Not many vice presidents are particularly memorable. They’re the number two guy on the nation’s top ticket who, despite having an important role in backroom politics, are rarely ever called upon for high-profile service. Or as Thomas Jefferson put it all the way back in 1797, “The second office of this government is honorable & easy, the first is but a splendid misery.”
However, Bill Clinton’s veep, Al Gore, made a name for himself in two ways.
First, by insisting on endless recounts in Florida in the hopes of winning the 2000 presidential election against George W. Bush.
Second, for his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” which was ostensibly intended to educate the public about global warming. This film debuted in 2006 and was awarded two Oscars in 2007. Also in 2007, Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his climate alarmism.
The only problem is that 20 years later, all of his “inconvenient truths” have been thoroughly debunked.
Gore definitely helped stimulate a political movement, and ecofascism was the rancid fruit of his fearmongering. He held the belief, like many environmentalists do, that the world is dying because of humans, and we’re running out of time to fix it. Thus, climate virtue signals began to hit the mainstream.
It was “virtuous” to drive clean cars, not eat red meat, and promote alternative energy, all to save the dying planet. Europe is still trying to get to “net zero” by 2030. Denmark is even forcing its farmers to poison their cattle to prevent flatulence because of the methane gas that is produced.
In “An Inconvenient Truth,” Gore rants about how greenhouse gases like CO2 cause global warming. (Nary a Democrat, of course, will point out that CO2 isn’t a pollutant.) He claimed that because humans are adding to greenhouse gases, there would no longer be snow on Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro, that all the glaciers would melt, and that natural disasters and monster storms would occur in perpetuity.
Here we are in 2026, and Mount Kilimanjaro still has snow (even record snowfall as recently as 2018). The glaciers that Gore was so concerned about disappearing are all still there. In fact, one glacier in Argentina — El Perito Moreno — is growing larger. Big storms and natural disasters occur just as they have before, fluctuating year after year. In other words, Gore’s big points have all been debunked. The documentary didn’t age well.
And now some facts proving the weather hoax – Weather analysis models
My new paper (May, 2025) emphasizes that while many of the underlying observations used to build weather reanalysis datasets, such as ERA5 (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts or ECMWF Reanalysis v5) (Soci et al., 2024) or MERRA-2 (Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications, Version 2) (Gelaro et al., 2017), are from radiosondes, weather reanalysis models are still models and have the same problems that other models have. Thus, they are not observations or measurements, like those in radiosonde data repositories such as IGRA2, and should not be treated as such. The reanalysis models assimilate surface measurements and satellite data in addition to radiosonde data and blend the measurements together into a global or regional grid using a general circulation atmospheric model. Weather reanalysis models produce reasonably consistent, physics-based periodic (usually every 6 to 12 hours) estimates of the global atmospheric state (Bloom et al., 1996), but they are not observations. Dr. Hans Hersbach of ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) provides us with figure 1 below which is an illustration of the data assimilation process in ERA5.

More, oh…much more here, with all the math to prove it
In conclusion, Al Gore is a liar, in it for the money and the fame he didn’t get for being first loser in 1980

What are your feelings about eating meat?
Of course I do. We were made to get nutrition from omnivorous sources. When younger, I harvested my own meat and vegetables, and took care of 60 animals for every one that fed my family.
Now, I eat only organic, unprocessed foods. After all, you are eating what your meal ate. It is for cardiovascular reasons.
Your body requires specific energy sources that vegetables alone cannot provide.
If I meet a vegan cat lady, I will know it’s a red flag for an unhealthy person, both in mind and body. Stay away from these people, very far away.

First, I’d like to call out Erin Andrews, sports babe who flies on private jets, makes $2 million and got a $55 million settlement for someone filming her in her hotel room.
Of all the girls on the sidelines who add about 30 seconds of useless commentary to a game, I loathe her the most.
During an episode of her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa with fellow sportscaster Charissa Thompson, Andrews said:
“You got to love what you do because, I miss all holidays. I didn’t get married until I was in my 40s. Not that that is going to be your route, but I live out of a suitcase. I miss a lot of stuff. I missed a lot of weddings. I miss a lot of events. You have to love it to get you through the fact, I’m not gonna be home for Thanksgiving next week or Christmas is cut short.”
Now, Andrews wasn’t exactly complaining. She knows she’s got a pretty great thing going with her career, so nobody’s really going to have any sympathy for somebody making millions of dollars a year to call football games. But her comments still didn’t sit well with quite a few people on social media:
But it’s going to be hard to beat out this racist:
Sarah Anderson | 3:59 PM on November 22, 2025

In the wake of New York City electing itself a real live communist for mayor earlier this month, Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) introduced a non-binding resolution to Congress this past week called “Denouncing the horrors of socialism.” That means it doesn’t create any sort of real law — it’s largely symbolic, with the intention of affirming “that the United States rejects socialism and opposes the implementation of socialist policies that threaten the freedoms and prosperity that define our nation.”
Voting in favor of it should have been a no-brainer. It was for Republicans, at least: 199 voted in favor of it, with zero voting against. For Democrats, on the other hand, only 86 managed to find it within themselves to denounce the very things the U.S. stands against, while 98 voted against and two voted present, and 47 didn’t vote at all. You can’t make this stuff up.
She can demand they remove it from the record all she wants, but the fact is that the congresswoman has, indeed, had a long love affair with Fidel Castro and communist Cuba. For decades, she’s opposed the U.S. embargo on the Caribbean country, she’s defended some of the policies of Castro and his regime, and yes, she’s visited Cuba numerous times under the guise of improving relations between our two nations.
In 1998, she wrote a letter to Castro, apologizing to him for “mistakenly” voting for “House Concurrent Resolution 254, which called on the Government of Cuba to extradite to the United States Joanne Chesimard and all other individuals who have fled the United States from political persecution and received political asylum in Cuba.” Joanne Chesimard, also known as Assata Shakur, was a member of the Black Liberation Army and a career criminal back in the 1960s and 1970s who was finally charged with first degree murder after killing a New Jersey State Police officer in 1973. She was sentenced to life in prison, but eventually escaped and moved to Cuba, where she lived in exile until her recent death.
Anyone who loves Castro and what he did to Cuba is certainly at least co-AOTW with Andrews.
For decades, the monolithic and sacrosanct international climate change hierarchy went unquestioned.
Western nations in particular spent trillions of dollars over the past half-century to subsidize expensive but erratic wind and solar energy while demonizing carbon fuels as toxic threats to the planet.
Like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion dogma, climate change orthodoxy was embedded into every aspect of Western culture, from the corporate boardroom to the university campus.
Question whether man-made global warming was truly responsible for increased temperatures rather than natural, often centuries-long cycles of heating and cooling of the planet, and one was labeled a climate crank.
Everything from declining fertility to forest fires was ridiculously attributed to climate change.
But the causes of both demographic crises and charred landscapes were more likely the result of new affluent lifestyles that saw child-rearing as too expensive and time-consuming, and misguided forest policies or underfunded firefighting.
Yet reality has caught up with the near-religious climate change cult.
One, the left-wing tech billionaires—exemplified by former climate change zealot Bill Gates—have become apostates of the green movement. Now they do not warn of a planet threatened by too much man-made heat but rather by too little man-made kilowattage.
They believe artificial intelligence will prove as transformative as the Industrial Revolution. But to win the AI revolution will require vast increases in electricity production, of up to a staggering 100 gigawatts a year of additional capacity.
Such enormous demand—to build the equivalent of a hundred huge power plants per year—is far beyond the ability of “renewables” alone.
Instead, the only solution is an “all of the above” strategy of building more nuclear, natural gas, clean-coal, wind, and solar generation plants.
Two, ascendant China’s massive arms buildup and its bullying Belt and Road imperialism have finally put international “climate accords” into question.
Even the environmentalist King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has recently let it slip that he is troubled by why Europe sandbagged its own economy by shutting down its formerly efficient nuclear and fossil fuel plants. He reminded the world that the European Union nations contribute only six percent of the planet’s carbon emissions.
The West finally realizes that a cynical China has been playing it for years by funding green propaganda abroad.
Indeed, Beijing guilt-tripped Europe and the U.S. on global warming while it exported billions of dollars of cheap wind and solar generation products—often below its own cost of production.
Meanwhile, China plows ahead, building two to three coal and nuclear generation plants per month.
Under the propagandistic banner of “climate change,” China hopes that its Western competitors invest in inefficient and high-priced renewable energy. Meanwhile, its own expanding fossil fuel and nuclear industries ensure it will enjoy global price advantages in both trade and armament.
Three, the global climate crisis shakedown has become shameless. Formerly third-world nations now demand from the West hundreds of billions of dollars in “climate reparations” for carbon emissions released decades ago.
Yes, the West burned more oil and gas. But it also provided the rest of the world with carbon-fueled cars, factories, and modern consumer goods.
Green critics fail to concede that almost all global technology and modern industrial products come from either the West or westernizing copycats.
Four, energy production is at the nexus of conflict and can mean life or death for nations. To the degree the United States and its allies produce lots of natural gas and oil, they can protect the West from crippling embargoes and cutoffs from anti-Western energy producers.
During the Ukraine War, America exported liquefied natural gas to Europe, not solar panels or turbine blades. And it will be increasingly essential to keep Europe afloat as Russia turns off its export spigot.
When oil and natural gas are affordable, thanks to the fossil fuel production of Western nations, then illiberal and bellicose oil-exporting countries like Iran and Russia have less money to spend on aggressive wars or subsidizing their global terrorists.
Five, science is not fossilized in amber but dynamic and changing.
Increasingly, climatologists are no longer afraid of being bullied by global green scolds.
They point out that while accurate temperature recording is only a couple of centuries old, the planet has been here for over 4 billion years. And it reveals plenty of evidence of natural climate volatility.
Extreme heat and cold spells lasted in nature for centuries—and did so long before humans appeared, little more than 300,000 years ago.
So, the public is sick of pseudoscientific activists peddling their doom-and-gloom wares for their own particular and profitable agendas.
Elite green gurus often buy seaside estates while warning of devastating tidal waves to come. They fly in carbon-spewing private jets while ordering the poor to turn down their air conditioners.
In sum, carbon is dead, long live carbon!
It was a lie the whole time. It was about money and power, not climate or carbon. I worked in that industry and couldn’t believe that people truly believed this nonsense. They were the ones who received the Covid jab, but likely also contracted Covid-19. Dumbasses everywhere.

The culture war on masculinity
The War On Men Is A War On Truth
Masculinity, in its healthiest form, is a stabilizing force for truth, clarity, responsibility, and protection. It built the West, defended it, and preserved its freedoms. But today, the characteristics that once stabilized society are being recast as threats to it.
It is the liberal women who lead this, because they can’t get their way without demonizing those who are in their path to power. They don’t deserve the power that masculinity earned. They don’t deserve much past the blue hair and nose rings.

Karl Marx famously wrote in his 1848 Communist Manifesto, “The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains,” and it was these unchained proletarians who elected Zohran Mamdani mayor of New York City, along with other socialists in municipal elections from Atlanta, Georgia to Portland, Oregon and cities in between. But the 2025 elections did more than sweep a surprising number of socialist politicians to power. They also revealed contradictions inherent to all leftist ideologies.
One big contradiction involves affordability, a major issue in the 2025 elections, particularly in terms of housing. But proletarians voting for socialists in the hopes of achieving the dream of homeownership don’t realize they’re voting for the kind of big government that’s already putting it out of reach.
A report by Murray Weidenbaum at Washington University in St. Louis found that in three surveyed locales—Colorado, St. Louis, and New Jersey—the cost of government regulations added $1,500 to $2,500 to the price of an average house in the mid-1970s. By 2011, government mandates increased home prices by $65,224. Over the next decade, government made homes $93,870 more expensive. Socialists decry the high price of housing, but intrusive government contradicts them by burdening homebuyers with escalating regulatory costs, and socialists are not prone to surrendering government control of people’s lives.
In New York City, affordability provides an additional contradiction. When someone complains about life being too expensive, they might consider economizing or relocating to a less expensive place. But Mamdani voters do not want to economize or move; they want to continue drinking $8 lattes and living in Greenwich Village. Their belief system demands the world adapt to them rather than adapting to the world around them. It is a belief that inverts Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, which is foundational to the belief system of true proletarians.
Then there’s the contradiction of what constitutes a proletarian in the first place. According to Britannica, Marx characterized proletarians as “workers who were engaged in industrial production and whose chief source of income was derived from the sale of their labor power.” This definition fits every working American; if you have a job, Marx says you’re a proletarian.
This definition might apply to someone like Elon Musk, who also sells his labor to make money. But some of Musk’s labor is used to build and operate factories which employ other proletarians. What we’re left with is an ideology in which proletarians who work only for themselves are the selfless good guys, but those who work for themselves while providing employment for others are selfish members of the bourgeoisie, the enemy of proletarians. It defies logic.
History shows any form of Marxism has never worked, yet here we go again. Why are we playing a home game this time? Obama?

They lied about Gain of Function. They lied about the vaccine being safe and effective for preventing Covid-19. They lied that it would prevent the spread. They lied that masks would work. They lied that you had to be jabbed to keep your job.
Now, the test results show that the PCR test to detect Covid-19 was just as big of a lie. The results were fake and mostly wrong.
We all remember mid-2020 through all of 2021 when every news channel, it seemed, had a running scoreboard with the daily infections and daily deaths allegedly caused by COVID-19, remaining pinned as a sidebar even when the stories being covered were wholly independent from the ‘pandemic’.
The entire COVID-19 hysteria was exacerbated by widespread testing at the urging of global non-profits and non-governmental organizations and at the U.S. taxpayers’ expense. So long as the Mockingbird Media could increment those “Daily Infected” numbers each night for primetime television.
Scientific organizations such as Science.org criticized the U.S. for inadequate testing in late February 2020, comparing the 1.6 million tests-per-week capability of China with just “459 tests since the epidemic began” in the United States.
That publication went as far as quoting an In-Q-Tel employee, Luciana Borio, saying that the “CDC normally ‘gets the ball rolling’ with diagnostics because it has the expertise and the biosafety laboratories to handle dangerous novel level pathogens. In-Q-Tel was the “first government-sponsored venture capital firm” chartered by the Central Intelligence Agency.
A PubMed editorial in December 2020 stated that, “The number of positive molecular diagnostic tests, which are largely based on real-time (RT) PCR assays that detect genetic material of the causative agent severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), still forms the basis for reporting both symptomatic and asymptomatic cases worldwide.”
The Nobel Prize-winning biochemist who invented the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in 1983 had previously warned several times that PCR “can find almost anything in anybody”. Of course these statements were quickly “fact-checked” and “debunked” by outlets like USAToday and The Journal, mainly claiming the cited quotes were “missing context” and that Mullis was specifically referring to the HIV virus and that “health experts say PCR tests are accurate and reliable in detecting COVID-19.”
But a new study out of Germany suggests the testing and dramatic sidebar counters were (mostly) wrong.
Last month, Frontiers in Epidemiology released a peer-reviewed study that obliterated the COVID-19 infection claims that were promulgated to the masses via mainstream news ‘sidebars’ and daily reports on new infections.
According to the report:
We analyzed the ALM-observed week-resolved time courses of test-positive fractions of PCR and IgG tests… Specifically, we show that scaling and shifting the cumulative sum of previous PCR-positive fractions effectively reproduces the time course of the IgG-positive fraction. The value of 0.14 found for the fitted scaling parameter means that only 14% of those who were tested PCR-positively actually became infected with SARS-CoV-2. This parameter fit further implies that a quarter of the German population already carried IgG antibodies from natural infections in their blood at the turn of the year from 2020 to 2021.
The Summary and Conclusion states that:
The principal finding from our analysis of ALM data on both nucleic acid amplification (PCR from mucosal swabs) and IgG antibody (serological) testing for SARS-CoV-2 in Germany between mid-March 2020 and summer 2021 is this: only 14%—and possibly even fewer, down to 10%—of individuals identified as SARS-CoV-2-positive via PCR testing were actually infected, as evidenced by detectable IgG antibodies.
…This evidence-based and representative serological signal was disregarded in favor of relying on the weekly absolute number of positive PCR tests—the so-called “7-day incidence” (“Sieben-Tage-Inzidenz”). Unequivocally, this definition of incidence yields a scientifically meaningless figure in the context of infection dynamics, as it depends entirely on the arbitrary (or imposed) number of PCR tests performed. It is therefore not an objective indicator of epidemiological reality, but an administratively imposed figure—more reflective of political will than scientific rigor. Yet, incomprehensibly, this 7-day incidence metric was even incorporated into the German Infection Protection Act (“Infektionsschutzgesetz”) as the quantitative foundation for imposing highly restrictive public health measures. The methodological shortcomings and institutional processes that enabled its elevation to policy status demand critical re-evaluation—not only to prevent similar errors in the future, but to restore trust in evidence-based public health governance.
This German study tears apart the force-fed narrative. The PCR numbers were as fake. They were used to scare people and justify draconian lockdowns that greatly increased the financial gaps in society, hammering down the middle and lower class while creating exorbitant wealth for the top corporate oligarchs.
None of us who didn’t take it regret that we aren’t jabbed.

The Democratic base is in an unhinged uproar this morning after a handful of Senate Democrats cut a face-saving ‘deal’ to reopen the government.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Senate broke the Chuck Schumer-led filibuster last night after eight Senate Democrats caved and joined Republicans in their bid to pass a revamped plan to end the shutdown.
The Motion to Invoke Cloture on the House-passed continuing resolution was passed on the 15th attempt by a vote of 60-40. Republicans plan to amend the bill and attach three full-year-long appropriations bills.
Seven Democrats and one Independent (Angus King) who caucuses with the party joined Republicans and passed the resolution. Rand Paul was the lone ‘Republican’ to vote no.
Here were the Dem Caucus members who caved:
Angus King of Maine
John Fetterman of Pennsylvania
Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada
Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire
Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire
Jacky Rosen of Nevada
Tim Kaine of Virginia
Dick Durbin of Illinois
The House will return to session on Wednesday to vote on the Senate-passed funding package.

From the Enlightenment salons of London and Edinburgh—where Locke defended religious liberty, Hume championed reason, and Mill enshrined free speech as the bulwark of progress—Britain once stood as the global beacon of true liberalism.

Today, however, mosques outnumber churches in major cities, no-go zones appear in police reports, and citizens are jailed for X posts while riots erupt over immigrant crime.
How did this occur?
The following 20 theories, drawn from academic studies, parliamentary debates, and public discourse, explain how successive UK and EU governments permitted mass Islamic migration—at the expense of its own constituents.

As Britain’s historic liberties erode under the weight of unintegrated multiculturalism, the United States stands at the same crossroads.
Open borders without assimilation, the elites’ denial of cultural incompatibility, “suicidal empathy” (as author Gad Saad calls it), and the weaponization of “tolerance” against native traditions have already begun to mirror Europe’s path.
If America ignores Europe’s lessons—when a nation like the UK that once ruled a quarter of the globe now polices prayer and prosecutes memes—it will find itself at the same crossroads.

It would be easy to pick on the new socialist Guvner of NYC, Mamdani, but he hasn’t done much other than talk about how he’s going to destroy the city, and then the country.

No, the assholes are the ones who turned out in record numbers to vote for him. It’s been less than 25 years since the planes were flown into the World Trade Center buildings by American-hating and Antisemitic Muslims, kind of like Mamdani.
Combine that with the fact that socialism has failed every time it has been tried along with the generally nasty NY attitude and it’s the voters who get named the assholes of the week.
SNAP corrodes self-reliance, burdens taxpayers, and erodes civic character—Congress should use the shutdown to end the program and restore voluntary charity and consent of the governed.
The new/young/dissident right, whatever you want to call them, no longer even pretends to want to undo the state. To the contrary, they love its power, wealth, and honor. They want a share of the $10.5 trillion it collects in taxes every year. And why shouldn’t they? Their fathers have explained that the state is immortal and unbeatable. It can print, borrow, and tax money forever. The planners that guide our economy are invincible. The mechanism will never stop working.
The young have taken the faith of their fathers to heart.
They see clearly that the guiding mythologies of our regime are fake. Everything is inverted: our “laws” are really commands, our “freedom” is slavery, and our “justice” is injustice. “Principles” are just a magic spell you utter to get your opponents to do what you want.
The welfare, warfare, and surveillance state go together. Its supporters are all hypocrites. The architects of the Iraq War denounce Russia for aggression. The defenders of vaccine mandates insist on “bodily autonomy” for abortions. Supporters of the “rule of law” praise lockdowns.
The rank lying that characterizes the liberal world order will lead to its downfall. Down our present path lies political violence and terror as new factions awaken to the possibility of seizing the power of the state for themselves. The only way out is to raze the welfare-warfare state to the ground. We—a real We—must all choose peace. We must all lay down our arms; we must all renounce our claims to the property and liberty of others.
We must abolish the welfare-warfare state. We must reject its view of justice. We must start over. Eliminating SNAP is a good place to start. In the end, however, we must eliminate it all. We must refound our regime on the actual, literal consent of the governed.
We must rediscover what it means to be a citizen. We must stop lying.
There is no doubt that such a task will be difficult. But to give in to despair and resignation means paving the road to civil war. It means knowingly chartering our course into the abyss.
This is not the only option. We can, and should, choose otherwise.

Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson warned on Fox News Tuesday that the Democratic Party’s embrace of figures like Zohran Mamdani signals a deeper ideological shift.
Mamdani is a self-avowed socialist who built his campaign around wealth redistribution, expansive government programs, and class-based politics. Appearing on “The Ingraham Angle,” Hanson said modern Democrats led by progressives such as Mamdani and Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez push policies that contradict human nature and repress people.
“Historically, socialists always come in after capitalists have made prosperity, and then they offer and improve prosperity,” Hanson told Laura Ingraham. “And it’s contrary to human nature. People like initiative. They like pride in their property. Some people like to work a lot and get compensated.”
Hanson said that when the state controls innovation and productivity, it inevitably crushes dissent and freedom.
WATCH:
“It gives you that freedom of opportunity. And then the society at large benefits, Laura, from all these millions of agendas and ideas that improve, that people are free to innovate and to take experiments and risk. But when the state monopolizes all of that, it’s contrary to human nature, and then it has to be repressive,” Hanson said. “So all of these social experiments, even if they’re democratic, they end up repressive. At the worst form, it’s no accident that the greatest mass murderers in history were Mao [Zedong] and [Joseph] Stalin, 30 million, 60 million, and they were radical communists, and even people like Hitler, National Socialist Party.”
Hanson added that every socialist system creates a privileged elite exempt from its own policies.
“Talented people who can help the economy, who are successful or demonized, they flee. People who want things for nothing come in. There’s open borders,” Hanson added. “They destroy personal liberty, and they stamp out any dissent or criticism. And there’s always an elite, the billionaire Castro brothers, Chavez and Maduro. They always are never subject to their consequences, their ideology. Here in California, we are becoming socialist.”
Mamdani, who was elected mayor of New York City Tuesday, said he will push for sweeping economic reforms — including a $30 minimum wage, city-operated grocery stores, and higher taxes on what he described as “richer and whiter” neighborhoods.
New Yorkers, your quality of life just took a turn, probably for the worse. I’m glad I don’t live there. I’m pretty sure a lot of people will also not be living there once his polices kick in and the city crumbles into California like decay. Just don’t come to my state and ruin it also.
Mamadani wants communism. The voters ignored the fact that it’s never worked and workers are the ones who suffer……and starve
If you do everything you can to make it difficult to work, it will go somewhere else. It’s like space that abhors a vacuum. As you’ll read, it’s not just Germany
Automotive giant Stellantis is expanding its U.S. operations. Any sign of an investment turnaround in Germany, which Chancellor Friedrich Merz touted just weeks ago, is nowhere to be seen.
Investment Freeze at Stellantis – in Germany at Least
The European carmaker, home to brands like Opel, Peugeot, and Citroën, is turning away from its European sites. On Monday, Stellantis announced it will invest $13 billion in the U.S. over the next four years, increasing American production by 50%. The expansion will create 5,000 new jobs across plants in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.

The concrete impact on German production remains unclear. Stellantis offered no comments on potential layoffs, but it’s safe to assume significant parts of production will shift to the U.S. in the coming years. High energy costs and U.S. tariffs likely influenced this decision.
CEO Antonio Filosa emphasized that this largest investment in company history will create American jobs and systematically expand U.S. manufacturing. The U.S. will now be Stellantis’ top priority.
Germany Avoided
Stellantis’ damning verdict, especially for its German production sites, is just the tip of the iceberg in an accelerated capital flight from Germany. Major German automakers are increasingly relocating production abroad: BMW to Debrecen, Hungary—and Mercedes-Benz to Kecskemét, Hungary.
Industry is abandoning Germany. The manufacture of energy-intensive products, electrical engineering, machinery, and raw materials is no longer profitable under current conditions. It seems almost comical—if it weren’t so tragic—when Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche, noting Germany’s lack of competitiveness, forms a task force to develop strategies out of the crisis.
A quick ten-second search on „Grok“ could illuminate the issues—the problems are already well known.
The Green Deal Remains the Golden Calf
Meanwhile, Chancellor Merz made clear during the EU summit that all options are being considered—except tackling the root cause: the grotesque European climate policy that largely triggered this industrial collapse.
The reflexive defense of Brussels’ climate consensus under all circumstances shows Berlin fully understands what’s driving Germany’s economic collapse. Yet the government pins its last hope on a massive debt package that will pour roughly €50 billion in additional annual spending across the country. Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil expressed hope at the UN summit that private industry will invest now that the state is taking the lead.
The response should be: far from it, Mr. Minister. You misread economic reality. The fact that U.S. chipmaker Intel rejected a €10 billion subsidy to set up in Magdeburg shows the problems run much deeper—and cannot be fixed with handouts. Keynesian “voodoo economics” has reached its limits. Germany is on sale; industrial investors have already passed judgment.
Rust Belt on the Horizon
Political ignorance will cost dearly. Losing the industrial base triggers massive societal distortions. Recent industrial history provides several illustrative examples: the decline of the English textile industry, Argentina’s machinery sector—or closer to home, the collapse of coal and steel in the Ruhr.
Left behind are true Rust Belts, as in the U.S. Detroit, once America’s wealthiest city, fell as its auto industry collapsed, allowing other hubs, particularly in Japan and China, to rise.
The industrial foundation is key to understanding economy and prosperity. Statistically, one industrial job creates four or five additional jobs in supply chains, services, and consumption. Industrial jobs are typically above-average paying; losing them sparks a chain reaction of social and economic decay.
UK as a Case Study
The U.K. provides a textbook case. Once at the peak of global industrial output, the empire financed massive overseas infrastructure projects. Imperial overstretch followed, investments collapsed, and industrial decline set in. Other industrial centers, notably the U.S., rose.
Left behind was the City of London: a global financial hub surrounded by a powerful insurance architecture across former empire trade routes. A dual society emerged: the finance center exercising global influence, and “Little Britain,” trapped in poverty. Could Germany face the same fate, minus colonial flows of finance and power?
Time Window Closing
Currently, around 5.4 million Germans still work in industry—autos, machinery, electrical engineering. Since 2018, their number has fallen by roughly 250,000. Industrial output has dropped by an average of 23%, representing at least €35 billion in lost annual value creation.
There is still time to counteract—so far, mostly lower-value production has been outsourced or shut. There is still time to preserve both Germany’s industrial and social foundations in urban regions.
Yet deindustrialization now shows on the municipal level. Regions dependent on autos are seeing local finances collapse amid the catastrophe facing German carmakers. Too much responsibility is centralized; now funds for schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, and hospitals are missing. Cities like Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, once automotive strongholds, are fiscally drained.
With industry also disappears private patronage. Germany is losing its millionaires and economically successful elite faster than ever. This year, at least 400 wealthy individuals will likely leave, removing over €2 billion in private capital.
Last year, €64.5 billion in corporate direct investment was shifted abroad—much of it to the U.S. This is capital translating directly into economic activity, not stock market circulation.
History teaches: if elites lose faith in a society or business location, social crisis inevitably grows from that vacuum.
I was all set to be drafted when the war ended. The win streak for the US was over because of the media.

He didn’t know that Walter lied, and we could have been months away from stopping communism and saving millions of lives. After America pulled out, those we were protecting were murdered. It is the same story every time Communism takes over.
When my friends came home, they were treated horribly by the anti-war crowd who believed the same lies that LBJ did. I didn’t get drafted and moved on in life.
UNTIL NOW – We may have turned that Loss into a Win
Half a century after America’s withdrawal, Vietnam has quietly vindicated U.S. sacrifice—abandoning Marxism for nationalism and embracing the very ideals America once defended.
Over 50 years since America’s withdrawal from the Vietnam War, history has legitimized and vindicated its sacrifice in the Vietnam War.
While few Americans have noticed, Vietnam’s new General Secretary of the Communist Party, To Lam, has replaced Marxist-Leninism as the Party’s governing ideology with something more authentically Vietnamese: Truong Ton Dan Toc, or “Vietnamese nationalism.”
That is a bombshell. Hanoi has just abandoned its Communist ideology, which governed it since 1954 and sustained it in its wars against the United States and its ally South Vietnam, and with its Communist neighbors, Cambodia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
Marxist-Leninism came to the Vietnamese from France. Thus, Communist Vietnam was actually a neocolonial state, its ideology imported from Europe to rule the Vietnamese, first in the North and, after 1975, the entire country. Now freed from the yoke of Communism, the Vietnamese have returned to the nationalism that was theirs all along.
In his speech on April 27, 2025, To Lam presented his party as one dedicated to Vietnamese nationalism, not Marxist-Leninism, saying that honor will always be given to those who sacrificed for the Vietnamese people’s “happiness and prosperity” and “their truong ton and development.” He added that, today, all Vietnamese—no matter where they live—have the same ancestral mother, Au Co, and are equally “children of dragons and grandchildren of angels,” and affirmed that all Vietnamese—no matter where they live—should contribute to the future of “their” people, not to the imposition of an ideology.
To Lam called for a new Vietnam, for a new era in Vietnamese history, one possessing “peace, wealth, civilized education, development, and pure Vietnameseness.”
A few days later, on May 4, 2025, the Politburo of the Vietnamese Communist Party adopted Resolution 68, putting private enterprise at the center of economic development. The resolution gave responsibility for national wealth creation to self-management, self-effort, and self-empowerment. The rights of private property will be guaranteed and protected. The Vietnamese state will henceforth “serve and support” private enterprise and not contradict the “principles of the market.”
Finally, on October 6, 2025, in remarks opening the 14th session of the Central Committee, General Secretary To Lam made no mention of Marxist-Leninism and only one passing reference to “markets oriented towards socialism.” Rather, again, he emphasized “strategic self-mastery, self-effort, and self-empowerment” as the Party’s chosen path to a prosperous Vietnam.
In his remarks closing the session, To Lam doubled down on his new vision for a non-Communist, truly Vietnamese Vietnam. Democracy must be guaranteed with discipline and transparency, with elections as broad-based politics to earn the trust of the people. Private enterprise must be pushed forward for national development. The benefit of the people must become the objective of the government’s new economic policy. Finally, dogma, meaning turgid Communist dogma, must be eliminated.
In short, To Lam’s vision for Vietnam has no substantial difference from that vision of our South Vietnamese allies half a century ago.
More importantly for Americans today, Lam’s vision is not dissimilar from the moral orientation of American policy towards South Vietnam. It was not by coincidence that in October 1954, President Eisenhower identified just such Vietnamese nationalism as providing principled justification for his decision to defend South Vietnam against Communist aggression. Eisenhower wrote to South Vietnam’s then-prime minister that the Saigon government “would, I hope, be so responsive to the nationalist aspirations of its people, so enlightened in purpose and effective in performance, that it will be respected both at home and abroad and discourage any who might wish to impose a foreign ideology on your free people.”
Thus, the Communists in Hanoi today have adopted the values that the Americans defended, the ancestral values of the Vietnamese people.
In the end, Vietnamese nationalism won the war against Communism. Hanoi’s war against South Vietnam, which took the lives of over 1.5 million Vietnamese, was never necessary but was driven by the hyper-aggressive ideology of Communism. Despite the long ideological chokehold Communism held over the Vietnamese, it was a far weaker force than Vietnamese nationalism.
Beyond Vietnam, there are two important implications of Vietnam’s evolution.
First, Vietnam’s path may serve as a model for the PRC. Perhaps one day soon, China may undergo a similar path, shedding the evils of a Communist government for one reflective of the wishes and the political culture and history of the Chinese people.
Second, we Americans can now hold our heads high about the Vietnam War: we were on the right side of history after all. We knew who was right and who was wrong from the start. The American experience in Vietnam was completely in accord with the broader American experience in history: we are a very good people, brave, loyal, and selfless. While the Vietnam War contains countless tragedies, perhaps none was greater for Americans than the mistaken belief that it was a senseless war or one fought in opposition to Vietnamese nationalism. It was fought for the Vietnamese people against an evil ideology, and ultimately, victory was won.
Those who like to trash America will. The Vietnam Vets didn’t get any respect for their sacrifice. Not that this makes it worth it, but it’s good to know they were vindicated.
Those in NYC should take note that once again, Communism failed. They are zero for life every time they’ve tried. It transfers wealth and power to the dictators and death to the people.

LONDON—In recent days, King Charles III moved decisively to shut down a slow-burning scandal that threatened to tarnish not only his reign but that of his son Prince William.
For over a decade, the former friendship between Charles’s younger brother Andrew and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein generated negative headlines, embarrassing the royal family. Andrew had long denied he abused an American teenage girl introduced to him by Epstein decades ago, but a drumbeat of fresh disclosures in recent weeks brought the scandal back to Britain’s front pages, sparking fresh public disapproval and complaints from lawmakers about the man 8th in line to the throne.
Editors note: There is no pussy in the world worth this, even the smallest part of this. Only an ego that thought he was untouchable caused him to lose control of his dick.
After several days of negotiations, Charles and his brother finally agreed on terms Thursday afternoon, according to royal aides, and within hours the news was made public: Prince Andrew would be stripped of his royal status and relegated to simply Mr. Mountbatten Windsor. He would also lose the mansion where he lived and paid no rent. In exchange, Charles would pay for his brother to live in a far more modest house on the family’s holiday estate of Sandringham.
Despite the move, the debacle is likely to hang over the family for years to come. There has always been salacious gossip about the royal family, and misbehaving royals, but this time it felt much worse.
“I don’t remember a scandal like this,” says Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty magazine. “It’s not going to make it go away, the more people talk about it the more people get involved,” Seward said, adding the last time the monarchy was hit with this level of turmoil was when Charles divorced his first wife, Diana.
The demotion could, however, take the oxygen out of those who criticize the palace for being too lenient in their treatment of Andrew, royal watchers say. “I’m not sure it will completely satisfy the public disquiet but it’s at least something,” Andrew Lownie, the historian and author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” told the BBC.
Traditionally, the royal family has a policy of not complaining or explaining when faced with scandal. For years a mixture of protocol and family ties made the monarchy reluctant to fully swing the ax on Andrew, royal experts say. The dashing former helicopter pilot was widely considered his mother’s favorite son and courtiers said Queen Elizabeth II didn’t want to take steps to fully humiliate him. Stripping royal titles was something reserved for those who committed near treasonable offenses or no longer considered part of the extended royal clan.
This position changed after Charles came to the throne. The monarch, who is 76 and continues to fight cancer, is expected to have a relatively short reign during which his main legacy is to bequeath a monarchy on a strong footing to his popular son Prince William, who has long urged the palace to take more decisive action against his disgraced uncle.
It is uncertain what life now awaits Andrew. He is expected to leave his 30-room mansion on the Windsor Estate in the coming months. He has lived there with his ex wife Sarah Ferguson, but she won’t be joining him at Sandringham, leaving her to fend for herself.
The windswept rural Sandringham Estate is a far cry from Windsor, which is close to London. It remains to be seen whether Andrew, who is used to having a full staff and valet, will now be expected to cook his own meals. The palace has simply said that the king will provide for his brother from his private funds.
Two recent events made Andrew’s position untenable. His accuser Virginia Giuffre died by suicide this year, and has posthumously published a memoir in recent weeks detailing how Andrew allegedly had sex with her on three separate occasions, including during an orgy with Epstein. The book was filled with tawdry details, such as an anecdote about how Andrew licked the arches of her feet and shared a bath with her. Secondly, the British press published emails that showed Andrew was emailing Epstein in 2011, well after the royal had claimed he had cut ties with him.
Their parents were cousins, so I’m not surprised at the behavior (or that this is all we know so far). Let’s not forget that Harry gave up a lifetime of fame and money, yachts, Castles, Servants, and the life of luxury, because his American wife felt offended. She went in looking to be offended, and Harry was stupid enough to go along with it and then trash his country. King Chuckles promotes Islam and the climate hoax. A lot of people can’t wait for William to take over. The Queen was so much better than this lot.
I believe the British word is wanker, although on this one it could be plonker.

How Safe Is Your Country?
These Are The World’s Safest (And Least Safe) Countries – what do the least safe have in common?
When they were trying to pass the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, Bill Clinton talked to the Democrats. He told them you may not like it, but it’s the chance to get our foot in the door that will never be closed (my version of his words, but accurate as to his intent). In other words, we’ll work on it later to achieve what we really want, regardless of the initial outcome, just pass the damn thing.
Read this and judge for yourself if the promises came true and did Obama lie to the American public to sell it. Let’s not forget, if you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.
In July 2012, when campaigning for reelection, Obama repeated his assertion that—once implemented—the Affordable Care Act would reduce prices.
Running for his first term in 2008, then-Sen. Obama said he would sign a health care bill in his first term as president “that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premium by up to $2,500 a year.”
In 2012, he spoke similarly about the law that had passed—with no Republican votes in Congress—but had not yet gone into effect.
“You should know that once we have fully implemented, you’re going to be able to buy insurance through a pool so that you can get the same good rates as a group that if you’re an employee at a big company you can get right now, which means your premiums will go down,” Obama said, when speaking in Cincinnati campaigning for a second term.
In 2013, when implementation of the Affordable Care Act began, the average premium paid by consumers in the individual market was $244 per month. By 2022, that cost had soared to $568 per month, an increase of 133%, noted a Heritage Foundation report from August 2024, “Key Health Care Trends: Nationally and in Each of the States.”
“The average deductibles for bronze-level plans sold on the exchanges increased by 40 percent between 2014 and 2024,” the Heritage report explains. “For self-only coverage, the average deductible was $5,094 in 2014, but is $7,144 in 2024, while the average deductible for family coverage has increased from $10,278 in 2014 to $14,310 in 2024.”
In recent years, 15 states have obtained federal waivers from some Obamacare provisions, which enabled insurers in the waivered states to reduce premiums.
The per-capita average monthly cost of individual market coverage had more than doubled in 40 states. In Missouri, costs had risen by 213%; in Alabama, by 309%; and in West Virginia, up 323%, according to the August 2024 Heritage Foundation report.
Obama asserted in October 2013 that the Affordable Care Act would create a more competitive insurance marketplace.
“What we’ve done is essentially create a competition where there wasn’t competition before,” Obama said. “We created these big group plans, and now insurers are really interested in getting your business. And so, insurers have created new health care plans with more choices to be made available through these marketplaces.”
But two-thirds of states, or 34 states, and the District of Columbia, had fewer insurers offering exchange coverage in 2024 than a decade earlier, before the Affordable Care Act was implemented.
On the slight upside, eight states had more insurers offering plans on the Healthcare.gov exchanges in 2024 than they had before the Obamacare law was passed, while eight others have the same number.
For 2026, some 183 qualified health plans are available on the Obamacare exchanges, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Wednesday. Of the 30 states using HealthCare.gov, 19 have more plans than the previous year, according to CMS.
That’s still substantially less than before Obamacare was implemented. In 2013, almost 400 insurers were offering coverage in individual markets at the state level before the ACA was implemented. Eight states had only one insurer providing insurance.
In 2026, 95% of enrollees will have access to three or more qualified health plan issuers. That’s down marginally from 96% in 2025, but an improvement from 68% in 2020, according to CMS. Fewer than 1% of 2026 enrollees have only one available issuer on the exchanges.
“Any potential benefits of competition were offset, or more than offset, by a subsidy design that really insulates enrollees from a lot of the cost, because the subsidies go up as premiums go up. That’s part of why you have seen the increase,” Ed Haislmaier, a senior research fellow with the DeVos Center for Human Flourishing at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal.
Obama said in September 2009, “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits, either now or in the future.”
The initial score by the Congressional Budget Office in 2010 estimated the legislation would reduce the federal deficit. However, the cost of Medicaid expansion was higher than projected, as was the cost of subsidies, which was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The expansion of the COVID-19 era subsidies were passed as part of the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act and extended as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act. The COVID-19 emergency formally ended 2-1/2 years ago.
The CBO found in 2024 that extending the COVID-era subsidies permanently would result in a $380 billion cost increase to taxpayers over the next 10 years. It would also likely mean 6.9 million individuals would be added to the Obamacare exchanges—receiving an average subsidy of $5,370 each. But of that 6.9 million, at least 3.5 million would be shifting from existing insurance plans such as employer plans, according CBO.
Before the COVID-19 subsidies, Obamacare enrollment was stable. In 2019, 13.7 million individuals drew a subsidy. By just the first quarter of 2025, that reached 26.7 million—nearly double.
“Obamacare is not affordable, and has narrowed network plans to exclude certain doctors and hospitals,” Brian Blase, president of Paragon Health Institute, a health care think tank, told The Daily Signal. “The only people purchasing are for the most part getting giant subsidies. It’s good for the health insurance companies. There used to be a guaranteed customer base with the individual mandate, which was eliminated. But it’s still a heavily regulated market, which decreases competition, and they receive massive subsidies.”
“The insurance reforms rest on everybody having access to coverage, and you also don’t do anything about the fact that taxpayers currently end up subsidizing the uninsured when they’re forced to go to the emergency room for care, to the tune of about a thousand bucks per family,” Obama said in March 2010. “You can’t get those savings if those people are still going to the emergency room.”
Almost 20 million newly eligible able-bodied adults enrolled in Medicaid from 2013 to 2023. That’s compared with Medicaid enrollment for children that increased by just 2.5 million, and for the elderly that increased by 1.2 million over the same 10-year span. The number of disabled enrollees over that period declined by 400,000, the Heritage Foundation report from August 2024 says.
Emergency room visits from the new Medicaid enrollees have increased, the Paragon Health Institute noted in a report last October.
“As a result of expansion, existing Medicaid enrollees have had more challenges obtaining doctor appointments,” the Paragon report says. “According to a 2019 meta-analysis, prior to expansion, Medicaid enrollees were half as likely as those with private insurance to get appointments, while they were only one-third as likely after expansion—a decline by one-third.”
From 2013 to 2023, Medicaid enrollment, as well as enrollment in the Children’s Health Insurance Program, soared overall from 61.1 million to 85.4 million.
Medicaid enrollment more than doubled over those 10 years in Alaska, Virginia, Oregon, and Nevada.

Seth Gruber, the founder of The White Rose Resistance, a pro-life nonprofit, refers to abortion as “the linchpin upon which the liberal establishment swings.” Therefore, he decided to prick the conscience of the church — particularly the American church — and galvanize it into action vis-à-vis the genocide of preborn babies. His new documentary with The Daily Wire, “The 1916 Project” (paywalled), is meant to do just that.
“The 1916 Project” does a deep dive into the historical context of the secular humanist revolution that led to the great Woke Revolution. The documentary centers on eugenicist Margaret Sanger and her opening of the first birth control clinic in 1916. He asks some salient questions, namely: How did we get to this “culture of death” that leftists have propped up as their way of life? How did we talk ourselves into the dehumanization of preborn babies? And just who is Margaret Sanger?
In order to understand where Sanger’s ideas originated, we need to go all the way back to Thomas Malthus, a preacher who believed that humanity was on the verge of a population bomb. Sound familiar?
Malthus’s ideas were heavily influential to Charles Darwin, who took the population bomb idea and minimized humans to animals in his theories of evolution. This led to the next step: If humans are animals, then like any other animal, they depend on the survival of the fittest.
It was a distant cousin of Darwin, Francis Galton, who took Darwin’s survival-of-the-fittest idea and transformed it into the fittest killing off the weak and deformed among us. Thus, modern eugenics was born.
This theory led to Havelock Ellis positing that if people were just animals and procreation should be controlled, then the purpose of sex must be for something else. That something else, he proposed, was exploration of the soul. His ideas heavily influenced both Sanger, who was a student and lover of his, and Alfred Kinsey, the materialistic sadist known as the father of the sexual revolution. From Kinsey’s ideas we get all of the Left’s justifications for various sexual perversions, ranging from pedophilia to transgenderism, as well as its notions of feminism, free love, abortion, gender ideology, critical race theory, and climate alarmism. These notions all make up the culture of death.
The ideas that we are fighting against today were borne of eugenics and materialistic gnosticism. And, more importantly, they were borne of the minds of those who wanted no God except themselves. To do that, they had to reduce human beings to animals and preborn babies to not yet a person.
Sanger was, until 2021, considered the patron saint of feminism. She believed that if women were to have “No Gods and No Masters,” their libido needed to be freed (like men’s), and the babies conceived from that freed libido needed to be done away with. (Hello, feminism.) It advanced two agendas — feminism and eugenics — which Sanger’s Planned Parenthood acolytes have always tried to downplay.
Sanger was driven by the idea of creating a “race of Thoroughbreds.” She viewed the existence of ill, insane, disabled, or mentally deficient people as a crime against humanity. She had a particular agenda against black Americans. She also viewed poverty and non-white status as being subhuman. In fact, she opened the first abortion clinic in Brownsville, New York. Why? Because that part of New York City had the highest population of the poor and immigrants (i.e., non-white people). Sanger’s clinic was only open for a few days before she was arrested, but it was long enough for her and her sister to administer hundreds of abortions.
As a devout eugenicist, Sanger actually shared office space with Madison Grant, whose The Passing of the Great Race was about how the white race was being overcome and blocked from glory by other races. Adolf Hitler called this book his “bible.”
Sanger had other connections to the Nazi movement. One of the founding board members of her American Birth Control League — which would one day become Planned Parenthood — wrote several books, including The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy and The Revolt Against Civilization: The Menace of the Under Man. This second title is where Heinrich Himmler got the idea for the untermensch (subhuman). Sanger’s great friend and adviser, Ernst Rüdin, helped shape the Nazi ideas about genetic cleansing — i.e., mass murder of undesirables.

This is a good breakdown of how it happened. It figures who was behind it. They can ruin everything they touch. Even my son says 9 out of 10 girls are not worth it because they make it that way.
Writer Helen Andrews just dropped a piece that’s getting a lot of buzz in conservative media. In her new piece, Helen argues that the rise of “wokeness” wasn’t born from Marxism, academia, or even Obama-era politics. That in itself had people shocked. Helen theorizes that it actually came from something way simpler… the quiet but steady feminization of America’s most powerful institutions.
Intrigued? Yes, so were we….
Andrews calls this cultural shift “The Great Feminization,” and her theory flips a lot of earlier assumptions on their head. Helen pinpoints this shift back to the moment Larry Summers was pushed out of Harvard back in 2005 for suggesting that men and women might have different skills in science. Helen believes that was the spark that ignited the entire woke era… when emotional outrage replaced rational debate and these elite institutions began enforcing left-wing ideology through feelings instead of facts.
Andrews backs up her argument with data that shows how back in the 2010s, women became the majority in nearly every elite profession. From law and medicine to media and academia, the ladies began running the show. Helen says once that shift happened, the entire vibe changed: empathy over logic, safety over risk, and comfort over competition.
In 2019, I read an article about Larry Summers and Harvard that changed the way I look at the world. The author, writing under the pseudonym “J. Stone,” argued that the day Larry Summers resigned as president of Harvard University marked a turning point in our culture. The entire “woke” era could be extrapolated from that moment, from the details of how Summers was cancelled and, most of all, who did the cancelling: women.
The basic facts of the Summers case were familiar to me. On January 14, 2005, at a conference on “Diversifying the Science and Engineering Workforce,” Larry Summers gave a talk that was supposed to be off the record. In it, he said that female underrepresentation in hard sciences was partly due to “different availability of aptitude at the high end” as well as taste differences between men and women “not attributable to socialization.” Some female professors in attendance were offended and sent his remarks to a reporter, in defiance of the off-the-record rule. The ensuing scandal led to a no-confidence vote by the Harvard faculty and, eventually, Summers’s resignation.
The essay argued that it wasn’t just that women had cancelled the president of Harvard; it was that they’d cancelled him in a very feminine way. They made emotional appeals rather than logical arguments. “When he started talking about innate differences in aptitude between men and women, I just couldn’t breathe because this kind of bias makes me physically ill,” said Nancy Hopkins, a biologist at MIT. Summers made a public statement clarifying his remarks, and then another, and then a third, with the apology more insistent each time. Experts chimed in to declare that everything Summers had said about sex differences was within the scientific mainstream. These rational appeals had no effect on the mob hysteria.
This cancellation was feminine, the essay argued, because all cancellations are feminine. Cancel culture is simply what women do whenever there are enough of them in a given organization or field. That is the Great Feminization thesis, which the same author later elaborated upon at book length: Everything you think of as “wokeness” is simply an epiphenomenon of demographic feminization.
The explanatory power of this simple thesis was incredible. It really did unlock the secrets of the era we are living in. Wokeness is not a new ideology, an outgrowth of Marxism, or a result of post-Obama disillusionment. It is simply feminine patterns of behavior applied to institutions where women were few in number until recently. How did I not see it before?
Possibly because, like most people, I think of feminization as something that happened in the past before I was born. When we think about women in the legal profession, for example, we think of the first woman to attend law school (1869), the first woman to argue a case before the Supreme Court (1880), or the first female Supreme Court Justice (1981).
A much more important tipping point is when law schools became majority female, which occurred in 2016, or when law firm associates became majority female, which occurred in 2023. When Sandra Day O’Connor was appointed to the high court, only 5 percent of judges were female. Today women are 33 percent of the judges in America and 63 percent of the judges appointed by President Joe Biden.
The same trajectory can be seen in many professions: a pioneering generation of women in the 1960s and ’70s; increasing female representation through the 1980s and ’90s; and gender parity finally arriving, at least in the younger cohorts, in the 2010s or 2020s. In 1974, only 10 percent of New York Times reporters were female. The New York Times staff became majority female in 2018 and today the female share is 55 percent.
Medical schools became majority female in 2019. Women became a majority of the college-educated workforce nationwide in 2019. Women became a majority of college instructors in 2023. Women are not yet a majority of the managers in America but they might be soon, as they are now 46 percent. So the timing fits. Wokeness arose around the same time that many important institutions tipped demographically from majority male to majority female.
The substance fits, too. Everything you think of as wokeness involves prioritizing the feminine over the masculine: empathy over rationality, safety over risk, cohesion over competition. Other writers who have proposed their own versions of the Great Feminization thesis, such as Noah Carl or Bo Winegard and Cory Clark, who looked at feminization’s effects on academia, offer survey data showing sex differences in political values. One survey, for example, found that 71 percent of men said protecting free speech was more important than preserving a cohesive society, and 59 percent of women said the opposite.
We encourage you to read her entire piece here.
Here’s Helen speaking at NatCon 5 in DC, where she expands on her “Great Feminization” theory.

get woke go broke? How about it just ruining everything it touches, especially our lives

The 2020 census was marketed as an “actual enumeration,” a neutral count of people for apportionment and funding. It was not. The same official who helped block a basic citizenship question in 2018, John M. Abowd, then the Census Bureau’s Chief Scientist, pushed through a new, opaque methodology in 2020 called differential privacy. The new system deliberately injected mathematical noise into every block count in America, turning the census from a headcount into a model with knobs. The knob that mattered most was a single parameter, epsilon, a secrecy shroud known only to a small inner circle. Abowd argued that a single added question about citizenship posed an intolerable risk to data quality because there was, he said, not enough time to test it. Then he rushed an untested algorithm that altered every count in every neighborhood. The irony is so sharp it cuts: the man who warned that one question might distort the census approved a method that guaranteed distortion.
The core lever in differential privacy is epsilon, the privacy loss budget. Abowd kept this number secret throughout 2020. Cities, states, researchers, and map drawers who saw the early demonstration files warned that the counts were veering away from reality. They had no way to tell whether errors in their communities were genuine undercounts or synthetic artifacts of the algorithm. Abowd’s system also crippled the ability of local governments, analysts, and other record‑keepers to find and fix mistakes. Normally, if a city discovers a counting error that affects federal funding, it can appeal through the Count Question Resolution (CQR) Program. With differential privacy, that safeguard collapses, because the published data are wrong on purpose, no one can separate genuine miscounts from the algorithm’s fake ones. This nullifies the traditional oversight process and leaves states helpless to correct funding or representation errors. Alabama tried to challenge this secrecy in State of Alabama v. U.S. Department of Commerce (2021), arguing that differential privacy was unconstitutional and illegal, but the court dismissed the case for lack of standing cost the state billions in lost federal funding.
It’s worse than you think
The alphabet news channels have been in lockstep since Edward R Murrow. They used to be good at hiding the fact that it was slanted left in the Cronkite era, but that went out the window with Dan Rather.
No one galvanized them more than Trump of course, who they all loved until he came down the escalator and said Make America Great Again.
They’ve been joined by the late night, not so funny comedy shows, the shrews at The View and any other show that could be turned political. It was that way across the board. Even Fox has joined the liberal slant.
It worked so well, CBS News got sold, and said they (might) be equal in coverage. The newsreaders lost their minds, and here is what you get.
The aerobic freakout has begun inside the liberal media over the new owners of CBS News appointing “anti-woke” Bari Weiss to the new post of editor-in-chief.
None of the CBS veterans want a new boss with a new ideology. They like pretending they don’t have an ideology. They call themselves courageously “independent.”
In her initial memo to employees, Weiss stated several principles that are absolute anathema inside CBS: “Journalism that holds both American political parties to equal scrutiny” and “Journalism that embraces a wide spectrum of views and voices so that the audience can contend with the best arguments on all sides of a debate.”

The anonymous leakers are already on fire. Jeremy Barr of The Guardian spread the early spurts: “CBS News veterans I’ve talked to are encouraging Bari Weiss to not mess with the Golden Goose(s) of ’60 Minutes’ and ‘CBS News Sunday Morning.’”
What makes them “golden”? They’re the opposite of the Weiss principles. They rely on a narrow spectrum of ideas and persistently favor one political party over another.
“60 Minutes” is notoriously pro-Democrat, from Steve Kroft trying to save Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign from the early adultery charges of his mistress, Gennifer Flowers, to Kroft performing a series of blatantly promotional interviews with Barack Obama, starting in 2008.

There is more here if you want to read it, but it is facts that both sides know to be true. Like Academia, the propaganda arm of the Democrat party carried the water for decades

Bigger Homes, Better Cars, Longer Lives: The Truth About Today

California Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell told CNN News Central co-host Kate Bolduan on Monday that House Democrats plan to scrutinize private citizens working with the Trump administration, following the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
A federal grand jury indicted Comey on Thursday on charges of lying to Congress and obstruction related to a testimony he gave during a September 2020 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Meanwhile, Swalwell has since expressed confidence that Democrats will regain control of the House in the 2026 midterm elections.
“Well, first, we’re making it clear that we’re going into the majority a year from now,” Swalwell said. “We have every intention to do that, and so we will bring oversight, accountability, we will subpoena the Department of Justice, but also private actors who have done these drug deals with the administration, college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms and so accountability is coming.”
“And so, one, it’s all coming out, two, I hope that deters people from doing more of these deals, these one-offs with the president,” he continued. “One other point, though, on Comey, Kate, this happened when Donald Trump was president. So if you’re trying to tell me this is not politically motivated, the statement that they’re referring to where he allegedly lied, Donald Trump was president, so why didn’t you indict him then? The fact that he’s indicting him now just makes it look even more politically motivated, and so I’m pretty confident that this will either be dismissed or Mr. Comey will be acquitted by a jury of his peers.”

In his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations, President Donald Trump claimed that “the UN has such tremendous potential” but was not using it. What did this mean? The UN officially is a member’s organization, a meeting place for diplomacy. Did Trump want to go beyond this and see a UN as a powerful organization operating on its own? The UN has grown into a massive bureaucracy, with over 130,000 people. Secretary-General António Guterres speaks for the UN as if it were the prototype for a world government. Autonomous UN agencies like the International Criminal Court, World Trade Organization, and International Seabed Authority already behave as if they are global governing bodies able to act against national states. As a nationalist, Trump could not have been calling for the UN to further expand to fulfill its ‘potential.”
The UN is a sanctuary for third-ratestaffers and pseudo-intellectuals from around the world on the lam from reality. A giant, well-funded faculty lounge. Trump mentioned how the UN is “creating new problems for us to solve.” By supporting mass migration, “the United Nations is funding an assault on Western countries and their borders… every sovereign nation must have the right to control their own borders.” And on the climate issue, “I’m telling you that if you don’t get away from the ‘green energy’ scam, your country is going to fail.”

Hillary Clinton’s secret to a “more perfect union”? Marginalize conservative Christian white men.
When MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski asked the former first lady and secretary of state whether America is “still headed toward a ‘more perfect union’” on Wednesday, Clinton attacked conservatives as the reason why the country’s progress is “on pause.”
“I think right now we’re on pause,” she replied. “Some people are actually scared about what’s going on in our country.”
The FBI secretly deployed more than 250 plainclothes agents to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, an operation so disorganized it unleashed searing frustrations among many of the FBI’s rank-and-file that the bureau had lost its core competencies to “wokeness” and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to an after-action report kept from the public for more than four years.
Scores of FBI agents and personnel – many from the bureau’s premier Washington field office (WFO) – sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into an unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies, the report obtained by Just the News shows.
The most persistent complaint was that the bureau during the James Comey and Chris Wray era had become infected with political biases and liberal ideology that treated the protesters from the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently than those arrested in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 episode.
“The FBI should make clear to its personnel and the public that, despite its obvious political bias, it ultimately still takes its mission and priorities seriously,” one employee wrote in a stinging review. “It should equally and aggressively investigate criminal activity regardless of the offenders’ perceived race, political affiliations, or motivations; and it should equally and aggressively protect all Americans regardless of perceived race, political affiliations, or motivations.”
That agent urged FBI leaders “to identify viable exit options for FBI personnel who no longer feel it is legally or morally acceptable to support a federal law enforcement and intelligence agency motivated by political bias.”
And a hearty fuck you to those who called us conspiracy theorists about this.

I’m married to Dane. For decades, they bragged about all the free shit they get such as education, healthcare, and retirement. They have to pay 70% taxes to afford this for the country. I believed them at first, but the truth came out ,and they aren’t happy about paying so much for everything.
Every one of her (not mine) relatives who has had surgery has had it messed up. From ankles to stomachs, botched every time. They wait 6 weeks to see a doctor (a cold is gone in 1 to 2). Even their pension isn’t as much as Social Security, the pittance that it is.
They aren’t fooling me. I see how they live. They avoid the government because everything is so expensive. They buy all their stuff in the US instead. They are next to obnoxious to protect a tiny country which hasn’t been great since the Vikings.

They brag how everyone is equal (a big lie, her nephew Brian can’t stop talking about how much he has and paid for it). The other lie is they are the happiest. When you set your standards to zero, you can meet them everytime. They aren’t happy and will barely talk to a stranger there.

Have you ever wondered why Scandinavian countries are often hailed as the gold standard of social equality? It’s a compelling narrative: nations like Sweden, Denmark, and Norway seem to have cracked the code on blending prosperity with fairness. But what if the story we’ve been sold isn’t the full picture? As someone who’s always been skeptical of too-good-to-be-true promises, I decided to dig deeper into the so-called Scandinavian model. What I found was a system far more complex—and, frankly, more troubling—than the rosy image painted by its admirers.
The term Scandinavian socialism gets thrown around a lot, often with a sense of awe. People point to high taxes, generous welfare programs, and impressive human development rankings as proof of a utopian system. But here’s the thing: what’s labeled as socialism in Scandinavia isn’t quite what you might think. It’s not about collective ownership of production or some grand egalitarian dream. Instead, it’s a carefully crafted system where the state plays a heavy-handed role in managing resources, wealth, and opportunity—often to the benefit of a select few.
At its core, this model is less about empowering the average citizen and more about maintaining state control. The state doesn’t own businesses outright, but it sets the rules, picks the winners, and ensures compliance through a web of regulations and taxes. It’s a system that looks free on the surface but operates with an iron grip beneath. Let’s break it down and see what’s really going on.
Back in the late 19th century, Scandinavian countries faced a unique challenge. They were resource-rich—think timber, iron, and fisheries—but lacked the robust middle class needed to fully exploit these assets. Unlike their European neighbors, who had thriving industrial bases, these Nordic nations couldn’t rely on state-run enterprises to drive growth. Their solution? Outsource production to a handpicked group of industrialists and corporations, both local and foreign, who were granted special privileges in exchange for loyalty and hefty tax contributions.
The state didn’t abolish private enterprise; it tamed it, turning businesses into extensions of its own agenda.– Economic historian
This wasn’t socialism in the classic sense. It was a hybrid—a mix of state favoritism and market dynamics. The government didn’t seize factories or mines; instead, it created a system where only those who played by its rules could thrive. This approach allowed Scandinavian nations to industrialize rapidly, but it came at a cost: a rigid hierarchy where the state and its chosen allies held all the power.
One of the biggest selling points of the Scandinavian model is its promise of equality. High taxes fund universal healthcare, education, and pensions, creating the illusion of a classless society. But is it really as fair as it seems? In my view, the system’s equality is more about uniformity than true fairness. Citizens are funneled into a state-managed existence, where their role is to maintain the system, not to innovate or break free.
The average Scandinavian doesn’t own significant capital or run their own business. Instead, they’re often locked into roles as employees within a tightly regulated economy. Their reward? A safety net of welfare benefits that ensures stability but discourages independence. It’s a trade-off: security for autonomy. And while that might sound appealing to some, it’s worth asking—does it truly empower people, or does it keep them tethered to the state?
Perhaps the most striking aspect of Scandinavian socialism is its reliance on a small, politically connected elite. These are the industrialists, corporate leaders, and bureaucrats who benefit from the state’s legal monopolies and administrative privileges. They’re not your typical capitalist entrepreneurs—they’re state-sanctioned players who thrive because of their proximity to power.
This dynamic creates a kind of corporate feudalism, where the state acts as a lord, granting favors to loyal vassals. In return, these elites generate revenue that funds the welfare state, keeping the system afloat. It’s a clever setup, but it’s not exactly the democratic paradise it’s made out to be. The average citizen has little access to this inner circle, and their economic mobility is often capped by design.
Fast forward to today, and the Scandinavian model is starting to show its age. The system was built on the back of abundant natural resources and a compliant workforce, but those foundations are crumbling. Aging populations, declining competitiveness, and shrinking resource revenues are putting pressure on the welfare state. The machine, as I see it, is grinding to a halt.
What happens when the money runs out? Historically, states in this position turn to desperate measures. In Scandinavia, that could mean wealth confiscation or outright nationalization of private assets. It’s not hard to imagine governments doubling down on their control, especially when the promise of welfare is at stake. After all, if the system’s built on dependency, what choice do they have?
Scandinavian countries consistently rank high on global happiness indices, which often fuels the myth of their success. But is this happiness genuine, or is it a byproduct of a system that prioritizes compliance over ambition? In my experience, true contentment comes from freedom and opportunity, not just material security. When you’re locked into a system that limits your potential, can you really call that happiness?
The data paints a mixed picture. While citizens enjoy high standards of living, they also face some of the highest tax burdens in the world. Personal savings rates are low, and entrepreneurship is stifled by red tape. It’s a system that works—until it doesn’t. And when it fails, the fallout could be severe.
As the Scandinavian model faces growing challenges, the question is whether it can adapt. Some argue for reforms—lower taxes, deregulation, and a shift toward true market freedom. Others fear the state will tighten its grip, moving closer to outright nationalization. Either way, the myth of Scandinavian socialism as a perfect balance of equality and prosperity is fading fast.
For those of us watching from the outside, there’s a lesson here: systems that promise everything often deliver less than they claim. The Scandinavian model isn’t a blueprint for utopia; it’s a cautionary tale about the costs of control. Perhaps it’s time we rethink what equality and freedom really mean.
There is more here, but it says the same thing.

Robinson is the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative icon Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
It has been reported by multiple outlets that Robinson, who grew up in a conservative Utah family, lived with a transgender partner named Lance Twiggs at the time of the shooting.
The relative, who asked to remain anonymous, told Wisconsin Right Now that Twiggs is “full of evil and hatred.”
WRN reports:
The shaken relative, who almost broke down into tears at one point during the interview, asked not to be named. WRN tracked down the family member through datamining sites that showed the familial linkage to Twiggs.
The relative alleged that Lance Twiggs is “not mentally well at all.” Asked whether Lance was transgender and transitioning, the family member alleged, “This is true. I can’t be sure of when it started. I have suspicions it would have been about four years.”
The family member alleged to WRN that Robinson was Lance Twiggs’ boyfriend. “I knew he had a boyfriend. I never met him. None of us had.” The relative was not sure how long they were together.
Asked how the relative knew Robinson was allegedly Lance Twiggs’ boyfriend, the relative responded: “Lance disclosed that. Not to me directly. He wanted to have lunch with other family members to introduce his boyfriend.”
“I know the reason I had nothing to do with him is he (Lance Twiggs) is full of evil and hatred,” the family member alleged about Lance Twiggs. “While this is extremely shocking, I was afraid he might hurt someone,” they said, claiming this belief was based on “things he would say to family members.”

Although I’m not at all surprised by these God and Morals hating reporters, I still am surprised they have no compassion. They are consumed by politics and only leftarded politics. I loathe these people.
Remember on 9/11/2001 when everyone stood with the USA? It lasted about 2 days
Oh, I know them well. My wife’s Danish family lets me know all the time about the shit they believe. They are a bunch of sheep who live and die by the press, despite the known lying. I literally listen to what they say and know the opposite is true. It’s been like clockwork (both her family and the press)
Well, here’s an excerpt. I’m not going to post all the vomit that they published.
They have reached a new low in assholiness
Even the tragic and abhorrent murder of Charlie Kirk didn’t stop some leading European media outlets from spewing their ideological contempt for President Donald Trump and those of the American right. They framed Kirk, a deeply committed Christian conservative, as an extremist and a bigot.
UK-based newspaper The Guardian described Kirk as someone “promoting misinformation and conspiracy theories.”
“Kirk expressed openly bigoted views and was an unabashed homophobe and Islamophobe,” the left-wing daily continued.
Another Guardian columnist, Margaret Sullivan, took this opportunity to blame the ‘right.’ According to her, it is “tragic is how partisan, violent and ugly much of the immediate reaction was, mostly on the right.”
Sullivan tried to muddy the waters by pinning the blame on ‘gun violence.’ She claimed that the “gun violence truly is an epidemic in America.”
“America” waw “deeply entrenched in tribal politics,” … “egged on by a president who glories in violent rhetoric,” she complained.
There’s a lot more at the link, but it’s all the same. Conservatives and Trump are the enemy
Charlie Kirk Assassination: European Media Blame ‘Trump’s Policies’ and ‘Gun Violence’
In Unterlüß, Lower Saxony, Europe’s largest ammunition factory began production yesterday. What started clandestinely is now being publicly scaled with full firepower: the European Union is building its own war economy.
In the good old days in Germany, recessions were typically masked by state-funded infrastructure programs. The concept worked as long as the state did not overgrow, overregulate, or force the private sector into a destructive ideological agenda, as is the case with the green transformation. In other words: the economy was always able to clear away the debris left behind by the state.
Southern Europe Could Never Recover
In Southern Europe, where the state’s role has traditionally been high, monetary policy generous, and handling of public funds notoriously lax, this policy left nothing but infrastructure ruins and industrial wastelands. Local economies were never able to productively absorb the artificial credit distributed by Brussels. The fatal consequences of this pseudo-boom still shape the landscape today.
For economic historians, present-day Europe has long been a fascinating study object. Crisis followed crisis, with the public sector intervening each time with increasing volume. The attempt to install the Green Deal, a Keynesian pseudo-economy, must be understood in this context. That Germany’s defense company Rheinmetall yesterday launched Europe’s largest ammunition plant in Unterlüß fits into this narrative.
The company invested half a billion euros to provide an annual capacity of up to 350,000 rounds by 2027. 500 new jobs are to be created, celebrated by politicians as a turning point and the beginning of a pan-European defense architecture.
Ceremony and Half-Truths
Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger expressed satisfaction: “It was not easy for us to invest half a billion without orders. I am very grateful to you”—the words were directed at Defense Minister Pistorius—“for keeping your handshake agreements. You are a man of word and deed.” A heavy dose of pathos and self-congratulation is evident here—politics and the defense industry are long intertwined.
Of course, this is only half the truth. Beyond the usual behind-the-scenes deals, politics has made it clear that it is ready to mobilize all means to build a German defense industry and provide sector companies with guarantees and subsidies where necessary. Big business, no risk.
After the collapse of the green economy, politics is now betting everything on the next pseudo-economy. The aim is to loosen dependence on America while exploiting the media spin that stylized Vladimir Putin’s Russia over years as a potential European invader. Whether this fear campaign will work in the long term remains to be seen.
No One Will Fight for Merz or Macron
Given the deep economic depression in which Germany and large parts of the EU are stuck, the general war fatigue, and social fractures in core EU states like Germany and France, it is clear that despite the reinstatement of conscription, most citizens will rigorously reject military engagement.
A glance at EU public finances alone is enough to recognize that a war against Russia is political madness. France, with a debt-to-GDP ratio of 115%, is days away from a confidence vote on the new austerity budget. Bond markets are already punishing these bankrupt states. The signs point to savings, not bellicose adventures.
Absurd and Destructive
It is absurd in this situation—where Germany has almost fully spent the so-called Bundeswehr special fund of €100 billion and now switches to borrowing mode—to accelerate this path. Yet Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and London are serious. In fall 2026, Rheinmetall plans to launch its next plant in Weeze, producing fuselage components for the F-35 fighter jet. Cost: €200 million, this time directly publicly funded.
Defense factories will mushroom in the coming months and years, producing far beyond civilian demand. Germany plans to raise its defense budget to up to 5% of GDP, which will worsen the impoverishment of its population as the private sector already shrinks by 4–5%. A disaster unseen in Europe since the end of the war.
A hot conflict with Russia is economically highly unlikely. Yet a new Cold War, a state of continuous armament like before 1990, seems to be Europe’s goal. They are trapped in an absurd economic theory of central planning and command economy. A new power base is forming: a corporatism between the defense industry and the political complex in Brussels.
Germany as Anchor
Germany has clearly been chosen to finance this economic disaster. The country, previously with one of the lowest debt ratios in the EU at 64%, will double its annual defense budget to €162 billion by 2029. By 2027, the special fund will be exhausted, after which loans up to €400 billion will be required.
Germany will become an active player in bond markets, where interest rates are already rising. The European Central Bank will have plenty of work to keep the rapidly growing debt pile liquid. The EU will also participate with new funds, EDIP and ASAP (a term bordering on infantilism in this context), contributing €50–70 billion annually to joint defense projects.
No Lessons Learned
While Germany’s civilian industry collapses, factories close in droves, and the country moves toward mass unemployment—with all consequences for social funds and the domestic climate—we now witness one grand opening after another: pompous inaugurations of defense plants, with champagne popping at our expense.
Europe has learned nothing from the green pseudo-economy disaster. It refuses to analyze how Germany and other industrial centers were deindustrialized. The fatal consequence of building a war economy is that it will siphon scarce resources from productive sectors on a massive scale, making financing and developing civilian enterprises nearly impossible.
Germany is being technologically left behind and bombing its own prosperity—in the literal sense.
I was working with our European divisions (every Country as it was IBM) and on 9/12 they were all “We are Americans too”.
By the next day, they were back to their favorite sport, trashing America. Everyone shoots for number one, and since Bush was a republican, the hate came back quickly and with even stronger wishes for the USA to be harmed.
Let’s not forget that I’m married to a European. Her family didn’t think that we should protect our country because of the violence it would cause. They stopped being my in-laws that day and became my wife’s family. I had mentioned that this was the biggest attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor.
An analyst I was forced to deal with was saying how the US didn’t have to fight 2 fronts in WWII. I calmly reminded him that we had the Japanese going on at the same time. Yes, he was an asshole and an ignorant one at that.
I don’t even go to see them anymore because the liberal press in Europe can out liberal the US liberal press. They believe every word and the hate they have for Trump is only matched by Keith Olberman and Rosie O’Donnell.
Anyway……
Next year will be the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. Most folks who were adults at that time remember it like it was yesterday.

Many of us have also had years when we’ve felt like distancing ourselves from the anniversary commemorations. Even for those not directly impacted, memories of that day—and the days that followed—still bring back traces of a trauma we’d never felt before. A feeling of insecurity we’d never experienced. Perhaps actor Tony Danza summed it up best when he said “I don’t like revisiting how I felt.”
In some ways the trauma seems to deepen with time, as new layers of grief emerge–like memories of loved ones who shared those moments but are now gone.
This year I decided to crack open the door and look back, if only for a little while.
In doing so, I came across some videos I’d never seen before–interviews with celebrities of that time period discussing where they were on 9-11.
Ten years after the attacks, producer and director David P. Levin released his documentary “When Pop Culture Saved America: A 9-11 Story.” Originally produced for A&E Networks, it explored how entertainment, comedy, and music helped Americans cope and rebuild in the months that followed. Levin spoke with numerous celebrities for the documentary, later posting extended interviews on his “Pop Goes the Culture” YouTube channel.
They didn’t remember. The people I dealt with were happy when we got attacked every time since and were mad when we protected ourselves.
Americans who don’t spend time in Europe might not fully appreciate what a powder keg the Old World has become.
However bad social relations in the United States now are, they are at least an order of magnitude worse on the other side of the Atlantic. European self-hatred is dissolving traditional cultural bonds. Mass immigration is compounding age-old rivalries.
Europe is one spark away from exploding.

Europe is a perennial battlefield. Many of our ancestors, after all, left the old country to escape religious, economic, and cultural conflicts that had endured for centuries. Those historic grievances — always simmering in times of peace before boiling over into outright violence — are passed from one generation to the next. Modern European nations are the product of two thousand years of shifting borders and alliances, and native Europeans trace their family lineages back to regional tribes whose ancient territories do not fit neatly within the politically drawn maps of today.
If you think geographical accents in America make it tricky for a Mississippian or Minnesotan to communicate effectively with an English-speaker from the Bronx, consider that Europe is home to nearly three hundred native tongues. Switzerland has four national languages — including Romansch, which derives from the spoken Latin of the Roman Empire. The cornucopia of indigenous languages, dialects, vocabularies, and accents makes it possible for local residents of small towns to recognize “outsiders” immediately. Even more impressively, they can usually tell — just by listening — which towns a stranger’s grandparents once called home.
Two world wars — both ignited in Europe and responsible for immense European destruction — propelled a mid-twentieth-century political movement calling for the eradication of national borders. The European intelligentsia who became the founding members of the continent’s fledgling transnational bureaucracy blamed national pride for Europe’s carnage and effectively turned “nationalism” into a dirty word.
Oddly, this was also a time when crumbling empires, such as France and the United Kingdom, were at least tepidly supporting the national independence of former colonies. Likewise, it was the beginning of a half-century U.S.-led campaign to encourage national revolutions in European countries stuck behind the Soviet Union’s Iron Curtain. So Western power brokers framed nationalism as a kind of intolerable ethos on par with Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s national socialism while encouraging former nations or proto-nations in Central Europe, Africa, and Asia to break away from the respective empires that controlled them. While Western leaders pushed for the integration of distinct European nations into a single “Union,” they also promoted national independence movements under the rationale that all humans possess a natural right to self-determination.
In the eighty years since the project for European integration began in earnest, those latent contradictions have transformed Europe into a tinderbox with even greater potential energy for self-destruction than existed before WWI and II. While the bureaucratic ruling class has actively repressed the historic identities of native Europeans, it has flooded the continent with foreigners who are encouraged to retain their own cultural identities. In this way, a Hungarian or Pole or Dane who celebrates his country’s unique heritage is denounced as a “far-right nationalist,” while a Frenchman who insists that African and Middle Eastern immigrants assimilate to the European way of life is denounced as a “racist” and “bigot.”
I’ve seen Europe change over the decades I’ve been going there. It’s not worth it anymore. The people can ruin any sites or history.
