A lot of people say stupid shit online, or brag about stuff they shouldn’t to show off or get likes. Until now, the internet was forever. It may still be if you search hard enough, but Google is evil and presents the worst of behavior easily. Now, the idiots may be protected.
Google will no longer be keeping a backup of the entire Internet. Google Search’s “cached” links have long been an alternative way to load a website that was down or had changed, but now the company is killing them off. Google “Search Liaison” Danny Sullivan confirmed the feature removal in an X post, saying the feature “was meant for helping people access pages when way back, you often couldn’t depend on a page loading. These days, things have greatly improved. So, it was decided to retire it.”
The feature has been appearing and disappearing for some people since December, and currently, we don’t see any cache links in Google Search. For now, you can still build your own cache links even without the button, just by going to “https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:” plus a website URL, or by typing “cache:” plus a URL into Google Search. For now, the cached version of Ars Technica seems to still work. All of Google’s support pages about cached sites have been taken down.
Cached links used to live under the drop-down menu next to every search result on Google’s page. As the Google web crawler scoured the Internet for new and updated webpages, it would also save a copy of whatever it was seeing. That quickly led to Google having a backup of basically the entire Internet, using what was probably an uncountable number of petabytes of data. Google is in the era of cost savings now, so assuming Google can just start deleting cache data, it can probably free up a lot of resources.
Cached links were great if the website was down or quickly changed, but they also gave some insight over the years about how the “Google Bot” web crawler views the web. The pages aren’t necessarily rendered like how you would expect. In the past, pages were text-only, but slowly the Google Bot learned about media and other rich data like javascript (there are a ton of specialized Google Bots now). A lot of Google Bot details are shrouded in secrecy to hide from SEO spammers, but you could learn a lot by investigating what cached pages look like. In 2020, Google switched to mobile-by-default, so for instance, if you visit that cached Ars link from earlier, you get the mobile site. If you run a website and want to learn more about what a site looks like to a Google Bot, you can still do that, though only for your own site, from the Search Console.

Google just can’t hide how woke they are. They promote as much diversity as they can, and that’s not a good thing. Their latest AI, Gemini produces diverse images that have nothing to do with reality, and everything to do with an agenda.
Google’s highly-touted AI chatbot Gemini was blasted as “woke” after its image generator spit out factually or historically inaccurate pictures — including a woman as pope, black Vikings, female NHL players and “diverse” versions of America’s Founding Fathers.
Gemini’s bizarre results came after simple prompts, including one by The Post on Wednesday that asked the software to “create an image of a pope.”
Instead of yielding a photo of one of the 266 pontiffs throughout history — all of them white men — Gemini provided pictures of a Southeast Asian woman and a black man wearing holy vestments.
Another Post query for representative images of “the Founding Fathers in 1789″ was also far from reality.
Gemini responded with images of black and Native American individuals signing what appeared to be a version of the US Constitution — “featuring diverse individuals embodying the spirit” of the Founding Fathers.

Users report that the program’s artificial intelligence image search has a ‘woke’ bias baked in, to the point where it severely limits the display of images of white people.

Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The lesson plan has one local father speaking out, calling it “educational malpractice.”
As part of the Black Lives Matter at School Week, World Literature and Composition students at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy,” according to the father of a student. Given the subject matter of the class, the father found it odd this particular lesson was brought up.
The Seattle high schoolers were told that “Worship of the Written Word” is white supremacy because it is “an erasure of the wide range of ways we communicate with each other.” By this definition, the very subject of World Literature and Composition is racist. It also chides the idea that we hyper-value written communication because it’s a form of “honoring only what is written and even then only what is written to a narrow standard, full of misinformation and lies.” The worksheet does not provide any context for what it actually means.

Look, I am not automatically inclined to tell a business owner how to run their operation. It is their money, their venture— run things as you see fit. If anything, I have encouraged this brand of self-reliance. Often, when leftist activists command that a business cater to a particular group or forcibly demand particular levels of inclusion, I have stated that if they feel that strongly about this being a viable plan, then they should back their thoughts with their own cash and sweat equity and go for it.

This was a bookshop and wine emporium that served food and encouraged a communal setting with an avowed left-leaning flair to it. Notice the past tense use there? This is because the shop has just announced they are closing down after some internal struggles and a particularly tumultuous year in business.

D’Ambrosio says he was defamed in the Chicago Facebook group, but was unable to join it to defend himself or get the moderators to remove the posts about him. In one post mentioned in his lawsuit, a woman wrote: “Very clingy very fast. Flaunted money very awkwardly and kept talking about how I don’t want to see his bad side, especially when he was on business calls.”
Another woman wrote: “I went out with him a few times just over a year ago—he told me what I wanted to hear until I slept with him and then he ghosted … I’d steer clear.” (The term “ghosted” refers to when a romantic interest stops responding to all forms of communication without announcing a breakup or an end of contact.)

Anytime I didn’t contact a girl back, it was because there were too many red flags and she practically drove me away. It was never a pump and dump. Top Harvard Medical School neuroscientist Khalid Shah allegedly falsified data and plagiarized images across 21 papers, data manipulation expert Elisabeth M. Bik said.
In an analysis shared with The Crimson, Bik alleged that Shah, the vice chair of research in the department of neurosurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, presented images from other scientists’ research as his own original experimental data.
Though Bik alleged 44 instances of data falsification in papers spanning 2001 to 2023, she said the “most damning” concerns appeared in a 2022 paper by Shah and 32 other authors in Nature Communications, for which Shah was the corresponding author.
Shah is the latest prominent scientist to have his research face scrutiny by Bik, who has emerged as a leading figure among scientists concerned with research integrity.

(The Epoch Times)—With considerably lower efficacy rates, mRNA COVID-19 vaccines cause more deaths than save lives, according to a new study whose researchers called for a “global moratorium” on the shots and “immediate removal” from childhood immunization schedule.
The peer-reviewed study, published in the Cureus journal on Jan. 24, analyzed reports from the initial phase 3 trials of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. These trials led to the shots being approved under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in the United States. The study also looked into several other research and reviews of the trials. It found that the vaccines had “dramatically lower” efficacy rates than the vaccine companies claimed.
Moreover, based on “conservative assumptions, the estimated harms of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines greatly outweigh the rewards: for every life saved, there were nearly 14 times more deaths caused by the modified mRNA injections.”
It only took four years, the courage of a handful of independent medical experts who risked their careers by contradicting the federal government, the mainstream media, and the medical establishment, and the fact that something resembling the free press remains viable in this country, thanks largely to the internet.

The abstract bears your close reading and then re-reading, especially if you are one of the millions of Americans who did what public health gurus like Dr. Anthony Fauci incessantly told us to do and “followed the science.”

A bill, The Traveler Privacy Protection Act, has been introduced with bipartisan support. It calls for the government to end the invasive policy and stop expansion without congressional approval.
After the bill was announced, that’s about the time that DHS decided to move ahead.

Allegedly, TSA won’t keep the data, but how long will Homeland Security and other entities keep it, and who can control what they do with it?

They were the party of slavery, Jim Crow and segregation. The Republican Party was specifically founded to oppose slavery and racist laws, but Michelle seems to be unaware of this.
What’s disturbing is that she constantly uses the terms “separationist” and “integrationist” in her thesis when describing the views of black people, and her thesis clearly identifies her as a separationist.
So, if you are a minority who wants to get ahead in broader society, Michelle thinks you’re a sellout. Talk about divisive.
This is a hateful woman, not unlike Hillary. She has an ax to grind towards white people and a husband who wants to destroy the foundation of America. This is by definition racist. They have tried to undo everything Trump (through Biden) did because of hate, not logic and common sense. The country was better, safer and more secure with his policies.

Why College Students’ Average IQ Has Fallen 17 Points Since 1939
It’s commonly cited that undergraduates are significantly smarter than average, with IQs ranging from 115 to 130. But as a team of Canadian researchers showed in a recently published meta-analysis, that “fact” is woefully out of date.
Conducted by first author Bob Uttl, a psychologist and faculty member at Mount Royal University, and his co-authors Victoria Violo and Lacey Gibson, the meta-analysis aggregated numerous studies measuring college students’ IQs conducted between 1939 and 2022. The results showed that undergraduates’ IQs have steadily fallen from roughly 119 to a mean of 102 today — just slightly above the population average of 100. In short, undergraduates are now no more intelligent on average than members of the general population.
This finding is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, the decrease in undergraduates’ IQs sharply contrasts with the long-observed “Flynn effect,” which describes how IQ scores among the general public have been steadily rising over time. In 1984, James Flynn published a paper showing that Americans’ IQs had risen by about three points per decade over the prior 46 years — an increase that Flynn found was not attributable to recalibrations of IQ tests, which are performed roughly every 15 years. His finding has since been replicated by other researchers, and the climb in IQs appears to have mostly continued (though there are signs it may have reversed in the first two decades of the 21st century).
The recent findings also reflect the notion that being accepted to college today no longer requires the intelligence that it used to — or at least the sort of intelligence measured by an IQ test. While useful, IQ tests are not definitive measures of intelligence. After all, intelligence comes in a variety of forms beyond what questions on a test can reveal.
“The decline in students’ IQ is a necessary consequence of increasing educational attainment over the last 80 years,” the researchers commented. “Today, graduating from university is more common than completing high school in the 1940s.”

As RedState reported, Ford has cut the production of its “Lightning” electric pickup truck in half. Why? Mainly because no one wants to buy them. Why do they not want to buy them? Because they are overpriced, unreliable, and impractical.

The sports journalism community is mourning the sudden passing of Mike Dickson, a prominent figure in tennis reporting. Dickson, who was set to celebrate his 60th birthday on January 27, died suddenly while in Melbourne for the Australian Open.
The news of his death was confirmed through a social media post by his wife and children. “We are devastated to announce that our wonderful husband and Dad, Mike, has collapsed and died while in Melbourne for the Aus Open,” read the message shared via Dickson’s X account. “For 38 years, he lived his dream covering sport all over the world. He was a truly great man, and we will miss him terribly,” added the message from “Lucy, Sam, Ruby, and Joe.”
While generally respected in the sports journalism space, Dickson was also the author of many stories shaming and trying to cancel tennis star Novak Djokovic.

Venerable sports magazine Sports Illustrated is suffering a major setback this week after its publisher announced that it was laying off the publication’s entire staff. This comes after a neck-breaking turn toward wokeism and other internal problems over the last few years.
The story was first reported by Front Office Sports which revealed on Friday that Authentic, the licensing group that owns SI, terminated its contract with the magazine’s management, The Arena Group.
Authentic bought the once highly popular sports magazine in 2019 for $110 million from former owners Meredith.
In an email sent to magazine staffers, Arena wrote, “We were notified by Authentic Brands Group (ABG) that the license under which the Arena Group operates the Sports Illustrated (SI) brand and SI related properties has been officially revoked by ABG. As a result of this license revocation, we will be laying off staff that work on the SI brand.”
“Some employees will be terminated immediately,” the statement continued, “and paid in lieu of the applicable notice period under the [the union contract]. Employees with a last working day of today will be contacted by the People team soon. Other employees will be expected to work through the end of the notice period, and will receive additional information shortly.”

For those who are not doctors, which happens to be most of us, we depend on those few who have dedicated years of their lives to the scientific and medical fields to help inform us so we can make good decisions about our own health. Heading into the pandemic, a public largely jaded toward media and the government still placed high trust in their doctors. That trust has largely been betrayed during the Covid-19 pandemic years. CDC and FDA consultant Dr. Paul Offit’s response to concerns that the mRNA Covid shots may not be safe is an example of that betrayal.
In this specific case, the Florida Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, called for an end to the use of Pfizer and Moderna mRNA Covid-19 shots, due to the discovery of DNA fragments in the vaccines, including the SV-40 promoter, which is associated with cancer. The concern is integration, which is when foreign DNA becomes incorporated into chromosomal DNA, becoming part of the human genome.
Dr. Ladapo wrote to the FDA on December 6, 2023 asking if the proper assessments have been conducted on the mRNA shots to address the following risks, identified by the FDA in a 2007 publication about plasmid DNA vaccines:
DNA integration could theoretically impact a human’s oncogenes – the genes which can transform a healthy cell into a cancerous cell.
DNA integration may result in chromosomal instability.
The Guidance for Industry discusses biodistribution of DNA vaccines and how such integration could affect unintended parts of the body including blood, heart, brain, liver, kidney, bone marrow, ovaries/testes, lung, draining lymph nodes, spleen, the site of administration and subcutis at injection site.
Since April 2022, the unvaccinated fared better than the COVID vaccinated from a mortality perspective (this could be true earlier than April 2022, but I currently lack the data to show this): there were no COVID “humps” and the seasonal increase in mortality was lower than for the vaccinated.
COVID hasn’t been killing anyone since April 2022 in any significant numbers. This means that there was absolutely no reason for anyone to get a booster shot after April 2022. Even if the vaccine were safe and worked perfectly, there is no data supporting such a need.
The flu vaccines have a “Day 0” mortality rate that exceeds the “1 excess death per M doses” criteria for a safe vaccine. The flu vaccines are clearly unsafe and should be immediately pulled from the market. Flu vaccines also have no hospitalization benefit whatsoever as was pointed out in a JAMA paper published in April 2023. The flu shots simply kill people for no benefit. The data is in plain sight for all to see.
The CDC never cites the Medicare data as proof of vaccine safety and efficacy for any vaccine because the data shows the opposite. All data is kept hidden from public view. So you’ll never see any of the graphs shown in this article from the CDC even though they have the data. They basically only publish data that fits the narrative.
The mRNA COVID vaccines should be pulled from the market. They are literally doing the opposite of what was promised.
The flu vaccine should be pulled as well. While the flu vaccine isn’t nearly as deadly as the COVID vaccine, it is an unsafe vaccine with no measurable clinical benefit.

The State Department didn’t keep tabs on the carbon pollution associated with flying hundreds of federal officials to the last two global climate summits, the Government Accountability Office said in a report made public Thursday.
Failing to do so ran afoul of a 2021 executive order by President Joe Biden that directed agencies to track the greenhouse gas emissions their operations produce, including official air travel, GAO said.
The report was requested by Senate Environment and Public Works Committee ranking member Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who have all criticized the administration’s climate policies.
“Americans are tired of bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. who don’t practice what they preach when it comes to protecting the environment,” Capito said in an email to POLITICO’s E&E News.

In his speech at Davos, Kerry indicates he is clearly worried about the climate scam being dismantled if former President Donald Trump gets reelected. He assures everyone that “the marketplace” has been so saturated with climate nonsense that Trump won’t be able to hit the reverse button.

One of the things to remember about climate change madness is that it has all the scientific validity of the flat earth theory or the ancient medical belief in humors. That is to say, it’s a sealed universe driven by self-reinforcing faith and fantasy without any serious reality attached. The last two days have brought two new examples of the delusions and outright lies that drive the climate change narrative.
On the delusion side, we have Axios’s horror that the earth is within 1.5 degrees of the global warming limit set at the Paris Climate Accords, paired with its assurance that (and I’m quoting more accurately than Claudine Gay ever would), “The climate of 2023 was the hottest seen in at least 125,000 years…” (Emphasis mine.)
There are a couple of obvious problems with that article.
First, the Paris Climate Accords was a political agreement aimed at keeping the U.S. economy flat while other nations, which burn filthy coal, were unfettered. Let’s just say that I don’t take its “limits” seriously—although, of course, the climate changistas do.
Second, and this is the more important one, it’s nonsense to pretend we know to a “half-a-degree Celsius” how hot it was 125,000 years ago. Humans began keeping temperature records in the mid-19th century. Everything before that is guesswork. Some of it is scientifically detailed guesswork based upon ice core samples and tree rings, but it’s still estimates without precision.

For the second time in less than a month, former MSNBC host Chris Matthews appeared on the network’s “Morning Joe” program to express contempt for rural Americans who support former President Donald Trump.
In a rant that mixed condescension, authoritarianism and irony, Matthews put his spiteful and bloodthirsty elitism on display.
The former host encouraged liberal voters to turn out in force for this year’s presidential election.
But that message — innocuous in itself — should fool no one. What mattered was Matthews’ reasoning and broader argument.
“And it’s going to be very close in a place like Pennsylvania, and you’re gonna have rural people out there voting their craziness about the cult,” Matthews said in reference to those who support the GOP front-runner.

Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity (DEI) recently sparked outrage over a discriminatory “privilege list” ahead of MLK Day, which claims that nine “social identity groups” are the benefactors of “unearned benefits.”
Condemning whites, Christians, males, cis-gendered straight people, the able-bodied, middle class and property owners, the middle-aged, and English speakers, the newsletter reads, “Privilege is a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group. Privilege operates on personal, interpersonal, cultural, and institutional levels, and it provides advantages and favors to members of dominant groups at the expense of members of other groups. In the United States, privilege is granted to people who have membership in one or more of these social identity groups.”
The letter continues, “Privilege is characteristically invisible to people who have it. People in dominant groups often believe they have earned the privileges they enjoy or that everyone could have access to these privileges if only they worked to earn them. In fact, privileges are unearned and are granted to people in the dominant groups whether they want those privileges or not, and regardless of their stated intent.”
Martin Luther King Jr. seemingly did not foresee this in his dream that all Americans “will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Still, the university included this “social identities” judgment in their MLK Day celebration
The obvious is that they are run by liberals. It’s the same group of people who were protesting in the 60’s that never left school and took it down the drain.
Now DIE, CRT, victimhood, affirmative action and other nonsense policies have made the sheepskin and education you were supposed to get worth little to not much.
Gone are the days when the best tried their hardest to get in and then get ahead. Besides being woke, the Ivy’s discriminate against Asians and Whites, forcing them to have higher entry standards so that the schools can manipulate their quota’s.
It’s not fair to the students who don’t get in, nor to the students who did get in but can’t keep up. At this point, I could get into the failure of the education system feeding the colleges, but that’s not the point.
While Harvard is the poster boy for the issue, it by no means has a stranglehold on this problem. The California schools are just as woke and have been since hippies.
Since I’m taking university classes right now (Hillsdale College), I’d advise students and parents to evaluate carefully how they spend their money, not waste it.

People who demand diversity, such as the people who run Harvard, are against viewpoint diversity — also known as free speech. Diversity means “it is great to look different as long as you think the way I do.” Conservatives need not apply.

The goal of the operation was to put powerful people in compromising positions and then use that information against them. There is a lot of manipulation of people in the government by the intelligence community

The analysis tells the story of Great Britain heeding the cries for decarbonization, starting when Parliament wrote an 80% decrease in emissions target into law in 2008. They raised it to 100% – or “net zero” – in 2019. The results have clearly been catastrophic.
Since decarbonization efforts commenced, Britain’s economy has grown at half the rate as it did from 1990-2008. According to a research study from noted British economic historian Nicholas Crafts, that’s the second-worst period of British peacetime growth since 1780.
In addition to the economic malaise, British energy prices have skyrocketed, and Britons are now concerned with how to survive the effect of those costs on their wallets, as they look to heat and power their homes and businesses, travel for work and pleasure and live life as best they can.

I recently had some surgery. The first doctor I went to gave me the talk about it being no problem and easy. I wanted a second opinion and it turned out that the actual diagnosis and surgery were completely different than what doctor one diagnosed. Doctor two was the head surgeon at the State University, teaches and has many published papers.

DEI, furthermore, has no place in any institution that values standards and color-blind meritocracy. If diversity becomes the driving force behind hiring and promotion, or even a small part of it, rather than skill, accomplishment, and merit, then it necessarily compromises standards.
If the goal is diversity, and to have proportional representation in Memorial Hospital’s work force, based on race, sex, sexual orientation, and other such trivialities, even in part, and the hospital does not contemplate the individual and his unique abilities and contributions over all else, then the system collapses and becomes simply one of groups or tribes competing with one another. Meritocracy necessarily dies in such a system. You can have DEI or meritocracy, but not both.

School board administrators in their mindless pursuit of “equity” have decided to eliminate honors English classes in a prestigious academic district where parents would be delighted to enroll their children: Santa Monica High School.
The sentiment behind the initiative was best summed up by Sarah Rodriguez, an English teacher at the high school. She, and others involved in the 1½ year pursuit of the initiative, wanted to be “fair” to all students, and not make anyone feel left out or marginalized.
“This is not about labeling students or labeling classes,” Rodriguez says. “What we’re doing is, we’re saying this is a new paradigm.” Her overview of this new paradigm — she insists — is about “all of our students (being) capable and we’re going to meet them where they are.”
It’s a beautiful sentiment, but lacking in reality of what’s going to happen to the bright and gifted students’ opportunities for advanced education. She failed to mention how the initiative would “meet” their needs in a dumbed-down curriculum.
Parents have made it clear to administrators that they view the “equity initiative” as another example of administrators being shortsighted, if not blinded, by the end results of their bad decisions. “A race to the bottom,” is now a popular term used by parents to describe this and other diversity programs contributing to the eroding academic standards in public schools.
“We really feel equity means offering opportunities to students of diverse backgrounds, not taking away opportunities for advanced education and study,” says parent Joanna Schaenman, who spearheads an effort to reinstate honors class at a school where her child attends in Culver City.
The one-size (academic curriculum) fits all students, Schaenman says, is not beneficial for the students who are willing to work harder and achieve higher academic outcomes.
This parental push back is popping up at school board meetings at different high schools operating in one of the nation’s most “progressive” regions: Los Angeles Unified School District.
“I have a child in high school,” one mother told the school board in Culver City. “It is too easy in his classroom” since the elimination of the honors classes. “They (administrators) say it’s equity, they say that’s the reason and therefore it’s okay,” she added. It is far for “okay,” she says, pointing out her son is “no longer challenged in class.”
This complaint is shared by many parents who are watching the decline of their children’s education. Now my son is “bored in class,” offers another parent.
Sensitivities expressed by the administrators in the interest of underperforming students does not appear to extend to parents of the more accomplished students. Parents objecting to the “dumbed-down” curriculum have been subject to slurs and insults by faculty and administrators: “Racist” is a common fallback term used by administrators to label parents objecting to the “equity initiatives.” At one school board meeting in another district, Asian parents were met with a sign that read: “Leave your Asian privilege at the door.”
It is now becoming harder to tag the parents as racists.
Many of the upset parents are immigrants themselves who appear as dark as the students who are underrepresented in the honors classes, primarily including Hispanic and black children.
Pedro Frigola, who is from Cuba, has two daughters attending Culver City High School. He claims the school is “performing a disservice to the students and community” with the elimination of advanced instruction.
He pointed out in a Fox television interview that the administration put forth the claim that the initiative is hatched in the name of “equity,” but “it’s not defined,” The parent stresses the necessity to provide equal opportunity for all students, but not remove opportunities for students who are excelling in their studies.
“Achieving equal outcomes at all costs,” says Frigola, is an ideology that results in holding many children back, That’s not the only drawback. Students now cannot list “advanced placement” (AP classes) on their applications when applying to Ivy League colleges, placing them at a distinct disadvantage.
This reality isn’t getting in the way of administrators championing their cause. They claim that teachers — who work with students day in and day out — are completely supportive of this “equity initiative.” That has not been Mr. Frigola’s experience when he has discussed the issue with teachers at his daughters’ high school. He reports they have expressed their concerns about the detrimental effects this initiative will have on the high-achieving students. “Of course they’re afraid to speak out because they don’t want to be reprimanded,” he says. “They have their careers to worry about.”
Mr. Frigola, who had grown up in Cuba, thought he had left behind the communist culture of censorship and fear of expressing a dissenting voice, but he was wrong.
In the meantime, embattled faculty and teachers have become more firmly entrenched in espousing their ideology. Rhetoric is becoming more harsh, with administrators now claiming advanced English classes were “perpetuating inequality.” They tend to rely on statistical data verifying black and Hispanic students are underrepresented in the honors classes. Of course, Asian students — who score consistently higher — remain overrepresented in percentages enrolled in advanced courses vs. make-up of population.
Less accomplished students appear to be picking up the messages of victimhood from the faculty. One student described his feeling as “unable to break out of the mold” and another as feeling inferior “because of the segregation” of honors from regular English classes.
“Whatever happened to the concept of working hard and earning a place in an AP class,” one parent commented on social media. “Are we teaching these children to whine rather than work hard?’
It is fair to wonder whether today’s educators are failing to prepare students for their matriculation into the real world. Students who were coddled and protected — from revamping curriculum for “equal outcomes” to handing out “participation awards” for non-athletic winners — will be sorely disappointed when they enter a merit-based system and find themselves at the end of the line for a salary increase or promotion up the corporate ladder.

Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and the Republican National Committee’s use of artificial intelligence, Schmidt begged lawmakers and Big Tech to unleash draconian measures that, if implemented, could mark the beginning of a leftist dystopian society.
Among his proposed measures include 1) verifying human users on social media, 2) tracking IP addresses, 3) watermarking AI-generated content, 4) banning advertisers that do not comply with rules, 5) using humans to “fend off an avalanche” of AI-generated content and 6) investing in research. Schmidt noted the confusion AI can cause, noting a need to “brace ourselves for more chaos as key votes unfold across the world in 2024.” He decried the use of AI-generated content to attack scandal-ridden President Joe Biden.

Both scandals have discredited her presidency, but neither should come as a surprise. Throughout Gay’s career at Harvard—as professor, dean, and president—racialist ideology has driven her scholarship, administrative priorities, and rise through the institution.Over the course of her career, Gay quietly built a “diversity” empire that influenced every facet of university life. Between 2018 and the summer of 2023, as the dean of the largest faculty on campus, Gay oversaw the university’s racially discriminatory admissions program, which the Supreme Court found unconstitutional. Governments and international organizations cannot force renewable energy and electric vehicles before people are ready. That’s a recipe for crisis.
Construction sites in Eau Claire feature battered pickup trucks and SUVs driven by construction workers, who can’t afford EVs. There is no subway in Eau Claire, bus service is limited, and people can’t rely on bicycles due to snowy weather and long distances.
Affordable transportation provides a means to a job, a ride to school, and to take weekend trips and vacations with the family.
In contrast, EVs are popular as second cars with upper-income individuals who have short commutes. Americans value the freedom to choose gasoline-only, hybrid, or electric vehicles, and for that freedom, it’s crucial to have alternative choices. But the organizers of COP28, supported by President Joe Biden, don’t want Americans or residents of other countries to choose which vehicles to buy.
This erosion of choice is not only detrimental to consumer freedom, but also to the livelihood of auto producers and car dealers. Look no further than last month’s letter to Biden signed by about 4,000 auto dealers, who were disturbed at the surging supply of unsold electric vehicles on their lots.
Even with subsidies to car manufacturers and tax credits for buyers, only 7% of new-vehicle sales are electric, well below Biden’s 2030 goal of 60%.
Codifying the recommendations of COP28 would require that America generate an additional costly 1.4 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity, or 30% of current output, to support the charging needs of a full fleet of electric vehicles.
Over the past two decades, nearly $7 trillion has been spent globally on subsidies for wind and solar energy. Despite this substantial investment, these sources contribute only 2.3% to the global supply of energy. Pairing fully electric vehicles with costly and unreliable electricity is a recipe for disaster.
Wisconsinites appreciate the benefits of affordable energy and the mobility of gasoline-powered cars. As a cold Christmas approaches, they know that COP28 recommendations won’t fly here in the Badger State.

A New York federal judge has ordered for the release of documents that will reportedly name Jeffrey Epstein’s clients and associates in early 2024.
The records are a part of a settled civil case in which it is claimed that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s incarcerated former partner, facilitated the sexual abuse of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre.
However, the 2017 settlement’s terms were kept anonymous.
Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 for sex trafficking minors and obtaining underage girls for Epstein, who committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
In addition to girls, there have also been allegations that Maxwell and Epstein had also acquired underage boys, however, the specifics of those claims do not at this time indicate any proof, since none have since come forward to law enforcement or the media.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
The release is scheduled for January 1st thanks to the efforts of Judge Loretta Preska. However, she forewarned that many names would still not be disclosed.
Epstein’s accomplices and possibly “innocent” colleagues may have their names made public if they had not successfully fought to keep them out of the civil action.
More than 150 people are anticipated to be identified in hundreds of documents that will reveal additional information about Epstein’s sex trafficking of minors in a number of U.S. cities and countries.
Prosecutors say that between 1994 and 2004, Maxwell and Epstein collaborated to locate minors, “groom” them, and then lure them to travel to Epstein’s properties in New York, Florida, and New Mexico, among other locations.
Some underage victims who spoke to reporters and law enforcement asserted that they were directed to give “massages” and perform other tasks, which then eventually led to being sexually assaulted.
In an effort to somehow try and take Trump out of the 2024 election, the Colorado Supreme Court just made him far more popular. Even Biden’s advisors should have him make a statement to stop this as the people are going to turn out for the Donald even more.
These people think they are all bold by trying to not allow him to run, but he’ll be on the ballot and even more electable. If by chance they succeed, watch both his write in vote in Colorado and the vote in all the other states skyrocket.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump cannot appear on the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot “because he engaged in an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.”
“A majority of the court holds that President Trump is disqualified from holding the office of President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” wrote the court. “Because he is disqualified, it would be a wrongful act under the Election Code for the Colorado Secretary of State to list him as a candidate on the presidential primary ballot.”
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
The Colorado Supreme Court just happened to remind people that justices don’t have to be Originalists. After all, if you stick with the plain language in the Constitution you cannot bend it to your will and agenda (I took out the notations):
If the language is clear and unambiguous, then we enforce it as written, and we need not turn to other tools of construction. However, if the provision’s language is reasonably susceptible of multiple interpretations, then it is ambiguous, and we may consider “the textual, structural, and historical evidence put forward by the parties,” and we will construe the provision “in light of the objective sought to be achieved and the mischief to be avoided.”
Section 3 is not ambiguous. Like 99% of the rest of the Constitution it is crystal clear: You cannot hold office if you engaged in an insurrection or rebellion.
Let’s look at the word engaged. Merriam-Webster has six definitions of engaged. The two that best matches the word in section three are “involved in activity” and “involved especially in a hostile encounter.”
I look at the thesaurus to get a deeper understanding of a word.
Harvard students are in activist uniform, displaying the identical slogan on the machine that sits in front of their faces. Elite students at a top university, alleged to be the best of the best, are carefully identical in their virtue signaling. Uniformity is merit. To be the best is to be the same. As you rise, you converge and narrow. I mean, you don’t have to wear a kaffiyeh — you can always just go to state college. They have a lot of people like you in places like that.
Imagine the costs of this cultural cancer.
This uniformity is not an accident. Young people are being trained to behave like this. College counselors and the small army of “Ivy consultants” tell upper-middle-class teenagers to design their high school years around the story they’re going to tell on their college applications. The top schools are looking for X classes and interests, not Y classes and interests, so stop being interested in Y and focus on X. No, that’s not the kind of volunteer experience that the top schools want to see. No, that’s the wrong hobby, the wrong sport, the wrong summer. Credentialing is an industry, and young people are being taught to perform their lives within the expected lines. “The Ivies want to see your passion for social justice.” So be sure to show that.

How scary is a new paper showing mRNA Covid shots accidentally cause our bodies to make many different proteins and not just the Covid spike, as the shot’s promoters have claimed for three years?
Scary enough the paper’s authors began spinning their work as soon as they put it out. University of Cambridge professor Anne Willis, the study’s co-senior author, told reporters that mRNA “technology is amazing and it’s going to be revolutionary… but we’ve just made it a whole lot safer going forward.”
In all, almost 10 percent of the proteins that the mRNA Covid jabs make the body produce appear to be “wrong,” rather than the intended spike protein.
In the Cell paper, the authors show that neither Covid-19 itself nor the DNA-based Covid vaccine from AstraZeneca produce similar proteins. The effect is limited to the mRNAs.
The authors also reported they could find a biological response to the wrong proteins in mice and in humans. They warned that these proteins “could activate T cells that target host cells,” and that their other effects “could include increased production of new B cell antigens.”
T and B cells form the core of our immune system. In other words, the mRNA jabs may accidentally cause the body to attack its own tissues, as well as make antibodies that don’t work against the spike protein.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has now brought a suit to bring accountability for the fraud that resulted in record profits for the pharmaceutical industry. Paxton alleges that the $75 billion Pfizer has raked in through sales of Covid vaccines were the “direct and proximate result” of the company’s deceit.
The DTPA requires Paxton prove two questions to succeed in his case. First, he must establish that the company lied or failed to disclose known information concerning its Covid vaccine. Second, he must prove that the company’s fraud was designed to promote sales of the shots.

During a March 27, 2015, forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Catastrophic Events, Daszak noted4 that unless an infectious disease crisis is at an emergency threshold, it tends to be ignored.
“To sustain the funding base beyond the crisis, we need to increase public understanding of the need for MCMs (medical countermeasures) such as a pan-influenza or pan-coronavirus vaccine,” Daszak said, adding:5
“A key driver is the media, and the economics follow the hype. We need to use that hype to our advantage to get to the real issues. Investors will respond if they see profit at the end of the process.”
Penn loses $100 million donation after antisemitism hearing
The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) lost a major $100 million donation on Thursday amid the fallout from Penn President Liz Magill’s comments at a recent House hearing on campus antisemitism.
In a letter to Penn Senior Vice President Wendy White, lawyers for Ross Stevens, the founder and CEO of Stone Ridge Asset Management, said Stevens would be withdrawing his gift, now valued at about $100 million, that was expected to fund the Stevens Center for Innovation in Finance.
Stevens’s lawyers allege Penn violated the terms of Stone Ridge’s limited partner agreement with the school.
“Mr. Stevens and Stone Ridge are appalled by the University’s stance on antisemitism on campus,” Stevens’s lawyers wrote. “Its permissive approach to hate speech calling for violence against Jews and laissez faire attitude toward harassment and discrimination against Jewish students would violate any policies or rules that prohibit harassment and discrimination based on religion, including those of Stone Ridge.”
The letter noted Stevens and Stone Ridge would be open to discussing the matter further and would give the school the chance to “remedy” its alleged violations of the agreement.
“Until then, there can be no meaningful discussion about remedying the University’s ongoing failure to honor its obligations,” attorneys Neil Barr and Dana M. Seshens wrote.
Stevens is a graduate of Penn and also has a child who recently graduated from the school. Another one of his children is a junior at the university.
“Absent a change in leadership and values at Penn in the very near future, I plan to rescind Penn’s Stone Ridge shares to prevent any further reputational and other damage to Stone Ridge as a result of our relationship with Penn and Liz Magill,” Stevens wrote in a note to his staff on Thursday. “I love Penn and it is important to me, but our firm’s principles are more important.”

There is “no science” that says the world should phase out fossil fuels to curb global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, according to Sultan Al Jaber, the president of the COP28 climate summit, the Guardian and the Centre for Climate Reporting report.
“There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve 1.5C,” Al Jaber said in an online event last month, the remarks from which the Guardian reported on December 3, days after the COP28 summit in Dubai began on November 30.
Al Jaber made those comments in response to questions from Mary Robinson, the chair of the Elders group and a former UN special envoy for climate change.
In its own analytical documents, the Pfizer corporation classified its experimental mRNA treatment (in this case, under the trade name Comirnaty) as “very highly hazardous”. Pfizer classifies its own C19 modRNA product as “highly dangerous”
The modRNA products are moved through the body with the help of so-called lipid nanoparticles and transfected into the cells. The two lipids used by Pfizer, ALC-0159 and ALC-0315, had no approval before 2020 except for “research purposes”. In Pfizer’s safety data sheets they are assigned a medium toxic potential; in the syringe they cause a “high toxic potential.” It’s unbelievable that the authorities would allow something like this to be injected into the upper arms.
TKP published a detailed analysis on December 9, 2021. It quotes the company that produces these lipids. She writes on her website: “ALC-0159 is one of the components of the BNT162b2 vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, along with ALC-0315, DSPC and cholesterol. This product is for research use only and not for human use.”
And further: ALC-0159 and ALC-0315 are discussed in the EMA Assessment Report for the first conditional marketing authorization starting on page 22.

“All excipients except the functional lipids ALC-0315 and ALC-0159 and the structural lipid DSPC comply with the Ph. Eur. The functional lipids ALC-0315 and ALC-0159 are classified as novel excipients. The two structural lipids DSPC and cholesterol are used in several finished products that have already been approved.”

Parents objecting to the “dumbed-down” curriculum have been subject to slurs and insults by faculty and administrators: “Racist” is a common fallback term used by administrators to label parents objecting to the “equity initiatives.” At one school board meeting in another district, Asian parents were met with a sign that read: “Leave your Asian privilege at the door.”
