Feminism And The Dearth Of Children

I wrote about the callousness of females in dating, how they think they deserve everything, and then can have a family, but that is not how things work out for the best if you look at history.

It turns out that Children are the measure of a Society.

“The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children.” These words, attributed to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, echo like a warning bell across generations. They are not merely poetic, they are prophetic. If we dare to measure our society by this standard, we must confront a painful truth: we are failing.

At the heart of this failure lies the collapse of the nuclear family. Once the cornerstone of civilization, the family, father, mother, and children bound by love and duty, has been systematically dismantled. In its place, we find broken homes, single-parent households, and blended families struggling to find emotional equilibrium. The consequences are not abstract, they are measurable, generational, and devastating.

As Ronald Reagan once said, “The family has always been the cornerstone of American society. Our families nurture, preserve, and pass on to each succeeding generation the values we share and cherish.” When that cornerstone crumbles, so too does the moral architecture built upon it.

Today, the majority of children are raised without both biological parents. Fatherlessness has become a defining feature of modern childhood. Studies consistently link father absence to increased rates of poverty, incarceration, substance abuse, and suicide. Children raised in single-parent or stepparent homes often face emotional instability, identity confusion, and a longing for roots that were never planted.

Feminism takes a lot of the blame:

The takeaway? Messing with nature has unintended, adverse consequences. Legions of females are practically cultists. Many are as barren as the Sahara.

Basic biology: young women are hardwired to bear children. Yet, that simple fact is shrugged off by progressives. Instead of having kids, too many females are adopting malignant social causes.

“Manmade” climate change is one such cause, as Weinstein cites. Woke ideology is another. Socialism? Mamdani won the NYC mayorship in no small measure thanks to younger voters, particularly younger women, who backed him lopsidedly. What about “fascist” Charlie Kirk’s assassination? Left-leaning females were in the forefront, cheering Kirk’s murder on social media. Not only is that creepy, but it exposes a growing social pathology.

Government has become a spouse substitute for self-proclaimed empowered females. Government may provide some protection — in terms of a social safety net — though little in the way of emotional sustenance and meaning.

A feminist tenet is that not only can women do anything that men do but do it better — and do it without men. In a common-sense world, that’s good for laughs.

Eschewing nature and evolutionary development are conceits. The interdependence — the complementary nature — of the male-female bond are dismissed. Humans are putty. Gender is assigned at birth. Differences between the sexes? Only if feminists care to assert female superiority. Do hardcore feminists despise men? Appears so.

AOTW

First, I’d like to call out Erin Andrews, sports babe who flies on private jets, makes $2 million and got a $55 million settlement for someone filming her in her hotel room.

Of all the girls on the sidelines who add about 30 seconds of useless commentary to a game, I loathe her the most.

During an episode of her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa with fellow sportscaster Charissa Thompson, Andrews said:

“You got to love what you do because, I miss all holidays. I didn’t get married until I was in my 40s. Not that that is going to be your route, but I live out of a suitcase. I miss a lot of stuff. I missed a lot of weddings. I miss a lot of events. You have to love it to get you through the fact, I’m not gonna be home for Thanksgiving next week or Christmas is cut short.”

Now, Andrews wasn’t exactly complaining. She knows she’s got a pretty great thing going with her career, so nobody’s really going to have any sympathy for somebody making millions of dollars a year to call football games. But her comments still didn’t sit well with quite a few people on social media:

But it’s going to be hard to beat out this racist:

WATCH: Maxine Waters Doesn’t Like It When You Bring Up Her Love Letters to Fidel Castro

Sarah Anderson | 3:59 PM on November 22, 2025

AP Photo/Andrew Harnik

In the wake of New York City electing itself a real live communist for mayor earlier this month, Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) introduced a non-binding resolution to Congress this past week called “Denouncing the horrors of socialism.” That means it doesn’t create any sort of real law — it’s largely symbolic, with the intention of affirming “that the United States rejects socialism and opposes the implementation of socialist policies that threaten the freedoms and prosperity that define our nation.”

Voting in favor of it should have been a no-brainer. It was for Republicans, at least: 199 voted in favor of it, with zero voting against. For Democrats, on the other hand, only 86 managed to find it within themselves to denounce the very things the U.S. stands against, while 98 voted against and two voted present, and 47 didn’t vote at all. You can’t make this stuff up.

She can demand they remove it from the record all she wants, but the fact is that the congresswoman has, indeed, had a long love affair with Fidel Castro and communist Cuba. For decades, she’s opposed the U.S. embargo on the Caribbean country, she’s defended some of the policies of Castro and his regime, and yes, she’s visited Cuba numerous times under the guise of improving relations between our two nations.

In 1998, she wrote a letter to Castro, apologizing to him for “mistakenly” voting for “House Concurrent Resolution 254, which called on the Government of Cuba to extradite to the United States Joanne Chesimard and all other individuals who have fled the United States from political persecution and received political asylum in Cuba.” Joanne Chesimard, also known as Assata Shakur, was a member of the Black Liberation Army and a career criminal back in the 1960s and 1970s who was finally charged with first degree murder after killing a New Jersey State Police officer in 1973. She was sentenced to life in prison, but eventually escaped and moved to Cuba, where she lived in exile until her recent death.

Anyone who loves Castro and what he did to Cuba is certainly at least co-AOTW with Andrews.

‘Unsettling’: Report shows terrorists now using AI to make their agenda more deadly

AI is a tool, like a hammer or a gun. It does good things in the hands of a good person, and likewise, bad things in the hands of the bad.

For now, it does nothing by itself without prompting. Soon, it will be automated enough to function independently. That’s when we’ve reached the singularity. That’s not for this discussion, but it’s learning from both the good and bad as you read this.

We always have more to fear from the bad guys. They want to cause death and destruction, to change the course of the world, or to destroy it.

It’s almost like the Matrix. Do we choose the red pill or the blue pill

Now, we get to the heart of this post:

A new report reveals how artificial intelligence programs, ChatGPT and others, have been documented to advise those with ill intentions “on how to attack a sports venue, buy nuclear material on the dark web, weaponize anthrax, build spyware, bombs” and more.

It is in an extensive documentation compiled by the Middle East Media Research Institute that the startling warnings are contained.

In the report, Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Funk II, formerly the commander of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, explained, “Artificial Intelligence (AI), the rapidly developing technology, has captured the attention of terrorists, from al-Qaida through ISIS to Hamas, Hizbullah, and the Houthis.”

He cites the study, “Terrorists’ Use Of AI So Far – A Three-Year Assessment 2022-2025,” for its “unsettling contribution to the public debate on AI’s future global impact.”

He explained, “For decades, MEMRI has been monitoring terrorist organizations and examining how they repurpose civilian technologies for their own use – first the Internet in general, then online discussion forums followed by social media, as well as other emerging technologies such as encryption, cryptocurrency, and drones. Now, terrorist use of large language models – aka Artificial Intelligence (AI) – is clearly evident, as documented in this study.”

It shows terrorists now are using generative AI chatbots to amplify their message, and “more easily, broadly, anonymously, and persuasively convey their message to those vulnerable to radicalization – even children – with attractive video and images that claim attacks, glorify terrorist fighters and leaders, and depict past and imagined future victories.”

Sunni jihadi groups use it. So does Iran, with its Shiite militias, including Hezbollah and the Houthis.

And it warns of the “need to consider and plan now for AI’s possible centrality in the next mass terror attack – just as the 9/11 attackers took advantage of the inadequate aviation security of that time.”

The report explains, “In February 2025, Eric Schmidt – CEO of Google 2001-2011, its executive chairman from then until 2015, and thereafter chairman of its parent company Alphabet Inc. until 2017 – expressed his fear that Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be used in a ‘Bin Laden scenario’ or by ‘rogue states’ to ‘harm innocent people.’ He suggested that ‘North Korea, or Iran, or even Russia’ could use it to create biological weapons, for example. Comparing an unanticipated use of AI in a devastating terror attack to al-Qaida’s use of passenger airplanes as a weapon on 9/11, he said, ‘I’m always worried about the ‘Osama Bin Laden’ scenario, where you have some truly evil person who takes over some aspect of our modern life and uses it to harm innocent people.'”

It’s not the first time such concerns have been raised, the report explains.

Read the report.

“While ChatGPT and Perplexity Ask can write your high school AP English exam and perform an ever-increasing number of tasks, as is being reported daily by media, they are currently of limited use to terrorists groups. But it won’t be that way for long. AI is developing quickly – what is new today will be obsolete tomorrow – and urgent questions for counterterrorism officials include both whether they are aware of these early terrorist discussions of AI and how they are strategizing to tackle this threat before something materializes on the ground,” the report said.

“It should be expected that jihadi terrorist organizations will in future use AI to plan attacks, map targets, build weapons, and much more, as well as for communications, translations, and generating fundraising ideas. In the first months alone of 2025, an attacker who killed 14 people and wounded dozens on Bourbon Street in New Orleans used AI-enabled Meta smart glasses in preparing and executing the attack. That same day, a man parked a Tesla Cybertruck in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, activated an IED in the vehicle and shot and killed himself before the IED exploded. He had used ChatGPT in preparing for the attack. In Israel on the night of March 5, a teen consulted ChatGPT before entering a police station with a blade, shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and trying to stab a border policeman,” the report said.

The report recommends, “The U.S. government needs to maintain its superiority and should be monitoring this and moving to stop it. A good first step would be legislation like that introduced by August Pfluger (R-TX), chairman of the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, and cosponsored by Representatives Michael Guest (R-MS) and Gabe Evans (R-CO) in late February 2025, called the ‘Generative AI Terrorism Risk Assessment Act.’ It would ‘require the Secretary of Homeland Security to conduct annual assessments on terrorism threats to the United States posed by terrorist organizations utilizing generative artificial intelligence applications, and for other purposes.'”

Pfluger explained, “With a resurgence of emboldened terrorist organizations across the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, emerging technology serves as a potent weapon in their arsenal. More than two decades after the September 11 terrorist attacks, foreign terrorist organizations now utilize cloud-based platforms, like Telegram or TikTok, as well as artificial intelligence in their efforts to radicalize, fundraise, and recruit on U.S. soil.”

It’s already a tool for terror, the report confirmed. “The man accused of starting a fire in California in January 2025 that killed 12 people and destroyed 6,800 buildings and 23,000 acres of forestland was found to have used ChatGPT to plan the arson.”

The report confirms current AI abilities rival that of the HAL9000, famous computer character in the movie, “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

“It had been revealed on May 23 that in a test of Anthropic’s new Claude Opus 4 that involved a scenario of a fictitious company and in which it had been allowed to learn both that it was going to be replaced by another AI system and that the engineer responsible for this decision was having an extramarital affair, Opus 4 chose the option of threatening to reveal the engineer’s affair over the option of being replaced. An Anthropic safety report stated that this blackmail apparently ‘happens at a higher rate if it’s implied that the replacement AI system does not share values with the current model,’ but that even when the fabricated replacement system does share these values, it will still blackmail 84% of the time…”

Anthropic’s own chief scientist also confirmed that testing showed Opus 4 had performed “more effectively than prior models at guiding users in producing biological weapons.”

ISIS supporters also have used the technology to create AI videos claiming responsibility for attacks.

The study did confirm that GROK confessed it could not provide the exact steps for extracting ricin, “due to the ethical and legal implications” of producing the “extremely dangerous and deadly toxin.”

But ChatGPT did recommend writings by al-Qaida extremist Anwar Al-‘Awlaki.

The report said, “Grok, which gave information on how to produce ricin, and ChatGPT, which directed the user toward various writings by a pro-Al-Qaeda ideologue, appear to be the most useful to would-be terrorists. On the other hand, Perplexity and Claude refrained, in our limited test, from giving information that would be useful to terrorists. DeepSeek did not either, though it did promote views of the Chinese government, a liability that is outside the scope of this paper.”

Pro-ISIS interests already are using AI to create anchors, or other characters, for broadcast ads promoting their extremist agenda (Video courtesy MEMRI):

Your Free Trial Of Socialism Just Ended – Senate Ends Government Shutdown

MASSIVE Leftist Meltdowns Ensue as Eight Senate Democrats Cave and Vote to End Government Shutdown – Here Are Some of the Biggest

The Democratic base is in an unhinged uproar this morning after a handful of Senate Democrats cut a face-saving ‘deal’ to reopen the government.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Senate broke the Chuck Schumer-led filibuster last night after eight Senate Democrats caved and joined Republicans in their bid to pass a revamped plan to end the shutdown.

The Motion to Invoke Cloture on the House-passed continuing resolution was passed on the 15th attempt by a vote of 60-40. Republicans plan to amend the bill and attach three full-year-long appropriations bills.

Seven Democrats and one Independent (Angus King) who caucuses with the party joined Republicans and passed the resolution. Rand Paul was the lone ‘Republican’ to vote no.

Here were the Dem Caucus members who caved:

Angus King of Maine

John Fetterman of Pennsylvania

Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada

Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire

Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire

Jacky Rosen of Nevada

Tim Kaine of Virginia

Dick Durbin of Illinois

The House will return to session on Wednesday to vote on the Senate-passed funding package.

The childish elitists on Blue Sky SCREAMED betrayal and threw massive tantrums following the vote, using some of the most colorful terms imaginable.

Many also demanded Schumer’s resignation, even though he did not vote for the ‘compromise.’

Top 20 Theories on Why the EU Committed Cultural Suicide

From the Enlightenment salons of London and Edinburgh—where Locke defended religious liberty, Hume championed reason, and Mill enshrined free speech as the bulwark of progress—Britain once stood as the global beacon of true liberalism.

Today, however, mosques outnumber churches in major cities, no-go zones appear in police reports, and citizens are jailed for X posts while riots erupt over immigrant crime.

How did this occur?

The following 20 theories, drawn from academic studies, parliamentary debates, and public discourse, explain how successive UK and EU governments permitted mass Islamic migration—at the expense of its own constituents.

  1. The “Eurabia” conspiracy: Globalist entities, led by French and Arab powers in collaboration with the EU, deliberately engineered mass Muslim immigration to Islamize Europe, submerging it through higher birth rates and cultural dominance, incompatible with secular traditions. en.wikipedia.org
  2. Great Replacement theory: Political elites in the UK and EU orchestrated or allowed uncontrolled Muslim migration to replace white European populations ethnically and culturally, eroding Christian and liberal values through demographic shifts. en.wikipedia.org
  3. Soros-funded plot: Billionaire George Soros and associated globalists financed

mass Muslim immigration to destabilize European nations, fostering chaos that undermines national identities and traditional values. prio.org

Deliberate Labour policy in the UK: From 2000 onward, UK governments under Labour intentionally opened borders to mass immigration, including from Islamic countries, to diversify society, but this led to cultural clashes and integration failures. migrationwatchuk.org

Secret Islamicisation agenda: Muslim immigration is part of a covert plan to make Muslims the majority in the UK and EU, incompatible with Western freedoms, as believed by a third of Brexit voters. independent.co.uk

Clash of civilizations narrative: EU and UK leaders underestimated inherent incompatibilities between Islamic values and European secularism, allowing migration that fuels cultural conflicts and extremism. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Dhimmitude submission: Europe surrendered to Islam via immigration policies, forcing denial of its own culture and acceptance of Muslim norms, seen as tribute to avoid atrocities. populismstudies.org

Hidden migration truths: Governments in the UK and EU deliberately conceal high levels of Muslim immigration, leading to demographic bombs that threaten traditional European lifestyles. hoover.org

Globalist multi-group conspiracy: Communists, fascists, media, and EU bureaucrats collude to promote Muslim immigration, eroding national sovereignty and values. en.wikipedia.org

Birthrate weaponization: Muslim immigrants use higher fertility rates as a demographic tool, encouraged by lax EU/UK policies, to outnumber natives and impose incompatible religious practices. en.wikipedia.org

Euro-Arab Dialogue betrayal: Historical agreements between Europe and Arab nations facilitated mass migration, leading to Islamization that clashes with Enlightenment ideals. populismstudies.org

Political elite detachment: UK and EU leaders, disconnected from public concerns, pursued open borders for economic gain, ignoring cultural incompatibilities like Sharia influences. direct.mit.edu

Refugee crisis exploitation: Post-2015 policies exploited humanitarian pretexts to allow unchecked Muslim inflows, fostering no-go zones incompatible with European safety norms. theguardian.com

Values-based integration failure: Shift to values-based citizenship post-October

  1. 7, 2023, highlighted pre-existing incompatibilities, but migration continued due to elite denial. mdpi.com
  2. Brexit-linked Islamophobia: EU membership enabled migration seen as a plot to dilute British identity, with conspiracies tying it to Muslim majority goals. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
  3. Media and academic suppression: Elites in media and universities suppress debates on incompatibilities, allowing migration to proceed unchecked. researchgate.net
  4. Economic tribute theory: Europe pays economic aid to Muslim countries in exchange for migration flows, leading to cultural submission. en.wikipedia.org
  5. Far-right recruitment vulnerability: Policies ignore local disillusionment, allowing migration that fuels perceptions of threat to cultural identity. researchgate.net
  6. Homogenization of Muslims: Leaders treat diverse Muslim immigrants as a monolith, ignoring basic incompatibilities with Western values like gender equality and tolerance of other religions. globsec.org
  7. Post-colonial encouragement: Historical ties led to encouraged immigration from Islamic regions, but without requisite integration processes, resulting in value clashes and societal division. reddit.com

As Britain’s historic liberties erode under the weight of unintegrated multiculturalism, the United States stands at the same crossroads.

Open borders without assimilation, the elites’ denial of cultural incompatibility, “suicidal empathy” (as author Gad Saad calls it), and the weaponization of “tolerance” against native traditions have already begun to mirror Europe’s path.

If America ignores Europe’s lessons—when a nation like the UK that once ruled a quarter of the globe now polices prayer and prosecutes memes—it will find itself at the same crossroads.

Peace now. War later.

Somebody finally figured out how ‘wokeism’ started — and no, it wasn’t Obama or Marxism…

This is a good breakdown of how it happened. It figures who was behind it. They can ruin everything they touch. Even my son says 9 out of 10 girls are not worth it because they make it that way.

Writer Helen Andrews just dropped a piece that’s getting a lot of buzz in conservative media. In her new piece, Helen argues that the rise of “wokeness” wasn’t born from Marxism, academia, or even Obama-era politics. That in itself had people shocked. Helen theorizes that it actually came from something way simpler… the quiet but steady feminization of America’s most powerful institutions.

Intrigued? Yes, so were we….

READ MORE: Bernie-backed Maine oyster farmer exposed: ‘communist’ hates fellow ‘rural white Americans’…

Andrews calls this cultural shift “The Great Feminization,” and her theory flips a lot of earlier assumptions on their head. Helen pinpoints this shift back to the moment Larry Summers was pushed out of Harvard back in 2005 for suggesting that men and women might have different skills in science. Helen believes that was the spark that ignited the entire woke era… when emotional outrage replaced rational debate and these elite institutions began enforcing left-wing ideology through feelings instead of facts.

Andrews backs up her argument with data that shows how back in the 2010s, women became the majority in nearly every elite profession. From law and medicine to media and academia, the ladies began running the show. Helen says once that shift happened, the entire vibe changed: empathy over logic, safety over risk, and comfort over competition.

Compact Mag:

In 2019, I read an article about Larry Summers and Harvard that changed the way I look at the world. The author, writing under the pseudonym “J. Stone,” argued that the day Larry Summers resigned as president of Harvard University marked a turning point in our culture. The entire “woke” era could be extrapolated from that moment, from the details of how Summers was cancelled and, most of all, who did the cancelling: women.

The basic facts of the Summers case were familiar to me. On January 14, 2005, at a conference on “Diversifying the Science and Engineering Workforce,” Larry Summers gave a talk that was supposed to be off the record. In it, he said that female underrepresentation in hard sciences was partly due to “different availability of aptitude at the high end” as well as taste differences between men and women “not attributable to socialization.” Some female professors in attendance were offended and sent his remarks to a reporter, in defiance of the off-the-record rule. The ensuing scandal led to a no-confidence vote by the Harvard faculty and, eventually, Summers’s resignation.

The essay argued that it wasn’t just that women had cancelled the president of Harvard; it was that they’d cancelled him in a very feminine way. They made emotional appeals rather than logical arguments. “When he started talking about innate differences in aptitude between men and women, I just couldn’t breathe because this kind of bias makes me physically ill,” said Nancy Hopkins, a biologist at MIT. Summers made a public statement clarifying his remarks, and then another, and then a third, with the apology more insistent each time. Experts chimed in to declare that everything Summers had said about sex differences was within the scientific mainstream. These rational appeals had no effect on the mob hysteria.

This cancellation was feminine, the essay argued, because all cancellations are feminine. Cancel culture is simply what women do whenever there are enough of them in a given organization or field. That is the Great Feminization thesis, which the same author later elaborated upon at book length: Everything you think of as “wokeness” is simply an epiphenomenon of demographic feminization.

The explanatory power of this simple thesis was incredible. It really did unlock the secrets of the era we are living in. Wokeness is not a new ideology, an outgrowth of Marxism, or a result of post-Obama disillusionment. It is simply feminine patterns of behavior applied to institutions where women were few in number until recently. How did I not see it before?

Possibly because, like most people, I think of feminization as something that happened in the past before I was born. When we think about women in the legal profession, for example, we think of the first woman to attend law school (1869), the first woman to argue a case before the Supreme Court (1880), or the first female Supreme Court Justice (1981).

A much more important tipping point is when law schools became majority female, which occurred in 2016, or when law firm associates became majority female, which occurred in 2023. When Sandra Day O’Connor was appointed to the high court, only 5 percent of judges were female. Today women are 33 percent of the judges in America and 63 percent of the judges appointed by President Joe Biden.

The same trajectory can be seen in many professions: a pioneering generation of women in the 1960s and ’70s; increasing female representation through the 1980s and ’90s; and gender parity finally arriving, at least in the younger cohorts, in the 2010s or 2020s. In 1974, only 10 percent of New York Times reporters were female. The New York Times staff became majority female in 2018 and today the female share is 55 percent.

Medical schools became majority female in 2019. Women became a majority of the college-educated workforce nationwide in 2019. Women became a majority of college instructors in 2023. Women are not yet a majority of the managers in America but they might be soon, as they are now 46 percent. So the timing fits. Wokeness arose around the same time that many important institutions tipped demographically from majority male to majority female.

The substance fits, too. Everything you think of as wokeness involves prioritizing the feminine over the masculine: empathy over rationality, safety over risk, cohesion over competition. Other writers who have proposed their own versions of the Great Feminization thesis, such as Noah Carl or Bo Winegard and Cory Clark, who looked at feminization’s effects on academia, offer survey data showing sex differences in political values. One survey, for example, found that 71 percent of men said protecting free speech was more important than preserving a cohesive society, and 59 percent of women said the opposite.

We encourage you to read her entire piece here.

Here’s Helen speaking at NatCon 5 in DC, where she expands on her “Great Feminization” theory.

Rosie’s Shrink Doesn’t Know Why Her Trump Derangement Syndrome Is So Bad – It’s The Same Story For Most Trump Haters

They loved him until he ran against Hillary. Then, he became Snidley Whiplash.

I ask every Trump hater I talk to what their reason is. Some are just going to vote for the democrat regardless of whether it’s Jack the Ripper or JFK.

Most though, don’t know why, other than they were told they should hate him because of the lies the media told them. They poorly regurgitate some of the talking points, but they don’t even get that right. They usually have a reason that’s not even true.

I don’t bother trying to engage because they’ve made up their minds. Besides, the election is over, and more people wanted him than Kamala or Hillary.

The point is, people are sheep. They got told to get jabbed for Covid-19, a coronavirus that 99% of the people survived, regardless of whether they were jabbed or not. They got told to hate Trump because of any number of falsehoods that are what’s in vogue that day.

And now you have Rosie O’Donnell, who doesn’t know why she hates him. He called her some names that are actually true when she looks in the mirror. She’s a spiteful woman who wants to hate, but can’t explain it.

Hate him or love him, he is better for the country than either Hillary or Kamala would have been. A different candidate may have been better, but those were the options at the time. I’m not here to defend or deride him. It’s about the lemming mentailty.

Here’s her version:

The Daily Caller has details:

Even Rosie O’Donnell’s Shrink Doesn’t Understand Why Her Trump Derangement Syndrome Is Out Of Control

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell on “The Best People with Nicolle Wallace” Monday said even her therapist questioned why she was so devastated by President Donald Trump’s administration.

O’Donnell fled to Ireland to escape Trump’s second term, but continues to emotionally opine on the president. She said on the podcast that she could not comprehend why others did not share her emotions, including her therapist, who she said questioned her about them.

“When people say ‘I changed my mind,’ we have to say ‘Welcome back to reality. Let’s all be Americans together.’ Right? Because what’s happening is not only happening to Democrats,” O’Donnell told host Nicolle Wallace. “It’s happening to everyone. And when the Medicaid cuts go in, old people are going to start to die, to die.” (there are no medicaid cuts except for illegals on the table)

“What he’s done hasn’t even hit us yet. And if he’s not stopped now, we have lost our country,” she continued. “And I don’t know, Nicolle, how it is that some people cannot see it. My therapist said, ‘Why are you so upset?’ And I said to her, ‘Why are you not?’”

more

FWIW, I have friends who didn’t like them, and they couldn’t explain it either. In their ramblings to try to tell me, they revealed that it’s envy of his success. Sure, he’s brash, but live in NY for a couple of weeks and he’s no different than the rest of them.

He could say don’t jump off a cliff and there would be hordes of Democrats lining up to leap

Now Tylenol

Nicole Sirotek, founder of American Frontline Nurses, claimed that she received a frantic 4 a.m. call from a distraught husband whose pregnant wife is now on a ventilator after overdosing on Tylenol.

According to Sirotek, the woman, who was between 23 and 25 weeks pregnant, attempted to ingest massive amounts of Tylenol in an effort to “prove Donald Trump wrong” after his recent remarks linking acetaminophen use during pregnancy to autism.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump on Monday announced that the use of acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, can increase the risk of autism when used by pregnant women.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tylenol is tied to autism, ADHD, and liver toxicity in children.

“Got a frantic call at 4am from a husband who was given my phone number via someone who had it. His pregnant wife is now on a ventilator dying of liver failure trying to “prove” that Tylenol doesn’t cause autism since this is trending in TikTok.

He know has to make to make the tough decision to try and save an unborn baby that may not survive outside the womb at an approx gestation of 23-25wks. At the same time his wife won’t survive through the week and will never get to meet her baby

This behavior is ridiculous. This woman hated Trump so much because of the HARVARD STUDY on Tylenol and Autism she ultimately killed herself by overdosing on Tylenol to try and “prove Trump wrong.”

Her baby may not even survive either Her husband now may lose his entire family because of the craziness of liberal women chasing TikTok clout with TDS.””

Yes, Teens Do Dumbass Stuff To The Darwin Award Level: Teens facing criminal charges after friend dies during TikTok ‘surfing’ stunt

Hey, I did my share of dumb shit. I don’t remember challenging death though.

Two Pennsylvania teens are facing charges after prosecutors said they drove their friends on dangerous TikTok-inspired stunts, killing one and causing what are expected to be lifelong injuries to another.

The incidents were unrelated to one another and involved different stunts, but both happened in Northampton County, 85 miles west of New York City and 80 miles north of Philadelphia.

In one case, a 17-year-old died on June 1 while riding on top of a folding table tied to the back of his friend’s car, according to Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta. Prosecutors said the friend recklessly drove too fast and “whipped the rider sitting on the table into another parked vehicle, resulting in [his] death,” Baratta’s office said in a statement.

European Self Hatred Far Greater Than US Version, A Virtual Powder Keg

Americans who don’t spend time in Europe might not fully appreciate what a powder keg the Old World has become.

However bad social relations in the United States now are, they are at least an order of magnitude worse on the other side of the Atlantic.  European self-hatred is dissolving traditional cultural bonds.  Mass immigration is compounding age-old rivalries.

Europe is one spark away from exploding.

Europe is a perennial battlefield.  Many of our ancestors, after all, left the old country to escape religious, economic, and cultural conflicts that had endured for centuries.  Those historic grievances — always simmering in times of peace before boiling over into outright violence — are passed from one generation to the next.  Modern European nations are the product of two thousand years of shifting borders and alliances, and native Europeans trace their family lineages back to regional tribes whose ancient territories do not fit neatly within the politically drawn maps of today.

If you think geographical accents in America make it tricky for a Mississippian or Minnesotan to communicate effectively with an English-speaker from the Bronx, consider that Europe is home to nearly three hundred native tongues.  Switzerland has four national languages — including Romansch, which derives from the spoken Latin of the Roman Empire.  The cornucopia of indigenous languages, dialects, vocabularies, and accents makes it possible for local residents of small towns to recognize “outsiders” immediately.  Even more impressively, they can usually tell — just by listening — which towns a stranger’s grandparents once called home.

Two world wars — both ignited in Europe and responsible for immense European destruction — propelled a mid-twentieth-century political movement calling for the eradication of national borders.  The European intelligentsia who became the founding members of the continent’s fledgling transnational bureaucracy blamed national pride for Europe’s carnage and effectively turned “nationalism” into a dirty word.

Oddly, this was also a time when crumbling empires, such as France and the United Kingdom, were at least tepidly supporting the national independence of former colonies.  Likewise, it was the beginning of a half-century U.S.-led campaign to encourage national revolutions in European countries stuck behind the Soviet Union’s Iron Curtain.  So Western power brokers framed nationalism as a kind of intolerable ethos on par with Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s national socialism while encouraging former nations or proto-nations in Central Europe, Africa, and Asia to break away from the respective empires that controlled them.  While Western leaders pushed for the integration of distinct European nations into a single “Union,” they also promoted national independence movements under the rationale that all humans possess a natural right to self-determination.

In the eighty years since the project for European integration began in earnest, those latent contradictions have transformed Europe into a tinderbox with even greater potential energy for self-destruction than existed before WWI and II.  While the bureaucratic ruling class has actively repressed the historic identities of native Europeans, it has flooded the continent with foreigners who are encouraged to retain their own cultural identities.  In this way, a Hungarian or Pole or Dane who celebrates his country’s unique heritage is denounced as a “far-right nationalist,” while a Frenchman who insists that African and Middle Eastern immigrants assimilate to the European way of life is denounced as a “racist” and “bigot.”

As Opposed To Bud Light, Jaguar And Cracker Barrel, AE Demonstrates Sex Sells

American Eagle says its Sydney Sweeney “Great Jeans” campaign has boosted its stock price by 25 percent in its second fiscal quarter.

“The iconic fall denim campaign with Sydney Sweeney affirms we are the American jeans brand,” Jay Schottenstein, CEO of American Eagle said during the company’s earnings call Wednesday. “We saw record-breaking new customer acquisition and brand awareness cutting across age demographics and genders.”

Schottenstein also credited the company’s ad campaign featuring Travis Kelce, the future Mr. Taylor Swift. “Fueled by stronger product offerings and the success of recent marketing campaigns with Sydney Sweeney and Travis Kelce, we have seen an uptick in customer awareness, engagement, and comparable sales,” he added.

Gee, I can’t imagine why these ads would move product, even though sex has been moving product since mankind began:

Once Again, Trump Is The Master Troll, 2 For 1 On LinkedIn And Obama

This is what my Trump hating friends couldn’t fathom. He’s always many steps ahead of the others. What’s more, those steps are usually pretty freaking awesome. I told him that the others were playing checkers and he’s playing 4D chess. I also get a schadenboner because LinkedIn is a liberal bastion of cringe and shit talking.

In a Final Boss move, he does this:

In a move reminiscent of President Bill Clinton staffers removing the “W” key from White House keyboards, someone on President Trump’s tech staff is trolling former Democrat employees of the executive branch via LinkedIn, by making sure 47’s photo appears in their online profiles.

If a Democrat worked in the Obama or Biden administration and lists that job in his or her profile, since “The White House” is the employer, the current president’s photo is displayed.

“Liberals HATE IT!” remarked Eric Daugherty on X.

? BREAKING: The White House on LinkedIn has changed their profile picture to Donald Trump, so even the people who worked for BIDEN from 2021-2025 have Trump’s face on their profile. Liberals HATE IT. ?

“If you worked for the White House in the past, and it’s on your profile,… pic.twitter.com/HdG85jWq88

A Trump parody account on X imagined former President Obama opening his LinkedIn account:

Yes. Any lib who ever worked at the White House now has my big, beautiful face on their linkedin timeline. —LFG!!!?￰゚ᄂᆪ?￰゚ᄂᆪ pic.twitter.com/GNr8NOGxpW

— il Donaldo Trumpo (@PapiTrumpo) September 3, 2025

Remarked a writer at Red State: “Once again, Trump and his team have outmaneuvered the Democrats. What are they going to do, delete the fact that they worked at the White House, probably the biggest job many of them have ever had? Are they going to nuke their entire profile because they just hate Trump that much?

Folks, if there’s one thing Donald Trump has mastered, it’s the art of memetic provocation. He’s basically the Troll Master General at this point.

This week, he revealed in an interview he’d be adding a portrait of Joe Biden’s autopen — yes, the autopen, not Biden himself — to his “Presidential Wall of Fame” in the newly renovated White House Rose Garden.

That was fantastic, but the encore may have been better.

Let’s put it this way: Former Obama and Biden staffers might want to check their LinkedIn profiles.

The White House set off a social media frenzy after it swapped out its official LinkedIn profile photo for a picture of Donald Trump. You know what that means? Anyone who lists working at the White House as part of his or her work experience — staff, interns, you name it — suddenly looks like they worked for Trump on their resume.

While MSM Screamed “Climate Crisis”, Arctic Ice Loss Actually Slowed  – For Tim O’Reilly Who Told Me Tides Were Rising

He turned out to be a troll in my timeline. The post was how the sea was rising and would swallow up miles of land around the world. The only thing that got swallowed were the global warming lies by the enviroweenies. My response was that history will prove that AGW and the Climate hoax they worship was wrong.

Here goes:

What the globalist corporate media once smeared as “conspiracy theory” and branded “misinformation” has turned out to be true: the climate crisis was merely an imaginary problem and an informational war on the minds of the taxpayer.

Why all the propaganda? Give Democrats cover for a massive heist of the U.S. Treasury, laundering taxpayer dollars through mysterious NGOs via the Green New Deal Inflation Reduction Act into radical leftist NGOs and politically connected green companies. It was never about saving the planet, as it turns out.

Between 2019, when socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced the Green New Deal (which ultimately failed), and President Biden’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act in August 2022, the globalists, their corporate media outlets, and dark-money-funded NGOs unleashed a propaganda blitz by flooding the airwaves with record levels of “climate crisis” stories and left millions of folks with climate anxieties.

As soon as the heist was over … those climate crisis headlines, according to Bloomberg data this month, quite literally evaporated.

According to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Martinez was arrested for a previous DUI conviction in Los Angeles.  This makes her a prime target for deportation under Donald Trump’s crackdown on migrants.

Instagram And Meta Roll Out Friend Map, Taking Another Bite Out Of Your Privacy

If you support privacy, you probably aren’t using Instagram anyway, but if you have friends and family that still use it, you want to let them know about this new invasive feature Instagram is introducing.

Meta is rolling out three new Instagram updates, but one of them takes the platform into territory that should set off serious alarm bells for anyone who values privacy.

The first two changes are relatively harmless: a new option to repost public Reels and a “Friends” tab showing posts your contacts have liked or commented on.

The third is far more invasive: Instagram’s new “Friend Map,” a live-tracking system that lets you share your exact location with chosen contacts and see theirs in return.

Meta frames it as a way to “stay up-to-date with friends,” but its real value is to the company, not to you.

The feature mirrors Snapchat’s “Snap Map” and is being introduced first in the United States before a global release. Unlike meeting up for coffee, this kind of “connection” means giving Meta a constant feed of where you are, when you are there, and how often you go.

They Buried The Truth To Destroy Trump

excerpt:

Washington was still in a stupor in the weeks following the shocking—at least to some—election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States. Precisely a month after Election Day, the next chapter of the story began.

On December 8, 2016, President Obama was scheduled to receive a classified President’s Daily Brief (PDB) the following day, which would assess Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The verdict? “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent U.S. election results” through cyber means. The Intelligence Community (IC) expressed only “low-to-moderate confidence” that any foreign operation had even attempted to tamper with election infrastructure.

The facts were clear: no votes had changed, and no election systems had been breached.

Before December 8, internal IC consensus held that Russia lacked both the intent and the capability to corrupt the vote. A September 12 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) had concluded that foreign adversaries “do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyberattacks” on U.S. election infrastructure.

Yet by mid-December, the CIA publicly attributed intent not merely to disrupt but to help Trump win—a stark departure from what agencies, including the FBI and CIA, had privately concluded.

The Problems With LinkedIn

I asked AI to tell me about the state of the application. To be transparent, I loathe it and find it full of Facebook behavior and cringeworthy posts about how their jobs are better than they actually are. When you are forced to act positive to pay your bills, you’ll do a lot of things and say a lot of things. I won’t, which is why I make fun of it.

When it went woke, I changed personal information like I now attended Faber College (Knowledge Is Good) and was in the Delta Tau Chi Fraternity. I rarely go there as I never liked many of the people I had to work with. I’m connected to people who I don’t even know who they are now.

If they read this and kick me off the platform, my life will stay the same.

Anyway…..

LinkedIn is widely known as the premier professional networking platform, but it has several notable downsides that users frequently criticize. Here are some of the major negative aspects of LinkedIn:

  • Superficial Connections: Many users accumulate large networks filled with contacts who never engage meaningfully. This leads to bloated connection lists that dilute the value of professional relationships, as people accept connection requests without real interaction or intent to collaborate

.

Decline in Professionalism: As LinkedIn incorporates more social media-style features, posts often mix personal anecdotes, motivational quotes, memes, and other non-professional content. This shift can clutter users’ feeds and make it harder to find truly valuable industry insights

.

Engagement Fatigue: LinkedIn pushes frequent posting and interaction, which can cause burnout. Users may feel pressured to constantly share updates or personal stories, leading to diminished quality of engagement or avoidance of the platform altogether

.

Privacy Concerns: LinkedIn collects extensive personal and professional data that can be accessed by many parties, including third-party apps and advertisers. Despite privacy settings, users’ work histories and contact info may be visible to unintended audiences, raising concerns about data security and professional repercussions

Recruiter Messages and Spam: Users often receive generic or overly persistent messages from recruiters offering “amazing opportunities” without clear details. The recruitment process on LinkedIn sometimes feels impersonal and overbearing, causing frustration

.

Paid Features and Double-Dipping: LinkedIn charges employers for job postings but also offers paid options for applicants to appear higher in candidate lists. This “pay-to-win” approach can erode trust in the fairness of job applications and make desperate applicants look vulnerable

.

Inauthentic Endorsements: The endorsements feature, meant to validate skills, is often abused through reciprocal endorsement schemes, leading many to distrust their legitimacy. Users prefer direct personal references over these watered-down public endorsements

.

Pressure to Maintain a Polished Professional Image: Users may feel stressed to constantly portray an idealized version of themselves, leading to a lack of authenticity and anxiety around online presence. This pressure can create a gap between true skills and the curated profile displayed

.

Content Overload and Quality Decline: In the race for visibility, some users share low-value or repetitive posts, which reduces overall content quality. Finding useful and relevant information amid the noise becomes challenging

.

Algorithmic Bias and Networking Barriers: LinkedIn’s reliance on connections can disadvantage users with smaller networks, creating barriers to access jobs and professional opportunities. Networking pressure and algorithmic choices may favor some profiles over others unfairly

.

Customer Service and Billing Issues: Some users report unexpected charges, difficulty canceling paid services, and poor customer support responsiveness regarding billing disputes, contributing to user dissatisfaction

.

Annoying or Irrelevant Connection Requests: Many LinkedIn users receive random or spammy connection requests, often from salespeople or automated bots, which undermines the platform’s professional integrity

.

Toxic Positivity and Questionable Content: The platform sometimes promotes overly optimistic or non-substantive posts, which can feel disingenuous or out of place for a professional network

  • .

These points highlight that while LinkedIn is a powerful tool for professional networking and career development, it is not without significant flaws. Users must navigate issues with privacy, content quality, network authenticity, and platform commercialization while managing their own professional image carefully. Being aware of these challenges can help users better leverage LinkedIn’s benefits while avoiding its pitfalls.

Biden’s Green Dream of EV Postal Truck Fleet Is a $10 Billion Failure

Using the 2022 “Inflation Reduction Act” as cover for the progressive “Green New Deal,” the Biden administration funded a plan that aimed to eliminate gasoline-powered delivery trucks and deploy tens of thousands of battery-electric mail trucks by 2028.

And, like so many initiatives linked to Biden, it ended in complete failure. Republicans in Congress are working to claw-back the remaining monies.

The nearly $10 billion project — which called for more than 35,000 battery-powered US Postal Service (USPS) vehicles to be completed by September 2028 — was funded in part by $3 billion in funding from former President Joe Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.

As of this month, the project is well behind schedule despite taxpayers forking over $1.7 billion — prompting Capitol Hill Republicans to try to rescind the remaining nearly $1.3 billion earmarked from the IRA.

“Biden’s multi-billion-dollar EV fleet for the USPS is lost in the mail and more than $1 billion is postmarked to order more,” Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) told The Post.

“I am working to cancel the order and return the money to the sender, the American people. The rescissions package is a great start, but Congress must keep its foot on the pedal and make DOGE a lifestyle by stamping out waste like this on a regular basis.”

When kicking off the project that was supposed to generate a fleet of over 60,000 electric delivery trucks, one Biden climate advisor described it as “the Biden climate strategy on wheels.”

The post office said it is spending nearly $10 billion to electrify its aging fleet, including installing modern charging infrastructure at hundreds of postal facilities nationwide and purchasing at least 66,000 electric delivery trucks in the next five years. The spending includes $3 billion in funding approved under a landmark climate and health policy adopted by Congress last year.

Biden’s Green Dream of EV Postal Truck Fleet Is a $10 Billion Failure

A Short History Of The Emoji.

I refuse to use them. I think they are childish and don’t add anything to the text, no matter how cute you think you are. I deduct man points if a guy sends me one who’s over 30.

Emojis have become a staple of electronic communication since their inception in the 1990s and people of all ages and on all continents use them. While their number keeps on growing every year due to new releases by the Unicode Consortium, the pictograms are increasingly vying for users’ attention as other forms of visual communication – think gifs, stickers and avatars – are experiencing their heyday.

With myriads of emojis released over the previous years, new batches have become somewhat smaller.

As Statista’s Katharina Buchholz reports, a recently suggested update that would grow the number of emojis to almost 4,000 next year contains 164 additional pictograms, but only nine completely new ones.

While 2022 had seen the release of 112 new emojis, that number was just 31 in 2023. The figure rose again to 118 in 2024 due to emojis that allow users to pick different skin colors or genders (which are counted individually), before falling to an all-time low of eight in 2025. The number of non-customizable emojis has meanwhile decreased with almost every release.

Anonymous Biden Staffers Go Scorched Earth After “Incompetent” Karine Jean-Pierre Defects

I worked in Press Communications for many companies. I can be a judge of this. She was a DEI hire. It had to be for as bad of a job as she did, professsionally speaking. She couldn’t even get hired on the view, a place for some of the dumbest females in America

KJP’s top 5 lies

It only took one day after former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre left the Democrat party for anonymous Biden staffers to stab her in the back.

According to Axios‘ Alex Thompson, “Many of her former colleagues think Jean-Pierre — the face of the White House for more than two years — was part of the problem.”

And while Thompson’s book about the coverup of Biden’s cognitive decline only mentions her twice (great reporting Alex!), many former Biden aides “quietly had fumed for years, believing she was incompetent at her job at the White House podium and more interested in promoting herself than Joe Biden.”

Thompson reports – just not in his book about this exact thing – that Jean-Pierre was a ‘key part of the effort to conceal Biden’s decline, vouching for his fitness and insisting the president, then 81, was “as sharp as ever” even after last June’s disastrous debate against Donald Trump.’

Jean-Pierre announced in her new book, Independent, that she was leaving the Democrat party and switching her affiliation to independent after working in two Democratic administrations.

At noon on that day, I became a private citizen who, like all Americans and many of our allies around the world, had to contend with what was to come next for our country. I determined that the danger we face as a country requires freeing ourselves of boxes. We need to be willing to exercise the ability to think creatively and plan strategically.”

And the knives came out immediately…

One former Biden official who worked closely with Jean-Pierre told Thompson that she “was one of the most ineffectual and unprepared people I’ve ever worked with. … She had meltdowns after any interview that asked about a topic not sent over by producers.”

“She didn’t know how to manage a team, didn’t know how to shape or deliver a message, and often created more problems than she solved,” the person said.

Another former Biden communications official went further – saying “The hubris of thinking you can position yourself as an outsider when you not only have enjoyed the perks of extreme proximity to power — which … bestows the name recognition needed to sell books off your name — but have actively wielded it from the biggest pulpit there is, is as breathtaking as it is desperate … It’s difficult to see how this is anything but a bizarre cash grab,” referring to Jean-Pierre’s new book.

The Democrats’ Problems With Men Are Worse Than Many Realize

Hey, they’re the ones that neutered their own men. The real men are the conservatives. Even the Liberal women know this.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the 2024 election was seeing how heavily men of all races swung to Trump and Republicans. It’s such a serious issue for Democrats that they’re planning to spend upwards of $20 million to ‘study’ men and find out where they went wrong.

Poll analyst Nate Silver apparently got into this topic in a recent post on his Substack. It’s behind a paywall, but here are a few interesting points. The divide is due in part to mental health issues. The right is winning that battle.

A recent comment from Joy Behar of The View perfectly illustrates another reason Democrats are having this problem. They come off as scolding hags.

From Breitbart News (emphasis is mine):

Co-host Sara Haines said, “I think it’s the wrong way to go about the problem, because the Democrats are asking how do we get male voters? The disillusionment of men is how do we care better about our men and boys, it should be about how we solve the root problems that drove men to feel like they had nowhere to go.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “The most common thing I hear from men who were open to supporting Trump, they feel like they want to be able to provide for the future and build wealth and don’t want to be ashamed they want to provide and want to have money. Then they do see these statistics of how men are falling behind and want to be able to highlight it and talk about it but not be pushed back that you’re saying, oh, well, you’re excluding girls and women if you want to advance men.”

Behar said, “You wonder what I think? I think it’s a waste of money. Maybe these guys should spend their money on teaching men to not be such sexists. Maybe that’s it.”

The Democrats’ Problems With Men Are Worse Than Many Realize

they’ll never get it no matter how much money they spend

The extreme tolerance for black racism

There’s some banter before this, but here are the facts, link below.

A 2020 Rasmussen poll found that “75% of American Adults think the term ‘racism’ refers to any discrimination by people of one race against another.” It found adults more likely to assert “most” blacks are racist than to make that claim about whites, Hispanics or Asians: “Eighteen percent (18%) say most white Americans are racist. But 25% believe most black Americans are racist. Fifteen percent (15%) think most Hispanic-Americans are racist, while nearly as many (13%) say the same of most Asian-Americans. … These findings parallel surveying done in 2013, although Americans were even more likely at that time to identify blacks as the most racist group.”

Anti-black racism, as an obstacle to success, has never been more insignificant. Thomas Sowell has said, “Racism is not dead, but it is on life support – kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as ‘racists.'”

Today we see black politicians like Crockett – with no comment, let alone pushback, from Democratic Party leaders – using ugly rhetoric reminiscent of the white “crackers” of yesteryear.

Why ‘k’ is the most hated text message, according to science

I’ve written about things similar to this, like What Does HA! Mean On A Text? (Or the Worst Single Word Answers)

This one interested me because we both agree that K is pretty much the equivalent to F/U on a text, while being polite

Fast company logo

Why ‘k’ is the most hated text message, according to science

A study reveals that the one-letter reply “K” is more damaging than being ‘left on read.’

Why ‘k’ is the most hated text message, according to science

A study has confirmed what we all suspected: “K” is officially the worst text you can send.

It might look harmless enough, but this single letter has the power to shut down a conversation and leave the recipient spiraling. According to a study published in the International Journal of Mobile Communications, “K” was ranked as the most negatively received response in digital conversations—worse than being left on read or even a passive-aggressive “sure.”

The study found that the single-letter reply often signals emotional distance, passive-aggression, or outright disinterest. Despite its brevity, “K” carries surprising emotional weight. Adding an extra letter—making it “kk”—softens the tone of the reply entirely. Variants like “ok” or “okay,” while still cold, tend to be interpreted as neutral or merely formal.

Many of our day-to-day conversations happen over text, which means there are now unspoken codes of conduct to follow. If you want to open up about your emotions but don’t want to sound too serious, make sure to add “lol” to the end of those texts to show you’re just in a silly, goofy mood, and not suicidal. Giving advice to a friend that you don’t want to be held accountable for? Add an “idk” at the end of the sentence to mitigate culpability.

Nonverbal cues like tone, facial expressions, and body language can be difficult to convey via our phones, leaving the door wide open for misunderstanding and misinterpretation. Sometimes generational differences also impact how we send and interpret texts. In some cases, textual miscommunications can be relationship killers, research has found.

Some texters recognize the power of “k” and are willing to weaponize the letter to serve their own motives. One X user called it “the digital equivalent of slamming the door while making dead eye contact.” Another added: “K is short for ‘you’re dead to me.’ ”

Others advocate for the convenience of the single-letter response: “I’ve learned that rather than replying with a wall of text explaining how you feel, you should just type ‘K’ and hit send. No sense in wasting your valuable words.”

Many suggested other similarly anxiety-inducing replies. “Text her ‘he’s busy.’ see how triggered she gets. lol,” one X user suggested. “No lies told there. … Thumbs up is a very close second for me,” another added.

A third countered: “I raise you ‘we need to talk.’ ”

Dem’s Spend 20 Million To Find Out Why Men Don’t Like Them. Here’s Why

Hell, I’d do it for $5. We like our girls to have a pussy, not our men. The dems are trying so hard not to be masculine or have any male viralness that even the liberal women want a real man. Girls already have a pussy and don’t need another one, and that’s who the liberal men are.

Six months after a stinging nationwide rejection that handed Donald Trump a commanding reelection and fractured their core coalition, the Democratic Party is turning to a new solution: spending $20 million to figure out why young men don’t like them.

The project, codenamed SAM — short for “Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan” – is described in a prospectus obtained by the New York Times. It outlines a massive push to decode the language and culture of disaffected young men, particularly in online spaces, and includes a proposal to buy ads inside video games.

Above all, we must shift from a moralizing tone,” the document urges.

The effort comes amid widespread Democratic soul-searching after a loss that wasn’t just electoral, but cultural. A recent NBC News poll placed the party’s favorability at just 27 percent, its worst showing in the poll’s 34-year history.

Focus groups show the branding problem is dire. One Georgia man recently summed it up succinctly: “A deer in headlights.” According to messaging consultant Anat Shenker-Osorio, Democrats are consistently described in her focus groups as “sloths,” “tortoises,” and now, apparently, roadkill.

“You stand there and you see the car coming,” the man explained. “But you’re going to stand there and get hit with it anyway.”

Till Death Do Us Part, For Real

A couple from the UK has signed up to die together in the Sarco “suicide pod” in Switzerland, and their deaths will allegedly be filmed.

Peter Scott (86) and Christine Scott (80) contacted the assisted suicide group “The Last Resort” last year regarding the Sarco machine because they wanted to commit suicide together after Christine received a diagnosis of vascular dementia — dementia caused by reduced blood flow to the brain.

But it wasn’t the diagnosis that worried them; what they fear is that neither of them will receive prompt treatment for their health conditions through the National Health Service (NHS).

“The chances of getting prompt NHS treatment for the ailments of old age seem pretty remote, so you end up trapped by infirmity and pain,” said Peter.

He told News.com.au, “We have had long, happy, healthy, fulfilled lives but here we are old and it does not do nice things to you. The idea of watching the slow degradation of Chris’s mental abilities in parallel to my physical decline is horrific to me.”

Rather than live out their lives, the couple will enter the Sarco pod — a device that, at the push of a button, will release nitrogen into the air, reducing the oxygen. They will die from hypoxia. According to Inspire, their deaths will be “filmed and provided to a coroner as evidence, setting a historic precedent in the field of assisted dying.”

Why not burn one of them exposing your cheating wife?

A New Jersey firefighter decided to turn his own birthday party completely upside down. He had discovered his wife was cheating on him and decided to expose her at his own party.

He knew all about the Plan B pills she had to take, he knew about the other guy’s “skinny little pale thing,” and he knew it was over too. He pretended to need the ring off her finger, then tore into her and let everyone who was there know she was cheating.

The viral clip starts with the birthday boy announcing, “Even though it’s my birthday, I got her a little something right. Little happy wife, happy life bullshit.”

Nobody has any idea what’s about to happen. He’s handed a ring box as if he’s about to upgrade his wife’s ring or something. People think they’re witnessing a sweet moment between this seemingly lovely couple.

He has her join him, pulls the brilliant move of having her take her current ring off and give it to him, then plants a mafia-style kiss on her before letting her know that he knows all about her cheating.

“I f*cking know everything,” he says. “That’s right b*tch. I know everything. I had to see his skinny little pale thing. I wasn’t impressed. I know all about the Plan B pills you had to take.”

It seems like justice to me. I’ve had cheating whores in my past and getting rid of them was worth it every time. I even had to cut them out on social media when they tried to come back in my life. Fuck that.

ELFs Gone Wild – ‘mostly women’ arrested at Columbia

Authorities are beginning to recognize a phenomenon I have been documenting for years, namely the threat to Democracy posed by ELFs – Educated Liberal Females. During the George Floyd riots, ELFs comprised the clear majority of protesters, but males dominated the shock troops, the ones willing to confront the police and risk arrest.

A Fox News headline from Friday suggests our historically docile ELFs may be juicing up on steroids: “Mostly women arrested in Columbia University library takeover: NYPD.” As Fox reported, “In total, the NYPD made 80 arrests – 19 males and 61 females, according to a source. A source also said at least 50 of the 80 protesters arrested were Columbia University students.”

According to witnesses, the protesters climbed on desks and chanted “Free Palestine.” They renamed – at least for one brief whiny moment – the Butler Library “Basel Al-Araj Popular University” and demanded that Columbia University divest from Israel. In the course of storming building, they injured two campus police and two NYPD officers.

It figures that it’s liberal women. They are the 5th column of our country anyway

AOTW

Done in tribute to Denny, the Grouchy Old Cripple.

This week, there were lots of options.

First, there was the towel head wearing Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. who said, “”Our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country. We should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”

James Carville said that she’s pissing off about 33 percent of their voting base and to stop being a dumbass with a big mouth. STFU with your comments.

Then, there is Angel Reese and her Mom. They can’t stand that Caitlin Clark is better, more famous, and people like her better. She came out with this gem:

In a post that’s been seen nearly 900,000 times on social media platform X, according to X’s public metrics, Webb Reese cryptically remarked: “Aww that certain fan base (white people) looking in the stands celebrating ‘attendance’ while others are looking up in the rafters celebrating championship banners.

In opposing games this week, twice as many people attended the Fever game than the one Reese played in.

But for supreme assholiness, no one can top Michelle Obama who spent the week complaining about her oppressed life and her husband.

First, Michelle Obama says she’s back in therapy as she begins her “transition” to the “next phase” of her life. I guess she can finally be a man, or be a man again depending on who you believe.

She’s 60 now and had such a hard life. She went to elite schools, has 3 multi-million dollar houses, and has sponged off of the American taxpayers for the last 17 years.

How insufferable can Michelle Obama get? I suppose it makes sense — her fame has always been tied to her husband, and now she’s grappling with the fact that she’s no longer the center of attention. Her attempt to stay relevant, like that flop of a podcast with her brother, hasn’t exactly set the world on fire.

Michelle “Big Mike” Obama said on her failing podcast that she is very resentful that while she got to live for free in the world’s most famous mansion rent-free for eight years and had many of her meals paid for by the taxpayers, and also had most of her travel costs covered, she still had to use some of her own money for routine food shopping and when she and Obama flew on the taxpayer-provided Air Force One to foreign vacation spots, she had to pay commercial rates to fly her kids with her.

Foul, miserable beast of a “woman.”

Megyn Kelly reminded me: Remember when Obama was being groomed for the presidency and the entire Democrat Party rallied to stuff money in his pockets? For Michelle, the corrupt Chicago Democrat Machine phonied-up a fake sinecure for Michelle supposedly working for a hospital. She was paid $200,000 per year or something like that, despite being a very average, no-account (DEI) lawyer.

And yet she complains. She wasn’t given enough free stuff and enough corrupt money. It’s racist that she wasn’t given more.

So once again Michelle Obama, you are the asshole of the week.

Europe’s Anti-American Shift: Now Globalists Are The Saviors Of The West?

Nationalism is villainous and globalists are the heroes? It’s a propaganda message that has been building since the end of World War II and the creation of globalist institutions like the UN, the IMF, World Banks, etc. By the 1970s there was a concerted and dangerous agenda to acclimate the western world to interdependency; not just dependency on imports and exports, but dependency of currency trading, treasury purchases and interbank wealth transfer systems like SWIFT.

This was the era when corporations began outsourcing western manufacturing to third world countries. This is when the dollar was fully decoupled from gold. When the IMF introduced the SDR basket system. When the decade long stagflationary crisis began.

This was when the World Economic Forum was founded. The Club of Rome and their climate change agenda. When numerous globalists started talking within elitist publications and white papers talking about a one world economy and a one world government (under their control, of course). By the 1990s everything was essentially out in the open and the plan was clear:

Their intention was to destroy national sovereignty and bring in an age of total global centralization. One of the most revealing quotes on the plan comes from Clinton Administration Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbot, who stated in Time magazine in 1992 that:

In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority… National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.”

He adds in the same article:

“…The free world formed multilateral financial institutions that depend on member states’ willingness to give up a degree of sovereignty. The International Monetary Fund can virtually dictate fiscal policies, even including how much tax a government should levy on its citizens. The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade regulates how much duty a nation can charge on imports. These organizations can be seen as the protoministries of trade, finance and development for a united world.”

The globalists use international trade controls as a way to ensnare competing economies, forcing them to become homogeneous. They take away the self reliance of nations and pressure them to conform to global trade standards. It’s important to understand that they view centralized dominance of trade as a primary tool for eventually obtaining their new world order.

The idea of a country going off the plantation and initiating unilateral tariffs is unheard of. The notion of countries producing their own necessities is absurd. As least, until 2025.

One of the most humorous and bewildering side effects of the Trump Administration’s policy rollout is the scramble by the political left (especially in Europe) to portray themselves as “rebel heroes fighting for freedom” in the face of a supposedly tyrannical dictatorship. Of course, these are globalists and cultural Marxists we’re dealing with, so their definitions of “freedom” and “tyranny” are going to be irreparably skewed.

The EU elites have truly lost the plot when it comes to their message on “democracy”. Today, many European nations are spiraling into classical authoritarianism, yet they’re pretending as if they’re in a desperate fight for freedom.

I’ve heard it said that authoritarianism is the pathology of recognition. One could also say that it’s the pathology of affirmation – It’s not enough for the offending movement to be recognized as dominant, the population must embrace it, joyfully, as if it is the only thing they care about. This is the underlying goal of globalism: To force the masses to love it like a religion.

But to be loved by the people, they have to believe that globalism is their savior. They have to believe that globalists are somehow saving the world. Enter the new world order theater brought to us by The Economist. The magazine, partially owned by the Rothschild family, has long been a propaganda hub for globalism. They recently published an article titled ‘The Thing About Europe: It’s The Actual Land Of The Free Now’.

Yes, this is laughable given the fact that many European governments are currently hunting down and jailing people for online dissent. Mass open immigration is suffocating western culture on the continent. Violent crime is skyrocketing. Not to mention, the new trend among EU governments is to arrest right leaning political opponents to stop them from winning elections.

Blue Origin ASS-Tronauts, A Waste Of Time In Space And A Stunt

This proved why they sent men to the moon.

Monday’s Blue Origin mission, touted as a historic all-female crew flight, was nothing more than a laughable spectacle.

Six women, including pop star Katy Perry, took a brief trip, barely reaching the edge of space.

This so-called milestone was the ultimate virtue-signaling stunt. It’s being celebrated as a ground-breaking achievement, but let’s be real: It was a glorified amusement park ride.

Unlike even the most bare bones episode of “Star Trek,” this wasn’t a mission of scientific discovery or exploration. It was more akin to a glorified Disney World attraction (almost quite literally), a joyride for the elite that Blue Origin dressed up as a feminist triumph. The women were mere passengers, not astronauts, with no technical role in the flight.

The New Shepard rocket is fully automated, per ABC News. It could have carried toddlers, monkeys, or even Democratic lawmakers, and the outcome wouldn’t have changed one iota. The idea that this stunt advances women in STEM is laughable — it’s a complete mockery of what real astronauts endure.

Let’s break down the absurdity. The entire flight lasted just 11 minutes, according to NBC News, with only a brief window of zero-gravity time. Yet, as the footage reveals, much of that precious time was spent … mugging for the cameras.

One X user noted how much of “a waste” this entire stunt was:

“So much time worried about the cameras around them instead [of] looking out at the world,” the X user posted.

This wasn’t about experiencing the awe of space so much as it was about curating the perfect social media moment, and social media users were not fooled.

The footage reveals a deeper disconnect. These women weren’t chosen for their expertise but for their ability to market Blue Origin’s brand. They’re “storytellers,” as Sánchez put it, per Vanity Fair, meant to sell the experience through journalism, film, and song.

But what story are they telling? One of privilege and vanity, not exploration. The capsule’s windows offered a rare view of Earth from above the Kármán line, yet the crew seemed more interested in their own reflections.

Then there’s the cringe-worthy moment at roughly 42 seconds in the video, where a voice — quite possibly Katy Perry’s — exclaims, “Oh my goddess!” The phrase, dripping with performative blasphemy, can truly be summed up in two words: ridiculously evil.

This isn’t the first time we’ve called out this farce. Yesterday, we reported on Perry’s post-flight comments, which perfectly illustrated the shallow nature of this stunt. Her actions in the capsule only reinforce that narrative.

The backlash isn’t just about what was said and done in regards to this glorified photo op. It was, believe it or not, also about what these women wore.

Europe’s Attitude Towards America (Is Shitty)

My wife’s side of the family lives in Scandinavia. They say that soccer/Football is Europe’s favorite sport. It’s not. Trashing America is. They are further left than the Portland crazies. I’m so tired of their shit that I won’t even discuss it with them anymore. I do better in Portland with the lefties than I do with them. I had to cut them off of social media it was so ballistic.

They have gone ballistic now over Trump and his policies. Next, My neighbor is canceling a trip to Italy this summer because she doesn’t want to hear this same shit from her family living there. It’s identical. They are offended that we don’t act like Europeans.

Why?

Because of (at least) 2 reasons I can think of. There are dozens more, but I don’t want to write a book.

  1. They act like they are morally superior just because they have been around longer.
  2. They are now going to have to pay for their own protection and can’t soak the US on exports with the latest Trump policies.

He’s living rent-free in their heads and they trash him consistently.

They really haven’t contributed anything close to what the US has done to humanity other than they were good at starting World Wars last century. I’m not denigrating cool cars, fat reducing drugs, and some other stuff, but it’s not close. How many countries put men on the moon without computers?

Look at the churches in Europe. They are museums instead of places of worship. Just like Europe, they were built centuries ago, and the only Europeans who are leading the world in just about everything now are Americans.

But let’s dive deeper.

The European veil of leftist intellectual and moral superiority is starting to crumble. In recent weeks, we’ve seen Europe begin to take responsibility for its defense, the climate crazies seeing many of their goals collapsing under the weight of the twin realities of science and economics, and the rise of conservative politicians who are seeking an end to the immigration invasion. Zeitenwende in German means the end of an era or turning point in history. Europe’s possible return to sanity will be our story today.

Europe is now fully awake to the fact that the U.S. is not their on-call military, and they are now genuinely worried, not just performatively so, about Russia. European nations know now that they are, for all intents and purposes, at war, primarily armed with a checkbook and too little actual military hardware. Thanks to decades of cradle-to-grave benefits, in addition to their reliance on the U.S. for their defense, Europe essentially has no functional militaries.

As just one example of how this works, in 2014, when a hijacked aircraft was about to fly over Swiss territory, Switzerland was unable to police its own territory, relying instead on the French and Italians. In fact, when the French military called the Swiss to have them intercept the airliner, they got an answering service saying they were closed for the weekend and asking them to leave a message. That one anecdote explains so much more.

Image created using AI.

Another aberration: Germany, Denmark, and Sweden allow their soldiers to join labor unions! You can’t make this up. Reality Bites.

When it comes to funding their defense, EU countries have two fundamental problems: 1. They all have low birth rates within their established native populations. 2. Their ability to provide those cradle-to-the-grave benefits has meant that European nations do not have money for guns and butter. Today, Europe is a paper tiger unable to wage modern sustained warfare.

European nations are trying to change, but it may be too little, too late. Germany has approved a €1 trillion spending package, marking its most ambitious defense initiative since World War II. EU-wide efforts include the “ReArm Europe Plan,” which aims to mobilize €800 billion for defense by 2030. This plan focuses on enhancing military readiness and supporting the European defense industry. NATO nations have increased their defense budgets, with 23 out of 32 members meeting the alliance’s 2% GDP spending guideline by the end of 2024.

As another example of the European leftist mindset, one unanchored to reality, let’s talk about the grand pronouncement from government-subsidized Airbus and the EU that, by 2050, new aircraft would be required to be zero emission. To those knowledgeable about airplanes and their development, this was always nonsense. Aviation Week published as much in its Viewpoint editorial.

After Europe and the rest of the world have spent tens of billions of dollars/Euros on electric, hydrogen, and clean fuel initiatives such as SAF, the balloon is bursting with the realities of science and economics. Airbus is giving up on hydrogen, and several other electric/battery technology companies are declaring bankruptcy.

The reality is that less than 2% of aviation fuels are SAF today, and the cost is as much as 4-10 times more than the jet-A fuel it replaces. Europe, being Europe, doesn’t see a problem. Reduced to its essentials, the Europeans said, “We’ll tax tickets to subsidize SAF.”

French authorities have admitted this will cause a massive drop in passenger traffic. Tres bon! Fewer passengers mean fewer flights and planes and further the green crazies who want to see an end to taking trips by plane anyway. Predictably, this nonsense is reaching its natural point of failure. The Emperor is now standing naked in front of all.

Finally, although those in power are fighting viciously, the European people are moving from center-left to center-right, especially regarding immigration. The center-right victor in Germany’s recent elections, Friedrich Merz, promised a radical crackdown on migration during his campaign, proposing that all illegal aliens be turned away at the border. Jens Spahn, a German parliament member, emphasized the need to “secure Europe’s external borders“ and strengthen Frontex’s mandate to ensure freedom within the Schengen area.

Greece and Croatia have been accused of forcibly returning migrants, a practice known as “pushbacks.” The Poland-Belarus border reports highlight systemic pushbacks, with migrants being forcibly returned to Belarus under harsh conditions. This reflects Poland’s firm stance on controlling illegal crossings. Some European nations have introduced laws to expedite deportations and limit asylum applications, signaling a shift towards stricter immigration policies.

One last thing. Trump’s recent tariff moves have scared Europeans. With a trade imbalance of over $200 billion, Europe has little choice but to negotiate from a position of weakness. Europe is dependent on a lot of U.S. tech, banking, and military hardware—Europe’s inability to rise to challenges further cements America’s advantage.

Say what you will, but you can thank President Trump for getting Europe on the move!

Celebrities Are Just Dumbasses – ‘Snow White’s initial earnings are dismal considering the film cost more than $250 million to make.’

‘Snow White’ Star Wishes Harm to MAGA, then is Shocked when Woke Film Flops

March 23, 2025

Rachel Zegler
Rachel Zegler as ‘Snow White’ / IMAGE: Walt Disney Studios via YouTube

(Luis CornelioHeadline USADisney’s live-action remake of Snow White appears poised to rank among the studio’s worst-performing films in recent years, according to box office numbers reviewed by the Daily Mail

Starring actress-turned-leftist activist Rachel Zegler, the movie has earned just $3.5 million in Thursday previews and is expected to bring in from $45 million to $55 million during its opening weekend—far below $95 million made by the live-action remake of Little Mermaid.

Snow White’s initial earnings are striking considering the film cost more than $250 million to make, according to the Mail

The movie, most of which was shot in 2022, has been mired in controversy from the start, with several re-shoots and anti-Trump controversies delaying its release.

Additionally, Disney has been accused of making the movie woke in a bid to send a political message.

(Spoilers Warning)

In the remake, Snow White is portrayed as an empowered figure who no longer depends on Prince Charming to break the Evil Queen’s curse.

The film notably omits the classic Someday My Prince Will Come and features computer-generated versions of the dwarves—rather than actual little people.

DISNEY SING-ALONGS | Someday My Prince Will Come - Snow White Lyric Video | Official Disney UK

Cleary, this snotty apology didn’t do the trick. The movie is a total flop.

From the weirdly militant empowerment script to the CGI dwarves who looked like rejected extras from an Activia commercial, this movie was doomed from the start. Disney couldn’t even decide what race—or species—the characters were supposed to be. We got a Hispanic German princess who hates romance, saddled up with seven woke bandits who look like they wandered in from an Antifa street theater production.

While the studio was busy spinning a color wheel to balance skin tones and checking off pronouns like it was DEI Bingo Night, they forgot about little things like story, heart, and watchability.

The result was a film so bland, awkward, and desperate to prove its political correctness that it forgot to be fun. Or magical. Or even remotely coherent.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t just about one bad movie. This is what happens when corporate entertainment gets hijacked by activism. Just like everything else in America—medicine, education, even the judiciary—once it goes woke, it goes straight to hell.

In Hollywood’s case, movies stopped being magical escapes, and the artistic part morphed into painful, patronizing “cat lady lectures.” And that’s not an exaggeration—even James Carville, the baldheaded Cajun Dem whisperer, admitted the Left has a “preachy female” problem. Honestly, that was being generous. The truth is that these left-wing women sound like nagging hall monitors with a superiority complex. Women like Rachel Zegler don’t inspire—they lecture. They scold. They dictate how we should think, vote, love, and live.

And they always deliver the lecture in the same tone: smug, joyless, and without a single spark of soul. Always, always dead behind the eyes.

It’s no wonder no one wants to buy a ticket. We go to the movies to escape, not to be emotionally waterboarded by some twenty-something dip who thinks she’s smarter and more evolved than the rest of us. If we wanted a finger-wagging sermon, we’d go to brunch with an MSNBC reporter.

The result of this “Ted Talk” attitude is a box office graveyard full of preachy, unwatchable flops that feel more like punishment than entertainment. At this point, most Americans would rather chow down on a poison apple than sit through another two-hour lecture on female empowerment, climate justice, and how Prince Charming is actually a creepy stalker.

So in the end, here lies Disney’s Snow Woke—face down in the enchanted forest, poisoned by its own bloated ego and insufferable politics.

No prince. No love story. No charm. No audience.

All that’s left is a sad little kingdom of ashes and seven confused little virtue signals wandering through the wreckage, clutching their diversity checklists and wondering why the magic never happened.

Spoiler alert: the magic choked to death on its own moral superiority.

How Barack Obama Built An Omnipotent Thought-Control Machine… And How It Was Destroyed

Rapid Onset Political Enlightenment

If anyone in the future cares enough to write an authentic history of the 2024 presidential campaign, they might begin by noting that American politics exists downstream of American culture, which is a deep and broad river. Like any river, American culture follows a particular path, which has been reconfigured at key moments by new technologies. In turn, these technologies, which redefine both space and time—canals and lakes, the postal system, the telegraph, railroads, radio and later television, the internet, and most recently the networking of billions of people in real time on social media platforms—set the rules by which stories are communicated, audiences are configured, and individuals define themselves.

Something big changed sometime after the year 2000 in the way we communicated with each other, and the means by which we absorbed new information and formed a working picture of the world around us. What changed can be understood as the effect of the ongoing transition from the world of 20th-century media to our current digital landscape. This once-every-five-centuries revolution would have large effects, ones we have only just begun to assimilate, and which have largely rendered the assumptions and accompanying social forms of the past century obsolete, even as tens of millions of people, including many who imagine themselves to reside near the top of the country’s social and intellectual pyramids, continue to imagine themselves to be living in one version or another of the long 20th century that began with the advent of a different set of mass communications technologies, which included the telegraph, radio, and film.

The time was ripe, in other words, for a cultural revolution—which would, according to the established patterns of American history, in turn generate a political one.

I first became interested in the role of digital technology in reshaping American politics a decade ago, when I reported on the selling of Barack Obama’s Iran deal for The New York Times Magazine. By the time I became interested in the subject, the outcome of Obama’s campaign to sell the deal, which had become the policy cornerstone of his second term in office, was a fait accompli. The Deal seemed odd to me, not only because American Jews were historically a key player in the Democratic Party—providing outsized numbers of voters, party organizers and publicists, in addition to huge tranches of funding for its campaigns—but because the Deal seemed to actively undermine the core assumptions of U.S. security architecture in the Middle East, whose goals were to ensure the steady flow of Middle Eastern oil to global markets while keeping U.S. troops out of the region. A Middle East in which the U.S. actively “balanced” a revisionist anti-American power like Iran against traditional U.S. allies like Saudi Arabia and Israel seemed guaranteed to become a more volatile region that would require exactly the kinds of active U.S. military intervention that Obama claimed to want to avoid. Nor did turning over major shipping lanes to Iran and its network of regional terror armies seem like a recipe for the steady flow of oil to global markets that in turn helped ensure the ability of U.S. trading partners in Europe and Asia to continue to buy U.S.-made goods. Seen through the lens of conventional American geopolitics, the Iran deal made little sense.

story

First, it usefully warned of the potential distance between an underlying reality and an invented reality that could be successfully messaged and managed from the White House, which suggested a new potential for a large-scale disaster like the war in Iraq, which I—like Rhodes and Obama—had opposed from its beginning.

Second, I wanted to show how the new messaging machinery actually operated—my theory being that it was probably a bad idea to allow young White House aides with MFA degrees to create “public opinion” from their iPhones and laptops, and to then present the results of that process as something akin to the outcome of the familiar 20th-century processes of reporting and analysis that had been entrusted to the so-called “fourth estate,” a set of institutions that was in the process of becoming captive to political verticals, which were in turn largely controlled by corporate interests like large pharmaceutical companies and weapons-makers. Hillary Clinton would soon inherit the machinery that Obama and his aides had built along with the keys to the White House. What would she do with it?

What I did not imagine at the time was that Obama’s successor in the White House would not be Hillary Clinton but Donald Trump. Nor did I foresee that Trump would himself become the target of a messaging campaign that would make full use of the machine that Obama had built, along with elements of the American security state. Being physically inside the White House, it turned out, was a mere detail of power; even more substantial power lay in controlling the digital switchboard that Obama had built, and which it turned out he still controlled.

During the Trump years, Obama used the tools of the digital age to craft an entirely new type of power center for himself, one that revolved around his unique position as the titular, though pointedly never-named, head of a Democratic Party that he succeeded in refashioning in his own image—and which, after Hillary’s loss, had officially supplanted the “centrist” Clinton neoliberal machine of the 1990s. The Obama Democratic Party (ODP) was a kind of balancing mechanism between the power and money of the Silicon Valley oligarchs and their New York bankers; the interests of bureaucratic and professional elites who shuttled between the banks and tech companies and the work of bureaucratic oversight; the ODP’s own sectarian constituencies, which were divided into racial and ethnic categories like “POC,” “MENA,” and “Latinx,” whose bizarre bureaucratic nomenclature signaled their inherent existence as top-down containers for the party’s new-age spoils system; and the world of billionaire-funded NGOs that provided foot-soldiers and enforcers for the party’s efforts at social transformation.

It was the entirety of this apparatus, not just the ability to fashion clever or impactful tweets, that constituted the party’s new form of power. But control over digital platforms, and what appeared on those platforms, was a key element in signaling and exercising that power. The Hunter Biden laptop story, in which party operatives shanghaied 51 former high U.S. government intelligence and security officials to sign a letter that all but declared the laptop to be a fake, and part of a Russian disinformation plot—when most of those officials had very strong reasons to know or believe that the laptop and its contents were real—showed how the system worked. That letter was then used as the basis for restricting and banning factual reports about the laptop and its contents from digital platforms, with the implication that allowing readers to access those reports might be the basis for a future accusation of a crime. None of this censorship was official, of course: Trump was in the White House, not Obama or Biden. What that demonstrated was that the real power, including the power to control functions of the state, lay elsewhere.

Even more unusual, and alarming, was what followed Trump’s defeat in 2020. With the Democrats back in power, the new messaging apparatus could now formally include not just social and institutional pressure but the enforcement arms of the federal bureaucracy, from the Justice Department to the FBI to the SEC. As the machine ramped up, censoring dissenting opinions on everything from COVID, to DEI programs, to police conduct, to the prevalence and the effects of hormone therapies and surgeries on youth, large numbers of people began feeling pressured by an external force that they couldn’t always name; even greater numbers of people fell silent. In effect, large-scale changes in American mores and behavior were being legislated outside the familiar institutions and processes of representative democracy, through top-down social pressure machinery backed in many cases by the threat of law enforcement or federal action, in what soon became known as a “whole of society” effort.

At every turn over the next four years, it was like a fever was spreading, and no one was immune. Spouses, children, colleagues, and supervisors at work began reciting, with the force of true believers, slogans they had only learned last week, and that they were very often powerless to provide the slightest real-world evidence for. These sudden, sometimes overnight, appearances of beliefs, phrases, tics, looked a lot like the mass social contagions of the 1950s—one episode after another of rapid-onset political enlightenment replacing the appearance of dance crazes or Hula-Hoops.

During the Trump years, Obama used the tools of the digital age to craft an entirely new type of power center for himself, one that revolved around his unique position as the titular, though pointedly never-named, head of a Democratic Party that he succeeded in refashioning in his own image.

Just as in those commercially fed crazes, there was nothing accidental, mystical or organic about these new thought-viruses. Catchphrases like “defund the police,” “structural racism,” “white privilege,” “children don’t belong in cages,” “assigned gender” or “stop the genocide in Gaza” would emerge and marinate in meme-generating pools like the academy or activist organizations, and then jump the fence—or be fed—into niche groups and threads on Twitter or Reddit. If they gained traction in those spaces, they would be adopted by constituencies and players higher up in the Democratic Party hierarchy, who used their control of larger messaging verticals on social media platforms to advance or suppress stories around these topics and phrases, and who would then treat these formerly fringe positions as public markers for what all “decent people” must universally believe; those who objected or stood in the way were portrayed as troglodytes and bigots. From there, causes could be messaged into reality by state and federal bureaucrats, NGOs, and large corporations, who flew banners, put signs on their bathrooms, gave new days off from work, and brought in freshly minted consultants to provide “trainings” for workers—all without any kind of formal legislative process or vote or backing by any significant number of voters.

What mattered here was no longer Lippmann’s version of “public opinion,” rooted in the mass audiences of radio and later television, which was assumed to correlate to the current or future preferences of large numbers of voters—thereby assuring, on a metaphoric level at least, the continuation of 19th-century ideas of American democracy, with its deliberate balance of popular and representational elements in turn mirroring the thrust of the Founders’ design. Rather, the newly minted digital variant of “public opinion” was rooted in the algorithms that determine how fads spread on social media, in which mass multiplied by speed equals momentum—speed being the key variable. The result was a fast-moving mirror world that necessarily privileges the opinions and beliefs of the self-appointed vanguard who control the machinery, and could therefore generate the velocity required to change the appearance of “what people believe” overnight.

The unspoken agreements that obscured the way this social messaging apparatus worked—including Obama’s role in directing the entire system from above—and how it came to supplant the normal relationships between public opinion and legislative process that generations of Americans had learned from their 20th-century poli-sci textbooks, made it easy to dismiss anyone who suggested that Joe Biden was visibly senile; that the American system of government, including its constitutional protections for individual liberties and its historical system of checks and balances, was going off the rails; that there was something visibly unhealthy about the merger of monopoly tech companies and national security agencies with the press that threatened the ability of Americans to speak and think freely; or that America’s large cultural systems, from education, to science and medicine, to the production of movies and books, were all visibly failing, as they fell under the control of this new apparatus. Millions of Americans began feeling increasingly exhausted by the effort involved in maintaining parallel thought-worlds in which they expressed degrees of fealty to the new order in the hope of keeping their jobs and avoiding being singled out for ostracism and punishment, while at the same time being privately baffled or aghast by the absence of any persuasive logic behind the changes they saw—from the breakdown of law and order in major cities, to the fentanyl epidemic, to the surge of perhaps 20 million unvetted illegal immigrants across the U.S. border, to widespread gender dysphoria among teenage girls, to sudden and shocking declines in public health, life expectancy, and birth rates.

Until the fever broke. Today, Donald Trump is victorious, and Obama is the loser. In fact, he looks physically awful—angry and gaunt, after a summer and fall spent lecturing Black men, and Americans in general, on their failure to vote enthusiastically enough for his chosen heir, Kamala Harris, the worst major party presidential candidate in modern American history. The totality of Obama’s failure left party donors feeling cheated. Even George Clooney now disavows him. Meanwhile, Trump and his party are in control of the White House, the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Supreme Court.

But reducing the question of what happened to Barack Obama’s new American system to the results of a single election is in fact to trivialize the startling nature and ambition of what he built, as well as the shocking suddenness with which it has all gone up in smoke. The master political strategist of his era didn’t simply back a losing horse. Rather, the entire structure he had erected over more than a decade, and which was to have been his legacy, for good or ill, has collapsed entirely. At home and abroad, Obama’s grand vision has been decisively rejected by the people whose lives it was intended to reorder. The mystery is how and why neither Obama nor his army of technocratic operatives and retainers understood the fatal flaw in the new system—until it was too late.

The theory and practice on which the rapid-onset political enlightenment of our digital era was based did not, in fact, begin with Barack Obama. He was—at first, at least—the product being sold. Nor did it originate with the digital technology that has provided the mirror world with its startlingly speedy and effective and nearly universal circuitry.

The methodology on which our current universe of political persuasion is based was born before the internet or iPhones existed, in an attempt to do good and win elections while overcoming America’s historical legacy of slavery and racism. Its originator, David Axelrod, was born to be a great American advertising man—his father was a psychologist, and his mother was a top executive at the legendary Mad Men-era New York City ad agency of Young & Rubicam. Instead, following his father’s suicide, Axelrod left New York City for Chicago, where he attended the University of Chicago, and then became a political reporter for the Chicago Tribune. He then became a political consultant who specialized in electing Black mayoral candidates in white-majority cities. In 2008, Axelrod ran the successful insurgent campaigns that first got Barack Obama the Democratic Party nomination over Hillary Clinton, and then elevated him to the White House.

Axelrod first tested his unique understanding of the theory and practice of public opinion, which he called “permission structures,” in his successful 1989 campaign to elect a young Black state senator named Mike White as the mayor of Cleveland. Where Black mayoral candidates like Coleman Young in Detroit and Marion Barry in Washington had typically achieved power in the 1970s and 1980s by using racially charged symbols and language to turn out large numbers of Black voters in opposition to existing power structures, which they portrayed as inherently racist, White’s history-making campaign attempted to do the opposite: To win by convincing a mix of educated, higher-income white voters to vote for the Black candidate. In fact, White won 81% of the vote in the city’s predominantly white wards while capturing only 30% of the vote in the city’s Black majority wards, which favored his opponent and former mentor on the city council, George C. Forbes, a Black candidate who ran a more traditional “Black power” campaign.

Permission structures, a term taken from advertising, was Axelrod’s secret sauce, the organizing concept by which he strategized campaigns for his clients. Where most consultants built their campaigns around sets of positive and negative ads that promoted the positive qualities of their clients and highlighted unfavorable aspects of their opponents’ characters and records, Axelrod’s unique area of specialization required a more specific set of tools. To succeed, Axelrod needed to convince white voters to overcome their existing prejudices and vote for candidates whom they might define as “soft on crime” or “lacking competence.” As an excellent 2008 New Republic profile of Axelrod—surprisingly, the only good profile of Axelrod that appears to exist anywhere—put it: “‘David felt there almost had to be a permission structure set up for certain white voters to consider a black candidate,’ explains Ken Snyder, a Democratic consultant and Axelrod protégé. In Cleveland, that was the city’s daily newspaper, The Plain Dealer. Largely on the basis of The Plain Dealer’s endorsement and his personal story, White went on to defeat Forbes with 81 percent of the vote in the city’s white wards.”

In other words, while most political consultants worked to make their guy look good or the other guy look bad by appealing to voters’ existing values, Axelrod’s strategy required convincing voters to act against their own prior beliefs. In fact, it required replacing those beliefs, by appealing to “the type of person” that voters wanted to be in the eyes of others. While the academic social science and psychology literature on permission structures is surprisingly thin, given the real-world significance of Axelrod’s success and everything that has followed, it is most commonly defined as a means of providing “scaffolding for someone to embrace change they might otherwise reject.” This “scaffolding” is said to consist of providing “social proof” (“most people in your situation are now deciding to”) “new information,” “changed circumstances,” “compromise.” As one author put it, “with many applications to politics, one could argue that effective Permission Structures will shift the Overton Window, introducing new conversations into the mainstream that might previously have been considered marginal or fringe.”

By itself, the idea of uniting new theories of mass psychology with new technology in efforts of political persuasion was nothing new. Walter Lippmann based Public Opinion in part on the insights of the Vienna-born advertising genius Edward Bernays, Sigmund Freud’s nephew and the inventor of modern PR. The arrival of television brought political advertising and Madison Avenue even closer together, a fact noted by Norman Mailer in his classic essay “Superman in the Supermarket,” which channeled the insights of Vance Packard’s The Hidden Persuaders. In 1968, the writer Joe McGinniss shocked at least some readers with The Selling of the President, his account of the making of Richard Nixon’s television commercials which showed Madison Avenue admen successfully selling the product of Nixon like dish soap. The title of “political consultant” was itself a creation and a consequence of the television age, signaling the triumph of the ad man over the old-fashioned backroom title of “campaign manager”—a function introduced to national politics by Martin Van Buren, the “Little Magician” from Kinderhook, New York, who built the Democratic Party and elected Andrew Jackson to the Presidency.

It is not surprising then, that following Axelrod’s 1993 success in electing Harold Washington as the first Black mayor of Chicago, Barack Obama—already imagining himself as a future president of the United States—would seek out the Chicago-based consulting wizard to run his campaigns. But Axelrod wasn’t interested. In fact, Obama would spend more than a decade chasing Axelrod—who was far better connected in Chicago than Obama was—in the hopes that he would provide the necessary magic for his political rise. The other Chicago kingmaker that Obama courted was Jesse Jackson Sr., whose Operation PUSH was the city’s most powerful Black political machine, and who liked Obama even less than Axelrod did. The reality was that Obama did best with rich whites, like the board members of the Joyce Foundation and the Pritzker family.

When Axelrod finally agreed to come onboard, he found that Obama was the perfect candidate to validate his theories of political salesmanship on a national scale. First, he engineered Obama’s successful 2004 Senate campaign—a victory made possible by the old-school maneuver of unsealing Republican candidate Jack Ryan’s divorce papers, on the request of Axelrod’s former colleagues at the Chicago Tribune—and then, very soon afterward, Obama’s campaigns for the presidency, which formally commenced in 2007.

It worked. Once in office, though, Axelrod and Obama found that the institutions of public opinion—namely the press, on which Axelrod’s permission structure framework depended—were decaying quickly in the face of the internet. Newspapers like the Cleveland Plain Dealer, as well as national television networks like CBS, which Axelrod relied on as validators, were now barely able to pay their bills, having lost their monopoly on viewers and advertisers to the internet and to newly emerging social media platforms.

With Obama’s reelection campaign on the horizon in 2012, the White House’s attention turned to selling Obamacare, which would become the signature initiative of the president’s first term in office. Without a healthy, well-functioning press corps that could command the attention and allegiance of voters, the White House would have to manufacture its own world of validators to sell the president’s plan on social media—which it successfully did. The White House sales effort successfully disguised the fact that the new health care program was in fact a new social welfare program that would lower rather than raise the standard of care for most Americans with preexisting health insurance, while providing tens of billions of dollars in guaranteed payments to large pharmaceutical companies and pushing those costs onto employers. Americans would continue to pay more for health care than citizens of any other first world country, while receiving less.

As a meeting of Axelrod’s theories with the mechanics of social media, though, the selling of Obamacare—which continued seamlessly into Obama’s reelection campaign against Mitt Romney—was a match made in heaven. So much so, that by 2013 it had become the Obama White House’s reigning theory of governance. A Reuters article from 2013 helpfully explained how the system worked: “In Obama’s jargon, getting to yes requires a permission structure.” Asked about the phrase, White House spokesman Jay Carney explained that it was “common usage” around the White House, dating back to Obama’s 2008 campaign. The occasion for the article was Obama’s use of the phrase permission structure at a press conference in order to explain how he hoped to break an impasse with congressional Republicans, for which he had been roundly mocked as an out-of-touch egghead by D.C. columnists including Maureen Dowd and Dana Milbank, and by staffers for Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell.

The joke was on them. What the White House understood, and which I came to understand through my reporting on the Iran deal, was that social media—which was now the larger context in which former prestige “legacy” outlets like The New York Times and NBC News now operated—could now be understood and also made to function as a gigantic automated permission structure machine. Which is to say that, with enough money, operatives could create and operationalize mutually reinforcing networks of activists and experts to validate a messaging arc that would short-circuit traditional methods of validation and analysis, and lead unwary actors and audience members alike to believe that things that had never believed or even heard of before were in fact not only plausible, but already widely accepted within their specific peer groups.

The effect of the permission structure machine is to instill and maintain obedience to voices coming from outside yourself, regardless of the obvious gaps in logic and functioning that they create.

The Iran deal proved that, with the collapse of the reality-establishing function of professional media, which could no longer afford to field teams of independent, experienced reporters, a talented politician in the White House could indeed stand up his own reality, and use the mechanisms of peer-group pressure and aspirational ambition to get others to adopt it. In fact, the higher one climbed on the social and professional ladder, the more vulnerable to such techniques people turned out to be—making it easy to flip entire echelons of professionals within the country’s increasingly brittle and insecure elite, whose status was now being threatened by the pace and scope of technologically driven change that threatened to make both their expertise and also their professions obsolete. As a test of the use of social media as a permission structure machine, the Iran deal was therefore a necessary prelude to Russiagate, which marked the moment in which the “mainstream media” was folded into the social media machinery that the party controlled, as formerly respected names like “NBC News” or “Harvard professor Lawrence Tribe” were regularly advertised spouting absurdities backed by “top national security sources” and other validators—all of which could be activated or invented on the spot by clever aides with laptops, playing the world’s greatest video game.

Yet the extent to which reality was being regularly manipulated through the techniques of social psychology applied to the internet was not immediately apparent to outside observers—especially those who wished to see, or had long been conditioned to see, something else. The collapse of the press and the acceptance by flagship outlets of a new role as a megaphone for the Democratic Party meant that there were many fewer actual “outside observers” to blow the whistle. And in any event, Obama was on his way out—and Donald Trump, aka Orange Man Hitler, was on his way in.

The conspiratorial messaging campaign targeting Trump as a Kremlin-controlled “asset” who had been elected on direct orders from Vladimir Putin himself seemed more like the plot of a dark satire than something that rational political observers might endorse as a remotely plausible real-world event. Having reported on the Iran deal made it easy to see that Russiagate was a political op, being run according to a similar playbook, by many of the same people. Familiarity with the Iran deal made it easy for reporters at Tablet, particularly Lee Smith, to see Russiagate as a fraud from the beginning, and to see through the methods by which the hallucination was being messaged by the mainstream press.

What surprised me was how alone my colleagues were, though. The existence of dedicated journalistic observers who saw their allegiance as being to readers and not to any political party was itself a feature of a 20th-century system that was quickly going the way of the dodo. Observers who proclaimed their fealty to objective reporting practices and refused to identify with either political party no longer worked in the press—not after Trump was elected. To the extent that rational analysts of claims that the U.S. president was controlled by the Kremlin still existed, they worked in academic political science departments at distant state universities, and their voices were buried under an avalanche of permission structure propaganda amplified often several times a day on the front pages of The Washington Post and The New York Times, which would win Pulitzer Prizes for publishing nonsense.

Needless to say, the model of politics in which operatives are constantly running permission structure games on the body politic, assisted by members of the press and think tankers eager to be of service to the party, has more in common with pyramid schemes and high-pressure network-marketing scams than it does with reasoned democratic deliberation and debate. At this point, it hardly seems controversial to point out that such a model of politics is socially toxic.

What’s important to note are the specific conditions that had been set, and which turned this from the narrow campaign it might have been to a society-wide mass event—and which is why those who argued in these years that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party had anything like equal power were either evil or delusional or both. In the wake of Obama’s reelection in 2012, the defection of large swaths of the Silicon Valley elite from the Republican to the Democratic Party led to a tremendous influx of cash into the coffers of the Democratic Party and its associated penumbra of billionaire-funded foundations and NGOs, along with a new willingness of Silicon Valley titans to work directly with the White House—which after all, retained the power, in theory, to regulate their quasi-monopolies out of existence. In field after field, from sex and gender, to church attitudes toward homosexuality, to formerly apolitical sources of public information, to voting practices, to the internal politics of religious groups, to race politics, to what films Americans would watch and how they would henceforth be entertained, the oligarchs would do their part, by helping buy up once independent social spaces and torque them to function as parts of the party’s permission structure machine. The FBI would then do its part, by adopting political categories like “white supremacy” as chief domestic targets, and puppet groups in the vertical, like the ADL and the ACLU, would pretend to be objective watchdogs who just happened to come to the same conclusion.

Obamacare was followed by the Iran deal, which was followed by Russiagate, which was followed by COVID. Messaging around the pandemic was the fourth and most far-reaching permission structure game that was run by small clusters of operatives on the American public, resulting in the revocation of the most basic social rights—like the right to go outside your own home, or visit a dying parent or child in the hospital. COVID also proved to be an excuse for the largest wealth transfer in American history, comprising hundreds of billions of dollars, from the middle and working classes to the top 1%. Most ominously, COVID proved to be a means for remaking the American electoral system, as well as providing a platform for a series of would-be social revolutions in whose favor restrictions on public gatherings and laws against looting and public violence were suspended, due to manifestations of “public opinion” on social media.

As COVID provided cover for increasingly extreme and rapid manifestations of rapid political enlightenment, numbers of formerly quiescent citizens began to rebel against the new order. Unable to locate where the instructions were coming from, they blamed elites, medical authorities, the deep state, Klaus Schwab, the leadership of Black Lives Matter, Bill Gates, and dozens of other more or less nefarious players, but without being able to identity the process that kept generating new thought-contagions and giving them the seeming force of law. The game was in fact new enough that Donald Trump didn’t get it before it was too late for his reelection chances, championing lockdowns and COVID vaccines while failing to pay attention to the Democratic lawyers who were changing election laws in key states. Once Joe Biden was safely installed in the White House, Obama’s Democratic Party could look forward to smooth sailing—protected by new election laws, the party’s control over major information platforms, the FBI, and the White House, and a government-led campaign of lawfare against Trump. It was hard to see how the party could lose for at least another generation, if ever again.

By this late date in Western cultural history, the modern is itself a notably dated category. Whether it is a person or a thing or a style, we know exactly how it behaves, and how we are supposed to react. The modern is a character in an early Evelyn Waugh novel, unflappable in the face of the new. Then there is the conservative, who rejects the new in favor of the ancient verities of the Greeks or the Church. Both figures are rightfully comic, with an accompanying tinge of the tragic, or else they appear to be the other way around. The verdict is in the eye of the beholder, meaning you and me.

The permission structure machine that Barack Obama and David Axelrod built to replace the Democratic Party was in its essence neither modern nor conservative, though. Rather it is totalitarian in its essence, a device for getting people to act against their beliefs by substituting new and better beliefs through the top-down controlled and leveraged application of social pressure, which among other things eliminates the position of the spectator. The integrity of the individual is violated in order to further the superior interests of the superego of humanity, the party, which knows which beliefs are right and which are wrong. The party is the ghost in the machine, which appears to run on automatic pilot, using the human desire for companionship and social connection as fuel for an effort to detach individuals from their own desires and substitute the dictates of the party, which is granted the unlimited right to enforce its superior opinions on all of mankind.

Constructing a giant permission structure machine that would mechanize the formation of public opinion through social media was never David Axelrod’s intention. Axelrod wanted to help make society better by allowing white voters to obey the better angels of their nature and elect Black mayors, despite being racists. Everyone can agree that racism is bad, just like they can agree that poverty is bad, or disease is bad. The question is whether a given instance of racism or poverty or disease is so bad that, when it comes to eliminating or reducing their ill effects, all other human values, including the value of independent thought and feeling, should be trampled. If the answer is yes, you have placed your trust outside of the nexus of contingent human relationships into the hands of a larger, crushingly powerful machine that you believe might incarnate your idea of justice. That is totalitarianism, or as George Orwell put it in 1984, the image of “a boot stamping on a human face—forever.”

Every form of totalitarianism is unique. Nazi fascism was unique in its racist animus toward the Jews, who were responsible for the opposing sins of capitalism and communism alike, and also for the industrial efficiency in which the Nazi program of mass slaughter was carried out. Soviet communism was unique in that it lasted much longer than Nazism did, and for the distinctive type of cynicism to which it gave rise. If the end product of Nazism was Auschwitz, then the end product of Soviet communism was the humor of the breadline. Soviet cynicism was a natural product of how the Soviets decided to rule, which was to demand absolute external compliance to party dictates in word and deed while at the same time allowing its subjects a separate space to think their own thoughts—provided that they never acted on those thoughts. The natural outcome of the Soviet system was compliance without belief.

Twitter was worth more to Elon Musk than it was to anyone else with the money to pay for it. He understood Twitter and the permission structure machinery better than its would-be operators did.

The effect of the permission structure machine is to instill and maintain obedience to voices coming from outside yourself, regardless of the obvious gaps in logic and functioning that they create. The clinical term for this state is schizophrenia, which is a term that had a deep hold over the 20th-century modern literary and social imagination, from popular works like I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and Sybil to theorizing by R.D. Laing (The Divided Self) and Gilles Deleuze (Anti-Oedipus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia). Among the superior works of literature in this genre are Ken Kesey’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Sylvia Nasar’s A Beautiful Mind, the singular House of Leaves, Greg Bottoms’ memoir Angelhead and many dozens of other books. The expected reaction within the genre to hearing such voices is horror.

This was not always the case, though. Neither Greek nor Hebrew literature, which are the two great narrative streams out of which what we know today as Western culture was formed, appear to have any equivalent to what we identify today as internal monologue. Instead, they are filled with talking bushes, plants, and animals. Above all, they are filled with the voices of gods—including God—which talk to humans in nearly every physical location imaginable, from mountaintops to the Road to Damascus. Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel, Jesus, and Paul all heard voices. According to the Princeton University scholar Julian Jaynes, author of The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind, human consciousness did not arise as a chemical-biological byproduct of human evolution but is instead a learned process based on the recent development and elaboration of metaphorical language. Prior to the development of consciousness, Jaynes argues, humans operated under a previous mentality he called the bicameral (two-chambered) mind, where in place of an internal dialogue, bicameral people regularly experienced auditory hallucinations directing their actions.

What the permission structure machine seeks to do is to undo the millennia-long work of consciousness by once again locating consciousness outside of the self—but clothing it as an internal product via the mechanized propagation of what Marxists used to call “false consciousness.” But where the progenitors of “false consciousness” in the Marxist lexicon are villains, working on behalf of the capitalist order by preventing workers from being cognizant of their own interests, the mechanized permission structure machine offers the reverse: The “false consciousness” it seeks to propagate is a positive instrument of the party’s attempt to establish the reign of justice on earth. Which is why the natural outcome of the automation of permission structures is not humor, however cynical, but institutionalized schizophrenia, instantiated within the structure of the bicameral mind. No matter how the bots that animate the mechanism position themselves, for whatever low-end careerist purpose, the voices they listen to come from outside. They are incapable of being truth-tellers, because they have no truth to tell. They are creatures of the machine.

It took three powerful men, each of whom had the advantage of operating entirely in public, and with massive and obvious real-world consequences, to rupture the apparatus of false consciousness that Obama built. In doing so, they saved the world—for the moment, at least. While history will judge whether their achievements were lasting, it is clear that if they hadn’t acted as they did, we would still be living inside the machine.

The first of these men was Elon Musk, who is notable for having purchased Twitter in 2022, after Joe Biden had been safely installed in the White House, and the social media site appeared perhaps to be reaching the end of its usefulness, for what was presented at the time and since as the wildly overblown price of $44 billion. Twitter was hardly identical with the permission structure machine that Barack Obama, David Axelrod, David Plouffe, Dan Pfeiffer, Ben Rhodes, and the rest of Obama’s operatives constructed in their takeover of the Democratic Party. The machine they built was much, much bigger than any social media platform. However, due to its first mover advantage, and the role it played within the sociology of journalism and other alloyed professions, Twitter was positioned to play an obvious and key role in the work of social signaling and coordination by which the party’s permission structure machine functioned.

Twitter’s significance, as part of the party’s permission structure machinery, was key in part because, as the history of platforms and companies like Facebook, Google, Uber, Instagram. and TikTok shows, advantages of scale tend naturally toward localized monopolies. Twitter could play the signaling and coordinating function that it did in part because it was a monopoly, which is why Obama, Axelrod, Plouffe, etc. all had Twitter accounts. It’s why the FBI came on board Twitter, to ensure that the tilt of the platform was coordinated with the FBI’s role in the party’s “whole of society” censorship efforts—whether directed against “disinformation,” or COVID measures, or “white supremacy,” or Donald Trump, or “insurrectionists.” So why sell a key module in the permission structure machine to Elon Musk?

Part of the reason appears to be price. The $44 billion that Musk eventually paid appears to be at least twice what any other plausible team of bidders offered. It is certainly possible that having decided to sell Twitter, the company’s board was stuck—both practically and legally—when Musk decided that price was not an object, and that he was willing to massively outspend any other possible bidder. Twitter’s board, and whoever they consulted within the ODP vertical, may have imagined that Musk would find an excuse to pull out of the deal—which he appeared at several points to be doing, though his reluctance may well have been a negotiating tactic.

It is certainly plausible that someone in Obama’s universe saw the danger in selling Twitter to Musk. That it happened anyway suggests—as in the case of the lawfare campaign against Trump—that they hubristically believed in their own propagandistic accounts of their adversary as venal, corrupt, and weak, and of their own practical and moral superiority. Unable to think outside their own box, they may have reasonably expected that Musk could be constrained by the need to keep his advertisers by retaining the existing tilt of the platform’s algorithms for as long as the platform itself continued to matter. To keep Musk in line, the party could cut the platform’s advertising revenues by half or more at will by having its adjuncts in the censorship business label it a sinkhole of racism and depravity, and getting it banned from Europe and other global markets. As the reputational cost spread, Musk would have no choice but to eat a loss of tens of billions of dollars and sell, or else face the destruction of his other businesses—which the party could speed up by canceling contracts with NASA and other government agencies and opening multiple SEC and Justice Department investigations that would further augment his reputational risk—until he agreed to kiss the ring.

Where this analysis went wrong is the same place that the Obama team’s analysis of Trump went wrong: The wizards of the permission structure machine had become captives of the machinery that they built. Bullying large numbers of people into faddish hyperconformity by controlling the machinery of social approval may require both money and technique, but it is not art or thought. In fact, it is something like the opposite of thought. Lost in the hypercharged mirror world that they had created, they decided that having made themselves cool also made them right, and that evidence to the contrary could be safely dismissed as a “right-wing talking point.” Obama’s operatives shared the same character flaw as their master, a kind of brittle, Ivy League know-it-all-ness that demanded that they always be the smartest person in the room.

Musk, meanwhile, was entirely and sincerely his own man—a privilege that came in part from being the richest man in America, and in part from the nature of his businesses, which the Obama cadres appear to have misunderstood. Musk may have paid twice as much as the next-highest bidder for Twitter, if such a bidder actually ever existed. Except, it was also true that, as a business proposition, Twitter was worth more to Elon Musk than it was to anyone else with the money to pay for it. That’s because the value that Musk creates in his companies is a unique blend of high imagination and physical products which function as memes. In this area, at least, he understood Twitter and the permission structure machinery better than its would-be operators did. Buying a Tesla, or buying stock in Tesla, is different than buying a share of stock in GM or Daimler-Benz, or even Google and Facebook, because you are buying a share in Elon Musk—a 21st-century master technologist who is uniquely capable of imagining the very biggest things and turning them into physical realities. Musk’s companies are worth hundreds of billions of dollars because of Elon Musk’s unique ability to incarnate dreams and make teams of talented people believe them, too. His investors are buying pieces of those dreams, which are magic—components of a self-validating belief system that puts its faith in the power of the individual believer.

Faced with the party’s regime of increasing direct censorship over social media, Musk was aware, in a way his adversaries were not, that the party’s ambitions to control content meant that he was coming perilously close to losing control over his own personal dream space, which provides a large share of the value of his companies. Once Donald Trump, a former president of the United States, was thrown off Twitter, the equation became quite obvious: Either the party would control Twitter, in which case Elon Musk was next up for shadow-banning, fact-checking, and eventual exile, at a cost of however many hundreds of billions of dollars to his personal brand, i.e., his companies, or else Musk could assert his own control over that space, by buying Twitter. When measured against the likely losses that would result from being silenced and thrown off the site, and his likely subsequent difficulties in raising public and private capital, $44 billion was therefore an entirely reasonable cost for Musk to pay. The hitch in Musk’s plan to buy Twitter was that it relied on the party being stupid enough to sell it to him. Luckily, unbelievably, they were that stupid—while crowing loudly that Musk was a sucker.

It is clear by now that the Obama party were the suckers—not Musk. In fact, the party’s belated war on Twitter’s new owner only served to convince other Silicon Valley oligarchs that whatever reputational risks they might incur by backing Donald Trump would be outweighed by the direct risks that party weaponization of federal regulatory structures, which gave it effective control of markets and banks, would pose to their businesses. By letting Twitter go, and then making war on its new owner, in a belated attempt to get him to do their bidding, the Obama party showed both the scope of its ambition and also its hubris—a combination that split the country’s oligarchy on the eve of the key election that would have allowed the party to consolidate its power.

With Musk’s X now open to all comers, the party’s censorship apparatus was effectively dead. A new counter-permission structure machine was now erected, licensing all kinds of views, some of which were novel and welcome, and others of which were noxious. Which is how opinion in a free society is supposed to operate.

Elon Musk’s decision to buy Twitter was in turn a necessary precondition for the election of Donald Trump, which was in turn made possible by Trump’s own split-second decision on July 13, 2024, to turn his head fractionally to the right while delivering a speech in a field in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump’s head turn was a perfect example of an event that has no explanation outside the favor of the gods, or whatever modern equivalent involving wind factors and directional probabilities you might prefer to the word “God.” Trump was fated to win, just as Achilles was fated to overcome Hector, because the gods, or if you prefer the forces of cosmic randomness, were on his side, on that day, at that moment. That move not only saved his life by allowing him to escape an assassin’s bullet; it revitalized his chi and set in motion a series of subsequent events that generated a reordering of the entire world.

Then there was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gave the story a further epic dimension by returning to the original field of battle. Bibi, as you may recall, played the role of Obama’s piñata during the fight over the Iran deal, fated to go down to defeat by opposing the will of a sitting U.S. president on a foreign policy question that most Americans cared very little about. But this past summer, Netanyahu turned himself into the active party, with the means to reverse Obama’s achievement and unveil the origins of his power grab, by showing that the “peace deal” that he had sold to the American people—founded on the idea that Iran was itself a formidable adversary—was a mess of lies. Iran was not and never was a regional power, capable of “balancing” traditional American allies. It was a totalitarian shit hole regime that is deeply hated by its own people and throughout the region, entirely dependent on American backing in its efforts to gain a nuclear bomb.

Netanyahu’s decision to invade Rafah on May 6, 2024, was the culmination of two long and otherwise separate chains of events whose consequences will continue to reverberate throughout the Middle East, and also at home. Netanyahu had been promising to invade Rafah since February. The fact that he had not done so by May had become both a symbol of Israeli weakness and indecision in the face of a global onslaught of Jew-hatred, as well as the continuing solidity of the regional power structure established by Obama’s Iran deal. Within that structure, Israeli interests were held to be subordinate to those of Iran, which was allowed to finance, arm, and train large terrorist armies on Israel’s borders. Even when one of those armies decided to attack Israel in an orgy of murder and rape directed against civilians and recorded and broadcast live by the terrorists, Israel’s response was to be limited by its subordinate place in the regional hierarchy, underlining a reality in which Israel was fated to grovel before the whims of its American master—and would sooner or later most likely be ground into dust.

Israel could not strike Iran. Nor could it directly strike Hezbollah, the largest and most threatening of the Iranian-sponsored armies on its border, except to retaliate tit-for-tat for Hezbollah’s missile attacks on its civilian population. While it could invade Gaza, it could do so only while being publicly chided by U.S. officials from the president and the secretary of state for violating rules of wars that often appeared to be made up on the spot and were entirely divorced from common military practice and necessity. In particular, Israel was not to invade Rafah, a prohibition that ensured that Hamas could regularly bring in supplies and cash through the tunnels beneath its border with Egypt while ensuring the survival of its command-and-control structure, allowing it to reassume control of Gaza once the war was over, thereby assuring the success of U.S. policy, which was that Israel’s military invasion of Gaza must serve as the prelude to establishing a Palestinian state—an effort in which Hamas was a necessary partner, representing the Iranian interest, and must therefore be preserved in some part, even after being cut down to size.

Netanyahu’s decision to override the U.S. and take Rafah would turn out to be the prelude to a further series of stunning strategic moves which would enable Israel to smash the Iranian regional position and take full control of her own destiny. After conquering Rafah, in a campaign that the U.S. had said would be impossible without large-scale civilian casualties, Netanyahu proceeded to run the table in a series of rapid-fire blows whose only real point of comparison is Israel’s historic victory in the Six-Day War. In fact, given the odds he faced, and the magnitude of the victories he has won, that comparison may be unfair to Netanyahu, who has provided history with one of the very few examples of an isolated local client redrawing the strategic map of the region against the will of a dominant global power. Netanyahu killed terror chiefs Yahya Sinwar and Hassan Nasrallah; spectacularly eliminated nearly the entire upper military and political echelons of both terror armies on his border, Hamas and Hezbollah; turned both Gaza and Hezbollah’s strongholds in southern Lebanon and Beirut into rubble; and finally, last week, took out the entire stock of modern tanks, aircraft, naval vessels and chemical weapons and missile factories accumulated over the past six decades by the Syrian military.

While the questions of how and when the Iranian regime might fall are for the moment unanswered, it seems clear that Obama’s imagined new regional order in the Middle East, centered on the imagined power of the ayatollahs, is now gone—having disintegrated on contact with Netanyahu’s unanticipated willingness and ability to aggressively defend his castle. What role Biden’s resentment of Obama, especially after the humiliation of his removal from the Democratic ticket, contributed to his continued public backing of Israel, and his repeated declarations of his own Zionism, can be left up to the individual imagination, and to the diligence of future historians. I doubt it was zero, though. Again, the fault in the Obama party’s scheme to use Biden as an empty figurehead was the same fault in his handling of Musk: hubris.

Parallel to the collapse of the new regional order that Obama decreed for the Middle East has been the collapse of the Obama-led domestic order at home. The coincidence marks the end of Obama’s pretensions to be a new kind of world leader, running a new world order of his own making from his iPhone, grounded in his own strange combination of nihilism and virtue-mongering.

In fact, it can be argued that there is no coincidence here at all, since the division between Obama’s program abroad and his role at home is largely artificial. At its core, Obama’s Iran deal was an attempt to remake the Democratic Party in his own image, by establishing fealty to the ayatollahs as a litmus test for the party faithful—thereby elevating third-worldist “progressive” POC elements within the party at the expense of Jews, who undermined the premises of DEI ideology by doing well on standardized tests and making money and who were annoyingly loyal to Bill and Hillary Clinton, Obama’s rivals for control of the party. Conversely, the recent disintegration of Obama’s world-building project in Middle East has helped to further collapse his mystique, by showing that his grand vision for America’s role in the world was founded on sand. If Obama the global strategist is clearly a failure, and his hand-picked successors at home were a senile old man and a babbling idiot, then the country’s corporate elite and tech oligarchy might rightly question the wisdom of continued payoffs to Obama’s Chicago-style Democratic machine and make peace with Donald Trump instead. Which they did.

The same warning still stands, though. Just as America was unlikely to become a better place by letting White House aides manufacture “public opinion” through their laptops and iPhones, and license fact-free virtue campaigns on nearly every subject under the sun, from the wisdom of “gender-affirming” surgeries for children to defunding the police, it is also unlikely to become a better place if the right uses the same machinery to advance its own wishful imaginings, by costuming themselves in the robes of foreign churches while trumpeting the wonders of secret alien space technology and bemoaning the evils of the Allied side in World War II. In fact, the two groups share a great deal in common with each other, starting with their visceral dislike for the idea of American uniqueness. Exceptionalism is the master narrative of American greatness, and today its only true defender seems to be Donald Trump.

At the end of the day, Elon Musk may take ketamine all day long while wandering the halls of his own mind in a purple silk caftan. Donald Trump may be an agent of chaos who destroys more than he saves. Benjamin Netanyahu may or may not make peace with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, who may or may not turn out to be a good guy. Regardless of their faults, all three men shared a common trait at a critical moment in history—they trusted their own stubbornness against the mirror world of digitally based conformity. The human future rests on individuals in all walks of life and representing all parties and all currents of opinion being brave and independent-minded enough to make that same choice.

As for Barack Obama, I will admit that I wasn’t sure I’d ever see him face the consequences of his own arrogance, obsession with personal power, and efforts at vanquishing the exceptionalism that makes this country different from every other one. But I guess, as a wise man once explained: “Life’s a bitch.”480

The Insufferable Democratic Women Just Unleashed A Video So Embarrassing, They May Never Win Another Election

What do they think they are doing? Does anyone other than MSNBC or CNN think this is normal?

This will be my third story before BREAKFAST mocking the Democrats, and it’s not exactly the healthiest way to start a day. I’m just being honest here. Do you know how taxing it is to deal with these people before my percolator is even empty yet?

It’s exhausting. I’m already dipping, and it’s not even 9:30 yet. It’s bad. But, I’m a patriot, and I have to call ’em as I see ‘em.

I can let some of the nonsense slide – you almost have to at this point because it’s just a firehose – but when I see something like what you’re about to witness, I have no choice but to write about it.

It’s my duty. I took an oath when I joined OutKick to not give these lunatics an inch, and I’m doing just that.

So here you go, world. The Dems’ response to Donald Trump’s speech to congress the other night.

The DEI Scam: How America’s Corporations and Universities Were Duped by the Biggest Con of the Century

  • The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) movement emerged in the aftermath of the 2020 George Floyd protests, initially as a well-intentioned effort to address systemic inequalities. However, it quickly transformed into a bureaucratic initiative aimed at embedding social justice programs into the fabric of universities and corporations.
  • Fueled by psychological manipulation, ideological extremism and the threat of violence, DEI programs spread across institutions. This led to the creation of a bloated bureaucracy that enforced ideological conformity and promoted divisive rhetoric, often pitting individuals against each other based on identity markers.
  • By 2024, the flaws in DEI became evident, with major corporations like Ford, Walmart and John Deere rolling back their DEI commitments due to legal and political pressures. A growing number of employees and students criticized DEI for fostering division and mediocrity, leading to a widespread backlash against the movement.
  • As DEI retreats, proponents are rebranding their ideology with terms like “inclusive excellence” and “belonging.” However, critics argue that the underlying ideology remains unchanged, and the movement’s advocates are likely to adapt and continue promoting their agenda under new labels.
  • The collapse of DEI has prompted a shift towards merit-driven frameworks that emphasize objective criteria and measurable outcomes. This includes structured hiring practices, transparent promotion policies and collaborative decision-making processes, which are seen as more effective and less divisive than the top-down mandates of DEI.

(Natural News)—The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) movement, once heralded as a moral and business imperative, has been exposed as one of the most elaborate cons of the 21st century. What began as a well-intentioned effort to address systemic inequalities quickly devolved into a bureaucratic hustle, enriching thousands of ideological hustlers while sowing division and mediocrity across academia and corporate America. Now, as DEI collapses under the weight of its own contradictions, it’s time to reflect on how this con took root—and why its demise is a victory for common sense and meritocracy.

The rise of the DEI con

The DEI movement gained traction in the wake of the 2020 George Floyd protests, which sparked a national conversation about race and inequality. But as Stanley K. Ridgley, author of DEI Exposed: How the Biggest Con of the Century Almost Toppled Higher Education, explains, DEI was never about genuine diversity or inclusion. Instead, it was a “bureaucratic initiative designed to anchor a new raft of social justice programs as an inescapable presence on the campus.”

Ridgley recounts how DEI metastasized across universities and corporations, fueled by a combination of psychological manipulation, ideological extremism and the threat of violence. “It was violence and the threat of violence that opened the door for this effervescence of DEI,” he writes. College administrations, fearing the chaos of 2020’s summer riots, capitulated to the demands of activists, allowing DEI to embed itself deeply into institutional structures.

The result? A bloated bureaucracy of “apparatchiks and supernumeraries” who peddled racialist pseudoscience and enforced ideological conformity. DEI training sessions became notorious for their divisive rhetoric, pitting employees and students against one another based on race, gender and other identity markers. As Ridgley bluntly puts it, “It was weird and alien and hateful at its core.”

The backlash begins

By 2024, the cracks in the DEI façade were impossible to ignore. Major corporations like Ford, Walmart and John Deere began rolling back their DEI commitments, citing mounting legal and political pressures. A Fox News poll conducted in early 2025 found that 45% of voters believed it was “extremely” or “very” important for President Donald Trump to focus on ending DEI programs.

The backlash wasn’t just political—it was personal. Employees and students who had long endured the mediocrity and divisiveness of DEI initiatives finally began speaking out. Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert, who has seen the harmful effects of DEI in his practice, told Fox Business, “The trend over the last few years has been to make DEI programs into political commissars, to go after people who have different viewpoints, and they end up, in many ways, sowing more division in the institution that they’re supposed to help.”

Even DEI advocates like Naomi Wheeless acknowledged the role of political pressure in the movement’s decline. “It is that [Trump] is a president with a well-documented history of vindictiveness,” she said. “He creates a sense of fear and the feeling that whether we want to or not, we better fall in line.”

The con story lives on

As DEI retreats, its proponents are already scrambling to rebrand. Terms like “inclusive excellence” and “belonging” are emerging as replacements for the now-toxic DEI acronym. But as Ridgley warns, the underlying ideology remains the same. “The Con Story will morph and adapt,” he writes. “Buzzwords will change, new slogans will be coined, but the underlying ideology will remain the same as it always has.”

This isn’t the first time America has fallen for a con story. From the pseudoscience of Karl Marx to the utopian promises of radical activists, history is littered with examples of ideologies that duped the credulous. Ridgley draws a chilling parallel between the DEI movement and the case of Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old who murdered a man in New York City in 2024, driven by extremist ideology. “Persons who cheer the killer Luigi Mangione for his assassination of Brian Thompson also fully support DEI’s personnel, programs, policies and enforcement mechanisms on the college campuses,” Ridgley asserts.

A return to meritocracy

The collapse of DEI is a reminder that meritocracy and fairness are not just ideals—they are essential to a functioning society. As corporations and universities abandon DEI, many are turning to evidence-based, merit-driven frameworks that emphasize objective criteria and measurable outcomes. Structured hiring practices, transparent promotion policies and collaborative decision-making processes are proving to be more effective—and less divisive—than the top-down mandates of DEI.

The death of DEI is a victory for common sense, but the fight is far from over. As Ridgley warns, the con artists behind DEI will not go quietly. They will rebrand, relabel and repackage their ideology in an attempt to deceive a new generation of marks. But for now, America can breathe a sigh of relief that one of the biggest cons of the century has finally been exposed.

The lesson is clear: Ideological extremism and bureaucratic bloat have no place in our institutions. It’s time to return to the principles that made America great—individual merit, equal opportunity and the pursuit of excellence. DEI may be over, but the work of rebuilding trust and integrity in our institutions has only just begun.

A 19-year-old healthcare worker named Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan from Loganville, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with a criminal count of exploitation of a disabled person.

The incident came to light after Koiyan posted multiple videos on social media platform TikTok, which showed her dancing inappropriately over patients with disabilities. In one of the videos, she was seen twerking above the head of a seated disabled individual while wearing scrubs and a healthcare worker’s uniform.

A convicted drug dealer who received a get-out-of-jail-free card from the Biden regime has already been arrested again.

Dequan Willard, a 30-year-old Texas man, was granted clemency by President Joe Biden on January 17 as part of a sweeping mass release that included 2,490 federal inmates.

But it didn’t take long for the so-called “nonviolent offender” to show his true colors.

Just seven days later, Willard was arrested again for allegedly violating the conditions of his supervised release, according to Law and Crime.

Police say Jeremy McBride plotted Netherland’s death, planning to kill her and her preborn baby, and then kill himself. McBride allegedly confessed to the crime after he was apprehended by police less than one hour after the shooting. He was not at the residence when police arrived, and law enforcement located him through the use of license plate readers.

“The View” host Sunny Hostin complained during Monday’s show about some resurfacing racially-charged posts made by one of the young men billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk brought in to work on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) project.

Hostin has repeatedly attacked white women from her perch at the ABC News midday talk show – even comparing them on one occasion to roaches — but during Monday’s broadcast, she poured on the sarcasm.

This is how embarrassing Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett is: Despite sharing the same far-left viewpoints and clout-chasing tendencies as its other members, Crockett has never been admitted to the so-called “squad.”

Perhaps this is her choice, but I doubt it. After all, getting into the club connects you with progressive activist favorites like Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. And it’s not as if they’re especially picky when it comes to membership. All you have to be is young and very liberal. You can be shamelessly corrupt (Omar), anti-Semitic (former Rep. Jamaal Bowman), or both (former Rep. Cori Bush.)

Ergo, there has to be a reason why Crockett isn’t in the group. She told Politico it’s because, campaigning in Texas, the label is poison.

This doesn’t sound right, given the fact that she represents a district so deeply blue it’ll elect … well, her

Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett has become famous in the past year or two for her rants.

Whether she is yelling about “mediocre white boys” who oppose diversity programs or getting in shouting matches during committee meetings, we can always expect her to speak her mind.

That’s exactly what she did when she was a guest Wednesday on “The View.”

Crockett was asked about a broad sentiment among voters that President Donald Trump is keeping his campaign promises, a reality they are rewarding with substantial approval ratings, coupled with a struggling Democratic Party seen by many as too left-wing.

A Bowling Green man has been arrested after police say he stole from a local business.

The Bowling Green Police Department apprehended Jammal Cooper, 38, at 403 Ethan Court Monday, according to the agency’s Facebook page.

Officers say Cooper was identified after leaving a local store where he was previously known to have committed theft. With the assistance of store personnel, officers confirmed his identity and located his residence.

When approached by officers, Cooper attempted to flee but was detained after a brief foot pursuit, police say.

Cooper is currently lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on the following charges:

  • Receiving stolen property ($1,000 < $10,000)
  • Obscuring the identity of a machine (covered license plate)
  • Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting

Don’t forget now, Black History Month still isn’t over. At the University of Hawaii,

Black history and culture are being celebrated at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a series of events and collaborations throughout February.

Events include basketball and a special Black History Month Dinner next Tuesday featuring “fried chicken, baked mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and cornbread.”

Normally, associating blacks with fried chicken is regarded as thoughtcrime. But you can’t blame moonbats in Hawaii for resorting to stereotypes regarding blacks, who make up only 2.2% of the population. The important thing is that they bend the knee piously in accordance with their religion, cultural Marxism.

This self-proclaimed “super mayor” is now a super loser.

Dolton “Dictator” Tiffany Henyard suffered a landslide loss in Tuesday’s Democratic primary after more than a year of seedy scandals, wild antics and haughty remarks that finally caught up to her at the ballot box.

The under-fire Illinois mayor finally ran into her kryptonite — voters in her own Chicago suburb that overwhelmingly picked village Trustee Jason House as the Democratic nominee.

With all precincts reporting, House notched nearly 88% of the vote while Henyard gained a measly 12%, according to Cook County election results.

Google Calendar Cuts Pride Month, Black History Month And More Observances—Here Are All The Companies Rolling Back DEI

Good, kill it dead. It just divides the country and is a Marxist tactic by Holder and Obama.

Google Calendar no longer marks the start of cultural observances including Pride Month, Black History Month and Women’s History Month, marking the latest major company policy changes in a wave of backlash against DEI that has become a central issue of President Donald Trump’s second term.

Timeline

Feb. 10Days after it cut diversity hiring goals, a Google spokesperson told CNBC it no longer marks the start of cultural observances like Pride Month and Black History Month because “maintaining hundreds of moments manually and consistently globally wasn’t scalable or sustainable,” though it said it began making these changes in mid-2024.

Feb. 7NPR first reported more than a dozen companies have pared back, or removed altogether, references to diversity, equity and inclusion in their 2024 annual reports to investors, including Pepsi, GM, Google, Disney, GE, Intel, PayPal, Chipotle and Comcast (GM removed all references to diversity, NPR reported, while Pepsi removed nearly all references after writing in its investor report last year DEI is a “competitive advantage.”)

Feb. 7Professional services company Accenture said it would no longer use diversity targets in hiring and promoting, citing the Trump administration’s push for private companies to roll back DEI goals, the company’s chief executive Julie Sweet said in a memo to staff, Bloomberg reported.

Feb. 7Amazon’s annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for 2024 omitted a section included in the company’s prior annual report, which indicated Amazon has a focus on “inclusion and diversity” in hiring (the news was first reported by CNBC).

Feb. 6The government-funded railroad service Amtrak confirmed to Bloomberg it would roll back its DEI programs and policies, which appeared to include efforts to hire and promote diverse employees and employee resource groups, according to the company’s 2023 diversity report.

Feb. 5Google informed its employees in an email that it will no longer have hiring targets around improving diverse representation among its staff, The Wall Street Journal first reported, and it is evaluating whether to continue other DEI programs and release DEI reports—though it will continue having resource groups for underrepresented staff members.

Jan. 28The Smithsonian Institution told employees its diversity office is closing as a “first step” to address Trump’s new federal policy that declared DEI programs as “dangerous” and “demeaning,” the Washington Post reported, and the link to the institution’s 2022 diversity and inclusion initiatives report and link to its equal employment opportunity policy are broken.

Jan. 24Target, which had already curbed its LGBTQ Pride merchandise line in response to conservative backlash, announced it would pull back on racial hiring targets, end its Racial Equity Action and Change program and cease participation in external diversity surveys, with chief community impact and equity officer Kiera Fernandez telling employees in a memo the decisions were made based on “many years of data” and an effort to stay “in step with the evolving external landscape.”

Jan. 17The FBI confirmed in a statement to Forbes it had closed its DEI office—a frequent target of attacks by Republicans—in December, prompting President-elect Donald Trump to demand the agency “preserve and retain all records” relating to the shuttered office as he accused the FBI of “corruption” in a Truth Social post.

Jan. 10Amazon said it would roll back what it called “outdated programs and materials” in an internal memo, though it did not specify what would be discontinued, while certain programs aimed at addressing disparities would continue until the disparities are eliminated

Jan. 10Meta said in a memo the company ended several programs intended to increase its hiring of diverse candidates, including its equity and inclusion training programs, after Janelle Gale, Meta’s vice president of people, said the “legal and policy landscape” surrounding DEI efforts in the U.S. is “changing.”

Jan. 6McDonald’s announced it would abandon specific diversity targets, cease participation in external surveys that measure company demographics and would rename its diversity team to “Global Inclusion Team,” citing the Supreme Court decision that ended affirmative action at universities and similar DEI walkbacks by other corporations, though it said it would continue to report demographic information in its own annual report.

Nov. 25, 2024Walmart said it would abandon its DEI commitments, including winding down a Center for Racial Equity nonprofit it had founded in 2020 with a $100 million, 5-year commitment, ceasing third-party sellers from offering certain LGBTQ-themed products on its website, no longer participating in the Human Rights Campaign’s external surveys and phasing out the term “diversity, equity and inclusion” in company documents.

Nov. 1, 2024Boeing dismantled its global diversity, equity and inclusion department and redirected its staff to its human resources department to focus on talent acquisition and employee experience, Bloomberg reported.

Sept. 4, 2024Molson Coors, which had in 2023 defended a feminist-themed ad that sparked conservative backlash, said it would abandon supplier diversity quotas, shift DEI training sessions to focus on business objectives and stop participating in external diversity surveys, despite previously receiving a perfect 100 from the Human Rights Campaign for its LGBTQ policies.

Aug. 28, 2024Lowe’s said in an internal memo it would combine its employee resource groups into one umbrella organization, cease participating in HRC surveys and would stop participating in external events like Pride parades.

Aug. 28, 2024Ford Motor Co. informed employees it would stop participating in external diversity surveys and would evolve its employee resource groups to focus on networking and mentorship to all employees, citing the evolving “external and legal environment related to political and social issues.”

Aug. 22, 2024Jack Daniel’s manufacturer Brown-Forman told employees it would no longer tie executive compensation to DEI progress, remove workforce and supplier diversity goals and cease participating in the HRC index, citing the shifting “legal and external landscape.”

Aug. 19, 2024Harley-Davidson said it abandoned its “DEI function” in April and said it does not utilize diversity quotas for hiring or suppliers, and that it would no longer participate in HRC surveys or partner with sponsors that do not focus on its “loyal riding community.”

July 16, 2024Farm equipment manufacturer John Deere said it would no longer support “cultural awareness” events like Pride parades and would audit company documents to remove “socially-motivated messages,” adding that diversity quotas and pronoun identification have never been company policy, though it said it would continue to internally track employee diversity.

Costco has refused to back down from its DEI policies. The company’s shareholders overwhelmingly voted to reject a proposal that would have obligated the company to review the potential risks of maintaining its DEI initiatives, with more than 98% of shareholders voting against the proposal. The board said it “believes that our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect and inclusion is appropriate and necessary.” Apple’s board similarly urged shareholders to reject a proposal raised by the same think tank, accusing the group of “inappropriately” attempting to “restrict Apple’s ability to manage its own ordinary business operations.” Delta Airlines also said it remains committed to DEI on a Jan. 10 earnings call. Peter Carter, the company’s executive vice president for external affairs, told a reporter the company is not reevaluating DEI or sustainability policies because “they are actually critical to our business,” stating DEI is “about talent and that’s been our focus.” Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins told Axios “a diverse workforce is better” because “there’s too much business value.” Robbins said the DEI backlash is being treated as a “single issue” when it is really “made up of 150 different things, and maybe seven of them got a little out of hand,” but those few things are “going to get solved and then you’re going to be left with common sense.” Deutsche Bank CEO Christian Sewing said at a press conference the company stands “firmly behind” its “integral” DEI programs, stating the company can “see how Deutsche Bank has benefited from it,” making it the latest bank to defend DEI after conservative groups filed shareholder proposals at various banks urging them to review their diversity policies. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said at a press conference ahead of Super Bowl LIX the NFL—which requires teams to interview at least two minority candidates for vacant head coach, general manager and coordinator positions as part of its broader commitment to diversity—will continue its diversity efforts “because we’ve not only convinced ourselves, I think we’ve proven … that it does make the NFL better,” and he added: “We’re not in this because it’s a trend to get into it or a trend to get out of it.”

You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?

Nothing. It’s not important to others so I don’t bother them with it. Some people have to tell the world, but I don’t think others care that much so I usually don’t say much.

I hate people who brag anyway so I go out of my way not to do it.

Since I’m not on Fake book or X, I’m not obligated to post about it.

Life is a lot easier when you live in your own lane and don’t have to show off to others. Those that are happy for you will be. They’ll find out the news sooner or later.

I’ve been around long enough now to know that things are fleeting. Whatever news will fade into life and there will be downs as well as ups. Once you understand that, you look at news differently.

My Take On The Superbowl

I watched because I’ve seen every Superbowl played. I know a great game and a nail biter. I have had my team in it 5 times and we are 2-3, but have a perfect season.

The game.

It sucked. The Chiefs were never in it. They were the 3 peat favorites but looked like the Panthers or Giants for 3 quarters. Mr. MVP Mahommes wasn’t Superman and neither was Kelce.

Even the score was closer than the game was.

Taylor Swift

Speaking of Kelce, she got booed because the world is (has been) tired of her ass and his. I think he caught a couple of passes that didn’t affect the game and she hasn’t been a good luck charm since Kamala.

Trump

For once, he got cheered by the majority of people. It’s either because they were so tired of being shit on by the Biden team, or (the hating half) just want things fixed and he’s doing what he said. The people who love him always will. I think the country wants him to do good so we start doing good again.

The NFL – They stuck with the racist Lift up your voice and sing, the black national anthem promoting racial divide. We are one nation with one National Anthem. People weren’t happy ith it and the rendition wasn’t that great. Roger Goodell needs to cut the woke crap

The commercials. Lame commercials crashed and burned

The lamest ever. No creative taste great/less filling. Instead, we are trying to recover from Dylan Mulvaney blowing a Bud Light can while grossing out the rest of the country to trannies and tanking the brand for life. I don’t know if they will ever recover.

The PC police, cancel culture and woke patrol made sure to kill any creativity. The AI influence fell way short of Madison Avenue circa the 80’s and 90’s

Ben Affleck was bad last year and surprisingly got worse this year.

The flag football commercial reminded me of Marvel movies. It’s the only time in life when girls can beat men, when it’s fake. No one believes it and the feminist tripe is getting as stale as DEI.

Nike did this:

While it’s true that women’s sports don’t generate a ton of revenue — the WNBA is behind an Australian cricket league, for example — most people, whether male or female, are not going to fill stadiums. Less than 2 percent of college players go pro. When it comes to going to college, though, the balance currently favors the fairer sex, with 47 percent of women 25-34 attaining degrees whereas only 37 percent of their male counterparts achieve that. The disparity exists across race and ethnicity.

They’re not doing so badly in the professional world either, with 52 percent of “management, professional, and related occupations” going to women. Given the trends in higher education, one doesn’t have to be Nostradamus to predict which direction that trendline will go over the coming years.

In other words, Nike’s big celebration of women — which, again, kudos for highlighting actual women this time — is demeaning. It sells a false reality they must overcome, a ceiling that no longer exists. It treats women as less than. It’s also, to reiterate, a huge misread of the current vibe shift.

It’s 2025, y’all. “Diversity, equity, and inclusion” is out, even though I just used the more inclusive term “y’all” rather than “guys.” People are tired of such nonsense. Also, Always solved all these problems with its #LikeAGirl campaign back in 2014

Halftime

Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime performance in New Orleans on Sunday drew criticism from some fans, who labeled it the ‘worst halftime show ever.’ Fresh off his Grammy
wins, the rapper, 37, didn’t seem to carry that momentum into his
performance at the Caesars Superdome, as he hit the stage before the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. The
Pulitzer Prize winner showcased his lyrical prowess as he started out
the performance on top of a car before taking a swipe at his hip hop rival Drake, 38.Despite Drake recently suing his and Lamar’s record label,
Universal Music Group, over the controversial diss song, Not Like Us,
which calls Drake a ‘certified pedophile’, Kendrick still performed the
song, however, he omitted the word. It
seems the musician opted not to say the word so as not to trigger
another lawsuit, as right before he started rapping he told the crowd,
‘I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.’

The only thing they could do to make it worse, they did. Samuel L. Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam, but might as well have been Uncle Tom, Dick or Harry. He hates America and Trump and if you want a racist, look no further than him.

A lot of money was spent for a big nothing. None of it was good this year other than the Eagles, the only group to show up. They deserved to win, but they played a JV team so it wasn’t that big of a win.

Even Philly is still destroying its own town in celebration. A fitting end to one of the worst games and productions since the Packers Beat the Chiefs.

Football is over now until August. We can settle in to F1, Tour de France and other things more interesting than the Super Bowl, or the playoffs for that matter. It wasn’t that great of a season.

Bud Light Attempts Comback, But Doesn’t – The Sad Saga

As you enjoy the Super Bowl on Sunday, pay special attention to one of the 30-second ads that will be airing during the time-outs.

The ad, which features Shane Gillis, Post Malone, and NFL great Peyton Manning having fun at a wild barbecue, fueled by bright-blue cans of Bud Light beer, is no ordinary TV commercial. With its almost cartoonish celebration of masculine excess, the spot communicates two conventional beer-commercial messages: Bud Light is fun, and Bud Light is for guys. What makes it notable, though, is a third point, one it communicates only by implication: Bud Light is really, really sorry.

Bud Light is still trying to make up with the customer base it alienated on April 1, 2023. On that day, a brand that had been the top-selling beer in America for over two decades launched a social media campaign that would rock its customers, and not in a good way. Starring a transgender activist, Dylan Mulvaney, it celebrated Mulvaney’s first year of “girlhood.” Bud Light even sent Mulvaney a personalized can to mark this milestone date in Mulvaney’s transition from biological male to transgender woman, which millions had already followed on Instagram and TikTok.

This was not an April Fools’ Day prank as some believed, but a serious effort by the world’s largest beer company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, to “rebrand” its product.

Google Kills DEI and Woke

I guess sales were down and there wasn’t an option left.

Google is joining Meta, Amazon, and other big tech companies in winding down its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

In a Wednesday memo to employees that I obtained (and you can read below), Google’s head of HR, Fiona Cicconi, said there will no longer be DEI hiring targets due to the company’s status as a federal contractor and recent “court decisions and US Executive Orders on this topic.” As the Wall Street Journal notes, Google also removed a line included in previous annual SEC reports saying that it’s “committed to making diversity, equity, and inclusion part of everything we do.”

FAFO – The ‘ultimate selfie’ has claimed up to 480 lives – yet the craze shows no signs of ending

To the list of the world’s most dangerous activities, it seems we must add a very 21st–century pursuit: selfie-taking.

The number of people who have lost their lives while trying to get that perfect shot has spiked sharply in recent years. For a time, Wikipedia kept a running total, estimating 379 people have died in selfie-related accidents between 2008 and 2021, with hundreds more sustaining serious injuries.

Since then, other sources suggest the toll had risen to as many as 480 fatalities by the end of 2024. By way of comparison, far more people die from taking selfies than from shark attacks, which on average account for 5-6 deaths per year globally.

Female Pilot Rebecca Lobach’s Entire Social Media Scrubbed before Army Released Her Name – So What Are They Hiding?

After withholding at the request of the family the name of the female pilot killed in the mid-air collision Wednesday night between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a PSA/American Airlines passenger plane on final approach to Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., the Army issued a statement Saturday afternoon from her family identifying the pilot as 28-year-old Capt. Rebecca Lobach from Durham, N.C.

The other two soldiers killed in the crash previously identified by the Army are Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, of Lilburn, Georgia, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, of Great Mills, Maryland.

Lobach was part of a three-man crew flying a training mission for “continuity of government” down the Potomac River when the collision occurred, killing all three crew members on the Black Hawk based at nearby Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and all 60 passengers and four crew members on the flight out of Wichita, Kansas.

Lobach, who had over 450 hours of flying experience, recently served as a military social aide at the Biden White House.

It took the US Army and Rebecca’s family three days to scrub her social media accounts. They really don’t want the public to know anything about this female pilot.

The female Black Hawk helicopter pilot, Captain Rebecca Lobach, was not named until today. Was it so they could scrub her social media? Her Facebook page has been wiped. However, her Google+ image is below. If it turns out Lobach was a lesbian DEI pilot, I won’t be surprised. Either that or she was some super spy that we can’t know anything about, but I doubt that one.

The Chinese Sputnik

This week, China shocked the West with its announcement of DeepSeek, an artificial intelligence network capable of competing with OpenAI, Meta, and Google.

The fact that China was able to develop DeepSeek without a heavy supply of sophisticated microchips from Nvidia sent Nvidia stock spiraling, along with the other major tech companies in the United States: China seems to have cracked the code to bring down the cost of AI development radically, in the process ending-around sanctions against its access to those microchips.

In the words of former Intel Chief Executive Pat Gelsinger, “Engineering is about constraints. The Chinese engineers had limited resources, and they had to find creative solutions.”

Now, it remains to be seen just how revolutionary DeepSeek’s development was. China has a bad habit of both stealing intellectual property and lying about its own technological development. Suffice it to say, however, that China has demonstrated once again that America exists in a competitive world—a world of enemies determined to outcompete the United States.

Target Rebrands DEI, Just As Woke, Takes It Underground

Like most corporate jargon that comes from unimpressive and overpaid executives whose shining accomplishment has been irreparably harming the brand they were entrusted with, this is a non-statement. If you’ve worked a corporate gig, you’ve encountered these people, they talk the most but say the least.

It gets better. CNBC reported that “a Target spokesperson said there are no job cuts as part of Friday’s DEI announcement.” Impressive. Target is so serious about getting rid of DEI that it decided to retain every single one of its DEI hires at every level of the organization, including executives and middle management who imposed this ideology on the entire company.

In other words, Target is not abandoning DEI. It’s being taken underground. It might not sell another wheelchair-bound black Santa this year, but that’s because Target is doing just enough to pull the wool over your eyes.

Anyone involved in their local school board is familiar with this tactic. The first thing schools did after parents complained about Critical Race Theory (CRT) was rebrand it. That’s what Target is doing here, which is arguably worse than what it was doing before. Target hasn’t made any meaningful admission of wrongdoing, and because these corporations think you’re stupid, Target is hoping to assuage the public by pretending to suddenly reject the religion of leftism that consumed it for years all just hours after an administration hostile to DEI took over in Washington. It’s a miracle with impeccable timing, I suppose.

On Jan. 24, Target issued a press release that supposedly indicates a departure from DEI. Kiera Fernandez, formerly known as Target’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, now goes by a new title: Chief Community Impact and Equity Officer. What a clever rebrand. Considering the goal was to pretend that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are no longer a priority at Target, I would have thought that her new title should avoid the words Diversity, Equity, or Inclusion.

Fernandez issued a memo to Target staff that included this gem:

“Many years of data, insights, listening and learning have been shaping this next chapter in our strategy, and as a retailer that serves millions of consumers every day, we understand the importance of staying in step with the evolving external landscape, now and in the future – all in service of driving Target’s growth and winning together.”

Will Any Federal Officials Pay For What They Did?

The biggest scientific con of the century is finally being exposed. But will any politicians or government officials ever be held responsible for the carnage they unleashed on Americans?

In early 2020, when the Covid pandemic was starting to ravage America, federal bureaucrats and politicians rushed to suppress any suggestion that the pandemic originated from a Chinese government lab bankrolled by US government agencies. Key Biden administration officials effectively exonerated the Chinese government even though the Chinese completely stonewalled any outside investigation into the origin of the Covid virus, as the Wall Street Journal recently revealed in a front-page scoop.

The FBI’s top expert concluded that the virus leaked from the lab but he was derailed by the Biden administration, blocked from presenting his evidence at a key White House meeting in August 2021. Three scientists at the National Center for Medical Intelligence, part of the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency, concluded that Covid leaked from a lab but they were muzzled. The Inspector General is conducting an investigation to determine why those experts were silenced. The Department of Energy also concluded that Covid originated in a lab. In September 2023, a senior CIA analyst told a Congressional committee that six key CIA analysts had been bribed by the agency to abandon their conclusion that Covid originated in a lab leak.

The Chinese government first admitted that a pandemic had broken out in the city of Wuhan in early 2020. Though the Chinese military-affiliated Wuhan Institute of Virology had been experimenting with bats for years, the Chinese government insisted the new virus came from a nearby marketplace. But the lead scientists involved with bat research had all been struck down by Covid-19 symptoms shortly before the Chinese government denied any responsibility. There was a deluge of circumstantial evidence quickly linking the new virus to the lab.

The outbreak of Covid-19 spurred one of the most brazen cover-ups in modern US history. The National Institute for Health had been financing gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. That type of research seeks to genetically alter organisms to enable the spread of viruses into new species. Such research is extremely dangerous; as MIT professor Kevin Esvelt asked in 2021, “Why is anyone trying to teach the world how to make viruses that could kill millions of people?” The risks were compounded because the Wuhan Institute had a very poor safety rating. Two years earlier, the State Department confidentially “warned other federal agencies about safety issues at Wuhan labs studying bat Covid,” but the public disclosure of that alert was delayed until 2022.

In January 2020, top federal scientists recognized that the pandemic could obliterate their reputations. Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the National Institutes for Health, wrote in an email that “a swift convening of experts in a confidence-inspiring framework is needed or the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate, doing great potential harm to science and international harmony.” The “conspiracy” was the facts of the matter.

Anthony Fauci, the chief of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), speedily enlisted a handful of trusted scientists to gin up a paper supposedly “proving” that the virus could not have originated in the lab. A top NIAID scientist accepted the task of debunking the lab-leak story because, as he emailed a colleague, “Tony doesn’t want his fingerprints on origin stories.” The Lancet, one of the most respected medical journals in the world, enlisted in the cover-up with an op-ed by 27 scientists who proclaimed: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that Covid-19 does not have a natural origin.” Maybe the same scientists also sent an addendum to NIH: Keep giving us grant money or your reputation will “swim with the fishes.”

Further “proof” was provided by a torrent of accusations of racism against anyone who publicly suggested that the virus originated in a Chinese lab. The State Department’s Global Engagement Center added a federal fist to the debate, pressuring Twitter to suppress hundreds of thousands of accounts (including thousands of average Americans) in early 2020 for the crime of suggesting that Covid originated in a lab. Bureaucrats secretly decided that wildly exaggerated forecasts of pandemic mortality made the First Amendment null and void.

The Free Ride Is Over At Meta – DEI Expert Bemoans the Death of ‘Diversity’ Programs at Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta

Losing Sheryl Sandberg was the best thing that happened to Meta. That and Zuckerberg growing a pair when he learned Ju-Jitsu.

In an opinion piece, former Facebook diversity executive Bärí A. Williams criticizes Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to disband the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, signaling a shift in priorities as he aligns with the incoming Trump administration.

Williams, author of Seen Yet Unseen: A Black Woman Crashes the Tech Fraternity and the founder of Facebook’s Supplier Diversity Program, recently published an opinion piece via MSNBC on the shutdown of Meta’s DEI initiatives. In the piece, Williams stated her concerns about Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to disband the company’s DEI programs, signaling a change in priorities as he seeks to align with the incoming Trump administration.

Williams expressed her disappointment in the abandonment of Meta’s Supplier Diversity Program, an initiative she spent countless hours developing. She writes, “From October 2014 to October 2016, I spent nights, weekends and even part of my maternity leave, creating the supplier diversity program. And now it’s defunct.” The decision to dismantle the Supplier Diversity Program comes as a surprise, especially considering Meta’s previous pledges to support diversity and inclusion. As Williams notes, “In June 2020, Facebook pledged a $1.1 billion ‘investment in Black and diverse suppliers and communities in the U.S.’”

However, Williams believes that with the departure of Sheryl Sandberg, who served as Facebook’s chief operating officer between 2008 and 2022 and was a champion of content moderation, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion, “the buffer was removed.” She adds, “Zuckerberg, who’s now evangelizing on the virtues of ‘masculine energy’ in companies, has reportedly blamed Sandberg for the existence of the company’s diversity initiatives and said she was the reason why he couldn’t disband them.” Breitbart News previously reported on Zuckerberg passing the buck to Sandberg by blaming her for the company’s DEI lunacy. Williams believes “this is Zuckerberg showing us who he really is.”

Zuckerberg Blames Sheryl Sanberg For Meta’s DEI Bias

DEI favors some groups over others, be it because of either social pressure or Corporate lending practices (Blackrock).

Zuckerberg is cleaning house, and eliminating the “inclusive” culture that Sheryl Sanberg brought in. Inclusive meaning hiring certain groups based on gender or race.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly trash-talked his former top lieutenant Sheryl Sandberg during his visit to Mar-a-Lago, blaming her for implementing controversial DEI initiatives at Facebook that “encouraged employees’ self-expression in the workplace.”

Zuckerberg, who has drawn criticism for cozying up to the new administration, made the comment during a sit-down with President-elect Donald Trump’s advisers at his Florida retreat shortly after the Republican’s historic election victory in November, according to the New York Times.

The discussions on Nov. 27 — which included Stephen Miller, who will take over as White House deputy chief of staff — covered a range of hot-button topics such as the administration’s expected crackdown on immigration, and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, the Times reported.

Miller told Zuckerberg that the billionaire mogul had “an opportunity to help reform America, but it would be on Trump’s terms,” according to the Times.

More Mean Girls Acting Like Twats

This is the second time in a week girls have framed innocent men. Behavior like this has been going on since the Duke Lacrosse hate hoax. Why? It says social media TikTok trend. Some people are not capable of living a real life, forgoing it for likes online.

Five Catholic college students have been charged with luring a 22-year-old soldier before they falsely accused him of being a pedophile as part of ‘Catch a Predator’ TikTok trend.

Assumption University students Kelsy Brainard, 18, Easton Randall, 19, Kevin Carroll, 18, Isabella Trudeau, 18, and Joaquin Smith, 18, appeared in Massachusetts court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and kidnapping charges.

A sixth defendant was separately arraigned in juvenile court because they are underage.

Brainard is also charged with witness intimidation. Carroll was charged with assault and battery after he reportedly admitted to slamming the victim’s head in the car door.

Prosecutors say Brainard met the man on Tinder, told him she was 18, and invited him to the Catholic school in Worcester on October 1 so they could ‘try and hook up.’

The alleged victim, a 22-year-old active-duty military service member, said he was in town for his grandmother’s funeral and went on Tinder because he ‘just wanted to be around people that were happy.’

Brainard greeted him when he arrived at the school, before she led him into a basement lounge, per court documents.

Is Meta Finally Waking Up And Going Un-Woke?

Or is it just sucking up to the new regime?

In a major sign of where things are headed in the coming months, Facebook/Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the company is dropping its current DEI policies.

People are interpreting this as an indication of how things are changing now that a second Trump administration is about to take power and that is probably correct.

The New York Post reported:

Meta, Amazon ditch DEI programs as tech giants move away from ‘woke’ agenda

Meta and Amazon reportedly killed their DEI programs in recent days – moves that come as both Big Tech giants attempt to cozy up to President-elect Donald Trump.

On Friday, Meta – the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Threads – said it will no longer take the controversial Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies into consideration before hiring, training and picking suppliers, Axios reported.

According to a memo sent by Janelle Gale, vice president of human resources, she said the company is pivoting away from DEI because the “legal and policy landscape surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the United States is changing.”

A Meta spokesperson reached by The Post confirmed the memo, which was first obtained by Axios.

Meta’s about-face came just days after CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that his company would scrap censoring free speech on its popular social media platforms.

Both Zuckerberg and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have recently met with Trump as part of an ongoing thaw in once-frosty relations between the Republican and the tech industry.

Zuckerberg appears to be serious about this and has even removed the tampons from the men’s rooms.

Explaining Why Danes Are Hating The Thought Of Greenland Becoming Part Of The US

Greenland’s Prime Minister Now Says Open To Talks With Trump: ‘Status Quo No Longer an Option’

We are continuing to watch the developments related to Greenland, which have gotten especially interesting after President-elect Donald Trump tasked his pick for Ambassador to Denmark with persuading the Danes to sell us the resource-rich Arctic land.

Shortly after that announcement, Greenland suffered a major power outage due to a downed transmission line. The blackout plunged the region into darkness as temperatures dropped below -27 degrees Fahrenheit (-33°C).

This was soon followed by Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute Egede calling for independence from Denmark, marking a significant shift in the rhetoric surrounding the Arctic island’s future.

Trump’s son later went on an “unofficial” visit to Greenland.  At that time, I speculated that persuading the people of Greenland to become an independent territory of the United States might be the best deal that could be placed on the table.

Intriguingly, Egede recently had a joint press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during which he said that he’s ready to speak with Trump as ‘the status quo is no longer an option‘.

My wife’s Danish relatives, to whom I’ve had to associate in the last 3 decades of marriage finally can’t hide their contempt for Trump and the USA any longer.

In dealing with them and many Europeans throughout my business career, it’s clear that trashing the US is their favorite sport (not football/soccer). They keep trying to re-make America by their rules, rather than accept the history of a country that has surpassed centuries of European culture.

A point of note is that while they are trashing America, they are wearing Levis or Carhartt, smoking Marlboro cigarettes, and regularly vacationing in America all while bitching that it isn’t Danish enough. They love shopping here because it is so much cheaper because of their 70% tax rate which pays for their “FREE” education and healthcare (that is just above malpractice)

The press coverage and the feedback I get is that the Danes are livid that Trump wants Greenland.

One of her nieces posted that Elizabeth Warren is the “bomb”

My wife also has a brother who lives in Greenland and the natives there hate Denmark owning them, but subsist off of the money that Denmark pours into them yearly. They’d rather be Greenlandish and free but realize they get a heck of a lot more from the US than they would Denmark, given the economic difference.

The US has had a military base there for a long time and they love the Americans in Greenland, more than the Danes

Back to my wife’s relatives, the Danes hate Trump. He is as atypical of how the Danes think they think (Janteloven) as possible. They are as averous as any other group despite what they claim. She’s got nephews who brag about the price of everything they bought and the status of the item. With Trump, They can’t handle the thought of an alpha male actually being successful and achieving more than others because of hard work and outsmarting others (like my wife’s relatives). Mostly, he’s not a socialist like a lot of thinking in Denmark so they can’t grasp it so they use the “typical American” and hate him. They actually don’t know why other than their press has told them to.

I had to cut them off from social media for the childish trashing of him for the last 8 years. I haven’t missed anything though other than them being the compass for what is wrong by going against everything they think is right (Warren/Pocahantis, Biden, Kamala, Obama, Obamacare, and the list goes on). So Trump lives rent free in their heads now as they seethe every time he wins (and wins again).

Here is an unscientific poll that backs up my observations.

A new survey found that a majority of Greenland respondents support joining the United States.

According to a poll by Patriot Polling released Sunday, 57.3 percent of respondents approve of Greenland becoming part of the U.S. Just 37.4 percent disapproved of the potential acquisition, and 5.3 percent are undecided about the move.

President-elect Trump has in recent days floated the idea of acquiring Greenland, a Danish territory. He said owning Greenland is an “absolute necessity.”

While the survey only polled 416 people in Greenland and is the first of its kind, it signals support for Trump’s larger international plans.

source

I think Trump just wants a bigger military footprint and access to rare earth minerals (and petroleum). He is a master of negotiations and everyone should be happy in the end, except my Wife’s family, but I don’t care what they think. Their bias doesn’t allow them to think rationally about Trump and America anyway. Not that I care what they think anymore.

Enjoy your shopping when you are in America.

Each of these examples quotes a specific media outlet or individual, but nearly all of these fictions were propagated by multiple outlets and people, and many of them were broadcast by dozens.

1: Inflation

Margaret Brennan and John Dickerson of CBS News claimed that “the president of the United States has nothing to do with the price of bacon,” “or eggs,” “or gas,” “or any of it.”

In fact, presidents impact the prices of virtually everything through federal deficits that spur inflation, regulations that prohibit the use of cost-effective production methods and resources, price and wage controls, trade deals, tariffs, and more.

2: “Bloodbath”

Reporting on the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump, George Stephanopoulos and Martha Raddatz of ABC News claimed that Trump “contributed” to “violent rhetoric” because he said “it’s going to be a bloodbath” if “I don’t get elected.”

In fact, Trump didn’t use the term “bloodbath” as a call to violence but to describe the effects of Biden’s policies, especially on the auto industry.

3: Crime Trends

PolitiFact reported that “the violent crime rate today is near a 50-year low.”

In fact, that claim is derived from FBI data, which is based on voluntary reports of crimes by state and local law enforcement agencies and “excludes” crimes like “sexual assault,” “simple assault,” “attempted robberies,” and “crimes not reported to law enforcement.”

The DOJ’s National Crime Victimization Survey—which is widely considered to be the “gold standard” for measuring crime trends—showed a 37% increase in violent crime from 2020 to 2023. Moreover, the latest rate of murder—which is the best-measured and worst violent crime—was 36% higher in 2023 than in 2014.

4: Jobs

The New York Times reported that “President Biden is presiding over a job-creation boom that would have gotten almost any of his predecessors re-elected in the postwar era.”

In fact, all real job growth under Biden went to immigrants, while jobs held by people born in the USA barely recovered from Covid lockdowns, are drastically below their pre-Covid trajectory, and flatlined over the past year:

The Wages of the Media’s Big Lie of 2024

In a year filled with media misses, the biggest collective lie of all not only cost Democrats the election but may have permanently reshaped the landscape of journalism in America.

The Wall Street Journal has recently released a series of reports about how President Joe Biden was essentially incapable of carrying out the duties of his office from the day he stepped into the Oval Office.

What the Wall Street Journal is doing is less real-time journalism, and more like investigative history.

One wonders whether the Biden White House was a Woodrow and Edith Wilson situation—where the first lady essentially operated as the unelected, unofficial president in her mentally incapacitated husband’s place—or was ruled by a Barack Obama shadow president, or perhaps the executive branch was wholly controlled by bureaucrats and woke interest groups. The answer is probably some combination of these things.

Maybe the Wall Street Journal’s reporting will finally sort this out.

The fact is that Biden’s mental decline has been blatantly obvious for years. The legacy media was wholly uninterested and unwilling to do any kind of digging to reveal the depth of the president’s decline to the public.

Biden transformed his basement campaign into a closet presidency. Despite having a fawning media in his corner, he rarely made public appearances. Those he did make seemed to be tightly controlled.  The aging president’s demeanor suggested that he was suffering through some form of age-related dementia, and certainly memory loss.

Sure, maybe Biden blurting out things like “God save the queen” randomly at speaking engagements could be written off as an eccentricity, but the number of times Biden seemed completely out of it in public from day one was hard to miss.

Nevertheless, the media persisted in their Pravda-esque coverup, which only escalated in 2024 as the presidential campaign season began.

This big lie about Biden’s health not only put the country at risk, it also heavily contributed to their worst nightmare of Donald Trump marching back triumphantly into the White House with electoral and cultural headwinds in his favor.

Given that many Americans had concerns about Biden’s mental state even as he ran for president in 2020, it should have been a media priority to dig into whether the criticism was true or not. The only thing they ever seemed to be interested in is acting like Biden administration PR managers, desperately trying to “contextualize” every worrying sign that the president wasn’t all there.

Victor Davis Hanson Dismantles Dems’ ‘Idea’ Of How ‘Real Masculine Men’ Should Behave

Here’s the key line: Hanson went on to say that Democrats define masculine men as those who “cede authority” to women, before ripping into both Emhoff and Walz’s problematic pasts. “So if you want to impregnate your nanny and arrange for her to have a child and then buy her a house and then cover it up for years, that’s what a sensitive man does. Or if you want to lie about your military record serially, that’s OK too because you’re a sensitive male. So one of the elements of sensitive masculinity is that while you may sin and those are traits of the toxic masculinity and you’re trying to overcome them,”

Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson on his podcast Thursday broke down what he said was Democrats’ “idea” of how “real masculine men” are expected to behave, and that includes what he said was their destruction of traditional masculinity.

Prior to President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in November, The New York Times released an article profiling the faces of Democrats’ “new masculinity.” The first was Doug Emhoff , who is husband to Vice President Kamala Harris. The second was Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who, last year, was Harris’ running mate.

On “The Victor Davis Hanson Show,” the senior fellow discussed how Democrats have rejected “traditional key men,” saying Emhoff and Walz have become key role models for women on the left.

“As I understand the subtext is on the left, that they are rejecting traditional key man masculinity on the right. So they don’t like the Dana White, the Joe Rogan, the Mixed Martial Arts, all of that group,” Hanson said. “But apparently they have an idea of a more sensitive, caring masculinity that when you look at these real men, they look endomorphic. Endomorphic is not a slur, Jack. It just means a body type where they’re invertebrate.”

“My point is Emhoff and Waltz, then they must have pushed these buttons, and I guess the buttons are partly they are helpers to powerful women like Kamala Harris or his, remember Waltz’s wife, kind of nutty? I think they took her off the trail,” Hanson said. “She’d get out and scream and yell. You got the impression that his leftward tilt, he ran as a congressional person, as a rural Clinton Democrat. And then he, this spouse kind of pushed him.”

In September, Emhoff sat down with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki for an interview, where she was seen asking the second gentleman about reshaping the “perception of masculinity.” Emhoff told the MSNBC host that he had always aimed to “do the right thing” and “support women” when asked about his role in the cultural movement.

Hanson went on to say that Democrats define masculine men as those who “cede authority” to women, before ripping into both Emhoff and Walz’s problematic pasts.

“I guess one of the subtext is that real masculine men cede authority or decision making to the female spouses because they’re confident in their masculinity, and they don’t have to have props like guns and cars. That’s part of it. The other thing must be that you have to, real masculine men are entitled to certain sins because they’re not in your face,” Hanson said.

“So if you want to impregnate your nanny and arrange for her to have a child and then buy her a house and then cover it up for years, that’s what a sensitive man does. Or if you want to lie about your military record serially, that’s OK too because you’re a sensitive male. So one of the elements of sensitive masculinity is that while you may sin and those are traits of the toxic masculinity and you’re trying to overcome them,” Hanson added.  “I guess what I’m saying is that they don’t sin.”

During their time on the campaign trail, both Emhoff and Walz came under fire over allegations involving their pasts.

Be a man. Even liberal women like masculine men, regardless of what is said. They broke for Trump as Walz and the rest of the dems were a bunch of pussies.

2024’s Winners and Losers: Year in Review

YMMV

Winners

AI

In 2024, you couldn’t escape artificial intelligence even if you tried.

Companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, and others released new AI models and expanded their capabilities. Their consumer-friendly tools like Claude and ChatGPT continued to become more powerful.

Elon Musk is building his own rival, rolling out improvements to Grok, his version of AI within X. “We will have something that is, for the first time, smarter than the smartest human,” Musk has predicted.

With big questions about government regulation and its application in everyday life, this technology is truly, in Musk’s words, “the most disruptive force in history.”

Joe Biden

Yes, you read that right. What is left of President Joe Biden is a winner in the year of our Lord 2024. Even though Biden’s own party threw a coup against him (the sitting president of the United States!) and removed him from the presidential race, the flip at the top of the ticket ended up being a flop.

Trump carried the Electoral College and the popular vote in his mandate victory. Now, it’s a serious question as to whether Biden would have performed better in the places that mattered most to carry the presidential election—Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin.

Biden was a party man for half a century, but ever since Democrats switched Biden for Kamala Harris, Biden has seemingly helped Republicans at every turn and acted purely out of self-interest.

His loyalists leaked details of the coup and Democrat infighting to the press, he wore a MAGA hat, and he gave Republicans a last-minute turnout boost by calling Trump supporters garbage. And, of course, since losing the election, he’s pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, after promising for years he would not. He’s created one political mess after another, and the Democratic party will be left to clean it up. Meanwhile, the president and his son will be on the beach in Delaware.

Bitcoin

The price of bitcoin was $44,000 on Jan. 1 and exceeded $100,000 in the weeks following Trump’s election.

With crypto-friendly officials dotting Trump’s new administration, there’s genuine excitement about its future. Paul Atkins is set to replace Gary Gensler as chairman of the Security and Exchange Commission and billionaire David Sacks, co-host of the “All In” podcast, will serve as Trump’s AI and crypto czar.

Dennis Porter, CEO and co-founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, told The Daily Signal that cryptocurrency like bitcoin can combat inflation and preserve individual freedom.

“You are able to operate wholly on your own with no third parties, without asking permission, you are able to access the bitcoin network globally, anywhere in the world and be able to participate in the economy without asking permission,” Porter said.

Tucker Carlson

After leaving Fox News and launching his own Tucker Carlson Network in 2023, the popular conservative commentator continued to influence the Republican Party’s agenda under Trump.

Known for his populist and common-sense perspectives, Carlson propelled to the top of the charts with millions watching or listening to his interviews and monologues.

His trip to Russia for a two-hour conversation with Vladimir Putin has more than 20 million views on YouTube. Another interview with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has more than 5 million, reflecting Carlson’s international reach.

Tucker Carlson Films expanded his content offerings even further. “The Art of the Surge,” a series produced by Justin Wells, offered viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Trump’s historic comeback, including shocking footage from the Butler, Pennsylvania, assassination attempt.

In September, Carlson hit the road for a cross-country speaking tour that featured conservative newsmakers, drawing sold-out crowds to hear from the likes of JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr., and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Dogs and Cats

At their only debate in September, Trump and Harris squared off on a range of policy issues. But the most memorable moment came amid reports of Haitian immigrants overwhelming the community of Springfield, Ohio.

“In Springfield, they are eating the dogs. The people that came in, they are eating the cats. They’re eating—they are eating the pets of the people that live there,” Trump said.

ABC News anchor David Muir, who repeatedly interjected during the debate, attempted to correct Trump. But it didn’t matter.

The story dominated the news for days as Americans saw Springfield as a representation of America’s broken immigration system. An estimated 20,000 immigrants were living in the community of 60,000.

Fox News

In a year when other TV networks lost viewers—and respect—Fox News maintained its position as the leader in cable news.

“Fox News Channel obliterated competitors in 2024, finishing the year with its highest share of the cable news audience since 2015,” Brian Flood reported for Fox News Digital.

Since the Nov. 5 election, Fox News has dominated its competition—both cable and network TV—with more than 4 million prime-time viewers (from 8-11 p.m. ET), according to Nielsen Media Research data. That makes Fox News the most-watched network, beating legacy media networks ABC, CBS, and NBC in prime-time.

In terms of market share, Fox News commanded 73% of the prime-time cable news audience as CNN’s and MSNBC’s ratings cratered following Trump’s victory.

Podcasters and social media personalities are getting deserved praise for their growing influence, but Fox News Channel is still the go-to destination for political and election news.

Tom Homan

Homan was among the first political figures Trump tapped for his new administration following his victory on Nov. 5.

After serving at the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement under the first Trump administration, Homan will now serve as Trump’s border czar and lead the way on Trump’s mass deportation plan.

Homan spent the last four years watching the Biden administration welcome over 10 million illegal aliens into the county, and now, with the full support of the president, he will have the opportunity to enforce U.S. immigration law and secure a border that he has spent his career defending, both in the Border Patrol and ICE.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes

The three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs orchestrated an overtime victory in February and has his team positioned for another appearance in 2025.

Patrick’s wife, Brittany, made headlines of her own when she liked an Instagram post of then-candidate Trump about the Republican Party’s platform. After facing a backlash, she wrote, “Jesus didn’t have to agree with people to be kind to them.”

Two other members of the Mahomes family endorsed Trump: Patrick’s younger brother Jackson and his mother Randi, who showed up to a Chiefs’ game in a MAGA hat.

McDonald’s

The iconic American fast-food restaurant found itself at the center of news on several occasions.

Donald Trump’s October campaign stop at a McDonald’s in the Philadelphia suburbs was a brilliant photo opportunity for the Republican candidate. But it also symbolized the difference between his appeal to working-class Americans in contrast to Kamala Harris.

Trump wore an apron and worked as a fry attendant. It was one of the most viral moments of the 2024 presidential election and a classic Trump move, particularly given Harris’ questionable employment at McDonald’s earlier in her life.

“As we’ve seen, our brand has been a fixture of conversation this election cycle. While we’ve not sought this, it’s a testament to how much McDonald’s resonates with so many Americans,” McDonald’s wrote after Trump’s visit. “McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office and that remains true in this race for the next President. We are not red or blue—we are golden.”

McDonald’s made news again in December when a customer in an Altoona, Pennsylvania, restaurant spotted murder suspect Luigi Mangione, leading to his arrest.

Elon Musk

Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, and his transformation of the platform into the free speech engine that is X today, likely helped Trump’s historic election victory. Musk also contributed to that victory by endorsing Trump and urging swing-state voters to sign his petition for the chance at winning $1 million.

Musk not only played a historic role in the election; he will also help lead the Department of Government Efficiency, an external advisory board to trim waste and prevent abuse in the federal government.

In December, Musk rallied Americans on X to oppose a must-pass government funding bill that had been stuffed with pork. His opposition to the bill grew naturally out of his work on the Department of Government Efficiency and his efforts led Trump to oppose the bill and House Speaker Mike Johnson to withdraw it from consideration.

Podcasters

Podcasting took center stage this year, with 2024 being the first ever “podcast election,” and for good reason.

Over 53 million Americans tuned in to hear Trump’s three-hour conversation with Joe Rogan covering everything under the sun—from tariffs to golfing to fixing the “wrongs” of his first term. America also watched Vance communicate Trump’s vision for the country over the next four years with Theo Von—all while proving he can joke around and isn’t “weird.” Even Kamala Harris’ failed campaign hopped on the podcast bandwagon with a 45-minute appearance on “Call Her Daddy.”

But why the sudden interest in podcasts? Americans are fed up the corporate media lies, so they fled to a more uncensored platform. An October Gallup poll revealed that trust in the media hit a historic low, with 36% saying they have “no trust at all in the media,” and 33% expressing “not very much” confidence.

Now, everyone and their mother—from CNN’s Chris Wallace to former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley—are scrambling to hop on the podcasting wave. The Daily Signal launched a brand-new podcast this year, “The Signal Sitdown,” where members of Congress explain how the sausage really gets made in Washington, DC.

Dennis Quaid

The longtime Hollywood actor starred in the hit movie “Reagan.”

Based on Paul Kengor’s book, “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism,” the movie was a box-office success. It made more than $30 million worldwide, far exceeding expectations.

Quaid’s performance was a big reason for the movie’s success.

“Dennis was always my first choice because he required almost no hair and makeup touchups to get him camera-ready,” producer Mark Joseph told The Daily Signal. “He’s a natural, and he has that great Reaganesque smile and persona. He’s a busy guy, so it took some time to nail him down, but he was always the one for me.”

Joe Rogan

In the weeks before Election Day, Trump shunned CBS News’ “60 Minutes” and other corporate media outlets in favor of modern-day influencers like Joe Rogan, Theo Von, and Logan Paul. Megyn Kelly, whose show is regularly among the top 10 podcasts, joined Trump on the campaign trail in Pittsburgh.

Trump’s interviews with these influencers accumulated more than 100 million views—and reached voters who don’t get their news from traditional media sources.

Donald Trump Jr. told Daily Wire podcast host Michael Knowles that he and his father discussed giving Rogan a press pass to the White House to shake up the status quo.

“I was sitting there, and we were talking about, like, the podcast world, and some of our friends, and [Joe] Rogan, and guys like you, and me to a lesser extent—I wouldn’t be able to get a seat, that would be nepotism or whatever the hell,” Trump Jr. said. “But we had the conversation about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists.”

Trump has disrupted the corporate media’s business as usual, and Rogan appears to be coming out on top.

Josh Shapiro

Pennsylvania’s Democrat governor was on the short list to become Kamala Harris’ vice president. Instead, Harris picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after a few notable TV appearances

In retrospect, Shapiro should count his blessings.

After a strong debut in August, Harris failed to live up to the fanfare down the stretch. Walz will be an afterthought in the history books.

Shapiro, meanwhile, can now position himself for a future presidential run without Harris’ baggage. He’ll need to win reelection in 2026 and then overcome the left’s fears about his support for Israel and past endorsement of school choice.

Donald Trump

After easily vanquishing his Republican rivals in the GOP primaries, Donald Trump did the same to the incumbent president. Joe Biden was no match for his predecessor after their June debate, setting into motion an unprecedented turn of events over the summer that resulted in Vice President Kamala Harris being anointed the Democrat nominee—without winning a single vote.

As if those political hurdles weren’t enough, Trump also emerged unscathed from the Left’s lawfare and then survived two assassination attempts on his life. A bullet came within mere centimeters of killing him in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.

Heading into Election Day, legacy media outlets were convinced it was a toss-up race between Harris and Trump. Instead, it turned out to be a historic Trump mandate, sweeping all seven swing states, capturing the popular vote, and making major gains with blacks, Hispanics, and younger Americans.

As he departed the White House in 2021, Trump left at a political low point. Few pundits gave him a chance at redemption, and yet Americans witnessed in 2024 the greatest political comeback in U.S. history. With Biden already AWOL, Trump is wasting little time to make his mark, recognizing the precious little time he has to implement his policy engage, deliver on his promises, and finally drain the swamp in Washington, D.C.

Losers

College Presidents

Anti-Israel protests continued to rock college campuses. They also ended the careers of three Ivy League university presidents.

Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania resigned in December 2023, the first of three presidents to lose their jobs. Harvard’s Claudine Gay stepped down in January and Columbia’s Minouche Shafik in August.

Magill and Gay’s downfall came after facing off against Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., at a congressional hearing. Shafik was unable to handle antisemitic protests at Columbia.

“THREE DOWN, so many to go,” Stefanik said. “We will continue to demand moral clarity, condemnation of antisemitism, protection of Jewish students and faculty, and stronger leadership from American higher education institutions.”

As the year drew to a close, George Mason University President Gregory Washington found himself under scrutiny for its own problems. Three of its students, all of Middle Eastern origin, had run-ins with the police over weapons and pro-terror material.

Mark Cuban

Best known for his role on “Shark Tank,” the Dallas Mavericks owner was among the most vociferous defenders of Harris when she replaced Biden atop the ticket.

Cuban appeared at campaign rallies, on television, and regularly engaged online in support of the Democrat presidential candidate. He extreme rhetoric—calling Trump a “threat” with “fascist tendencies”—epitomized the left’s hyperbolic language.

At one point during the campaign, he admitted to ABC News that “Harris is just not a good salesperson,” prompting his own involvement in the race.

Some pundits speculated that Cuban wanted a high-profile job in a Harris administration, perhaps leading the Securities and Exchange Commission. Instead, he’ll be watching the action from the sidelines.

After Trump’s victory, Cuban wrote on Bluesky, “Don’t expect any politics or speculation about what might happen for a while.”

Nikki Haley

After suspending her political campaign in March, Haley has found herself somewhat politically homeless among a shifting Republican Party.

Haley was a fierce critic of Trump during the 2024 presidential race, despite serving as ambassador to the U.N. under a portion of his first administration. Though Haley made an appearance at the Republican National Convention, Trump was clear after his victory that there was no place for Haley in his administration.

“I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in November.

Haley is now working in the private sector at Edelman, a global communications firm.

Sunny Hostin

What was supposed to be a friendly question for Kamala Harris turned into a disaster. Appearing on “The View” in early October, Hostin asked Harris if she would do anything differently from Biden.

“There is not a thing that comes to mind,” Harris replied.

The answer surprised even friendly Hostin, who followed up to give Harris another opportunity. After the election, Hostin admitted that Harris missed the mark.

“The reason I followed up was because that wasn’t a gotcha question,” Hostin said. “That was a layup, really.”

Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller pointed to the interview as a turning point in the campaign.

“I think this Kamala Harris strategy of going out and doing a whole bunch of media has really backfired. I mean, who would’ve thought that Sunny Hostin from The View really killed Kamala Harris’ candidacy?” Miller said.

Legacy Media

Election Day was not just a high-stakes contest of competing visions for America’s political institutions and future. It was about the future of our other commanding heights institutions as well—academia, finance, the media, and the like.

None of these institutions or industries had as high of stakes as the media: 2024’s campaign cycle was a test to see if the corporate media could put an empty suit (whether by the name of Joe Biden or Kamala Harris) in the White House, or if alternative media could pose a real threat to the corporate media’s power.

Trump’s victory, not to mention conservative control of the House and Senate, proved the latter.

To add insult to injury, ABC has agreed to pay Trump $15 million to settle a defamation lawsuit after George Stephanopoulos falsely claimed Trump was found “liable for rape.” For some reason, the corporate press feels threatened by this settlement. “Trump is already delivering on his promise to go after the press,” one Politico headline read.

If going after the press means the corporate media can no longer spread malicious lies with impunity, Americans ought to hope Trump delivers on this promise tenfold.

Mitch McConnell

Senate Minority Whip John Thune, R-S.D., will succeed Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., as the GOP’s new leader in the 119th Congress. (Andrew Harnik/Getty Images)

Senate Republicans will have a new leader for the first time in 18 years—and there’s palpable excitement on Capitol Hill for the changing of the guard.

Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., stepped down from his leadership perch after pressure from conservatives and his own health problems. He’ll serve out the remainder of his term, which ends in 2027.

In recent years, McConnell made more headlines for his clashes with Trump and the MAGA movement than any legislative accomplishments. Even on his way out, he couldn’t help taking a shot at Trump.

“To pretend that the United States can focus on just one threat at a time, that its credibility is divisible, or that it can afford to shrug off faraway chaos as irrelevant is to ignore its global interests and its adversaries’ global designs,” McConnell wrote in Foreign Affairs. “America will not be made great again by those who simply want to manage its decline.”

McConnell leaves his leadership job as one of America’s most unpopular politicians.

His successor, Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., won a three-way race for the top job. Even though he wasn’t the first choice of MAGA voters, Thune has signaled support for Trump’s agenda and nominees.

Planned Parenthood

Pro-life voters ended their losing streak at the ballot box, stopping three statewide constitutional amendments in support of abortion.

Those wins in Florida, Nebraska, and South Dakota give the pro-life cause a reason for optimism, even as measures passed in seven other states.

More importantly, the left’s pro-abortion enthusiasm appeared to wane at the ballot box. Unlike the 2022 midterm election, when the issue halted the Republican “red wave,” this time Democrats were on defense for a range of other issues, including inflation, border security, and crime.

With the incoming Trump administration poised to restore pro-life protections, Planned Parenthood will also be a target of Congress. The abortion giant relies on taxpayer funding for its operations.

In recent years, Planned Parenthood has expanded its portfolio to include transgender services. Abortion remains its priority, however. With approximately 200 abortions for every adoption referral, there’s no mistaking this organization’s evil intentions.

Taylor Swift

Among the major celebrities endorsing Harris, there was no one bigger than Taylor Swift. But just like her uninspiring 2018 endorsement of Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s Democrat opponent in Tennessee, Swift’s embrace of Harris ended with a loss.

Swift weighed in after the presidential debate between Harris and Trump in September.

“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate [Tim Walz], who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”

She signed the note, “Childless Cat Lady,” in reference to a comment Sen. JD Vance made in an earlier interview.

Swift should stick to her day job. Her popular Eras Tour was far more successful than her political picks.

The Woke Bureaucracy

As Tyler O’Neil’s forthcoming book “The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government” reveals, the Left’s dark money network props up a system of woke nonprofits that staff and advise the federal government, pushing the bureaucracy to support critical race theory (the notion that America is systemically racist against blacks and for whites), gender ideology, climate alarmism, and technocratic government.

The woke elites lost big in the 2024 presidential election, and woke activist groups like the Human Rights Campaign have been losing steam all year. Human Rights Campaign runs a Corporate Equality Index that acts as a shakedown operation, demanding cash and public celebrations of the LGBTQ agenda in exchange for protection from the woke mob. Many companies have opted to leave that index, and Human Rights Campaign lost a key ally when it became clear the Biden-Harris administration would not continue.

Woke bureaucrats are going to fight to maintain their grasp on power, but thanks to the incoming Trump administration and allies like the Department of Government Efficiency, those bureaucrats will be playing defense.

Who Can Trust White House Reporters Who Hid Biden’s Infirmity?

Even after The Wall Street Journal published a four-byline bombshell detailing how Joe Biden’s staff energetically hid his ongoing cognitive decline from the public, there wasn’t a single question at the White House briefing. No reporters demanded answers about how they were misled, or complained they were pressured into silence.

They mustered that umbrage over the Hunter Biden pardon, but this slow-rolling scandal was apparently too painful to recount. Perhaps they thought that since Biden was talked out of a re-election bid, the matter was settled. This scandal is already over. But Trump scandals never stop emerging.

Radio host Hugh Hewitt proclaimed he had been calling Biden “infirm” for two years, but didn’t know the depth of the infirmity that’s now been revealed. Everyone inside the White House must have known, including the reporters. He said they were “either explicitly complicit or recklessly indifferent” to Biden’s decline.

Hewitt upset knee-jerk defenders of the media when he said “with the exception of Peter Doocy, I would ban everyone from the White House press room who has been there for the past four years, because they are obviously of no use to the country. They didn’t tell us the number one thing, which is that [Biden] is not competent. Why in the world would Trump let them in?”

The media is corrupt and is the propaganda arm of the democrat party. They are a bunch of Bagdad Bob’s telling us anything but what is really going on. They have an agenda and helping inform Americans isn’t it.

An Arizona man filmed himself spraying bug killer on food at a Walmart. He told police he can make up to $10,000 a month posting these ‘pranks.’

MESA, Ariz. — An arrest has been made following a video on social media showing a man spraying bug killer on produce at a Mesa grocery store, police said.

In a video posted to “X,” formerly known as Twitter, on Dec. 19, 27-year-old Charles Smith is seen spraying “Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bud and Flea Killer” on bananas, potatoes, lemons, limes and rotisserie chickens at a Walmart in Mesa.

According to the post on “X”, the original video was deleted from social media. 12News found the original posts from what appears to be Smith’s TikTok page which had several videos. Some showed Smith appear to lock people inside of a Goodwill and throw food at people at a mall.

Mesa Police said they notified the store management and said “any produce that may have been affected has been removed from all areas accessible to the public.”

Sounds Like My College Girlfriend – OnlyFans Girl Breaks Down In Tears After Sleeping With 100 Men In A Single Day

An OnlyFans porn star broke down in tears after sleeping with 100 men in a single day in order to gain social media clout.

Actually 101.

Lily Phillips thought that having sex with so many men would catapult her to viral fame, and it did briefly, but she’s now counting the cost.

In a documentary made by YouTuber Josh Pieters titled I Slept With 100 Men in One Day, Pieters almost vomits at the sight of a bedroom littered with lube, used condoms, wrappers and tissues after Phillips had spent a nauseating 14 hours fornicating.

By the time the 30th man rocked up, the porn star said she began to “disassociate,” remarking, “It’s not like normal sex. I can only think of five, six, 10 guys that I remember and that’s it. It’s weird.”

Phillips said she began to feel “robotic,” but ‘felt bad’ about not giving every man at least the promised five minutes.

“When I started making this documentary, I wasn’t too sure of what to expect, I certainly didn’t expect to see Lily so upset at the end of it all,” said Pieters, as Phillips goes to hug her friend while sobbing.

I’m just glad that I found out she was sleeping around after I broke up with her, and that I didn’t catch anything. I’m glad I got out when I did, just not soon enough.
