driven by competing interests. Yes, those trillions at stake are playing out in the world from Iran to Israel, to Ukraine, to Russia, to Azerbaijan, to Turkey, to Africa, and beyond. {Go Deep}
Yes, all of the political and state actors are playing a role and using their military resources as part of the positioning process. China, Russia, Iran, The United States, Europe, NATO, etc, all positioning and in the background trillions upon trillions being discussed and fought for. Yes, the ultimate high stakes public-private partnerships are leveraging everything right now…..
The ideological interests behind the 2010/ ’11 “Arab Spring” uprising were the same ideological interests behind the 2020 “Black Lives Matter” protests/uprising. Not merely similar people, but the exact same people.
The exact same group of U.S. people who were promoting the Mid-East Arab Spring in 2010/’11, are the same people who promoted the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. The same politicians, the same media voices, the same newspapers, the same social media activists. Almost every participant, and their support for the uprising ’10 -vs- ’20 was identical, including the platforms deployed.
The Brotherhood is essentially the umbrella organization for a multitude of Islamic factions. In essence, the Muslim Brotherhood represents political Islam. Similarly, if you look at the structure of Black Lives Matter, they too represent an umbrella-type structure for a network of individual political grievance groups.
Both groups, the Muslim Brotherhood (aka Hamas) and Black Lives Matter, represent a cultural revolution by the results of their activity.
It is not accidental that BLM brotherhood supports the Palestinian terrorist network represented by Hamas.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood had al-Qaeda and militant factions within ISIS. In 2020, BLM had the New Black Panthers and militant factions within Antifa.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood tore down statues and symbols they identified as culturally oppressive to their political views. In 2020, BLM tore down statues and symbols they identified as oppressive to their political views.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood burned books, destroyed history and removed their cultural opposition by force. In 2020, BLM promoted burning books, destroying history and cancelling their cultural opposition by force.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood used social media to organize their political activity, and Big Tech facilitated by setting up local networks for protest. In 2020, BLM used social media to organize their political media, and Big Tech facilitated by deploying all local networks to assist.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood attacked the police and framed their Islamist movement as oppressed by law enforcement. In 2020, BLM attacked the police and framed their movement as oppressed by law enforcement.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood destroyed the notions of secularism and viciously attacked any form of Christianity, including burning churches. In 2020, BLM advocated against secularism and viciously attacked Christianity – including the burning of churches, while conspicuously never criticizing any element of Islam.
♦ In 2010, the Brotherhood was very strategic, as they hoodwinked moderate Islamic supporters into voting them into power. Once in power, they removed all of the institutional systems, government offices, judges, constitutional balances, local elections, and anything that would impede their ultimate stranglehold on power. Sharia Law replaced common legislative law. As a result, the ordinary population was brutalized, property was taken by force; businesses were taken by force and the Islamic regime now controlled every element of their lives.

Biden sends Iran $6 Billion to show good faith. In reality, it is a weak government trying to buy off the terrorists. Nevertheless, look what the Iranians did in the background during the negotiations. They planned and funded the attack on Israel with that money
Happening now – Iran yelling “Death to America!” I guess $6 BILLION WASN’T ENOUGH! pic.twitter.com/6zmmYOhP7e
In Jerusalem, 2017 began with a terrorist ramming a truck into Israeli cadets who were getting off the bus. Four of the Israelis, three of them women, were killed, and over a dozen more were injured. Fadi al-Qanbar, the terrorist, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers, but his widow was set to receive a lifetime monthly pension of 2,900 Israeli shekels from the Palestinian Authority for his crime.[i] The average salary in the West Bank is 1,720 NIS. Even though the terrorist had allegedly been inspired by ISIS,[ii] the Palestinian Authority media had described him as a “Shahid” or religious martyr for Islam.[iii] Despite this latest act, which demonstrated the linkage between our foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority, Islamic terrorism, even terrorism related to ISIS, and the murder of Israelis, the money kept coming. A few weeks after the mass murder of Israelis in Jerusalem, the Obama administration rushed to transfer $221 million in funds to the Palestinian Authority that Republicans had been blocking.[iv]
Hours before President Trump was inaugurated, Secretary of State John Kerry rushed the money to the terrorists. What kind of a difference would that $221 million make? The Palestinian Authority’s Martyrs Fund budget for 2017 allocated $153 million in salaries to terrorists who had been or were imprisoned by Israel and another $190 million to the families of the terrorists.[v] The $221 million amounted to a sizable percentage of the “Pay to Slay” budget that was used to incentivize murders like these. And it paid off. The number of Israelis killed in terrorist attacks increased in 2017.[vi] The number of lone wolf attack plots rose from 400 to 1,100. And the Martyrs Fund was a key mechanism for incentivizing these attacks, assuring surviving terrorists of a generous lifetime income and, in the event of their deaths, giving them the comfort of knowing that no matter what happens, their families will be very well taken care of.
In 2016, the Obama administration had illegally transferred $1.7 billion to Iran.[xi] The deputy chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed credit for the ransom.[xii] The IRGC is a hub of Islamic terrorism in the region and was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by President Trump.[xiii] “We can always hand it over to someone who can hand it over to the IRGC,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner admitted.[xiv] Meanwhile the Obama administration had even tried to give Iran access to the United States financial system, converting billions into dollars and then euros.[xv] After the $1.7 billion payment, Iran increased its military budget by that same amount.[xvi] It’s been estimated that 65 percent of the military budget goes to the IRGC.[xvii]
And the IRGC funds, trains, and aids a variety of Islamic terrorist groups, including Hamas. That includes the missiles that Hamas has been firing at Israel and that have fallen on Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.[xviii] The billions in sanctions relief allowed Iran to increase its investment in conflicts in the region.[xix] In 2017, Hamas announced that it had resumed receiving aid from Iran.[xx] In 2019, Iran boosted aid to Hamas from $70 million a year to $30 million a month.[xxi] Beyond Hamas, Iran also backs Islamic Jihad (PIJ), which was at the center of the latest round of rocket attacks on Israel in the fall of 2019. These rockets were, like Hamas’s rockets, developed with the assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The extent of Iran’s involvement in Islamic terrorism in Israel can be measured by an admission by Ali Akbar Velayati, foreign affairs adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran that, “most of the weapons used by the Palestinians came from Iran, or that Iran help[ed] the Palestinians manufacture the weapons themselves.”[xxii]
The Biden administration is setting a booby trap in case a Republican wins the presidency in 2024.
On Friday, the White House unveiled a proposed rule that would make it even harder than in the past for an incoming Republican president to wrestle control of the left-leaning federal bureaucracy and actually implement the conservative policies promised to voters.
Of the 2.2 million federal civil workers, only 4,000 are presidential appointees. The rest stay in their jobs, from one administration to the next, protected by rules that make it nearly impossible to discipline or replace them.
They overwhelmingly favor the Left. A staggering 95% of unionized federal employees who donate to political candidates give to Democrats, according to Open Secrets. Only a tiny 5% support Republicans.
If Nobel prizes couldn’t get more ridiculous, Harvard and Gender Studies brings you this:
The Harvard professor Claudia Goldin has won the Nobel economics prize in recognition of her groundbreaking work examining wage inequality between men and women.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said on Monday that Goldin’s research “provided the first comprehensive account of women’s earnings and labour market participation through the centuries” to reveal “the causes of change, as well as the main sources of the remaining gender gap”.
She becomes only the third woman to win the prize, after Elinor Ostrom in 2009 and Esther Duflo in 2019. The prestigious award is worth 11m Swedish kronor (£819,000).
Wage inequality is liberal speak for men are bad because they work hard to support their families. Females who don’t take time off to raise a family are earning the same. It is victimhood 101.
You can read the rest of the story here, but it is so stupid that I couldn’t be bothered to copy anymore. Both Harvard and the Nobel Committee continue to delve to new depths of meaninglessness. Both are a farce and have lost any creditability they once had. They gave Obama a Peace Prize before he’d done anything. He turned right around and bombed Libya, Afghanistan and drone killed a lot of people.
The controversy surrounding race hustler and grifter Ibram Kendi keeps taking intriguing turns. A few weeks ago, news emerged that Kendi’s race-baiting non-profit was facing financial troubles, with a significant amount of funds unaccounted for. Currently, an investigation is underway regarding the substantial sum of missing money, totaling millions of dollars, in fact and Kendi is at the center of it all.
Under investigation at Kendi’s center are issues related to “culture and grant management practices,” a Boston University spokesperson told The National Desk (TND) Thursday. The center, which was founded shortly after the murder of George Floyd in 2020, has raised tens of millions of dollars to finance a number of projects, including graduate programs, a racial disparities database and a media venture.
While some of these projects have come to completion, others have not, including the database, which some have described as the “centerpiece” of the organization.
“I don’t know where the money is,” a Boston University professor who previously worked at the center told The Boston Globe.
Well, now we may know where a huge chunk of that money went. It turns out that a large portion was going to Kendi’s family. Back in September 2020, right after Ibram X. Kendi established the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, the university approved a $600,000 mortgage for an undisclosed professor. While the recipient’s identity remains a university secret, the funds were allocated to a trust that was managed by Kendi’s brother-in-law, Macharia Edmonds. Things that make you go hmmm, right? This massive mortgage was for a luxurious $4.56 million penthouse triplex, Public real estate records confirm Macharia Edmonds – the brother-in-law is control over the trust. He was also a former Obama campaign official, of course.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson preceded him by telling corporations that they would call them racists if they didn’t pay them extortion money. It is grifting for money based on hate and lying.
None of these three have advanced the betterment of POC. They were lining their pockets based on a lie.
Racism is racism and color doesn’t matter. It is intent. These men perverted what could have been done to help people for their own benefit and sold out their own race.
An Italian girl I knew sarcastically told me that their country discovered America.
What really happened is that people have been living on most of the continents for ages, and it was a surprise to find them. Countries explored and conquered all the time until relatively recently given the history of the world.
That is why it’s bullshit that somehow America was discovered in 1492. America as the United States was created around 1776, but people had been moving around, establishing cultures that died out either naturally or by conquest. It happens. That’s why indigenous people day is also nonsense.
So biker girl, Columbus stumbled upon a place they didn’t know about, while sailing the wrong direction and looking for something else. Take credit for pizza instead.
Traditionally, researchers believed that humans arrived in North America around 16,000 to 13,000 years ago. Recently, however, evidence has accumulated supporting a much earlier date. In 2021, fossilized footprints from White Sands National Park in New Mexico were dated to between 20,000 and 23,000 years ago, providing key evidence for earlier occupation, although this finding was controversial. Pigati et al. returned to the White Sands footprints and obtained new dates from multiple, highly reliable sources (see the Perspective by Philippsen). They, too, resolved dates of 20,000 to 23,000 years ago, reconfirming that humans were present far south of the ice sheets during the Last Glacial Maximum. —Sacha Vignieri
Human footprints at White Sands National Park, New Mexico, USA, reportedly date to between ~23,000 and 21,000 years ago according to radiocarbon dating of seeds from the aquatic plant Ruppia cirrhosa. These ages remain controversial because of potential old carbon reservoir effects that could compromise their accuracy. We present new calibrated 14C ages of terrestrial pollen collected from the same stratigraphic horizons as those of the Ruppia seeds, along with optically stimulated luminescence ages of sediments from within the human footprint–bearing sequence, to evaluate the veracity of the seed ages. The results show that the chronologic framework originally established for the White Sands footprints is robust and reaffirm that humans were present in North America during the Last Glacial Maximum.
Of course the joke of my family, Marian,a niece by marriage in Denmark thinks Elizabeth Warren is the “bomb”. The retards are on my wife’s side of the family
Countries should never negotiate with terrorists. If you give an inch, they will want more and are never satisfied. If you give anything, the other country has the upper hand. They can smell weak leaders a mile away.
Biden gave the Iranians 7 billion in funds released in one of the worst hostage deals ever. It is as bad as Obama sending pallets of money to Iran in the night, bypassing Congress and everything the US stands for.
According to credible reports, most of the hostages in Gaza are women and children — the men they have killed. There are also reports that the terrorists went house to house raping women in Sderot and are raping the Israeli women in Gaza.
It’s no surprise then that Hamas, the proxy for Iran attacked Israel this weekend. They are now funded for war and both (either Hamas/Iran or Democrats/Iran) hate Israel and the Jews.
Update:
The WSJ is reporting that Iran helped plan the attack on Israel in Beirut, Lebanon and gave the go ahead for the attack last Monday.
Meanwhile the Biden administration is claiming they have seen no evidence that Iran was involved.
Here’s more:
Iranian security officials helped plan Hamas’s Saturday surprise attack on Israel and gave the green light for the assault at a meeting in Beirut last Monday, according to senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah, another Iran-backed militant group.
Officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had worked with Hamas since August to devise the air, land and sea incursions—the most significant breach of Israel’s borders since the 1973 Yom Kippur War—those people said.
Details of the operation were refined during several meetings in Beirut attended by IRGC officers and representatives of four Iran-backed militant groups, including Hamas, which holds power in Gaza, and Hezbollah, a Shiite militant group and political faction in Lebanon, they said.
WSJ
Report: Hamas Drones Used in Surprise Attack Bear ‘Iranian Fingerprints’
The Hamas and Palestinian terrorists have taken a number of children, elderly women and soldiers hostage. The Mainstream Media will not show you the true carnage – the atrocities committed by these savages. There are reports of at least 3 dozen female soldiers being kidnapped. Watch the videos below and look at the photographs. See for yourself the Satanic evil that invaded Israel early this morning. They literally dragged the dead bodies of soldiers through the streets. They slaughtered families inside their homes. You will be sickened by what you are about to see.
America was helping the middle east until this payoff by Biden:
These Hamas attacks are a disgrace and Israel has every right to defend itself with overwhelming force. Sadly, American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks, which many reports are saying came from the Biden Administration. We brought so much peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, only to see Biden whittle it away at a far more rapid pace than anyone thought possible. Here we go again. – Trump
This editorializing is mine. I don’t think females should be soldiers. They are not as strong and present a much greater threat of abuse when captured.
The Muslim terrorists from Iran and Hamas rape and desecrate the bodies of females as part of their culture. We shouldn’t subject our women to that. Instead, we should give them a helping of the baddest and toughest ass kickers we have.
2024 elections are around the corner. How about electing some strong leaders who are for protecting people instead of giving blood money to terrorists screaming allahu akbar. we need people who will have the guts to make strong decisions, instead of being compromised by bribes and bought off, something in every branch of our system.
Oh, and stop giving the terrorists anymore money. They’ll just attack us every time.
My mom told me I had to stick with my family and put up with gatherings because they are blood. She was right on most things in life, but not this one.
I look at them like I look at most people. If we were friends or wanted to see each other, we’d get together. Now, it’s just weddings and funerals, and I avoid those if possible. I missed the last one that made me the patriarch of both sides of the family now. That’s not a burden I relish or will give any attention too.
Besides avoiding both sides of my family whenever possible, my wife’s family doesn’t live in my country, so I have it easy there. They sit around and trash the US to feel morally superior so I don’t want to be a part of that.
Best of all, I stopped drinking a while back. Most of them drink a lot when they are together, so I don’t get invited to almost everything. I think I make them feel uncomfortable. They are happier to be around people who drink a lot without feeling guilty. I don’t get invited and it’s one of life’s blessings.
I treat others like they treat me. Fortunately, most of them don’t want to talk and I keep my head as low as possible so I don’t get in their line of fire.
Still, leaving is always my favorite part of getting together, family or otherwise.
If they still believe the Covid vaccine actually works on the population least likely to get sick from it, you shouldn’t waste money sending kids there. They proved they don’t believe the facts or science.
No College Mandates, an advocacy group that argues against the Covid-19 vaccine for higher education, counts 79 colleges and universities that require their students to be vaccinated this fall semester.
“There are 79 colleges in the US still mandating COVID vaccines when there should be zero just like the rest of the world. Do Not Comply!” No College Mandates posted on X.
The advocacy group said “COVID injections for one of the lowest risk populations” is “insanity.” They added higher education has “zero efficacy and safety data for the the newly approved COVID injections. It is incomprehensible that this remains a reality.”
Many of these schools mandating Covid vaccines are situated in or around Democratic-controlled metro areas (map courtesy of X user Broken Truth).
If you are curious about which colleges have lifted mandates, the group has published a spreadsheet listing those institutions (read: here).
The world and the media and especially Social Media is trying to tell you how to live, what to say, what is politically correct and so forth. It’s so much shit that you don’t know which way to turn.
I’m finding that staying to myself makes it easier. I don’t have to fit into the world’s definitions of what I should be doing instead of what I want to do. It used to be a lot easier before the Karen’s and Chad’s tried to build their power base by judging others. I got fed up enough of that crap with the high school childish games we suffered through.
I decided to grow up and make my own rules. It’s because I’m an introvert and didn’t do stuff like get the Covid Jab. I’m not as accepted for what I believe, but like Groucho Marx said, I’d never belong to a club that would have me as a member. It’s made my life a lot easier.
This is the way they want you to behave on social media now. I had to eliminate that to not drive myself nuts. I got the added benefit of not having to find out what others did to try and make themselves feel better when they got likes. My favorite benefit was re-losing people I was able to move on earlier in life. They found me on social media, but I already removed them once for a reason.
The way I looked at it, if I wanted to stay connected (or we wanted to together) we would have. Not for likes. I guess I just don’t care enough what they did after we parted ways all those years ago. I got to lose family that made life difficult also.
I get some love to reconnect and rehash things, but I already did that in my private journal. If it was that good, I wouldn’t need social media to see what they ate or drank while doing stuff I didn’t care about.
This version of non English is how social media is. Almost non-sequitur.
With all the bullshit with the lying about the politicians and covering up by the media, if I get too involved with it, this happens to me
I can always revert to my introverted life and spend time alone with my thoughts and pets. That way people aren’t ruining my life as much.
If one train leaves LA going 60 MPH and another leaves NY going 50 MPH, how soon do they crash to get this answer that only happens once every 1000 years?
“Roll down the window.” Cars have had automatic windows for ages, making the manual rolling down of windows a thing of the past. I still say this, though, in my 1964 Mustang.
“Check the answering machine.” Voicemail on cellphones has obliterated the need for a physical answering machine. I think it’s super interesting Apple’s iOS 17 lets you listen while someone leaves a voicemail so you can decide to pick up. New? Hardly.
“Dial 411.” My mother designed the 411 directory system for Bell Labs. Now, just look someone up online and you have their digits.
“Beep me.” Pagers were all the rage once upon a time. Today, they’re used almost exclusively in healthcare or other specific industries.
“I’ll tape it.” You no longer “tape” shows with DVR and streaming services. You just hit “Record” on your device or catch it later on demand.
“Rewind” or “Fast-forward.” These phrases made perfect sense for cassettes and VHS tapes, and, yes, we still use them metaphorically, but you’re not actually winding anything.
“I need to find a payphone.” My dad used to make me carry a quarter just in case I needed to make a call. With a cellphone in nearly everyone’s pocket, payphones have become an urban relic.
“Get the film developed” or “Don’t waste the film.” Oh, the good old days of waiting to see a picture you looked horrible in. Digital cameras and smartphones have done away with this.
“Look it up in the White (or Yellow) Pages.” Online directories have replaced those hefty books.
“I’ll fax it to you.” Fax machines are just about dead. Warren Buffett once told me that’s the only way he’ll do contracts. Why? No one can hack a fax machine, unlike email.
I found this definition of intelligence when I was reading an article on why smart people got the mRNA Covid-19 Jab. For me, I knew it was a lie almost from the beginning. FWIW, my whole family, friends and acquaintances all got jabbed.
I’ve always believed that patterns are there if you look for them. It’s putting pieces of information together to develop a vision or a solution. It is the key to opening doors in life, or it has been for me. I’ve known too many people with high IQ’s, but no common sense or good decision making who were only book smart. Being intelligent is more than scoring high on a test.
Intelligence really just boils down to the ability to extract meaningful patterns from information. The more rapidly this can be done, the more complex the patterns that can be discerned, the higher the intelligence. As a rule this means that intelligent people are capable of learning more rapidly, since learning is itself essentially a pattern recognition process in which the meaningful is abstracted from the meaningless and therefore more easily stored away for future reference. Hence ‘crystallized intelligence’, the sum total of the information that someone has acquired over their life, is usually a reasonable guide to how intelligent someone is. Early IQ tests relied to a large degree on tests of knowledge for this reason, until researchers realized that this measure was useless for cross-cultural comparisons, including comparisons of subcultures that had differential access to educational materials, at which point they ultimately settled on pattern recognition tests as an objective measure.
I was listening to Steely Dan play My Old School, one of my theme songs. Click on it, it’s a great song.
I realized I went to school to grow up in life, not really to learn. I went to classes and did did stuff, but it was just a step in life I had to take first. My real education was when I got out and started in life. School was just learning how to learn, mostly what not to do. Life is a big picture that I saw. I knew I had to get through this time and had a need to have my success being in life, not following the crowd in my teens. I watched the cliques and instinctively knew I didn’t want to be held hostage by them. Even then, I just knew I was going to be a bigger success and do much more than any of them. Other than a few sports stars and a doctor here and there, it came true. It’s not really important to me as I expected it. It’s because I didn’t pin my identity to that time of my life.
Most of all, I didn’t get stuck in my hometown and got away from those who stayed in the mud pit of mediocrity.
I know some people never leave college and re-live school every Friday night or Saturday during football season, but I am fortunate to have Mauerbauertraurigheit. I never wanted to be a part of what they were. Maybe it was just the introvert in me coming out, but I moved on and the memories weren’t strong enough to make me long for that, ever.
I went to school with some people from kindergarten through the end of college, yet I never think of them as friends. Just going to the same school isn’t the basis for a relationship. I never wanted to be in their clubs or fraternity’s, even when I had the chance. They weren’t the type of people I wanted to be a part of. At a college party one time I told Brad Hurd, who I knew since kindergarten that my best life decision until then was not pledging his fraternity. It was just the same elementary, middle school and high school people that I instinctively knew weren’t going to be significant, or my friends.
I also remember college graduation. I thought to myself, I may never step foot back on this campus and 43 years later, I never have. I’d had enough of college life and wanted to grow up and experience new and different things. People I knew still get together and pretend they are still there, but I can’t bring myself to do it. It was a chapter in my life that has closed. Life expanded so much for me after I got out that I feel no connection with the people anymore.
I still have friends from that time, but it had nothing to do with school. We are friends because of our relationship, mutual interests and experiences in life.
So, like the song, I’m never going back to my old school. I’ve passed up the 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th and 40th high school reunions so far, and have no plans to ever do it again.
I always thought that my life was going to happen after I left school, and it did. Those I went to school with act like they never left. Their pinnacle in life was either high school or college. They are like Al Bundy, high school football star, but loser in life. They relive the past at a time we were juveniles. I saw much more than that. Being a part of it wasn’t something I ever wanted to do.
On LinkedIn, I don’t even list my university. Instead I use Faber College, Knowledge is good.
Occasionally, I hear about someone from that time. Almost to a person, they didn’t amount to not much past that time of life. I hope they enjoyed their moment in the limelight, but it’s too bad that it came so early in life. When I see the pictures, they faded into old looking people who fell out of shape or didn’t realize their dreams. It’s sad. I wish they could have seen the big picture that what seems important to teenagers is not.
When I think about why, it was the people that I wanted away from, not the school. I continue to have highlights in life, rather than re-live an immature time of my life.
I’m never going back, to my old…..school, because I grew up to so much more.
In stuff that we knew in 2020, the truth comes out about how to VERY INEXPENSIVELY AND EFFECTIVELY CURE COVID-19. After lying that it didn’t work, I guess the payoff from the vaccine companies is finished, so everyone can now admit it. Two plus billion later in payoffs, we get this:
The Mayo Clinic which has been touted by many as the best hospital system and medical research center in
the United States, recently made an interesting update on their website regarding the drug Hydroxychloroquine.
In the new update on their site, it now says “Hydroxychloroquine may be used to treat coronavirus (COVID-19) in certain hospitalized patients.”
Previously the Mayo Clinic claimed Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were “malaria drugs authorized for emergency use by the FDA during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the FDA withdrew that authorization when data analysis showed that the drugs are not effective for treating COVID-19.”
Here’s Mayo Clinic’s previous stance on the drug: (Lying)
President Trump was one of the most notable figures to take Hydroxychloroquine after he tested positive for Covid-19. (because it worked, but the MSM couldn’t let him be right)

They couldn’t let Trump be right or they wouldn’t have been able to cheat on the election and miss a chance to snipe at him with lies.
No wonder we don’t trust Government, Medicine or Pharma anymore. And no one will ever be held accountable for the deaths that could have been prevented.
Any other time, this would be Murder by not curing patients, but that will never see the light of day.
One goes through life meeting people through all stages. Most enter and exit your life at various times for various reasons. There are some that you are friends with for longer than others. Should life’s permutations cause a shift in your circumstances, they may last a while or may drift away.
Almost everyone has a few people however that stand the test of time. They are relationships based on trust that weather life’s storms. You share your thoughts and dreams before and after and there is a trust that is built between you. Even though every person has faults and stumbles occasionally (sometimes at your expense), you can forgive these people because of the bond you have built. The same stumbling can cause one to excommunicate a person from their life, but you hold on to the friend.
Any of the types of friends can range from short acquaintances to life long relationships. They can have ups and downs with emotions and feelings. I find that true friends can have a lapse in time between communication, but you can pick up as if no time had elapsed.
FRIENDSHIP IS A 2 WAY STREET.
You can go both ways down a 2 way street. Conversely, the road only goes in one direction on a one way street. It is part of the equation for disaster to a friendship. The friendship will always be open as long as that road is. It may ebb and flow with respect to how often the road is traveled, but there usually is a welcome mat waiting for you.
Sometimes, like the meme above states, one winds up treating people the way they treat you. This is a 2 way street, with consequences. The actions of one at some point overwhelm the other both in a positive or in a negative way.
It’s tough when life gets in the way of friendships.
How does the road close?
I was in an athletic club with a person who used to be a good friend. One day, for reasons they know, the road closed. I never changed with respect to wanting to stay friends and being open to our friendship One day, the bridge was burned on their side of the street. Being an avid body language reader, I was quickly able to surmise the reason for this change and with whom else (the body language is too revealing), but since that road goes nowhere now. I didn’t want to confront them and felt no need to explore any further reasons since I know my side of the street remains open. They were embarrassed and/or ashamed of what they were doing and was afraid to come clean to me. Since they can’t face me with the truth (even though I know what it is) communication ceased. My life immediately had less complications. I saw no need to worry so I just moved on
I’ve also seen relationships end over a third party. This comes in various flavors. To me, the most fucked up flavor is when a new wife or girlfriend wants a guy to ditch his friends because she doesn’t like them.
Either men don’t care as much or it isn’t as big a priority as this situation doesn’t occur with the frequency on a man’s perspective of the relationship as it does the females. For red pill takers, this of course is known as the shit test. You have to decide which is more important and is this type of behavior going to be acceptable in your relationship or not. No alpha male is going to put up with it, but since most men aren’t alpha’s, that friendship goes away a lot of the time. This is always regrettable when the love relationship is over and the friendship that was before the romance has already been damaged.
Being an introvert, I cherish the real friendships. I only have a few close friends, but they are friends because I am able to open up and the friend knows that I’ll go to the mat for them. In the case of the bike club, sincerity got tossed out the window over actions.
I look for those loyal friendships and can open up to them. The others fade away over time. Some self sort themselves out of your life for various reasons. As I look back, I’m usually better off without them as I keep and cherish real friendships and forget the faux relationships.
The extroverts I know make a thousand acquaintances and some are friends.
So I am sorry I lost the friendship, but it exposed that perhaps we weren’t really friends to begin with, or the basis for our friendship was shaky at best.
Childhood friends
Some of your first friends are a result of proximity. You live on the same street or go to the same school. Perhaps you have the same sport or activity that causes you to spend time and notice each other. Over time, it seems that common interests seem to be the common denominator here. It might be school, sports, art, hobbies or just that spending time together is the enjoyable part.
Growing up is difficult however. Social pressure is the fire that tests the purity of these relationships. Peer pressure is tough on kids. Being included in a specific group weighs heavy on friendships, especially when one is a part of the group and the other is not. Some don’t let it bother them and remain loyal or are able to split time between the group and the friend. Others abandon the early friend for the inclusiveness of the group. Perhaps the basis for that friendship wasn’t valid enough to hold it together.
As we go through the pre-college school years, friendships escape proximity and we are
other relationships, spouses and girlfriends/boyfriends (mostly girls)

Good guys win again
The next one is the MSM and other truth hating people trying to cancel James O’Keefe from Project Veritas. If you don’t know them, they break all the lies told by politicians, celebtards, child killers like planned parenthood and deep state critters. They ousted O’Keefe and went bankrupt. O’keefe started another company and is still a rousing success for truth in what is going on.
Project Veritas suspended all operations this week and laid off its remaining journalists just months after the organization’s board ousted its founder James O’Keefe. Since then the organization has been under siege by staff revolts, board chaos, poor fundraising, and ongoing prosecutions and litigation by Democrats and the Biden regime.
Project Veritas was one of the most consequential and feared conservative news outlets in the country for the past decade. Democrats and corrupt public officials grew to hate its founder O’Keefe and his organization after years of exposing public fraud and corruption.
BREAKING: Project Veritas suspends all operations effective immediately.
CEO @HannahMGiles and Jen Kiyak of Human Resources cite financial ruin as reason for additional layoffs on 9/20/23 leaving merely a handful of employees left.
This post has sex and booze in it, read it later in the post.
Since I graduated with both Accounting and Marketing degree’s, I tried to find a job in one of those fields. I finished college before they had the internet, so you couldn’t look up jobs on LinkedIn or on online. We did actual networking back then.
I had friends who got me interviews where they worked, and I accepted a job in the finance trainee program at Burdines Department Stores. Here is the building I worked at in downtown Miami. Count 4 floors up and that would be me.
The program was 4 six month shifts in different departments (where they needed a slave to hump some work it seemed).
I have no idea why or what I was doing in finance. I really majored in Animal House activities and going to the Beach instead of class. I knew debit was on the left, but even I wouldn’t have trusted me at the time with balancing a checkbook.
Anyway…..
My 2nd rotation in the Statistical department was working on the Departmental Operating Statement (DOS). It was a financial statement that reported on the profit and loss of every department in every store, so 256 departments x 26 stores x 18 expense categories. It was as dreary as that sentence sounds
While not a published financial statement, it was how the department managers in each store got rated. That is far too much responsibility for someone who drank and got high often enough to fail any drug test, at work.
The DOS was a manual masturbation exercise that had to balance to the expenses for the year and show the profitability (or loss) of each department and store. This will be key in the story that follows.
While working on this, we were automating it to an IBM System 34 (now the System P), again pre-PC days. It even had 8 inch floppy diskettes for storage.
Burdines was owned by Federated Department Stores, who also owned Bloomingdales, Filene’s, Foley’s, A & S, and a number of other stores. This part is important. Never once was the DOS turned in on time by Burdines to Federated. The other divisions were on time and it was a sore spot for the finance guys.
Statistical made sure the DOS balanced to the penny manually. It also meant it would never be on time. During this period, I found that I had an affinity for computers. I was one of the few that understood how they worked and mainly focused on that. When you can run something others are afraid of, and it is vital to getting the job done, it’s like playing cards with a stacked deck. I got that concept right away. The computer would crank out a report in about 30 minutes in those days which would have taken weeks to do manually.
We worked days and nights to get it finished. While the computer was calculating, we were writing programs (in RPG II). We also fucked off and messed with the other employees desk’s who were a pain (Art Goldstein, still in Expense Control). We were putting cigarette ashes under his desk pad, all kinds of shit in his desk and unrolling his calculator (no PC’s) and printing a lot of gibberish on it, then rolling the tape back up for him to find days later. He’d have to redo the tabulation as you had to attach a tape to your work. It cost him hours at work. No one said a thing the next day when he lost it. We just shrugged. Everyone knew it was us that worked late. We also ordered in pizza and beers and left drunk many nights. There was worse stuff we did with the pizza’s, but that’s another story.
I thought accountants were stiffs, but these guys could put a way scotch until they were pickled. It was like working with John Hamm, only at night.
Since these were the Madmen days when you could drink at work, we got beers and take out food from the Cuban restaurants since it was in downtown Miami. You could also fuck around at work without the #metoo bullshit that has ruined a lot of good office sex.
Needless to say, we got it finished, but not on time to Federated during my trainee rotation. I wasn’t a full employee yet, so I didn’t care. I had fun messing around and seeing how things worked. They balanced it as it was done at the same time manually, so it had to tie out. That little detail cost weeks of work to be that exact. I learned everything I could about the computer and started to see it as my ticket to life.
NOW, MY FIRST JOB
I was moved on to the Credit department for my 3rd rotation, where I thought I was going to die from boredom until they got my ass out of there early. I was questioning my career decision at this point. The most I learned there was about mopering (you’re going to have to ask a NY cop what this is).
Since I’d made the System 34 sing and dance, they promoted me back to Statistical (I called it sta-testicle) in charge of the DOS this time and told me I had to have it in on time (or pretty much be fired). I didn’t have an option to decline it having already done one round of this financial statement. Hell, it was a promotion and doing something I saw as a career was way better than wanting to shoot myself while I did pretty much jack shit in Credit.
This is where the fun begins.
I was now responsible for people and the ratings of thousands of people. All the other employees who worked on it from before had only done the manual version. I was the only one who could work the System 34. While it was a mystery to them on the computer, the sharp eyed finance people could make any financial statement balance with paper, pencil and calculator. These (mostly) girls would sit at their desk and crank out calculations all day, and only leave to go to break (this will be important later).
One of them, my 2nd in command, Carmen Gomez had huge boobs. I’d love to sit with her while we she figured out numbers as she’d plant those babies on my arms at the desk for minutes at a time. I couldn’t have cared less about balancing the numbers. That was her problem. This is the only time I’d sit still for more than 10 minutes. There is no way she didn’t know she was doing this and I was a walking hormone at 22. I didn’t move until she finished as they were the biggest tits I’d been near my whole life.
During my first stint on the DOS, I heard someone say as a joke that you could spread any expense overages like peanut butter over all the departments and no one would notice. It was like when I heard that you could kill a hangover with the hair of the dog. I tucked that nugget away and it would serve me well later.
Here’s where I skip the boring parts where I worked 6 days a week from 8 in the morning to sometimes 11 at night. The only part that matters is that I was alone at night this time.
What is important is that I’m in charge of the computer as I’m the only one who can make it work. I’m alone at night when the computer is crunching and I can see the reports first. They had stopped the manual version so there was no number detail that I had to balance to, just the final expense per category.
Besides drinking, here’s the other Madmen stuff. I now have finance trainee’s working for me doing what I did. In this case they were also girls. There was no hanky panky during the work day, but stay tuned, there will be.
My desk wasn’t in the computer room, so I’d have to run back and forth between the two (me not sitting still, except at Carmen’s desk). I’d pass by the controller’s office. I found out later he was worried about what I was doing because I was never at my desk hammering the calculator like the rest of the robots. His name was Bob Dillon and was about 5’6″, so we nicknamed him shorty. Even Carmen, who was a stiff would come to laugh at that one. His pants were never wrinkled, so we wondered if he took them off to sit down.
When the day workers went home, I put my magic to work. I understood real clear the part about getting it done on time. I also understood the peanut butter reference. I couldn’t balance this thing with scales from NASA, so I gave in quickly to spreading any leftover money to everyone. They each took a few dollars hit and wouldn’t know anyway so what did I care? Since we were fully automated now, they didn’t have a manual version to compare it with, so I was the only one who understood this little secret. They just knew that I was on time and delivered reports every morning.
SOME MORE MADMEN STUFF
As I mentioned, it was my turn to have trainee’s working on the statement. Burdines hired college students by the busload, mostly girls on the marketing side to buy and promote mostly high end merchandise. I got used to the assistant buyers lasting about 6 months and being recycled for new grads. It was like feeding time at the crocodile pit at the zoo when they brought the trainees in. I went out with a million of them, all with bad intentions. This was the Miami Vice time of life so being single in Miami was a time you could live like the Playboy Mansion, and we did. We’d have new stories every week and the girls were in on it too at this time. No one reported anyone to HR for hanky panky with the co-workers or playing grab ass in the hallways. The girls thought it was great and grabbed back. I got picked up one time by the fragrance girl who would spray you with cologne as you went down the escalator. This was before the Karen’s who ruin everything were born.
My trainee on the DOS though was Terri. A 6 foot girl with an attitude that said I could drink with any of you and still get to work. I was busy with the assistant buyers while she worked for me, so I kept it professional during the intense DOS time.
Remember, I had to have it on time and I knew it’s integrity wasn’t going to get in my way.
I missed a lot of life over those months, and a lot of beach time on Saturday. No one could question my commitment to getting it done, although my work ethics might have been somewhat iffy.
After busting ass over many months with many working parts, I sat alone those many nights running programs and printing thousands of pages of reports. They balanced every time because because I forced it. I was about getting it finished on time and not letting shorty know what was going on.
SHENANIGANS
Needless to say, I got it done. It was the first time Burdines was ever on time with the DOS to Federated headquarters. I knew that it was close enough to being mostly representative of what went on (and exact in some places like payroll because Carmen did that one) so I met my personal challenges and my goals at my review. I was a star in the minds of the big shots. Even shorty was happy, although he never knew the shortcuts I took.
On the day we finished, we decided to celebrate by going out to Joe’s Stone Crabs for dinner. The whole crew went (not Carmen, fortunately). The professional drinkers were on display and I was recently out of college in an Animal House fraternity, so I was more than 10 Heineken’s down by the end of dinner.
I told Terri that I was ready to go after a while and I think she wanted me to drive her home. My original intentions weren’t lascivious, but as we drove by Miami International Airport on 836, I decided to throw a trial balloon. I said how about a version of the submarine races? This involved watching planes taking off, with me taking off as much of her clothes as fast as I could.
As I said, she was a good sport. She acted like one of the guys, and no one hit on her during the DOS, so I figured she was ready for action (and many beers down herself). As for looks, I was the best she could hope for and I’d been pulling ass from assistant buyers well out of her league (and she knew it). I was on a recent breakup and ready for a rebound that was meaningless, but hopefully meaningful memory wise.
I also knew she was done in statistical and was moving to her next assignment, so what the hell. She didn’t work for me anymore.
I found what I thought was a private place and parked. I made my move quickly as I figured we were drunk and if I got any push back, I’d just go home. I wasn’t going to try that hard. Well, she was in on the plan and probably hadn’t gotten any since college so her shirt was unbuttoned in no time. I’d had a steady college girlfriend who had the same bra that unsnapped in the front. I had it undone faster than Fonzie from Happy Days, to which her surprised response was wow, you did that well. I said I’d done it before, so she knew she was going to have a ride that night. Let the rodeo begin.
One thing led to another and an hour later we were still going at it. She had a big boat of Mercury with a huge bench seat in the front, so there was plenty of room for her tallness. We were at it from every way you could in a car. The windows in the car were fogged by now.
I thought I’d found a nice sequestered place, but in my drunkenness, I’d parked under a window at the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant. That is the chain at airports that has big windows for watching planes take off and land. They got the show of the century. No one watched the planes that night. Here’s an actual picture of the view at that restaurant. We were right parked right below this.
When we were done, we went home to my apartment for another round. The next morning, I woke up with morning wood and her hand stroking my Johnson. We still had to work (on a Saturday) to clean up records and get it published. Both of us acted like it was just another day, but later I heard she spread the word that I was an animal that night, so it garnered interest from a number of young unsuspecting trainee’s that I wouldn’t otherwise have had a shot at. After we’d both moved on, I’d call her up for beers and sex with no commitment and were friends with benefits.
She even signed my going away card with a reference to watching the planes take off.
Needless to say, the DOS was done on time. I asked and received a transfer to Data Processing to start the PC program, which would start me on my real career in all things personal computing, cloud, networking, PR and AR.
I still got high at work with the internal auditors and did a great job, but moved on from Burdines with an education in how to prioritize things to get the job done, in many aspects of life.
Those were the good days before HR and woke busybodies ruined all the fun. I’d have been fired for any of that stuff today. It’s a damn good thing I retired.
Well blow me down mateys, it be that time of year again! This proud tradition started 27 years ago. Don’t be a scurvy dog and forget to talk like a pirate, all day long! In thewords of “Steve the Pirate” from the movie “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” – “gar”.
In 1984, Dreamscape was released. Dennis Quaid was at his height of entertainment as far as I was concerned.
The story was him getting into other peoples dreams. It was entertaining, especially when you found out that if you died in your dream, you died in real life. It was like dying in the Matrix in a later series.
Scientists helped volunteers unlock their creative potential through “targeted dream incubation”
They created a device called Dormio that could help guide participants through targeted dream incubation
The study was built off of an earlier study by French sleep researchers
Short naps can help people’s brains come up with creative solutions to problems, especially when they are guided to dream about a particular topic, a newly published study has found.
Scientists from Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) published a paper Monday in the journal Scientific Reports that found that power naps can do wonders in unlocking people’s creative potential.
Researchers found that the creative mind is particularly fertile during the earliest stage of sleep, known as hypnagogia, in which a person is drifting between sleep and waking, according to MIT News.
The scientists said they determined that when people are prompted to dream about a particular topic during that sleep phase, they perform much more creatively when they are later asked to perform tasks surrounding that topic.
This “Inception”-like process of “hacking” dreams is called “targeted dream incubation.”
“When you are prompted to dream about a topic during sleep onset, you can have dream experiences that you can later use for these creative tasks,” Kathleen Esfahany, a neuroscientist at MIT and one of the lead authors of the study, said in a statement.
The new paper was built off of an earlier study from 2021 by French sleep researchers who found that participants who woke up from hypnagogic sleep were more likely to solve math problems. the Daily Beast reported.
In their study, Harvard and MIT researchers tried to determine whether the same transient sleep state could also work with more creative tasks such as storytelling.
The researchers created a device called Dormio that could be used for targeted dream incubation. It includes a glove connected to a smartphone or laptop app that measures three physiological markers of sleep — changes in muscle tone, heart rate and skin conductance.
As the participant enters hypnagogic sleep, the app prompts them with a specific dream topic. Just before they enter the next stage of sleep, the app will wake them up, ask them to report what they were dreaming about and record their response.
“One of the goals of our group is to give people more insights into how their brain works, and also what their cognitive state is and how they may be able to influence it,” said Pattie Maes, an MIT technology professor and co-author of the study.
During the experiment, the researchers split up 49 participants into four groups, with one group given a Dormio device and 45 minutes to nap and prompted to dream about a tree. Another group was also given Dormio and napped but was not prompted and only asked to observe their own thoughts. The other two groups remained awake.
After the two groups finished their naps, the scientists asked all 49 participants to write a creative story that included the word tree.
They found that the group with the most creative stories about trees was the one that was prompted by the app in their dream. Meanwhile, the group that took a nap but was not prompted had the second-best output.
The creativity of the stories was judged by people who read each one and were not told which group wrote the stories.
The election farce is ramping up. Biden will let others do the work and Trump will be all over the place with big crowds. Romney is gone, so his back stabbing stench won’t be in the chamber any longer.
Sill, we have to go through it. I wonder how corrupt it’s going to be this time.
“What’s more, granting Harvard a score of 0.00 is generous. Its actual score is -10.69, more than six standard deviations below the average and more than two standard deviations below the second-to-last school in the rankings”
People tend to think of Harvard as the best, the gold standard of higher education. Yet they just got rated as the worst in one of the most important aspects of education: free speech.
The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) monitors and defends free speech and has given Harvard the worst rating possible in its annual rankings.
Harvard is named worst school for free speech — scoring zero out of possible 100
Harvard University is officially 2023’s worst school for free speech.
The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) released its annual college free speech rankings on Wednesday, which dubbed the state of free speech at the Ivy League school “abysmal.”
“I’m not totally surprised,” Sean Stevens, director of polling and analytics at FIRE, told The Post. “We’ve done these rankings for years now, and Harvard is consistently near the bottom.”
Despite being the most acclaimed academic institution in the country, Harvard received a 0.00-point free speech ranking on a 100-point scale — a full 11 points behind the next-worst school.
Harvard gets worst score ever in FIRE’s College Free Speech Rankings
Harvard is consistently ranked one of the best universities in the United States. But FIRE frequently finds itself in the odd position of giving this all-star academic school failing grades.
Simply put, Harvard has never performed well in FIRE’s College Free Speech Rankings, finishing below 75% of the schools surveyed in each of the past four years.
In 2020, Harvard ranked 46 out of 55 schools. In 2021, it ranked 130 out of 154 schools. Last year, it ranked 170 out of 203 schools. And this year, Harvard completed its downward spiral in dramatic fashion, coming in dead last with the worst score ever: 0.00 out of a possible 100.00. This earns it the notorious distinction of being the only school ranked this year with an “Abysmal” speech climate.
What’s more, granting Harvard a score of 0.00 is generous. Its actual score is -10.69, more than six standard deviations below the average and more than two standard deviations below the second-to-last school in the rankings, its Ivy League counterpart, the University of Pennsylvania. (Penn obtained an overall score of 11.13.)
FIRE offers specific examples as reasons for the low score:
For each of these seven incidents, Harvard was penalized in the rankings:
In 2020, Harvard revoked conservative student activist Kyle Kashuv’s acceptance over comments he made on social media as a 16-year-old, for which he had since apologized.
In 2022, Harvard disinvited feminist philosopher Devin Buckley from an English department colloquium on campus over her views on gender and trans issues.
Give them some time alone to get bored, and they come up with this. I was checking out of the Garden shop at Lowes, and found this gem. I think they put the cardboard box on it to shelter it from sun/rain, but someone had too much time on their hands.
They are graduating people not smart enough to write for themselves so they copy others work, in very public places. Once a cheater and liar, always a………Look who it is writing about civil rights

“Cite-checking involves formatting case citations under highly prescribed rules and searching Westlaw to make sure the cases haven’t been overruled or superseded,” Severino explained. “Because I was interested in the article’s topic (civil rights), I read a bunch of the cited cases all the way through.”
Severino said that at this point, he noticed that “a certain turn of phrase” in one of the opinions he was reading sounded “oddly familiar.”
“So, I turned back to Biden’s article, and there it was,” he said. “He had lifted language straight out of a [Supreme Court] opinion, changed a couple words, and called them his own. There were no quote marks and no footnote or anything else attributing the court as the source.”
I wouldn’t be able to hold a straight face in school.
I remember when conjugating the verb Fahren (to drive/go) in German class. The plural you form is fahrt. We giggled the whole time. I bet Miss Phillips put that day off as long as she could.
Novak Djokovic was willing to sacrifice being the all time majors winning record holder for his health. I’ll pull for him at the US Open and other tournaments for sticking to his principles and not getting jabbed.
Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t get jabbed either, and proved it wouldn’t stop him by only missing one game when he got Covid.
Joe Rogan pissed off Big Pharma, Big Government and the other Covid commies by taking Ivermectin, HCQ, mono-clonal antibodies and beating it in 3 days.
Look at this Instagram post by Rodgers, pranking Moderna and praising another warrior.
Not a single person who didn’t get jabbed regrets it.
In order to judge of the inside of others, study your own; for men in general are very much alike, and though one has one prevailing passion, and another has another, yet their operations are much the same; and whatever engages or disgusts, pleases, or offends you in others will engage, disgust, please or offend others in you.”
And this one for introverts
“Silence and reserve suggest latent power. What some men think has more effect than what others say.”
Do you wonder even for a little bit that there is a coverup coordinated by the deep state, the MSM, the DOJ and both political parties?
We are getting a lot closer to the lies and the people telling them being exposed.
Even if you have your head buried in the sand, pretty sure the global warming, Covid, election fraud and other crimes being told are going to present their evidence. Whether you want to believe it is another story.
Don’t be a sheep and do what you are being told. Start to question the narrative.
The people controlling the power and money are circling the wagons and keep telling these lies. They want to control the useful idiots. That is what the KGB called the people who believed the state’s lies and were the mules used to carry and spread the message.
I’m not able to process the attention that others force on you. To me, it’s just another day and I wish others would treat it that way. I want to crawl in a hole and not come out until it is over.
When I was a waiter, we’d sing the song to the birthday person. Almost always, a drunk table nearby would want it and would ask for us to sing it to them. One time, a party was so belligerent about it, instead of Happy Birthday dear (name), we sang eat a big one you asshole, HBTY.
Back to the point. I never understood why it was such a big deal. I didn’t know it was OK to hate your birthday until I talked to other introverts. It was painful for years. When I found out you didn’t have to suffer through this, I got my family to swear they’d never put me through the fake festivities again.
I think parents are so overboard on their children’s birthdays that they set this false expectation that it’s a real holiday. It was painful for me and I never knew how to act. The kids come to count on it like it is going to make them happier because they got stuff.
The extroverts in my family expect the attention, but it’s difficult for me to sit through that also. I want that to be over as much as when it happens to me.
In my life, charade has taken over any holiday. People get worked up and claim they are happy because of a day that is supposed to be celebrated. I’ve grown to loathe big family gatherings and the month long Christmas ordeal. I see how unhappy they can be. It’s because people set themselves up for false expectations that some holiday or gathering is supposed to make them feel better. Take away their alcohol and it’s a whole different thing.
I can’t buy that nonsense as there are other days in the year that make me happier, but it is organic rather than manufactured. I can even take (a small amount) some celebrations if spontaneous and real.
At this end of my life, I don’t like having another birthday so fast. It just reminds me that that I’ll be crossing the checkered flag in life soon.
My son called it wearing your paycheck. Various genders, ethnicities and race all have their favorite names.
They will make you poor in more than you wallet. Many will kill your health, shortening your lifespan. A lot of them will prevent you from retiring early or keeping out of debt.
As an Introvert, I hate people that show off or have to prove they are something because of what they have or do.
People should notice what you do and who you are rather than showing off. That is a terrible trait.
I shake my head when I drive by a Starbucks and the line is long. Over priced coffee is just coffee at the end of the cup. Then you are a dumbass.
A shoplifter gets an ass whoopin’ instead of stealing jewelry. I love a happy ending. They shouldn’t have made it so easy to shop lift, even guys with man boobs think they can take what they want.

I watched people when I worked there called the thinkers. They didn’t do anything or contribute, yet didn’t get penalized so we called them thinkers. It’s sarcasm of course, but there was a lot of dead weight.
There was also FUMU, fuck up move up. They’d promote you or move you to another group if you were trouble or made mistakes.
No matter how many layoffs they have, you can still get lost in the system and not work much while getting a paycheck. You can keep your job despite being incompetent.
The other thing is to brown nose in the office headquarters in New York. While there was considerable backstabbing there, you had an advantage over remote office employees. They were allowed an extra grade of incompetence for being inside the curtain of prejudice in the headquarters. The ratings at review time were better if you worked at the club.
They had some of the most brilliant people, there were others who made me question how they kept the doors open some days.
Twitter Updates Privacy Policy Notifying Users Their Content Will Be Used to Train and Develop Enhanced AI
I couldn’t think of a worse group of people to learn from. The amount of hate, disinformation and abuse of the platform by the government (despite what Musk has tried to do) will just train a monster.
Excerpt:
The use of Enhanced Artificial Intelligence to control information and communication is a subject that too few people understand. This is why I have spent time trying to share information so that people can see into the future of their internet reality. Everything will change.
As you should know by now, the X platform (Twitter) is designed to produce a different user experience based on “definitions” of the user. The definitions are applied by the platform, to create unique identifying characteristics of the user. The result is that each user gets a completely different platform experience, based on their definitions.
“Twitter is a different platform for each user.” Repeat that phrase as often as needed to understand the evolution of what is coming to the American internet.
You might ask, how is applying all of these granular definitions even possible? The answer is through the use of AI. Humans will no longer be assigning the definitions of you; an autonomous system will take on the job of assigning the definitions. Now, keep referencing the word “definitions,” because that is your identity and gateway pass into the platform content. If you carry a particular definition, you will be blocked, throttled, shadow-banned or experience friction applied to your user id.
Remember when Elon Musk restricted users and claimed it was because the platform content was being “scraped” by organizations who were using the content to train their Enhanced AI systems? Remember, Musk saying that, and expressing his concern? Well, now the platform is telling users in a new X Corp privacy policy, that X corp itself is going to do exactly the thing Musk said he abhorred.
There is more about VPN’s and bypassing gatekeepers that is pertinent, but I’ll leave you with this nugget at the end of the article. If you think ESG is bad for you, look how Google (evil) is helping pervert AI, the Internet and the truth.
As we have shared, the crawl is not headlines, the crawl is in content. Yes, even content in the comment section is now flagging to the control systems. Why? Because we operate a proprietary constructed private commenting system that doesn’t have a backdoor and protects you, the user.
The Google Spiders are newly enhanced with AI instructions, dispatched looking for content and ‘context’ that is against the interests of the Vanguard, Blackrock, Larry Page (Alpha/Goog owners), and the public-private partnership.
Look at the one I have highlighted above titled “Have you ever noticed this.” Do you remember it? [Reminder Here] This content is considered “dangerous or derogatory”. Think about that for a moment. Discussing the humor of Donald Trump, and the fellowship it creates, is considered “dangerous” to the interests of Google.
Not that it’s going to stop the people who use it to grift money out of the government or have it as their religion.

Excerpt Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming.
Warming is far slower than predicted
The world has warmed significantly less than predicted by IPCC on the basis of modeled anthropogenic forcing. The gap between the real world and the modeled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.
Climate policy relies on inadequate models
Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as policy tools. They do not only exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases, they also ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.
CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth
CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. More CO2 is favorable for nature, greening our planet. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass. It is also profitable for agriculture, increasing the yields of crops worldwide.
Funny how Lahaina, Maui just got climate change.
It’s one of the biggest hoax’s as an excuse for money grabbing since Ponzi. Don’t forget these are the same people believing and trying to get others jabbed for Covid-19.
Hell, half the pressure is stuff we put on ourselves, but then so is half of the enjoyment of pulling it off.

Men are in competition with each other. Men vie to express dominance, to establish their place in the pecking order.
If a man steps out of line, and assumes a place in the pecking order that is not agreed upon – this place being based upon established social agreements that no one can see, nor express in words – he is summarily dismissed.
If he still believes the territory, he has assumed, is rightfully his, he will endure all manner of insults and attacks, up to, and including, physical attacks
This begins for boys some time just after the toddler stage, and intensifies through the teen years, and early adulthood.
Men find this competition exhilarating, though it is also challenging, and often ends in shocking defeats.
WE MAKE UP GAMES TO COMPETE, EVEN WITH OURSELVES.
See the meme above. One of the unwritten rules for guys is you have to (at least try) to get all the shopping bags in one trip.
Next, we can’t just throw away a wad of paper if there is a hoop to make. Back up and see how far you can be before you miss. Add difficulty by changing hands or twice in a row. Hell, I toss ice cubes that fell on the floor behind my back into the sink. Putting them there would be too easy, or conversely not enough of a challenge.
I told my son this one. You have to open the garage door as far as possible when driving up. You need to know the range in case of (imagined) attack, or whatever. Never can you wait in the driveway while the door is opening.
You have to park in the spot first time. To add difficulty, back in. The ultimate challenge is parallel parking uphill on the wrong side of the street while driving stick shift with people in your car to judge you. It has to be done the first try. (I’ve done it).
CNN drew criticism and mockery after it published a nearly 2,000-word essay on the use and history of neopronouns on Saturday, including how to address a person who refers to themselves as a “leaf.”
In the article titled “A guide to neopronouns from ae to ze,” an expert on neopronouns and their histories and professor of English and Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign told the outlet that “People like to have a say in how they’re identified.”
“Refusing to let people self-identify is a way of excluding them,” he added.
Playing to its audience, CNN thought it necessary to explain what a pronoun is and how they are used daily. The article’s author explained how neopronouns are most often “used by nonbinary, transgender, and gender nonconforming people because they offer more freedom of identity.” It even had a guide on how to use neo-pronouns in a sentence.
CNN posted the article on X and at the time of writing the post has over 1.4 million views only 511 likes, over 4,000 comments, and over 750 quote tweets, with the vast majority making fun of the outlet.
Christina Buttons wrote, “Is this a serious news outlet for serious journalists or an activist rag?”
Since I’m not job hunting anymore and my social media outlet other than blogs is LinkedIn, I lampoon them often for being woke in my profile. I wonder how many recruiters are getting a laugh at the stuff I put in my profile.
The story is below, but it’s a joke that the stuff that is said in (c)rap music is acceptable and they want to ban an actual good song.
I rarely post music, but here are 3 good versions of a great song which has stood the test of time. It reminds me of an Italian biker I used to ride with. I bet she asked am I fat about 50+ times. If you have to ask, then maybe……
You may have to watch it on youtube, but everyone loves this song.
Here it is live
Here is a great cover of it
Here’s the story.
From Lizzo to Meghan Trainor, music celebrating bigger women has become big business in the era of big people. Perhaps if the 1970s rock band Queen had been led by a woman, particularly a bigger woman, they too would join the hall of fame of body-positive musicians.
Except on Saturday, the Daily Mail reported the band’s blockbuster track, “Fat Bottomed Girls,” was left off the group’s Greatest Hits collection.
Written by guitarist Brian May, the legendary 1978 record served generations as an anthem to male admiration of women with larger-than-average bodies.
“But 45 years later, it appears that lyrics such as ‘left alone with big fat Fanny, she was such a naughty nanny, big woman, you made a bad boy out of me’ and ‘fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin’ world go round’ have been hit by the woke cancel culture,” the Mail reported. “It was such a popular hit for Queen that it appeared fourth on the band’s original 1981 greatest hits album along with Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now and We Will Rock You.”
Last week, however, “Fat Bottomed Girls” was absent from a list of songs put out by Universal Records highlighting Queen’s greatest hits.
While the exact circumstances of the song’s omission from the label remain unclear, an industry insider told the Daily Mail the song was inappropriately singled out.
“It is the talk of the music industry, nobody can work out why such a good-natured fun song can’t be acceptable in today’s society.”
If the song was omitted for its male appreciation for big women, the cancellation is not only ironic under the shadow of Lizzo’s star power but signals a threat to music by other artists who express reverence for women of a larger size. Coincidentally, Lizzo’s stardom has been recently dimmed by accusations of sexual misconduct and more frivolous charges of “fat shaming.”
Queen’s 1978 release of “Fat Bottomed Girls” was a precursor to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s number-one hit to follow 14 years later, “Baby Got Back.” The lyrics were far more explicit, as is typical with rap music. The 1992 song’s opening narrator even characterized a big-bootied black woman as a “prostitute.”
It turns out that being a liberal man makes you soft. A new analysis shows that 30 million men battle erectile dysfunction.
According to the numbers, E.D. — a euphemism for men who can’t get hard for their ladies, etc. — treatment is mostly sought after among men with progressive views.
Are all the masculine men conservative?
“Do you want to know one of the saddest realizations I recently had? Was that as a liberal woman, it is really hard to find a man who is willing to play the more traditional masculine role in the relationship in today’s day and age who is not a conservative. A man who wants to pay on the first date, who wants to open the door, who has that want and desire to care of you and to provide who is not a conservative,” she explained in the now-viral video.
Liberal Woman complains about dating lib men bc they're not men… continues dating them
Per Viagra, the little blue pill company, the figures could also be more than 30 million men with E.D. in the States. The Daily Mail relayed a study declaring men with liberal views request more prescription pills for E.D.
It’s no secret that the new generation has been getting softer. It’s perfectly evident when the Barbie (2023) movie manages to gross over $100 million on its opening weekend (good movie, though).
“smh” – Lib #1
Viagra noted that the 30 million men currently struggling with E.D. in America doubles the amount compared to men in the early 2000s.
The numbers also note that we are now at the point where 25 percent of guys under 40 struggle to get it up.
Leading causes for the dip in sex drive for modern men include obesity, rising consumption of porn and the two most popular words of the decade: mental health. All that’s missing is a Garth Brooks tee and you’ve got the archetype of a liberal man.
“Amy Schumer is funny, and I have E.D.” – Lib #2“The economy’s great.” – Lib #3
There’s also something to be said about the rising rate of vegetarianism and veganism among men, which teaches that salads can replace pulled pork. No meat means lower T.
So yes, groundbreaking stuff there. Men with progressive views aren’t manly and tough, while guys that lean more conservative have BBQ sauce running in their veins. The study really puts the d in “data” (lowercase, of course).
Now liberal men impatiently wait for State Farm’s numbers on higher rates of tractors falling into lakes between libs and conservatives. Call it a small victory.
Why am I not surprised? They act like dicks instead of using common sense. When you buy into that liberal thinking, it’s bound to make your dick soft, or just be a dickhead.
The study, published this month and titled “Global mass of buoyant marine plastics dominated by large long-lived debris,” used “observational data” from coastlines, the ocean surface, and the deep ocean to conclude that the amount of plastic pouring into the oceans every year is about 500,000 metric tons. The researchers’ abstract said that “recent estimates of the oceanic input of plastic are one to two orders of magnitude larger than the amount measured floating at the surface.”
Though this may still sound like a lot, but a widely relied upon 2015 study overshot the “accepted” number by a whopping 1,600%.
Referring to the data cited from the 2015 study led by Dr. Jenna Jambeck from the University of Georgia, the new study explains that “This discrepancy could be due to overestimation of input estimates, processes removing plastic from the surface ocean or fragmentation and degradation.”
The 2015 study with the now-challenged estimate was been adopted as authoritative by a range of media outlets, environmental activists and government agencies.
Nancy Wallace, Marine Debris Program Director at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), called the 2015 study “significant” in a New York Times article. Though she conceded it wasn’t an exact figure, she said it “gives us [NOAA] an idea of… where we might need to focus our efforts to affect the issue.”
To date, Dr. Jambeck’s 2015 study is listed on the NOAA website. Just the News contacted Wallace and NOAA’s media team for comment.
Other entities who accepted the 2015 data as a fact include The World Economic Forum, who said “At this rate, there will be more plastic than fish in the world’s oceans by 2050” and suggested that plastic pollutants “are adding to the climate change problem.” Other proponents of the “conventional wisdom” include UNESCO, The National Geographic Society, Time magazine, The Washington Post, as well as dozens of environmental organizations, such as “Environmental Action” and “Ocean Conservancy” all of whom have cited the “8 million metric tons of plastic pollution” figure.
Outlets like The New York Times, which propped up the 2015 study, have appeared to downplay the new number and double down on pushing a fearful narrative. “There Might Be Less Plastic in the Sea Than We Thought. But Read On,” reads their headline about the new data. “The new research might seem like good news, but the full picture is complicated: The amount of plastic in the ocean is still increasing by about 4 percent every year, according to the study,” the Times added.
Stephen Guertin, Deputy Director of U.S. Fish and Wildlife at the Department of The Interior, also used Jambeck’s study in his 2019 testimony before Congress, repeating that “it is believed that at least 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, and make up 80 percent of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments.”
And while America has been continually criticized for its role in plastic pollution, with many states passing legislation to severely restrict the use of plastic products, Manhattan Institute waste expert John Tierney says “virtually all the consumer plastics polluting the world’s oceans comes from ‘mismanaged waste’ in developing countries.”
“The Environmental Protection Agency has promoted recycling as a way to reduce carbon emissions, but its own figures show the benefits are relatively small and come almost entirely from recycling paper products and metals, not plastic,” he wrote in a New York Post op-ed, adding that rather than Americans sending plastic to a landfill, “most” of it ends up being shipped overseas to developing nations.
I tell my wife that it’s just another socialist tactic. I see 6 different containers in her home country of Denmark (which is socialist) and they clutter the streets while making the population get in line and obey.
The truth is that if you bury it, it doesn’t get micro plastics in the air and water, where it is far more dangerous. But that would be against the narrative. I could be broken down easily, but that doesn’t let people get controlled like good little commies, handcuffed to the recycling prison chain gang. They are dutiful sheep that are probably also vaxxed against Covid.
Back in my dating years, I had a one with a girl named Shayna who basically picked me up at the Cricket Club in Miami. The next morning I caught shit for not cooking her eggs runny. I knew that was the end of that as soon as the words came out.
The moral of the story, don’t bitch or be a nag (she claimed she was being a JAP, whatever)
We didn’t text back then, but if we did, this was it.
I guess they decided to use what worked last time. You’d think they’d be more creative. Before you read any further, I ask if you’ve learned your lesson or are going to be a sheep again.
The first source, a high-level TSA official confirmed and known to Infowars, reached out to Infowars and cited a Tuesday meeting in which TSA managers were told new memorandums & policies were being completed that would re-implement masking, starting with TSA & airport employees as early as mid-September.
The TSA official also said next week they will receive new guidelines on how the policy will escalate: by mid-October, mask-wearing will be required by pilots, flight staff, passengers, and airport patrons.
After hearing from the TSA manager, Infowars reached out to our trusted Border Patrol source who is also a manager. This source confirmed the same directives were being given to Border Patrol.
Covid-19 wastewater levels and hospitalizations have been rising from low levels for weeks, and federal data show a rise in positive tests for respiratory syncytial virus, too. Health officials expect the flu to join the mix in coming months.
For the first time, vaccines are available for all three of these illnesses, including new RSV shots for older adults and reformulated vaccines for Covid-19 and the flu.
“It’s new territory for all of us, particularly for older persons and people at high risk,” said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious-disease physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
After the dismal success of Test Run For Tyranny v1.0
in 2020-2022, an encore was never a matter of if but of when. So will “Americans” lay docilely down en masse again and take their buggering like good little sheep as they so disgracefully did last time around? Or can we expect more resistance of these blatantly contra-Constitutional edicts than we too-recently witnessed?
This “updated vaccine” is nothing to do with Eris, of course, as much as the language in the headlines implies it’s been “adapted” for the latest variant, it hasn’t.
It was in the works before Eris was even said to exist.
Moderna had the brass neck to claim that they did a “trial” showing their updated vaccine protects against Eris. Considering Eris first hit the headlines just a few weeks ago it looks like Moderna may have broken their own record in terms of speedy “trials”.
It’s just the same old slop it always was.
Hell, let’s be honest, it could be water. It could be ANYTHING.
The content of the syringe was never the important part.
After all, what you were being injected with wasn’t the point, the point was that you got injected because they told you to.
It was about forcing obedience, setting the vaccine mandate precedent and seeing how effectively people could be gaslit into taking a shot that they’d already been told they don’t need and doesn’t work.
Well, that and governments handing over VAST amounts of cash to pharmaceutical companies, obviously.
But they already have the money, and most people (allegedly) took the vaccine…so why are they still going?
You have to appreciate the huge amount of effort that went into hypnotizing millions – maybe billions – of people into acting against their own best interests, it’s a spell that’s easier to maintain than restart.
If they start letting people forget, then soon they’ll have to begin the ritual all over again.
And the magic is already wearing off.
IT’S ABOUT MAIL IN BALLOTS TO RIG THE ELECTION.
If you can’t have people come to the polls to vote (because they are too afraid), then it’s easier to have the necessary amount of mail in ballots show up at 4 AM in the morning to fix the vote count.
It’s approved now as all the payouts are done for the mRNA jabs. Is anyone going to trust the government anymore? How about the doctors that knew it worked and lied?
Oh, and Hydroxychoroquine also worked to cure Covid-19. They lied about that one also.
We knew the people pushing the vaxx knew it wasn’t safe and effective. We didn’t know that it wasn’t safe or effective, we just knew the people pushing it didn’t know either. And that was enough for me not to take it as well as a lot of others.
Doctors are free to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID-19, a lawyer representing the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said this week.
“FDA explicitly recognizes that doctors do have the authority to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID,” Ashley Cheung Honold, a Department of Justice lawyer representing the FDA, said during oral arguments on Aug. 8 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
The government is defending the FDA’s repeated exhortations to people to not take ivermectin for COVID-19, including a post that said “Stop it.”
The case was brought by three doctors who allege the FDA unlawfully interfered with their practice of medicine with the statements.
“The fundamental issue in this case is straightforward. After the FDA approves the human drug for sale, does it then have the authority to interfere with how that drug is used within the doctor-patient relationship? The answer is no,” Jared Kelson, representing the doctors, told the appeals court.
The FDA on Aug. 21, 2021, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter:
“You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
The post, which linked to an FDA page that says people shouldn’t use ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19, went viral.
In other statements, the FDA said that ivermectin “isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19” and “Q: Should I take ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19? A: No.”
Command or Not
“FDA made these statements in response to multiple reports of consumers being hospitalized, after self medicating with ivermectin intended for horses, which is available for purchase over the counter without the need for prescription,” Ms. Honold said.
A version of the drug for animals is available, but ivermectin is approved by the FDA for human use against diseases caused by parasites.
Ms. Honold said that the FDA didn’t purport to require anyone to do anything or to prohibit anyone from doing anything.
“What about when it said, ‘No, stop it’?” Circuit Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod, on the panel that is hearing the appeal, asked.
“Why isn’t that a command? If you were in English class, they would say that was a command.”
Ms. Honold described the statements as “merely quips.”
“Can you answer the question, please? Is that a command, ‘Stop it’?” Judge Elrod asked.
“In some contexts, those words could be construed as a command,” Ms. Honold said.
“But in this context, where FDA was simply using these words in the context of a quippy tweet meant to share its informational article, those statements do not rise to the level of a command.”
The statements “don’t prohibit doctors from prescribing ivermectin to treat COVID or for any other purpose” Ms. Honold said. She noted that the FDA, along with the statements, said that people should consult their health care providers about COVID-19 treatments and that they could take medicine if it was prescribed by the provider.
“FDA is clearly acknowledging that doctors have the authority to prescribe human ivermectin to treat COVID. So they are not interfering with the authority of doctors to prescribe drugs or to practice medicine,” she said.
Judge Elrod is on the panel with Circuit Judges Edith Brown Clement and Don Willett. All three were appointed under President Donald Trump.
Federal Law
The plaintiffs are Drs. Paul Marik, Mary Bowden, and Robert Apter. They say they were professionally harmed by the FDA’s statements, including being terminated over efforts to prescribe ivermectin to patients.
Dr. Marik has noted that a number of studies support using ivermectin against COVID-19, as the FDA itself has acknowledged. Some other studies show little to no effect.
Federal law enables the FDA to provide information, such as reports of adverse reactions to drugs, but not medical advice, Mr. Kelson said.
“This is something the FDA has never been able to do. And it’s a bright line,” he told the court, adding later:
“The clearest examples of where they have gone over the line are when they say things like, ‘You are not a horse, you are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.’”
Judges indicated they agree that the FDA lacks the power to give medical advice; Judge Clement said, “You’re not authorized to give medical advice.”
But Ms. Honold said the government “isn’t conceding that in this case.”
She also argued that Congress has empowered the FDA to protect public health and make sure regulated products are safe and effective, giving it the “inherent authority to further its mission by communicating information to the public about safe uses of drugs.”
A ruling in favor of the doctors would prevent the FDA from reporting on consumers suffering after cooking chicken with NyQuil or that opioid addiction is a problem, she claimed.
Mr. Kelson said that wasn’t accurate. “It’s when they step beyond that [and] start telling people how they should or should not be using approved drugs,” he said.
Ms. Honold also said that the courts can’t hold agencies accountable when they provide false or misleading information: “The FDA is politically accountable, just like all other executive agencies.”
Yes, the elite and upper crust Ivy’s have done it again. Despite having $53 billion in the endowment bank, the kids can’t even eat.
Harvard University Encourages Students To Go On Food Stamps, Even Though It’s the Richest School In The World With A $53 Billion Endowment
Harvard University recently organized an event to support graduate students enrolling in government food assistance programs.
The Health Services office sent a flier to graduate students, encouraging them to participate in the SNAP Benefits Sign-Up event in April. The flier read, “Fuel your body & stock your pantry. Did you know that grad students may qualify for assistance paying for food & groceries?”
Harvard University is the wealthiest academic institution globally, boasting an endowment of approximately $53 billion. With such a substantial endowment, Harvard has the means to support a wide array of academic programs, research endeavors, scholarships and initiatives.
The Harvard Graduate Students Union (HGSU) expressed its view, advocating for more substantial measures to assist graduate students, primarily by increasing their salaries. According to HGSU’s proposal, all graduate student workers should receive a minimum annual salary of $60,000, a significant increase from the current minimum salary of $40,000. The union believes that providing adequate compensation directly to the students would alleviate the need for external assistance programs like SNAP.
The high cost of living in Boston only adds to Harvard students’ struggle. Many people across various professions and walks of life face similar challenges. But the proximity to cutting-edge innovation and opportunities in technology, entrepreneurship and startups presents a potential solution for those seeking to get in at the ground level of the next big thing.
To illustrate how damaging Germany’s transition to renewable energies and the green movement have been, news is out that things are worse than we thought. Yet, don’t expect the climastalinistas to acknowledge this. Quite to the contrary, they’ll just blame all the economic troubles on the green movement going to slowly! In reality, though, slowing the economy is what they’ve wanted all along.
Drop is “much more than expected”
Blackout News here reports on how industrial production in Germany has slumped “much more than economists expected in June” and that “many experts expect this trend to continue in the coming months.”
The results are based on data from the Federal Statistical Office released last Tuesday.
Slump to continue
“Alexander Krüger of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank thinks many companies are even more pessimistic than they were a few weeks ago,” Blackout News adds. “Jörg Krämer of Commerzbank expects a further slump in the economy in the second half of the year.”
Germany’s high energy costs driving inflation
Much of the decline in production is due to sectors hard hit by Germany’s energy policies. One example is the automotive industry because its future is fraught with huge uncertainty as combustion engines are planned to be phased out.
High interest rates dampening construction
The construction sector has been hit hard as well as energy norms and heating regulations for homes threaten to make building even more unaffordable to many. High energy prices also have fueled inflation, which in turn has forced bank interest rates up and made home financing unattractive. Building permits issued for new homes are extremely low.
One bright spot has been the the aerospace sector. But overall the coming months continue to appear especially gloomy for Germany, Europe’s largest economy. High energy costs have also led to many companies moving operations out of the country.
According to analyst Jens-Oliver Niklasch of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, “Industrial performance is rather weak at the moment.”
Until Germany gets back to reality with its energy policies, don’t expect improvement anytime soon. Again, this is what the climastalinistas want.
