Six months after the Democratic Party’s crushing 2024 defeat, the party’s megadonors are being inundated with overtures to spend tens of millions of dollars to develop an army of left-leaning online influencers.

There are already plenty of leftist online influencers and for all the “find the next Rogan” stuff, Rogan was a Bernie supporter. The trouble is that the popular lefty influencers, like Piker or Jackson Hinkle, have views horrifying enough to even make Dems do a double take. Like outright and unequivocal support for Islamic terrorists. (I’m sure Rogan will get there too.)

What the Dems really want are influencers who are left-wing, but not so left-wing they belong in Gitmo. That’s a problem because the spectrum of influencer politics tends to favor the most extreme views possible. So on the one hand you have Candace Owens and a guy who thinks the Nazis should have won the war, and on the other hand you have leftist influencers who want Communism now.

Six months after a stinging nationwide rejection that handed Donald Trump a commanding reelection and fractured their core coalition, the Democratic Party is turning to a new solution: spending $20 million to figure out why young men don’t like them.

The project, codenamed SAM — short for “Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan” – is described in a prospectus obtained by the New York Times. It outlines a massive push to decode the language and culture of disaffected young men, particularly in online spaces, and includes a proposal to buy ads inside video games.

“Above all, we must shift from a moralizing tone,” the document urges.

The effort comes amid widespread Democratic soul-searching after a loss that wasn’t just electoral, but cultural. A recent NBC News poll placed the party’s favorability at just 27 percent, its worst showing in the poll’s 34-year history.

Focus groups show the branding problem is dire. One Georgia man recently summed it up succinctly: “A deer in headlights.” According to messaging consultant Anat Shenker-Osorio, Democrats are consistently described in her focus groups as “sloths,” “tortoises,” and now, apparently, roadkill.

“You stand there and you see the car coming,” the man explained. “But you’re going to stand there and get hit with it anyway.”

Former Harvard Morgue Manager Pleads Guilty To Trafficking Stolen Human Remains

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Cedric Lodge, age 57, of Goffstown, New Hampshire, pled guilty yesterday before Chief United States District Judge Matthew W. Brann to interstate transport of stolen human remains.

According to Acting United States Attorney John Gurganus, Lodge admitted that, from 2018 through at least March 2020, he participated in the sale and interstate transport of human remains stolen from Harvard Medical School morgue, located in Boston, Massachusetts. Lodge, who was then employed as the manager of the Harvard Medical School Morgue, removed human remains, including organs, brains, skin, hands, faces, dissected heads, and other parts, from donated cadavers after they had been used for research and teaching purposes but before they could be disposed of according to the anatomical gift donation agreement between the donor and the school. Lodge took the remains without the knowledge or permission of his employer, the donor, or the donor’s family, and transport the remains to his home in New Hampshire. After he and his wife Denise Lodge sold the remains, they would ship the remains to the buyers in other states or the buyer would take possession directly and transport the remains themselves. Remains stolen and sold by Lodge were transported from the morgue in Boston to locations in Salem, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.

Lodge admitted to having sold remains to Joshua Taylor and Andrew Ensanian, among others. Many of the remains purchased from Lodge were resold for a profit, including to Jeremy Pauley, who previously entered a guilty plea to conspiracy and interstate transportation of stolen human remains.

Several other defendants have previously entered guilty pleas in related cases, including Lodge’s wife, Denise Lodge, Joshua Taylor, Andrew Ensanian, Matthew Lampi, and Angelo Pereyra. Lampi was sentenced to 15 months in prison and Pereyra was sentenced to 18 months. Denise Lodge and Joshua Taylor are still awaiting sentencing. Additionally, Candace Chapman-Scott, who stole remains from an Arkansas crematorium where she was employed and sold them to Pauley in Pennsylvania, entered a plea of guilty in Arkansas federal court and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Harvard University’s links to China, long an asset to the school, have become a liability as the Trump administration levels accusations that its campus is plagued by Beijing-backed influence operations.

On Thursday the administration moved to revoke Harvard’s ability to enroll foreign students, saying it fostered antisemitism and coordinated with the Chinese Communist Party. Among them are Chinese nationals who made up about a fifth of Harvard’s foreign student intake in 2024, the university said.

A U.S. judge on Friday temporarily blocked the administration’s order after the Cambridge, Massachusetts, university sued.

The concerns about Chinese government influence at Harvard are not new. Some U.S. lawmakers, many of them Republicans, have expressed worries that China is manipulating Harvard to gain access to U.S. advanced technology, to circumvent U.S. security laws and to stifle criticism of it in the United States.

“For too long, Harvard has let the Chinese Communist Party exploit it,” a White House official told Reuters on Friday, adding the school had “turned a blind eye to vigilante CCP-directed harassment on-campus.”

Nobody Likes Them In Their Town Anyway

A host of American corporations are backpedaling from their involvement in gay pride events this year amid the Trump administration’s rollback of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts across the country.

There have been a growing number of reports that organizers of major gay pride parades and festivals across the U.S. are scrambling for funds due to several longtime corporate sponsors scaling back their support of LGBTQ events. Some scholars explained to the Daily Caller News Foundation that news of companies pulling back from pride events may reflect a broader shift away from DEI in corporate America.

“We are seeing major companies, in meaningful numbers, either eliminating or modifying their DEI programs, which certainly does include sponsoring LGBTQ+ pride events and so on,” Stefan Padfield, the executive director of the National Center’s Free Enterprise Project, told the DCNF. “I think really the bottom line here is that there has just arisen an awareness on the part of executives that this promotion of these [pride] events runs such a meaningful risk of being perceived as pushing transgender ideology on parents … I think corporations have finally woken up to the reality that that’s a very big risk for them to be taking.”

Harvard Researcher: Harvard Is Totally Corrupt

Is Harvard irredeemable?

Yes, unless they are forced by external forces to reform. 

That’s not the assessment of a conservative curmudgeon or some extreme partisans exacting revenge on institutions filled with lefty lunatics. 

That is what several Harvard professors and researchers who have watched a once-great institution become what it is today–practically totalitarian. 

Omar Sultan Haque, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard researcher, penned a cri de cœur on his Substack arguing that Harvard has betrayed its very reason for being: the search for truth. 

The historic levels of grade inflation on campus also match levels of denial, insularity, truth-inflation, and ideological capture.  For instance, a shorter version of this heterodox essay you are reading at this moment was rejected by the Harvard Crimson. The well meaning editor told me they “didn’t feel this particular piece was a good fit at this particular time”. I wondered, when exactly would be a good time? Faculty job applicants already have to do diversity/DEI loyalty oaths, and students can’t speak their mind in an academic institution. 

Openness to dissenting voices and free inquiry are as rare at Harvard as is spotting the mythical dodo bird of the Ivy League in Harvard Yard: a student who is working class, conservative, religious, rural in origin, heterosexual, and believes their gender matches their biological sex.

Harvard’s motto is, famously, Veritas–Latin for “Truth.” Just like Pravda, come to think of it, and the modern Harvard is as dedicated to truth and the search for truth as Pravda was during the Soviet years. 

In contrast, a partisan think tank is explicitly factional and partial in its aims. There are many think-tanks in America that have explicitly partisan aims and practices, such as the Center for American Progress (liberal), Claremont Institute (conservative), Cato Institute (libertarian), Guttmacher Institute (pro-abortion).  Though intellectually oriented and often producing robust scholarship, these are not universities.  Consistent with their ideologies, these institutes tend to only ask a small range of all possible intellectual questions, and their answers are more predictable than not.  The Guttmacher Institute, for instance, rarely does a study on post-traumatic stress disorder and moral injury after abortions, and the Cato Institute rarely writes reports documenting the needs of the most vulnerable in society and how social safety nets could help.

Harvard, by these standards, is much more like a left wing progressive Institute, than it is a university. In its most passionate moral exhortations, Harvard resembles a secular ideological church. There are some quantitative pockets of flourishing, non-partisan academic life, but in general, Harvard does not live up to the values of a university, and is more like a think tank.

According to the report from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, officials knew as early as February 2021 that the vaccines were associated with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the thin sac surrounding the heart). Still, they waited to warn the public until June as they pushed the vaccine on Americans.

The report concludes that U.S. health officials “knew about the risks of myocarditis,” “downplayed the health concern,” and deliberately “delayed informing the public about the risk.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who chairs the committee and will lead a hearing on it later this afternoon, told The Daily Wire that Biden officials delayed reporting the side effects because they were concerned about “vaccine hesitancy.” 

“But in being concerned about that, they violated the inviolable principle of informed consent,” Johnson said.

Here is the full subcommittee report.  This report never would have been prepared if Democrats had kept control of the Senate last fall.  The Subcommittee on Investigations would have been launching new bogus investigations into Team Trump instead.

Spearheaded by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the official diktat of the DPDS was that the vaccines were “safe and effective.”  They knew better.  The Israelis had started distributing Pfizer vaccines several weeks before we did.  So they knew that vaccinated patients were getting myocarditis with alarming frequency, months before we did.
They were warning Joe’s Muppeteer committee, but that committee wasn’t passing on this warning to the American people.

This is another one of Fauci’s many crimes against humanity, the most evil being his funding of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, using our tax dollars.  That’s how COVID was unleashed upon the world, causing the deaths of 2 million people worldwide, including a million Americans.

Very few government figures in recent history — Hitler, Stalin, Chairman Mao and Pol Pot, for example — have killed more of their own countries’ people.

I was almost one of them.  I spent a month in the hospital, including 72 hours comatose on a ventilator.  Then I had to learn how to walk again, because I’d spent so much time on my back in bed.  This was very difficult at my age.

Millions of Americans, and millions more around the world, suffered terribly from this disease without dying.  Thank you, Dr. Fauci.  Your blanket pre-emptive pardon by the Muppeteer committee’s Autopen evidently shields you from civil liability as well.  How convenient.

The Dark Side Of Denmark’s Welfare State

But the longer I stayed, the more I started noticing cracks. They weren’t always visible at first—more like patterns in conversation, stories from international friends, or the quiet discomfort that settled in certain moments. Coming from the United States, where diversity and individualism are more overtly woven into everyday life, I couldn’t help but notice how the very system that offers so much comfort in Denmark comes with a cost.

The Ghetto Laws: Welfare-Driven Discrimination in Practice

In 2018, Denmark introduced the “Ghettoplanen” (Ghetto Laws), later rebranded as the Parallel Society Laws. These policies target neighborhoods where more than half the residents are of “non-Western” background—a term that includes people from countries outside the EU and North America, even if they were born in Denmark or are second- or third-generation citizens. Children whose grandparents immigrated from places like Turkey, Lebanon, or Somalia are still counted as “non-Western” under the law.

If a neighborhood meets enough criteria—low income, high unemployment, and a “non-Western” majority—it faces state intervention. This can include:

  • Mandatory preschool from age one for all children of “non-Western” descent to instill Danish values,
  • Harsher criminal penalties for offenses committed within these zones,
  • Demolition of public housing and forced relocation of residents to “de-concentrate” immigrant populations, and
  • Restrictions on who can move in, effectively capping the number of “non-Western” residents.

The government claims these measures promote integration, but they operate more like demographic engineering. The message is clear: too much cultural difference in one place is unacceptable.

To someone from the United States, this feels disturbingly familiar. The targeted housing policies, the coded language about “undesirable neighborhoods,” the use of state power to reshape communities—it all echoes redlining. The difference is that in Denmark, it isn’t a buried legacy. It’s law, in force today, designed to preserve cultural homogeneity. And while the justification is social cohesion, the result is a system that penalizes people for their ancestry.

When Difference Becomes a Liability

Welfare states like Denmark’s aren’t built on taxes alone—they rest on a shared cultural foundation. The social contract assumes a common understanding of how to live: shared values, similar behaviors, and a broadly uniform way of life. While that foundation can foster trust and cohesion, it also creates pressure to conform.

Visible difference—whether in language, religion, dress, or worldview—can unsettle that cohesion. And instead of adapting to diversity, Denmark often manages it through policies and social norms that nudge immigrants and their children toward assimilation. In practice, it’s not just an invitation to integrate—it’s a demand. The result is a system where those who don’t—or can’t—fully assimilate face quiet exclusion. A nail artist from Nepal told me she’s struggled to make Danish friends despite living here for years. Friends of mine who are South Asian or Middle Eastern are routinely denied entry to clubs under vague excuses like “it’s full,” while white Danes enter with ease.

These aren’t isolated experiences. According to the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, migrants in Denmark report higher levels of discrimination than the EU average. And despite topping global rankings in welfare provision and institutional trust, Denmark scores near the bottom when it comes to multicultural integration.

Much of this exclusion is hard to see. It’s not enforced through loud rhetoric or explicit laws, but through daily interactions, housing policy, and unspoken expectations. The discrimination is systemic, subtle, and often unacknowledged—and that silence makes it harder to confront. At the heart of this pressure to conform is Janteloven, a deeply rooted cultural code that discourages standing out or asserting individuality. While it promotes humility on the surface, it also reinforces social and cultural sameness. For many Danes, it creates cohesion; for outsiders, it can feel like an invisible wall. Combined with state policies that reward uniformity, Janteloven helps preserve a society that appears egalitarian but quietly resists pluralism.

Pissing At The Side Of The Road, Why I Broke Up With My Girlfriend

I was dating what was to be my last girlfriend before I met my wife. Claudia.

We’d met through a mutual friend and I wasn’t seeing anyone so I was up for anything. My life at the time was on the go with travel, my last foray with alcohol and knowing life was going to catch up with me because I was the only one of my friends who hadn’t gotten married.

She was a piano teacher who lived half the week in Boca and the other in Miami (1.5 hours from Boca) to get her Ph.D. I had half the week off on my social calendar.

Why did I pick her for a girlfriend? I gave her a shot because she looked like a past girlfriend that I’m not sure I was over with in my head so we went out. They were way different so that moment passed by quickly.

To cut to the chase, 1 year became 2 and then I became bored. She was kind of a stiff out of the sack, but a pretty willing sport that gave me multiple options of places to put things in bed. I’d been pulling ass for many years and didn’t have the stamina to put up with girls’ verbal bullshit anymore. She, like all girls was afraid of her image to other people, including any shit that I pulled when I was with her. I was doing shit to her all the time because it was like dealing with a school girl as she’d lived such a sheltered life.

My level of boldness with pulling shit increased with how much I drank. At the time, it was a lot.

I got bored and had already gotten some side action on business trips and I noticed that it didn’t bother me guilt-wise. I actually never stopped sleeping with the last girl I broke up with before Claudia, We still banged the whole time I dated Claudia. She was away half the week so the ex sort of agreed to Friends With Benefits. She was secretary to the owner of the company, so as long as I was banging her, I found out the shit the company was doing.

The girl from are you this big of a bitch in Las Vegas was during my years with Claudia. It’s a good story also. She was way more bangable than Claudia.

THE BREAKUP MOVE

So with that being said, I already knew that she was not going to be the one for life for me. I stuck around a little while longer for some reason (until I had another pony in the stable).

I for some dumbass reason took her to my parents, 4 hours there, 4 hours back. She acted ok and probably thought this was the next step in the wedding staircase. She’s about to find out where the staircase just ends.

I’d been making this drive for over a decade mostly solo so I’ve had to stop. I’ve found that there are outcroppings by the side of the road. You can just stand on the other side of the bushes and pee and be back on the road quickly.

I’m old so there were no Truck stop mega stations at this time or even a convenience store at every exit. You could go a long time before a real bathroom would come up. I learned to give up the fight early, go piss in the grass and be on my way. I found that people are way past you before they realized what they saw, and by then they couldn’t find my dick with a telescope.

So told Claudia too late about this, meaning I had to piss now. I didn’t think anything of it as I’ve done it dozens of times. She lost her mind that someone would see me pissing and her in the car. First of all, they wouldn’t see her, and most of all, a good girlfriend would laugh it off as guy stuff we do. Not this time.

The net of what happened was I had to drive for more than 3 exits (not close to each other) before I found an old gas station. The outside roadside was way cleaner than this bathroom. I had to piss so bad by then that I was almost doubled over. I was livid with Claudia though.

The net of what happened to Claudia was at that point, she was done in my mind. Anyone who is going to give me that much shit over nothing wasn’t going to be worth listening to for the rest of my life.

I didn’t say a fucking word to her the rest of the way home and I’m not sure I stayed with her that night. Girls can’t take it so she called. I told her my offer was dating part time because I was through in my head and if she wanted to bang on the side I’d do it. Her response, thinking that I’d back down was full time or no time. I said no time then and got off the phone quickly. I’d either lose that argument or waste too much time listening to crying bullshit.

You can only push a man so far, then he will stop, break, or deal with you. I dealt with her and shortly thereafter met my now wife. Since she’s European, they don’t care if you change clothes outside or even wear them at the beach so while I catch some married shit, it’s not about this.

So Claudia lost me by giving me too much shit about taking a leak by the side of the road.

On the other hand, her husband can thank me for teaching her how to swallow.

What I Hated About The Florida – The Heat

One of the things that makes the heat so dangerous here in Florida is the humidity. The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the air can no longer hold all of its water vapor, and some of the water vapor must condense into liquid water. At 100% relative humidity, the dew point temperature and the air temperature are the same, and clouds or fog can begin to form. While relative humidity is a relative measure of how humid it is, the dew point temperature is an absolute measure of how much water vapor is in the air (how humid it is). In very warm, humid conditions, the dew point temperature can reach 75 to 77 degrees F, but rarely exceeds 80 degrees.

The dewpoint for the afternoon that caused my heatstroke was between 71f and 74f. The temperature for that 4 hour period was between 91f and 94f. That results in a heat index of between 100f and 103f.

High dewpoints are dangerous because it is a limit on how well your sweat can evaporate and cool your body. Heat can build up to dangerous levels.

Combined with that, it was a bright, sunny day with almost no wind. The Navy actually has tables for permissible heat exposure. Under those conditions, Navy regulations say that acclimatized personnel shouldn’t perform heavy work for more than 15 minutes per hour. I far exceeded that for more than 4 continuous hours.

I hated going outside. they say to understand, take a shower and don’t dry off. Get dressed and now you know what it’s like to live there.

I got out of there after 39 years and never looked back. I talk to friends there and the heat is unbearable. It’s why a beach vacation or a theme park is over for me in life.

Combine that with the shitty drivers and it’s not that great of a place once you grasp the length and depth of the constant heat.

Even now, many states away I park in the shade. I spend as much time high in the mountains as I can where it is cool in the summer.

Our extroverted culture encourages a lot of behaviors that aren’t introvert-friendly — things that drive us up a wall.

Are you an introvert who feels like your social battery is constantly low? Do you find yourself trapped in conversations you don’t want to be in — or just feeling misunderstood?

There’s a good chance the problem isn’t you. In fact, the problem might be that our extrovert-oriented culture encourages a lot of not-so-introvert-friendly behaviors — things that drive us up a wall (or send us retreating to our quiet homes) and make us wish the world had a mute button.

Here are some things we introverts wish other people would stop doing. I can’t speak for all introverts, but I believe these 11 things are common introvert pet peeves.

11 Things Introverts Wish You’d Stop Doing

1. Talking to them when they’re reading or doing some other solitary activity

I will never, ever understand why holding an open book isn’t the universal symbol for “don’t talk to me.” To me, the mere sight of a person reading a book implies a bright, neon Shh! Quiet, please! library sign floating in the air above them.

Instead, open a book in a public place, and you can practically hear the eyes swiveling toward you as every extroverted or bored person within a mile realizes, Ooh! Someone who doesn’t have anybody to talk to! They must be waiting for me to come wow them with my brilliant repartee!

No. We’re not. We are merely — and I swear this is true, as shocking as it may seem — trying to read. Please respect that.

(That said, if you ask what book we’re reading because you can’t see the cover, that’s fine. Just please leave the ball in our court as to whether the conversation continues.)

2. Not taking the hint when they no longer want to talk

I don’t want to be rude (or even appear rude). I want to be a nice person, who has a nice exchange with you, and then we nicely wrap it up after a moment and go our separate ways.

But if you want the Nice Introvert on my end, you have to give me the Conscientious Extrovert on your end — the one who can read subtle, polite cues and body language. (No shade to my neurodivergent friends, especially those on the autism spectrum — this doesn’t apply to you!)

To spell it out: If someone is glancing back at their laptop, book, or activity that you interrupted, or toward their vehicle or the exit, or if they say, “Well…” and trail off, or say, “It was nice meeting you,” they’re nicely telling you that your time is up. Let ‘em go.

Because if you don’t, Nice Introvert has to go away — and you’re going to get Uncomfortably Direct Introvert. And yes, I will walk away in the middle of your sentence.

(Most introverts, though, will suffer in silence to be polite. And that, honestly, is an even worse outcome. Don’t make them do that.)

3. Telling them “there won’t be many people” — then inviting everyone you know

I would love to be able to follow the labyrinth trail through an extrovert’s mind that leads from “I’m only inviting a few people” to “Hello, One-Hundredth Person to Arrive, come on in, there are drinks in the kitchen — just past the people playing Who Can Yell Words the Loudest, to the left of the 8,000-Decibel Sound System from Hell. Nope, you didn’t miss the Clown Car Full of People We Don’t Know Who Will Somehow Still Be Here; they should be arriving soon!”

However it happens, please stop.

It’s totally fine if you want a big house party — but just say that. If you tell us it’ll be small, quiet, and/or that not many people will be there, please understand that we are expecting a total of four to six people (or maybe a dozen if the word “party” was involved).

Keep in mind: To introverts, once a gathering is too big for everyone to be involved in the same conversation together, it’s no longer “small” — and it won’t make us happy.

4. Making introvert jokes

Okay, pop quiz: When is an introvert joke appropriate?

Answer: When an introvert is the one making it. Period. That’s all, folks.

Look, I get it — introverts are “a thing” in pop culture now, and the jokes are usually good-natured. (“Oh, you’re an introvert? You must hate being here!” Ba-dum-dum.)

Introvert jokes are, at best, a mild annoyance. But they’re also tedious, they reinforce inaccurate ideas about introversion, and honestly, they’re overused. (You’re not the first extrovert to come up with that line, I promise.)

5. Talking forever without asking the introvert about themselves

Just about every article about introverts says we’re “great at listening.” Are we? Or are we bored out of our minds and desperately looking for a way out while someone goes on and on about problems at their workplace — talking about people we don’t even know?

Look, I’m an introvert, and even I know that conversation is all about give and take. It’s about passing the torch. I tell a story or make a point, and then I give space for you to tell a story or make a point. We talk about my thing for a while, and then we talk about your thing. Sometimes this back-and-forth happens naturally; other times, you can prompt it by simply asking the other person a question.

But if you don’t pass the ball, the entire conversation becomes unpleasant.

The issue is, many introverts have softer voices or don’t jump in and start talking over someone else — which, to be clear, means we are being good conversation partners. But some extroverts (or clueless people of all stripes) take that to mean we’re riveted, and they just keep on going.

So stop. Ask me about myself. I promise I’ll do the same for you. (Or, at a minimum, I’ll take the opening to excuse myself and run in the opposite direction.)

6. Assuming any pause in conversation is your opening to take over

This goes hand-in-hand with the previous point. We all know pauses in conversation are natural, right?

Sure, in a large group, if one person pauses, it’s a nice chance for someone else to add something. But introverts often need a few moments to formulate their thoughts before they start talking. Unfortunately, that doesn’t jibe with our species’ rapidly shrinking attention span, and people assume they can just jump in over us.

This is especially a problem in one-on-one conversations. For introverts, these are the perfect convos — the ones where both people can go a little deeper. If you ask us a question, or we open our mouths to talk and then pause, please, give us a beat. Let a few seconds go by. I guarantee you’ll become one of the few conversations we actually enjoyed that day — and it’ll probably be more interesting for you, too.

7. Lumping all introverts together, assuming they’re all shy, quiet, or socially awkward

Yeah, I get it. Lots of introverts don’t like public speaking. Lots of introverts hate the spotlight. Lots of introverts dislike parties. And some introverts are shy, feel socially awkward, or have social anxiety.

But guess what? Not all introverts check every single one of those boxes — and some don’t check any at all.

Personally, I love being in the spotlight, and lots of introverts are performers, public speakers, or otherwise stand in front of people for a living. (Some are even A-list celebrities — including Taylor Swift!)

Likewise, although I used to be very socially awkward, I spent a lot of years practicing my social skills, and now I feel comfortable talking to strangers at parties or networking events, or making conversation overall. And I might even enjoy a party for an hour or two — just not all night.

Really, the only thing all introverts have in common is that we get tired quickly from social interactions. That’s it. Whether we’re good or bad at any particular social skill — or whether we enjoy socializing up to a certain point — varies from person to person.

So, please, stop lumping us together.

8. Putting them on the spot

Say it with me: Introverts need time to mentally prepare.

That means we do not want to be handed the mic, called out in a group, asked to perform an impromptu song, or anything else that involves being put on the spot.

Here are some things you can try saying instead:

  • “For the bonfire party next week, would you be willing to bring your guitar and do a few songs? It’s okay if not.”
  • “Hey, we’re going to do toasts after dinner, and I’d like to ask you to give one. Could you think of something by then?”
  • “So-and-so was supposed to do the presentation today and just messaged that they’re stuck in traffic. I know you aren’t prepared, but you helped put together the deck. If I stall with the clients to buy you 10 minutes to prepare, could you do the presentation?”

Of course, the introvert may still decline — but by giving them some time to think about it and prepare, you’ll make for a much better experience for everyone.

9. Talking during movies, shows, and other events that don’t encourage talking

Okayyyyyyy, so I don’t know when this became a thing, but it seems like people treat shows and movies as background noise now — chit-chatting instead of, I don’t know, watching the show. Is it because there are subtitles on almost everything? Is it because the endless binge of episodes isn’t very satisfying, so you need something more?

To this, I daresay most introverts are more interested in following the plotline than we are in bantering about your workday.

To be clear: Once a show or movie is turned on, you have two options — either zip it and watch, or pause the show when you have something important to say. (But don’t overuse the pausing privileges.)

10. Treating them as your personal therapist

Introverts can be deep and thoughtful. We can also come across as wise — sometimes by accident — because we think first and talk later. Despite what I said before, introverts can be attentive listeners with the right person or in the right situation.

But none of that gives us an endless well of emotional energy, and none of it makes us a trained therapist. (Except for the introverts who are, in fact, trained and licensed therapists.)

So if you’re close friends with an introvert whose opinions you respect, by all means, let them know when you’ve got something heavy on your mind and ask if you can talk to them about it. That’s what friends are for.

But that quiet, soulful, soft-spoken, patient individual you just met literally 30 seconds ago? That is not your therapist. That is a random introvert who is internally panicking at your awkward overshare while desperately trying to save even one ounce of the energy you’re sucking out of their social battery.

11. Surprising them with plans, from parties to showing up unannounced

Don’t. Just don’t.

Columbia University’s recent decision to lay off nearly 180 staff members is a stark reminder of the real-world consequences of elitist posturing.

The cuts, reported by multiple outlets, including Fox News and NBC News, were prompted by the revocation of $400 million in federal grants under the Trump administration, highlighting the school’s stubborn refusal to adapt to reasonable demands. These staffers are paying the price for the school’s defiance, while the university’s leadership retreats to their gilded mansions unscathed.

The Trump administration’s mandate was clear: protect Jewish students from rampant anti-Semitism on campus, or lose federal funding. Columbia chose defiance, and now its employees are suffering. The school’s insistence on coddling Hamas sympathizers has cost it dearly, and the fallout is hitting those least responsible for the decision.

Columbia’s acting president, Claire Shipman, issued a statement that reeks of self-pity.

“This is a deeply challenging time across all higher education, and we are attempting to navigate through tremendous ambiguity with precision, which will be imperfect at times,” she said.

Ambiguity? There’s nothing ambiguous about Trump’s directive. Stop the anti-Semitism, and you’re fine. Columbia’s leadership chose to play a stupid game, and now they’ve won a stupid prize.

Terrifying Flight: 200 Passengers Without Pilot For 10 Minutes After Co-Pilot Faints – Air Travel Anyone?

A plane carrying almost 200 passengers did not not have a pilot for over 10 minutes in what was a frightening scene after the first officer lost consciousness in the cockpit while the captain was off using the bathroom, a new investigation found. 

The chaos took place after a Lufthansa plane, Airbus A321, was en route from Frankfurt, Germany, to Seville, Spain, in February 2024, according to a report from Spanish aviation investigators that was revealed this week. 

The report revealed that the captain said he left his first officer alone with close to 30 minutes of flight time remaining so he could use the bathroom lavatory, noting that his second-in-command “appeared to be able and alert” at the time.

However, when he returned just eight minutes later, the pilot claimed that he could not access the flight deck despite entering the security code five times to gain access to the door. 

When an intercom call to the flight deck went unanswered, the panicked pilot plugged in an emergency code.

Shortly after, the co-pilot woke up from unconsciousness.

As many as 20 pilots flying into the airport Monday afternoon were unable to communicate with air traffic controllers for a minute and half, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed.

“Part of the Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) experienced a loss of communications for approximately 90 seconds around 1:50 p.m. local time on Monday, May 12, when both transmitters that cover a segment of airspace went down,” according to the FAA.

After two and a half years of fighting both the EU and Belgian courts tooth and nail so that she won’t have to disclose her text messages with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla about vaccine negotiations—presumably to hide evidence in “the biggest corruption scandal in human history”—EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was delivered a painful blow by the EU Court of Justice on Wednesday, when it ruled that she did break transparency laws and annulled her decision to withhold the documents.

As a reminder, the texts were used to negotiate the procurement of 1.8 billion doses of Pfizer vaccines for around €35 billion, in addition to the purchase of another 2.8 billion doses from other manufacturers. That’s over 10 shots for every single European, worth over €70 billion in total. Barely more than one-fifth of those were ever administered, meaning the vast majority will inevitably end up in landfills.

Yet, despite the fact that it could be key to understanding this unimaginable waste of taxpayer funds, the ECJ ruling holds no immediate consequence with regard to the disclosure of the Pfizer texts. The Commission already stated that it won’t release them. Von der Leyen has two months to appeal the decision, and the process for a final ruling typically takes another 15 to 24 months. In other words, the public is not likely to see any of the texts for at least another one or two years—if ever.

Homicides are down nearly 60% in Denver so far this year, according to the newly released report by the Major Cities Chiefs Association.

It’s a significant drop from last year and one of the biggest declines in violent crime rates in the country.

“Violent crime is just about reducing in every city, but we were the city in which it had declined the most,” said Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas.

Thomas says he is proud to have that distinction, and it speaks to the hard work of his officers.

“We’ve been able to see these significant reductions in crime without over policing communities,” said Thomas. “It’s one of the things we have understood was important and we need to be responsive, but we need to make sure we’re investing as much as we’re enforcing.”

Survey Finds Many Americans Hold Negative Views of the Ivies

A new survey by the University of Chicago Project on Security and Threats found that a significant portion of the American public holds negative views about Ivy League universities and believe campus antisemitism is an important issue.

The survey was fielded by the university’s research organization, NORC, from May 1 to May 5, and included 2,131 American adults. It found that 45 percent of respondents see campus antisemitism as a “serious” or “very serious” issue. Among Republicans, the share was 54 percent, compared to roughly 40 percent of Democrats and 32 percent of Independents.

Meanwhile, 28 percent of respondents said they view Ivy League universities like Harvard and Yale as the “enemy.” A larger share of Republicans, about 47 percent, hold that sentiment, compared to about 11 percent of Democrats and roughly 30 percent of Independents. But 47 percent of Democrats said they were unsure, while 31 percent said they’d characterize Ivies as a “friend.”

Only a quarter of those surveyed believe the federal government should defund Ivy League institutions, similar to a finding in a recent report by the Associated Press–NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

The Kannapolis Cannon Balls are a Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and according to Daily Mail, they were taking on the Carolina Mudcats on Tuesday night when the team’s bat dog, Kacey Betty — a certified good girl — decided to drop the kids off at the pool so to speak before going out and picking up a bat.

Till Death Do Us Part, For Real

A couple from the UK has signed up to die together in the Sarco “suicide pod” in Switzerland, and their deaths will allegedly be filmed.

Peter Scott (86) and Christine Scott (80) contacted the assisted suicide group “The Last Resort” last year regarding the Sarco machine because they wanted to commit suicide together after Christine received a diagnosis of vascular dementia — dementia caused by reduced blood flow to the brain.

But it wasn’t the diagnosis that worried them; what they fear is that neither of them will receive prompt treatment for their health conditions through the National Health Service (NHS).

“The chances of getting prompt NHS treatment for the ailments of old age seem pretty remote, so you end up trapped by infirmity and pain,” said Peter.

He told News.com.au, “We have had long, happy, healthy, fulfilled lives but here we are old and it does not do nice things to you. The idea of watching the slow degradation of Chris’s mental abilities in parallel to my physical decline is horrific to me.”

Rather than live out their lives, the couple will enter the Sarco pod — a device that, at the push of a button, will release nitrogen into the air, reducing the oxygen. They will die from hypoxia. According to Inspire, their deaths will be “filmed and provided to a coroner as evidence, setting a historic precedent in the field of assisted dying.”

David Hogg Grasping At Straws For Suggesting Young Men Just Want To ‘Get Laid’ And ‘Have Fun’

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk on Monday criticized Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg’s suggestion that young men could be wooed back to his party if it allows them to prioritize having sex and “fun.”

North Carolina Man Arrested & Accused Of Spraying Bodily Fluids On Women In Walmart

Keep your heads on a swivel people. Especially when venturing into your local Walmart. You want to avoid the weirdos walking around looking for people to spray their bodily fluids on.

It sounds insane, because it is insane, but it’s also a reality. A North Carolina man was arrested earlier this month and is accused of doing just that.

Prosecutors say that Thomas Snyder of Gastonia, North Carolina, sprayed at least three women with semen from a syringe during three separate incidents, reports WSOC TV.

One of the alleged victims spoke to the local news about her incident, which took place back in February. Police say the other two happened in March and May, all in the same Walmart.

“I don’t know what kind of sick, twisted stuff that is. It makes me feel unsafe,” she said. “It has kind of left a mental scar on me.”

1,000 Troops Who Identify As Transgender Being Discharged: Pentagon

The U.S. Department of Defense on May 8 confirmed that approximately 1,000 service members who have identified as having gender dysphoria will begin the voluntary separation process under new guidance that reinstates a ban on military service for those diagnosed with or exhibiting symptoms of gender dysphoria.

“Today, the Department will issue guidance to the Military Departments and Services ending the accession of individuals with a current diagnosis or history of, or symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria and all non-medically necessary treatment,” said Defense Department spokesman Sean Parnell. The new policy marks a significant shift in military personnel standards and reflects President Donald J. Trump’s directive issued earlier this year. “Approximately 1,000 Service members who have self-identified as being diagnosed with gender dysphoria will begin the voluntary separation process.”

The decision comes days after the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6–3 vote, granted a stay of a lower court ruling that had blocked the policy. The majority did not issue an opinion, nor did the three dissenting justices. The stay allows the Department of Defense to enforce the new policy as litigation continues in a case brought by a group of transgender service members.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended the move as necessary for maintaining military readiness and cohesion. “This is the president’s agenda, this is what the American people voted for, and we’re going to continue to relentlessly pursue it,” Hegseth said in a video statement. In a memorandum dated May 8, he wrote that “service by individuals with a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibiting symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria is not in the best interest of the Military Services and is not clearly consistent with the interests of national security.”

After yet another appeal failed in 2018, a South Carolina judicial circuit solicitor said he was “probably the most dangerous and violent person I’ve ever prosecuted,” that “he places no value on human life,” and noted that while in prison, he “nearly murdered a guard on death row.”

Yet, now that he’s dead, one news outlet — and I’m going to give you a paragraph to guess which journalistic institution is responsible for this one — is wringing its hands because, as they said, Mahdi “may have suffered for an extended period of time before dying because shooters largely missed his heart, an autopsy commissioned by the state shows.”

In a prerecorded Friday interview that was released on Sunday, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy on “Meet the Press” called for an overhaul of the nation’s air traffic control infrastructure, some of which includes parts that need to be purchased on “eBay.”

“I’m concerned about the whole airspace,” Duffy told NBC News’ Kristen Welker. “The equipment that we use, much of it we can’t buy parts for new. We have to go on eBay and buy parts if one part goes down. You’re dealing with old equipment.

“We’re dealing with copper wires, not fiber” optics, “not high-speed fiber” optics, Duffy added. “This is concerning. Is it safe? Yes. We have redundancies – multiple redundancies in place to keep you safe when you fly, but we should also recognize, we’re seeing stress on an old network, and it’s time to fix it.”

In late February, Elon Musk, while working in his capacity as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency commission, also called for an overhaul of the nation’s air traffic control grid.

Musk posted to X that “the ancient” air traffic control “system that is rapidly declining in capability was made [by] L3Harris.

“The FAA assessment is single digit months to catastrophic failure, putting air traveler safety at serious risk,” he added. “The Starlink terminals are being sent at NO COST to the taxpayer on an emergency basis to restore air traffic control connectivity. The situation is extremely dire.”

Musk went on to note that a $2.4 billion contract from Verizon to upgrade the Federal Aviation Administration’s equipment “is not yet operational.” Shortly after Musk’s post, The Washington Post, pulling from two anonymous sources, reported that the agency was on the cusp of canceling its Verizon contract and giving it to SpaceX.

According to witnesses, the protesters climbed on desks and chanted “Free Palestine.” They renamed – at least for one brief whiny moment – the Butler Library “Basel Al-Araj Popular University” and demanded that Columbia University divest from Israel. But why now—half a year later? The backlash over its controversial woke rebranding occurred last fall, yet the company’s pronoun-wielding executive publicly defended the cringe ad at the time.

The Telegraph first reported that JLR was severing ties with its ad agency, Accenture Song, after the marketing disaster on November 19.

In 2021, Accenture Song joined forces with Spark44, JLR’s client-agency joint venture, to create a new marketing approach for JLR’s shift to an electric-first, modern luxury business.

But JLR’s marketing blunder was merely a repeat of Bud Light’s trans activism and a lesson for corporations not to stack their teams with woke activists.

Steven Hatfill, the virologist who helped push hydroxychloroquine into the national spotlight during the COVID-19 crisis, is back in Washington with a high-level appointment in President Donald Trump’s administration — this time as a senior adviser for pandemic preparedness, The Washington Post reported.

Hatfill now serves as a special adviser in the director’s office at the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response, a Department of Health and Human Services division tasked with preparing for biological, chemical, and public health disasters.

In an interview Saturday, Hatfill said he’s focused on helping the agency “get us ready for the next pandemic,” working closely with scientists to analyze the global threat landscape. “Not just for influenza, bird flu, or COVID, but other global diseases that could represent a threat to the U.S.”

Hatfill worked alongside trade adviser Peter Navarro and Trump himself to promote hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine as early treatments for COVID-19 — long before those drugs were scientifically validated or approved for such use. Air Traffic Controllers Face 1,000 Tech Failures a Week

Air traffic controllers in the U.S. have experienced about 1,000 equipment failures a week due to ancient equipment, a former federal aviation official and several airline industry insiders told the New York Post.

The report comes less than a week after a 90-second equipment failure at Newark Liberty International Airport caused air traffic controllers’ communications to go dark, sparking hundreds of flight delays and disrupting travel for thousands for days.

The cause was a single unsheathed copper wire at the air traffic control center in Philadelphia.

“This is a copper wire system, and frankly the FAA is experiencing almost 1,000 outages a week,” one airline industry official told the Post, referring to the Federal Aviation Administration.

“Some outages are worse than others — but the bad thing about them is you can’t predict them.”

“Police have detained a man who entered the University of Warsaw campus. One person died, another was taken to hospital with injuries,” Warsaw Police said in a statement on X.

The incident happened at about 1:40 p.m. local time when the 22-year-old man entered the campus.

Afghanistan Became ‘Terrorist Haven’ Again Thanks To Money, Weapons Biden Admin Left Behind

Afghanistan has again become a “terrorist haven” harboring Al Qaeda followers after former President Joe Biden allowed American weapons and funds to fall into the Taliban’s hands in 2021, a new report finds.

The Taliban regime made $3.4 billion in revenue since March 2024 and March 2025 and is allowing Al Qaeda “affiliates” to arm themselves, the U.S. government’s Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) reported April 30. Decades after the U.S. went to war with the two groups following 9/11, evidence shows that Afghanistan poses a greater danger to Americans than before the attacks, a national security analyst told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“The threat of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan is far greater today than pre-9/11, as the Taliban controls all of Afghanistan, has the resources of the state, and has allowed Al Qaeda to establish significant terror infrastructure, including training camps, safe house and religious schools,” said Bill Roggio, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. “Al Qaeda has the time, space and resources to recruit and train the next generation of terrorists and plot their next attack.”

The SIGAR document in part referenced a February United Nations (U.N.) report which found that Al Qaeda followers had “access to weapons” taken from the former Afghan government. The supplies had been “transferred to them by the de facto authorities/Taliban or purchased from the black market,” it said

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon announced that Harvard will no longer be eligible for new grants after rejecting the Trump administration’s resolution proposal.

The Department of Education (ED) sent a letter to the Ivy League university on Monday alleging Harvard is engaged in a “systemic pattern of violating federal law” and notifying the university of its inability to receive federal funding. The violations cited include a failure to adhere to civil rights laws by illegally using race as a factor for admission decisions and failing to protect Jewish students on campus.

“Harvard University, despite amassing a largely tax-free $53.2 billion dollar endowment (larger than the GDP of 100 countries), receives billions of dollars of taxpayer largess each year,” the letter reads. “Harvard will cease to be a publicly funded institution, and can instead operate as a privately-funded institution, drawing on its colossal endowment, and raising money from its large base of wealthy alumni.”

The letter, also posted to X by the secretary, reprimands the Ivy League school for accepting foreign students into the school who go on to “engage in violent behavior and show contempt for the United States of America.” The administration has made its stance on foreign students who espouse anti-American views clear, demanding in a previous letter that Harvard review its process for recruiting and admitting international students. Several foreign students who engaged in violent antisemitic protests at other universities have already been deported.

Nike, the self-proclaimed champion of sports apparel and athletes, has been exposed for funding a horrific study on “trans adolescents” — a term that’s as absurd as it is dangerous.

The New York Times Magazine dropped this bombshell in an April 20 piece about transgender athletes in women’s college sports, and the silence from Nike since then is deafening.

The NYT article, while focused on broader issues like Blaire Fleming — a male playing on the San Jose State women’s volleyball team — buried a disturbing detail about Nike’s involvement in a study on kids. Fleming’s case is a disgrace in itself, and it’s worth noting that a Biden-appointed judge allowed this travesty, ignoring the unfairness to female athletes.

But the real outrage lies in a paragraph buried deep in the NYT story.

Trans researcher Joanna Harper revealed that he’s leading a study of “trans adolescents,” tracking their fitness before and after hormone therapy over five years. When asked about funding, Harper casually admitted that the study is being funded by Nike.

He blamed Trump’s policies on gender-affirming care for delays in “youth treatment,” but the money? That came straight from Nike.

The giant billboard for the American athletic footwear and apparel company, held aloft with a crane, read “Never Again. Until Next Year” in black letters with a red backdrop.

“Never again” is a slogan widely associated with the Holocaust, representing a global pledge to prevent similar atrocities from happening. The ad sparked further outrage because “until next year” evoked vows that Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists made to repeat their attack on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The ad also appeared three days after Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, known as Yom HaShoah. It was part of a broader Nike campaign aimed at encouraging marathon runners, Ynet News reported Monday.

All Horses in 151st Kentucky Derby Were Descended from Legendary Secretariat

Every horse that ran the 151st Kentucky Derby on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky, is reportedly descended from one American champion.

Pedigrees apparently show those horses are descended from Secretariat, the horse that in 1973 ran the fastest mile-and-a-quarter in the derby’s history, the Louisville Courier Journal reported Saturday.

Looking back six generations of most horses will reportedly show they are descended from a champion such as Secretariat or Northern Dancer, the outlet said.

According to derby contending trainer Whit Beckman, “It’s one of those stats. It’s bound to happen at some point with how much he shows up in every single pedigree. It’s really cool. Very cool.”

Secretariat was a thoroughbred racehorse that became the first in 25 years to win the Triple Crown in 1973, per History.com. According to the site:

In 1974, Secretariat was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. The REF’s new report on green energy subsidies noted that renewables subsidies are now costing £25.8 bn per year – or over £900 per household annually – about one third of which, £280, will hit the average domestic electricity bill directly.

For a long time, part of the gaslighting around the cost of Net Zero has been focus people’s attention over the impact on their energy bills.

However, as John Constable pointed out, only about a third of the cost hits the public directly via their electricity bills, because only a third of electricity is consumed by domestic users.

The other two thirds is used by industry and commerce, transport and the public sector.

But that does not mean that the public at large don’t end up footing the entire bill one way or another.

Higher electricity costs for industry and commerce mean higher prices in the shops. And higher electricity costs in the public sector mean higher taxes or poorer public services.

At the worst, businesses may shut or move their production abroad, leaving us all worse off.

Miliband and co would love you to think you are only paying a hundred quid or so for Net Zero. People would be horrified to learn that the price is nearer a thousand quid a year.

The proposal included inserting a furin cleavage site into a coronavirus spike protein, an order for the restrictive enzyme BsmBI, the search for a binding domain that would infect ACE2 human receptors and a requirement for a viral genome around 25% different to SARS.

Nationalism is villainous and globalists are the heroes? It’s a propaganda message that has been building since the end of World War II and the creation of globalist institutions like the UN, the IMF, World Banks, etc. By the 1970s there was a concerted and dangerous agenda to acclimate the western world to interdependency; not just dependency on imports and exports, but dependency of currency trading, treasury purchases and interbank wealth transfer systems like SWIFT.

This was the era when corporations began outsourcing western manufacturing to third world countries. This is when the dollar was fully decoupled from gold. When the IMF introduced the SDR basket system. When the decade long stagflationary crisis began.

This was when the World Economic Forum was founded. The Club of Rome and their climate change agenda. The globalists use international trade controls as a way to ensnare competing economies, forcing them to become homogeneous. They take away the self reliance of nations and pressure them to conform to global trade standards. It’s important to understand that they view centralized dominance of trade as a primary tool for eventually obtaining their new world order.

The idea of a country going off the plantation and initiating unilateral tariffs is unheard of. The notion of countries producing their own necessities is absurd. As least, until 2025.

Illinois authorities were reportedly investigating how three bags carrying $300,000 worth of cash fell out of a Brinks Home Security armored truck on April 22 in the village of Oak Park.

An employee alerted authorities shortly after 5 p.m. that the truck’s back door opened and the bags of cash fell out, CBS News reported, citing the Oak Park Police Department (OPPD). The driver alleged that 50 to 100 men and women then streamed in to pocket the cash and flee.

Nicole Phillips-Edward, a local who lives near the area where the incident happened, said she did not know about it until police showed up and asked for surveillance footage.

“He said they ran right past my house,” Phillips-Edward said. “That they had ran down the street and they were trying to see if it had recorded. So I pulled out my camera and I’m showing them and I’m like, ‘how far do I need to go back?’ and he’s like ’10 minutes.’ I’m like ‘ten minutes?!’ I was in the house 10 minutes.”

How China Steals

When I worked with Chris Wong, obviously Chinese, at IBM, he told me the key to understanding how to work with China is simple. They ignore the 10 commandments. That’s right, lie, steal, coven and all the rest of them.

Here’s the result:

China claims that President Trump started the trade war against China by imposing reciprocal tariffs.

What China conveniently omits is that they have been waging a full-scale trade war against America for decades. Not only does China systematically violate just about every term of every trade agreement, they have been stealing trillions worth of American industrial technology and intellectual property.

China Steals at Least $225 Billion Every Year

According to a 2024 report from the House Committee on Homeland Security, China steals between $300 and $600 billion worth of American technology and intellectual property every year. This is in line with findings from a 2017 report from the Commission on the Theft of American Intellectual Property.

If we assume a middle-of-the-road figure, and extrapolate these findings back to 2001, when China joined the World Trade Organization, then we can assume that China has stolen some $9.9 trillion worth of American technology and intellectual property. As we will see below, this does not even encapsulate all the ways that China steals technology.

Perhaps surprisingly, only 29% of espionage targets were military in nature. The vast majority of China’s efforts have been focused on procuring industrial technology, including manufacturing processes, formulas, and designs. This theft costs American businesses at least $180 billion annually.

American businesses also lost out on big profits from counterfeit goods. A report from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) notes that 60% of all counterfeit goods sold globally originated in China. The proportion is even higher for America’s consumer market, with 87% of the counterfeit goods sold in America originating in China. This deprives American companies of some $291 billion in lost revenue.

\Another report compiled by the United States Trade Representative discusses theft perpetrated on Chinese e-commerce markets. In particular, this “cause[s] great losses for U.S. Right holders involved in the distribution of a wide array of trademarked products, as well as legitimate film and television programming, music, software, video games, books and journals.”

Although this loss cannot be specifically quantified, it is likely significant. Consider that in 2024 Chinese e-commerce transactions were valued at an estimated $2.16 trillion USD. According to the above reports, approximately 40% of all products sold on these markets were pirated or counterfeit. Thus, we can estimate that these transactions deprived foreign — mostly American — businesses of $864 billion in profits.

How China Steals American Technology

Reports on China’s malfeasance typically focus on espionage and outright corporate theft. However, the main vectors of technological theft are not conventional theft. Instead, China focuses on acquiring ownership stakes in strategic American corporate assets, and strongarms American companies doing business in China.

America runs a large trade deficit with China, worth at least $300 billion per year over the last decade. How does America pay for this deficit? By selling assets and debts — this is called the balance of payments.

Assets include shares – ownership — of American corporations. Chinese investors coordinate to buy shares in American industrial and technology companies. They then use these shares to facilitate the transfer of proprietary technology.

Perhaps this is not technically theft, but it is a coordinated effort by the Chinese state and pseudo-state actors to acquire American technology. Further, these “owners” clearly breach their fiduciary duties to the American companies — once the technology is pillaged, they are free to liquidate their holdings.

The second main vector for technology transfers occur when American companies offshore their production to China. American companies are required to “partner” with a Chinese company, who handles all staffing and operational management of the factory. As a part of this deal, the Americans share their propriety technology with the Chinese company, and train the Chinese workers.

American businesses are happy to trade technology for short-term profits. Of course, this comes back to bite them. Once the Chinese have acquired the technology and knowhow, they often make copycat products and begin competing with their former employer.

A good example of this is the Pearl River Piano Group. They were contracted to build Steinway’s Essex line, lower-end manufactured pianos. After acquiring the technology, industrial capital, and experience in manufacturing pianos, Pearl River rolled out its own copycat lines: Pearl River and Ritmüller. In effect, Steinway created its own competitor.

This is just one example. The reality is that almost all Chinese companies have been built on stolen technology. Huawei, for example, is one of the biggest technology companies in the world. Huawei invented precisely nothing — all the foundational technologies were either “gratuitously” transferred through the above mechanisms, or stolen through outright corporate espionage.

The total amount of technology “stolen” in this way is unquantifiable. Consider that in 1983 most of China was pre-industrial — with economic development lower than that of colonial America. Since then, China’s industrial economy grown to be three times larger than America’s, and in some ways, more advanced.

America needs high and stable tariffs in order to reshore America’s factories, and stem the most egregious vectors of technological theft. If not, then America will continue to feed China until the dragon has grown past the point of taming or slaying.

The recent massive blackout across Spain, Portugal, France, and Belgium has sparked new debates about the state of Europe’s energy infrastructure, especially as these countries have moved toward renewable energy.

On Monday, Spain and Portugal experienced a massive power outage. Spain lost about 60 percent of its electricity within about five seconds. France and Belgium were also hit, and everybody experienced some level of disruption to their transportation, communication, and overall daily life.

At first, rumors spread that the blackout was caused by some “rare cosmic phenomenon.” But that was quickly ruled out.

Investigations have also ruled out cyberattacks and weather-related events. The early findings suggest that a sudden loss in solar power in southwestern Spain is what triggered everything.

This incident shines a light on the growing debate over renewable energy sources and not having proper backup systems.

Think about it: this small little change instantly impacted four countries and nearly brought down two of them.

Take a look:

Spain is one of Europe’s leaders in renewable energy, with over 75% of its electricity coming from renewable sources at the time of the outage.

Net Zero isn’t reality, but that’s exactly what Spain is pushing.

This is truly bananas: all of Europe appears to have been seconds away a continent-wide blackout.

The grid frequency across continental Europe plunged to 49.85 hertz — just a hair above the red-line collapse threshold.

The normal operating frequency for Europe’s power grid is 50.00 Hz, kept with an extremely tight margin of ±0.1 Hz. Anything outside ±0.2 Hz triggers major emergency actions.

If the frequency had fallen just another 0.3 Hz — below 49.5 Hz — Europe could have suffered a system-wide cascading blackout.

At that threshold, automatic protective relays disconnect major power plants, and collapse accelerates.

And it’s disturbingly easy to imagine multiple scenarios where that could have occurred…

The Department of Education (ED) opened an investigation into Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Tuesday over allegations the district is violating civil rights by hosting programs that discriminate based on race.

The investigation stems from a complaint filed by educational grassroots organization Defending Education (DE) about a “Black Students Success Plan” hosted by CPS which focuses “on remedial measures only for black students, despite acknowledging that Chicago students of all races struggle academically,” according to ED’s press release.

“Chicago Public Schools have a record of academic failure, leaving students from all backgrounds and races struggling and ill-prepared to meet the challenges and enjoy the rewards of contemporary American life,” Craig Trainor, acting assistant secretary for Civil Rights at ED said in a statement. “Rather than address its record honestly, CPS seeks to allocate additional resources to favored students on the basis of race. The Trump-McMahon Department of Education will not allow federal funds, provided for the benefit of all students, to be used in this pernicious and unlawful manner.”

Mainstream media, led by outlets like the Daily Mail, are finally admitting that COVID vaccines have caused millions of deaths and debilitating injuries, a truth long concealed by government health officials, Pfizer, and Moderna. This acknowledgment marks a seismic shift in public discourse surrounding the vaccine’s widespread harm.

The revelation coincides with reports exposing flaws in the UK’s Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, where only a quarter of the £38.6 million budget is expected to compensate injured patients. The remaining £27 million is reportedly allocated to a U.S. firm handling claims, highlighting systemic failures in addressing the vaccine’s devastating toll.

Modernity.news reports: The Daily Mail article cited Yale researchers who identified a new illness called Post-Vaccination Syndrome (PVS), marked by “headaches, dizziness and ‘brain fog’.”

These symptoms “usually develop within 48 hours of receiving a vaccine and become more severe in the following days and weeks, and can persist over time,” the article reported.

The Daily Mail said the Yale team found:

  • “Brain fog was reported in 78 percent of people”
  • “Difficulty concentrating or focusing was reported by 73 percent”

The article also cited a 2021 study showing these symptoms could be a sign of cerebral venous thrombosis, a deadly brain blood clot.

Exercise Intolerance

According to the Daily Mail, exercise intolerance was one of the most frequently reported injuries among those suffering from PVS.

“80 percent of people” with PVS experienced it, the article reported. A separate 2023 preprint study found “71 percent of people reporting PVS” also suffered from it.

The article explained the mechanism: “despite the heart and lungs functioning normally, the body isn’t able to properly extract and use oxygen from the blood.”

Fatigue & Difficulty Sleeping

The Daily Mail report also brought up extreme fatigue and sleep dysfunction.

“85 percent of people with PVS” experienced excessive fatigue. 70 percent had “trouble falling or staying asleep,” the article said.

It cited a 2023 study showing:

  • 13 percent had “moderate to severe insomnia”
  • “7.4 percent were consistently waking up too early”

The article warned that poor sleep worsens brain fog, can “lead to mood changes like irritability and depression,” and increases the risk of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

Myocarditis

The Daily Mail admitted that “mRNA shots have been shown to cause myocarditis”—inflammation of the heart muscle that can result in heart failure, arrhythmias, or sudden death.

One Israeli study cited in the article found a rate of one myocarditis case per 50,000 vaccinations. The article also referenced Canadian experts who called for more research, warning the extent of vaccine-induced heart damage is “under-documented.”

The article reported that the CDC recognizes myocarditis and pericarditis as “established side effects of Covid vaccination,” though it does not disclose the number of cases.

Tinnitus

The Daily Mail article brought up tinnitus—a constant ringing or buzzing in the ears—as another injury that’s been linked to COVID vaccines.

A 2024 study cited in the article found:

  • 47 cases per million complete vaccinations with Pfizer’s shot
  • 51 with Moderna
  • 70 with Johnson & Johnson’s

The article also mentioned: “the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has about 12,000 reports of tinnitus following a Covid vaccination.”

Blood Clots and Low Platelets (TTS)

The Daily Mail explained that “a rare but serious condition” called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) has been linked to the J&J vaccine.

The article cited a 2021 CDC report that found 38 cases of TTS within 15 days of vaccination, four of which were fatal.

A 2022 Norwegian study referenced in the article calculated a rate of one TTS case per 26,000 vaccinations.

One woman told The Daily Mail that her doctor said her clotting disorder was likely caused by the COVID vaccine “because he couldn’t find any other reason.”

Numbness or Burning Sensations

The Daily Mail piece also cited a UK study that found paresthesia—“tingling, numbness, prickling or burning sensations”—was one of the most frequently reported vaccine side effects.

Among PVS patients, the article said:

  • 80 percent reported tingling and numbness
  • 58 percent reported burning sensations

Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)

The Daily Mail article explained that GBS is a nerve disorder that causes paralysis and, in severe cases, death—and that “recent studies have found evidence suggesting an increased risk of GBS among adults aged 18 and older due to the Covid vaccination.”

According to the article, 100 cases of GBS were reported after 12.6 million J&J vaccinations.

A 2023 review referenced by the article showed that people receiving vector-based COVID vaccines were “over twice as likely to develop GBS.” In most cases, symptoms started within 21 days of the first dose.

Bottom Line

The Daily Mail has now published a nearly 4,000-word breakdown of vaccine injuries—neurological breakdowns, heart inflammation, tinnitus, paralysis, blood disorders, and more—confirming everything health officials spent years denying.

They said it was “safe and effective.”

Now even the mainstream press is admitting: you might be vaccine-injured.

Thompson, a reporter for Axios, accepted the White House Correspondents’ Association’s Aldo Beckman Award for Overall Excellence in White House Coverage. His reporting closely documented Biden’s disastrous debate performance against President Donald Trump, the events leading up to it, and Biden’s eventual decision to exit the race. In his acceptance speech, Thompson acknowledged that the press fell short in covering the story of Biden’s decline.

“Being truth tellers also means telling the truth about ourselves. We, myself included, missed a lot of this story,” Thompson said, speaking before a room of journalists from major news outlets.

He added, “President Biden’s decline and its cover-up by the people around him is a reminder that every White House, regardless of party, is capable of deception.”…

Study: Women Who Take Abortion Pills 22 Times More Likely to Die

A groundbreaking study reveals that women using mifepristone, the abortion pill, face a staggering 22 times higher risk of life-threatening complications than claimed by the FDA and Danco Laboratories, the manufacturer of Mifeprex. This challenges the narrative from abortion advocates and corporate media that the pill, responsible for over half of U.S. abortions, is “safe and effective.”

Conducted by Ethics and Public Policy Center President Ryan Anderson and Director of Data Analysis Jamie Bryan Hall, the study is the largest known analysis of abortion pill outcomes. It examined insurance claims from Medicaid, TRICARE, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and private insurers, covering 865,727 mifepristone prescriptions dispensed to 692,873 women between 2017 and 2023.

The findings highlight a significant gap between reported and actual risks, raising urgent questions about the safety of mifepristone. As the debate over abortion access intensifies, this data could reshape public policy and medical guidelines surrounding the use of abortion pills.

Thefederalist.com reports: Approximately 10.9 percent of those claims, or 94,605 chemical abortions, involved potentially life-threatening “serious adverse events” such as emergency room visits, hemorrhage, sepsis, infection, and/or follow-up surgeries for the women who had downed the abortion drug within the last 45 days.

The Downside Of Europeans Trashing America

Newsflash to my European friends — the more you criticize America and the more you marginalize Americans, the quicker you will push the U.S. away from the global stage and closer towards a new form of isolationism and nationalism.

One of the sad facts of life today is that many people in many countries have decided that America is no longer their friend, no longer a reliable partner in NATO and is willing to desert its allies in times of need.

Some are even calling America a rogue nation that is cannibalizing its own Constitution and is on a path towards a dictatorship with a megalomaniac narcissist at the helm.

Here in Europe, where I am, every day, the media in several European nations bring out their “America experts” who routinely characterize the U.S. as an example of everything that is wrong with the world.

They portray the country as anti-family because it won’t enact laws to promote paid family leave for men. They say it is racist because it chooses a meritocracy over racially-biased hiring policies. They don’t understand why the U.S. won’t levy massive taxes on entrepreneurs and risk-takers and they really don’t know why Americans are concerned about protecting their free speech.

In short, they feel that America refuses to adopt a host of policies that only “enlightened societies” (like theirs) see as inviolate.

Unfortunately, many of these same experts tend to be products of universities that have long-standing institutional views on the dangers of working too hard, being too ambitious and too devoted to creating a society based on the power of the individual and on the right of the majority to decide matters of national importance.

Some of these countries’ priorities seem to be rooted in perpetuating their own status quo that aims to protect and preserve their own beliefs that they — and they alone — have all the answers and solutions to society’s problems and challenges.

While this is not unusual for any country that wants to safeguard its own values and ideals, it can seem arrogant to other countries, especially when these views are promoted with missionary-like zeal, accompanied by a wagging finger.

Such is the case in the current situation with the United States. It must be said, however, that the U.S. has also been guilty of pushing its views of what constitutes an ideal society onto other countries, especially smaller ones. This has created a long-standing, frustration and simmering anger toward Americans, and this anger has now reached the boiling point after the election of Donald Trump.

His views, remarks and actions, the latest of which is the imposition of massive tariffs which many are calling the first battle of World Trade War I have created widespread animosity and fear among European nations.

Europeans are boycotting American products and are encouraging their national pension funds to disinvest in American companies and to seek out alternatives. Nothing American is safe from attack. Local and national governments are being told by angry constituents that it’s time to throw effective and affordable American software systems like Microsoft products on the dust heap and, instead, find European alternatives. 

America-hate has also infected some countries’ defense purchases. Major American defense suppliers are feeling the pushback and are being forced to defend not only the effectiveness of their equipment but also assure Europeans that they will not hit the “kill switches” on sophisticated F-35 aircraft on a whim.

Tourism, too, is taking a hit. Foreign tourism to the U.S. is down, and this is the result of a “culture war” that is playing out, which, in my opinion, is linked to the trade war and that is robbing the dollar of its value, siphoning off industry’s profits and is serving to push America into a corner.

Yet, as everyone knows, when Americans are cornered, they generally fight back. Surrender has never been an option, so what then are the next likely steps if both wars continue simultaneously and apace?

Barring any monumental event or policy change, I would submit that the end result will be an America that chooses to go its own way, effectively taking the country back to the last century when isolationism was a powerful force for Americans. The thought being, “If the rest of the world doesn’t want us, doesn’t like us or our products, fine. We can live with that, but they shouldn’t have our number on speed dial if they want our help.” For globalists, this is the worst possible scenario, today.

The eight decades of friendship that followed the end of the Second World War could be erased quickly, leaving the world’s countries to adopt an “every man for himself” industrial policy.

Without the United States, NATO would collapse or be severely diminished. Bilateral agreements between countries would proliferate, leaving multilateral agreements worthless. Larger predator countries could feel emboldened because of the new disintegration of the old world order that was guaranteed by such multilateral agreements. We could see extra-territorial military incursions be used as test probes to see if other nations would rally to their neighbors’ defense. Current military capabilities of E.U. nations, for example, are insufficient to push back on an advance of say, Russia, against Latvia, which would probably justify its incursion to “protect the Russian-speaking minority” in that country.

Europe could be fighting on multiple “fronts,” some physical like military confrontations and others that are trade-related as countries ramp up domestic production of old industries that have been resurrected to replace the offensive American imports.

Tourism to the U.S. would shrink, dramatically, as would technical, academic and scientific collaboration and other forms of personnel exchange. Visa cooperation between the U.S. and 20 European countries that now enjoy visa-free travel would be suspended. The U.S. tourism industry would survive because of its highly developed destinations and tourism infrastructure, but European tourism would be dealt an expensive blow. U.S. participation in “save the planet” or international energy organizations would be non-existent.

It’s death by a thousand cuts, all because of a lack of understanding.

The unvarnished truth about the reasons for our current troubles with Europe for example, is that the Europeans do not understand what makes America or Americans “tick.”

For many years, they were happy watching America turn towards socialism under eight years of Barack Obama and four years under Joseph Biden. After all, those two presidents and their administrations were more “European-like” and they figured this trend would continue because they thought that most Americans wanted a more social democratic state like their own.

They were wrong.

There are two Americas and anyone who has lived there knows that. Those that haven’t rely on their national news media to paint them a picture that the mostly left-leaning European media believes that its consumers must have in order to perpetuate strongly-held national beliefs in the righteousness and validity of their values.  Instead of using a magnifying glass to really see the United States for what it truly is, European media have given their viewers and readers a mirror and an echo chamber that has only strengthened their national bias.

Maybe a trial separation is necessary so that both the U.S. and its allies can truly determine what’s wrong with the relationship(s).

What we must keep in mind, however, is that every separation has real, long-lasting consequences, and depending on the length of the separation, the consequences can be minimal or significant.

Today, our trade patterns are on the table. Tomorrow it could be anything or everything. If we are to move forward and preserve that relationship we must accept the fact that we are different as people and societies, but that those differences should not lead to our downfall. We must work through them and learn why we are who we are and why we do what we do and embrace introspection and eschew condemnation. This is one of those times when Occam’s Razor cannot be employed … at least not until we know more about each other and stop viewing our differences as impediments to progress.

FAFO: St. Louis Woman Twerking on Roof of Cadillac Slips Off and Is Run Over by a Fire Truck

A St. Louis woman was killed on Saturday night after she slid off the roof of a Cadillac Escalade while twerking and was run over by a St. Louis fire truck heading to an emergency.

The woman, identified as Nyla Simmons, was killed at the intersection of South Compton and Chouteau around 11:30 PM.

Nila slid off the roof when the Escalade turned left. She hit the cement and was then run over by the fire truck.
