On today’s edition of the “Big Play Slay” podcast with host Darius Slay Jr., Barkley and his teammate got on the topic of drug tests and the craziest moments they’ve encountered from Roger Goodell’s goon drug testing unit.

The number of people who have lost their lives while trying to get that perfect shot has spiked sharply in recent years. For a time, Wikipedia kept a running total, estimating 379 people have died in selfie-related accidents between 2008 and 2021, with hundreds more sustaining serious injuries.
Since then, other sources suggest the toll had risen to as many as 480 fatalities by the end of 2024. By way of comparison, far more people die from taking selfies than from shark attacks, which on average account for 5-6 deaths per year globally.

CBS says it will turn over an unedited transcript of its October interview with Kamala Harris to the Federal Communications Commission, part of President Donald Trump’s ongoing fight with the network over how it handled a story about his opponent.
Trump sued CBS for $10 million over the “60 Minutes” interview, claiming it was deceptively edited to make Harris look good. Published reports said that CBS’ parent company, Paramount, has been talking to Trump’s lawyers about a settlement.
The network said Friday that it was compelled by Brendan Carr, Trump’s appointee as FCC chairman, to turn over the transcripts and camera feeds of the interview for a parallel investigation by the commission. “60 Minutes” has resisted releasing transcripts for this and all of its interviews, to avoid second-guessing of its editing process.
The case, particularly a potential settlement, is being closely watched by advocates for press freedom and by journalists within CBS, whose lawyers called Trump’s lawsuit “completely without merit” and promised to vigorously fight it after it was filed.
The Harris interview initially drew attention because CBS News showed Harris giving completely different responses to a question posed by correspondent Bill Whitaker in clips that were aired on “Face the Nation” on Oct. 6 and the next night on “60 Minutes.” The network said each clip came from a lengthy response by Harris to Whitaker’s question, but they were edited to fit time constraints on both broadcasts.
I call BS. It wasn’t for time constraints other than she babbled on without saying anything. How can you talk that much and not get anything useful said?
Why are Democrat politicians much more prone than Republicans to policies that undermine the strength and integrity of the Republic, damage the safety and prosperity of American citizens, destroy essential infrastructure, and bring crime and suffering to the people they are supposed to serve?

Across at least the last 70 years, the ideals and principles of Democrats have been burned away through three self-reinforcing forms of corruption. The first corruption is ancient and universal. It is corruption of greed and power-seeking. Greed and power-seeking energize all political corruption, but they have especially infected Democrats because their hold on God-given moral conviction and the rule of law has weakened more than Republicans’. The second corruption is the modern, ideological fraud of creeds of disloyalty that blame America first and justify elected officials undermining and trading away the safety and well-being of the citizens who elected them. This is the corruption of the big lie.
The Democrat fabrication that there was an armed insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on 01/06/21 is the most grievous political lie in U.S. history. End-stage corruption is postmodern, anti-rational subjectivism. It is indoctrination into cults of resentment and fear, with vague, propagandistic labels like climate change, LGBTQ, diversity, eco-justice. Decades of “blame America first” ideology and cults of fear and resentment created a vast playground for financial exploitation of public funds. Every single dollar spent on a non-problem such as DIE, climate change, or LGBTQ is a dollar of corruption.

When White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stepped up the podium in the press room for her first official briefing this past Tuesday, she surely expected to be bombarded with questions about things like the flurry of Executive Orders coming out of the Oval Office and tariffs possibly being levied on China. She likely also expected some inane or out-of-left-field questioning due to the fact that she had welcomed the corporate media to remain part of the White House press corps; she was much more gracious than her predecessor in that respect.
Right on cue, April Ryan, CNN contributor and White House correspondent for TheGrio, wanted to know the Trump White House’s plans for Black History Month, which has traditionally been celebrated in February after it was first recognized by President Gerald Ford—Republican—back in 1976. Ryan was obviously concerned about the administration’s efforts to scrub all traces of discriminatory DEI practices from the federal government.
“As we’re dealing with anti-DEI and anti-woke efforts, we understand this administration … is thinking about celebrating Black History Month. Have you got any word on that, anything that you can offer to us?” Ryan asked.
Leavitt was prepared:
“As far as I know, this White House certainly still intends to celebrate — and we will continue to celebrate American history and the contributions that all Americans, regardless of race, religion or creed, have made to our great country,” Leavitt said. “And America is back.”
America is indeed back, and President Trump did indeed issue a Black History Month proclamation with a not-so-subtle sign that all black American patriots—not just the ones favored by the left—should be and would be honored.

As The Daily Signal previously reported, under President Barack Obama’s administration, the FAA scrapped a skills-based test and a certification program, and replaced it with a biographical questionnaire to attract more diverse applicants to become air traffic controllers. The FAA previously drew most candidates from the military and a group of 36 colleges that offer air traffic control programs.
“The Obama administration implemented a biographical questionnaire at the FAA to shift the hiring focus away from objective aptitude. During my first term, my administration raised standards to achieve the highest standards of safety and excellence,” the Trump memorandum says. “But the Biden administration egregiously rejected merit-based hiring, requiring all executive departments and agencies to implement dangerous ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ tactics, and specifically recruiting individuals with ‘severe intellectual’ disabilities in the FAA.”
The memorandum continues: “On my second day in office, I ordered an immediate return to merit-based recruitment, hiring, and promotion, elevating safety and ability as the paramount standard. [Wednesday’s] devastating accident tragically underscores the need to elevate safety and competence as the priority of the FAA.”
Critics have said the policy that originated under Obama and was revived by former President Joe Biden gives more points to applicants who have not been employed for the past three years than to an applicant who has been a pilot or a veteran with an air traffic control-related military background. During his first term, Trump discarded the policy in 2018, but Biden reinstated it.
“When you are flying on an airplane with your loved ones—which everyone of us in this room has—do you pray that your plane lands safely and gets you to your destination?” Leavitt asked reporters rhetorically on Friday. “Or do you pray that the pilot has a certain skin color? I think we all know the answer to that question. As President Trump said yesterday, it’s common sense.”
The spokeswoman said the Trump administration still believes it is safe to fly in the United States. Still, she said, the memorandum is intended to “deliver accountability.”
“In 2023, based on internal statistics at [the Federal Aviation Administration], there were 503 lapses of in-air traffic controller decisions, which was up to 65% over the previous year,” Kobach said. “And The New York Times reported also in 2023 that there were 300 near collisions in the preceding 12 months, which was double what it had been a decade earlier. So, these decisions about whom you hire have consequences.”
The attorney general then praised President Donald Trump’s immediate action against DEI initiatives.
“I think President Trump got it right when he immediately ended the DEI hiring in the FAA and in the air traffic controller world. But we want the best people. Whether it’s my pilot, my air traffic controller, or my surgeon, I don’t care what skin color they have,” Kobach said. “All I want is the most competent, skilled person because their decision could end my life in a second. I think most Americans would agree with that.”
In 2024 alone, FAA data reported that the Reagan Washington National Airport experienced at least eight near-midair collisions, according to The New York Times. The FAA has consistently said that due to a lack of air traffic controllers on the Eastern Seaboard, it has had to limit the number of flights allowed through the region.
The plane involved in the collision carried 60 passengers and four crew members. Three soldiers were on the helicopter, and it was reported that no one survived the incident. Newly confirmed U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said that both aircraft were following their designated flight paths during the incident.
I hate to fly as it is. Now I trust it even less than before. Not to mention the DEI Air Traffic Controllers who can’t keep the planes from running into each other.
A small plane crashed near Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday — just days after a horrific midair collision in Washington, DC claimed the lives of 67 people, according to reports
The plane reportedly hit several buildings and cars before going down near the Roosevelt Mall near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard just after 6 p.m., WPVI reported. Multiple casualties have been reported.
Video footage captured heavy smoke in the area with debris sprawled in the parking lot of the mall as local police and fire responded to the scene, according to footage captured by Fox29.
This week, China shocked the West with its announcement of DeepSeek, an artificial intelligence network capable of competing with OpenAI, Meta, and Google.

The buzz around “Captain America: Brave New World” had been toxic … until recently.
The sequel finds Anthony Mackie taking over for Chris Evans as the star-spangled Avenger. The film endured high-profile “reshoots” as well as leaked reports of devastating test screenings.
Both gave the impression this “Brave New World” would be a “Marvels”-level dud.
In recent weeks, though, the buzz has died down.
The film’s recent trailer didn’t suffer blowback from Comic Con Nation. The Red Hulk subplot has comic readers intrigued, especially since screen legend Harrison Ford will be bringing him to life.
In fact. some media outlets report the film could earn north of $90 million in its opening weekend. That’s not “Avengers”-sized money but enough to suggest the franchise won’t crash and burn.
Mackie’s new viral gaffe just made everything worse. How much worse? We’ll find out on Feb. 14 when “Brave New World” hits theaters nationwide.
Mackie, a credible star in his own right, had large shoes to fill as is. Evans’ Captain America became a beloved MCU figure, capturing the character’s stoic leadership.
Some fans don’t trust the character swap, thinking it’s Hollywood’s latest woke switcheroo. The shift has precedent in the Marvel Comics’ canon, though, and Evan’s Cap bowed out gracefully in “Avengers: Endgame.”

Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reportedly has prohibited the development of nuclear weapons, in a move that some are perceiving as an attempt to initiate talks with the Trump administration about easing sanctions.
The head of Iran’s “Armed Forces Judiciary” made the announcement on Jan. 21, according to Iran International. That was just one day after Trump’s inauguration, but the possible olive branch does not necessarily mean nuclear activity will stop.

The point is I always want to read. I’ve read since I was a young child. I was the only one of my siblings who did. I can escape into my own world this way and people don’t bother you when you are reading.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has declared that his friendship with the late Democrat financier Jeffrey Epstein was a “huge mistake.”
During a new interview with the Wal Street Journal, Gates admitted that he “was foolish to spend any time” with the child sex trafficker and convicted pedophile.
Gates responded to questions about his secretive relationship with Epstein ahead of his new book release.
However, he only echoed remarks he had made in years past.

Women can’t change men, and men can’t change women. Full stop. The only time that works is in romance novels and movies and they’re fiction for a reason. People only truly change for themselves. If they love you enough, they can alter some of their behaviors to be more in line with what you want (or don’t want) but you cannot force them to do anything. Attempting to do so will breed resentment and thoughts of “well she doesn’t love me for myself, so I need to find a woman who does.” Be worthy of change, but don’t try to force it because it won’t end well for either party.

All too often, women use this as an excuse to act like borderline psychopaths and blame their significant others’ reactions on them. You can’t expect a man to stick around if you are a hot mess and constantly question their worthiness to be your partner based on how they respond to your behavior. If your “worst” could get you committed to a mental institution, that has nothing to do with your boyfriend and everything to do with you. Don’t use vapid quotes from the internet as an excuse to act like a nutball.
If I got offered that much trim, I know I’d look at girls a whole lot differently.
The biggest scientific con of the century is finally being exposed. But will any politicians or government officials ever be held responsible for the carnage they unleashed on Americans?
In early 2020, when the Covid pandemic was starting to ravage America, federal bureaucrats and politicians rushed to suppress any suggestion that the pandemic originated from a Chinese government lab bankrolled by US government agencies. Key Biden administration officials effectively exonerated the Chinese government even though the Chinese completely stonewalled any outside investigation into the origin of the Covid virus, as the Wall Street Journal recently revealed in a front-page scoop.
The FBI’s top expert concluded that the virus leaked from the lab but he was derailed by the Biden administration, blocked from presenting his evidence at a key White House meeting in August 2021. Three scientists at the National Center for Medical Intelligence, part of the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency, concluded that Covid leaked from a lab but they were muzzled. The Inspector General is conducting an investigation to determine why those experts were silenced. The Department of Energy also concluded that Covid originated in a lab. In September 2023, a senior CIA analyst told a Congressional committee that six key CIA analysts had been bribed by the agency to abandon their conclusion that Covid originated in a lab leak.
The Chinese government first admitted that a pandemic had broken out in the city of Wuhan in early 2020. Though the Chinese military-affiliated Wuhan Institute of Virology had been experimenting with bats for years, the Chinese government insisted the new virus came from a nearby marketplace. But the lead scientists involved with bat research had all been struck down by Covid-19 symptoms shortly before the Chinese government denied any responsibility. There was a deluge of circumstantial evidence quickly linking the new virus to the lab.
The outbreak of Covid-19 spurred one of the most brazen cover-ups in modern US history. The National Institute for Health had been financing gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. That type of research seeks to genetically alter organisms to enable the spread of viruses into new species. Such research is extremely dangerous; as MIT professor Kevin Esvelt asked in 2021, “Why is anyone trying to teach the world how to make viruses that could kill millions of people?” The risks were compounded because the Wuhan Institute had a very poor safety rating. Two years earlier, the State Department confidentially “warned other federal agencies about safety issues at Wuhan labs studying bat Covid,” but the public disclosure of that alert was delayed until 2022.
In January 2020, top federal scientists recognized that the pandemic could obliterate their reputations. Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the National Institutes for Health, wrote in an email that “a swift convening of experts in a confidence-inspiring framework is needed or the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate, doing great potential harm to science and international harmony.” The “conspiracy” was the facts of the matter.
Anthony Fauci, the chief of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), speedily enlisted a handful of trusted scientists to gin up a paper supposedly “proving” that the virus could not have originated in the lab. A top NIAID scientist accepted the task of debunking the lab-leak story because, as he emailed a colleague, “Tony doesn’t want his fingerprints on origin stories.” The Lancet, one of the most respected medical journals in the world, enlisted in the cover-up with an op-ed by 27 scientists who proclaimed: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that Covid-19 does not have a natural origin.” Maybe the same scientists also sent an addendum to NIH: Keep giving us grant money or your reputation will “swim with the fishes.”
Further “proof” was provided by a torrent of accusations of racism against anyone who publicly suggested that the virus originated in a Chinese lab. The State Department’s Global Engagement Center added a federal fist to the debate, pressuring Twitter to suppress hundreds of thousands of accounts (including thousands of average Americans) in early 2020 for the crime of suggesting that Covid originated in a lab. Bureaucrats secretly decided that wildly exaggerated forecasts of pandemic mortality made the First Amendment null and void.
In other words, people are tired of the crap. Even the proponents of the gender benders are losing their enthusiasm to fight. You can only keep a lie going just so long. Normal people are tired of men who were loser athletes beating the crap out of women in their sports.
This time around feels very different. The Women’s March — renamed, without irony, the “People’s March — only attracted around 10,000 last Saturday. On Monday, Donald Trump, after announcing in his second Inaugural address that the U.S. government would only recognize two genders going forward, signed an executive order mere hours after arriving back at the White House. Titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism And Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government” is an incredibly comprehensive document that rejects the idea of gender as distinct from sex outright, lays out the correct terminology in great detail, and lists the various ways gender ideology will be eliminated. The first paragraph alone is simply excellent:
Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers. This is wrong. Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being. The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system. The backlash has been predictable, but it feels … tired, somehow. Defeated. Perhaps this is because transgender issues hurt the Democrats badly in the 2024 election and likely contributed to Trump’s victory. Perhaps it is because the tech billionaires — Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg — are moving on and no longer enforcing the top-down narrative that was always astro-turfed rather than changed from the grassroots up to begin with. The LGBT movement still owns the entertainment industry and much of academia, true. But Trump’s executive order felt like an endorsement of the prevailing view, and even Democrats seem unsure of what to do about their suddenly inconvenient allies.

For example, he instructed the federal government to investigate private sector DEI initiatives involving the potentially illegal use of race-conscious preferences.
Many of the companies now scrambling to avoid running afoul of anti-discrimination laws—and an administration willing to enforce them—hired prominent law firms to conduct race and diversity “audits,” a practice that ramped up in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. One of the so-called diversity experts in high demand was corporate lawyer Eric Holder, the controversial former attorney general under Barack Obama.
Starbucks hired Holder, who charges as much as $2,300 an hour for his time, to conduct a “civil rights audit” in 2018. He recommended a series of policy changes to promote “equity” at the company, which implemented many of Holder’s suggestions only to be slapped with a shareholder lawsuit alleging the new policies violated non-discrimination laws. So it comes as no surprise that Trump’s executive orders have caused “fear and confusion” among corporate leaders, according to the New York Times.
Holder, who is also rumored to be panicking as a result of Trump’s action, recently circulated a memo to his corporate clients attempting to assuage their concerns. The memo, which was exclusively and semi-legally obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, is reprinted below for your immediate enjoyment:

For much of his life, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. carried around something peculiar. While most people keep cash, family photos, and credit cards in their wallets, Holder revealed to a reporter in 1996 that he keeps with him an old clipping of a quote from Harlem preacher Reverend Samuel D. Proctor. Holder put the clipping in his wallet in 1971, when he was studying history at Columbia University, and kept it in wallet after wallet over the ensuing decades.
What were Proctor’s words that Holder found so compelling?
“Blackness is another issue entirely apart from class in America. No matter how affluent, educated and mobile [a black person] becomes, his race defines him more particularly than anything else. Black people have a common cause that requires attending to, and this cause does not allow for the rigid class separation that is the luxury of American whites. There is a sense in which every black man is as far from liberation as the weakest one if his weakness is attributable to racial injustice.”
When asked to explain the passage, Holder replied, “It really says that … I am not the tall U.S. attorney, I am not the thin United States attorney. I am the black United States attorney. And he was saying that no matter how successful you are, there’s a common cause that bonds the black United States attorney with the black criminal or the black doctor with the black homeless person.”
Has anyone ever asked Holder what exactly is the “common cause” that binds the black attorney general and the black criminal? More important, what should the black attorney general do about this common cause? Should the black criminal feel empathy for the black attorney general, or more likely, do the favors only flow in one direction?
Holder’s explanation of Proctor’s quote offers some key insights into our attorney general’s worldview. First, being “more particular” than anything else, skin color limits and defines Americans — in other words, race comes first for Holder.

Alex Soros, the 39-year-old son of the 94-year-old hedge fund billionaire, told the Financial Times his “only regret” since taking over Open Society Foundations several years ago is that he didn’t slash the nonprofit’s workforce sooner.
“My father didn’t want to create an employment agency, he wanted to create a network of networks and he was very upset with the amount of bureaucracy at the foundation,” the younger Soros said in an interview published Wednesday. “My only regret is that we didn’t do that faster, because I feel like he would have wanted that.”
It’s a surprising stance for the leader of an organization that historically promotes massive government programs, and has aggressively backed American funding for “pro-democracy” initiatives in Europe, Latin America, and elsewhere. Open Society was an early backer of the Green New Deal, the multitrillion-dollar climate change proposal. Open Society spent millions of dollars lobbying for President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which authorized nearly $900 billion in federal spending.
Along with the rest of those he pardoned. You don’t need to be pardoned unless you are guilty or there is a miscarriage of justice. Fauci is as guilty as the day is long.
It may initially seem over-the-top hyperbole to compare Dr. Anthony Fauci to Josef Mengele, MD, the “Angel of Death” in Auschwitz. The facts prove that Fauci is at least in his league, if not worse. Fauci harmed or killed more people. He decimated public trust in federal medical institutions. Fauci acted solely to benefit his ego and his wallet. Mengele was working for what he believed was the greater good, admittedly of the Aryan race at the expense of all untermenschen (slave races). This made him an extreme racist but not venal.
Dr. was italicized above to emphasize that Fauci has been treating papers not people for his whole four-decade career. Nonetheless, he had the temerity to dictate to the real world, in-the-trenches clinical physicians, what they should do and what they cannot do for their patients.
By sneaking in a pardon during his last minutes as president, Joe Biden admitted to the world that Fauci is indictable, if not legally proven guilty, of numerous crimes. As he cannot be criminally tried, following is a partial list of crimes this author believes Fauci committed for which he will never be formally punished.
Public tyranny
Fauci’s tyranny was manifest by censorship, lockdowns, and mandatory injections which contravened the First Amendment to the Constitution denying Americans free speech, religious freedom, and right to assemble, as well as the Fourth Amendment “right to be secure in their persons.”
Forcing the public to accept injections of an experimental drug also violated the Third Pledge of the 1948 World Medical Association Declaration of Geneva, “respecting the autonomy … of my patient.”
Medical tyranny
Fauci’s medical tyranny was not limited to the American public. He also dictated to clinical physicians what they had to do — inject their patients with inadequately tested mRNA gene treatments and triage the sickest according to their social standing — and what they could not do, e.g., prescribe Ivermectin or adopt the Great Barrington Declaration approach.
Fauci is guilty of medical tyranny two ways. He ordered improper treatment protocols, and he forced his medical decisions on patients who did not choose him as their physician.
Anti-scientific medicine
As a true megalomaniac, Fauci declared, “I represent science,” and “those who oppose me are going against science.” His medical dictates contradicted scientific facts. He mandated face masks when studies showed they didn’t work to protect the wearer or to prevent spread of contagion. He locked down (quarantined) the healthy population with no epidemiologic evidence that such an action did any good: there was extensive proof of its harm. Fauci required not only universal mRNA “vaccination” but boosters as well, despite a vast body of data showing protection was fleeting and the jab was causing extensive harm even death.
Corruption
Anthony Fauci was the highest paid federal official — $480,654 in 2022 — even before he implemented the great COVID scam and swindle. It was a scam like the Emperor’s Clothes, asserting an existential threat that wasn’t there. It was a swindle by paying Big Pharma billions of taxpayer dollars through a no-competitive-bid contract for the mRNA shots he de facto mandated for everyone. It is known that pharmaceutical companies paid NIH and Fauci more than $150 million in royalties. How much went to Fauci is unknown, but his net wealth increased by more than $5 million during COVID, even as millions of Americans lost their jobs and incomes because of Fauci’s lockdowns.
Killing Credibility
Fauci damaged the credibility of federal agencies such as NIH, CDC, and FDA. (Former Attorney General Merrick Garland’s lawfare was probably a greater contributor to loss of trust.) Fauci would say something, and experience or reports that evaded his censorship showed the public precisely the opposite. In essence, he kept telling people not to believe their lying ears, eyes, and brains. “Just listen to me, do what I say, and everything will be fine.” Unfortunately for Fauci’s and Washington’s credibility, everything was not fine, not for We The People.
Biden’s justification for pardoning Fauci was newspeak, the official language in George Orwell’s book 1984. In newspeak, the government pronouncement was the antithesis of reality: ignorance is strength, war is peace, and freedom is slavery. Biden wrote, “The issuance of these pardons [Fauci, General Milley, et al.] should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense.” Translation: They are guilty and before someone goes to prove it, I am pardoning them.
Furthermore, Biden exonerated himself using a common Democrat tactic: attacking opponents by falsely accusing them of something Democrats deny doing but something they did in fact do. Democrats accused Trump of colluding with Russia when he didn’t, but Hillary Clinton did. Over four years, Biden and his progressive allies repeatedly used the courts as vehicles for illegal and unfounded political prosecutions of Trump by Fani Willis, Jack Smith, and Alvin Bragg. So naturally, Biden explains the need for pardons because they (those pardoned) “do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions.” Clearly, Biden expects Trump to do to those preemptively pardoned what Biden’s cronies did to him.
Josef Mengele was a despicable, evil human being. Anthony Fauci may have been worse. Neither was (or will be) held accountable by any legal system. Both disgraced the title Doctor and are found unequivocally guilty in the court of public opinion as well as history books.
In 2006 the State of California passed the Global Warming Solutions Act mandating an unattainable and massive reduction of greenhouse gasses within the state by 2020. This bill, and mindless near-religious allegiance to the “green” movement, set in motion the recent catastrophic events in Los Angeles and previously throughout much of California, a state that for the past twenty-five years has been increasingly controlled by a Marxist-inspired Democrat Party.
It is not a coincidence that the current environmental or “green” movement is the driving philosophical force animating the Democrat Party not only in California but on national basis as this movement has its roots in Marxism.

The current “green” movement is in reality a major facet of Marxist philosophy.
Among those who champion Marx’s environmentalism is Professor John Bellamy Foster of the University of Oregon. In 1997 he published The Crisis of the Earth, Marx’s Theory of Ecological Sustainability as a Nature-Imposed Necessity for Human Production.
Foster wrote, “Marx’s analysis of the crisis of the earth in the mid-nineteenth century led him to a concept of sustainability that was central to his vision of a communist society. Because this concept of sustainability was rooted in both a critique of capitalism and a vision of a future society, it has a richness and complexity all its own. A close examination of Marx’s concept of sustainability therefore offers important insight into the possibilities for the creation of a more just and sustainable world order.”
Per Raju J. Das of York University, Toronto, “Sustainability (or a healthy environment)… has to be fought for as part of a larger fight against the logistics of capitalism, such as endless accumulation, and against the system as a whole. Therefore, ecological sustainability is fundamentally a class issue.”
During the 1980s the global Communist Movement, due to setbacks in Russia and elsewhere, began to exploit and take over the fledging Marxist environmental movements in Europe and the United States. They saw the potential of the movement as a weapon to foment “peaceful” revolutions in democratic western nations.
The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 was not the end of communism but a metamorphosis of the means of revolution as environmentalism became the socialists/communists’ primary weapon in undermining capitalism and Western societies.
This tactic was quickly recognized by those who had suffered under the oppression of communism for decades. In his book Blue Planet in Green Shackles, Vaclav Klaus, the first president of the Czech Republic after the end of nearly four decades of Soviet dictatorship, warned the nations of Europe and the United States, “As someone who lived under communism for most of my life, I feel obligated to say that the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy, and prosperity at the beginning of the 21st century, is not communism or its various softer versions. It was replaced by ambitious environmentalism.”
One of the great deceptions used by the Soviet Union was the incessant propagandizing of a fictitious hypothesis — that humans are responsible for any change in the climate and the only means of saving the earth is by adopting Marxian socialism. A scientifically-proven false premise but a tactic fully embraced and exploited by the current environmentalist movement.
This propaganda campaign has successfully convinced over 54% of the American citizenry to believe in human-driven climate change and the unquestioned need for drastic action to combat the impact of human activity on the environment.
Among the hallmarks of Marxism/Communism is universal disregard for human life as mankind is viewed as a mere cog in a wheel and therefore whatever so-called rights he or she may be granted is solely at the whim of the state. An omnipotent entity that supposedly looks out for the best interest of the people. Yet, as history has amply chronicled, the advocates of communism have had no problem eliminating millions of lives in order to achieve a Marxist utopia.
Which neatly dovetails with the primary tenet of the green movement. Human activity causes climate change; therefore, human overpopulation is the cause of virtually all environmental and economic catastrophe. Consequently, any means of reducing the population is therefore acceptable, whether it is a negligently uncontrolled wildfire in Los Angeles, a green-agenda- induced drought or famine, an untested vaccine forcefully administered to untold millions around the globe, or the cataclysmic collapse of societies by accelerating the elimination of fossil fuels.

Nothing was made clearer than the disastrous interview with LAFD deputy assistant, Kristine Larson, who had the nerve to suggest that if she, as a woman firefighter, was unable to carry a man out of a burning house, then the man was at fault. “He got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.”
Unbelievable! Ms. Larson is the head of the D.E.I. division and earns a salary of $300,000 a year. Yes, she is a lesbian as is the chief of the LAFD, Kristin Crowley, who was the first woman and LGBTQ+ to head the LAFD. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that (s).)

When the debate first arose about the NYFD allowing more women into the department, I immediately nixed that idea unless the candidates resembled Game of Thrones’s Brienne of Tarth portrayed by 6’3” Gwendoline Christie and could lift as much weight as a man.
Noted feminist Gloria Steinem made one of the stupidest remarks ever when asked how a woman could carry a heavy man out of a burning building. Steinem suggested that women can employ different techniques to perform rescues effectively. For example, instead of carrying a person over their shoulder, which may require significant upper body strength, a woman firefighter might use a drag method. Really? Dragging someone down the stairs is an answer? Hmmm, is concussion and brain damage sustained during the drag a better option than having a strong man do the job, Gloria?
I grew up in Spanish Harlem when it was a dangerous place to live and it was such a relief to have a tall, strong, policeman patrolling my block. The sight of the blue helmeted police officers on motorcycles or horses made me feel secure in spite of my dysfunctional home life. Sometime in the 1960s, the powers that be lowered the job’s height requirement allowing munchkins and women to join the NYPD and we know how that’s turning out.
YouTube videos of female cops being unable to wrestle with strong criminals is certainly not encouraging, albeit somewhat amusing.
What must be the biggest denouement of the D.E.I. fiasco was the sight of those three female Secret Service agents assigned to Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania where he was shot by a would-be assassin.
The poorly trained, ineffectual, presidential bodyguards were laughable with one unable to even holster her weapon. The Biden White House must have deliberately picked at least some from the bottom of the Secret Service barrel to guard the hated Trump.
The deadly Los Angeles wildfires have cost over $250 billion and it is not unreasonable to question whether the heavy cost was due to a firefighting agency run under the auspices of incompetent, unqualified D.E.I. employees.
Who on Earth started this successful anti-male campaign? Much as I’ve always been skeptical of women’s liberal organizations, I do believe there’s a more sinister hand pulling their strings and they’re just too dumb to recognize the manipulation.

Williams expressed her disappointment in the abandonment of Meta’s Supplier Diversity Program, an initiative she spent countless hours developing. She writes, “From October 2014 to October 2016, I spent nights, weekends and even part of my maternity leave, creating the supplier diversity program. And now it’s defunct.” The decision to dismantle the Supplier Diversity Program comes as a surprise, especially considering Meta’s previous pledges to support diversity and inclusion. As Williams notes, “In June 2020, Facebook pledged a $1.1 billion ‘investment in Black and diverse suppliers and communities in the U.S.’”

We regret to inform you that yet another female cop DEI hire who accidentally shot someone has made the news. While this isn’t a new story, it’s getting fresh attention after an appeals court handed down a decision this former police officer won’t be happy about.
The DEI officer, a female who had no business wearing a badge, shot a man in the back during a traffic stop. Without a bodycam or dash cam in her cruiser, she did what any good little lady would do—she lied to cover up her mistake. After all, who’s the public more likely to believe? The female cop or the lowly peasant?
DEI cop Kasha Domingue shot Mr. Dilley in the back as he ran away during that routine traffic stop. Prosecutors revealed she never even attempted to render aid, leaving Dilley to wait nearly eight minutes until another officer finally arrived. Despite the lenient sentence Domingue received, Dilley isn’t fixated on it. He’s more focused on preventing this from happening to anyone else. “I’m cool with that because, I mean, again, I’m going for the bigger picture here,” Dilley said.
This same type of story is playing out again, this time in Florida. A black man was pulled over by cops, and he told them he was carrying a holstered gun. But while the female officer was retrieving the gun, she somehow managed to shoot him.
Internal Affairs began investigating Cardwell after she conducted a traffic stop on a sports utility vehicle that ran a red light Dec. 13 on North Main Street, police say.
Cardwell and two other officers were at the scene, according to police.
Investigators say one of the officers saw the vehicle’s steering column was damaged, leading him to suspect it had been stolen. The officer told driver Jason Arrington to get out of the vehicle after Arrington disclosed that he had a firearm.
“What we’re going to do is, just for my safety and your safety, I’m going to have you step out,” one officer told Arrington, according to the officer’s bodycam video. “We’re just gonna remove the pistol from you, and then we are going to run your license and make sure everything’s good.”
Cardwell tried to remove the gun from a holster tucked inside Arrington’s waistband, but had difficulty, police say.
As she tugged, she unintentionally placed multiple fingers inside the gun’s trigger guard, causing it to fire, police say.
After the gun fired, someone yelled a curse. Arrington was seen beginning to slump against his SUV. He was taken to a hospital.

Duquesne Family Office Chairman Stanley Druckenmiller stated Monday that “animal spirits” have returned to the market, fueled by “giddy” CEOs anticipating Trump’s return to the White House. Speaking to CNBC, the billionaire investor argued that the U.S. economy is shifting from “the most anti-business administration” in history to the most business-friendly administration.
STANLEY DRUCKENMILLER: The economy is very interesting. We’re at a very low unemployment rate, essentially 4%, with 3% GDP growth. I’ve been doing this for 49 years, and we’re probably moving from the most anti-business administration to the opposite. We do a lot of talking to CEOs and companies on the ground, and I’d say CEOs are somewhere between relieved and giddy. We’re believers in animal spirits. Paul Ryan was on your show last week talking about a 32% increase in business confidence over the last 12 months, which is probably a record in terms of change.
So the economy looks very strong, at least for the next six months, which is about as far out as one can see with any degree of confidence.
In terms of the markets, I would say it’s complicated. Despite what I just said about all the wonderful things about the economy, we have an earnings yield to bond yield ratio that’s probably the most unattractive level in 30 years.
So you’ll have this push of a strong economy versus rising bond yields in response to that strong economy, and that makes it hard to have a strong opinion one way or the other on the market.
I will say this: in my business, every change creates change in security prices, and having this kind of radical shift from one administration to another, in addition to what’s going on in the private sector with innovation, then you’ve got deregulation from the government, disruption. I think there’s going to be plenty of chance, plenty for your viewers to do. I wouldn’t worry about the market, I would focus on individual stocks.

We’re always had men’s and women’s divisions in sports. Boxing, wrestling, and all martial arts have weight classes within those divisions. All this is for good reasons.
The Army was forced to rewrite its field manuals to turn “two-man jobs” into “three-person jobs.” This can lead to disaster for any military force that faces recruiting shortfalls and relies, in every instance, on quality rather than quantity.

Trump has also excoriated Judge Juan Merchan, who was involved in Trump’s New York criminal trial.
For example, Trump has called him “Corrupt, Deeply Conflicted, Democrat Appointed Acting Judge Juan Merchan,” and claimed that the judge was aiming to “RIG the Manhattan Sham ‘Trial.’”

The Georgia Court of Appeals declared Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis disqualified from a Trump-related election interference case.
“There is no way such corrupt people can lead a case, and then it gets taken over by somebody else,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “It was a corrupt case, so how could it be taken over by someone else?”
This happened around 1984 when you’d get kicked out of a place and likely arrested for being in a girl’s restroom.
I went out with Tracy for a brief time in my mid-20s. She was the girl that introduced me to the term sport fucking. I thought that was only something guys did, but she didn’t have any problems with it. For her, it was going out, picking a guy and giving him the goods, no strings attached.
She didn’t have any problems with one-night stands if she wanted one and was down for just about anything. Even though she loved head, her technique wasn’t that great, but who’s going to kick a gift horse in the mouth?

How It Started
I met her at Fantasy Fest in Key West. She came as my then roommate Al’s guest for the weekend. They weren’t dating, rather just there for fun and we all stayed in the same house.
There was a girl sunbathing topless on the beach and Al woke up at 1 am later that night to her pleasuring herself while describing the plentiful size of the (then med school) girl’s boobs. Al told me they weren’t an item, she was just available and liked to give it up. He had no problems with me getting a piece of the action when we got back home as she wasn’t marriage material. It was satirically funny that her first marriage was to a guy whose last name was Tracy, making her Tracy Tracy.
The Bathroom
I decided to take her to Bennigan’s for dinner. It was dinner and sex and was pretty well agreed on up front by both parties (sport fucking for her). The restaurant was empty as it was a weekday except for us and a party of girls going out after work for dinner and booze. They were loud and I’m guessing about 10 of them at one table drinking margaritas.
As things go, I had to hit the men’s room. When I excused myself, Tracy said let’s go to the girl’s room. At the risk of getting kicked out for untoward behavior, I agreed. I’d been in a girl’s room, but when it was closed off for cleaning. I was young and stupid and it seemed worth the risk.
To my relief, there was no one in there so we walked through the powder room, went into the same stall and both relieved ourselves.
I was a few drinks down so was pretty happy with myself for the bold move, all the while hoping that we’d be soon walking out nonetheless for wear and also not kicked out as we hadn’t eaten yet.
Just about that time, all 10 of the girls from the other table came in. Girls go to the bathroom together. Even Tracy kind of got worried so I stood on the toilet seat while her legs and girls’ shoes were visible below the stall door.
The girls took up every stall and all started going at once. 10 girls peeing together sounded like Niagra Falls. Tracy and I were trying not to laugh at the situation and were just going to wait it out until the crowd left. Then we’d celebrate what we were getting away with. She was a giggler though and I was sure we would be made. I could see my picture in the paper, busted and my burgeoning career derailed for unbecoming behavior.
Instead of just heading back to the table, the girls assembled in the powder room to fix their makeup. Girls going to the bathroom together can take forever and never shut up. They made a lot of noise yapping about a lot of things they would have wished I didn’t hear about.
Finally, it seemed like the coast was clear and we agreed to walk out and try to make it back to our table instead of the back of a police car.
Thinking they were all gone and back at their table, we decided to make our break.
I decided that if I was going to be arrested, I was going to do it in style, so I walked out of the stall as if I owned the joint. In passing through the powder room, there were still a couple of stragglers and I got the look of a nice Sunday surprise. I made eye contact with one of them and her mouth dropped open.
As it turned out, we had to walk by their table to get to ours and at least 7 were sitting down, but knew what happened in there. Their table faced the women’s restroom and they saw me come out after they were done. I walked right past them and grinned and even caught a couple of laughs from their table. Their margaritas had taken their effect, fortunately.
Our dinner came out and we ate and left, albeit faster than we normally would have. It was somewhere between not wanting to see a cop car and wanting to get back to her apartment for some sport fucking.
At the end of the day, I don’t think anyone really gave a shit. The other girls had a story to tell, it got Tracy all excited, which worked for my libido and I got stuck in a girl’s bathroom for 15 minutes with 10 other women.
We didn’t last long being a couple as I was in a time of life when girls regularly came in and out of it. Neither of us cared. We didn’t have any feelings for each other (besides some youthful lust) and I even went back for seconds on several booty calls.

President Donald Trump ‘s administration moved Tuesday to end affirmative action in federal contracting and directed that all federal diversity, equity and inclusion staff be put on paid leave and eventually be laid off.
The moves follow an executive order Trump signed on his first day ordering a sweeping dismantling of the federal government’s diversity and inclusion programs that could touch on everything from anti-bias training to funding for minority farmers and homeowners. Trump has called the programs “discrimination” and insisted on restoring strictly “merit-based” hiring.
Although I have my doubts about election meddling, this is a good start.
The “Bidenbucks” executive order directing federal agencies to boost voter participation has gone the way of the Biden administration.
President Donald Trump eliminated Executive Order 14019, which President Joe Biden signed in March 2021, calling for federal agencies to partner with private “voter-advocacy groups” and to develop “strategic plans.”
Congressional scrutiny and watchdog groups, such as the Foundation for Government Accountability, which sued for records on the order, were “enough to slow-roll implementation of the order to ensure that people, and not partisan bureaucrats” decided the 2024 election, said Stewart Whitson, senior director of federal affairs for the foundation.
“President Trump should be commended for getting rid of the ‘Bidenbucks’ scandal,” Whitson told The Daily Signal. “This shows the president is committed to stopping weaponized government.”
Whitson later added, “Now, it’s about accountability.”

Race activist Al Sharpton announced a boycott against companies that drop enforcing diversity, equity, and inclusion policies after newly inaugurated President Donald Trump issued an executive order against DEI.
Sharpton posted the threat on social media with a statement comparing himself to Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr.
‘Two companies will then be subjected this spring to a boycott by Black Americans.’
“Why do we have DEl? We have DEl because you denied us diversity, you denied us equity, you denied us inclusion. DEl was a remedy to the racial institutionalized bigotry practice in academia and in these corporations. Now, if you want to put us back in the back of the bus, we gonna do the Dr. King-Rosa Parks on you,” Sharpton said at the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D.C.

Antifa militants targeted an ICE detention center in Portland, Oregon, on Monday night, just hours after President Donald Trump was sworn into office. The incident was in retaliation to the Trump administration’s mass deportation operations and crackdown on illegal immigration. No arrests were made and the far-left extremist group vowed to carry out more acts of violence against federal immigration officials and facilities, according to social media posts.
Video footage posted to X, formerly Twitter, shows a group of roughly 15 Antifa militants dressed in black bloc riot gear igniting fires and squaring off with federal law enforcement outside the ICE detention center located at 4310 S Macadam Road in Portland. The clip was filmed by an anarchist and uploaded to X under the username @comradecamera at 11:08 pm.
According to the video, Antifa militants encircled officers as they attempted to extinguish one of the fires, with a few of them utilizing megaphones to issue threats and harassment. “I’m so glad you signed up for this,” one Antifa member could be heard yelling, mocking authorities.

McKinley was president at the turn of the 20th century. Though little remembered, he was one of the most consequential presidents ever. He was also the third president to be assassinated. He has a VIP admirer here in the early 21st century. That’s Donald Trump.
Trump has a single four-year term in office to accomplish epic change. But so did McKinley. Well, actually, his presidency was a term and nine months. He was killed in September 1901.
McKinley’s election in 1896 reinvigorated the flagging Republican majority. That majority grew out of Lincoln’s 1860 election and the subsequent civil war. Trump’s mission isn’t to reinvigorate an existing majority. No, no… His mission is to break the gridlock that has bedeviled politics throughout the first decades of this century. He means to solidify a Republican majority grounded on America First principles.
Breaking the gridlock began last November. Working-class and middle-income voters backed Trump. He’s embarking on a huge national course correction. His success or failure over the next four years will decide the nation’s fate. If Trump fails, the nation lapses back into the mire of the last quarter of a century — or even worse.
Twenty-five years of unremarkable presidents (including sly Barack Obama) and gridlock culminated in Joe Biden, a dementia patient who was a tool of cynical elites (raise your hand, Barack). Historically, Biden’s administration bottom-dwells along with Jimmy Carter’s and James Buchanan’s presidencies. Just cleaning up the mess left behind by Puppet Joe is challenging enough.
McKinley’s term was remarkable in that he ushered the U.S. onto the world stage. The U.S. began flexing its muscles globally. McKinley annexed Hawaii. That has benefitted American vacationers ever since — oh, and, yes, it proved to have strategic importance. Hawaii was critical to U.S. success in the war with Japan. McKinley’s presidency hinged on his campaign theme during the 1896 election. He promised voters a “full dinner pail.” He delivered. He erected tariffs that protected domestic markets. He signed into law the gold standard, to the distress of William Jennings Bryan, who was a “free silver” champ. Gold proved a boon to finance and the economy.
Trump has his own version of a full dinner pail. Yes, tariffs are part of it. Her doesn’t intend to build unbreachable walls to trade and foreign investment. What he aims for is fair trade, along with — wait for it — common sense protections. For the better part of this century working- and middle-class Americans have seen wages and living standards deteriorate.
In the nation’s history, no majority coalition has endured without the backing of the Great Middle. From farmers and tradesmen to industrial workers and middle managers to, today, information-age workers and blue-collar folk, a lasting GOP majority happens only with America’s broad middle as the base.
As if there weren’t enough outrages coming out of California to keep most keen observers livid, consider this: A fire prevention project at a state park currently in the midst of the Palisades blaze was stopped due to environmental concerns about a shrub.
According to reports from 2019 and 2020, not only was the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power precluded from undertaking a bulldozing project in Topanga State Park due to danger toward the Braunton’s milk vetch, but the city also had to pay nearly $2 million in fines for even starting the project.
In an August 2019 article, the Los Angeles Times reported that the LADWP had intended to bulldoze an area in the park and replace flammable wooden poles with steel ones.

Firstly, why is MLK controversial as a hero? King did a great deal for Civil Rights and inspired millions, undeniably, but there is evidence he also did a number of morally reprehensible things in his personal life, including having affairs with as many as 45 women. And then there’s the fact that part of his most famous speech was plagiarized from another black Republican, Archibald Carey. In 2019 it was reported that, “Secret FBI tapes that accuse Martin Luther King Jr of having extramarital affairs with ’40 to 45 women’ and even claim he ‘looked on and laughed’ as a pastor friend raped a parishioner exist.” Whether all those accusations are completely true or not — the FBI has sometimes been accurate in investigations — King was undeniably a philanderer and plagiarizer. He was not the best representative of black American heroism. So who is? Well, I don’t know if there’s one person in particular. But there are countless noble and essential black heroes in American history who deserve far more recognition than they now get. It is important to celebrate Americans of all ethnic backgrounds, but in light of tomorrow’s holiday, I will focus on black Americans today.
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It has been corrupted by the radical left, which tries and push CRT while playing up the accusations of America as a racist country. But even apart from that Democrat framing, I’m going to make the controversial argument that Martin Luther King, Jr. is not the ideal representative of civil rights heroism in American history.
It is long past time that Americans on both sides of the political aisle faced the truth of the racism in America’s past and honored the black American patriots of our history. In terms of its founding principles and ideals, America, of course, was not founded to be a racist country. The opposite is true. As Frederick Douglass once observed, slavery could’ve been abolished without changing a word of the Constitution. Black Americans could vote in most states when the Constitution was first ratified. But unfortunately, as with any great endeavor, America did not always live up to its own ideals, and thousands of people suffered for it. So today, let us take the opportunity to learn about some of the largely unsung black heroes of American history, whose courage and virtue made this nation what it is. A sixth defendant was separately arraigned in juvenile court because they are underage.
Brainard is also charged with witness intimidation. Carroll was charged with assault and battery after he reportedly admitted to slamming the victim’s head in the car door.
Prosecutors say Brainard met the man on Tinder, told him she was 18, and invited him to the Catholic school in Worcester on October 1 so they could ‘try and hook up.’
The alleged victim, a 22-year-old active-duty military service member, said he was in town for his grandmother’s funeral and went on Tinder because he ‘just wanted to be around people that were happy.’
Brainard greeted him when he arrived at the school, before she led him into a basement lounge, per court documents.

The FDA announced today it was banning the use of red 3 dye in foods in America, telling thousands of manufacturers to strip it from their products.
Food and drink makers have until January 2027 to reformulate their recipes or be forced out of the market.
The FDA agency said it was taking the action as a ‘matter of law’ because some studies have found that the dye caused cancer in lab rats.
‘The FDA is taking action that will remove the authorization for the use of… Red No. 3 in food and ingested drugs,’ said Jim Jones, the FDA’s deputy commissioner for human foods.
The dye has been used for decades to give candy, soda, and other foods and vibrant, cherry-red hue. It was banned from cosmetics by the FDA about three decades ago.
There is no indication so far that food manufacturers will challenge the new rule, and they will have sufficient time to adjust their products to meet the new standards.
There is some concern that manufacturers may opt to use red 40, which, along with red 3, has been associated with various health concerns.
Two teen girls in Louisiana have been charged with a felony for trying to “frame a male high school teacher for sending inappropriate messages to a student.”
Details about the case have been released by Craig Webre, the sheriff for Lafourche Parish.
On Jan. 6, 2025, each girl was charged with one count of false swearing for the purpose of violating public health or safety, a felony, cyberstalking, and online impersonation, the law enforcement report said.
They were placed on electronic monitoring and released to the custody of their parents.
Webre said, “Our juvenile detectives are diligent and take claims of inappropriate behavior very seriously. They are, however, equally serious about false claims. Someone’s life can be instantly ruined by a false allegation, and I am proud that our investigators were able to get to the bottom of this.
“Technology has made it very easy for people to try to manipulate the truth, but technology also makes it easy for investigators to ultimately find the truth,” he said.
Local school Supt. Jarod Martin said, “We are shocked and appalled to learn of the actions of two of our students. The allegations against one of our teachers were false and malicious, and we appreciate the efficiency of investigators in uncovering the source of these messages.
“Such attacks on a teacher’s credibility and reputation are concerning and can inhibit their ability to effectively educate our children. We are committed to investigating all allegations of misconduct in order to provide a safe environment conducive to learning and working for all of our students and staff.”
The investigation into the case was opened only a week before Christmas when there was a report from “a concerned party” that a teacher was “sending inappropriate messages to a 16-year-old female student.”
The sheriff explained, “Detectives learned she and a 15-year-old friend were allegedly engaged in conversations involving inappropriate messages from the teacher via an online instant messaging platform.”
The investigation included interviews with those involved, search warrants being issued for the contents of phones and various messaging accounts, and more.
“The investigation revealed that the two teenage girls had fabricated messages, created fake accounts, and shared screenshots with friends in an effort to frame the teacher for sending inappropriate messages,” the sheriff’s office said.

No matter what tragedy plagues our existence, Keith Olbermann is the last person who needs to give his two cents.
The former correspondent for networks like CNN and ESPN did just that on Wednesday, posting to social media platform X on the California wildfires and how they’ve impacted conservatives in that state.
He didn’t just blast those on the other end of the political spectrum, he outright stated they were not “human.”
Olbermann was responding to host of “Last Week on X” Angela Belcamino who screenshotted a post by University of Missouri Professor Karen Piper who relished in actor James Woods losing his home.
Belcamino put out a call to “Be better,” seeing Piper’s despicable post as something that shouldn’t be the norm when people are having their lives destroyed.
Olbermann couldn’t resist chiming in.
Clearly loving that Woods lost his home, Olbermann proceeded to take a swipe at his acting career for Woods’ role in the 1992 film “Citizen Cohn” where Woods played Roy Cohn, chief counsel to former Wisconsin Republican Sen. Joseph McCarthy.
Olbermann is known for consistently giving his slimy political take on X but seizing the moment when so many people who politically disagree with him see their lives in ruin is a new low.

Kamala Harris’ refusal to allow J.D. Vance an opportunity to check out the vice president’s residence further exposes the mainstream media’s inability “to hold Democrats to the same standard they hold Republicans,” according to former Ambassador Ric Grenell.
It was reported Tuesday that Harris has refused to extend an invitation to Vance for a sit-down or tour of the Naval Observatory, in which the Ohio senator and his family will live after Monday’s inauguration.
Grenell, who served as ambassador to Germany and acting director of national intelligence in the first Trump administration, took to social media to express his thoughts about the snub.
“Shameful DC coverup,” Grenell posted Tuesday morning on X. “Kamala has refused requests for JD and Usha Vance to see the VP residence and working spaces – while claiming that she’s focused on a peaceful transition.

Meta, Amazon ditch DEI programs as tech giants move away from ‘woke’ agenda
Meta and Amazon reportedly killed their DEI programs in recent days – moves that come as both Big Tech giants attempt to cozy up to President-elect Donald Trump.
On Friday, Meta – the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Threads – said it will no longer take the controversial Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies into consideration before hiring, training and picking suppliers, Axios reported.
According to a memo sent by Janelle Gale, vice president of human resources, she said the company is pivoting away from DEI because the “legal and policy landscape surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the United States is changing.”
A Meta spokesperson reached by The Post confirmed the memo, which was first obtained by Axios.
Meta’s about-face came just days after CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that his company would scrap censoring free speech on its popular social media platforms.
Both Zuckerberg and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have recently met with Trump as part of an ongoing thaw in once-frosty relations between the Republican and the tech industry.
Zuckerberg appears to be serious about this and has even removed the tampons from the men’s rooms.

President Trump has been unduly mocked by Democrats and corporate media journalists regarding his desire to purchase Greenland from Denmark. But he now has the Danes and Greenland’s full attention.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump for months has pushed for purchasing the world’s largest island and is not ruling out possible military action. He argues that Greenland becoming part of America is absolutely necessary for national security.
Trump is, of course, correct. The Arctic island is rich in natural resources and holds immense geopolitical value due to its proximity to the Arctic Circle and the presence of U.S. military assets, including Thule Air Base.
Moreover, China and Russia are circling Greenland seeking to take advantage of the islands enormous potential. Buying Greenland would enable the U.S. to seize control of the Arctic and deal a heavy blow to the ambitions of their two biggest global adversaries.
During a press conference Saturday, a journalist asked Greenland Prime Minister Mute Egede if he had spoken to President Trump regarding Greenland. Egede said “no” but that he was ready to.
“We are ready to do so (talk),” he said. “I think we are both ready to increase dialogue and reach out.”
“And therefore also talk about things that bring us together in the world we live in.”
Egade reiterated that he does not wish for Greenlanders to become Americans. However, the fact that he will speak with the soon-to-be 47th president shows the effectiveness of Trump’s bold ideas and dealmaking.
Meanwhile, Axios revealed Saturday that Denmark sent Team Trump a private message regarding the possible future of the island. While they still do not want to sell Greenland to America, they are open to discussing bolstering security on the world’s largest island or increasing the U.S. military.
They are also open to any other request from Trump outside of giving up territory.
No other president has been able to accomplish what Trump has done so far on Greenland, and he now stands in an incredibly advantageous position even before taking office. Even if Greenland does not become part of America, our national security will almost certainly be enhanced to the detriment of the Russians and Chinese.
But if Trump decides to go all or nothing on a Greenland purchase, it would be unwise to underestimate the man who wrote the world-famous “The Art of The Deal” all those years ago.
We are continuing to watch the developments related to Greenland, which have gotten especially interesting after President-elect Donald Trump tasked his pick for Ambassador to Denmark with persuading the Danes to sell us the resource-rich Arctic land.
Shortly after that announcement, Greenland suffered a major power outage due to a downed transmission line. The blackout plunged the region into darkness as temperatures dropped below -27 degrees Fahrenheit (-33°C).
This was soon followed by Greenland’s Prime Minister Mute Egede calling for independence from Denmark, marking a significant shift in the rhetoric surrounding the Arctic island’s future.
Trump’s son later went on an “unofficial” visit to Greenland. At that time, I speculated that persuading the people of Greenland to become an independent territory of the United States might be the best deal that could be placed on the table.
Intriguingly, Egede recently had a joint press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during which he said that he’s ready to speak with Trump as ‘the status quo is no longer an option‘.
My wife’s Danish relatives, to whom I’ve had to associate in the last 3 decades of marriage finally can’t hide their contempt for Trump and the USA any longer.
In dealing with them and many Europeans throughout my business career, it’s clear that trashing the US is their favorite sport (not football/soccer). They keep trying to re-make America by their rules, rather than accept the history of a country that has surpassed centuries of European culture.
A point of note is that while they are trashing America, they are wearing Levis or Carhartt, smoking Marlboro cigarettes, and regularly vacationing in America all while bitching that it isn’t Danish enough. They love shopping here because it is so much cheaper because of their 70% tax rate which pays for their “FREE” education and healthcare (that is just above malpractice)

My wife also has a brother who lives in Greenland and the natives there hate Denmark owning them, but subsist off of the money that Denmark pours into them yearly. They’d rather be Greenlandish and free but realize they get a heck of a lot more from the US than they would Denmark, given the economic difference.

Back to my wife’s relatives, the Danes hate Trump. He is as atypical of how the Danes think they think (Janteloven) as possible. They are as averous as any other group despite what they claim. She’s got nephews who brag about the price of everything they bought and the status of the item. With Trump, They can’t handle the thought of an alpha male actually being successful and achieving more than others because of hard work and outsmarting others (like my wife’s relatives). Mostly, he’s not a socialist like a lot of thinking in Denmark so they can’t grasp it so they use the “typical American” and hate him. They actually don’t know why other than their press has told them to.
I had to cut them off from social media for the childish trashing of him for the last 8 years. I haven’t missed anything though other than them being the compass for what is wrong by going against everything they think is right (Warren/Pocahantis, Biden, Kamala, Obama, Obamacare, and the list goes on). So Trump lives rent free in their heads now as they seethe every time he wins (and wins again).

A new survey found that a majority of Greenland respondents support joining the United States.
According to a poll by Patriot Polling released Sunday, 57.3 percent of respondents approve of Greenland becoming part of the U.S. Just 37.4 percent disapproved of the potential acquisition, and 5.3 percent are undecided about the move.
President-elect Trump has in recent days floated the idea of acquiring Greenland, a Danish territory. He said owning Greenland is an “absolute necessity.”
While the survey only polled 416 people in Greenland and is the first of its kind, it signals support for Trump’s larger international plans.
I think Trump just wants a bigger military footprint and access to rare earth minerals (and petroleum). He is a master of negotiations and everyone should be happy in the end, except my Wife’s family, but I don’t care what they think. Their bias doesn’t allow them to think rationally about Trump and America anyway. Not that I care what they think anymore.
After years of fire and smoke in rural Northern California—evacuations, death and destruction, broken communities, lost homes—watching Los Angeles burn feels surreal but inevitable. This could have been avoided, but we knew it was coming.
For years, we have sounded the alarm to anyone who would listen. San Francisco and Los Angeles ignored us.
Now Los Angeles—one of the great cities on earth, a unique American gem—is in ashes.
For anyone who wants to understand how we got here, this is what happened.
California has not built a new major water reservoir since 1979.
The state’s last major reservoir project was completed in 1979, when the population was some 23 million. It’s been 50 years, there are now 39 million residents, and progress on the storied California Water Project has stopped.
In 2014, Californians voted overwhelmingly for Prop 1, funding a $7.5 billion bond to construct new water reservoirs and dams, with a deadline of January 1, 2022.
It’s now 2025, and no reservoirs have been built. Proposed projects remain mired in the bureaucratic morass of California politics.
There is no reason for California to experience water shortage. The natural climate is cyclical: years of low rainfall punctuated by years of extreme rain. Eleven months ago, at the start of 2024, we were enjoying several extra feet of snowpack in the Sierras and the most rain we’d had in 25 years. The reservoirs were overflowing.
Year after year, massive, swollen rivers in Northern California send water out to the Pacific Ocean, while government agencies scold citizens for watering their lawns.
The state is spending millions to REMOVE existing water infrastructure.
If failure to build new water projects for a growing state population weren’t bad enough, Gavin Newsom and his feckless administration is spending millions of taxpayer dollars to destroy existing water infrastructure in fire-prone Northern California.
The Klamath Dam was removed in 2023.
Scott Dam is next: a century-old dam system upon which some 600,000 people rely in agricultural communities stretching from Potter Valley to Bodega Bay.
The government wants to remove this dam, impoverishing the farm communities and rural residents who rely on it, to “improve salmon habitat.”

Several lethal fires have hit this region in the past few years, including the Redwood Complex and Sonoma Complex fires in 2017, and the Mendocino Complex Fire in 2018. Removing their water is a cruel blow for a community still reeling from those disasters, leaving them defenseless when the next fire comes.

Farms were run dry and pumps shut off to preserve the three-inch “Delta Smelt”
California is the leading agricultural state in the nation. But for years, politicians slashed water allotments and shut off ag pumps to farmers in an effort to save a finger-length, minnow-like fish called the Delta Smelt.
When President Trump took office, he said California should consider updating its water infrastructure so farmers could grow crops and cities didn’t have to burn to the ground over a minnow.
This enraged Democrat activists. Their righteous indignation fueled many think pieces about the Delta Smelt.
For all that spilled ink, the restoration efforts didn’t work. Outside hatcheries, the Delta Smelt are all but gone.
So are scores of farmers, their land run dry by politicians in Sacramento.
This approach is typical of the consistent preference displayed by California politicians for the perceived prosperity of any animal, species, or ecosystem over the welfare and survival of its citizens.
After years of anti-human water and land policy, neglecting critical infrastructure, when the fires started last night in Los Angeles, there was no water in the fire hydrants.
Removing grazing, control burns, and management left California an unnatural tinder box.
According to U.C. Berkeley rangeland science professor Lynn Huntsinger, cattle remove some 12 billion pounds of dry biomass from California’s grasslands and woodlands every year.
“Cattle are the largest fire prevention tool we have in the state,” she told me, “But people are largely unaware of it.”

Environmentalists blame cows for climate change. Beef cattle are responsible for less than 2% of all U.S. carbon emissions. Wildfire is responsible for between 15% and 30% of U.S. emissions—and that number appears to be getting worse.
Prescribed fires and forest management have also gone out of fashion. For centuries, Native tribes practiced control burning to manage the natural fire risk inherent to California’s ecosystem.
There have been 15,000 acres, 1,000 structures destroyed. Nobody knows how many people are killed or missing. And how do we characterize this? Everybody’s talking about the Santa Ana winds, climate change—I mean everybody, the people in power.
But it was preventable. And once it started, this fire, it could have been assuaged. You could have had it lessened, that the severity didn’t have to be as catastrophic. So, I would characterize it as a DEI–Green New Deal hydrogen bomb. It’s something out of “Dante’s Inferno.”
And what I mean by that is, it’s a systems breakdown, a civilizational collapse. When you look at the people in charge, [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom flew in, to sort of do these performance-art stunts, but he has systematically ensured that water out of the Sacramento River and the watershed of Northern California would go out to the sea, rather than into the aqueduct, so Los Angeles didn’t have sufficient amounts of water.
He bragged not very long ago that he blew up four dams on the Klamath River. They provided 80,000 homes with clean hydroelectric power. They offered recreation, flood control, irrigation. He blew them up.
California’s fire management, whether we look at the Paradise Fire or the Aspen Fire near where I’m speaking, it destroyed 60 million trees. We have no timber industry in California. [Newsom’s] dismantled it.
We don’t clean the forest. We don’t let loggers come in and have a viable livelihood by harvesting trees. It’s sort of considered natural to let these things burn or to at least create the conditions in which they will inevitably be burned.
It’s almost as if we don’t like humans. We worry about grubs and worms and birds and the ecosystem.
The second breakdown was the mayor, Karen Bass, was in Africa. You tell me why the mayor of the third-largest city in the United States at fire season, when she had been warned and warned for days on end that the Santa Ana winds were up to 100 miles an hour in the evening, and there was a danger of fire, and she goes off to Africa for the inauguration of the president of Ghana.
With all due respect, Mayor, but who cares? You have an obligation to the 6 million people of greater Los Angeles. And then we have the fire chief. That can be good if it’s competent. But when you announce that 70% of your hiring will not be meritocratic, but will be based on diversity, equity, inclusion, then you’re not putting the interest of your constituents first.
There were not even enough, there wasn’t enough water pressure in Pacific Palisades. Pacific Palisades is not where I live. It’s one of the wealthiest, most exclusive neighborhoods in the United States. If they don’t have water, then no one’s going to get water, believe me.
There’s not enough insurance. There were famous actors that didn’t have insurance. Why? Because industry is overregulated, it’s fraught with people who make fraudulent claims, and the insurance industry knows that California is hostile to it, but more importantly that it will never clean up its forest or take preventive, time-tried, ancient protocols to lessen the dangers of fire.
And so put it all together, whether it’s a deliberate policy to not store water, not preserve water. Last year was one of the wettest years that we’ve had. We’ve had three out of the last four years have been very wet. We had a huge snowpack. We had rivers that were running in 19th-century fashion, but out to the sea to save the delta smelt.
So, it was a total systems collapse from the idea of not spending money on irrigation, storage, water, fire prevention, force management, a viable insurance industry, a DEI hierarchy. You put it all together and it’s something like a DEI-Green New Deal hydrogen bomb.

And to finish, what we’re seeing in California is a state with 40 million people. And yet the people who run it feel that it should return to a 19th-century pastoral condition. They are decivilizing the state, and deindustrializing the state, and defarming the state, but they’re not telling the 40 million people that their lifestyles will have to revert back to the 19th century when you had no protection from fire, you didn’t have enough water in California, you didn’t have enough power, you didn’t pump oil.
So, we are deliberately making these decisions not to develop energy, not to develop a timber industry, not to protect the insurance industry, not to protect houses and property.
And we’re doing it in almost a purely nihilistic fashion. And Karen Bass should resign. She came to the airport, back from Africa. She had nothing to say. She was confronted at the airport: “Why were you in Africa? Why did you cut the fire department?”
They cut the fire department by almost $18 million. They gave fire protective equipment to Ukraine’s first responders, and she had nothing to say. She had nothing to say because she couldn’t say anything.
I don’t want to be too pessimistic or bleak tonight, but this is one of the most alarming symptoms of a society gone mad, and if this continues, and if this were to spread to other states, we would become a Third World country if we’re not in parts already.

As relentless fires burn in Los Angeles, thousands of residents who fled their homes are just learning how poorly public officials prepared for such an event. Emergency response leaders following bad public policy have been too focused on sending firefighting equipment to Ukraine, keeping the homeless safe, protecting fish, and adopting green policies to focus on things like making sure there is enough water to feed fire hydrants and guaranteeing that the strongest, best-trained, most-skilled firefighters are leading operations.
Officials seem to believe that when fire forces you to flee your home, there is just one thing on your mind: the skin color and cultural experience of the firefighters who will bring you to safety. Will they be diverse enough to rescue you? Never mind if they are the best for the job, are they anything but straight white men?
That has been a major priority of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), which, in 2022, launched its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau (DEI), purportedly “focused on ensuring a safe, diverse and inclusive workplace for all.”
In January 2022, then-Mayor Eric Garcetti checked multiple DEI boxes by appointing Kristin Crowley as fire chief, the first female, LGBT chief in Los Angeles. That year, according to LAFD data, “of the more than 6,500 applicants to LAFD, 70% were people of color and nearly 8% … were female,” which was “double the … percentage of female firefighters within the Department” at the time.
The LAFD Girls Camp is one avenue for recruitment for female firefighters, hosting girls between 14 and 18 to explore career opportunities in the department.

In fact, many of them truly believe that they are engaged in a “life or death” struggle for the fate of the planet.

Several of America’s biggest brands backpedaled on their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies and programs in 2024 amid intense public scrutiny and fierce consumer backlash.
The Biden-Harris administration has led a massive push for increased DEI initiatives in the government, including President Joe Biden signing an executive order in June 2021 that established “a government-wide initiative to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility” in the federal workforce. Some major companies have begun scaling back on DEI practices this year amid growing backlash, including Walmart, Boeing, Lowe’s and Ford Motors.
“American corporations realized that DEI was a loser for them in terms of doing business,” Mike Gonzalez, the Angeles T.
