This lady (we are presuming she/they is/are a lady) – who looks like she has not missed a meal in her life – explains – with no sense of irony or shame – that farming the land, fishing for food, and worse still ‘making money’ is now on par with mass murder or genocide.
Jojo Mehta – founder of ‘Stop Ecocide Now’ – explains in her upper-class English accent to her ultra-rich peers in Davos that:
“We have this cultural, very ingrained habit of not taking damage to nature as seriously as we take damage to people or property.”
Her goal is to have “mass damage and destruction of nature” legally recognized as “a serious crime.”
“With human rights, mass murder and genocide are serious crimes, but there is no equivalent in the environmental space.”
“Unlike an international crime like genocide that involves a specific intent, with ecocide, what we see is that people are trying to do is make money, is farm, is fish… and what’s missing is an awareness of the side effects and collateral damage that happens…”
From the minute Russia invaded Ukraine, I had doubts about who the good guys and bad guys really were. It turns out both are mostly bad guys, but Ukraine at least revealed their motives.
Look down a few posts and you’ll see the joke that Davos really is. It’s a bunch of elites trying to take over the world and tell us how to live, what to eat and what we can own.
Now Zelensky is whining that if Trump gets elected, his money will run out. He doesn’t appear to care about resolving the situation. That he’s at Davos trying to be in the cool kids club (at least they think that) to go against Trump.
Well, it tells you that what Trump is doing is right if it hurts the power base of the establishment elites. Their life is about money and power, which leads to the destruction of the quality of life, ethics, morals and religious beliefs of the sane world.
Go against Davos every time to find the right answer. If they are against Trump, they are the bad guys
This:
According to the Times, Zelensky initially downplayed worries about Trump, and whether the former US president’s re-election would lead to a drop in support for Ukraine. “One man cannot change the whole nation,” he said during the Q&A.
Zelensky later acknowledged that a win for Trump could affect his country’s military campaign or settlement talks, claiming that “radical voices from the Republican Party” have caused tension and pain for Ukrainians.
More via DealBook:
Zelensky isn’t the only leader at Davos worried about Trump. Multiple attendees have told DealBook that the outcome of the election is a potential risk for business, particularly after the former president thumped his Republican rivals in the Iowa caucuses.
The Ukrainian leader has sought to shore up global business support. He spoke at a private gathering of executives organized by JPMorgan Chase, which is advising Ukraine on its reconstruction efforts.
In the audience at the Congress Center for the talk were Steve Schwarzman of Blackstone, Ray Dalio of Bridgewater, David Rubenstein of Carlyle and Michael Dell of Dell, DealBook hears.
Zelensky also said that US-China tensions are affecting Ukraine, and that bringing Beijing in for postwar reconstruction is important.
He also called on anyone of ‘mobilization age’ in Ukraine to fight, and for punishing Putin’s children and grandchildren.
The responsibility for the destruction of the Ivy League lies not with wokeness nor diversity hires nor a naive donor class, but with the people who are supposed to be keeping the lights on.
Have you ever met a college admissions officer? Who does he or she remind you of?
The answer is: “someone who works at the DMV.” Put nicely, they’re people who’ve done the best they could with limited options. Put cruelly, they’re midwits on a power trip. Perhaps a tad less cynical. A little skinnier. Glasses a bit higher end. But platonically speaking, college admissions officers and DMV workers emanate toward the same form: the ultimate low busybody.
DMV workers afflict the immense class of drivers with their mediocrity. Admissions officers’ victims are a smaller set — people who go (or don’t go because of them) to college. An even smaller set are those who go to colleges that matter, usually measured at about 200 or 300 schools in the mass field of 4,000 predatory loan farms that offer college degrees. And even smaller still are those who go to the best of the best, the places that supposedly mint the leaders of the Western World, the Ivy League.
Either another get woke go broke, or please spare the rest of the world your elitist country club for losers mentality. When I say losers, I mean this (from the WSJ)
Look, I don’t care what color the pilot is. I want the one that is going to get my ass there without crashing, not one that got hired on diversity. Racism is racism no matter what the color you discriminate against.
Meritocracy is dead.
United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby, in a recent interview, admitted that they are no longer seeking the most qualified candidates to safely transport their passengers on commercial flights.
Instead, Kirby says, “We have committed that 50% of the classes will be women or people of color,” instead of the most qualified individuals they can find.
What could go wrong with putting one’s skin color or gender over safety and competency?
Anti-whiteness appears to be evolving into a trend in the airline industry.
Wall Street Silver, a popular finance account on X, warned people that they should not fly with an airline that puts woke DEI standards over safety:
“At this point, I think people really need to think twice about flying on United. The top priority of any airline on 100% of their hiring, especially pilots and mechanics, needs to be safety. Anyone who thinks DEI (racism) should play any role in hiring, that person needs to be removed from the process. The board of directors should terminate the CEO immediately and focus on safety, and only safety.”
Elon Musk also chimed in, saying, “This is messed up.”
The hard landed occurred on July 29th as a previously uneventful United Airlines Boeing 767-300ER flight from the Newark Liberty International Airport to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston turned awfully dramatic.
“According to the [National Transportation Safety Board’s] preliminary report, while landing at IAH, the First Officer was flying and, despite best efforts to keep the nose wheel from bouncing, the nose wheel made contact with abnormal force,” as reported by Simple Flying, an aviation news source.
“The airplane appeared to bounce, and he reacted by pulling aft on the control yoke, in an effort to keep the nose wheel from impacting the runway a second time. Subsequently, the speed brakes deployed, and the auto brakes engaged which resulted in a second bounce of the nose wheel.”
These bounces reportedly caused significant damage to the airplane.
Burn baby burn, disco inferno. The arctic freeze proves that they can’t hold a charge in the cold. Ford lost 4.4 billion on EV production because no one wanted them, or could afford them.
Now, we know why we can’t afford to own them.
Electric vehicles (EVs) appear to have caused multiple fires at manufacturing factories in recent months, sparking a reminder about EV safety.
Most recently, the Detroit Fire Department responded to a three-alarm fire involving lithium-ion batteries at General Motors’ Factory Zero last month, according to Detroit Free Press.
“Our initial investigation indicates a forklift accidentally punctured a container with battery materials, causing the fire,” Tara Stewart Kuhnen, GM spokeswoman, said in an email Wednesday.
The newspaper also reported another fire at the property in October that involved an autonomous electric car. It states the fire department’s report mentions a battery fire.
However, Kuhnen told the newspaper that a non-battery-related component caused the second fire.
Outside Detroit, the Auburn Hills Fire Department responded to a November fire at Chrysler’s Tech Center.
Multiple media reports say Chrysler’s fire involved an EV as well.
Interestingly, it turns out Big Government has no interest in the carbon footprint of any of the politically connected. This report about the US State Department not bothering to calculate carbon emissions despite an order to do so was published this summer.
The State Department didn’t keep tabs on the carbon pollution associated with flying hundreds of federal officials to the last two global climate summits, the Government Accountability Office said in a report made public Thursday.
Failing to do so ran afoul of a 2021 executive order by President Joe Biden that directed agencies to track the greenhouse gas emissions their operations produce, including official air travel, GAO said.
The report was requested by Senate Environment and Public Works Committee ranking member Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who have all criticized the administration’s climate policies.
“Americans are tired of bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. who don’t practice what they preach when it comes to protecting the environment,” Capito said in an email to POLITICO’s E&E News.
It will be interesting to see how many other challengers Kerry and the rest of the billionaire class at Davos experience in this year’s session.
In his speech at Davos, Kerry indicates he is clearly worried about the climate scam being dismantled if former President Donald Trump gets reelected. He assures everyone that “the marketplace” has been so saturated with climate nonsense that Trump won’t be able to hit the reverse button.
In her keynote address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reaffirmed Europe’s unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s invasion. However, in the open admission of priority, President Von der Leyen declares the #1 priority of the corporations who run the WEF and world of politics, must be control of speech and information against their interests.
She goes on to note that political dissent, what she calls “polarization within our societies” must be controlled, as the ability of individuals and groups to assemble against the WEF plan remains a constant threat to the fulfillment of the agenda. [Insert a picture of dissident enemy #1, Donald Trump, here] Yes, you do not need to interpret their intent, you only need to listen to their words and accept them.
Trump must be challenging their world domination plans. They try this every time. It’s what you get when you think you are above others. It’s still socialism, just not spoken out loud
Health leaders are meeting at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Wednesday to discuss ways to prepare for ‘Disease X’ – a term coined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2018 to describe the unknown, hypothetical pathogen that could cause the next pandemic.
According to some experts, Disease X could result in 20 times more fatalities than the coronavirus pandemic.
The elites meet in their annual country club meeting of sex, drugs and insider trading at DAVOS as they plan how to screw the rest of the world.
DAVOS want's you to know that YOU are killing the planet.
For two whole weeks- The 1000 planes, limos, SUVs, the food, the drinks, the hotels, the clothing, the accessories, the shoes, the escort services, 5000 police, the private guards, the waiters, the snacks and nibbles,… pic.twitter.com/gee7G5Vdkm
Besides the climate scam, the new scare is Disease X. Covid didn’t work to control the population so they have to re-invent the wheel. No one knows exactly what the new disease is, but like climate scares, it’s 20 times worse than Covid.
It’s remarkable that these crisis’s occur on election years, but that reveals the pattern of their behavior.
It comes after warnings from experts that a hypothetical new pandemic could kill 20 times more people than the recent coronavirus outbreak. It is hoped that with the correct research framework in place and enough knowledge in place on a global level, a future pandemic could be eliminated in just 100 days.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned of a potential Disease X since 2017, a term indicating an unknown pathogen that could cause a serious international epidemic. Speaking to the WEF on its Radio Davos podcast last year, author Kate Kelland said that extensive research into already-known families of viruses would help humanity prepare and create a vaccine quickly for the the next outbreak.
She said: “Because scientists were working for decades or more on Sars vaccines and also on Mers vaccine, they found out some very key pieces of information about coronaviruses. If we do that kind of homework on every one of the 25 or so viral families that we already know have the potential to cause disease in humans … then we can actually gain a lot of knowledge ahead of time about something that doesn’t exist yet.”
I predict the attendees at Davos will remain oblivious to how their policies will be received.
The 2024 program is one for the ages. Attendees will watch Pfizer’s Albert Bourla and Open AI’s Sam Altman talk about Artificial Intelligence (AI). They’ll see depopulation advocate Bill “Bugman” Gates advancing the climate hoax. John Kerry will appear on four different stages to discuss the “energy transition.” We will also see Klaus Schwab sit down for a 1 on 1 with the second highest ranking Chinese government official.
So while they are dining on caviar, designer drugs and prostitutes, they are planning the next move to rule the world by killing off more people. Either that or it’s an election scare to try and screw Trump again so they can pull the strings around the world.
He died of fentanyl overdose, not how the media lied about police brutality. The premise for BLM was just a stage to get money without working for it. Very little if any was spent on making the lives of those who needed it better. Rather, it bought houses cars and paychecks for families of the grifters.
This is the worst headline I’d ever want to read about travel. FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with ‘severe intellectual’ and ‘psychiatric’ disabilities. No, give me the best there are only and don’t base it on anything but qualifications and not flipping out.
The Federal Aviation Administration is actively recruiting workers who suffer “severe intellectual” disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.
“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”
The initiative is part of the FAA’s “Diversity and Inclusion” hiring plan, which claims “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.” The FAA’s website shows the agency’s guidelines on diversity hiring were last updated on March 23, 2022.
The FAA, which is overseen by Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s Department of Transportation, is a government agency charged with regulating civil aviation and employs roughly 45,000 people.
The first joke or fantasy here is that Benedict Arnold/John Kerry is stepping down to help Biden’s re-election campaign. They either have given up or are throwing a hail Mary to resort to using him.
Next, the obvious that the sane people really know, more evidence that the climate is fine and the whole climate emergency is just a political distraction (and money laundering)
One of the things to remember about climate change madness is that it has all the scientific validity of the flat earth theory or the ancient medical belief in humors. That is to say, it’s a sealed universe driven by self-reinforcing faith and fantasy without any serious reality attached. The last two days have brought two new examples of the delusions and outright lies that drive the climate change narrative.
On the delusion side, we have Axios’s horror that the earth is within 1.5 degrees of the global warming limit set at the Paris Climate Accords, paired with its assurance that (and I’m quoting more accurately than Claudine Gay ever would), “The climate of 2023 was the hottest seen in at least 125,000 years…” (Emphasis mine.)
There are a couple of obvious problems with that article.
First, the Paris Climate Accords was a political agreement aimed at keeping the U.S. economy flat while other nations, which burn filthy coal, were unfettered. Let’s just say that I don’t take its “limits” seriously—although, of course, the climate changistas do.
Second, and this is the more important one, it’s nonsense to pretend we know to a “half-a-degree Celsius” how hot it was 125,000 years ago. Humans began keeping temperature records in the mid-19th century. Everything before that is guesswork. Some of it is scientifically detailed guesswork based upon ice core samples and tree rings, but it’s still estimates without precision.
These kids belt out the national anthem and are proud of the country, unlike the girls soccer team that lost while trashing and hating the country, men and strait people. Take that Rapinoe, you horrible person.
Ex-MSNBC Host Accidentally Discloses What Elites Really Think of Rural Americans
Liberal elites have openly endorsed every form of tyranny, so why would they bother concealing their smug hatred?
For the second time in less than a month, former MSNBC host Chris Matthews appeared on the network’s “Morning Joe” program to express contempt for rural Americans who support former President Donald Trump.
In a rant that mixed condescension, authoritarianism and irony, Matthews put his spiteful and bloodthirsty elitism on display.
The former host encouraged liberal voters to turn out in force for this year’s presidential election.
But that message — innocuous in itself — should fool no one. What mattered was Matthews’ reasoning and broader argument.
“And it’s going to be very close in a place like Pennsylvania, and you’re gonna have rural people out there voting their craziness about the cult,” Matthews said in reference to those who support the GOP front-runner.
The Comms team were the biggest bunch of biased people I’ve worked with. They thought they were superior just because they lived in NY. If we didn’t want to work for IBM in NY, we got looked down upon as underlings. It goes without saying they were flaming liberals
All the while, I was making the same money, but taking home 30 % more for not living in that hellhole. They also are overrun by illegals now and have more crime than most places. The headquarters was the center of backstabbing in the company. Assholes birds of a feather, flock together.
What was funny was that the liberals, just like the IBMers are so caught up in their nose in the air attitude, that they can’t see that they don’t know what is really going on in the country. They don’t realize the world doesn’t revolve around them or even the way they think it revolves
One of the best things about retiring from IBM was never having to deal with the New Yorker’s and their shitty attitude anymore.
Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity (DEI) recently sparked outrage over a discriminatory “privilege list” ahead of MLK Day, which claims that nine “social identity groups” are the benefactors of “unearned benefits.”
Condemning whites, Christians, males, cis-gendered straight people, the able-bodied, middle class and property owners, the middle-aged, and English speakers, the newsletter reads, “Privilege is a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group. Privilege operates on personal, interpersonal, cultural, and institutional levels, and it provides advantages and favors to members of dominant groups at the expense of members of other groups. In the United States, privilege is granted to people who have membership in one or more of these social identity groups.”
The letter continues, “Privilege is characteristically invisible to people who have it. People in dominant groups often believe they have earned the privileges they enjoy or that everyone could have access to these privileges if only they worked to earn them. In fact, privileges are unearned and are granted to people in the dominant groups whether they want those privileges or not, and regardless of their stated intent.”
Martin Luther King Jr. seemingly did not foresee this in his dream that all Americans “will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Still, the university included this “social identities” judgment in their MLK Day celebration
The obvious is that they are run by liberals. It’s the same group of people who were protesting in the 60’s that never left school and took it down the drain.
Now DIE, CRT, victimhood, affirmative action and other nonsense policies have made the sheepskin and education you were supposed to get worth little to not much.
Gone are the days when the best tried their hardest to get in and then get ahead. Besides being woke, the Ivy’s discriminate against Asians and Whites, forcing them to have higher entry standards so that the schools can manipulate their quota’s.
It’s not fair to the students who don’t get in, nor to the students who did get in but can’t keep up. At this point, I could get into the failure of the education system feeding the colleges, but that’s not the point.
While Harvard is the poster boy for the issue, it by no means has a stranglehold on this problem. The California schools are just as woke and have been since hippies.
Since I’m taking university classes right now (Hillsdale College), I’d advise students and parents to evaluate carefully how they spend their money, not waste it.
More on Meritocracy:
We need to return to meritocracy and not diversity for the sake of appearances. It’s not fair to anyone and is only a position of bending over to the woke. Stop it.
Harvard President Claudine Gay claims that she is being forced to resign because of racism. As Greg Gutfeld aptly observed on Fox, Gay is not a victim of racism — she was appointed because she is the beneficiary of racist policy. Ms. Gay is a sterling example of how DEI is the antithesis of meritocracy.
While it may seem that Gay is on the chopping block because of plagiarism or her defense of calls for anti-Jewish genocide, the real reason for her downfall is her lack of qualifications for the job. She was appointed not because she was the best or the brightest, but because she fit the diversity profile that Harvard wanted. Gay is the perfect symbol for a university that has become a bastion of left-wing ideology and the enemy of meritocracy.
Does Harvard really want diversity? If you are a conservative professor, try to get hired at Harvard. People who demand diversity, such as the people who run Harvard, are against viewpoint diversity — also known as free speech. Diversity means “it is great to look different as long as you think the way I do.” Conservatives need not apply.
“If you want to know how dumb the West has become, people have been arguing about how many genders there are, and if it’s FAIR to allow males to compete against females in competitive sports… For 8 YEARS! No wonder no real progress is being made on anything important.” — Zuby
Heating homes this winter using natural gas is estimated to cut down energy costs by more than 40 percent compared to electricity, according to a recent report by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Households using electricity to heat homes are projected to pay $1,063 on average between November and March, according to a Nov. 7 winter fuels outlook report by the EIA. In comparison, households using natural gas are only expected to shell out $601.
Region-wise, the biggest difference is in the Midwest, where electric heating is expected to cost $1,213—more than double the gas cost of $581. In the Northeast, gas heating is projected to be cheaper by $704, in the South by $507, and in the West by $417.
Natural gas heating is also cheaper compared to other alternative energy sources such as propane and heating oil, which are expected to cost $1,343 and $1,851 respectively.
High heating costs borne by households using electricity come as the Biden administration is pushing an electrification agenda.
The administration is already imposing several restrictions on the use of gas-powered appliances. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced new efficiency standards for residential gas furnaces, pool pumps, battery chargers, dehumidifiers, ceiling fans, incandescent light bulbs, and gas stoves that would severely curtail their use.
Secondly, the Biden administration is offering rebates on the use of electric appliances in homes. The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act set aside $8.8 billion in rebates for home energy efficiency and electrification projects.
In a June 2 interview with The Epoch Times, O.H. Skinner, executive director of the Alliance for Consumers, said the Biden administration’s push for electrification of home appliances is bad news for Americans.
“That will make it so that nearly the majority of the current products on the market don’t meet the standards and have to be redesigned or removed from the market,” he said.
“Everyday things that people actually want are going to get more expensive or disappear, and the products that will be available will be more expensive but not better. People are going to wonder why life is worse.”
How woke do you have to be? We used to be taught to protect females, the weaker sex. Now we’re going to celebrate kicking the crap out of them, and girls are behind this. They should use some of that Trump hating emotion to protect themselves from the harm this is going to cause.
Of all the sports in which men claiming to be women seek to be allowed to compete against women, boxing must be among the most dangerous.
Nevertheless, USA Boxing has taken the outrageous decision of allowing men to compete in the female category of amateur and Olympic-style boxing provided they meet various criteria.
In a news release Friday, the organization announced a new transgender policy under which a “boxer who transitions from male to female is eligible to compete in the female category.”
It said the athlete must have completed “gender reassignment surgery,” must undergo quarterly hormone testing for four years after surgery and must fall below a total testosterone threshold. The policy is already receiving criticism from female boxers, who correctly point out that boxing involves intense physical combat as opposed to, say, track and field or soccer
Generate new mas
One of those critics was Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges, who won the International Boxing Federation women’s bantamweight title in 2022.
“This is wrong on so many levels. I will never agree to this… it’s bad enough having trans women breaking records in other sports like track and field, swimming and power lifting but it’s a bit different to them breaking our skulls in combat sports where the aim is to HURT YOU not just break a record,” she wrote on the X platform.
And especially the USA. They find minute things to hate while ignoring all the good that we have done (sounds like Europeans here by accident)
But then there is 2 sets of rules
In the end, this is who they hate the most. It’s probably because it is the greatest threat to their power. Of all my trump hating acquaintances, they don’t know why they hate him, other than what they were told by the media.
If I didn’t need any more proof that the Climate crap we get is a scam, there’s the following. It’s just a scare tactic to grift money out of people dumb enough to give it, in this case Bloomberg, SMH. It’s just another wedge issue from those trying to distract us from the abject failure of the current administration.
As one digests Rupert Darwall’s latest report for the RealClear Foundation, the well-known quote from Spanish philosopher George Santayana might ring through the mind: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
Anyone looking to combat the activists pushing a ‘net zero’ agenda here in the U.S. would be wise to read Darwall’s piece, entitled “The Folly of Climate Leadership.”
The analysis tells the story of Great Britain heeding the cries for decarbonization, starting when Parliament wrote an 80% decrease in emissions target into law in 2008. They raised it to 100% – or “net zero” – in 2019. The results have clearly been catastrophic.
Since decarbonization efforts commenced, Britain’s economy has grown at half the rate as it did from 1990-2008. According to a research study from noted British economic historian Nicholas Crafts, that’s the second-worst period of British peacetime growth since 1780.
In addition to the economic malaise, British energy prices have skyrocketed, and Britons are now concerned with how to survive the effect of those costs on their wallets, as they look to heat and power their homes and businesses, travel for work and pleasure and live life as best they can.
The differences between British energy costs and those here in the U.S. are staggering: Britons paid an average of $228 per megawatt hour (MWh) for electricity generated from coal in 2022, whereas Americans paid an average of $27 per MWh. For natural gas, 2022 saw Britons paying $251 per MWh, versus American consumers averaging $61 per MWh for their power.
Darwall’s report also highlights the effects of unchecked and anti-market driven government investment in ‘green’ energy on grid reliability, as intermittent production from wind and solar – coupled with a lack of utility-grade energy storage – dropped electricity generated per gigawatt of capacity falling 28% since 2009.
The same arguments that have crippled Britain’s economy are now being used by the Biden Administration here at home, with zealots in Cabinet-level positions – including Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, and EPA Director Michael Regan – pushing the message from their bully pulpits.
The recent – and completely misnamed – Inflation Reduction Act passed by Congress provided the zealots with nearly $400 billion to dole out to supportive organizations and start-ups to jump-start our nation’s push for ‘net zero.’ Those dollars – doled out with few oversights or performance metrics attached in many cases – have produced very few wins in the last year, unless a win is measured in keeping political cronies happy and rich.
Consider: wind energy projects in Nebraska, Colorado, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey were scrapped last year, even after untold millions of federal dollars went to their developers. Over 100 solar companies went bankrupt, and solar projects from California to Florida were shuttered in the middle of their development. Battery storage – a key component to offsetting the intermittency of wind and solar – also saw projects stalled, along with at least one lawsuit filed against a storage company when its solution failed.
Despite the perils of ‘green’ energy dependence shown throughout Europe, the eco-left continues to double down on ridding America of traditional energy sources. Supporting those efforts are ideologue billionaires, who continue to fund net-zero initiatives.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has given well over $1 billion of his personal wealth to the Sierra Club to fund its “Beyond Coal” and “Beyond Carbon” campaigns. Designed to rid the U.S. of every coal-fired power plant by 2030, the Sierra Club/Bloomberg partnership has succeeded in shutting down nearly two-thirds of the plants to-date, with most of the remaining in rural locations, including my home state of Alaska, where alternatives to existing coal plants in the state’s interior don’t readily exist. Without coal, countless Alaskans would have their livelihoods – and very lives – threatened during our long, dark and sub-zero-temperature winters.
With activists entrenched in government bureaucracy, zealots running government agencies and rich men (and women) funding these efforts, only those educated in historical failures of decarbonization – and willing to stand up and fight back against the climate warriors – stand a chance of helping stem the attacks. Darwall’s study should be required reading for anyone looking to build a fortress in their state against job-killing, family-harming decarbonization efforts.
More fun to read about politicians, celetards and the famous who are associated with Epstein, who didn’t hang himself.
After releasing 40 newly unsealed documents Wednesday and 20 unsealed documents Thursday, a federal court released more than 130 new documents relating to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein on Friday evening.
First, this de-populationist buys up all the farmland in the country to contaminate or restrict the food supply, then becomes the left hand of the insect as food promoting WEF.
This stuff is not only disgusting, it will help kill you. Only eat grass feed hormone free meat.
An international investigation has exposed the gruesome reality being the globalist push to flood the food supply with biotech products such as Bill Gates’ lab-grown “meats.”
Dutch investigative journalist Elze van Hamelen has published a new report to raise the alarm about the “tsunami of fake foods” being rolled out by the biotech industry.
Despite claims from the green agenda elite, fake meats are not about your health or the environment.
Van Hamelen warns that these products are a tool to phase out farmers and ranchers so the agriculture industry can be replaced with ultra-processed food products that can be controlled by patents.
Creating lab-grown meat is “insanely expensive,” van Hamelen notes.
The production of these “foods” is also plagued by bacterial and viral contamination.
Despite the pharmaceutical-style manufacturing, lab-grown meat isn’t considered a pharmaceutical product.
This means that no human testing is required.
Instead of directing your food dollars to corporate supermarket chains or fake food products, van Hamelen recommends supporting small farmers growing real food.
Lab-grown products may one day represent 80 percent or more of the “meat” consumed worldwide.
This shift would be a dramatic departure from the way humans have eaten for centuries.
Of course, this change in the food supply will only impact the general public as the wealthy elite will continue to eat traditional meat products.
Sure, I expected teachers, professors and psychiatrists to be libtarded, but Accountants, Physicians and Engineers also?
How did they get to be that under educated? When did they start behaving like sheep? The propaganda was good enough for them to believe and not notice what was happening to them.
The charts show the woke progression over the years. It’s disappointing for our future.
Biden was able to peel off just enough working-class voters to help make up a large enough Democrat coalition to pull off a win. In 2020, Biden “managed to raise the Democratic share of the white working-class men’s vote—the heart of the Trump coalition—to 31%, versus Clinton’s weak 23% showing. By contrast, Biden could do no better than Clinton’s showing among women overall, and he actually lost ground among white working-class women,” according to a post-election analysis by Brookings. Not very impressive.
When one steps back to look at the big picture, it’s not at all surprising that the common-sense class leans right. This is because its traditional social rival class, the white-collar elites, has been wholly captured by far-left fundamentalism. The degree to which the transformation has occurred is shocking.
Medical researcher Kevin Bass’s apology for the health community’s COVID-19 totalitarianism caused quite a stir when Newsweek published it a year ago, and he has only become more red-pilled since then. Over the weekend, he created and posted on X a series of animated graphs that show how the political leanings of America’s professionals have tilted hard left in recent times.
“I generated these figures using Adam Bonica’s DIME dataset at Stanford [1],” Bass says of his method. “They were generated by plotting the donor scores of physicians who had made political contributions during the respective years. Such measures have been shown to strongly correlate with the ideology of donors [2] and thus serve as a proxy for the profession’s ideological leaning, especially in recent years, where more than 10% of physicians have made such political contributions.”
Bass’s animated graphs are eye-opening indeed.
A medical scientist, he naturally looked at the major white-collar health professions, and what he found explains a lot. (COVID fascism and transgender mania come to mind.)
Orthodox Jewish leaders condemned The Harvard Crimson, the student newspaper of Harvard University, for “whitewashing” antisemitism in a series of op-eds published at the tail end of 2023.
Although Harvard’s efforts to respond to antisemitism on campus after Hamas’ terrorist attacks Oct. 7 in Israel drew early scrutiny, the university took the spotlight even more after its president, Claudine Gay, said at a Dec. 5 congressional hearing that calls for genocide against the Jewish people may not violate Harvard’s policies against harassment, depending on context. Gay resigned Tuesday amid a plagiarism scandal; concerns about Harvard’s failure to clamp down on antisemitism remain.
The Harvard Crimson published “Antisemitism at Harvard, According to Seven Jewish Affiliates” on Dec. 29, a package of five “op-eds,” three of which warn against the “weaponization of antisemitism” against pro-Palestine protesters.
One op-ed claims that “Jewish safety—in Israel and the diaspora—is inextrictably intertwined with Palestinian liberation.” In another, a former executive director of Harvard Hillel condemns “today’s McCarthyist tactic of manufacturing an antisemitism scare, which, in effect, turns the very real issue of Jewish safety into a pawn in a cynical political game to cover for Israel’s deeply unpopular policies with regard to Palestine.”
Some essays acknowledge the deep pain that Israelis and American Jews feel since the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7 in southern Israel, where terrorists slaughtered more than 1,200 people, including women and children, and raped women while murdering them.
You begin to wonder whether the government is really out to get us or is just dumb as shit. The conspiracist in me remembers Covid and the 2020 elections. Lock everyone down while committing crimes, the old magicians watch my hand and not the door behind me trick.
Well, they’ve got a new list of stuff to scare the under educated with. The reason I question it is that the hotbed is the United States when in fact a lot of the shady practices are known to be in China.
Between 2000 and 2021 at least 16 pathogens reportedly escaped from research laboratories, according to a new study published in The Lancet Microbe — but the study authors said their findings may “only represent the tip of the iceberg” in terms of numbers due to a lack of standard reporting requirements.
A team of researchers surveyed peer-reviewed articles and online reports in English, Chinese and German, looking for all indications that a pathogen accidentally “escaped” from a lab or that an infection was determined to be “laboratory-acquired” during the study period.
In addition to the 16 episodes of pathogenic “escape,” the researchers found 309 instances of lab-acquired infections caused by 51 different pathogens.
Seventy-seven percent of those infections were caused by bacterial pathogens, 13.9% were caused by viruses, 7.1% by parasites, 1.6% by fungi and less than 1% by a prion agent.
Eight of the cases were fatal, and six of those deaths were caused by bacteria, such as Yersinia pestis, which causes plague, or Neisseria meningitidis. One death was caused by Ebola virus.
The vast majority of infections occurred as an outcome of “procedural errors,” breaches of biosafety or risk mitigation procedures, which included using the wrong personal protective equipment, having inadequate training or mishandling samples.
Needlestick injuries, spills, splashes, open vials, animal bites or “unknown reasons” caused the remainder of the infections.
Most illnesses occurred in North America, Europe and Asia with the U.S. accounting for more than three-quarters of the infections. The majority of pathogen escapes were “internal,” meaning they were confined to the lab, but a few escaped into the broader community.
I’m not surprised that the CDC and the NIH are behind a lot of this. They were behind us having to bend over and taking it in the ass over Covid. They are taking away freedoms from us one at a time, like being pecked to death by a pack of ducks
Cause of Climate Change? It Isn’t Carbon Dioxide, Expert Says:
The Earth’s rotation around the sun affects the planet’s temperature, says Soon, a visiting fellow on the Science Advisory Committee of the Center for Energy, Climate, and Environment at The Heritage Foundation. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.)
Glaciers, for example, “melted away because the sun started to get … brighter and provided more solar energy to the climate system,” according to Soon.
Throughout his career, Soon, a former researcher with the Center for Astrophysics-Harvard & Smithsonian, says he has sought to pursue the facts surrounding shifts in the climate because “science is not about belief.”
“Science is about data,” he said.
Many people think that it is “rising carbon dioxide that is the main factor … that affects climate change, and that is wholly untrue,” Soon says. “That is such a distorted view that I think it needs to be corrected.”
Someone should shut up Kerry and Biden also. It would stop the waste of money (laundering) on this, but then it doesn’t fit the climate narrative does it.
I don’t write much about the myriad of sick and twisted stories that surround Jeffrey Epstein, because everything in that rabbit hole is a matrix of perversion and manipulation by sick people, sick government officials, and blackmail material in a world of darkness and evil.
Additionally, all of the previous claims about Donald Trump being associated with that perverse industry and assembly are false {Citation Here}. However, I can understand how the merge of exploitation, sex trafficking of young women, sexual blackmail and politics can hold ramifications for our current state of affairs.
It’s a problem in the western world that is rarely discussed in the media beyond puff-piece articles and glancing polls that avoid connecting the dots. The precipitous decline of dating, committed relationships and marriage along with a flatline in population in the past couple decades in the US is treated as a novelty issue rather than the threat to the stability of civilization that it actually is. History shows that without the traditional family structure, numerous ugly societal consequences follow.
One could argue, though, that the situation is far worse than that. We may be heading into a future where families become a novelty, and many argue that the root cause is feminism and the hyperinflated delusions of progressive women.
In order to understand the problem we have to look at the stats.
More than 50% of American women are still childless by age 30. By age 35 fertility goes into steep decline with women having a 15% chance of becoming pregnant, and a less than 5% chance of motherhood at age 40. Meaning, the best window of opportunity for women to find a compatible partner and build a family is in their 20s.
Feminists argue, though, that this is the time in a woman’s life when they should be building a career and having fun. Family life, they say, is an artificial prison “created by the patriarchy” in order to oppress the fairer sex. Corporate media and Hollywood entertainment often reinforce this narrative and encourage unrealistic life goals.
The word on the street is “Hoeflation”: The dramatic increase in cost for men today to maintain a relationship with a woman while the quality of women continues to go down. That is to say, it is an increase in female expectations vs what they bring to the table in a relationship.
In other words, women of the past used to have something to offer beyond sexual companionship, from greater femininity, greater potential for motherhood, less combativeness and narcissism, as well as a superior ability to raise children and maintain a home. Such traits are highly attractive to men even after 60 years of widespread feminism, but are seen as non-existent among women under 30 in 2023.
It should be noted that “Hoeflation” seems to be directly linked to progressive influences, and not all women fall into this category. Unfortunately, around 71% of young women identify with progressive beliefs, as opposed to young men who are only 53% progressive. It should also be noted that progressive today means something a lot different from what it meant in the 1990s (progressive now means woke, or extreme leftist cultism).
A sure way to make a movie flop is to hire a director who alienates a big chunk of the audience before the film is even released.
Will Disney ever learn? Not until it goes broke, it would seem.
The company has hired activist and documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to direct the next “Star Wars” movie, slated to be released in 2026.
Obaid-Chinoy is on record saying, “We’re in 2024 now, and I think it’s about time that we had a woman come forward to shape the story in a galaxy far, far away.”
In case Obaid-Chinoy isn’t aware, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has led the “Star Wars” franchise for a decade. So much for breaking the glass ceiling. Kennedy’s been there, done that.
In a 2015 interview with Obaid-Chinoy, Jon Stewart observed that there seems to be a thread running through Obaid-Chinoy’s work — the idea that “men are a**holes.”
Stewart’s comment caused Obaid-Chinoy to giggle like a schoolgirl, exposing her hatred for roughly half the human population. I wonder if she holds male dogs or cats in equal disdain.
“I like to make men uncomfortable,” Obaid-Chinoy said in the interview. “I enjoy making men uncomfortable.”
I didn’t think it could be worse than the last three, but they managed to lower the bar. Look at who the hero was in Episodes 4,5 and 6 and stop making it be the opposite. They are even telling audiences that it’s going to suck
I’ve been playing with ChatGPT looking to find either holes in the system or it going woke on me. It looks like I found both.
It’s still GIGO (garbage in, garbage out). The stuff I asked it is readily available online so I knew the answers before I asked it. I do this to try and catch it and the biased people behind it.
I’d had it with NASCAR for being woke and chasing away its’ fanbase. First it was banning the Confederate Flag, then country music and then DEI. So I asked it some questions. It wouldn’t even try to answer the obvious.
Me: how much did NASCAR TV ratings go down after banning the confederate flag?
ChatGPT
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don’t have specific data on the long-term impact of NASCAR’s decision to ban the Confederate flag on TV ratings. NASCAR announced the ban on displaying the Confederate flag at its events in June 2020, as part of its commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
It’s important to note that accurately attributing changes in TV ratings to a specific event or policy decision can be challenging due to the influence of various factors. TV ratings can be affected by race outcomes, changes in the competitive landscape, economic conditions, overall interest in the sport, and other variables.
For the most up-to-date information on NASCAR TV ratings and any potential trends related to the ban on the Confederate flag or other factors, it’s recommended to check recent reports from reliable sources, including sports media outlets and television rating agencies. The impact of such decisions on viewership can also be subjective, and opinions on these matters may vary.
Me: how much did NASCAR TV ratings go down when they went woke?
ChatGPT
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don’t have specific data on NASCAR TV ratings related to any perceived shift in the organization’s approach or actions being characterized as “going woke.” It’s important to note that discussions around sports organizations and their viewership ratings can be complex, influenced by various factors, and opinions on the reasons for changes in ratings can differ.
The term “going woke” generally refers to actions taken by organizations to address social justice issues or adopt more inclusive policies. However, the impact on TV ratings can be influenced by a range of factors, including changes in the competitive landscape, viewer demographics, overall interest in the sport, economic conditions, and more.
For the most up-to-date and accurate information on NASCAR TV ratings, especially any changes associated with specific initiatives or shifts in approach, it’s recommended to check recent reports from reliable sources, including sports media outlets, NASCAR itself, or television rating agencies.
Please note that opinions on the relationship between sports organizations addressing social issues and changes in TV ratings can vary, and discussions on this topic can be nuanced and subjective.
Me: how much did NASCAR TV ratings go down from the Bubba Wallace issue (I already looked up that it did go down a lot)
ChatGPT
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don’t have specific data on the long-term impact of the Bubba Wallace incident on NASCAR TV ratings. The incident in question refers to the discovery of a noose in Bubba Wallace’s garage stall at Talladega Superspeedway in June 2020. It was initially investigated as a potential hate crime but later determined to be a garage door pull rope.
The incident received significant media attention and sparked discussions about race and diversity within the sport. However, accurately measuring the impact on TV ratings is complex, as multiple factors can influence viewership.
NASCAR experienced a mix of challenges and opportunities during the 2020 season, including the COVID-19 pandemic, schedule changes, and efforts to address racial and social justice issues. While there were reports of increased interest and attention to NASCAR during certain periods of the season, the long-term impact on TV ratings can be influenced by various factors.
For the most up-to-date information on NASCAR TV ratings and any potential trends related to the Bubba Wallace incident or other factors, it is recommended to check recent reports from reliable sources, including sports media outlets and television rating agencies. Keep in mind that assessing the impact of specific events on TV ratings can be subjective and may involve analyzing data over time.
The bullshit that is spewed from Washington, the current White House, the MSM, anyone connected to Covid and the upcoming elections, so we need to know how to figure out the truth. If you don’t want to read, the answer is usually the opposite of whatever they are trying.
If they are accusing someone of something, it is what they are doing.
The current status quo on racism for example is that only white, conservative, Christian, republican men are racist and/or can be discriminated against.
For the entire time since the Civil war, it has been the democrats, the MSM and the woke who mostly are responsible for racism and discrimination. We had almost put racial identity politics behind us until Obama and Holder divided the nation.
It makes us cringe when we hear black Americans praise Lyndon B. Johnson and talk about how he passed the Civil Rights Act and signed it into law. He was a known racist. The crazy thing is, some sources also attribute this quote to Johnson: “We will have those n-word’s voting Democrat for the next 200 years.” So while he was signing the Civil Rights Act into law with one hand, he was unapologetically spewing racist words and trying to control the black vote with the other hand.
He didn’t care about blacks.
Now, anything that is not from the left or if they don’t get their way is racist.
Joy Reid, Shiela Jackson Lee, Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, Lewis Hamilton, Bubba Wallace, Colin Kaepernick, Don Lemon, MSNBC, CNN, Whoopi Goldberg, Lebron James, Jussie Smollet and the Squad have all cried racism, when in fact they have been the racist ones.
Joe Biden has a list a mile long of racist remarks, yet uses it when he doesn’t get his way, like the recent speech on the voting bill. He quoted Jefferson Davis, George Wallace as what we were if we didn’t support him. Davis was a democrat. Biden was friends with Robert Byrd, Grand Cleagle of the KKK.
On 2/3/2022 Biden made this racist comment:
President Joe Biden referred to blacks as “colored” during a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday during Black History Month.
Biden was telling the story of seeing “colored kids” on a bus when he moved from Scranton, Pa., to Claymont, Dela.
In context: Joe Biden, George Wallace, Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis are all Democrats.
both democrats and life long compatriots
Byrd in full uniform
Never forget what Democrats, & notably @JoeBiden, did to Janice Rogers Brown, Priscilla Owen – but more… Miguel Estrada. Destroying a good man specifically because he is Hispanic. We know this to be factually true, but the beltway media elites brush it aside. #RacistDCDemocratshttps://t.co/2KKXUUsWlr
The South in the Civil War were democrats. Slave owners were mostly democrats.
I can go on with this, but the pattern is there. It is those who cry racism because is is a cheap threat to get their way. They then make false claims that if said by a white male would be called racist, therefore what they say is racist. It’s logic.
2. It’s not a socialist agenda. The hell it’s not. The current Congress is trying to fix elections so they can stay in power, are making millions on insider stock trades (both parties) and pass laws to keep one class in power to rule the others. They want to take away guns, the start of a communist movement and regulate everything. (that is why they hated Trump so much, he took away their overbearing regulatory powers)
It says right on the BLM website that they are a Marxist organization. Bernie Sanders is a communist.
3. Collusion with Russia and China. After a 3 year circus which cost the taxpayers 30+ million dollars. We found out that Trump didn’t do anything. On the other hand, Hunter Biden is on the board of Burisma and is being bought by the Russians and the Chinese. Hillary sold the rights to much of our uranium to the Russians.
His whoring and drugging is well documented, but the MSM isn’t covering a bit of it. The FBI should be all over this, but they are protecting their own.
So if they say someone else is colluding, it is who is saying it.
4. The vaccine is the only cure to Covid and that it will cure Covid.
If you go to the Danish studies, or look at the vaccine failure in Israel, you can pretty much know that the jab has nothing to do with preventing either getting or spreading Covid. It’s a cover for a power grab.
Ending Covid
They have a plan to end Covid and Donald Trump doesn’t. They campaigned on not to take a trump vax, and claimed they weren’t left with any vaccines or plans when Trump left. Biden had plenty of vaccine supply (when we thought it worked) and a Plan (Operation Warp Speed) to handle it. Fucking it up was the Biden/Harris job.
Harris said she wouldn’t trust a jab that Trump developed. Now we should get 3 shots because it is the B/H vaxx now. Talk about a flip/flop.
3. Global Warming. This is a socialist agenda that is just another scare dreamed up to scam money. The biggest bullshitter was Al Gore.
Right now, countries are shutting off fossil fuels with no back up. Solar and wind energy have failed to provide what is needed and they are closing down nuclear plants. Now, prices are skyrocketing for fuel and that is all that is working.
men and women are equal – sports will be men and co-ed
Military needs to be woke – china laughing at us. military needs to defend country. goal is to kill and protect, not dress up
We need absentee voter pickup boxes,
It’s already been determined, from research by Rodney Doyle at the Caesar Rodney Election Research Institute in Irving, Texas, that the $419.5 million Mark Zuckerberg of Meta gave the Center for Technology and Civil Life and the Center for Election Innovation and Research essentially bought the 2020 election for Joe Biden.
Now there’s evidence that was the strategy all along, that the goal of such election manipulation had been birthed years before and ultimately used by extremists.
The procedure was that Zuckerberg handed over the money and leftist activists distributed it before the election – not in a nonpartisan fashion as some have claimed – but specifically to extremists like themselves who used it for get-out-the-vote efforts specifically aimed at benefiting Biden.
A new analysis at The Federalist, by Doyle, confirms that the money was used “to manipulate the 2020 election in favor of President Joe Biden.”
January 6th was an attack on democracy
Feminists will go all Karen on the USA, white men and discrimination in America, but will ignore women’s rights around the world where the oppression really takes place.
2023 marked Disney’s 100th anniversary of making movie magic.
It also marked a disastrous year at the box office.
Out of eight major theatrical releases from Disney this year, seven of them significantly underperformed with audiences not just in the U.S. but overseas as well.
A look back at the rough year for the House of Mouse:
Superhero slump
One of the most popular film franchises in the 21st century has been the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ever since 2008’s “Iron Man,” Disney’s catalog of superheroes and the stars that play them drove tens of millions of Americans into theaters. That wasn’t the case with two out of the three Marvel flicks released in 2023.
The first was in February with “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” Despite an all-star cast including Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer and Bill Murray, the $200 million-priced film earned only $215 million domestically and $476 million worldwide, far short of the $600 million it needed to break even on its theatrical run, according to Variety. That’s less than the $519 million worldwide earnings from the first “Ant-Man” film in 2015 and the $623 million the second installment earned in 2018 (not adjusted for inflation).
“The Marvels,” however, opened to just $46 million and may not even reach $100 million domestically (its total gross so far is less than $90 million domestically and roughly $200 million worldwide), making it the lowest-grossing Marvel film in the entire franchise and putting it in box office disaster territory, given its reported $274 million budget.
I was a super hero fan and a Star Wars fan. Disney, courtesy of Kathleen Kennedy made them woke and terrible. Ultimately, the are all but unwatchable. It’s going to be a long time before I can see good movies again. Men, and white’s are not the villains every time. Captain America was a hero since WWII, even he is going woke in the new rendition.
I will probably see Ferrari though. I’d own one if I had some F/U money come my way.
Harvard President Claudine Gay will resign Tuesday afternoon, bringing an end to the shortest presidency in the University’s history, according to a person with knowledge of the decision.
University Provost Alan M. Garber ’76 will serve as Harvard’s interim president during a search for Gay’s permanent successor, the Harvard Corporation — the University’s highest governing body — announced in an email on Tuesday.
Harvard spokesperson Jonathan L. Swain declined to comment on Gay’s decision to step down.
Gay’s resignation — just six months and two days into the presidency — comes amid growing allegations of plagiarism and lasting doubts over her ability to respond to antisemitism on campus after her disastrous congressional testimony Dec. 5.
Gay’s resignation letter contains no denials or admitting concerning plagiarism. She also did not mention antisemitism.
Glenn Reynolds wrote, “Not-so-great people tend to choose not-so-great people. In this, Harvard is like so many of our institutions, in and out of academia. If the best people aren’t getting to the top — if, in fact, the people at the top are often the worst people and are consistently mediocre — then your selection process is at fault. And if you don’t want to change the selection process, then you’re happy having your institutions run by bad leaders, with the inevitable results. That’s where we are all across America today.”
Al Sharpton said, “President Gay’s resignation is about more than a person or a single incident. This is an attack on every black woman in this country who’s put a crack in the glass ceiling.” He of course lives as a race hoax hustler for money who has lied to get where he is (Tawana Brawley)
Don’t hire the incompetent to check the boxes for diversity and DEI/CRT. It is a failure every time. It also made Harvard look pretty bad, or as the rest of the world actually sees it, overrated.
I thought it was just the Europeans gutting themselves until this. We have to get rid of the Washington cabal. Time for you patriots to vote this year. FJB/LGB
Since August, there are officially more arriving each month than there are children being born to American mothers.
Another day, another headline blurring the line between news story and Babylon Bee satire.
A lonely woman in Canada has decided that she is in love with a tree. And not in a hippy tree-hugger way — no, she has declared herself an “ecosexual,” who is “erotically” attracted to this poor, unsuspecting tree.
Really.
Sonja Semyonova, 45, (not to be confused with the devout and unwilling prostitute from Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment) is a self-professed “self-intimacy guide and somatic sex educator in training,” according to the New York Post.
Her enduring passion for this deciduous specimen apparently began during the COVID lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.
According to Breitbart News, after moving to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in 2020, Semyonova’s atraction to this tree began when she noticed it during her daily walks. After walking, “near the tree five days a week for the whole winter. I noticed a connection with the tree,” she said.
During that lonely time, she had been “craving that rush of erotic energy that comes when you meet a new partner, and that is not sustainable.”
It brings tree-hugger to a new level. When I hear sustainable, I know the bullshit is about to flow. Also, never underestimate crazy in a girl. As Wirecutter says: Pyscho Chicks, we’ve all known one.
The District of Columbia has the highest percentage of LGBTQ individuals in the United States, according to a UCLA study released in December.
In the nation’s capital, 14.3% of the population claims to be part of that community, with Oregon, Delaware, Vermont and New Hampshire also topping 7% of their population identifying as LGBTQ, the study by the Williams Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, said. The study estimated the total population of LGBTQ individuals is 13.9 million, or roughly 5.5% of the United States population, according to The Hill.
We started our country to get away from and not be like Europeans. It’s getting tiresome to be told to act like them because that is the standard they are measuring by.
Here’s how it began.
Washington on Christmas
My European relatives and travels have shown me a few things. They didn’t progress as far and as much as the US has since the above, and that the favorite sport in Europe isn’t football, it’s trashing America.
They are mostly socialist now and have had their land, welfare system and country invaded by the goat herders. I’ll give you that our southern border has been overrun, but that’s going to change in 2024 when the politician they loathe the most gets re-elected. Most of them aren’t people wanting to kill and rape, but came to seek a better life. I’ll especially laugh at my wife’s relatives then.
Well, here we have them at it again. See below.
The European Union’s (EU) regulatory agenda will largely hit U.S. technology companies and will impact Americans’ speech and lifestyle by stifling innovation, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The EU laws consist of content moderation regulation, antitrust enforcement and artificial intelligence (AI) model rules, all carrying massive financial penalties for violation. The laws apply to platforms that have large user bases in the EU, which are mainly American companies, with the EU recently launching a formal investigation into billionaire Elon Musk’s X and bipartisan lawmakers pushing President Joe Biden to ensure the regulation does not harm U.S. firms unfairly, according to Reuters.
“The EU views industry regulations as aspirational, which means there’s an element of selective enforcement and only require industry to put good-faith efforts when complying,” Joel Thayer, president of the Digital Progress Institute, told the DCNF. “It’s why they are far more strident. … Therein lies the problem, the EU can turn the dial up or down on how fervently they will regulate. Given how broad all of these laws are—particularly the AI Act, this means that every company that either creates software, distributes software, or has it in their devices are implicated. The EU’s laws now encompass everything from social media to children’s toys.”
It’s laughable. Whatever doesn’t fit the narrative gets branded racist. So much so that it’s losing it’s meaning. It’s turned into a joke and hurts everyone except those with either an ax to grind or money to be grifted.
Here’s the list and the link:
ANALYSIS: Actual racism is rare today, but academia continues to find it
Racism is still alive and well in society – if you ask academia.
The College Fix reported on 71 things this year that were declared racist or in need of “anti-racist” action, thus indicating they currently suffer from racism.
One person and his center were not officially declared racist but deserve special mention. Professor Ibram Kendi has taught that “[a] racist policy is any measure that produces or sustains racial inequity between racial groups,” according to his book “How to be an Antiracist.”
Despite a growing trend of downplaying biology’s significance in athletic performance, a recent study — refreshingly — shows what should be obvious: Biological men are stronger and faster than biological women.
The Publica reports the researchers examined results from almost two dozen races in the New York Road Runners “non-binary” category, in which both biological males and females can compete.
There are some PC statements in it, so I listed the obvious. Males are kicking ass when they compete against females. It’s something we’ve all known since the beginning of time, but the woke mob somehow believes that men with dicks still intact are equal to girls.
So far, no girls who had an addadicktome surgery have won anything in men’s competition.
It goes from bad to worse. Maybe parents will stop wasting their money and send their kids to a real school to learn rather than be indoctrinated.
If @Harvard President Gay resigns, it does not restore Harvard’s reputation. That would only begin when the Corporation board members acknowledge that they made a bad choice of leader, which they have been unwilling to do.
I recently had some surgery. The first doctor I went to gave me the talk about it being no problem and easy. I wanted a second opinion and it turned out that the actual diagnosis and surgery were completely different than what doctor one diagnosed. Doctor two was the head surgeon at the State University, teaches and has many published papers.
I and everyone else I imagine want competency, in fact excellence in care. I want meritocracy in selection, not equality. It’s like the pilot on my plane. I want the best, not the most diverse. I want my ass to get there safely.
If you are going to put your life in someone else’s hands while you are under anesthesia, it damn well better be the best trained one there is.
Now this:
DEI is a hyperaggressive and politicized quota system, a radicalized version of affirmative action for certain so-called “marginalized” people. It divides society into “groups” based on race, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, and so on. It gives preference to certain favored groups, which include, in descending order: Muslims, transgenders, gays, blacks, Hispanics, and women. It discriminates against other groups currently out of favor, chiefly whites, males, heterosexuals, and Christians. Alas, of late, another group has joined the list of the despised, and is now, perhaps, the chief target of DEI hatred: The Jews.
Rejecting the individual, DEI reduces American society into a collection of groups or tribes, hence the “tribalization“ of society. This tribalization (racialization) is based on certain immutable, physical traits such as skin color and sex. This, by the way, has been the norm for all of human history and throughout the world. America was unique in that it rejected tribalization, group characteristics, and superficial appearance, and elevated the individual, which accounted for its historic success, and the reason so many sought to live here.
DEI, furthermore, has no place in any institution that values standards and color-blind meritocracy. If diversity becomes the driving force behind hiring and promotion, or even a small part of it, rather than skill, accomplishment, and merit, then it necessarily compromises standards.
If the goal is diversity, and to have proportional representation in Memorial Hospital’s work force, based on race, sex, sexual orientation, and other such trivialities, even in part, and the hospital does not contemplate the individual and his unique abilities and contributions over all else, then the system collapses and becomes simply one of groups or tribes competing with one another. Meritocracy necessarily dies in such a system. You can have DEI or meritocracy, but not both.
This is somewhat of a predictably tragic outcome all things considered. I remember a previous conversation on these pages when GM moved massive investment into China to build their mid-size SUV brand, Encore.
Continuing the U.S. decline of the brand, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that approximately half of all Buick dealership in the U.S. have opted to take a buyout from GM, as opposed to spending millions in retooling, restructuring and retraining their staff to accommodate the EV influx.
Most of the EV’s shoved onto the dealer lots sit idle without customers to purchase them.
Businessman Len Blavatnik and his family foundation have paused their millions of dollars in funding to the Ivy League as it stands behind President Claudine Gay despite accusations she stood by as students spewed antisemitic rhetoric on campus, according to a report.
The Harvard Business School alumnus will halt his funding until the university directly addresses what he sees as rampant antisemitism at the school, a person with direct knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg.
California regulators on Tuesday cleared the way for widespread use of advanced filtration and treatment facilities designed to convert sewage waste into pure drinking water that can be pumped directly into systems feeding millions of household taps.
Proven technologies capable of recycling wastewater for human consumption, a concept once derided by critics as “toilet to tap,” have gained greater credence in recent years as water-conscious California faces worsening drought cycles from climate change.
More than a decade in the making, the regulations adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board represent a landmark in the quest to reclaim some of the hundreds of millions of gallons of waste discharge that flows out to sea unused each year, supporters say.
“Today heralds a new era of water reuse,” Patricia Sinicropi, executive director of the recycling trade group WateReuse California, said in a statement.
“The worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal.” — Aristotle
I have to deal with Scandinavians I’m related to by marriage. They believe in the concept of Janteloven and continually use it to trash the USA. Mostly they try to justify that their country is better. Fortunately, I can almost gauge what is the wrong thing by them telling me what they believe in and that is it. Their country is of course held up as the model of socialism by Bernie, the Squad and other idiots. That’s just more proof for me to intuitively know it is wrong.
I call BS on it because history says otherwise. Did the USA go to the moon because of equality or exceptionalism? How about helping the rest of the world with medicine, discoveries, advancements in technology and improving the quality of life around the world. What has Jante given the world other than stopping being conquering Vikings?
School board administrators in their mindless pursuit of “equity” have decided to eliminate honors English classes in a prestigious academic district where parents would be delighted to enroll their children: Santa Monica High School.
The sentiment behind the initiative was best summed up by Sarah Rodriguez, an English teacher at the high school. She, and others involved in the 1½ year pursuit of the initiative, wanted to be “fair” to all students, and not make anyone feel left out or marginalized.
“This is not about labeling students or labeling classes,” Rodriguez says. “What we’re doing is, we’re saying this is a new paradigm.” Her overview of this new paradigm — she insists — is about “all of our students (being) capable and we’re going to meet them where they are.”
It’s a beautiful sentiment, but lacking in reality of what’s going to happen to the bright and gifted students’ opportunities for advanced education. She failed to mention how the initiative would “meet” their needs in a dumbed-down curriculum.
Parents have made it clear to administrators that they view the “equity initiative” as another example of administrators being shortsighted, if not blinded, by the end results of their bad decisions. “A race to the bottom,” is now a popular term used by parents to describe this and other diversity programs contributing to the eroding academic standards in public schools.
“We really feel equity means offering opportunities to students of diverse backgrounds, not taking away opportunities for advanced education and study,” says parent Joanna Schaenman, who spearheads an effort to reinstate honors class at a school where her child attends in Culver City.
The one-size (academic curriculum) fits all students, Schaenman says, is not beneficial for the students who are willing to work harder and achieve higher academic outcomes.
This parental push back is popping up at school board meetings at different high schools operating in one of the nation’s most “progressive” regions: Los Angeles Unified School District.
“I have a child in high school,” one mother told the school board in Culver City. “It is too easy in his classroom” since the elimination of the honors classes. “They (administrators) say it’s equity, they say that’s the reason and therefore it’s okay,” she added. It is far for “okay,” she says, pointing out her son is “no longer challenged in class.”
This complaint is shared by many parents who are watching the decline of their children’s education. Now my son is “bored in class,” offers another parent.
Sensitivities expressed by the administrators in the interest of underperforming students does not appear to extend to parents of the more accomplished students. Parents objecting to the “dumbed-down” curriculum have been subject to slurs and insults by faculty and administrators: “Racist” is a common fallback term used by administrators to label parents objecting to the “equity initiatives.” At one school board meeting in another district, Asian parents were met with a sign that read: “Leave your Asian privilege at the door.”
It is now becoming harder to tag the parents as racists.
Many of the upset parents are immigrants themselves who appear as dark as the students who are underrepresented in the honors classes, primarily including Hispanic and black children.
Pedro Frigola, who is from Cuba, has two daughters attending Culver City High School. He claims the school is “performing a disservice to the students and community” with the elimination of advanced instruction.
He pointed out in a Fox television interview that the administration put forth the claim that the initiative is hatched in the name of “equity,” but “it’s not defined,” The parent stresses the necessity to provide equal opportunity for all students, but not remove opportunities for students who are excelling in their studies.
“Achieving equal outcomes at all costs,” says Frigola, is an ideology that results in holding many children back, That’s not the only drawback. Students now cannot list “advanced placement” (AP classes) on their applications when applying to Ivy League colleges, placing them at a distinct disadvantage.
This reality isn’t getting in the way of administrators championing their cause. They claim that teachers — who work with students day in and day out — are completely supportive of this “equity initiative.” That has not been Mr. Frigola’s experience when he has discussed the issue with teachers at his daughters’ high school. He reports they have expressed their concerns about the detrimental effects this initiative will have on the high-achieving students. “Of course they’re afraid to speak out because they don’t want to be reprimanded,” he says. “They have their careers to worry about.”
Mr. Frigola, who had grown up in Cuba, thought he had left behind the communist culture of censorship and fear of expressing a dissenting voice, but he was wrong.
In the meantime, embattled faculty and teachers have become more firmly entrenched in espousing their ideology. Rhetoric is becoming more harsh, with administrators now claiming advanced English classes were “perpetuating inequality.” They tend to rely on statistical data verifying black and Hispanic students are underrepresented in the honors classes. Of course, Asian students — who score consistently higher — remain overrepresented in percentages enrolled in advanced courses vs. make-up of population.
Less accomplished students appear to be picking up the messages of victimhood from the faculty. One student described his feeling as “unable to break out of the mold” and another as feeling inferior “because of the segregation” of honors from regular English classes.
“Whatever happened to the concept of working hard and earning a place in an AP class,” one parent commented on social media. “Are we teaching these children to whine rather than work hard?’
It is fair to wonder whether today’s educators are failing to prepare students for their matriculation into the real world. Students who were coddled and protected — from revamping curriculum for “equal outcomes” to handing out “participation awards” for non-athletic winners — will be sorely disappointed when they enter a merit-based system and find themselves at the end of the line for a salary increase or promotion up the corporate ladder.
I lost the link to this story, if anyone has it I’ll give it retribution.
It will be difficult for these logic defying people to get any worse, but let’s look at it.
It begins……
People need to realize the Left is using the alleged “existential” threat of global warming to wage war against liberty, against the Western world’s (not China’s) economy, and against joy.
The automobile, that magnificent enhancement to human freedom and joy, is a target of the Left.
The idea that individuals should be able to go where they want when they want in their own car is anathema to the Left. It provides way too much individual liberty.
And this…….
Even the family, one of life’s greatest sources of joy and meaning, is a target of the climate change activists.
They believe that there are way too many people in the world. Kids are carbon-emitting machines. So, an increasing number of women, including married women, are choosing not to have children.
And now the coup de gras….
Now, we have another joy of life that progressives are targeting in the name of combating global warming: Christmas gifts.
Many progressives have long opposed giving Christmas gifts in the name of combating “consumerism.” (To be fair, some religious conservatives share that ascetic view.) But climate change will soon constitute the greater moral reason.
A trans-identified male has appeared in court after being accused of dumping soiled adult diapers outside a children’s nursery and stealing clinical waste bags. Abbi Taylor, born Martin Tarling, was also accused of hiding in a public bin with soiled diapers, smearing excrement on children’s milk bottles and removing items from a waste receptacle outside a nursery.
From mass digital ID verification to the purge of right-leaning media, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt has the answer on how the left can best defeat its critics ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
Schmidt — the former tech executive turned billionaire Democratic operative — authored a Dec. 16 op-ed for theMIT Technology Review advising Democrats how to fight purported AI-generated misinformation “before it’s too late.” Citing Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and the Republican National Committee’s use of artificial intelligence, Schmidt begged lawmakers and Big Tech to unleash draconian measures that, if implemented, could mark the beginning of a leftist dystopian society.
Among his proposed measures include 1) verifying human users on social media, 2) tracking IP addresses, 3) watermarking AI-generated content, 4) banning advertisers that do not comply with rules, 5) using humans to “fend off an avalanche” of AI-generated content and 6) investing in research. Schmidt noted the confusion AI can cause, noting a need to “brace ourselves for more chaos as key votes unfold across the world in 2024.” He decried the use of AI-generated content to attack scandal-ridden President Joe Biden.
I met Schmidt when I was in the tech industry and what he told me then makes me believe this is all very true. He said Google was Evil and did a lot of stuff they don’t want you knowing. He said he was very far left and would do what he could to make the world that way
Harvard president Claudine Gay has been embroiled in controversy for minimizing Hamas terrorism and plagiarizing material in her academic work on race. Both scandals have discredited her presidency, but neither should come as a surprise. Throughout Gay’s career at Harvard—as professor, dean, and president—racialist ideology has driven her scholarship, administrative priorities, and rise through the institution.Over the course of her career, Gay quietly built a “diversity” empire that influenced every facet of university life. Between 2018 and the summer of 2023, as the dean of the largest faculty on campus, Gay oversaw the university’s racially discriminatory admissions program, which the Supreme Court found unconstitutional. Even after the court issued its ruling earlier this year, Gay said that it was a “hard day” and defended the university’s policies, which were deemed discriminatory against Asian and white applicants. Gay promised to comply with the letter of the law, while remaining “steadfast” in her commitment to producing “diversity”—a not-so-subtle message that Harvard would find a way, as the University of California has done, to evade the law in practice.
As president, Gay leads a sprawling DEI bureaucracy—officially, the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging—that seeks to influence how students speak, think, and behave in relation to race. Though the university deleted nearly all DEI materials from its website following President Gay’s disastrous congressional testimony related to the Hamas terror attack, I have recovered some of these documents through an Internet archive. Harvard’s DEI administrators encourage students to internalize the basic narrative of critical race theory: America is a nation defined by “systemic racism,” “police brutality,” “white supremacist violence,” and the “weaponization of whiteness.” In another resource, students were invited to “unpack” their “white privilege” and “male privilege,” and to consider their “white fragility,” which stems from “the privilege that accrues to white people living in a society that protects and insulates them from race-based stress.”
The pedophiles have been trying to hide this forever. A few escapee’s like Prince Andrew have been thrown under the bus, but he has a monarchy protecting him.
That’s not going to be the same for politicians and businessmen if they get caught. They must be quaking in their boots right now. Actions have consequences and they are about to have to pay the piper.
Watch the machinations to stop their names from being exposed. Those are the guilty ones.
Oh, and like Christmas decorations, Epstein didn’t hang himself
A New York federal judge has ordered for the release of documents that will reportedly name Jeffrey Epstein’s clients and associates in early 2024.
The records are a part of a settled civil case in which it is claimed that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s incarcerated former partner, facilitated the sexual abuse of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre.
However, the 2017 settlement’s terms were kept anonymous.
Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 for sex trafficking minors and obtaining underage girls for Epstein, who committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
In addition to girls, there have also been allegations that Maxwell and Epstein had also acquired underage boys, however, the specifics of those claims do not at this time indicate any proof, since none have since come forward to law enforcement or the media.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
The release is scheduled for January 1st thanks to the efforts of Judge Loretta Preska. However, she forewarned that many names would still not be disclosed.
Epstein’s accomplices and possibly “innocent” colleagues may have their names made public if they had not successfully fought to keep them out of the civil action.
More than 150 people are anticipated to be identified in hundreds of documents that will reveal additional information about Epstein’s sex trafficking of minors in a number of U.S. cities and countries.
Prosecutors say that between 1994 and 2004, Maxwell and Epstein collaborated to locate minors, “groom” them, and then lure them to travel to Epstein’s properties in New York, Florida, and New Mexico, among other locations.
Some underage victims who spoke to reporters and law enforcement asserted that they were directed to give “massages” and perform other tasks, which then eventually led to being sexually assaulted.
In an effort to somehow try and take Trump out of the 2024 election, the Colorado Supreme Court just made him far more popular. Even Biden’s advisors should have him make a statement to stop this as the people are going to turn out for the Donald even more.
These people think they are all bold by trying to not allow him to run, but he’ll be on the ballot and even more electable. If by chance they succeed, watch both his write in vote in Colorado and the vote in all the other states skyrocket.
Even if you don’t like him, people know this is just get even-ism and childish behavior. If they can pull it on him, they can screw the general public even more. No one wants that.
—
The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump cannot appear on the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot “because he engaged in an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.”
“A majority of the court holds that President Trump is disqualified from holding the office of President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” wrote the court. “Because he is disqualified, it would be a wrongful act under the Election Code for the Colorado Secretary of State to list him as a candidate on the presidential primary ballot.”
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
The Colorado Supreme Court just happened to remind people that justices don’t have to be Originalists. After all, if you stick with the plain language in the Constitution you cannot bend it to your will and agenda (I took out the notations):
If the language is clear and unambiguous, then we enforce it as written, and we need not turn to other tools of construction. However, if the provision’s language is reasonably susceptible of multiple interpretations, then it is ambiguous, and we may consider “the textual, structural, and historical evidence put forward by the parties,” and we will construe the provision “in light of the objective sought to be achieved and the mischief to be avoided.”
Section 3 is not ambiguous. Like 99% of the rest of the Constitution it is crystal clear: You cannot hold office if you engaged in an insurrection or rebellion.
Let’s look at the word engaged. Merriam-Webster has six definitions of engaged. The two that best matches the word in section three are “involved in activity” and “involved especially in a hostile encounter.”
I look at the thesaurus to get a deeper understanding of a word.
I’m sure there are plenty more. It’s getting harder for the media to keep the lid on it.
Here goes with a link below to the entire story.
After Joe Biden was elected to the White House, Democrat pundits hailed the return of “adults in charge” in Washington.
However, since his election, there has been no shortage of scandals exposing Democrat degeneracy and perversion — including in the halls of power in D.C. and in the White House.
Here are the top most recent Democrat scandals under Joe Biden’s presidency:
1. Democrat Staffer Having Sex in the Senate
A graphic video emerged on December 15 of a Democrat staffer for Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) having anal sex with someone in a United States Senate hearing room in the U.S. Capitol, which is government property and American taxpayer funded. The video showed the staffer naked and on all fours on a table where senators conduct their business. He has since been fired.
2. Porn Web Cam Democrat Virginia Senate Candidate Susanna Gibson
In September, the Washington Post revealed that Susanna Gibson, a Democrat candidate for a Virginia Senate seat and a nurse practitioner, had performed sex acts with her husband for a live online audience on a website called Chaturbate and encouraged viewers to request sex acts and pay them with tips. Some of the videos archived online were as recent as September 30, 2022. Gibson lost her race by fewer than 1,000 votes.
3. Baggy of Cocaine Found in the White House
In July, a baggy of cocaine was found inside the White House West Wing by a Secret Service agent. The Secret Service later claimed there was “insufficient DNA” present and that they could not identify the owner of the baggy. Fox News’s Jesse Watters later claimed documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request showed there were three vials of DNA from the investigation.
4. Trans Influencer Rose Montoya Flashes Breasts at White House Picnic
Just a month before Cocaine-Gate, a trans influencer at a Pride event at the White House flashed his fake breasts at a White House event that also hosted children. The trans influencer, Rose Montoya, pulled down his dress and grabbed his fake breasts, according to a video that was widely circulated on social media. The White House was forced to condemn the act and ban Montoya from visiting the White House again.
5. Navy Enlists Drag Queen Influencer to Recruit More Sailors
In May, the Navy revealed that it recruited a “drag queen influencer” as part of a pilot program to help recruit more people. The influencer, who is an active duty sailor named Joshua Kelley, goes by the name “Harpy Daniels” and had performed for other service members during deployments on ships.
6. Democrat Mayor Arrested on Child-Porn Related Charges
In March the former Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, was arrested on dozens of charges of possessing and distributing child porn. The former mayor — reportedly a mentee of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg — has been photographed with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and other high-profile Democrats. He resigned prior to his arrest. He was sentenced to 30 years in jail last month.
The now-former mayor of College Park, Maryland, Patrick Wojahn, was arrested on 56 child pornography possession and distribution charges. (Prince George’s County Police Department)
7. Non-Binary Biden Senior Official and BDSM-Practitioner Caught Stealing Luggage
Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY), right, and Sam Brinton, speaking, are seen during a news conference outside the Capitol on Thursday, June 13, 2019. (Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call)
8. Army Colonel Exposed in Pup-Play
In December 2022, it was exposed that an Army colonel had taken photos of himself in uniform in a dog mask, including in what appeared to be an official Army photo. An account called @Nova_Campaigns exposed the colonel, who had since retired. The retired colonel had numerous photos of himself in a dog mask and uniform, posing with junior service members. The Army said it was investigating the photos, but the outcome of that investigation is not known.
9. Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo Faced Allegations of Sexual Misconduct
In 2021, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo faced allegations of sexual harassment, including that he groped former female staffers. Cuomo resigned over the allegations. Investigators said he “subjected women to unwanted kisses; groped their breasts or buttocks or otherwise touched them inappropriately; made insinuating remarks about their looks and their sex lives; and created a work environment ‘rife with fear and intimidation.’”
There is also no shortage of Democrat sex scandals predating the Biden administration.
In December 2020, Axios revealed that an alleged Chinese Communist Party spy named Fang Fang had targeted Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) — getting so close that she was able to place interns in his office. Swalwell has never addressed allegations that his relationship with the alleged Chinese spy was sexual.
In March 2020, former Democrat Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillum was found inebriated in a Miami Beach hotel room with a man who had overdosed. Police found three bags of drugs suspected to be crystal meth. Photos of Gillum later emerged, showing Gillum lying in his own vomit on the floor. He later said he was bisexual.
In 2019, Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) was revealed to have been engaging in a “throuple” with her then-husband and a former female staffer. Numerous photos of Hill emerged, including one of her nude and brushing her former staffer’s hair. Hill resigned amid the controversy.
Other famous Democrats embroiled in scandal include former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who was busted for sending women sexually suggestive photos of himself in underwear, and embattled Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who has faced allegations of not paying prostitutes and patronizing underage prostitutes.
New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in 2008 after it was revealed that he had patronized a prostitution ring, and former President Bill Clinton was impeached after his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky was revealed in 1998 after Clinton was sued by Paula Jones, a former Arkansas state employee, in 1997.
We have been warning for years about the pernicious and corrosive impact of the racialization of education under the umbrellas of Critical Race Theory and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
We told our readers and anyone who would listen that these ideologies set students against each other, against their parents, against their own country, and against Israel and Jews.
On October 7, and 8, and 9, and beyond, the putrid hate generated by these ideologies spewed forth on campuses, shocking the nation. Our readers were not shocked.
I wish we had been wrong. But we were right.
We didn’t just warn. We documented more deeply than anyone else. With facts and data. It’s what Legal Insurrection blog (which just had its 15th Anniversary) and our Legal Insurrection Foundation (approaching its 5th Anniversary) do better than anyone.
It’s been almost three years since we launched CriticalRace.org, a project of the Legal Insurrection Foundation, with interactive maps now covering over 700 schools, from higher ed, to elite K-12, to medical schools, to veterinary schools, to business schools, to the military service academies. It’s all documented, with source links and archived links for every single piece of data.
Edelson PC, a major national law firm representing plaintiffs, said it will no longer participate in on-campus recruiting events at Harvard Law School, citing how the university president refused to condemn calls for the genocide of Jews before Congress.
“Regrettably, I must address a recent incident that has deeply concerned us. We, along with the rest of the nation, observed Dr. Claudine Gay’s testimony before Congress, wherein she refused to unequivocally state that advocating for genocide would breach the school’s code of conduct,” the law firm’s founder, Jay Edelson, wrote in a letter last week to Harvard Law’s recruitment office.
Edelson acknowledged that Gay apologized days after the hearing following her statements that calling for the genocide of Jews depended “on the context” as to whether it violated Harvard’s rules against bullying and harassment.
“Despite her belated apology, the gravity of her initial response cannot be overlooked. As an expert in political and social studies, Dr. Gay certainly knew to expect the types of questions that would be asked of her,” Edelson wrote in his letter.
Harvard students are in activist uniform, displaying the identical slogan on the machine that sits in front of their faces. Elite students at a top university, alleged to be the best of the best, are carefully identical in their virtue signaling. Uniformity is merit. To be the best is to be the same. As you rise, you converge and narrow. I mean, you don’t have to wear a kaffiyeh — you can always just go to state college. They have a lot of people like you in places like that.
Imagine the costs of this cultural cancer.
This uniformity is not an accident. Young people are being trained to behave like this. College counselors and the small army of “Ivy consultants” tell upper-middle-class teenagers to design their high school years around the story they’re going to tell on their college applications. The top schools are looking for X classes and interests, not Y classes and interests, so stop being interested in Y and focus on X. No, that’s not the kind of volunteer experience that the top schools want to see. No, that’s the wrong hobby, the wrong sport, the wrong summer. Credentialing is an industry, and young people are being taught to perform their lives within the expected lines. “The Ivies want to see your passion for social justice.” So be sure to show that.
This morning, Pfizer disappointed investors by saying it expects sales of its mRNA Covid jab to plunge again in 2024. Annual sales of Pfizer’s shot and anti-Covid drug Paxlovid will fall 35 percent next year – on the heels of an 80 percent collapse this year.
The announcement is an embarrassment for Pfizer executives, marking the third time in only three months they have had to rachet down expectations for Covid sales.
Investors expect public companies to be able to predict their sales at least six months to a year in advance. But collapsing mRNA demand keeps catching Pfizer off-guard.
Kelce’s “two things at once” spot encourages people to take both flu and Covid jabs at the same doctor’s visit – unsubtly linking the mRNAs with old-style inactivated virus flu shots, which have far fewer side effects.
But would-be recipients have not been fooled. While mRNA demand has collapsed, demand for flu shots remains solid (despite strong evidence of their uselessness).
Only two years ago, the mRNAs were among the world’s most desirable products, and hipsters proudly branded themselves “Team Pfizer” or “Team Moderna.”
In recent years, every COP had been dominated by an angry motion from the radicals, which was ultimately defeated in the final hours. Ironically these noisy motions tend actually to inhibit progress on the big green agenda, so I welcome them.
COP 28 was no different. The basic idea was to finally mention fossil fuels in the final statement after 27 COPS did not so. Makes sense, given that burning fossil fuels are the supposed reason for the climate alarm.
Seemed simple enough, but the radicals had to go full bore on it. They demanded an agreement to actually phase out fossil fuels. Out in the sense of none. No oil, no gas, no coal, nothing.
To see how radical this phase-out stuff really is, note that the alarmist abomination called net zero does not do this. The net in net zero specifically allows for future fossil fuel emissions, provided these are offset in some way. Moreover, it allows for unlimited fossil fuel use if carbon capture can ever be made to work. Net zero is about emissions, not fuel.
Moreover, a lot of fossil fuels are used as petrochemical feedstock, which does not create CO2 emissions. As my colleague Ron Stein strenuously points out, petrochemical products are fundamental to our way of life. Phasing out fossil fuels would mean ending petrochemicals.
A lot of countries objected to this radical phase-out insistence. Some were oil and gas producers, and the radical press focused on them. But a bunch of others were countries that rightly saw fossil fuel as powering economic improvement. This humanitarian side of the argument seldom got reported.
There was an exquisite moment in the middle of all this mindless ho-ha. The moderate President of COP 28 had said there was no science supporting the need to obliterate fossil fuel use. The radicals were outraged and said so.
IBM has been exposed and sued for discrimination. Against who? If you are a white male, you are a target there to be eliminated. It’s another woke example of corporate hate.
When I worked in the IBM PR group, the exposure to the major media ranked as high or higher than products. I bet they are scrambling right now to put a lid on this lawsuit showing how bad their hiring and firing policies really are.
This is the worst situation you could be in if you were a corporate PR person. You can say what you want, but if you listen to the leaked video below, there is no mistake that men and whites are being discriminated against.
We filed a federal civil rights complaint against @IBM for racially discriminating against white and Asian Americans and promising to fire, demote, or deny bonuses to corporate executives who fail to meet their illegal race and sex-based hiring quotas.
/2 Yesterday, @JamesOKeefeIII released a recording of IBM Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman Arvind Krishna.
In the video, Krishna promises to fire, demote, or deny bonuses to corporate executives who either fail to meet the corporation’s racial, national origin, and sex-based hiring quotas, or who hire too many Asian individuals.
/3 Also, Paul Cormier, the chairman of IBM subsidiary Red Hat, admits that Red Hat terminated employees who failed to meet or comply with the corporation’s unlawful racial, national origin, and sex-based quotas.
/4 The evidence strongly suggests IBM’s management has created a culture of systemic racism.
IBM’s 2022 ESG Report includes information about IBM’s “Annual Incentive Program,” which vows to “continue to include a diversity modifier” to “close the gap in executive representation in these key areas.”
/5 …This language is simply code for racial discrimination to reach illegal quotas in the workforce.
/6 IBM does so by providing executives additional compensation if they reach their targets.
/10 Notably, IBM’s “diversity” webpage excludes a tab for White or male employees.
America First Legal took to X, where they shared details about their groundbreaking lawsuit:

It’s going to be nights and weekends, and hell for the PR department for months trying to quash and/or dissemble this story. The usual week off between Christmas and New Years is going to be extra hours this year.
I would hate to be back there having to deal with this as they’ve been expose for the discrimination polices they have in place.
I left because IBM sucked to work for at the end. I could feel this coming, but it’s gotten full bore since Ginni Rometty took over. Krishna just put the pedal down since the Red Hat acquisition.
He hates the United States and has attacked Jews since WWII, despite being Jewish. If there ever were someone you describe as evil, it’s him. He’s in there with Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and others who were history’s worst.
Far-left billionaire kingmaker George Soros has funneled more than $15 million since 2016 to groups behind this month’s pro-Palestine protests, where demonstrators openly cheered Hamas militants’ craven terrorist attacks on Israel.
A Post examination of Open Society Foundations records shows Soros’ grant-making network gave $13.7 million of the money through Tides Center, a deep-pocketed lefty advocacy group that sponsors several nonprofits who’ve justified Hamas’ bloody attacks while claiming Palestinians obsessed with the eradication of the Jewish state are the real victims.
Tides’ beneficiaries include Illinois-based Adalah Justice Project, which on the day of the Oct. 7 massacre posted a photo on Instagram of a bulldozer tearing part of Israel’s border fence down and a caption: “Israeli colonizers believed they could indefinitely trap two million people in an open-air prison… no cage goes unchallenged.”

Well, what did you expect? She has been a pretender and feels entitled to a lot of things she wasn’t qualified for. She did it for the money and notoriety because she sure as hell didn’t do it for the students.
The kids saw through her facade and responded accordingly. She treated them like shit, just like she does everyone. At least none of her students committed “suicide”.

Columbia students call Hillary Clinton class huge disappointment
Hillary Clinton’s fall class at Columbia University felt more like being in a “late-night talk show” audience than a college course, one of many complaints from underwhelmed students, according to a Huffington Post op-ed published Sunday.
Clinton did not read students’ assignments, attend discussion sessions, or hold office hours, and students complained that their questions about controversial topics were avoided, according to the piece.
The column by student Cate Twining-Ward was headlined: “I Thought Taking A Class Taught By Hillary Clinton Would Be Empowering. I Was Wrong.” Twining-Ward expressed her disappointment about the class and interviewed a few of her peers, one of whom said, “I could have learned everything just from reading her memoir.”
The class, “Inside the Situation Room,” taught by Clinton and international relations Professor Keren Yarhi-Milo, focused on “how to analyze and understand the complex interplay between individual psychology, domestic politics, public opinion, bureaucracy, the international environment, and other factors which feed into decisions about foreign policy,” according to the course description.
But Twining-Ward said it “wasn’t really a class — it was a production.”
A filming crew recorded every class, and their equipment tear-down cut half an hour from every session, she wrote.
“Together in class and on tape, we acted much like an audience at a late-night talk show, distracted by the cameras and yet immersed in the vanity of the production,” Twining-Ward wrote. “We followed an unspoken script where we were both active and passive at once — expected to laugh at certain anecdotes, but not encouraged to raise our hands.”
So they are willing to kill blacks or cause them lung damage to get more votes in election year. They must be desperate.
The Biden administration has once again delayed banning menthol cigarettes, infuriating officials ofpublic health groups who say the products are responsible for taking hundreds of thousands of American lives.
On Wednesday, the White House quietly updated its Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs website to reflect that any final ban on menthol wouldn’t take place until at least March. Even then, it’s expected to take years for menthol products to be off store shelves. The ban was previously supposed to take effect by the end of December.
Disney actress Rachel Zegler, a vocal left-wing activist, is singing a different tune about the 1937 animated film “Snow White” amid backlash over her past feminist complaints about the Disney classic — and after The Daily Wire announced it is producing its own take on the timeless fairy tale.
During an interview for Variety with fellow Disney actress Halle Bailey, Zegler gushed over the original “Snow White” as “a monumental moment in film history.”
“The cartoon is so beloved — it’s like a monumental moment in film history. It’s the first feature-length cartoon movie, to the point where it won honorary Oscars, and all these amazing things that happened for that film are the reason that you and I get to sit here today, because it made Disney what it is,” Zegler told Bailey, who starred as Ariel in the live-action version of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
The actress went on to veer away from her past comment, saying she “loves everything the Disney company has put out” since its inception.
Disney has ruined every movie for the last few years with either feminist, woke or diversity. I guess investors are finally tired of losing billions. Walt would be turning over in his grave if he knew what Kathleen Kennedy had done to Star Wars, Marvel and classic remakes.
Greens erupt as fossil fuel ‘phaseout’ is dropped from proposed climate deal
“COP28 is now on the verge of complete failure,” former U.S. Vice President Al Gore said. But organizers of the summit in Dubai urged nations to be flexible and compromise.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The prospect of a deal to end fossil fuels faded on Monday in the oil-rich United Arab Emirates, when organizers of the U.N. climate summit released a draft proposal that merely suggested reducing them instead.
That outcome would fall far short of the demands that environmental groups, the U.S., the European Union and vulnerable island nations had laid out before the COP28 summit in Dubai, with some activists saying the talks would be a failure if they did not call for phasing out the production of coal, oil and natural gas.
The draft “really doesn’t meet the expectations of this COP in terms of the urgently needed transition to clean sources of energy and the phaseout of fossil fuels,” U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said during a fractious, closed-door meeting late Monday night and early Tuesday, which POLITICO listened to via an unsanctioned feed.
An internal video that was leaked shows how IBM violates the Civil Rights act and Title 9 for hiring and discrimination.
BREAKING LEAKED VIDEO: CEO of IBM @ArvindKrishna admits to using coercion to fire people and take away their bonuses unless they discriminate in the hiring process.
“You got to move both forward by a percentage that leads to a plus on your bonus," Krishna said about hiring… pic.twitter.com/UUK26HX8IP
They did that 10 years ago when I was there. I worked tangentially with the CEO in the video and all I can say is he is better than Gini Rometty. She managed to lose half the value of the company while promoting girl cattiness.
It sucked to work there then, and any friends I have left there say it got exponentially worse as a working environment.
It’s too bad as there were some times there that we did some of the best work in the industry. Everyone wanted to work hard and work together. It was a system of meritocracy that promoted quality work and talent without regard to skin color. I also saw times that I saw the back biting and people decided not to help each other because they spent most of their time trying not to get fired.
The woke crap was already starting with the LGBTQWXYZ push, as they played favorites with them also.
IBM is cutting their own throats. It’s unity, not diversity that makes for greatness.
The president had to resign after playing the fool in front of Congress and the world. I’m sure the people who said these things don’t know why they hate the Jews. They are taught to hate for hates sake at these Universities. They are indoctrination centers, not institutions of learning.
Next up, Harvard and MIT. They failed the antisemitism test along with UPenn last week.
In an interview after the testimony, Professor Jacobson stated that “the three Presidents were, frankly, fairly pathetic.” From his post:
BIG TAKEAWAY –
THESE THREE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENTS ARE VERY UNIMPRESSIVE PEOPLE.
You might not want to be too quick to shed a tear over former President Liz Magill’s plight, however, since she is still a fully tenured professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School:
The “Preliminary Statement” in the NYU lawsuit detailed the disgusting antisemitism rampant allegedly present at NYU as follows:
The age-old virus of antisemitism is alive and well at New York University. This case arises from NYU’s egregious civil rights violations that have created a hostile educational environment in which plaintiffs and other Jewish NYU students have been subjected to pervasive acts of hatred, discrimination, harassment, and intimidation. For years, NYU—acutely aware of ongoing and disgraceful acts of anti-Jewish bigotry—has reacted with, at best, deliberate indifference, refusing to enforce its own anti-discrimination and conduct policies that it readily applies to protect other targets of bigotry, and instead fostering an environment in which students and faculty members are permitted to repeatedly abuse, malign, vilify, and threaten Jewish students with impunity. Regularly confronted with such genocidal chants as, “Hitler was right,” “gas the Jews,” “death to kikes,” and “from the river to the sea,” and other abuse, plaintiffs not only have been deprived of the ability and opportunity to fully and meaningfully participate in NYU’s educational and other programs, but they have suffered and have been put at severe risk of extreme emotional and physical injury.
Would 92% of American adults have gotten a Covid shot had they known the “vaccines” only offered a 0.85% reduction in risk? Would young men have taken the jab if they had known it did not prevent transmission?
Americans came to understand that the media campaigns supporting the shots were fraudulent. The touted benefits – preventing infection and transmission – were lies. In response, fewer than one in five Americans elected to receive “boosters” despite multi-billion dollar propaganda campaigns.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has now brought a suit to bring accountability for the fraud that resulted in record profits for the pharmaceutical industry. Last week, he filed a complaint alleging that Pfizer misrepresented Covid vaccine efficacy and “conspired to censor public discourse” in violation of Texas’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).
Paxton alleges that the $75 billion Pfizer has raked in through sales of Covid vaccines were the “direct and proximate result” of the company’s deceit.
The DTPA requires Paxton prove two questions to succeed in his case. First, he must establish that the company lied or failed to disclose known information concerning its Covid vaccine. Second, he must prove that the company’s fraud was designed to promote sales of the shots.
In an October 2023 lecture, David E. Martin, Ph.D., detailed how we can know that SARS-CoV-2 is a manmade bioweapon that has been in the works for 58 years
The virus called “coronavirus” was first described in 1965. Two years later, the U.S. and U.K. launched an exchange program where healthy British military personnel were infected with coronavirus pathogens from the U.S. as part of the U.S. biological weapons program
In 1992, Ralph Baric at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, took a pathogen that used to infect the gut and lungs and altered it with a chimera to make it infect the heart, causing cardiomyopathy. This research was part of the efforts to produce an HIV vaccine
In November 2000, Pfizer patented its first spike protein vaccine. Between 2000 and 2019, vaccine trials using this technology proved it was lethal, yet in the summer of 2020, the clinical trials for the SARS-CoV-2 shots went straight into human trials
mRNA spike protein was publicly described as a bioweapon 18 years ago. In 2005, at a conference hosted by DARPA and The Mitre Corporation, the mRNA spike protein was hailed as a “biological warfare-enabling technology,” i.e., a biological warfare agent
(Mercola)—The video above features a lecture David E. Martin,1 Ph.D., gave in Dornach, Switzerland, in late October 2023. Martin is a national intelligence analyst and founder of IQ100 Index, which developed linguistic genomics, a platform capable of determining the intent of communications.
This technology has allowed Martin to scan and review millions of patents, resulting in a paper trail2,3 that conclusively proves SARS-CoV-2 is a man made bioweapon that has been in the works for 58 years.
Unambiguous Admission of a Premeditated Plandemic
As he is now in the habit of doing, Martin opens his lecture with a quote by Peter Daszak, president of EcoHealth Alliance. During a March 27, 2015, forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Catastrophic Events, Daszak noted4 that unless an infectious disease crisis is at an emergency threshold, it tends to be ignored.
“To sustain the funding base beyond the crisis, we need to increase public understanding of the need for MCMs (medical countermeasures) such as a pan-influenza or pan-coronavirus vaccine,” Daszak said, adding:5
“A key driver is the media, and the economics follow the hype. We need to use that hype to our advantage to get to the real issues. Investors will respond if they see profit at the end of the process.”
Electric vehicles are not nearly as popular as their advocates would have had us believe, as sales are now slumping in the face of rising interest rates and a lack of so-called fast chargers. As we begin to bump up against mined mineral constraints and international relations complications, there’s no doubt the cost of making these glorified toys will continue to rise. A recent Consumer Reports publication shows that, over the last 3 model years, electric vehicles are less reliable than normal gasoline and diesel vehicles. So, several states want to ban the sale of reliable, inexpensive gas and diesel cars and force us to buy less reliable electric cars. Note well that the superior reliability of hybrids is likely down to the fact that car makers who are better known for their reliability make more hybrids. There’s nothing inherent to a hybrid that would make it more reliable than a gasoline engine vehicle.
Even our ability to travel using air travel is under the gun. A CNN op-ed recently floated the idea of limiting air travel through the use of carbon (read: sin) passports. We will be limited to traveling based on the amount of carbon dioxide emitted during the flight. The author wants this applied to cruise ships as well. It’s not hard to see this applied to your car as well. Of course, such rules will not apply to the super-wealthy climate grifters. They’ll be jetting all over the globe for their very important climate conferences.
And it’s not just transportation. In September, Reuters “fact checked” a claim that US cities had agreed to limit meat consumption, finding the claim false. And yet, we are told on a nearly daily basis that eliminating beef consumption is necessary to save the planet. The sin of using coal (but not apparently to create steel) has become the sin of eating a steak. What’s next? Rice? Pork?
Beginning in 2024, the German government will empower local electricity providers to limit the flow of electricity to heat pumps and electric cars. Such limits were the stuff of alleged conspiracy theories mere months ago. Now they’re a reality. Germany’s suicidal attempt to power their grid with nothing but wind and solar, killing off their own nuclear power generation over the last 20 years, has led to energy rationing. It’s not as if this is unpredictable. The unreliability of so-called renewables is common knowledge among energy experts.
It’s sensible for those who are concerned about their ability to choose where and when they travel, what they eat, and when they turn on their heaters and air conditioners to be skeptical of every single attempt to accrue more power by state and federal governments. That skepticism should turn into activism against these power grabs. Anyone who tells you these power grabs aren’t coming is telling you not to believe your own eyes.
“There are some who have confused a right to free expression with the idea that Harvard will condone calls for violence against Jewish students,” Gay said in the statement posted on X. “Let me be clear: Calls for violence or genocide against the Jewish community, or any religious or ethnic group are vile, they have no place at Harvard, and those who threaten our Jewish students will be held to account.”
Users on X quickly tore into Gay and the university.
“As a Harvard alum, I say this with all due respect: F*@k Harvard!” Newsweek columnist Caroline Glick posted in response to the statement.
“Change your name to Hamas University and be done with it,” talk show host Dave Rubin said in a post.
Change your name to Hamas University and be done with it.
Diversity hire as Harvard President shows how bad it really is.
Harvard President Claudine Gay refused to answer my question about whether @Harvard received $1.5 BILLION in funding from foreign entities and governments for its Middle East Studies Department.
Once again proving that this is a money laundering hoax.
The fact that these global-warming alarmists are surrounded by Earth’s deepest pools of fossil fuels makes their Hajj infinitely ironic.
Also astonishing is the nearly immeasurable impact of these people’s gyrations. They blow trillions of dollars, bludgeon human freedom, and yet do shockingly little to fix their vaunted “climate crisis.” One practically needs an electron microscope to find their promised reductions in allegedly venomous carbon dioxide or supposedly lethal temperatures.
According to #ActInTime’s Climate Clock high above Manhattan’s Union Square, humans have—at this writing—five years and 228 days until we boil to death in a cauldron of steaming carbon.
Since The End is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2029 (mark your calendars!), Big Government liberals offer jaw-droppingly paltry climate benefits, despite their spine-chilling predictions and unbridled interventionism.
Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s proposed Clean Power Plan was a diamond-encrusted specimen of do-nothingism. According to a May 2015 analysis by their own Energy Information Agency, between 2015 and 2025, the Clean Power Plan would have slashed real gross domestic product by $993 billion, or an average of $39.7 billion per year. It would have sliced real disposable income by $382 billion, or $15.3 billion annually. It also would have chopped manufacturing shipments by $1.13 trillion, or $45.4 billion per year.
The Energy Information Agency forecast a decrease of 0.035 degrees Fahrenheit. This would have cranked a thermometer from 72 degrees Fahrenheit way down to 71.965 degrees.
The COP 28 climate confab opened today in Dubai. Some 70,000 true believers in the energy transition are said to be gathering. And not one of them appears to be either willing or able to do the simple arithmetic that shows that this can’t possibly work.
So far, no country that has made a commitment to “net zero” has officially backed off. (Argentina may soon become the first.). Things proceed as if all that is needed is to build sufficient wind and solar generation facilities, until eventually you have enough of them to meet demand. But that’s not how this works. The absurdity becomes more obvious every day. Can somebody please tell the poor people making fools of themselves in Dubai?
Let’s consider the latest from Germany. According to Statista here, Germany consumed 511.59 TWh of electricity in 2021 (latest year given, although the numbers have recently changed very little from year to year). Divide by 8760 (number of hours in a year) and you learn that Germany’s average usage of electricity is 58.3 GW. So, can you just build 58.3 GW of wind and solar generators to supply Germany with electricity?
Absolutely not. In fact, Germany already has way more wind and solar electricity generation capacity than the 58.3 GW, but can’t come anywhere near getting all its electricity from those sources. As of June 2023 Germany had 59.3 GW of generation capacity from wind turbines alone, and (as of end 2022) another 67.4 GW of generation capacity from solar panels. The total of the two is 126.7 GW — which would supply more than double Germany’s usage at noon on a sunny and breezy June 21. But, according to Clean Energy Wire here, through the first three quarters of 2023, the percent of its electricity that Germany got from wind and solar was only 52%. Capacity seemingly sufficient to supply double the usage in fact only supplies half. That’s because the supply does not come at the same time as the demand, and the wind/solar generation system provides no mechanism to shift the supply to a time to meet the demand.
And why doesn’t Germany just double the amount of its wind/solar generation, so that those sources would go from supplying 52% of usage to 100%. Because it doesn’t work that way. If they double the wind and solar generation, then on the sunny/breezy June 21 mid-day they will now have over 250 GW of electricity generation — more than 4 times what they need — so they will have to discard or give away the rest. But on a calm night in January, they will still have nothing and need full backup from some other source. Multiplying the wind/solar generation capacity by 10 or even 100 (referred to as “overbuilding”) will increase the costs of the system exponentially, but will never be enough to keep the lights on all the time. Or you can try energy storage to save up the surpluses to cover the deficits, but that also multiplies the costs of the system exponentially. For more than you will ever want to know about energy storage and its costs, read my December 2022 energy storage report, “The Energy Storage Conundrum.”
Failure theaters continue to play in Dubai during the United Nations Climate Conference of Parties (CoP28).
To begin with, getting to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was more challenging than normal for some participants…as Germany experienced a record-breaking level of snowfall for any December in recorded history.
The airport in Munich resumed limited operations Sunday morning after being closed for nearly a day because of record snowfall that disrupted transportation across the region.
About 17 inches of snow fell in parts of southern Germany on Saturday, an unusually large amount for early December, and what local news media reported was the biggest daily snowfall in Munich in December since records had been kept.
Then, he lets out the only gas that is dangerous while making specious claims.
In a desperate bid to remain relevant, former Vice President Al Gore slammed the UAE, saying its position as overseer of international negotiations on global warming this year was an abuse of public trust.
The comments, made to Reuters in an interview on the sidelines of the conference in Dubai, reflected skepticism among some delegates that COP28 President Sultan al-Jaber, head of the UAE’s national oil company ADNOC, can be an honest broker of a climate deal.
“They are abusing the public’s trust by naming the CEO of one of the largest and least responsible oil companies in the world as head of the COP,” Gore said.
But, the truth comes out anyway:
Kaboom at #COP28… conference president Sultan Al Jaber rejects climate hoax:
"I’m not in any way signing up to any discussion that is alarmist. There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve… pic.twitter.com/yhoJZFDytj
There is “no science” that says the world should phase out fossil fuels to curb global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, according to Sultan Al Jaber, the president of the COP28 climate summit, the Guardian and the Centre for Climate Reporting report.
“There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve 1.5C,” Al Jaber said in an online event last month, the remarks from which the Guardian reported on December 3, days after the COP28 summit in Dubai began on November 30.
Al Jaber made those comments in response to questions from Mary Robinson, the chair of the Elders group and a former UN special envoy for climate change.
Putting someone else down to make you feel better isn’t going to help anything. Dividing people and putting them against each other has been the mantra of the donkey party for ages. What gets me as people still fall for it.
His parents were related, no wonder he makes inbred comments like this. When you are insulated from the real world and have the carbon footprint of a city, this is the kind of argument you make while showing the world what a fool you really are. The King has no clothes. (see at the end of the post how he lives a hypocritical life)
“Net Zero” is a list of unrealistic goals laid out by the World Economic Forum (WEF), with backing from the United Nations (UN), that seeks to advance a globalist collectivism agenda.
Thinly veiled as environmentalism, the unachievable goals of “Net Zero” would bankrupt society and make the public dependent on an unelected corporatocratic elite.
Yesterday, King Charles III delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of COP28.
He said that “they” needed $4.5 to $5 trillion per year to drive the transformation that’s needed because of “climate change.”
“28 eight years ago I was most touched to be asked to speak at the opening of COP21 in Paris which of course culminated in the Paris agreement,” Charles III said at COP28.
The Paris Agreement adopted in December 2015 during the COP21 climate conference stipulates that the increase in the global average temperature is to be kept well below 2°C above “pre-industrial levels” and that efforts are pursued to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above “pre-industrial levels.”
However, as former renewable energy manager and head of the German Wildlife Foundation Fritz Vahrenholt discovered in 2017, closer inspection of the treaty text reveals that the term “pre-industrial levels” is nowhere defined in this epochal UN document.
It could have been worse. King Charles could have ascended to his desert dais and pronounced that we had just 96 months to avert “irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse”. But that was the Right Charlie back in 2009, giving us the benefit of his sandwich-board scientific wisdom. These days it is all fashionable bad weather and undefined “tipping points”. The man is now King, and at COP28 he threw away his irksome politically-neutral constitutional role, wrapped himself in Guardianista pseudoscience, and punched down hard on the poor who will be forced to pay for the collectivist madness that is the Net Zero project.
King Charles is no friend of general humanity. Speaking at COP28, he said: “The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth.” As with many know-your-place elitists, he appears to abhor the impacts that humans have on the planet. He exhibits, sadly on a world stage, a snobbish distain for capitalism – what used to be dismissed in British aristocratic circles as ‘trade’. This capitalist trend over the last 200 years has harnessed the power of natural hydrocarbons to raise billions to a standard of living and health unimaginable to previous generations. In 2009, Charles said we can no longer afford consumerism and the “age of convenience” was over.
Not for the new British King, it need hardly be observed. He lives a life of pampered indulgence where no expense is spared to ensure his every comfort. On his accession to the throne, he added considerably to his Palace Portfolio. To spread his malevolent Net Zero fantasies, he has a fleet of cars, private planes and even a personal train at his command. He uses these to call for “transformational action” to be taken to save the planet. In his COP28 speech, he called for the restoration of nature, the need for sustainable agriculture, and co-operation between the public and private sectors.
Dear President Gay, Since my letter to you of November 4th to which you did not reply or even acknowledge, I have received substantial feedback and input from senior members of the Harvard faculty about a number of the issues I raised in my letter concerning…
“Saying anything that doesn’t highlight the importance of slavery and colonialism as animating forces of history is not acceptable speech. Lived experience and ideology become the dominant forces of conversation. All of the courses follow the same playbook ideology. Ideology poses as coursework.” On Antisemitism, Support for Hamas, and the Protests Against Israel When I asked members of the faculty about the causes behind the Israeli/Gaza protests and the tolerance for antisemitism on campus, they explained: “Whiteness at Harvard is deemed fundamentally oppressive. Indigenous peoples are presented as in need of justice and reparations. Jews are presented as white people. It is therefore ok to hate Israel and Jews as they are deemed to be oppressors.”
