CBS News on Thursday announced it will pull the plug on Stephen Colbert’s late-night show next year, stating the decision was “purely financial” and not a reflection on the years-long host.

The iconic program, which has been around for 10 seasons, will also be the last of the network’s “late night” shows franchise. The network started its “late-night” programming in 1993 after landing David Letterman, according to Variety.

Trump Slashes CO2 Regs Behind War on Energy

The Trump administration just dealt another blow to the anti-energy, anti-prosperity agenda pursued by the Biden administration underpinned by the man-made “climate change” hypothesis. Under the proposed repeal of previous “climate” regulations on energy production announced this month, many of the power plants targeted for destruction could remain open, and CO₂ would no longer be considered dangerous “pollution.” Naturally, that has the “climate” movement screaming bloody murder.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the effect of the so-called greenhouse gases coming from U.S. energy production using hydrocarbons (or “fossil fuels”) is so small as to be negligible. The agency also pointed out that the CO₂ from power plants is not actually hurting people’s health, contrary to the demonstrably false claims of previous administrations. The latest announcement is part of a suite of two dozen “climate” decrees being eliminated by the administration.

Under the plan, coal and hydrocarbons could continue to provide power for U.S. consumers and businesses. “Rest assured President Trump is the biggest supporter of clean, beautiful coal,” EPA chief Lee Zeldin announced at the agency’s headquarters. “EPA is helping pave the way for American energy dominance because energy development underpins economic development, which in turn strengthens national security.”

The EPA regulatory changes, explained in a proposed rule released this month, would “repeal all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions standards for fossil fuel-fired power plants,” the agency explained. “The EPA is further proposing to make a finding that GHG [greenhouse gas] emissions from fossil fuel-fired power plants do not contribute significantly to dangerous air pollution.”

Despite confessing to the stabbing that led to the death of athlete Austin Metcalf at a track event on April 2, 2025 in Frisco, Texas, Anthony was given greatly reduced bail and allowed to remain under house arrest by a progressive activist judge.

Anthony’s family posted a public fundraiser on GiveSendGo which ultimately raised over $500,000 for legal expenses. Many of the donations included racially charged messages calling for Karmelo to be “protected” regardless of his crime simply because he is black and his victim was white. The stabbing has been represented as an act of self defense, but also as “payback” against white people.

The call for donations was then amended to include money needed for “relocation” (a new home) after the family claimed they received threats. Karmelo was allowed by Texas courts to leave the state for an “undisclosed location” until his trial, a highly unusual accommodation. Furthermore, the Anthony’s have engaged in a press bonanza which has turned the case into a circus.

The Trump administration is moving to ban the sale of U.S. farmland to foreign adversaries, with a particular focus on China, citing national security and food system vulnerabilities, according to MSN/Washington Post.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the policy shift Tuesday, saying the administration is preparing an executive order and working with state lawmakers to block further land purchases, especially near military bases.

“With this announcement today we are taking this purpose and our American farmland back,” Rollins said. “American agriculture is not just about feeding our families but about protecting our nation and standing up to foreign adversaries who are buying our farmland, stealing our research and creating dangerous vulnerabilities.”

In a joint press conference with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Rollins said officials are exploring “every available option” to potentially claw back land already purchased by China-linked entities.

Solar Farms Paid To Switch Off – Money Down The Toilet On A Boondoggle

British solar farms have been paid to switch off for the first time as sunny days prompt a surge of clean power that could overwhelm the grid.

The National Energy System Operator (Neso), which manages the UK’s power grids and is overseen by Ed Miliband, the Energy Secretary, has issued switch-off orders to solar facilities this year, new research reveals.

Operators are paid to switch off when these orders are issued, with the extra cost added to consumer and business energy bills.

The solar operators claiming compensation are understood to include some of the UK’s biggest energy suppliers, such as EDF Renewables and Octopus Energy.

Such “constraint payments” are already common with wind farms because so many have been built in areas such as northern Scotland or offshore, areas without grid capacity to carry the power they generate.

So far this year, constraint payments have cost consumers £650m, according to the Wasted Wind website. The cost is added to energy bills.

Overall “balancing payments” could hit £8bn a year by 2030 without massive grid upgrades, according to Neso estimates. Such upgrades would also be extremely costly, with consumers liable.

One is that President Donald Trump had issued an executive order suggesting or maybe threatening K-12 sports programs—and indeed, college and higher education as well—that if they allowed biological men to compete in women’s sports, then he was going to consider cutting off federal funds for that.

But at the same time he did it, the number of transgendered women—that is biological men who have transitioned to supposedly women—has increased and soared in women’s sports.

So, here on the West Coast, a trans athlete dominated the state high school track and field competitions, winning three or four main events. The same thing happened in Oregon. The same thing had happened in Washington. The same thing is happening in Minneapolis with girls baseball in the finals.

The point is it’s usually a phenomenon in blue states and in particular, blue cities. And Donald Trump’s executive orders are going the way of sanctuary cities. People are just ignoring them because they feel that he wouldn’t dare cut off federal funds because it would shut down the whole school.

But let’s get some background on this whole transgendered sports phenomenon. And maybe there’s five or six things we should keep in mind.

No. 1: We know a lot about gender dysphoria. There’s a long history of sex research about people whose psychological or hormonal makeup does not match their physical characteristics. But here’s the key: They’re very rare.

The first incident happened in North New Hyde Park Tuesday afternoon — where temps topped around 99 degrees Fahrenheit — as a bus turned onto the exposed top level of a parking garage, but then plunged through the roadway as the ground opened beneath it.

“With everything going on I thought Iran was here,” said garage attendant Ricky Cody, who heard a loud bang as the bus’ rear end sank into the broken blacktop.

Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal launched an attack against “Harry Potter” series author J.K. Rowling on Tuesday, when a Vanity Fair cover story came out in which he called her a bully who makes him “f***ing sick” for her stance on the transgenderism.

“Bullies make me f***ing sick,” he told Vanity when the topic of J.K. Rowling came up.

The author has been at the center of controversy for her refusal to acknowledge people as being the opposite sex of which they were born.

Pascal reportedly has a self-proclaimed transgender younger sibling and had already gone after Rowling for purportedly exhibiting “heinous loser behavior” earlier this year.

This was due to her celebrating a U.K. Supreme Court ruling that stated self-proclaimed transgender women cannot legally be considered women and self-proclaimed transgender men are not to be legally considered men.

It’s odd how he did not use his up-and-coming clout to “help” his former Disney co-star Gina Carano when she was sandbagged and fired by Disney for expressing personal views on social media about hatred becoming toxic.

Because she invoked Nazi Germany as an example, she was cancelled.

Carano sued Disney and won a recent ruling that will force the conglomerate to produce documents related to Pascal and other actors.

She co-starred with him on “The Mandalorian” as Cara Dune, a fan-favorite character, for two seasons.

Carino is winning her suit against Disney for discrimination, for shit sjust like what Pedro did.

In one of the most stunning upsets for the progressive wing of the Democratic Party since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s unseating of Joseph Crowley in a 2018 primary battle, state Rep. Zohran Mamdani cruised to an apparent victory in the New York City mayoral primary, handily beating former governor and the presumptive favorite in the race, Andrew Cuomo.

While New York City uses ranked-choice voting and the results won’t be official until next week, Cuomo has already conceded the race with Mamdani ahead by a 43.5 percent to 36.4 percent margin. Given that most polls that had Mamdani winning still had Cuomo ahead in the first round, this means the former governor has no reasonable path forward in the primary, although the ranked-choice balloting will still go forward until a candidate has 50 percent.

Israeli archaeologists recently uncovered an ancient sarcophagus depicting a scene familiar to many today: a drinking game.

The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced the discovery in a Facebook post on June 9.

The Roman sarcophagus, or coffin, was found at an archaeological site within the ancient capital city of Caesarea. The discovery is the first of its kind in Israel.

The marble sarcophagus illustrates a drinking scene between Dionysus, the god of wine, and Hercules.

Pictures from the site show archaeologists beaming next to the discovery, which the IAA described as “spectacular.”

“In the center we see Dionysus, the god of wine, and around him a lively retinue of a host of mythological characters such as Maenads (female followers of Dionysus), satyrs, Hermes, Pan, lions and tigers,” the IAA’s statement read.

Archaeologists were unsure of what the entire scene depicted until the sarcophagus was handed over to the IAA’s conservation team — who assembled the fragments.

“Thanks to the restoration, the scenes have been fully revealed,” the IAA said.

IAA archaeologists likened the discovery to “a scene out of a movie.”

BLM Org Asks ‘White Folks’ For Juneteenth Reparations As Finances Fizzle

A nonprofit affiliated with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement is asking “white folks” for monetary reparations as its finances have dwindled in recent years.

Black Lives Matter Grassroots made a series of demands for assistance to “our people” and to hold white Americans “accountable” in a Thursday press release honoring Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the liberation of slaves in the U.S. The group laid out requests for specific ethnic groups, reiterating its brand of leftist identity politics that has lost significant amounts of public support, according to May polling from Pew Research Center.

Black Lives Matter Grassroots Director Melina Abdullah has also been accused of spending some of the nonprofit’s cash to pay for a personal vacation to Jamaica, according to The Washington Free Beacon. The organization “had total holdings of roughly $24 million” in January 2022, according to a letter from an attorney tasked by BLM leaders with investigating the various financial issues.

The group began reporting its finances publicly for the 2023 tax year, showing it started the year with nearly $4 million in assets. However, that figure fell to nearly $2,600,000, tax records show, and Black Lives Matter Grassroots raked in just $77,084 in revenue against $1,449,018 in expenses in 2023.

Blue-collar workers have seen real wage growth of almost two percent in the first five months of President Donald Trump’s second term, the largest increase for any administration in nearly 60 years.

The 1.7% pay bump is in stark contrast to negative growth under Joe Biden, according to new data from the US Department of the Treasury.

Since Richard Nixon in 1969, Trump has been the only president to record positive growth for blue-collar workers in his first five months. He also achieved 1.3% in his first term.

The recovery from a 1.7% decline recorded in Biden’s first five months, as inflation outpaced earnings, suggests a shift in economic conditions for this financially stressed segment of the workforce.

“The only other time it’s been this high was… during President Trump’s first term,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told me on the latest episode of the “Pod Force One” podcast, out Wednesday.

“We’ve seen real wages for hourly workers, non-supervisory workers, rise almost 2% in the first five months. … No president has done that before.”

Falling inflation has driven the significant improvement in blue-collar wages, lifting workers’ take-home pay and living standards.

Bessent says wage growth is also fueled by the president’s “emphasis on manufacturing” and commitment to remove illegal migrants from the workforce.

“Biden opened the border, and it was flooded,” said Bessent. “And for working Americans, that’s a disaster because it’s pressure on their wages.”

In one mishap — in April 2020, 90 days into the pandemic — a UNC researcher was bitten on the index finger by a mouse infected with a novel SARS-CoV-2 variant created in Chapel Hill. While we were shut in our homes, the researcher was asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, and the local health department was notified of the incident.

It is helpful to judge public health risk as a relative matter with more than one data point. Since 1952, NC State University has operated a campus nuclear reactor in downtown Raleigh closely regulated by state and federal authorities. If there were a radiation accident, no one would disagree it would be an acute health risk to the region. Therefore, the reactor is monitored by the government.

Compared to other risks, virology research at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health involving SARS-CoV-2, MERS coronavirus, and related animal coronaviruses operates in an unmonitored, unregulated environment, posing potentially catastrophic global consequences if mishandled. This unmonitored, unregulated research is both a local and a global concern.

Recent documents obtained by court order by the public advocacy non-profit US Right to Know (USRTK) reveal that UNC developed and then exported dangerous coronavirus technologies and coronavirus research plans in the years leading up to the pandemic.

The two-day event in the city’s historic Five Points neighborhood was cut to just one day. Harris added:

It’s not just Denver. In West Virginia, Juneteenth events were canceled altogether, with the governor’s office citing financial strain. The announcement followed Gov. Patrick Morrisey’s signing of legislation to eliminate all DEI programs statewide. His office said:

“Due to the continued fiscal challenges facing West Virginia, state government will not be sponsoring any formal activities,” deputy press secretary Drew Galang said in an email.

Harvard Prof Fired for Fabricating Honesty Data

Harvard, that bastion of integrity, just fired Harvard Business School professor Francesca Gino, who, according to The Harvard Crimson, “has been fighting data fraud allegations for nearly four years.”

It marked a historic faculty penalty for Harvard, which has not revoked a professor’s tenure since the 1940s, when academic protection rules were institutionalized.

The Crimson notes: “Gino, a behavioral scientist who became famous for studying honesty and ethical behavior, was accused of manipulating observations to better support her conclusions. Before her work came under scrutiny, she was a prominent researcher in her field and the fifth-highest paid employee at Harvard in 2018 and 2019, receiving more than $1 million in compensation each year.”

Harvard might be a mere pipe dream for most American college-hunting brainiacs, but for “so many Chinese communist officials” it rates as their top “party school,” The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

Not only has Chinese President Xi Jinping’s own daughter been a student at Harvard, but a former vice president and Xi’s top negotiator with the first Trump administration studied there as leaders in China see Harvard education as a path to Chinese Communist Party positions.

And it is not a new thing.

President Donald Trump sought to change the paradigm with China during his first administration just months before the COVID-19 pandemic exploded around the world.

Now, Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are seeking to curb the stocking of America’s chief economic, if not military, rival with the state-of-the-world education, monitoring foreign student visas and putting new ones on hold to establish extreme vetting measures for students flooding to Harvard who might be seeking to work against American interests.

Rubio announced Wednesday the effort to “aggressively revoke visas for Chinese students, including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields.”

The move has Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning saying Chinese students have the rights of Americans, despite merely being permitted foreign student visa holders, saying Rubio’s move “seriously damaged the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese students.”

Rubio says foreign visa holders have the privilege, not the right, to be in the U.S.

Trump now wants to cut Harvard’s estimated foreign student visa base in half, down to 15% to make sure those attended from foreign rivals like China “are people that can love our country.”

“I think Harvard has to get a kick in the rear end,” Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax‘s “Saturday Agenda.” “It’s not going to do it by itself. The president of Harvard would like to do the right thing, and he’s a very decent man.

“But there are too many radical left-wing faculty members that are Marxists and that are antisemites and that are anti-American and anti-Christian and want to see Harvard become the kind of woke institution that turns out the kinds of political leaders that they would like to see dominate the country.”

While Harvard is the Chinese Communist Party school of choice, this China education train is not exclusive. It extends to Biden’s alma mater at Syracuse University, too.

Syracuse offers executive training for Chinese officials and since the early 2000s its Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs has helped set up programs at Chinese universities.

Harvard’s China focus began in the 1980s, but it ramped up under former President Bill Clinton in the late ’90s, leading to the “China’s Leaders in Development” program to “help prepare senior local and central Chinese government officials to more effectively address the ongoing challenges of China’s national reforms,” according to the report.

A Texas doctor who defrauded federal health programs of $28 million as part of a massive $118 million scheme has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, the Department of Justice announced.

Dr. Jorge Zamora-Quezada, a rheumatologist based in Mission, Texas, falsely diagnosed hundreds of healthy patients with rheumatoid arthritis and subjected them to costly, unnecessary — and sometimes dangerous — treatments. His scheme targeted Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, stealing millions in taxpayer dollars meant to support vulnerable Americans.

Prosecutors said Zamora-Quezada operated a years-long fraud out of his clinic, using his medical license and staff — many of whom were foreign workers dependent on their employment visas — to fuel a lifestyle of luxury. He purchased a Maserati GranTurismo, a private jet, and 13 properties across the U.S. and Mexico, all while exposing innocent patients to toxic medications with serious, sometimes permanent side effects.

“Dr. Zamora-Quezada funded his luxurious lifestyle for two decades by traumatizing his patients, abusing his employees, lying to insurers, and stealing taxpayer money,” DOJ Criminal Division head Matthew R. Galeotti said.

Newly declassified intelligence records have revealed that the Biden administration labeled Americans who opposed the COVID-19 vaccination and mask mandates as “Domestic Violent Extremists.”

The documents, which were declassified by DNI Tulsi Gabbard, show that they cutely abbreviated the term to ‘DVEs’.

Catherine Herridge, one of the journalists who obtained the records, notes “The designation created an “articulable purpose” for FBI or other government agents to open an “assessment” of individuals.”

A former FBI agent told Herridge that this “is often the first step toward a formal investigation.”

The report… claims that “anti government or anti authority violent extremists,” specifically militias, “characterize COVID-19 vaccination and mask mandates as evidence of government overreach.” A sweeping range of COVID narratives, the report states, “have resonated” with DVEs “motivated by QAnon.”

The FBI, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) coauthored the December 13, 2021 intelligence product whose title reads, “DVEs and Foreign Analogues May React Violently to COVID-19 Mitigation Mandates.”

The report cites criticism of mandates as “prominent narratives” related to violent extremism. These narratives “include the belief that COVID-19 vaccines are unsafe, especially for children, are part of a government or global conspiracy to deprive individuals of their civil liberties and livelihoods, or are designed to start a new social or political order.

“It’s a way they could go to social media companies and say, ‘You don’t want to propagate domestic terrorism so you should take down this content,’” said former FBI agent Steve Friend.

A study has confirmed what we all suspected: “K” is officially the worst text you can send.

I was dating what was to be my last girlfriend before I met my wife. Claudia.

We’d met through a mutual friend and I wasn’t seeing anyone so I was up for anything. My life at the time was on the go with travel, my last foray with alcohol and knowing life was going to catch up with me because I was the only one of my friends who hadn’t gotten married.

She was a piano teacher who lived half the week in Boca and the other in Miami (1.5 hours from Boca) to get her Ph.D. I had half the week off on my social calendar.

Why did I pick her for a girlfriend? I gave her a shot because she looked like a past girlfriend that I’m not sure I was over with in my head so we went out. They were way different so that moment passed by quickly.

To cut to the chase, 1 year became 2 and then I became bored. She was kind of a stiff out of the sack, but a pretty willing sport that gave me multiple options of places to put things in bed. I’d been pulling ass for many years and didn’t have the stamina to put up with girls’ verbal bullshit anymore. She, like all girls was afraid of her image to other people, including any shit that I pulled when I was with her. I was doing shit to her all the time because it was like dealing with a school girl as she’d lived such a sheltered life.

My level of boldness with pulling shit increased with how much I drank. At the time, it was a lot.

I got bored and had already gotten some side action on business trips and I noticed that it didn’t bother me guilt-wise. I actually never stopped sleeping with the last girl I broke up with before Claudia, We still banged the whole time I dated Claudia. She was away half the week so the ex sort of agreed to Friends With Benefits. She was secretary to the owner of the company, so as long as I was banging her, I found out the shit the company was doing.

The girl from are you this big of a bitch in Las Vegas was during my years with Claudia. It’s a good story also. She was way more bangable than Claudia.

THE BREAKUP MOVE

So with that being said, I already knew that she was not going to be the one for life for me. I stuck around a little while longer for some reason (until I had another pony in the stable).

I for some dumbass reason took her to my parents, 4 hours there, 4 hours back. She acted ok and probably thought this was the next step in the wedding staircase. She’s about to find out where the staircase just ends.

I’d been making this drive for over a decade mostly solo so I’ve had to stop. I’ve found that there are outcroppings by the side of the road. You can just stand on the other side of the bushes and pee and be back on the road quickly.

I’m old so there were no Truck stop mega stations at this time or even a convenience store at every exit. You could go a long time before a real bathroom would come up. I learned to give up the fight early, go piss in the grass and be on my way. I found that people are way past you before they realized what they saw, and by then they couldn’t find my dick with a telescope.

So told Claudia too late about this, meaning I had to piss now. I didn’t think anything of it as I’ve done it dozens of times. She lost her mind that someone would see me pissing and her in the car. First of all, they wouldn’t see her, and most of all, a good girlfriend would laugh it off as guy stuff we do. Not this time.

The net of what happened was I had to drive for more than 3 exits (not close to each other) before I found an old gas station. The outside roadside was way cleaner than this bathroom. I had to piss so bad by then that I was almost doubled over. I was livid with Claudia though.

The net of what happened to Claudia was at that point, she was done in my mind. Anyone who is going to give me that much shit over nothing wasn’t going to be worth listening to for the rest of my life.

I didn’t say a fucking word to her the rest of the way home and I’m not sure I stayed with her that night. Girls can’t take it so she called. I told her my offer was dating part time because I was through in my head and if she wanted to bang on the side I’d do it. Her response, thinking that I’d back down was full time or no time. I said no time then and got off the phone quickly. I’d either lose that argument or waste too much time listening to crying bullshit.

You can only push a man so far, then he will stop, break, or deal with you. I dealt with her and shortly thereafter met my now wife. Since she’s European, they don’t care if you change clothes outside or even wear them at the beach so while I catch some married shit, it’s not about this.

So Claudia lost me by giving me too much shit about taking a leak by the side of the road.

On the other hand, her husband can thank me for teaching her how to swallow.

It’s a significant drop from last year and one of the biggest declines in violent crime rates in the country.

“Violent crime is just about reducing in every city, but we were the city in which it had declined the most,” said Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas.

Thomas says he is proud to have that distinction, and it speaks to the hard work of his officers.

“We’ve been able to see these significant reductions in crime without over policing communities,” said Thomas. “It’s one of the things we have understood was important and we need to be responsive, but we need to make sure we’re investing as much as we’re enforcing.”

It was, in the opinion of myself and many others, 16 years too late in coming; despite there being no evidence that he hadn’t killed the three people, including a police officer, that he was convicted of killing during a 2004 multi-state murder spree — and there being considerable evidence that he was guilty of at least one other murder — he had been filing appeals to his death penalty sentence since 2009, all quite specious.

After yet another appeal failed in 2018, a South Carolina judicial circuit solicitor said he was “probably the most dangerous and violent person I’ve ever prosecuted,” that “he places no value on human life,” and noted that while in prison, he “nearly murdered a guard on death row.”

Yet, now that he’s dead, one news outlet — and I’m going to give you a paragraph to guess which journalistic institution is responsible for this one — is wringing its hands because, as they said, Mahdi “may have suffered for an extended period of time before dying because shooters largely missed his heart, an autopsy commissioned by the state shows.”

A source also said at least 50 of the 80 protesters arrested were Columbia University students.”

According to witnesses, the protesters climbed on desks and chanted “Free Palestine.” They renamed – at least for one brief whiny moment – the Butler Library “Basel Al-Araj Popular University” and demanded that Columbia University divest from Israel. In the course of storming building, they injured two campus police and two NYPD officers.

Air traffic controllers in the U.S. have experienced about 1,000 equipment failures a week due to ancient equipment, a former federal aviation official and several airline industry insiders told the New York Post.

The report comes less than a week after a 90-second equipment failure at Newark Liberty International Airport caused air traffic controllers’ communications to go dark, sparking hundreds of flight delays and disrupting travel for thousands for days.

The cause was a single unsheathed copper wire at the air traffic control center in Philadelphia.

“This is a copper wire system, and frankly the FAA is experiencing almost 1,000 outages a week,” one airline industry official told the Post, referring to the Federal Aviation Administration.

“Some outages are worse than others — but the bad thing about them is you can’t predict them.”

Nike, the self-proclaimed champion of sports apparel and athletes, has been exposed for funding a horrific study on “trans adolescents” — a term that’s as absurd as it is dangerous.

The New York Times Magazine dropped this bombshell in an April 20 piece about transgender athletes in women’s college sports, and the silence from Nike since then is deafening.

The NYT article, while focused on broader issues like Blaire Fleming — a male playing on the San Jose State women’s volleyball team — buried a disturbing detail about Nike’s involvement in a study on kids. Fleming’s case is a disgrace in itself, and it’s worth noting that a Biden-appointed judge allowed this travesty, ignoring the unfairness to female athletes.

But the real outrage lies in a paragraph buried deep in the NYT story.

Trans researcher Joanna Harper revealed that he’s leading a study of “trans adolescents,” tracking their fitness before and after hormone therapy over five years. When asked about funding, Harper casually admitted that the study is being funded by Nike.

He blamed Trump’s policies on gender-affirming care for delays in “youth treatment,” but the money? That came straight from Nike.

Nike is facing backlash after an advertisement was displayed Sunday along the route of the London Marathon, one of the world’s most prominent long-distance races.

The giant billboard for the American athletic footwear and apparel company, held aloft with a crane, read “Never Again. Until Next Year” in black letters with a red backdrop.

“Never again” is a slogan widely associated with the Holocaust, representing a global pledge to prevent similar atrocities from happening. The ad sparked further outrage because “until next year” evoked vows that Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists made to repeat their attack on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The ad also appeared three days after Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, known as Yom HaShoah. It was part of a broader Nike campaign aimed at encouraging marathon runners, Ynet News reported Monday.

Top US virologist Ralph Baric engineered the Covid-19 virus SARS-CoV-2 in his lab at the University of North Carolina as part of his work in connection with the 2018 DEFUSE funding proposal. That’s the story that’s been going round the internet for some months now (and not just in alternative media) and it all looks very damning for Baric and those connected with his research.

Details of the DEFUSE project were first leaked by Major Joseph Murphy, an employee of US military research agency DARPA, in the summer of 2021 and further details of earlier drafts have come to light this month thanks to public record requests from U.S. Right to Know (USRTK).

In DEFUSE, Baric proposed to create a virus that was, to most intents and purposes, SARS-CoV-2. The proposal included inserting a furin cleavage site into a coronavirus spike protein, an order for the restrictive enzyme BsmBI, the search for a binding domain that would infect ACE2 human receptors and a requirement for a viral genome around 25% different to SARS.

Illinois authorities were reportedly investigating how three bags carrying $300,000 worth of cash fell out of a Brinks Home Security armored truck on April 22 in the village of Oak Park.

An employee alerted authorities shortly after 5 p.m. that the truck’s back door opened and the bags of cash fell out, CBS News reported, citing the Oak Park Police Department (OPPD). The driver alleged that 50 to 100 men and women then streamed in to pocket the cash and flee.

Nicole Phillips-Edward, a local who lives near the area where the incident happened, said she did not know about it until police showed up and asked for surveillance footage.

“He said they ran right past my house,” Phillips-Edward said. “That they had ran down the street and they were trying to see if it had recorded. ‘All Races Struggle’: Chicago Public Schools Hit With Investigation Over Alleged Racial Discrimination

The Department of Education (ED) opened an investigation into Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Tuesday over allegations the district is violating civil rights by hosting programs that discriminate based on race.

The investigation stems from a complaint filed by educational grassroots organization Defending Education (DE) about a “Black Students Success Plan” hosted by CPS which focuses “on remedial measures only for black students, despite acknowledging that Chicago students of all races struggle academically,” according to ED’s press release.

“Chicago Public Schools have a record of academic failure, leaving students from all backgrounds and races struggling and ill-prepared to meet the challenges and enjoy the rewards of contemporary American life,” Craig Trainor, acting assistant secretary for Civil Rights at ED said in a statement. “Rather than address its record honestly, CPS seeks to allocate additional resources to favored students on the basis of race. The Trump-McMahon Department of Education will not allow federal funds, provided for the benefit of all students, to be used in this pernicious and unlawful manner.”

I’m retired now. Whenever it strikes me that’s when I’m in the mood.

I think about this every Monday morning when I’m not in rush hour traffic, on conference calls, doing presentations, staff meetings, or other work related bullshit that kills productivity.

I work when the mood hits me for as long as I’m motivated. Sometimes it’s early, often it’s not. That goes for most things I do these days.
