Three Dunkin’ workers accused of threatening customers with guns have been arrested, Texas police say. The El Paso Police Department said the incident happened in the Dunkin’ drive-thru at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. A 41-year-old man and his girlfriend were ordering doughnuts, but the woman said an employee was acting “rude” and she asked to speak to the manager, police said in a Dec. 18 news release. The worker responded that he was the manager, using explicit language, according to police. When the couple drove toward the window, the employee came outside, followed by two co-workers. The three workers, ages 17, 19 and 20, brandished handguns toward the couple, police said. “One of the employees chambered a round in the pistol, pointed the gun at the 41-year-old customer, and verbally threatened him, saying, ‘Y’all gonna die tonight,’” officers said.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump cannot appear on the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot “because he engaged in an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.”

“A majority of the court holds that President Trump is disqualified from holding the office of President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” wrote the court. “Because he is disqualified, it would be a wrongful act under the Election Code for the Colorado Secretary of State to list him as a candidate on the presidential primary ballot.”

Section Three states:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

The Colorado Supreme Court just happened to remind people that justices don’t have to be Originalists. After all, if you stick with the plain language in the Constitution you cannot bend it to your will and agenda (I took out the notations):

If the language is clear and unambiguous, then we enforce it as written, and we need not turn to other tools of construction. However, if the provision’s language is reasonably susceptible of multiple interpretations, then it is ambiguous, and we may consider “the textual, structural, and historical evidence put forward by the parties,” and we will construe the provision “in light of the objective sought to be achieved and the mischief to be avoided.”

Section 3 is not ambiguous. Like 99% of the rest of the Constitution it is crystal clear: You cannot hold office if you engaged in an insurrection or rebellion.

Let’s look at the word engaged. Merriam-Webster has six definitions of engaged. The two that best matches the word in section three are “involved in activity” and “involved especially in a hostile encounter.”

A graphic video emerged on December 15 of a Democrat staffer for Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) having anal sex with someone in a United States Senate hearing room in the U.S. Capitol, which is government property and American taxpayer funded. The video showed the staffer naked and on all fours on a table where senators conduct their business. He has since been fired.

2. Porn Web Cam Democrat Virginia Senate Candidate Susanna Gibson

In September, the Washington Post revealed that Susanna Gibson, a Democrat candidate for a Virginia Senate seat and a nurse practitioner, had performed sex acts with her husband for a live online audience on a website called Chaturbate and encouraged viewers to request sex acts and pay them with tips. Some of the videos archived online were as recent as September 30, 2022. Gibson lost her race by fewer than 1,000 votes.

3. Baggy of Cocaine Found in the White House

In July, a baggy of cocaine was found inside the White House West Wing by a Secret Service agent. The Secret Service later claimed there was “insufficient DNA” present and that they could not identify the owner of the baggy. Fox News’s Jesse Watters later claimed documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request showed there were three vials of DNA from the investigation.

4. Trans Influencer Rose Montoya Flashes Breasts at White House Picnic

Just a month before Cocaine-Gate, a trans influencer at a Pride event at the White House flashed his fake breasts at a White House event that also hosted children. The trans influencer, Rose Montoya, pulled down his dress and grabbed his fake breasts, according to a video that was widely circulated on social media. The White House was forced to condemn the act and ban Montoya from visiting the White House again.

5. Navy Enlists Drag Queen Influencer to Recruit More Sailors

In May, the Navy revealed that it recruited a “drag queen influencer” as part of a pilot program to help recruit more people. The influencer, who is an active duty sailor named Joshua Kelley, goes by the name “Harpy Daniels” and had performed for other service members during deployments on ships.

6. Democrat Mayor Arrested on Child-Porn Related Charges

In March the former Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, was arrested on dozens of charges of possessing and distributing child porn. The former mayor — reportedly a mentee of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg — has been photographed with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and other high-profile Democrats. He resigned prior to his arrest. He was sentenced to 30 years in jail last month.

7. Non-Binary Biden Senior Official and BDSM-Practitioner Caught Stealing Luggage

In December 2022, top Biden Department of Energy official and dog-play fetishist Sam Brinton was caught stealing luggage at a Las Vegas airport. In April, the now-former Biden official agreed in a plea deal to pay the victim nearly $3,670 and received a suspended jail sentence of 180 days and probation.

8. Army Colonel Exposed in Pup-Play 

In December 2022, it was exposed that an Army colonel had taken photos of himself in uniform in a dog mask, including in what appeared to be an official Army photo. An account called @Nova_Campaigns exposed the colonel, who had since retired. The retired colonel had numerous photos of himself in a dog mask and uniform, posing with junior service members. The Army said it was investigating the photos, but the outcome of that investigation is not known.

9. Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo Faced Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

In 2021, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo faced allegations of sexual harassment, including that he groped former female staffers. Cuomo resigned over the allegations. Investigators said he “subjected women to unwanted kisses; groped their breasts or buttocks or otherwise touched them inappropriately; made insinuating remarks about their looks and their sex lives; and created a work environment ‘rife with fear and intimidation.’”

There is also no shortage of Democrat sex scandals predating the Biden administration.

In December 2020, Axios revealed that an alleged Chinese Communist Party spy named Fang Fang had targeted Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) — getting so close that she was able to place interns in his office. Swalwell has never addressed allegations that his relationship with the alleged Chinese spy was sexual.

In March 2020, former Democrat Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillum was found inebriated in a Miami Beach hotel room with a man who had overdosed. Police found three bags of drugs suspected to be crystal meth. Photos of Gillum later emerged, showing Gillum lying in his own vomit on the floor. He later said he was bisexual.

In 2019, Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) was revealed to have been engaging in a “throuple” with her then-husband and a former female staffer. Numerous photos of Hill emerged, including one of her nude and brushing her former staffer’s hair. Hill resigned amid the controversy.

Other famous Democrats embroiled in scandal include former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who was busted for sending women sexually suggestive photos of himself in underwear, and embattled Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who has faced allegations of not paying prostitutes and patronizing underage prostitutes.

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in 2008 after it was revealed that he had patronized a prostitution ring, and former President Bill Clinton was impeached after his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky was revealed in 1998 after Clinton was sued by Paula Jones, a former Arkansas state employee, in 1997.

FAFO Chronicles – Major Law Firm No Longer Hires Harvard Grads

Edelson PC, a major national law firm representing plaintiffs, said it will no longer participate in on-campus recruiting events at Harvard Law School, citing how the university president refused to condemn calls for the genocide of Jews before Congress. 

“Regrettably, I must address a recent incident that has deeply concerned us. We, along with the rest of the nation, observed Dr. Claudine Gay’s testimony before Congress, wherein she refused to unequivocally state that advocating for genocide would breach the school’s code of conduct,” the law firm’s founder, Jay Edelson, wrote in a letter last week to Harvard Law’s recruitment office.

Edelson acknowledged that Gay apologized days after the hearing following her statements that calling for the genocide of Jews depended “on the context” as to whether it violated Harvard’s rules against bullying and harassment. 

“Despite her belated apology, the gravity of her initial response cannot be overlooked. As an expert in political and social studies, Dr. Gay certainly knew to expect the types of questions that would be asked of her,” Edelson wrote in his letter.

A Democrat congressman has called for the American people to be issued with the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “digital ID” system.

During a recent House Financial Services Committee hearing, Rep. Bill Foster (D-IL) pushed for the federal government to roll out the “digital ID” system.

While making his pitch for the authoritarian technology, Foster suggested that the ID database should be “biometrically synced” to the smartphones of the general public.

During the hearing, several government officials shared updates on their work on digital ID and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

The two types of technology have the potential to give the government unprecedented levels of control and surveillance power.

The digital ID system is being led by the WEF and the unelected globalist organization’s members have been pushing for the system to be fully integrated with “digital cash.”

“Cashless societies” is a key component of the WEF’s “Agenda 2030.”

The group envisions a near future where members of the public must rely on their CBDC-linked digital ID if they wish to partake in regular society.

As Slay News previously reported, one of the world’s most powerful bankers gloated to his WEF associates that plans to eliminate physical cash will allow government bureaucrats and corporate power elites to gain “absolute control” over the global population through the use of digital money.

During a panel discussion in 2021, Agustin Carstens, the General Manager of the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) and a World Economic Forum (WEF) member, discussed the “advantages” of a “cashless society.”

Carstens boasts that by getting rid of cash and using CBDCs, governments and their financial oligarchs will be able to track purchases globally of the digital ID-monitored public and see exactly who’s buying what.

They’ll also be able to fulfill their longtime goal of having “absolute control” over financial transactions, he adds.

“We don’t know who’s using a $100 bill today and we don’t know who’s using a 1,000 peso bill today,” the Mexican moneyman said, bemoaning the anonymity of cash.

Americans eat an extra meal every day — just by snacking too much

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A concerning new study reveals American adults are adding an “extra” meal to their plates every day — simply by snacking too much. Researchers from The Ohio State University analyzed data from over 20,000 individuals and discovered that Americans consume between 400 and 500 calories from snacks daily, often surpassing the caloric intake of breakfast and lacking nutritional value.

“The magnitude of the impact isn’t realized until you actually look at it,” says study senior author Christopher Taylor, a professor of medical dietetics in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Ohio State, in a university release. “Snacks are contributing a meal’s worth of intake to what we eat without it actually being a meal. You know what dinner is going to be: a protein, a side dish or two. But if you eat a meal of what you eat for snacks, it becomes a completely different scenario of, generally, carbohydrates, sugars, not much protein, not much fruit, not a vegetable. So it’s not a fully well-rounded meal.”

The study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which collects detailed 24-hour dietary recalls. It categorized participants based on their HbA1c level, an indicator of glucose control, into groups such as nondiabetes, prediabetes, controlled diabetes, and poorly controlled diabetes. Findings showed that snacks accounted for 19.5 to 22.4 percent of total energy intake, primarily consisting of convenience foods, sweets, and sugary beverages.

An interesting observation was that individuals controlling their Type 2 diabetes tended to snack less and consume fewer sugary foods compared to those without diabetes or with prediabetes.

The top schools are looking for X classes and interests, not Y classes and interests, so stop being interested in Y and focus on X. No, that’s not the kind of volunteer experience that the top schools want to see. No, that’s the wrong hobby, the wrong sport, the wrong summer. Credentialing is an industry, and young people are being taught to perform their lives within the expected lines. “The Ivies want to see your passion for social justice.” So be sure to show that.

Pfizer’s mRNA Injections Reduced the Risk of COVID-19 Disease by Less than 1% Compared to Placebo

Per Pfizer’s interim 2-month, Phase-3 data that they submitted to the FDA on November 20, 2020, Pfizer was measuring the effectiveness of their mRNA injection from preventing COVID-19 symptoms confirmed by a positive PCR-test versus placebo (aka, not getting injected with mRNA-LNPs).

You can see from the chart below (pulled directly from Pfizer’s FDA submission) that 8 out of 17,411 participants (0.05%) in the Pfizer mRNA injected group came down with COVID-19 symptoms confirmed by a positive PCR-test within 2 months or less after their second mRNA shot, versus 162 out of 17,511 (0.93%) in the placebo group.

The world knows mRNA Covid shots have failed

This morning, Pfizer disappointed investors by saying it expects sales of its mRNA Covid jab to plunge again in 2024. Annual sales of Pfizer’s shot and anti-Covid drug Paxlovid will fall 35 percent next year – on the heels of an 80 percent collapse this year.

The announcement is an embarrassment for Pfizer executives, marking the third time in only three months they have had to rachet down expectations for Covid sales.

Investors expect public companies to be able to predict their sales at least six months to a year in advance. But collapsing mRNA demand keeps catching Pfizer off-guard.

Kelce’s “two things at once” spot encourages people to take both flu and Covid jabs at the same doctor’s visit – unsubtly linking the mRNAs with old-style inactivated virus flu shots, which have far fewer side effects.

But would-be recipients have not been fooled. While mRNA demand has collapsed, demand for flu shots remains solid (despite strong evidence of their uselessness).

Only two years ago, the mRNAs were among the world’s most desirable products, and hipsters proudly branded themselves “Team Pfizer” or “Team Moderna.”

COP28 – After 2 Weeks, Historic climate deal does the ‘bare minimum’

In recent years, every COP had been dominated by an angry motion from the radicals, which was ultimately defeated in the final hours. Ironically these noisy motions tend actually to inhibit progress on the big green agenda, so I welcome them.

COP 28 was no different. The basic idea was to finally mention fossil fuels in the final statement after 27 COPS did not  so. Makes sense, given that burning fossil fuels are the supposed reason for the climate alarm.

Seemed simple enough, but the radicals had to go full bore on it. They demanded an agreement to actually phase out fossil fuels. Out in the sense of none. No oil, no gas, no coal, nothing.

To see how radical this phase-out stuff really is, note that the alarmist abomination called net zero does not do this. The net in net zero specifically allows for future fossil fuel emissions, provided these are offset in some way. Moreover, it allows for unlimited fossil fuel use if carbon capture can ever be made to work. Net zero is about emissions, not fuel.

Moreover, a lot of fossil fuels are used as petrochemical feedstock, which does not create CO2 emissions. As my colleague Ron Stein strenuously points out, petrochemical products are fundamental to our way of life. Phasing out fossil fuels would mean ending petrochemicals.

A lot of countries objected to this radical phase-out insistence. Some were oil and gas producers, and the radical press focused on them. But a bunch of others were countries that rightly saw fossil fuel as powering economic improvement. This humanitarian side of the argument seldom got reported.

There was an exquisite moment in the middle of all this mindless ho-ha. The moderate President of COP 28 had said there was no science supporting the need to obliterate fossil fuel use. The radicals were outraged and said so.

How scary is a new paper showing mRNA Covid shots accidentally cause our bodies to make many different proteins and not just the Covid spike, as the shot’s promoters have claimed for three years?

Scary enough the paper’s authors began spinning their work as soon as they put it out. University of Cambridge professor Anne Willis, the study’s co-senior author, told reporters that mRNA “technology is amazing and it’s going to be revolutionary… but we’ve just made it a whole lot safer going forward.”

In all, almost 10 percent of the proteins that the mRNA Covid jabs make the body produce appear to be “wrong,” rather than the intended spike protein.

In the Cell paper, the authors show that neither Covid-19 itself nor the DNA-based Covid vaccine from AstraZeneca produce similar proteins. The effect is limited to the mRNAs.

The authors also reported they could find a biological response to the wrong proteins in mice and in humans. They warned that these proteins “could activate T cells that target host cells,” and that their other effects “could include increased production of new B cell antigens.”

T and B cells form the core of our immune system. In other words, the mRNA jabs may accidentally cause the body to attack its own tissues, as well as make antibodies that don’t work against the spike protein.

BRITISH men have become the first in the world to enter early trials of a “holy grail” contraceptive pill for blokes.

The pill, named YCT-529, works by blocking the vitamin A supply to the testicles to halt sperm production.

There are currently no male contraceptive drugs so inventors hope this will one day be a popular alternative to the female pill and condoms.

It is the first candidate not to contain hormones and was found to be 99 per cent effective and 100 per cent reversible in experiments on mice and monkeys.

Experts are now testing its safety in humans for the first time, on a group of 16 men enrolled at a clinic in Nottingham.

Inventor Dr Gunda Georg, from the University of Minnesota, said: “This could be a historic moment.

“The last innovation in contraception was the birth control pill for women, and that was more than 60 years ago.

Hillary Clinton’s fall class at Columbia University felt more like being in a “late-night talk show” audience than a college course, one of many complaints from underwhelmed students, according to a Huffington Post op-ed published Sunday.

Clinton did not read students’ assignments, attend discussion sessions, or hold office hours, and students complained that their questions about controversial topics were avoided, according to the piece.

The column by student Cate Twining-Ward was headlined: “I Thought Taking A Class Taught By Hillary Clinton Would Be Empowering. I Was Wrong.” Twining-Ward expressed her disappointment about the class and interviewed a few of her peers, one of whom said, “I could have learned everything just from reading her memoir.”

The class, “Inside the Situation Room,” taught by Clinton and international relations Professor Keren Yarhi-Milo, focused on “how to analyze and understand the complex interplay between individual psychology, domestic politics, public opinion, bureaucracy, the international environment, and other factors which feed into decisions about foreign policy,” according to the course description.

But Twining-Ward said it “wasn’t really a class — it was a production.”

A filming crew recorded every class, and their equipment tear-down cut half an hour from every session, she wrote.

“Together in class and on tape, we acted much like an audience at a late-night talk show, distracted by the cameras and yet immersed in the vanity of the production,” Twining-Ward wrote. “We followed an unspoken script where we were both active and passive at once — expected to laugh at certain anecdotes, but not encouraged to raise our hands.”

What Does HA! Mean On A Text? (Or the Worst Single Word Answers)

Ha!

I first got this answer in a text from one of my kids and thought it was only a millennial thing.  They make up text stuff as do the Gen-X, Y, Z and the rest of the alphabet kids.  I didn’t pay attention as they text me all kinds of stuff.  I excuse kids because, well… kids (and also millennials).

I have been getting this recently from people old enough to act like grown-ups (see who below) but don’t, and I realized it was being used in a dismissive context.

My searches found it to be short for HAHAHA (or HAHA depending on the source), Hello Again, hectares and other various dribble, but my intuition was confirmed when I found this;

This is how the (inarguable! non-negotiable!) list of the Worst Single Word-And/Or-Letter-Expressions To Type Online starts out: 1) K, 2) Nah, 3) :p, 4) Uh, 5) lol, and 6) Ha/Heh.

Ha is interchangeable between the sexes, but both sexes know exactly what these words really mean without the explanation.  K (while meaning OK)was kind of an F-you and the others are sort of meh.

Why is HA! an insult?

The dreaded Reddit gave up this gem: When I have experienced a ‘ha’ it’s usually a lack of interest in having a conversation with me. :/

So, it’s a round about way of saying piss off, I am done with you and/or this conversation.

MEN VS. WOMEN

It is pretty evident that females are more verbal than men.

When boys hit puberty, their responses to most things generally get boiled down to um, ugh, hrrmmph or other monosyllabic answers.  Some get more verbal as they finish suffering through those years and move out from their parents.  Most however can revert back to this form of communication as adults if distracted by sports, TV, video games or a laundry list of available options.  I could take a ha easier from a boy than a girl.  They just don’t talk that much.  The millennial boys don’t use it as much.

Females tend to be more verbal.  They talk their way to the answers instead of men, who think about the subject, tossing out the bad options and then giving an actual/meaningful answer.  So, if you get a one word answer like Ha from any girl of any age, it’s not good for you nor was it meant to be polite.

I pushed my eldest to see if she’d ever used it to blow somebody off and she said maybe, followed by probably.  In her dictionary, that means yes.  I had used the word dismissive in the question so there was no misunderstanding.  She is hip to culture (millennial) so knew it was true.

When I get ha from adults over 50, I pretty much get their drift. I just close the text and move on until they want to grow up or actually have an adult conversation.  I don’t have the time for this childishness.

As I suspected, ha is a single word equating to “I’ll let you go now” the on phone or best wishes.  I also means I don’t want to text anymore and this lets you think something witty was said while giving you the finger.  I got news for you, it wasn’t.  I knew what you meant which is why I don’t want to continue and doubt whether you are mature.

People are assholes sometimes.

Facebook’s former diversity program manager has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $4 million from the company through fake business deals in exchange for kickbacks to fund a luxurious lifestyle, federal prosecutors said Tuesday. 

Barbara Furlow-Smiles, 38, served as the lead strategist, global head of employee resource groups and diversity engagement at the social media giant while she orchestrated the scheme, the Justice Department said. From January 2017 through September 2021, she led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs at Facebook and was responsible for developing and executing DEI initiatives, operations, and engagement programs.

“Furlow-Smiles used lies and deceit to defraud both vendors and Facebook employees,” said Keri Farley, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Atlanta office. “The FBI works hard to make sure greed like this doesn’t pay off and those who commit fraud are held accountable.”

Furlow-Smiles committed the fraud by linking PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App accounts to credit cards given to her by Facebook and used those accounts to pay friends, relatives, former interns at a prior job, nannies, babysitters, a hairstylist and others for goods and services that were never provided to the company, a federal complaint states.

The Biden administration has once again delayed banning menthol cigarettes, infuriating officials of public health groups who say the products are responsible for taking hundreds of thousands of American lives.

On Wednesday, the White House quietly updated its Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs website to reflect that any final ban on menthol wouldn’t take place until at least March. Even then, it’s expected to take years for menthol products to be off store shelves. The ban was previously supposed to take effect by the end of December.

Harvard Guarantees Mediocrity, Anti-semitism And Wokeness

Harvard University announced Tuesday that under-fire President Claudine Gay will keep her job — even after reportedly losing more than $1 billion in donations since her disastrous congressional testimony about antisemitism.

The Harvard Corporation — the university’s highest governing body — made its announcement Tuesday following night-long talks between Gay and university leaders, a source familiar with the decision told the student newspaper, the Harvard Crimson.

“As members of the Harvard Corporation, we today reaffirm our support for President Gay’s continued leadership of Harvard University. Our extensive deliberations affirm our confidence that President Gay is the right leader to help our community heal and to address the very serious societal issues we are facing,” the group said in a statement.

It acknowledged that the university should have released an “immediate, direct and unequivocal condemnation” of Hamas’ terror attack on Oct. 7, noting “Calls for genocide are despicable and contrary to fundamental human values” — in apparent contrast to Gay’s testimony last week.

Ackman, the CEO of Pershing Square, has made a name for himself as an outspoken critic of Ivy League presidents whom he accuses of failing to stamp out antisemitism on campuses.

That escalated after Gay, Magill and Massachusetts Institute of Technology President Sally Kornbluth failed to condemn calls for the genocide of Jews at their schools during a fiery congressional hearing.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The prospect of a deal to end fossil fuels faded on Monday in the oil-rich United Arab Emirates, when organizers of the U.N. climate summit released a draft proposal that merely suggested reducing them instead.

That outcome would fall far short of the demands that environmental groups, the U.S., the European Union and vulnerable island nations had laid out before the COP28 summit in Dubai, with some activists saying the talks would be a failure if they did not call for phasing out the production of coal, oil and natural gas.

The draft “really doesn’t meet the expectations of this COP in terms of the urgently needed transition to clean sources of energy and the phaseout of fossil fuels,” U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said during a fractious, closed-door meeting late Monday night and early Tuesday, which POLITICO listened to via an unsanctioned feed.

I’m not going to get into the Ford/Chevy debate. This is about ICE (internal combustion engine) vs EV’s. A 7.3 liter V8 monster.

I’m old school and like to hear the growl of a powerful engine. EV’s are fast, but lack the sensory overload you get with the sound and smell of a powerful ICE.

Once Again, Google Lied

Google admits that a Gemini AI demo video was staged

There was no voice interaction, nor was the demo happening in real time.

Google is counting on its very own GPT-4 competitor, Gemini, so much that it staged parts of a recent demo video. In an opinion piece, Bloomberg says Google admits that for its video titled “Hands-on with Gemini: Interacting with multimodal AI,” not only was it edited to speed up the outputs (which was declared in the video description), but the implied voice interaction between the human user and the AI was actually non-existent.

Instead, the actual demo was made by “using still image frames from the footage, and prompting via text,” rather than having Gemini respond to — or even predict — a drawing or change of objects on the table in real time. This is far less impressive than the video wants to mislead us into thinking, and worse yet, the lack of disclaimer about the actual input method makes Gemini’s readiness rather questionable.

When I worked in Tech, I crossed paths with Google from time to time. Their CEO at the time told me a lot of what they say is not true, like do no evil. They do a lot of evil. Stay away from them as much as you can. They are like a Hydra.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has now brought a suit to bring accountability for the fraud that resulted in record profits for the pharmaceutical industry. Last week, he filed a complaint alleging that Pfizer misrepresented Covid vaccine efficacy and “conspired to censor public discourse” in violation of Texas’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).

While Big Pharma enjoys immense government-provided insulation from legal liability for vaccine injuries, it cannot lie to promote those products.

Paxton alleges that the $75 billion Pfizer has raked in through sales of Covid vaccines were the “direct and proximate result” of the company’s deceit.

The DTPA requires Paxton prove two questions to succeed in his case. First, he must establish that the company lied or failed to disclose known information concerning its Covid vaccine. Second, he must prove that the company’s fraud was designed to promote sales of the shots.

EVs Have 79% More Reliability Problems Than Gas Vehicles

(Natural News)—Electric vehicles are failing to live up to their promise, with a new report from Consumer Reports showing that they have an incredible 79 percent more problems than their conventional counterparts, in addition to being less reliable.

Plug-in hybrids fared even worse, registering 146 percent more problems than vehicles with traditional internal combustion engines.

According to Consumer Reports, the least reliable type of vehicle overall was electric pickup trucks.

They reached this conclusion based on a survey they conducted among members about issues they have had with their vehicles during the past year. Data from more than 330,000 vehicles with model years from 2000 onward was included in the assessment.

Their study involved 20 types of issues that range from minor nuisances like squeaky brakes to significant issues such as battery and charging problems and transmission issues, which were given a greater weight than minor issues. Consumer Reports noted that the charging problems they considered were those related to the vehicles themselves rather than public or home chargers.

“As more EVs hit the marketplace and automakers build each model in greater numbers, we are seeing that some of them have problems with the EV drive system motors, EV charging systems, and EV batteries (which are different from the low-power 12-volt batteries that power accessories),” Consumer Reports noted.

Predictably, The Demand For Electric Cars Is Imploding

Electric vehicles are not nearly as popular as their advocates would have had us believe, as sales are now slumping in the face of rising interest rates and a lack of so-called fast chargers. As we begin to bump up against mined mineral constraints and international relations complications, there’s no doubt the cost of making these glorified toys will continue to rise. A recent Consumer Reports publication shows that, over the last 3 model years, electric vehicles are less reliable than normal gasoline and diesel vehicles. So, several states want to ban the sale of reliable, inexpensive gas and diesel cars and force us to buy less reliable electric cars. Note well that the superior reliability of hybrids is likely down to the fact that car makers who are better known for their reliability make more hybrids. There’s nothing inherent to a hybrid that would make it more reliable than a gasoline engine vehicle. 

Even our ability to travel using air travel is under the gun. A CNN op-ed recently floated the idea of limiting air travel through the use of carbon (read: sin) passports. We will be limited to traveling based on the amount of carbon dioxide emitted during the flight. The author wants this applied to cruise ships as well. It’s not hard to see this applied to your car as well. Of course, such rules will not apply to the super-wealthy climate grifters. They’ll be jetting all over the globe for their very important climate conferences.

And it’s not just transportation. In September, Reuters “fact checked” a claim that US cities had agreed to limit meat consumption, finding the claim false. And yet, we are told on a nearly daily basis that eliminating beef consumption is necessary to save the planet. The sin of using coal (but not apparently to create steel) has become the sin of eating a steak. What’s next? Rice? Pork?

Beginning in 2024, the German government will empower local electricity providers to limit the flow of electricity to heat pumps and electric cars. Such limits were the stuff of alleged conspiracy theories mere months ago. Now they’re a reality. Germany’s suicidal attempt to power their grid with nothing but wind and solar, killing off their own nuclear power generation over the last 20 years, has led to energy rationing. It’s not as if this is unpredictable. The unreliability of so-called renewables is common knowledge among energy experts. 

It’s sensible for those who are concerned about their ability to choose where and when they travel, what they eat, and when they turn on their heaters and air conditioners to be skeptical of every single attempt to accrue more power by state and federal governments. That skepticism should turn into activism against these power grabs. Anyone who tells you these power grabs aren’t coming is telling you not to believe your own eyes.

Oklahoma law enforcement officer David Dewitt is on the wrong side of the law after an alleged sex toy store fight.

The Pottawatomie County sheriff’s commander was charged with assault and battery after an alleged incident in Oklahoma City at Christie’s Toy Box, according to Fox25.

Dewitt allegedly entered the store with a woman and repeatedly argued with her when she wanted to purchase something…..for possibly the funniest reason imaginable.

The issue was the main sex toy in question the woman wanted was “bigger than him.”

That led to Dewitt allegedly raising his hands in threatening fashion, and a clerk intervened. The Oklahoma LEO responded by stating, “Fuck you, I’m a cop.”

Eventually, the situation cooled down before eventually going off the rails when the clerk asked Dewitt if he needed batteries for the sex toy, according to the same report.

Dewitt allegedly asked the clerk, “What the f**k you say to me, fat boy?” He then allegedly attacked the clerk and repeatedly struck him in the face and ribs.

He was eventually arrested but not before telling the clerk, “Call the f*cking cops. I’m an officer of the law. You don’t f*cking assault me. I can have you arrested, jailed to where you never get out.”

Yes, threatening a guy with life in prison after allegedly beating the hell out of him over a sex toy. Very rational, normal and calm.

Penn loses $100 million donation after antisemitism hearing

The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) lost a major $100 million donation on Thursday amid the fallout from Penn President Liz Magill’s comments at a recent House hearing on campus antisemitism.

In a letter to Penn Senior Vice President Wendy White, lawyers for Ross Stevens, the founder and CEO of Stone Ridge Asset Management, said Stevens would be withdrawing his gift, now valued at about $100 million, that was expected to fund the Stevens Center for Innovation in Finance.

Stevens’s lawyers allege Penn violated the terms of Stone Ridge’s limited partner agreement with the school.

“Mr. Stevens and Stone Ridge are appalled by the University’s stance on antisemitism on campus,” Stevens’s lawyers wrote. “Its permissive approach to hate speech calling for violence against Jews and laissez faire attitude toward harassment and discrimination against Jewish students would violate any policies or rules that prohibit harassment and discrimination based on religion, including those of Stone Ridge.”

The letter noted Stevens and Stone Ridge would be open to discussing the matter further and would give the school the chance to “remedy” its alleged violations of the agreement.

“Until then, there can be no meaningful discussion about remedying the University’s ongoing failure to honor its obligations,” attorneys Neil Barr and Dana M. Seshens wrote.

Stevens is a graduate of Penn and also has a child who recently graduated from the school. Another one of his children is a junior at the university.

“Absent a change in leadership and values at Penn in the very near future, I plan to rescind Penn’s Stone Ridge shares to prevent any further reputational and other damage to Stone Ridge as a result of our relationship with Penn and Liz Magill,” Stevens wrote in a note to his staff on Thursday. “I love Penn and it is important to me, but our firm’s principles are more important.”

According to a May 2015 analysis by their own Energy Information Agency, between 2015 and 2025, the Clean Power Plan would have slashed real gross domestic product by $993 billion, or an average of $39.7 billion per year. It would have sliced real disposable income by $382 billion, or $15.3 billion annually. It also would have chopped manufacturing shipments by $1.13 trillion, or $45.4 billion per year.

The Energy Information Agency forecast a decrease of 0.035 degrees Fahrenheit. This would have cranked a thermometer from 72 degrees Fahrenheit way down to 71.965 degrees.

No Amount Of Subsidies Will Ever Make A Wind/Solar Electricity System Economically Feasible

More COP28 lying….the math never works.

The COP 28 climate confab opened today in Dubai. Some 70,000 true believers in the energy transition are said to be gathering. And not one of them appears to be either willing or able to do the simple arithmetic that shows that this can’t possibly work.

So far, no country that has made a commitment to “net zero” has officially backed off. (Argentina may soon become the first.). Things proceed as if all that is needed is to build sufficient wind and solar generation facilities, until eventually you have enough of them to meet demand. But that’s not how this works. The absurdity becomes more obvious every day. Can somebody please tell the poor people making fools of themselves in Dubai?

Let’s consider the latest from Germany. According to Statista here, Germany consumed 511.59 TWh of electricity in 2021 (latest year given, although the numbers have recently changed very little from year to year). Divide by 8760 (number of hours in a year) and you learn that Germany’s average usage of electricity is 58.3 GW. So, can you just build 58.3 GW of wind and solar generators to supply Germany with electricity?

Absolutely not. In fact, Germany already has way more wind and solar electricity generation capacity than the 58.3 GW, but can’t come anywhere near getting all its electricity from those sources. As of June 2023 Germany had 59.3 GW of generation capacity from wind turbines alone, and (as of end 2022) another 67.4 GW of generation capacity from solar panels. The total of the two is 126.7 GW — which would supply more than double Germany’s usage at noon on a sunny and breezy June 21. But, according to Clean Energy Wire here, through the first three quarters of 2023, the percent of its electricity that Germany got from wind and solar was only 52%. Capacity seemingly sufficient to supply double the usage in fact only supplies half. That’s because the supply does not come at the same time as the demand, and the wind/solar generation system provides no mechanism to shift the supply to a time to meet the demand.

And why doesn’t Germany just double the amount of its wind/solar generation, so that those sources would go from supplying 52% of usage to 100%. Because it doesn’t work that way. If they double the wind and solar generation, then on the sunny/breezy June 21 mid-day they will now have over 250 GW of electricity generation — more than 4 times what they need — so they will have to discard or give away the rest. But on a calm night in January, they will still have nothing and need full backup from some other source. Multiplying the wind/solar generation capacity by 10 or even 100 (referred to as “overbuilding”) will increase the costs of the system exponentially, but will never be enough to keep the lights on all the time. Or you can try energy storage to save up the surpluses to cover the deficits, but that also multiplies the costs of the system exponentially. Alongside this, the study’s cohort showed a marked decline in working memory, which is crucial for short-term memory storage and various cognitive processes.

“Significant worsening of executive function and working memory was observed in the first year of the pandemic across the whole cohort, in people with mild cognitive impairment, and in people with a history of COVID-19,” the authors wrote.

The negative impact on cognitive function persisted into the second year, notably concerning executive function across the entire cohort and working memory within specific subgroups.

Cognitive Decline

Key factors for this cognitive decline were identified via regression analyses. Those factors included the fact that, amid lockdowns, people were exercising less and consuming more alcohol across the entire cohort. These factors also contributed to more people experiencing loneliness and depression.

The authors noted that concerns were expressed about the neuropsychological effects of the pandemic social restrictions, with particular respect to the context of potentially increased dementia risk in older adults.

To begin with, getting to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was more challenging than normal for some participants…as Germany experienced a record-breaking level of snowfall for any December in recorded history.

The airport in Munich resumed limited operations Sunday morning after being closed for nearly a day because of record snowfall that disrupted transportation across the region.

About 17 inches of snow fell in parts of southern Germany on Saturday, an unusually large amount for early December, and what local news media reported was the biggest daily snowfall in Munich in December since records had been kept.

Then, he lets out the only gas that is dangerous while making specious claims.

Al Gore gets in on the hoax:

In a desperate bid to remain relevant, former Vice President Al Gore slammed the UAE, saying its position as overseer of international negotiations on global warming this year was an abuse of public trust.

The comments, made to Reuters in an interview on the sidelines of the conference in Dubai, reflected skepticism among some delegates that COP28 President Sultan al-Jaber, head of the UAE’s national oil company ADNOC, can be an honest broker of a climate deal.

“They are abusing the public’s trust by naming the CEO of one of the largest and least responsible oil companies in the world as head of the COP,” Gore said.

But, the truth comes out anyway:

There is “no science” that says the world should phase out fossil fuels to curb global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, according to Sultan Al Jaber, the president of the COP28 climate summit, the Guardian and the Centre for Climate Reporting report.

“There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve 1.5C,” Al Jaber said in an online event last month, the remarks from which the Guardian reported on December 3, days after the COP28 summit in Dubai began on November 30.

Al Jaber made those comments in response to questions from Mary Robinson, the chair of the Elders group and a former UN special envoy for climate change.

Pfizer classifies its own C19 modRNA product as “highly dangerous”

The modRNA products are moved through the body with the help of so-called lipid nanoparticles and transfected into the cells. The two lipids used by Pfizer, ALC-0159 and ALC-0315, had no approval before 2020 except for “research purposes”. In Pfizer’s safety data sheets they are assigned a medium toxic potential; in the syringe they cause a “high toxic potential.” It’s unbelievable that the authorities would allow something like this to be injected into the upper arms.

TKP published a detailed analysis on December 9, 2021. It quotes the company that produces these lipids. She writes on her website: “ALC-0159 is one of the components of the BNT162b2 vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, along with ALC-0315, DSPC and cholesterol. This product is for research use only and not for human use.”

And further: ALC-0159 and ALC-0315 are discussed in the EMA Assessment Report for the first conditional marketing authorization starting on page 22.

“All excipients except the functional lipids ALC-0315 and ALC-0159 and the structural lipid DSPC comply with the Ph. Eur. The functional lipids ALC-0315 and ALC-0159 are classified as novel excipients. The two structural lipids DSPC and cholesterol are used in several finished products that have already been approved.”

COP28 Update, King Chucklehead III Wants 5 Trillion For NetZero Hoax

The Paris Agreement adopted in December 2015 during the COP21 climate conference stipulates that the increase in the global average temperature is to be kept well below 2°C above “pre-industrial levels” and that efforts are pursued to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above “pre-industrial levels.”

However, as former renewable energy manager and head of the German Wildlife Foundation Fritz Vahrenholt discovered in 2017, closer inspection of the treaty text reveals that the term “pre-industrial levels” is nowhere defined in this epochal UN document.

FURTHER EVIDENCE HE IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH REALITY

It could have been worse. King Charles could have ascended to his desert dais and pronounced that we had just 96 months to avert “irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse”. But that was the Right Charlie back in 2009, giving us the benefit of his sandwich-board scientific wisdom. These days it is all fashionable bad weather and undefined “tipping points”. The man is now King, and at COP28 he threw away his irksome politically-neutral constitutional role, wrapped himself in Guardianista pseudoscience, and punched down hard on the poor who will be forced to pay for the collectivist madness that is the Net Zero project.

Speaking at COP28, he said: “The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth.” As with many know-your-place elitists, he appears to abhor the impacts that humans have on the planet. He exhibits, sadly on a world stage, a snobbish distain for capitalism – what used to be dismissed in British aristocratic circles as ‘trade’. This capitalist trend over the last 200 years has harnessed the power of natural hydrocarbons to raise billions to a standard of living and health unimaginable to previous generations. In 2009, Charles said we can no longer afford consumerism and the “age of convenience” was over.

Not for the new British King, it need hardly be observed. He lives a life of pampered indulgence where no expense is spared to ensure his every comfort. On his accession to the throne, he added considerably to his Palace Portfolio. To spread his malevolent Net Zero fantasies, he has a fleet of cars, private planes and even a personal train at his command. He uses these to call for “transformational action” to be taken to save the planet. In his COP28 speech, he called for the restoration of nature, the need for sustainable agriculture, and co-operation between the public and private sectors.

All you have to do is get in and the super majority are going to get an A. Sure the degrees are lame like gender and African American studies, but that is what you get out of the Ivy League now. Read the story below and you’ll see that a large part of the problem is the professors.

They have gone so woke, condemning Israel and supporting Hamas is more important than an Ivy education.

Why would companies want to hire these graduates? Why do parents waste their money?

A supermajority of undergraduate grades given out at Yale University were an A or A- according to a new report from the student newspaper.

The Yale Daily News obtained a copy of the 2022-23 grades report from an economics professor at the Ivy League university in Connecticut.

The dean of Yale College, the undergraduate branch of the university, acknowledged that professors are not properly grading students. The report shows 78.9 percent of grades given out in the 2022-23 school year were an A or A-. This is a slight dip from the 2020-21 school year when 81.97 percent of grades were above a B.

“As you can see, a large majority of grades in Yale College are in the A range (A or A-),” Dean Pericle Lewis told the student newspaper. “This results in compression, making it difficult for instructors to use grades for their intended purpose of helping students understand areas of strength and others that need attention.”

Professor Ray Fair, who provided the report to the student newspaper, said the inflation is a leftover from the COVID-era. “Some thought [the COVID effect] would be temporary, but it has more or less persisted. [It’s] probably the faculty going easier on students because COVID was a pain,” he told the student newspaper.

By comparison, students in the 2010-11 school year were less likely to earn a graded in the A range. Only 67.23 percent of students that year earned an A or A-.

There is a difference between the hard sciences and the liberal arts, particularly majors such as gender studies and African-American studies.

“In general, STEM subjects seem to have lower percentages of A-range grades, and humanities subjects seem to have higher percentages,” the student newspaper reported.

For example, only half of economics students achieved an A. Meanwhile, 82.21 percent of African American studies students earned an A or A-, according to the reported data for courses with an “[e]nrollment greater than 500.”

The student newspaper also provided data from several courses with lower enrollment. The numbers show 92.6 percent of gender studies’ grades were in this range.

This is not the only Ivy League that has seen high grades. Harvard University gave 79 percent of students an “A” grade in the 2020-21 school year according to data released this semester. This is a 20 percent increase from a decade ago, as previously reported by The College Fix.

Scholars who oppose grade inflation have reportedly found themselves out of jobs as a result of their decision. This includes former Indiana University-Northwest scholar Mark McPhail and Kendrick Morales at Spelman College.

Some professors have explicitly advocated for easier grading in the name of gender equality.
