“We should be in view repealing something called Section 230 which gave platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs that they shouldn’t be judged for the content that is posted. But we now know that is an overly simple view that if the platforms whether it is Facebook or Twitter/X or Instagram or TikTok or whatever they are. If they don’t moderate and monitor the content, we lose total control,” Hillary Clinton said.

As Kerry put it, “The dislike of and anger over social media is just growing and growing and growing, and it’s part of our problem, particularly in democracies, in terms of building consensus around any issue,” Kerry lamented, apparently referring to abhorrence of freedom by members of his ilk.

The IRS was, ultimately, forced to admit that it used political partisanship to target Americans, and they entered into a settlement with the non-profit groups they targeted.

She kept the momentum going in a breakout debut year in the WNBA, setting the single-season record with 337 assists and the all-time rookie records of 769 points and 122 three pointers made.

Clark helped lead the Fever to their first playoffs appearance since 2016, where they lost 2-0 in the best-of-three first round to the Connecticut Sun.

“Thank you to the many people who have supported me as I’ve been able to live my childhood dream,” Clark said in an Instagram post on Wednesday. “I’m filled with gratitude as I reflect on this past year of my life.”

How about my whole childhood.

I was the youngest in every class due to my birthday. In reality, I should have started school a year later than I did, but I was able to keep up academically so no one did anything.

As a result, I was a year behind everyone in maturity. I was always small and learned a lot of social things after the others already knew. It made for a tough time. It was particularly awkward in the whole girl/boy life dance as the girls were a year older, but years older in maturity and size for many of them. Most of them stopped maturing at the end of high school as I discovered in conversations with them later. I was just beginning to catch up the end of high school. Kids are cruel though so it was tough.

I caught and passed almost all of them because it drove me to succeed after banging my head against the wall of life up until that time.

I got no help from my sibling who was 2 years older, but only one grade ahead due to the birthday timing. When She could have helped, she jumped on the side of the other kids to make my life a lot more difficult than it needed to be.

It made me tougher in the long run. I had to figure out how to be street smart without any directions. Like the song Night Moves, I was searching for answers without any clues.

So childhood, I spent a lot of it out of place.

Americans from Florida to North Carolina continue to deal with the devastating consequences of Hurricane Helene, now the deadliest hurricane to hit the US since Katrina. The stories emerging from the region are heart breaking. The economic damage to property and the infrastructure will take years to recover from. Large parts of the area will never return to what they were.

Many Americans may be unaware of the extent of the damage. Unlike Hurricane Katrina, which received non-stop coverage on cable news for weeks, with primetime anchors like Anderson Cooper visiting on location covering stories of human tragedy and government incompetence, Helene’s aftermath has received far less coverage. It is on social media platforms like X where folks will find horrifying stories of the stench of death still strong in difficult to reach areas, the lack of government assistance for those in need, and the courage of private efforts serving the area.

Some of this is explained by the time period we are living in. Escalation in the Middle East. A national election is on the horizon. A court decision releasing documents allows the salivating press to re-litigate the events of January 6th, 2020 yet again. What cannot be ignored, however, is the extent to which the open hostility the nation’s most powerful institutions have had to the sorts of people that are overwhelmingly impacted by this storm, predominantly white, working class, and politically conservative. 

This horrific natural disaster is a reminder of the extent to which the regime hates the people who live there.

This was true prior to Helene, where Washington policies have impoverished these areas with policies ranging from the national impact of inflation and financialization to more specific regional impacts stemming from regulatory policy with specific impacts on the region impacted. The immediate aftermath, however, demonstrates the extent to which state reaction to a disaster impedes voluntary efforts to quickly mobilize and assist those in need.

A combination of heavy-handed federal and state action has attempted to undercut recovery efforts, from grounding private helicopters seeking to rescue stranded victims, to the demands of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to stop citizens from flying drones near impacted areas seeking to locate those in need of help. Given the logistical strains that even the best organized response to a severe crisis would create, the voluntary organization of local human resources on the ground is essential to a meaningful and quick recovery. Here, the priority of government actors has been to elevate their control over the situation at the expense of these efforts.

The allocation of emergency resources itself is deserving of extended scrutiny as well. The victims of this tragedy, like all Americans, have their wealth extracted by Washington to fill the coffers of large federal agencies like FEMA. This same agency, whose nominal priority is to assist Americans in the case of emergency, is already pleading poverty. Of course, these same agencies oversaw the redirection of over a billion dollars in recent years to subsidize migration into the country. The priorities are clear, emergency funds take a back seat to a regime that cares more about new arrivals than the families who lived in this country for generations.

This predatory relationship between the regime and its citizens is systemic. The priorities of Washington will always stand in conflict with the people of Appalachia. DC sees no problem with ordering the Tennessee National Guard to the Middle East at a time when their fellow Tennesseans are facing their own crisis. This relationship is also bipartisan in nature. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, who has become very rich off the backs of the people who elevated him to political power, ignoring the victims of Helene on social media, while very focused on Israel and Iran.

The regime will always prioritize its own interests, including the interests of what it has identified as their special privileged classes, over the interests of its people. Changing this parasitic relationship requires more than a change of political party in the White House, but a determined effort by those who seek to represent the interests of these people to strike at the root of this relationship.

Unfortunately, while elections alone are not adequate to address the victimization of Appalachia, it is reasonable to consider what impact the specter of politics is having on their current neglect. The counties most impacted by the storm disproportionately vote in ways the current regime does not like.

Would America’s federal government deliberately undermine recovery efforts to try to achieve its own desired political ends? Would the corporate press deliberately fail to cover the inadequacy of these efforts, hoping to prevent a candidate it fears doesn’t win?

For those who understand the true nature of the state, the answer is an obvious one.

Our prayers are with the victims of Hurricane Helene, that they receive the help they need as recovery efforts continue, that they have the ability to build back their communities strong, and that they will one day be free of a regime that cares so little for them.

The Next Bud Light Of Sneakers?

Nike (NKE.N) shares fell about 8% in early trading on Wednesday after the sportswear giant withdrew its annual revenue target, leaving investors guessing on the timeline for a turnaround under incoming CEO Elliott Hill.

The company on Tuesday also called off its investor day set for Nov. 19, while CFO Matthew Friend said pulling the outlook would give Hill “much-needed flexibility to evaluate Nike’s strategies and business trends”.

“Just how quickly a turnaround can happen is up in the air … There’s not anything really that I could say at this point gives us a definite timeline or early hints to what is in store for the future,” said Jessica Ramirez, senior analyst at Jane Hali & Associates.

Last month, Nike named veteran executive Hill as CEO in place of John Donahoe as demand dropped and rivals such as On Holding and Hoka gained market share, especially in high performance and innovative running shoes categories.

The company’s forward price-to-earnings ratio for the next 12 months, a benchmark for valuing stocks, was 27.98, compared with 27.08 for Deckers (DECK.N) and 35.14 for Adidas (ADSGn.DE).

Hill is set to take over on Oct. 14 and investors were pinning their hopes on the analyst day for clarity on Nike’s strategy until it canceled the Nov. 19 event. Nike did not provide a fresh date.

“These next few months as we go into year end, (Nike is) going to leave investors with a lot more questions than answers and we didn’t get any answers,” said Jay Woods, chief global strategist at investment banking firm Freedom Capital Markets.

Nike said on Tuesday it had to offer higher promotions to help drive sales in the quarter and signaled a weaker holiday quarter even as it expects a “slight second half improvement” in revenue from the launch of new premium models.

Yeah, Great, But How Do You Know Which Plane Is The One That’s Unsafe?

The National Transportation Safety Board issued “urgent safety recommendations” for some Boeing 737 planes including the 737 MAX.

The agency said that some flight controls can become jammed.

An actuator that is attached to rudders on some 737 NG (Next Generation) and 737 Max planes could not work, CNN reported. Pilots on board a United Airlines flight in February said their rudder pedals were stuck in a neutral position.

No one was hurt and the pilot controlled the aircraft using the nosewheel steering system, USA Today reported.

The actuator was manufactured by Collins Aerospace, according to the NTSB.

The issue crops up in cold weather.

“When the incident actuator and an identical unit from another airplane were tested in a cold environment, the actuators’ function was significantly compromised. Investigators found evidence of moisture in both actuators, which failed testing. Collins Aerospace subsequently determined that a sealed bearing was incorrectly assembled during production of the actuators, leaving the unsealed side more susceptible to moisture that can freeze and limit rudder system movement,” the NTSB said, according to USA Today.

There were more than 350 defective parts sent to Boeing but how many were used is not clear, The New York Times reported.

Collins Aerospace responded with a statement to the newspaper which read, “We have and continue to work closely with the N.T.S.B. and Boeing on this investigation. We are supporting Boeing and operators to mitigate operational impacts.”

The company said the actuator is part of a system that “includes layers of redundancy.”

The NTSB said Boeing had a procedure in place if the rudder jammed.

The young men and women of this country want life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They are beginning to chart a new course that doesn’t include indoctrination programs from elite colleges and universities.

Early last year, The Independent Review published an intriguing article: Hyperpoliticization of Higher Ed Trends in Faculty Political Ideology, 1969–Present.

The authors, Phillip W. Magness (senior research faculty and director of research and education at the American Institute for Economic Research) and David Waugh (managing editor at the American Institute for Economic Research), assessed complex data obtained from surveys that evaluated the political views of higher education faculty [e.g., Carnegie Commission on Higher Education Faculty Survey (1969–1984), UCLA-Higher Education Research Institute Faculty Survey (1989–2016)]. The information confirms trends that Legal Insurrection has long noted: Since 2001, 2001 higher education faculty positions have taken a hard, and “professors on the political left are now approaching a supermajority.”

While their findings are interesting, a question they pose about the future consequences of this development is prescient.

A hyperpoliticized academy does not bode well for students, faculty, or anyone interested in serious learning. For many students and for an increasing share of the general public, this has turned the educational experience from one of intellectual pursuit into pure activist sophistry. The only remaining question, then, is how long the public will continue to pay for a university system that no longer aligns with its values or educational priorities.

The answer is: Not much longer.

Unfortunately for the leftists dominating American higher education today, graduating students still have to earn a living. So, Gen Z is beginning to vote with its feet and is opting for 2-year trade schools free of hyped-up moral outrage and outrageous expenses.

Community colleges offering vocational programs witnessed one of the highest numbers of student enrollment in fall 2023, as students opting for higher education showed a slight improvement overall from declines seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to data from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.

Those community colleges with a focus on vocational programs saw registrations climb 16 percent, an increase of 112,000 students, substantially higher than the rate seen before COVID, when it rose 3.7 percent. Associate degree programs jumped more than 2.2 percent, to 96,000 students.

The interest in vocational education began to see increases in sign-ups going back to three years ago, Jennifer Causey, senior research associate at the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, told Newsweek.

“Since Fall 2021, vocational programs have started to see upticks in enrollments, and specific program families such as Mechanic Repair Technologies grew 11.2 percent this fall alone,” she said.

Hurricane Helene: Biden, Harris, and the National Media are Missing in Action

Legal Insurrection reported Sunday on the havoc wreaked by Helene across the southeast Friday and Saturday, particularly the devastation that unfolded in western North Carolina and their neighbors in eastern Tennessee by what remained of the hurricane once she hit those areas.

Some mistakenly believe that once a weather event stops being a hurricane or tropical storm, the cities that are still in the path of what’s left are, for the most part, in the clear.

But that is most certainly not the case, as Helene had been downgraded to a tropical depression before she reached the mountains and foothills of North Carolina. By the time she moved on, rain totals for some areas reached as high as nearly 30″, leaving historic flooding in her wake.

The images and videos, of course, are staggering. Heartbreaking. This is an area where it’s not uncommon to hear about mudslides/landslides simply from having a few hours of rain from a random storm that rolled through, causing temporary road closures. Unlike the NC coast, it’s simply not built to endure that much rain and high winds.

As far as national news outlets go, they’re covering it but much of what I’ve seen has been frustrating, as they’re treating it like it was merely a bad storm and not something that quite literally has changed the topography of a large swath of the western part of this state.

As for Biden and Harris, the POTUS was indeed at the beach this past weekend and Harris indeed was participating in swanky fundraisers out west, the optics of which were horrible and which would have been slammed by the Usual Suspects had our president been a Republican. Their insensitivity absolutely should be called out. Their rules and all.

But beyond that, Biden has pretty much done what he needed to do in an official capacity to pave the way for federal assistance. And both he and Harris have issued statements about the situation:

During a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, Trump accused President Joe Biden of “sleeping” at his beach house in Delaware and dragged Vice President Kamala Harris for holding fundraising events in California over the weekend “when big parts of our country have been devastated by that massive hurricane.”

Harris has been briefed by Criswell, according to the White House, and Biden has approved disaster declarations for numerous states and major disaster declarations for certain counties that will help provide temporary housing assistance, as well as grants and low-interest loans to help people with home repairs. Biden was at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, over the weekend, where he received briefings about Helene’s devastation from Criswell and Homeland Security Adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall, according to the White House pool report. He urged the agencies to speed up the deployment of search and rescue teams into North Carolina, where people are stranded without cell service or electricity.

With Good Reason, More Americans Are Skipping College

Is college still worth it? According to Newsweek, millions of Americans are just saying “no.”

Why? Because, according to a new poll, many see universities as a place where political agendas replace useful skills, and they walk away with $300,000 in debt that cripples them for life.

In fact, college enrollment is down 2.5 million since COVID-19, while the share of 18- to 26-year-olds working in the trades has gone from 25% pre-pandemic to 31% today.

Meanwhile, a recent Gallup survey found only a third of Americans—of all ages—say they have confidence in universities: 32% said they have little or no faith. That’s a big drop from just a decade ago, when 57% had faith and just 10% did not.

Of those who lost faith, 41% said liberal indoctrination has taken over, while 37% said college doesn’t teach relevant skills. The rest cited the cost.

It’s a theme that people are figuring out that colleges are just indoctrination factories. While there are a few good ones (see the story posted below) and there are a few degrees needed for advanced education, the social bullshit they put students through is being exposed as not worth it.

It kind of makes sense when you read it, but I never put the pattern together until this. Thinking with emotion rather than fact. Short term knee jerk reaction without considering the long term ramifications.

She suggests, in about one minute, that the entire reaction to the virus was driven by a distinctly female worldview. Honestly, this is the spiciest and best take we’ve ever seen.

Instead of a measured, data-driven approach, we saw a wave of panic wash over the entire globe, pushing us into lockdowns, school closures, and economic chaos—all based on worst-case scenarios and the inability to see beyond the immediate threat. Sadly, this is the very essence of the female reaction: focusing on the here and now without pausing to consider the bigger ramifications. It’s like the entire world was thrown into the arms of a frantic, overly protective helicopter mother who was desperate to shield her children from danger and ended up causing more harm than good.

But, instead of assessing the situation with calm and reason, the response was sheer hysteria. We shut down entire economies, isolated people from their loved ones, and wreaked havoc on children’s social, mental, and physical development—all for what? A fear-driven, knee-jerk reaction that had “hysterical woman” written all over it.

You could argue that the “woman’s worldview” is rooted in a Karen mentality that suffocates and bullies people into submission. It’s that anxious helicopters need to control everyone and everything, no matter the cost or consequences. That’s exactly what we saw unfold with COVID. And the saddest part? The men who should have known better, who should have been stronger stewards of leadership, were steamrolled by this hyper-emotional, controlling mindset, allowing the entire world to spiral into chaos and despair.

Fortunately, no injuries or environmental damage have been reported for the ship. This is significant because the 33-year-old vessel is one of the single-hull versions of the Kaiser-class oilers.

158 Democrats Voted Against Deporting ‘Non-Citizens’ Who Commit Violence Against Women

One-hundred fifty-eight House Democrats voted Wednesday against a resolution put forward by South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace that would designate noncitizens convicted of sex offenses or domestic violence inadmissible to and deportable from the U.S.

Two-hundred fifteen Republicans voted in favor of the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, with no one in the party opposing it. Meanwhile, only 51 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, with 158 voting against it. Mace, who introduced the resolution, told the Daily Caller that “158 Left-wing members of Congress just voted against deporting rapists, pedophiles and murderers of women and kids.”

Four elite Ivy League institutions ranked at the bottom of 251 U.S. colleges and universities for their free speech climate as rated by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, with Harvard finishing last for the second straight year.

FIRE published its College Free Speech Rankings on Friday, with Harvard tying a record it set last year with a 0.00 score and an “abysmal” rating. But it was not alone. Columbia University also was given a 0.00 score and “abysmal” rating; and New York University, which finished 249th, was given an “abysmal” rating but had a 3.33 score. The University of Pennsylvania finished 248th, with a “very poor” rating and 12.53 score.

“With scores ranging from zero to 100, NYU plummeted nearly 30 points this year, and Columbia fared even worse, becoming the second school after Harvard to ever receive a zero,” Sean Stevens, FIRE’s chief research analyst, wrote in a news release.

“And Columbia, like Harvard, actually received a negative score that we ’rounded up’ to zero. The only reason Columbia was spared from receiving the title of this year’s Worst College for Free Speech is that Harvard’s actual score was even worse, a full 21 points lower.”

At one point, Davis jumped in for Harris and offered a rebuttal to one of Trump’s comments on abortion, a move beyond the scope of a moderator.

They allowed Harris more time to respond and followed her when she veered off topic, but gave Trump no such breaks. It was not a debate, but a campaign contribution. That’s not a big surprise from either moderator, as Muir hosts the most Trump-negative network news evening broadcast and Davis has a long track record of promoting Democrat talking points including stolen election claims from Hillary Clinton.

Williams-Sonoma, a kitchenware and home furnishings retailer with brands including Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, West Elm, Williams Sonoma Home, Rejuvenation, Mark and Graham, and GreenRow, proudly represents to the public and its shareholders and investors that race, sex, and national origin are motivating factors in its hiring, employment, and contracting practices.

As outlined in Williams-Sonoma’s 2024 Annual Report, their Equity Action Plan and Equity Action Committee led to “approximately 68.1% of our total workforce identified as female and approximately 41.1% identified as an ethnic minority group.” The company boasts higher management, comprising “56.6% of Vice Presidents and above identified as female.”

Williams-Sonoma’s Equity Action Committee also appears to reward executives for making race, color, sex, or national origin a motivating factor in hiring and other employee practices. The Equity Action Plan tracked and set goals for the diversity of the company, board members, and board nominees. It then designed the “Associate Equity Network Groups” that benefit some workers and disfavor others, specifically white, male, and religious Americans.

FAFO – Penzey’s Spice Company Called All Republicans Racist, Then Lost 40,000 Customers in Two Weeks

Republicans ‘raced out to buy a crapload of guns because maybe they were finally going to get their chance to shoot a Black person,’ Penzey’s Spices CEO wrote in a customer email.

Just two weeks after a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based spice company held a “Republicans are Racist” sale over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, it is dealing with a massive loss of business and openly begging for new customers.

Penzey’s Spices CEO Bill Penzey, who routinely uses his company’s email list to send anti-Republican screeds, sent a newsletter earlier this month in which he accused GOP voters of fantasizing about killing African Americans.

“Remember how Republicans, going against a mountain of evidence to the contrary, once again lied and said BLM [Black Lives Matter] wasn’t a peaceful movement but instead terrorists inciting violence throughout the country and then raced out to buy a crapload of guns because maybe they were finally going to get their chance to shoot a Black person?” he wrote. “What a bunch of racists.”

In a follow-up email Friday, Penzey acknowledged this allegation had cost his business a substantial number of newsletter subscribers.

The top five worst universities for free speech also all happen to be mostly Ivy League institutions, according to a major new student survey released today by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.

Harvard, Columbia, New York University, the University of Pennsylvania and Barnard College made up the bottom five schools, respectively.

Conversely, the top rated school was the University of Virginia. Last year’s highest, Michigan Technological University, came in second best for free speech. In third place was Florida State University, and fourth and fifth were Eastern Kentucky University and Georgia Tech.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression released its annual College Free Speech Rankings for 2024 on Thursday. The free speech climate of 257 of America’s universities was assessed by 58,807 students who responded to a College Pulse online survey from Jan. 25 through June 17.

Molson Coors Latest Company to Drop DEI

Ford Becomes The Latest Company To Stop DEI and Woke

Ford Motor Co. has joined the ranks of companies that have pulled back on diversity, equity and inclusion policies while facing pressure from conservative groups.

CEO Jim Farley sent a memo to all employees early Wednesday outlining the changes, including a decision to stop taking part in external culture surveys and an annual survey by the Human Rights Campaign that measures workplace inclusion for LGBTQ+ employees.

“We will continue to put our effort and resources into taking care of our customers, our team, and our communities versus publicly commenting on the many polarizing issues of the day,” the memo said. “There will of course be times when we will speak out on core issues if we believe our voice can make a positive difference.”

Farley wrote that Ford is mindful that employees and customers have a wide range of beliefs “and the external and legal environment related to political and social issues continues to evolve.” The company, he wrote, has been looking at its policies during the past year.

According to the 1818 Almanac which can be found on this site, (Jamaican Family Search) , he was the owner of Minard (128 slaves) which he must have acquired from its previous owner (John Bailie) in 1815 or later. The number of slaves on this estate approximates the number of slaves in one of the registers attributed to his ownership (124 slaves). In 2023, over 12,000 different lobbyists in the U.S. spent a a record $4.3 billion on lobbying activities, according to Open Secrets, a non-profit research group tracking money in U.S. politics. This was up from $4.1 billion in 2022—and the highest annual total so far.

Organizations either hire lobbying firms or employ in-house lobbyists to meet with government officials, seeking to influence government decision-making.

This chart shows the total expenditures on lobbying activities by the top 10 industries that invested the most in lobbying the U.S. Congress and federal agencies in 2023, using data from Open Secrets.

The fall of DEI accelerates

Fight! Fight! Fight! In the past two months it has become very clear that if Americans are willing to stand up to the left and its Marxist bigoted agenda, Americans will win.

Since late June, five different university systems have shut down their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion offices. Each is listed below, in chronological order:

And this list does not include the University of Florida, which in March shut down its own DEI office because the state legislature not only banned such offices, it cut the budgets of them.

Though it is true these states are all solidly conservative with legislatures largely controlled by Republicans, this fact on its face proves that voting can make a difference, with Florida the biggest proof. Unlike the other states, Florida had for decades been a swing state between the Democrats and Republicans. Voters however changed that in the past decade, so that today the state legisilature is solidly Republican. The result has been a definitive policy shift acting to eliminate these racist Marxist programs from state-financed universities.

There is no reason similar changes cannot be forced in other battleground states. Nor should we consider it impossible in the coastal states (California, Oregon, Washington, New York, Massachusetts, etc) where Democrats maintain full control. DEI concepts are inherently racist and divisive, and serve only to encourage anger, resentment, and hate across all ethnic groups. Ordinary voters recognize this routinely, when they make the effort to look.

Nor are things changing solely in the unversities because of the willingness of voters to force change. The boycott of Bud Light because of its endorsement of the queer agenda last year is having profound impact on corporate culture. In just the last few months a number of major companies have announced the elimination of their own DEI departments and programs, also listed below in chronological order:

10 Of The Political Lies We Are Being Told Right Now (What, Only 10?)

As Steely Dan might say, the things that pass for knowledge today, I can’t understand.  It’s all lies, falsehoods, and misdirection on tap, served fresh 24/7/365.

Lie #1: Joe Biden was a great president, a dedicated public servant who put country first and stepped aside so that Kamala Harris’s brilliance could save our democracy.

Well, that’s five lies all tied up in one bundle!  Joe Biden is easily the worst president in my lifetime, possibly ever.  He and his family got rich, not by serving anyone, but by grifting on his various political offices.  Slow Joe also didn’t step aside; he was kicked to the curb by his Democrat comrades after it became clear he was going to lose in November. And so now we have Kamala Harris, who was chosen as V.P. simply because she possesses ovaries and dark pigmentation.  And for the one millionth time, America is a republic — if we can keep it — not a democracy.

Lie #2: Man-made climate change will make the Earth unlivable for humans in (pick one) 5, 10, 39, or 5,000 years.

Ha, ha!  If you think our Creator would allow us, His/Her/Zey’s most ambitious, creative, and intelligent organism, to destroy our beautiful terrarium, then you’re either a fool or an atheist, possibly both.  Our most brilliant minds can’t predict tomorrow’s weather with precision, our weather records extend a mere blip into the nearly five billion years of the planet’s estimated existence, and the only reason the scam’s called “climate change” is because leftists gave up on “global warming” when the Earth inconsiderately stopped warming.

Lie #3: Democrats love black people.

Where to start with this one?  The president who ended slavery in America was a Republican.  It was the Democrat party who championed Jim Crow laws.  It’s Democrats who’ve historically come up with all kinds of handouts and special programs for blacks, not because they love them, but because they think African-Americans simply can’t cut it on a level playing field.  Folks, that’s racism of the highest order.

And Democrats just love killing unborn babies, a statistically telling percentage of whom are black.

Lie #4: Diversity is our strength.

Nope, sorry, uniformity is our strength.  A team that’s chosen based on merit alone, and who plays according to one set of values and with a single goal in mind, always wins.  But don’t take my word for it; ask any recent champions of the almost three-quarters African-American NBA.  If diversity is strength, then the NBA is arguably one of the weakest b-ball leagues on the planet.

We can add Richard Medhurst to Tulsi Gabbard, Scott Ritter, Amb. Craig Murray, Julian Assange, and many others are harassed, arrested, and imprisoned by police state authorities in the US, UK, EU, and Canada for practicing the disappearing profession of journalism. When Richard Medhurst can be arrested in a London airport for “expressing an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organization,” we know freedom is dead and journalism no longer exists. All that Western journalists are permitted to do today is to support the official lies in the official narratives that are used to construct the false reality in which we live.

/2 Our client began working for IBM in October 2016 as a Senior Managing Consultant supporting existing clients on long-term projects. He was a model employee and consistently received high scores on IBM’s primary employee performance metric, the “Net Promotor Score,” which is calculated directly from client feedback and overall satisfaction.

/3 While at IBM, our client received strong performance reviews and was publicly recognized on multiple occasions in his division’s monthly all-hands meetings for his outstanding performance, with management quoting his feedback from clients and applauding his work.

By all accounts, our client was a high-performing employee at IBM.

/4 In July 2023, without notice or warning, IBM placed our client on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), citing reasons completely outside of his job description, work history, and control. Even worse, the PIP was generalized, vague, and lacked any concrete measures or metrics for success.

/5 Despite this, our client made a good-faith effort to follow the terms of the PIP and keep his job at IBM. He requested resources from IBM to help him secure a prospective client, which went largely unanswered.

In October 2023, IBM terminated his employment.

Here’s an important segment of the social engineering component of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), passed under the Obama presidency:

The ACA provides a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and primary care through insurance reform, increased reimbursement for primary care providers, funding to educate these providers, and incentives to attract providers into primary care. The Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are especially well prepared to educate providers on the use of evidence-based preventive care and to assist the U.S. healthcare system in its transformation toward this model.

In other words, under the rubric of preventative medicine, millions of people who might not have gone to see a doctor prior to ACA are being encouraged to go.  To meet the cost of those millions of new patients, new institutions like urgent care centers are springing up.  Physicians’ Assistants (P.A.s) and Nurse Practitioners (N.P.s) are being used to treat these people as well as more serious cases.  The medical schools do not turn out enough M.D.s to treat the 30 million people (new “patients”) who are being channeled into the American health care system.  As my primary care doctor (an M.D.) told me, there is increasing pressure on him to have a practice of only very sick people.  He frankly told me that he does not want the stress of treating only the very sick all day, every day.

So, in the post-ACA morass, we have too many people going to see M.D.s who don’t need an M.D.  We have too many very sick people that have to wait a very long time to get an appointment with an M.D.  And…we have increasing numbers of P.A.s and N.P.s supervising the care of very sick people.  With millions of dollars pouring into the health care system from the federal government, it becomes a boon to hospital income to have less qualified personnel who need to be paid less than M.D.s.  It’s a morass depicting itself as “needed reform.”  From the Hippocratic Oath to do the least harm, the health care world has shifted to the “principle” see the most people and diminishing the quality of health care.  There is a trade-off between the numbers served, which increases, and the quality of care and professionalism, which decreases.

Minouche Shafik resigned Wednesday as Columbia University’s president, ending an embattled 13-month term during which her New York City campus was the scene of a series of chaotic and sometimes violent protests by students, faculty and other activists. 

Protests over the Israel-Hamas war began in October and continued through much of the winter at Columbia and many other schools. The protests intensified in April after Shafik testified before Congress. 

The protests divided the campus, with many Jewish students saying they were fearful to pass by demonstrations. Shafik faced a backlash after calling on city police to break up an encampment, and again when students and others took over an academic building. 

She has seen tenuous support from faculty and administrators, as well as calls from some alumni and donors to resign. She is the fifth Ivy League president to step down over the past year.

The first email was from Diageo North America, a leading alcoholic beverage company that is part of the “GARM Steer Team,” Pavlovski noted. In an email to Rumble, Diageo wrote that “there is no scenario where we approve a platform that has Steven Crowder, Alex Jones or the like. The content on your platform is non-compliant pretty much across every category we try to avoid.”

Similar sentiments were expressed by Inspire Brands, whose chains include Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, Jimmy Johns and a number of additional high-profile brands. “To be honest [redacted], I would be opposed to showing up on the current version of the platform — the right-wing culture of the site is too polarizing from a brand standpoint today,” a representative for Inspire Brands wrote in an email to Rumble.

Former Cornell University student Patrick Dai, who threatened to perpetrate heinous crimes against members of the school’s Jewish community after Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre across southern Israel, was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison on Monday, the US Department of Justice announced.

Last October, Dai raised the possibility of antisemitic violence at Cornell when he posted several statements calling for murdering Jews and raping Jewish women on a popular social media forum. In addition to threatening the lives of Cornell’s 3,500 Jewish students, who are 22 percent of the school’s student population, the posts threatened an attack on a campus kosher dining hall — named 104West  — affiliated with the Steven K. And Winifred A. Grinspoon Hillel Center.

“Gonna shoot up 104 west… Allahu akbar! from the river to the sea, palestine will be free! glory to hamas! liberation by any means necessary!” one of his posts said. Another read, “If I see a pig male jew i will stab you and slit your throat. if i see another pig female jew i will drag you away and rape you and throw you off a cliff. if i see another pig baby jew i will behead you in front of your parents [sic].”

The Justice Department said Dai also vowed to “bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all you pig Jews.”

Stealing Women’s Medals Through The Years

Both Imane Khelif (25) of Algeria and Lin Yu-Ting (28) of Taiwan competed in the 2021* Tokyo Olympic Games, but this year’s appearance was after the International Boxing Association (IBA) had barred them from competing against women on the grounds that tests had confirmed that both athletes are not female.

The IBA reports, based upon two tests in Istanbul 2022 and in New Delhi in 2023, that not only did both have very high testosterone levels, but they have XY chromosomes, making them genetically male and functionally more akin to men than women.  Given that neither athlete successfully appealed the decision (Khelif began the appeal process but withdrew it), the decision was legally binding. 

Therefore, it’s safe to assume, as famed biologist and atheist Richard Dawkins does, that “genetically male boxers such as Imane Khalif (XY undisputed) should not fight women in the Olympics.”  Dawkins says that his Facebook account was deleted for having made this entirely reasonable observation publicly.

The IOC disregarded the IBA’s reports, claiming that it never received them — a claim that appears to be false, given that reports show the IBA having sent the results in June of 2023. 

That’s the crux of the debate, and everything else is smoke.  If the boxers have XY chromosomes, they are males.  And if they are males, then they should not be competing against females.  Furthermore, if the IOC looked at the IBC’s results, they would have confirmed or denied that the two boxers are males with XY chromosomes.  If they didn’t look at the files, their decision has no basis in science at all, and it was a purely political decision.

The United Kingdom has been rocked by violence in recent days because of the lethal stabbings of three girls by a 17-year-old that sparked widespread immigration protests.

The police in the U.K. have become so concerned about online statements with which they disagree they’ve threatened to try to arrest and charge even people from other nations.

All of this garbage was poisoned by spell-breaking identity politics, left-wing lectures, and an obvious hatred and contempt for the fan base that made Star Wars a cultural phenomenon.

Star Wars is so broken, what was supposed to be an ongoing film franchise that would deliver two movies a year has now gone five years without a new release. The only news around Star Wars movies today is all the projects that get canceled.

Kennedy did the same with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Instead of delivering for the fans, she produced a box office catastrophe by teaming Indy up with a sexless girlboss.

Oh, and let’s not forget Willow, which she turned into a streaming gay-fest so hated by the fans Disney removed it from its streaming service.
