That morning, as the sun unexpectedly lit up the maze of highways leading to this remote arm of the port of Antwerp, Belgium, a huge cargo ship from the Norwegian company Höegh Autoliners unloaded thousands of cars at one of the terminals of International Car Operators (ICO), a subsidiary of the Japanese group Nippon Yusen Kaisha.
Imported vehicles are seriously piling up at European ports, turning them into “car parks.” Automakers are distributors are struggling with a slowdown in car sales as well as logistical bottlenecks that make it hard to alleviate the buildup of new, unsold vehicles.
Some Chinese brand EVs had been sitting in European ports for up to 18 months, while some ports had asked importers to provide proof of onward transport, according to industry executives. One car logistics expert said many of the unloaded vehicles were simply staying in the ports until they were sold to distributors or end users.

Although Trump-supporter Manny Coto was the showrunner for the last season of Star Trek: Enterprise in 2005, the series as been on the decline ever since the Berman/Braga Era. This was after Gene Roddenberry, the coke-addicted alcoholic who abused the staff of Star Trek: The Next Generation through his attorney, Leonard Maizlish, was forced out in 1989.
Alex Kurtzman took over after the 2009 Star Trek film, and things went downhill from there. Star Trek: Discovery is one of the most widely-mocked shows in history, and Star Trek: Picard was an overall terrible production. Star Trek: New Worlds even had January 6 as a “major event.”
If you search the site for EVs or Electric Vehicles, you’ll find every reason not to buy one, and thankfully, we’re not the only ones pointing it out. EV sales are lousy in the US, which has to be why Democrat states are looking to ban gas-powered cars.
They want you on an EV bus, a bicycle, walking, or better yet – living on an urban heat island confined to quarters. If you live under that yoke, here’s a reminder of why you need to make a change politically – if you still can.
EVs have a short shelf life compared to other vehicles. Whatever the battery warranty is, that’s it. It’s over. No one is going to buy it used; it is almost worthless as a trade-in. Given how much shorter this life span can be compared to a more affordable combustion engine vehicle (assuming you didn’t crash your EV and have to scrap it sooner), you will need another car. If you are an EV-tard, that’ll mean another whole-vehicle carbon footprint before its time and a repeat of what you just went through.
If you buy a used EV and the car is over five years old (Don’t do it!), You can expect to spend two to three times its value to replace the battery pack, which has been losing range rapidly since you bought it. You might get a few years out of it.
In other words, never buy a used EV. Just don’t do it. Here’s an example of the problem and why internal combustion engine vehicles are irreplaceable (disregarding the reality that EV trucks, tractors, and other heavy equipment will never be EV on this technology)
It’s a cult purchase for those who are good sheep or socialists that think somehow they are helping the environment while young children are digging up Cobalt for their batteries half way around the world.
Plus, the sound of a V-8 or a V-12 is a dick hardener for those of us who have a pair and know how a car should sound.

Last night we saw law enforcement moving onto the campus of UCLA as they were preparing to remove the pro-Hamas encampment.
They waited until about 5am eastern (2am local) to actually begin after giving plenty of warning to the protesters that they must leave. The protesters refused.

A new report from the Epoch Times reveals its investigation shows that the CDC knew of the links between the COVID shots and death – and lied about them.
The report explains officials at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “found evidence that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines caused multiple deaths before claiming that there was no evidence linking the vaccines to any deaths.”
It was CDC employees who tracked down reports of deaths post-vaccination “and learned that myocarditis—or heart inflammation, a confirmed side effect of the vaccines—was listed on death certificates and in autopsies for some of the deaths.”
That is confirmed, the report said, in an internal file the publication obtained.
The Times explained “Myocarditis was also described as being caused by vaccination in a subset of the deaths. In other cases, the CDC workers found that deaths met the agency’s definition for myocarditis, that the patients started showing symptoms within 42 days of a vaccine dose, and that the deceased displayed no virus-related symptoms. Officials say that after 42 days, a possible link between the vaccine and symptoms becomes tenuous, and they list post-vaccination deaths as unrelated if they can find any possible alternative causes.”
No one is teaching. Or, rather, the teachers are teaching the ego-tantrum, validating toddler politics with their own toddler politics. You have to have a cohort of adults to prepare the next cohort of adults. And so here we are. Anyone who objects to you making your encampment on campus a Jew-free zone is obviously a MAGA jerk.

To claim control of a shared physical space and to impose an intellectual and ideological litmus test are not in keeping with our bedrock principles and values.
There aren’t many academic leaders who have passed this test.

AP admits half of Americans do not trust news organization: Poll
The Associated Press admitted on Wednesday that more than half of the country does not trust mainstream news outlets when it comes to reporting on the 2024 presidential election.
A new poll revealed that 53% of respondents are “extremely” or “very concerned” that news organizations will report inaccuracies or misinformation during the election, according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll.
Nearly half of the respondents (47%) also revealed they are “extremely or very concerned” that the news outlets will not verify or fact-check information before they publish it, and 44% are concerned that the news will be presented in a biased way.
“The level of engagement is good,” Michael Bolden, CEO of the American Press Institute which helped with the poll, told the AP. “The thing that’s most concerning is that they’re not sure that they can actually trust the information.”

Columbia University banned media access on its campus Tuesday as pro-Palestine protests continue.
“Media access to campus is suspended. Campus is accessible only to CUID-holders and essential personnel as a safety measure and that includes media,” read an announcement on the university website.
Spoiled Children Have Seized the Colleges We Pay For
Columbia University receives a taxpayer subsidy of almost $500 million every year for the overhead on federal research grants. That’s not the money it receives to conduct research. That’s the amount Columbia gets to pay for the buildings in which it conducts that research.
Never mind that Columbia already has more than $14 billion in endowment to pay for all the buildings it needs. And all of this is on top of the money the school gets by over-charging for tuition, which is made possible by students being able to take out subsidized loans that taxpayers might have to “forgive.”

Ford just reported a massive loss on every electric vehicle it sold

Ford’s electric vehicle unit reported that losses soared in the first quarter to $1.3 billion, or $132,000 for each of the 10,000 vehicles it sold in the first three months of the year, helping to drag down earnings for the company overall.
Ford, like most automakers, has announced plans to shift from traditional gas-powered vehicles to EVs in coming years. But it is the only traditional automaker to break out results of its retail EV sales. And the results it reported Wednesday show another sign of the profit pressures on the EV business at Ford and other automakers.
The EV unit, which Ford calls Model e, sold 10,000 vehicles in the quarter, down 20% from the number it sold a year earlier. And its revenue plunged 84% to about $100 million, which Ford attributed mostly to price cuts for EVs across the industry. That resulted in the $1.3 billion loss before interest and taxes (EBIT), and the massive per-vehicle loss in the Model e unit.
The losses go far beyond the cost of building and selling those 10,000 cars, according to Ford. Instead the losses include hundreds of millions being spent on research and development of the next generation of EVs for Ford. Those investments are years away from paying off.
And that means this is not the end of the losses in the unit – Ford said it expects Model e will have EBIT losses of $5 billion for the full year.
After stating that DEI/DIE was the most important part of their business, they just burned through $3.3 billion in one quarter cleaning up the mess:
Top jet manufacturer Boeing reported on Wednesday a net loss of $355 million in the first quarter after months of scrutiny over recent safety issues.
Operating revenue declined 8% year over year in the first quarter, from approximately $17.9 billion to $16.6 billion, with the company burning more than $3.9 billion in free cash flow in the time frame compared to $786 million a year ago, according to Boeing’s first quarter earnings report. Recent scrutiny of safety with Boeing products began in January after an Alaska Airlines flight had a door plug fly off mid-air, resulting in an emergency landing and an investigation into the company’s quality assurance.=
“Our first quarter results reflect the immediate actions we’ve taken to slow down 737 production to drive improvements in quality,” Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun said in the report. “We will take the time necessary to strengthen our quality and safety management systems and this work will position us for a stronger and more stable future.”
Boeing reported an over $3.3 billion operating cash flow loss in the first quarter, compared to a $318 billion loss at the start of 2023, according to the earnings report. The decline in profits led to a core loss per share of $1.13 for shareholders in the first quarter, lower than the $1.27 loss in the same time frame last year.

Feminism made the error of telling us to behave and think like men
Historically, of course, the feminist argument had valid points. If a woman had a good education, however, she could make a comfortable living and remain independent of male approval. CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — It’s not just another ride for a pair of veteran NASA astronauts who arrived to the Space Coast ahead of their flight onboard Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner.
Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita “Suni” Williams, who both joined NASA’s astronaut corps more than two decades ago, will be the commander and pilot for the Crew Flight Test mission of the much-delayed spacecraft.
It’s set to launch with humans on board for the first time atop an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 41 on May 6 at 10:34 p.m., headed to the International Space Station.

Columbia student banned from campus after remarks about ‘murdering Zionists’
The Columbia University student who discussed “murdering Zionists” was “banned from campus” Friday, according to a university spokesperson.
Junior Khymani James expressed “regret” early Friday after he went viral online for previously suggesting people should be “grateful” he wasn’t “murdering Zionists,” whom he likened to “White supremacists” and “Nazis.”
Without explicitly mentioning what they were, James copped to inflammatory comments that were first reported by The Daily Wire, during a livestream of an official Columbia inquiry in January.
“I actually kind of hope they do kick me out because I’ve been meaning to travel to South America,” James said of whether he would remain on as a student at Columbia during the livestream.
University sources told Fox News Digital disciplinary proceedings are now underway.
Before the news James was banned, Columbia put out a campus update calling the video “extremely alarming and upsetting.”
“Calls of violence and statements targeted at individuals based on their religious, ethnic, or national identity are unacceptable and violate university policy,” the statement said. “When there are violations of student conduct policies, they are reviewed and disciplinary measures are applied.”
“What is a Zionist? A White supremacist,” James said in the resurfaced video.

The protests, which began when students took over Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus lawn last week, have mushroomed nationwide.
Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia — all of them organized by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) — and at some, students have clashed with police.
Pro-Palestinian students set up an anti-Israel encampment Wednesday in Harvard Yard despite the university issuing restrictions for the area all this week.
At one point, as many as 500 people participated in the protest, demanding “divestment” from Israel and urging the university to reverse its decision to suspend the Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee, The Harvard Crimsonreports. Many similar demonstrations have taken place on campuses across the country in the past week.
“We call on you to share our anger as a starting part to continue and constant mobilization,” one organizer told the crowd. “Now more than ever, when Harvard most wants for us to be silent, we have a duty to speak out louder than ever. Free, free Palestine.”
Afterward, students began setting up tents and sleeping bags on the lawn despite signs warning of disciplinary measures if they “bring in unauthorized structures such as tents or tables or block access to building entrances,” according to The Crimson.
A video on the Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee’s Instagram account shows students cheering loudly and beating drums as others rush to erect tents and place sleeping bags on the lawn.

The Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (also known as “TJ”) is one of the highest-ranking high schools in the country.
Unfortunately, several years ago, the Fairfax County, Virginia, school board ditched traditional standardized tests and admission selections based on the best students available and moved to an “equity” formula designed to boost admissions for middle school students identifying as racial minorities.
This caused the percentage of Asian students to drop precipitously, leading to federal court litigation asserting a violation of the United States Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause.
[Equity-based admissions] practices at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (“TJ”) has now resulted in a lawsuit filed by the Pacific Legal Foundation. AP reports:
Located in the suburbs of the nation’s capital, the school is frequently ranked as the best in the country, and families plan for years to try to help their children gain admission.
The student body is 70% Asian American, with minuscule numbers of Black and Hispanic students.
The Fairfax County school board voted last year to revise the admissions process and eliminate a standardized test that had been a key part of the evaluation process. It also set aside a specific number of slots for students at each of the middle schools in the county.
Board members have said they hope the new process increases Black and Hispanic representation in the student body.
The lawsuit, though, alleges that the set-asides will end up hurting Asian American families that are clustered in a handful of middle schools that currently send large numbers of students to “TJ,” as the school is known.
Erin Wilcox, a lawyer with the Pacific Legal Foundation, said at a press conference Wednesday that the policies themselves are discriminatory, but the intent is made even more clear by statements from board members who said they want the changes to result in a student body with a racial makeup that matches the county’s demographics.
“The discriminatory intent they’ve shown is intertwined and an inseparable part of the policies they put in place,” Wilcox said.

Texas won this year’s crown for best state, with Florida taking second place, which Chief Executive notes has been “the pattern for nearly the entire history of the annual survey that began in 2001.” Tennessee was rated the third-best state for business.

Hamas seized on the U.S.-Israel dispute with a statement calling on “all free people of the world” to protest.
There’s also the fact that for-real terrorists are literally grooming and training the leaders of the simple-minded sheep in the streets and on campus greens. This is no organic, spontaneous eruption of goodwill for Palestinians who have missed a meal or dodged Israeli incoming. It’s all part of a carefully constructed plan to turn this country on its head.
…Six months after the attack on Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and others aren’t merely cheering those protesting in the streets. They are working with and grooming activists in the U.S. and the West, through meetings, online interviews and podcasts.

Thanks to rats, life is getting tougher. The city Health Department has just warned that in 2023 rat-related sickness soared to the highest level in a single year.
The Health Department is warning of a worrisome increase in the number of infectious leptospirosis cases that come from contact with rat urine.
“Not only are rodents unsightly and can traumatize your day, but they’re a real health-related crises,” Mayor Eric Adams said.
Last year was a record year for rat disease. From 2001 to 2020, New York City was averaging just three cases of human leptospirosis per year. That jumped to 24 cases last year and there have been six cases so far this year.
Officials are worried because it often comes from handling trash bags or bins containing food waste. If not treated it can cause kidney failure, meningitis, liver damage and respiratory distress. In all, six people have died. So the city will start by mounting an education campaign.

Just four days after the harrowing October 7 attack, a former Columbia undergraduate beat an Israeli student with a stick while shouting racial epithets.

More recently, on March 24, anti-Israel groups hosted a ‘Resistance 101‘ event in a Columbia dorm featuring speakers linked to US- and Israel-designated foreign terrorist organizations, including the PFLP [Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine]. Speakers explicitly endorsed terrorism and called on students to support it. This unauthorized event was nevertheless promoted by Columbia faculty and staff.

Even before our first surface stations report in 2009, The Heartland Institute led the way in reporting on problems with the surface temperature record.
We have highlighted how the surface station record did not correspond to the temperatures recorded by global satellites and weather balloons, two alternative temperature data sources whose data sets closely track each other. Heartland has repeatedly exposed instances in both the United States and abroad where official agencies tamper with past temperature data at pristine stations, adjusting it to appear cooler than what was actually recorded, while adjusting recent temperatures upward. We were all over the adjustments made by corrupt NOAA scientists in 2015 before the Paris climate treaty negotiations—mixing data from unbiased ocean buoys with heat-biased temperature measurements taken from ships’ engine water intake inlets, which made it appear the ocean was suddenly warming faster than before.
Also, first, foremost, and most forcefully, we independently documented the serious problems with the official surface temperature record arising from the fact that the vast majority of temperature stations are poorly sited. Stations fail NOAA’s own standards for quality, unbiased stations in reporting temperatures skewed by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect.
My colleague, award-winning meteorologist Anthony Watts, in 2009, and then again, as a follow-up, in 2022, detailed with station location data and photographic evidence the problematic surfaces stations. Stations providing official data that were sited in locations where surrounding surfaces, structures, and equipment radiated stored heat or emitted heat directly biasing or driving the recorded temperatures higher than were recorded at stations in the same region, uncompromised by the well-known UHI (that is widely ignored by alarmists and official government agencies).
Of the sampling of hundreds of stations across the country Watts and his volunteer team documented in 2009, Watts wrote:
We found stations located next to the exhaust fans of air conditioning units, surrounded by asphalt parking lots and roads, on blistering-hot rooftops, and near sidewalks and buildings that absorb and radiate heat. We found 68 stations located at wastewater treatment plants, where the process of waste digestion causes temperatures to be higher than in surrounding areas.
In fact, we found that 89 percent of the stations—nearly 9 of every 10—fail to meet the National Weather Service’s own siting requirements …

Look for words like “geolocation” and “geotargeting” to find out if your location information is collected.

Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly came in hot Tuesday after former CNN pundit Jeffrey Toobin attacked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

The new study from British pediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass confirms what we’ve always known: Children presenting with sudden onset gender dysphoria are actually suffering from other mental health diagnoses—not true gender dysphoria. Her research debunks the gender ideologues’ frequent talking point: that the imposition of medical “gender-affirming care” on mentally ill children is not only necessary, but life-saving.
More questions are being raised about Dr Anthony Fauci‘s ties to the Covid lab leak theory after the release of a tranche of new emails.
The former White House advisor, 83, was hit with a series of new allegations this week including that he secretly conspired with the CIA to squash debate about the origins of the virus.
Leaked documents also showed that Dr Fauci’s top aide intentionally tried to hide his discussions about the virus’s genesis by using his personal email.
And now new messages show Dr Fauci was engaged in some form of ‘damage control’ at the time his department was being probed about funding to the Chinese laboratory feared to have started the pandemic.
The April 2020 email, sent between Dr Fauci’s aide and a third-party group who distributed government grants to China, suggests they were concerned about backlash coming from the probe.
EcoHealth Alliance, headed by Dr Peter Daszak, helped fund research at the Wuhan lab using grants from Dr Fauci’s department, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).
The lab had enjoyed part of a $3.3 million in US taxpayer funds since 2014 to conduct experiments on bat coronaviruses.
At the end of 2019, the virus that would eventually spark a global pandemic emerged in Wuhan with early cases linked to a seafood market just eight miles away from the lab.
In April 2020, when 787,000 Americans had gotten sick and 42,000 had died of Covid, EcoHealth hit a regulatory snag.

New York City health authorities have recorded a significant rise in cases of human leptospirosis, a disease caused by contact with the urine of animals, particularly rats.
According to an advisory issued by the city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on Friday, six people have been diagnosed with the disease so far this year, while 24 cases were reported in 2023, marking the highest number in a single year. The authorities attribute the rise to a soaring number of rats in the city.
If left untreated, leptospirosis can lead to kidney failure and liver damage. The ailment is caused by several species of bacteria transmitted through animal urine or feces, or contaminated water or soil if comes into contact with the eyes, mouth, nose or breaks in the skin. Among the most common symptoms of the disease are a fever, headaches and chills.
New York City has one of the highest populations of brown rats in the US. Researchers from the city’s pest control company estimated that there were approximately three million rats in the city as of August 2023, finding that the number had increased by nearly 50% in the past decade. Rats are prodigious breeders, with one pair having the potential to produce as many as 15,000 offspring in a year.
The rise in leptospirosis infections comes a year after Mayor Eric Adams appointed Kathleen Corradi as the Big Apple’s first ever director of rodent mitigation, or “rat czar.” The position was created as part of an effort to bring down the booming rat population in the city.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), a US Senator and Doctor of Ophthalmology, released a stunning report on Tuesday where he discovered that 15 different federal agencies knew that the Wuhan laboratory in China was trying to create a COVID-19 virus and they knew this since 2018.

Lisa D. Cook is one of the world’s most powerful economists. She taught economics at Harvard University and Michigan State University and served on the Obama administration’s Council of Economic Advisers before being appointed, in 2022, to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, which controls the interest rates and money supply of the United States.
Despite her pedigree, questions have long persisted about her academic record. Her publication history is remarkably thin for a tenured professor, and her published work largely focuses on race activism rather than on rigorous, quantitative economics. Her nomination to the Fed required Vice President Kamala Harris to cast a tie-breaking vote; by contrast, her predecessor in the seat, Janet Yellen, now Treasury secretary, was confirmed unanimously.
The quality of her scholarship has also received criticism. Her most heralded work, 2014’s “Violence and Economic Activity: Evidence from African American Patents, 1870 to 1940,” examined the number of patents by black inventors in the past, concluding that the number plummeted in 1900 because of lynchings and discrimination. Other researchers soon discovered that the reason for the sudden drop in 1900 was that one of the databases Cook relied on stopped collecting data in that year. The true number of black patents, one subsequent study found, might be as much as 70 times greater than Cook’s figure, effectively debunking the study’s premise.
Cook also seems to have consistently inflated her own credentials. In 2022, investigative journalist Christopher Brunet pointed out that, despite billing herself as a macroeconomist, Cook had never published a peer-reviewed macroeconomics article and had misrepresented her publication history in her CV, claiming that she had published an article in the journal American Economic Review. In truth, the article was published in American Economic Review Papers and Proceedings, a less prestigious, non-peer-reviewed magazine.

He said in recent years “thousands” of cattle in Texas have been slaughter after being infected with TB, and not just TB, but drug-resistant TB, through contact with illegal aliens.

People born in or after 1965 are 17% more likely to be experiencing accelerated aging compared to seniors born between 1950 and 1954, researchers found.
That faster aging is associated with a higher risk of certain cancers among adults younger than 55, also known as early-onset cancers, results show.
“Multiple cancer types are becoming increasingly common among younger adults in the United States and globally,” researcher Ruiyi Tian, a doctoral student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, said in a news release. “Understanding the factors driving this increase will be key to improve the prevention or early detection of cancers in younger and future generations.”
For this study, researchers analyzed blood data for nearly 149,000 people participating in the U.K. Biobank project.
The team used a set of nine biomarkers found in blood to calculate each person’s biological age, or what age a person appears to be based on the condition of their body.
They then contrasted that to the person’s actual age based on their birth date, as well as any cancers that had occurred among them.
Since the 1970s, we’ve been told CO2 is the villain that causes most climate change. NOAA obliterated that with a graph.
“The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere today is comparable to around 4.3 million years ago when sea level was about 75 ft higher than today, the average temp was 7 degrees F higher than in pre-industrial times, & large forests occupied areas of the Arctic that are now tundra,” NOAA reports.

1) Wipe out a 2,000 mile border. Allow 10-million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let toxic drugs in that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support for those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.
2) Run up $35 trillion in national debt. Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and inhumane.

3). Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China. Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Follow the lead of international agencies like the UN, ICC, and WHO to atone forpast American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.
4) In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation. Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Redefine all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion, and commendation.
5) Redefine violent crime as understandable, cry-of-the-heart expressions of social justice. Ensure no bail and same-day release for arrested, repeat violent felons. Empathize with the violent killer and rapist; ignore their victims, especially if slain police-officers.
6). Emasculate the military by using non-meritocratic standards of race, gender, and sexual orientation to determine promotion and commendation. Deliberately smear as racists and insurrectionists the largest demographic in the military who in recent wars died at twice their numbers in the population—so that they leave or never join the military. Encourage retired high officers to slander their Commander-in-Chief. Cut the defense budget. Stop producing sufficient weapons, but leave billions of dollars’ worth of arms to terrorists.
7) Reinvent the justice system to indict, bankrupt, convict, jail and eliminate political opponents. Use ballot removal, impeachment, civil suits, and state and federal indictments rather than elections to defeat an opponent. Mob the homes of non-compliant Supreme Court Justices, attack them personally by name.
8) Encourage the fusion of the bureaucratic state with the electric media to form a powerful force for political audit, surveillance, censorship, and coercion. Marry the FBI to Silicon Valley and hire its contractors to warp the news and hound supposed enemies of the people.
9.) Make war on affordable gasoline and natural gas. Substitute inefficient, unreliable, and expensive wind and solar power, even as energy prices bankrupt the middle class.
10.) Marry late, but preferably not at all. Consider males toxic, especially boys. Have no children, or as few as possible. Otherwise, assure children they are entitled, and must be sheltered. Raise them to have grievances against past generations and current norms.
11.) Turn world-class universities into indoctrination centers. Suspend the Bill of Rights on campuses. Train youth to graduate despising their own culture and civilization. Recruit foreign students from hostile nations to subsidize campus commissarbloat. Replace the curriculum with therapeutic propaganda. Ban the SAT/ACT and do not evaluate high school GPAs. Ensure merit does not select the student body. Charge tuition higher than the rate of inflation. Bill the government when students default on their loans.
So why are those controlling Biden using him to advance much of such a destructive agenda that would end America as we know it?
1) They are delusional and think their socialist and globalist agendas are working and will save us.

9) Bill Ayers– Represents the deep and ongoing leftist ideological damage to our education system. An unrepentant American terrorist who evaded punishment, he devoted his career to radicalizing American education and pushing leftist causes. Ghost wrote Obama’s book, “Dreams of My Father.”
8) Teddy Kennedy – Most folks remember Teddy as the guy who left Mary Joe Kopechne to die in his car at Chappaquiddick. The real damage came after he avoided punishment for her death and became a major Democrat force in the US Senate, pushing through transformative liberal policies in health care and education. The real damage was the 1965 Hart-Cellar immigration bill he pushed hard for that changed the quota system to increase the flow of third world people without skills into the US and essentially ended large-scale immigration from Europe.
7) Walter Cronkite – Cronkite was a much beloved network anchor who began the politicalization of America’s news media with his infamous broadcast from Vietnam that described the Tet Offensive as a major victory for the Communists and significantly turned the gullible American public against the Vietnam War. In fact, the Tet offensive was a military disaster for the NVA and Viet Cong, later admitted by North Vietnamese military leaders. Decades later Cronkite admitted he got the story wrong. But it was too late. The damage was done.

She signed off on the sale of 20% of the US uranium reserve to the Russians after Bill received a $500,000 speaking fee in Moscow and the foundation (which supported the Clinton’s regal lifestyle) received hundreds of millions of dollars from those who benefited from the deal. England’s Prince Harry and former C-list actress Meghan Markle — otherwise known as the carpetbagging Duchess of Sussex — are reportedly hoping to become temporary working royals again, but this pipedream is unlikely to happen, according a royal expert.
“Both Meghan and Harry still hope that at some point they might be asked back to become working royals on their own terms — it’s a rapidly shrinking possibility,” author Tom Quinn told the U.K. Mirror.
“But the couple have talked about this at length, and the fact that senior Royal numbers are seriously down at the moment has rekindled their hopes.”
According to Quinn, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were hoping to fill in temporarily as Catherine, the Princess of Wales, and King Charles III are sidelined with their respective cancer battles.
However, Quinn said there’s little goodwill between the royal family and Prince Harry after he and his wife quit their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California.
During the past four years, Meghan tried to monetize her husband’s royal ties and repeatedly trashed the royal family as racists.
“As I understand it from Palace contacts, they are kidding themselves if they think they will be invited back in any way,” Quinn told the Mirror. ”Harry knows he will never be allowed to be a permanent part-time working royal staying six months in the States and then six months in the U.K.

The piece said, “There seems to be a growing interest in a drug called ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans. Certain animal formulations of ivermectin such as pour-on, injectable, paste, and ‘drench,’ are approved in the U.S. to treat or prevent parasites in animals. For humans, ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses to treat some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.”

The FDA promoted on late-night TV its disinformation campaign against using a Nobel-winning wonder drug against covid.
The Week reported, “Late night hosts are baffled anyone chooses horse de-wormer over COVID-19 vaccines.”
I am not baffled as to why all the late-night hosts simultaneously decided to mock ivermectin because if I learned anything from the Twitter files it is that the government bureaucracy will use your money to pay off corporate media to carry its message and to censor you.
The propaganda piece said, “The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.”
The same could be said for what the FDA passed along as vaccines. The FDA may have approved them on an emergency basis, but they had not been shown to be safe or effective for” covid. Since then, we know there is no covid vaccine. There was a covid shot, of course, which mitigated the damage from the virus but it was not a vaccine in that it neither protected the patient from the virus nor did it stop the spread of covid.
The covid shot was like a flu shot. I don’t get them, but my wife did when she was still mobile. To each his (or her) own. I got the covid shot in deference to her because I would never hear the end of it if I killed her. We will spend eternity together, so I am cleaning up my act.

Emily Miller reported on Friday, “The Food and Drug Administration settled the lawsuit brought by three doctors who use ivermectin off-label to treat COVID-19. The FDA agreed to delete social media posts opposing the medication by saying it is for horses.
“Dr. Mary Talley Bowden of Day 8, the plaintiff in the case, told me: ‘The damage the FDA inflicted will linger, but future patients are now protected from one meaningful government intrusion into their medical care.’”
This is locking the medicine cabinet door long after the horse paste hoax had escaped. We do not know how many lives could have been saved if the FDA did not throw shade on ivermectin.
Then again, we don’t know how many people died from covid. Oh, we know how many people died WITH covid. If you had covid and died in a car accident, you counted as a person who died WITH covid. Lucky you.
But how many people covid actually killed will never be known and for good reason. The government did not want you to know. The government thrives in an emergency. Ginning up the numbers kept that emergency going.
I am not an anti-vaxxer. I am very pro-vaccine. Vaccines are a miracle that have eradicated smallpox, which killed one-third of the people who contracted it. The polio vaccine meant kids could be free to go swimming again.
Sure I had measles, chicken pox, German measles and mumps as a kid. I survived. But I gladly would like back the 8 weeks that I spent recovering from the 4. The MMR shot is a miracle. Childhood diseases have a low mortality rate (the odds of dying from measles is at about 1 in 1,000) but why have them at all? Inoculate! There is no link between autism and MMR. The Lancet medical journal lied.
What makes such a lie dangerous is now no one believes what the Lancet published before. That is an awful loss of scientific papers. Surely, not every paper it published was a lie but now none can be trusted.
The FDA has joined the Lancet when it comes to credibility, and that puts everyone in harm’s way because we no longer have someone to turn to for making sure our foods and drugs are safe. The damage done by covid is more than just a wrecked economy that DC is trying to save by foolishly borrowing another trillion dollars every 100 days.

And someday, the federal bureaucracy that cried horse paste will someday face real danger and no one will believe it.

Authority diffused throughout an entire organization’s hierarchy is no authority at all; accountability to technical results becomes challenging, if not impossible, when managers are serving two masters.
Meanwhile, management is rearranging deck chairs to make them more diverse. In 2022, Boeing tied managers’ incentive compensation to the ‘diversity’ of their interview slates, meaning that their bonuses depended on whether or not they considered women, racial minorities, and the disabled for positions they were hiring for. In Boeing’s Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI) 2023 Report, Sara Bowen, vice president of GEDI, Talent Intelligence, and Employee Listening, wrote: “We know diversity must be at the table for every important decision our company makes — every challenge we face, every innovation we design. Equity, diversity and inclusion are core values because they make Boeing — and each of us individually — better.”
Last week, the Robert Koch Institut (the German CDC) released over 2,500 pages documenting the meetings of the “Covid Crisis Team” between January 2020 and April 2021. They did so in response to long-running litigation by journalists at Multipolar.

The premier of Alberta, Canada, is planning legislation to restrict “gender-affirming” surgeries such as mastectomies for minors and puberty blockers for youth aged 15 and under. Other socially liberal nations have also hit the brakes on “gender affirmation,” in children, including Norway, Finland, France, Denmark, Sweden, and New Zealand. So have a score of American states.
Why did it take so long for common sense to return to this contentious issue? Blame the cultural imperialism of gender ideologues who, while most of us were not paying attention, successfully instituted “treatment guidelines” that focused almost exclusively on “affirming” a child’s gender confusion as medically necessary, while branding the more cautious approach of deeply exploring the mental health issues that could have contributed to the patient’s confusion as “transphobic,” and, even, likely to drive gender-confused children to suicide.

A fill-up takes two to five minutes; a charge takes fifteen minutes (if all the stars align), but can take much longer, even hours, and that’s if you can find a working charging station when you need one.

E.V. fires have destroyed homes, garages, even cargo ships. The battery is usually irreparable. As a result, insurance companies are increasingly determining that the damage threshold between “repair it” and “scrap it” is a lot lower for E.V.s than for other vehicles.
All this isn’t to say that E.V.s shouldn’t be a part of the mix, but they clearly ought to be viewed as another niche segment, at just a few percent, like luxury cars and convertibles….

Instead of heeding the warnings about the practicality of EV ownership and maintenance in the country, Biden’s EPA persists in using regulations to bend the American people to its will.
This week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is poised to finalize emissions rules that will effectively require a certain percentage—as much as two-thirds by 2032—of new cars to be all-electric, Politico and other outlets have reported in recent days. The ruling could be announced as soon as this Wednesday.
These standards could first loosen the tough EV requirements between 2027 and 2030, but then mandate an aggressive ramping up of EV sales from 2031. In other words, these revised rules would give car companies a bit of a pass on EVs in the short term, while still pushing for a mostly-electric future starting in the next decade.
In a joint announcement Wednesday, the White House and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unveiled the most aggressive multi-pollutant emission standards ever finalized. While the regulations target gas-powered vehicles, they are explicitly designed to push wider nationwide adoption of electric vehicles (EV) and, according to officials, are expected to ensure nearly 70% of all new car sales are zero-emissions within a few years.

When the tailpipe emissions rules kick in, automakers will be compelled to increase production and sales of EVs, plug-in hybrids, traditional hybrids and fuel cell vehicles. Under one “low cost” model EPA outlined in the rule, officials said automakers would be forced to ensure 56% of light-duty car sales are battery electric and another 13% are hybrid by 2032.
What is it going to take to get these MFCS out of our lives and let us live it. Time to get a car without computer chips in it that you can work on yourself so they can’t regulate it or hit the kill switch. EV’s aren’t an answer to what we need. The infrastructure isn’t there, nor are they economically viable.
Planet Fitness has recently come under fire after word broke that an Alaska location of the gym chain allowed a man to shave in the women’s bathroom. Now the gym’s stock has plummeted after it canceled the membership of the woman who complained.
The incident took place earlier this week when a former gym member, Patricia Silvia, encountered a man in the women’s locker room. The man was reportedly shaving his face. Silvia also claimed that there was “a little girl sitting in the corner” who was likely around 12-years-old, “in a towel, kind of freaked out,” in a written post online, Daily Mail reported.
Additionally, as the New York Post reported, Planet Fitness’ stock price was traded at a monthly high of $66.92 on March 7. As of Tuesday of this week, that price was down to $56.46 and is projected to keep plummeting.
Even so, Planet Fitness has remained firm in its stance to punish Silvia rather than the queer man.
Columbia medical center DEI head plagiarized Ph.D. dissertation, complaint alleges
The leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) officer at a major New York City medical center has recently been accused of plagiarizing nearly a fifth of his Ph.D. dissertation.
Citing a recently submitted anonymous complaint, The Washington Free Beacon on Feb. 29 wrote that Alade McKen “plagiarized extensively in his doctoral dissertation, lifting entire pages of material, without attribution, from sources that include Wikipedia.”
The Free Beacon shared a side-by-side comparison of excerpts from McKen’s Iowa State University doctoral dissertation that closely resemble the work of other authors and Wikipedia.
“A complaint filed with Columbia yesterday implicates approximately a fifth of McKen’s 163-page dissertation,” Free Beacon reporter Aaron Sibarium posted to X the same day as the article’s publication. “Over two of those pages are a near-verbatim facsimile of Wikipedia’s entry on ‘Afrocentric education,’ which McKen never cites.”
McKen’s dissertation, entitled, “‘UBUNTU’ I am because we are: A case study examining the experiences of an African-centered Rites of Passage program within a community-based organization,” was written for a Ph.D. program on education, social, and cultural studies at Iowa State in 2021.
The complaint accuses McKen of plagiarizing more than 30 authors for his dissertation, with some listed in a bibliography but none apparently included for in-text citations.
One of the scholars that McKen allegedly plagiarized from, Chika Ezeanya-Esiobu, told the Free Beacon that she found the evidence supporting the allegations to be convincing.
“The passages you shared can definitely be classified as plagiarism,” she told the outlet.

The continuing and almost daily airline incidents in recent weeks, with planes repeatedly being forced to make emergency landings because of mechanical failures, has too often been blamed by the media on Boeing and the airplanes it builds, when almost all of these mechanical problems have had nothing to do with that airplane manufacturer. Once Boeing sells a plane to an airline, it becomes the airline’s responsibility to maintain it and keep it airworthy. Boeing itself might have serious management and quality control problems making its new planes suspect, but when older planes fail it is not Boeing’s fault. For example, all of the recent failures at United were clearly due to failures of United’s own maintenance staff, failures quite likely instigated by that company’s decision since 2020 to make race and gender the primary qualifications for hiring, not skill, talent, or knowledge.
We are now seeing the same phenomenon at American Airlines (AA), which since December has experienced its own string of flight emergencies:
December 6: 2023: An Airbus plane made an emergency landing at Phoenix when the flight crew reported one of the plane’s flaps had failed.
December 6, 2023: A different Airbus was forced to return to Phoenix because of low oil pressure in one engine.
December 23, 2023: An Airbus A319-100 was forced to make an emergency landing because of a brake issue detected during take-off.
January 8, 2024: A Boeing 787 made an emergency landing in Los Angeles due to an as yet unclarified “mechanical issue.”
February 29, 2024: An Airbus A321 was forced to make an emergency landing when one engine stalled in flight and could not be restarted by the crew.
February 29, 2024: A Boeing 777-200 on its way to Madrid had to turn back to Boston due to a cracked windshield
March 11, 2024: An Airbus A321 had to turn back to Raleigh-Durham airport because a sensor told the crew a cargo door was still open.
March 13, 2024: A Boeing 777 made an emergency landing in Los Angeles when the crew detected low pressure in one of the landing gears.
After Google Gemini was revealed to be rewriting history from a woke perspective, with racial history being distorted when it was asked simple prompts, numerous former Google employees spoke of the woke culture at Google and how it has zealously adopted diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices.
In February, Google paused its AI chatbot’s image generation feature after it was accused of racism against white people. The chatbot was accused of refusing to generate images of white people after Frank Fleming, a writer for Daily Wire scripted content, repeatedly asked the chatbot — whose “next-generation model” Gemini 1.5 offered image generation — for such images.
In a long X thread, Fleming began by asking for an image of a pope. Historically, popes have been white men, but the chatbot posted images of a dark-skinned man and woman. Fleming then proceeded to ask for images of medieval knights (garnering four images, two dark-skinned women and two dark-skinned men); jokingly asked for someone eating “a mayo sandwich on white bread;” asked for an image of a Viking; and then asked for images of groups that are traditionally non-white (such as Japanese samurai and Zulu warriors) to see if the chatbot would show diversity by including white people. It did not.
If all the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity functionaries and their supporters were a corporation — DIE, Inc. — it might rival Apple’s market value. Its “product” of eviscerating America has been widely successful. Just look at the universities (think Claudine Gay), falling military enlistments, the prevalence of “woke” marketing for such iconic brands as Bud Lite, the demonization of white male government employees and the like. Moreover, like all successful corporations, it is constantly innovating to expand market share. After all, America still thrives, so opportunities remain for further evisceration.
The latest DIE Inc. venture focuses on reducing America’s dependence on imported semiconductors. The significance of this latest DIE venture cannot be exaggerated. The good news is that Americans finally realized the dangers of this dependency. Even President Biden has acknowledged the issue. According to a recent White House press release, “…over time, the United States went from producing nearly 40% of the world’s chips to just over 10%, undermining America’s national security and making our economy vulnerable to global supply chain disruptions.” To achieve this technological self-sufficiency, the Biden administration proposed the CHIPS and Science Act.
These chipmakers must hire and train the “right number” of women, people of color, and “justice involved individuals” (i.e., “ex-cons). The bill calls for using “minority-owned businesses” and cooperation with ““minority-serving institutions.” There are 19 sections in the legislation dealing with minority groups, including hiring a Chief Diversity Officer at the National Science Foundation to promote national security.

Harvard professor of honesty tampered with data and should be fired: university probe
A celebrated Harvard honesty professor who researched why people cheat tampered with data in her work — and should be fired, a university probe released this week found.
Francesca Gino, a star behavioral scientist at Harvard Business School whose work has focused on dishonesty, was found to have tweaked observations in four studies so that their findings boosted their hypotheses, according to a nearly 1,300-page report detailing the school’s months-long investigation.
“The committee concludes that Professor Gino has engaged in multiple instances of research misconduct, across all four studies at issue in these allegations,” the report read.
Gino, a star academic who had authored over 140 academic papers and snagged numerous awards, came under fire last year after a trio of behavioral scientists published a series of explosive posts on their blog Data Colada, writing four academic papers published between 2012 and 2020 that the Harvard professor had co-authored “contained fraudulent data.”
The university report detailed that Harvard began a preliminary investigation of Gino’s work in October 2021 after the Data Colada researchers brought their concerns about the papers’ sketchy data to the school.
A full probe was conducted in 2022 and 2023, with three HBS faculty members interviewing Gino and people who worked with her on the papers, in addition to reviewing her data, emails, and papers’ manuscripts. An outside forensics firm also was hired to analyze her studies’ data.
When asked about the issues with her work, Gino told investigators either she or her research assistants may have made errors when handling the data — or someone with “malicious intentions” could have tampered with it, according to the university report.
The investigators rejected both theories and provided findings to HBS Dean Datar in March 2023, advising the school to place her on unpaid leave and begin termination proceedings.

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A United Airlines flight that departed from San Francisco International Airport Friday morning lost a panel, which was discovered after landing in Oregon, the Rogue Valley International Medford Airport confirmed to KRON4.
Flight 433 landed safely at Medford Airport around 11:30 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The missing panel has not been found. At this time, it is unknown how the panel fell off the plane. No damage to the plane was reported, and normal airport operations resumed, Medford airport officials said.
United did not declare an emergency landing as there was no indication of damage to the aircraft during the flight. According to the airline, there were 139 passengers and six crew members on board. The plane involved was a Boeing 737-800.
This afternoon, United flight 433 landed safely at its scheduled destination at Rogue Valley International/Medford Airport. After the aircraft was parked at the gate, it was discovered to be missing an external panel. We’ll conduct a thorough examination of the plane and perform all the needed repairs before it returns to service. I am no longer a professor of medicine at Harvard. The Harvard motto is Veritas, Latin for truth. But, as I discovered, truth can get you fired. This is my story—a story of a Harvard biostatistician and infectious-disease epidemiologist, clinging to the truth as the world lost its way during the Covid pandemic.
On March 10, 2020, before any government prompting, Harvard declared that it would “suspend in-person classes and shift to online learning.” Across the country, universities, schools, and state governments followed Harvard’s lead.
Yet it was clear, from early 2020, that the virus would eventually spread across the globe, and that it would be futile to try to suppress it with lockdowns. It was also clear that lockdowns would inflict enormous collateral damage, not only on education but also on public health, including treatment for cancer, cardiovascular disease, and mental health. We will be dealing with the harm done for decades. Our children, the elderly, the middle class, the working class, and the poor around the world—all will suffer.
Schools closed in many other countries, too, but under heavy international criticism, Sweden kept its schools and daycares open for its 1.8 million children, ages one to 15. Why? While anyone can get infected, we have known since early 2020 that more than a thousandfold difference in Covid mortality risk holds between the young and the old. Children faced minuscule risk from Covid, and interrupting their education would disadvantage them for life, especially those whose families could not afford private schools, pod schools, or tutors, or to homeschool.
What were the results during the spring of 2020? With schools open, Sweden had zero Covid deaths in the one-to-15 age group, while teachers had the same mortality as the average of other professions. Based on those facts, summarized in a July 7, 2020, report by the Swedish Public Health Agency, all U.S. schools should have quickly reopened.

Scientists detect flaws in the collection of global temperature data
Governments around the world are combating a fictional problem that is blown completely out of proportion when compared to actual issues that people face. To make matters worse, the Biden regime adheres to dogma and relies on its most recent National Climate Assessment report to argue that human activities are accelerating global warming. The policies coming out of D.C seek to restrict, control or modulate human activities at scale to save the planet from temperatures changes that are out of our control anyway.
An American Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing in California on Wednesday evening after the pilot reported a potential mechanical issue with the Boeing 777 aircraft, the airline said.
Flight345, which had taken off from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, landed at Los Angeles International Airport at around 8:45 p.m. without any incident, according to American Airlines. The plane was able to taxi to the gate under its own power, and passengers disembarked as usual.
There have been at least six reported incidents involving Boeing planes in the past week. It was reported that a blown tire might have caused the emergency landing, but American Airlines did not confirm this.

1. Renewables can’t survive on their own
The renewable energy industry is a subsidy-based industry, as wind and solar are largely dependent on lucrative state and federal subsidies. However, renewable advocates justify these perpetual subsidies by claiming thermal generators receive more subsidies than wind and solar. This assertion is not based on reality…. *** In 2022, wind and solar generators received three and eighteen times more subsidies per MWh, respectively, than natural gas, coal, and nuclear generators combined. Solar is the clear leader, receiving anywhere from $50 to $80 per MWh over the last five years, whereas wind is a distant second at $8 to $10 per MWh.
Poor solar energy! No matter how many billions the government pours down the solar rathole, no one has figured out a way to generate solar power after the sun goes down.
2. Renewables increase the cost of electricity
Renewable advocates often claim that the adoption of more wind and solar will lead to lower electricity costs, but the opposite is true. In a previous Substack, we wrote in detail about how utility companies with the largest rate increase requests in the country admit the energy transition is a major reason behind increasing electricity prices for families and businesses.
“Green” advocates fake the numbers for wind and solar by the simple expedient of only counting a fraction of their costs. This chart shows the actual cost of the various energy systems if all costs are included:
A 2022 study found that electric vehicles (EVs) which left-leaning governments in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere are pushing on the population, pollute at a rate far higher than their gasoline or diesel-powered counterparts.
The 2022 study from the U.K.-based Emissions Analytics group found that during a 1,000 mile journey, EVs release 1,850 times more pollutants into the surrounding environment than gas-powered vehicles, due to the heavier weight which eats through tires.
While many think of emissions from exhaust, tire wear plays a significant role in emitting pollutants. The synthetic rubber used to create tires include certain chemicals that get released into the air, and because EVs are significantly heavier than conventional cars due to massive lithium batteries.
Overall, EVs weigh about 30 percent more than gas-powered vehicles, and cost thousands more to make and buy. These issues are in addition to the fact that they are not suitable in colder climates (such as Canada and the northern U.S.), offer poor range and long charging times (especially in cold weather), and have batteries that take tremendous resources to make and are hard to recycle.
The Study finds that the attempted-suicide rate among transgender women who received a vaginoplasty in California was twice as high during the period after the surgery compared with the period before the surgery. The investigators analyzed data on all 868 people who received a vaginoplasty and 357 people who received a phalloplasty in California from 2012-2018. There were an average of 2 years of data before and after surgery.
A total of 22% of the vaginoplasty group and 21% of the phalloplasty group had at least one ER or in-patient psych encounter during the study period, whether before or after surgery. If there was a psych encounter prior to surgery, 34% of the vaginoplasty group and 27% of the phalloplasty group had a psych encounter after surgery.
Among those receiving a vaginoplasty, the rate of suicide attempts was twice as high after the surgery, at 3.3%, compared with before, at 1.5%. The phalloplasty suicide-attempt rate was similar to the general population, while the vaginoplasty group’s rate was more than twice as high as the general population.

G/O Media sold Deadspin to European firm Lineup Publishing. Its website says the company is located in Malta.
“Lineup Publishing is a newly formed digital media company described in their own words as ‘dedicated to creating, acquiring and managing high quality media brands across a variety of sectors,’” G/O Media CEO Jim Spanfeller wrote to employees.
Spanfeller told everyone that Lineup Publishing will not bring over any existing staff. It will “build a new team more in line with their editorial vision for the brand.”
Lineup Publishing will “take a different approach” to sports coverage.
G/O Media acquired Deadspin in 2019. Before that, it fell under the Gawker umbrella, which sold it to Univision after having to pay Hulk Hogan millions and going into bankruptcy.
G/O Media recently closed down Jezebel and Splinter News. It sold LifeHacker last year.
