And You Thought You Might Have Had Delusions of Grandeur

Sure, I get them from everyone, but I think if you are over 50, or a guy, you shouldn’t be doing this. It seems like playing with dolls, but then that is just me.
This post and the link about saying Ha! on a text are about the same person. A girl over 60 who thought it was cute. Act like an adult, you are a physician for Pete’s sake.
Medics were shocked to find that a fisherman had been struck with a harpoon — and not by accident.
Sujit Klingtalay was out with friends fishing and drinking beers in the Nakhon Ratchasima province of Thailand when the recent incident occurred.
The 45-year-old told Viral Press that he and another friend got into an argument about which man had caught a bigger fish.
“I was fishing with my friend, and we joked about the fish we had caught. I said [that] I had caught bigger fish than him, but he was offended,” he said.
Out of anger, Klingtalay’s friend decided to aim a fishing harpoon at the back of Klingtalay’s head — which lodged inside in the skin.
New AI-powered tools produce inaccurate election information more than half the time, including answers that are harmful or incomplete, according to new research.
The study, from AI Democracy Projects and nonprofit media outlet Proof News, comes as the U.S. presidential primaries are underway across the U.S. and as more Americans are turning to chatbots such as Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s GPT-4 for information. Experts have raised concerns that the advent of powerful new forms of AI could result in voters receiving false and misleading information, or even discourage people from going to the polls.
Wokeness is a cognitive weapon of mass destruction. A civilization-destroying superweapon.
By that I mean it is a set of psychological and political methods and techniques that can be deployed to destroy not just an individual or a small group, but a whole civilization.
The Dark BLACK, Dark RED Heart (Third from Left, or 2nd from Right) WORKING 100% HARDER THAN IT SHOULD … 5 Mos post C-19 RNA/DNA GENETIC JABB.
"If your heart is having to work 46% harder than a non-vaccinated person's heart, for six months, that's 18 million beats… Every one of those beats is at close to 50% more energy required than a [unvaccinated] person's heart. It only happens after the vaccine."
Better yet, don’t use any of them to spy on you, especially Google. The article says it can be used against you if you are in trouble with the law, but nevertheless, here it is:
1. Play doctor
You’re better off not asking Siri, Google or Alexa for any medical advice — not just lifesaving advice. Trusting those smart assistants might just make things worse. It’s always best to call or book a telehealth appointment with your doctor.
2. How to hurt someone
Don’t ask your smart assistant about harming someone, even if you’re just venting. Those chats with Siri or Google Assistant could come back to bite you if you end up on the wrong side of the law. Keep those kinds of thoughts to yourself.
3. Anything that ends up with your mug shot
Don’t ask Alexa where to buy drugs, where to hide a body or anything else suspicious. Like asking your smart assistant how to hurt someone, these types of questions could be used against you.
4. Be your telephone operator
If you need to call your closest Home Depot to see if they have something in stock, find the number yourself. The same goes for asking that assistant to call emergency services. Dialing 911 takes two seconds.
5. Deal with your money
Although voice assistants can connect to your financial apps, there are many security issues with voice data. Savvy cybercriminals can hack into your phone, steal your voice and use it to drain your accounts. Just log into your bank’s website or mobile app and call it a day.
6. “Will I die if I eat this?”
If you’re on a hike wondering if the berries you found would make a good snack, voice assistants aren’t reliable sources. There’s conflicting information online about poisonous foods and plants, and taking their advice could land you a trip to the hospital.
7. “Get rid of this.”
Don’t ask Alexa or Siri to clear your search history, delete an app or remove photos. I’ve had a few mishaps where a simple misunderstanding led to something important getting wiped out. Trust me, it’s worth the extra minute to do it manually.
“The chickens are coming home to roost in the UK, thanks to the Conservative (in name only) government, which has allowed an invasion of unvetted Muslim migrants to continue. Islamist rape gangs, chaos, intimidation, antisemitism, and extreme violence have befallen Britain, which is undergoing a massive change in its national character. The country is now under siege by supremacist, Sharia-believing Islamists who aim for a global caliphate by whatever means possible (stealth and violent) Their efforts have now reached the doorsteps of politicians.
It is only a matter of time before the personal safety of ALL British citizens is in jeopardy, and quickly Britons are learning to “know their place” and not offend Islamists. Already, Jews are bearing the brunt of all this, particularly since October 7, and not only in Britain.
It’s not only the US with a problem with illegals. As usual, the Muslims are a problem but the UK made a bad decision not to admit the truth about them. Good luck with your country.
Every time I get reminded to recycle, I show articles like this and remind the other person that it is socialist behavior and how bad it is for our health. Since I’m related by marriage to a bunch of socialists in Scandinavia, it sort of stops them from their favorite sport, trashing America.
Well, here are the facts, it doesn’t work and it’s been a first class hoax since inception.
The industry knew decades ago that recycling was never viable in the long term, and now we’re all being poisoned by its product.
Hardly any plastics can be recycled. You’d be forgiven for not knowing that, given how much messaging Americans receive about the convenience of recycling old bottles and food containers—from the weekly curbside collections to the “chasing arrows” markings on food and beverage packaging. But here’s the reality: Between 1990 and 2015, some 90 percent of plastics either ended up in a landfill, were burned, or leaked into the environment. Another recent study estimates that just 5 to 6 percent are successfully recycled.
While those numbers may surprise you, these sorts of statistics aren’t news to the companies that produce plastics. For more than 30 years, the industry knew precisely how impractical it is to recycle them, according to a new report from the Center for Climate Integrity. A trade association called the Vinyl Institute concluded in a 1986 report that “recycling cannot be considered a permanent solid waste solution” to plastics, as it merely prolongs the time until an item is disposed of.” Still, facing public backlash over the growing amount of plastics being incinerated and piling up in landfills, manufacturers and their lobbyists sold recycling as an easy solution, warding off potential legislation to ban or limit plastics.
This, of course, has echoes of Big Tobacco and Big Oil, both of which withheld crucial information from the public for decades—causing untold damage to human health and the planet, respectively. Both industries are payingdearly for it. Is Big Plastic due for a similar reckoning?
In some sense, a reckoning is already happening—just not (yet) because of the industry’s decades of alleged deception, disastrous environmental justice record, and mass proliferation of microplastics into human bloodstreams. At the beginning of this year, S&P Global found that the petrochemicals industry—responsible for producing the suite of typically oil- and gas-derived compounds known as plastics, as well as pesticides and industrial chemicals—faces uncertain prospects over the coming years. “Overall, global petrochemicals prices appear to have reached a peak in October and are forecast to grind lower into early-2024 following energy and feedstock prices lower,” the consultancy found, forecasting a “supply-drive surplus” through 2026.
Researchers tested plastic pellets from recycling plants in 13 different plants across the world. They found 491 readily identifiable organic compounds, with a further 170 tentatively identified. As you can see from the table below, they span a wide variety of chemical classes.
Recent revelations from a source with knowledge of the matter suggest that the regime has mandated the nationwide destruction of all COVID-19 data within the healthcare system.
Recently, Mr. Chen (pseudonym) from Changsha, Hunan, disclosed to the Chinese language edition of The Epoch Times that his friend holds a leadership role in a local hospital. “He told me directly: the government is instructing health departments across the country to eradicate all COVID-19-related data, including information on the entire epidemic prevention process and vaccination records. They must obliterate all data without leaving a trace, and computer records must be deleted entirely,” said Mr. Chen.
Mr. Chen said the person said that the directive is nationwide.
Mr. Chen elaborated that the CCP’s demand entails “No data can be spared, neither on paper nor on computers. Records of vaccine administration are to be expunged, as well as records of nucleic acid testing and any embarrassing incidents that occurred during the entire epidemic prevention process.”
According to Mr. Chen, the authorities seek to erase this period from history, intending to prevent future generations from learning about these events as it signifies a government failure. He drew parallels to previous CCP leader Mao Zedong’s actions that resulted in the deaths of many Chinese people, actions that were intentionally omitted from historical records.
There is more at this link, but it kind of tells us the obvious. It was created with gain of function, the jab was a lie and didn’t stop anything, there was a coverup of what really happened and they don’t want the rest of the world knowing the truth and revolting against those who perpetrated this on us.
March is Women’s History Month, when man-hating becomes even more socially acceptable than the other 11 months of the year. This March, if women really cared about the betterment of their sex, they’d start appreciating men. If we have any chance of avoiding civilizational collapse, women need to reject the feminist cult and begin understanding that both sexes play necessary and complementary roles in society.
Why the world needs men. There are jobs important to our livelihood that need doing. Jobs that men do.
And yet it is somehow funny to make fun of men. Of course it is a TikTok trend. SMH.
Countless other young women in their twenties have hopped on the trend over the past couple of weeks to prank their fathers and brothers into believing they are seriously considering becoming offshore oil rig workers.
Yet this same demographic of women — who know they could never and would never underwater weld or steelwork — routinely takes the opposite sex for granted. Just watch this viral video, where women are asked the question, “Do we need men?”
Oil rigging is one of the most high-risk occupations in the world, and there are reasons to believe the fatality rate is even greater than is officially reported. Underwater welding, which is what most of the young women are joking about doing, is widely considered the deadliest job you can have, with a nearly 15 percent fatality rate.
The reason the trend is funny and has amassed millions of views is that no one believes these women would last one day working on an offshore oil rig, including the girls themselves.
As of 2020, women made up 3 percent of offshore oil rig workers. The percentage is presumably even lower for underwater welders. Young women are beginning to realize how grueling these jobs are, with the TikTok trend sparking viral videos of women reacting in awe at the work men do on oil rigs.
Modern feminism has convinced generations of women that they are victims of a patriarchal society and that male leadership and attributes are inherently unjust and “toxic.” The result has been women who are bitter, self-pitying, and ungrateful.
There is more at the link above, but I think you get the drift…..
As anyone even halfway aware of Bud Light’s financial woes since putting Dylan Mulvaney on one their cans predicted, their attempt to reclaim their domination of the beer market via funny Super Bowl ads did not have the intended result.
If anything, it was a waste of a $7 million plus brand rehabilitation effort.
The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that, despite the astronomical amounts of money Anheuser-Busch expended on the prime ad space of the Super Bowl, the company’s attempt to boost their flagging sales “barely moved the needle.”
While the Super Bowl helped raise sales ever so slightly, it was still left in the dust by Modelo Especial, who first dethroned the brand in May 2023 in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney boycott.
The day of the Super Bowl, Bud Light accounted for 7.3 percent of all beer sold, while Modelo accounted for 8.7 percent.
I could fix their problem, but they are too woke. Apologize for celebrating a tranny and having a woke girl ruining their marketing by going against everything Bud stands for.
If Trump can’t save them from failing, they are going to have to come to the truth. Admit your mistake and commit to not doing it again. Appeal to men the way they are instead of what the Karen’s of social media tell us we should act like.
As with everything it touches, Woke ruins everything. Get woke go broke.
After graduating from high school, a group of us decided to play in an organized softball league. Our choice at that time was down to church league softball. While we played and did OK, which I’ll talk about later, the extracurricular activities were more interesting. It’s later on in the post.
Our team was part of of the same group who lost almost every game in church league basketball, mostly because we were a bunch of white guys thinking we could play. There were some people who resembled athletes on this team. My roommate George and I both played tennis for our colleges, but that didn’t qualify us as good softball players. We had a couple of players who were little league stars, but as a group we weren’t that good.
Before I get started, this is a good lead in to the story.
We didn’t have a fistfight, at least on our team, but it did happen, between two other teams, both of which we played. A lot of other growing up stuff did happen though.
We were in that stage of just being out of high school, but growing up late and were starting to experiment with life. We also weren’t the star players on the baseball team either.
I guess we started out serious. We had just enough people for a team, All Saints Episcopal (we would be anything but Saints). I don’t remember if we had a team name, but it wouldn’t have been the Yankees. Misfit’s would have been more accurate. If anyone bailed, we’d have to forfeit. It was close some days whether enough guys would show up, but we managed to play the season. Of the nine guys, I think we had 4 that who actually played organized baseball. They put up with the lack of skills by the rest of us.
We picked positions and somehow I got 3rd base, far too close to home and a position I’d never played before. I’m pretty sure I was the kid in right field in my one year foray in little league at 7 years old. After a few practices, we thought we were ready to play and tear up the league. I think we believed the same thing in the basketball failure a few years earlier when we won 1 game all season.
In the first game, damn near the first batter of the year, a hard grounder was hit right to me. I was as shocked as anyone when I fielded it. I turned and fired a throw to the first baseman about 5 feet above his head. Since this was over 40 years ago now, I can’t remember whether we won or not. I’m pretty sure we lost as we did a lot of that.
In a subsequent game, another batter hit a line shot and I stuck my glove up and actually caught it. I was as surprised as anyone on the field, but had the sense of awareness to look like I meant to do it.
What saved us in a lot of games was enough singles by us to get batters on, but count on our big sticks, Pat and Mark Greene, Chris Patterson and an occasional lucky hit by others to score enough runs to overcome the errors in the field. Occasionally, we’d actually pull off a great play like a throw from deep left to home to get the runner out. Since the catcher never played before, it was a crap shoot whether he’d catch it or not and that we got the out surprised everyone on the field. He was a Dad who was a good sport to put up with us. He had no idea what we did off the field and was as (in)capable as the rest of us on the field (barely).
We’d go on to be about a .500 team. Being a church league, we were fortunate to face groups of people without any little league players who were actually worse than us, or a forfeit.
In the last game of the season against St Margaret Mary, my parents finally came to see me play. They had Ryan Sanderson on the other side, who was a starter at the University of Florida. Ryan also starred at our high school and it would be like playing pick up basketball with Michael Jordan on the other team. Ever at bat went over the fence.
I hit my only homer of the season in that game, in front of my Dad. It was a perfect ending to my only year of somewhat organized softball. Our team went on to hit 16 homers in that game and lost. The other team hit over 20. I’m sure Ryan had at least 5, or how ever many times he got up to bat. Hitting one out in front of my parents overshadowed the loss. Plus, the following made us forget everything.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
On the field, we’d try stupid stuff like our first foray’s into chewing tobacco thinking we would be like the big leagues. I remember putting a wad of Red Man into my mouth and heading out to third. By mid inning, I was spitting everything I could and dying for the inning to end so that I could get that shit out of my mouth without embarrassing myself in front of my friends. We routinely had macho contests to prove our masculinity and I couldn’t fail at this in public.
Here’s Robert Earl Keen on dipping snuff, funny song
Fortunately, it was a quick inning and I escaped embarrassment as well as losing my dinner.
After it became clear that we weren’t going to the world series, our other adventures in life crept in. We decided that it would be a good idea to get high before the games and see if we could play. Mark Imhoof who was a regular user provided the goods and the bong. He was the kid who got high in High School, had long hair and a van. He was a good player and the friend of someone else on the team, but he never went to our church. Come to think of it, most of the rest of us had stopped going to church by then also. Since I was high, I’m sure we didn’t play our best, but by then we didn’t really care as much. We came out of that van like Cheech and Chong, trailing smoke.
My roommate George and I lived in his parents house. It was my first home away from home. His parents were missionaries in Guatemala at the time. When the cat’s away, we were the mice. It was the place our friends from the team came to to do stuff they couldn’t do when they were in town and at their parents, meaning drinking and getting high. Many of us lost our virginity there, to the same girl on different nights in different rooms in the house.
AFTER THE GAME
Being a church league team, we celebrated after the game spiritually by going to wherever the pitchers of beer were the cheapest. I recall one dive called the Copper Top. We also went to the Steak Out where you got free Sangria with an order of a steak tough enough to wear as a desert boot. I’m sure they lost money on us given what we drank and we’d go out afterwards for more. We finally got kicked out and got banned from coming back.
There was always beat the clock at Big Daddy’s. If you know the game, the price goes up after a certain time, so you drink as fast as you can at first to keep the price down. We were in college working for minimum wage at the time ($2.00). The beginning price was a nickel a beer and it doubled every half hour. I was hammered by the first tick of the clock as were the rest of the team.
On the off chance that we played on Wednesday, it was also nickle beer night at Rosie O’Grady’s in downtown Orlando.
Nevertheless, a healthy activity sponsored by a religious organization turned into a night of us getting fucked up. I don’t think I had early classes, but I missed them if I did.
That of course led to…
LATE NIGHT GREASE TO SOAK UP THE ALCOHOL
We hit a number of places. Back then, the Grand Slam was $1.99, affordable and enough food to soak up some of the beer before bed.
The other place was Krystal’s. I think the burgers were a nickle there also. It became a dick measuring contest to see how many you could eat. I topped out at 11, but Marc Greene regularly at 25 and went over 30 on some nights. I was in awe of him being an eating machine.
In the end, we only lasted that one season. We were kind of done when we started getting high before the games.
I lost track of most of the players. George and I wound up being best men at each other’s weddings and today are still friends. He transferred out of state to another college and I moved on campus at mine. We never went back to that church again, except for my parents funerals.
Growing up comes in many flavors. This was just the start of my fucking up in life. I had many adventures to come that made this tame.
In the week that Google’s new artificial intelligence platform launched, its seeming inability to produce images of white men regardless of the prompt made it an unmitigated disaster.
And with more information unearthed regarding the people responsible for Google Gemini’s insufferable wokeness, its deficiencies look much less like a bug and more like a feature.
As reported Thursday by the Babylon Bee’s news site, Not the Bee, the senior director of the project, Jack Krawczyk, addressed Gemini’s problems in a post on the X social media platform — before he locked his account.
“We are aware that Gemini is offering inaccuracies in some historical image generation depictions, and we are working to fix this immediately,” Krawczyk said.
Between the wording of his post and Google’s decision to suspend Gemini’s image-generating feature, it appears the tech giant wants the insanely diverse images to seem like a simple mistake….only it wasn’t. Click on the link above
On the massive, 90B$ losses incurred by Google for its Winston Smithing of history through its AI image/video generator.
What is a little irritating to this site is that suddenly this event cost Google this much. We have been posting actual court-worthy evidence for well over a decade that Google breaks its OWN STATED RULES to give a neo-Marxist search result as opposed to the one its own rules state should be given. One article by an actual expert, not like the parachuted epidemiologists used to hump the vaccines and lock downs expert, but a real one from the private sector explained how Google returned false results on the word, Jihad, in order to deflect from its de facto and de jure meanings of attacks for the supremacy of Islam to some kind of inner reflection for self betterment like a Buddhist or something. Buddhists who of course, are frequent victims of actual jihad along with statuary of same. That was several years ago. Searching for it on our history, I have found likely a hundred other articles or videos on Google’s applied bias and all the same way. here is a fun one from an actual engineer at Google.
And the Google CEO says they aren’t going to change
The first internal comms on Gemini from Sundar
From: Sundar Pichai To: Google
"Hi everyone
I want to address the recent issues with problematic text and image responses in the Gemini app (formerly Bard). I know that some of its responses have offended our users and shown bias…
I listened to a comic talking about his wife. It started like the title. We were on the beach getting fucked up and his wife said they needed to do something. His response was we are doing something, we’re getting fucked up on the beach. Nothing is something if you want to relax, only not for extroverts.
I have a family that can’t sit still. Going on vacation is a relay race of the next thing to do which for an introvert, results in me burning my candle to a nub and running out of social battery. Just the planning alone, which consists of a ton of stuff that will never happen just to go through every option. It is mentally exhausting. I’m toast before it even starts. When none of the plans might get done, I’m already burnt and nothing has even started. It gets these extroverts wound up with excitement and inevitably leads to disappointment as it rarely meets expectations. Then there is the discussion afterwards as to why it wasn’t as great as the plans. It was the build up of unrealistic expectations.
I want to get away and not have to do something, all the damn time. When it is over the way they do it, I need a vacation from taking a vacation.
If I can relax, I always meet my expectations and am almost always recharged, what a vacation should be. It meets my expectations when I do it their way also, I’m burnt out before it begins.
Now, this:
The pendulum is swinging away from jam-packed trips and Instagram-worthy adventures and toward vacations with little to write home about beyond a pretty sunset and a cold drink.
More vacationers say they want a true break to rest and recharge during their time off. Their do-nothing vacations have no schedule. These aren’t beach trips that involve surfing or kayaking, or foodie tours requiring hours of research—and decision fatigue.
“Rest and relaxation” jumped ahead of having “a fun time” and spending “time with immediate family” as the main motivator for leisure travel, according to a nationally representative February survey of 1,000 U.S. travelers from Longwoods International, a market-research firm. Rest and relaxation rose to 21% from 17% between the September and February surveys.
All-inclusive resorts are helping travelers meet this need. Bookings for Apple Leisure Group all-inclusive properties in the Americas, which include Secrets resorts and spas, are up 11% thus far in the first quarter of 2024 compared with the same period last year, a Hyatt spokesman said. Hyatt is the parent company of Apple Leisure Group.
Ketanji Brown Jackson and Elena Kagan repeatedly insisted bump stock-equipped guns can fire up to 800 rounds a second. That’s false.
The U.S. Supreme Court convened on Wednesday for oral arguments about whether the federal government was right to ban bump stocks on claims the assistive casing transforms semiautomatic rifles into machine guns.
The justices normally would use their questioning time to evaluate whether bump stocks qualify as “any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger,” as defined in the 1934 National Firearms Act and Gun Control Act, which prohibits any device that results “in converting a weapon into a machinegun.”
And with the obnoxious valley girl "WHAT EVER" Jackson shows her disdain for our CONSTITUTION and for KNOWING anything about the topic at hand. Twice, she says that bump stocks shoot 800 rounds/sec. And NO ONE corrects her. Does she even know what a woman is yet? MORON! pic.twitter.com/sFmfLMIVZS

Instead, oral arguments for Garland v. Cargillquickly devolved into confusing hypotheticals and debates that stemmed from justices’ incredibly limited understanding of how guns work.
After Michael Jordan, UNC-CH becomes pretty useless now.
I lived near Chapel Hill long enough to know what a huge bunch of liberals were there. They consistently were against the USA, things morally right, God, freedom and pretty much anything else good. I’d avoid that part of town and was glad when I moved away. There is a reason their color is blue and it’s not the Carolina sky. It’s how liberal they are.
The Supreme Court recently ruled against them for being racist on admissions
Of course, they are against free speech and take the side of the Palestinian terrorists who raped and tortured on October 7th.
I count on them being on the wrong side of everything so go against what they believe to be right.
They aren’t even that great in basketball anymore.
The Speech First complaint, obtained by the Washington Examiner, was filed with the UNC Board of Trustees and comes after the group shouted down journalist Bari Weiss, who was invited to campus for the Abbey Speaker Series to talk about “objectivity in journalism.”
“If the Board of Trustees takes UNC’s free speech policies seriously they will urge the campus to enforce them. Up to this point, UNC has rewarded the SJP chapter by giving them exactly what they wanted — letting them carry out a heckler’s veto by shouting down a speaker, violating UNC policy and state law, and then walking out,” Cherise Trump, executive director at Speech First, told the Washington Examiner. “UNC is doing nothing to deter them from doing this again.”
“It’s pretty simple. The SJP chapter violated state and campus policies. Therefore, they should lose club status,” she added.
Campus security removed the obstructing anti-Israel dumbs, who disrupted Weiss because of her “attempt to conflate anti-Zionism and antisemitism.”
Speech First wants to know why UNC did not discipline the students despite breaking school policy.
This brings me to the hidden war currently underway against male testosterone development as part of the Woke Mind Virus’ fight against ‘Toxic Masculinity.’
The Medical Health & Dietary “Experts” Have Been Lying To You For Decades About Why Male T Levels Have Dramatically Dropped – They Know EXACTLY What’s Causing It
For more than 40 years of my life, I recall seeing plenty of popular culture coverage in the news media and health/bodybuilding magazines discussing the curious downward trend of male testosterone levels.
The trend of dropping male testosterone levels first began to be noticed in the 1960s.
I have a relative I nicknamed flounder who admitted he’s so fat that he produces estrogen. That’s a hint and a half for your ass that you should hit the gym and put down the fork and wine glass and do something about it.
Food is turning men into pussies. The feminists hate “toxic masculinity”, but I’ve got news for you, the world needs it, deep down even the feminists love a real man, even if they can’t admit it. They are drawn to it no matter how much they hate it.
We’d better man up or life is going to suck for us if we have to defend ourselves or continue leading the world in anything.
I’ve got news for you, if you discriminate based on ANY COLOR of skin, you’re racist.
My black friends tell me that black people discriminate against other blacks if they are too dark, or if they won the light skin gene pool contest like Megan Markle. That’s racism just within the black community against each other..
If you’re in a bad situation, stop doing things that will prolong or worsen it.
I used the French version which goes like this, you can stop rowing, you’re on the beach. It translates literally to you are attacking the cliff, but it’s a colloquialism.
Color us not surprised, but another one of the Biden administration’s “visions” for forcing people to own electric vehicles isn’t working out exactly as planned.
This time it deals with supply chain logistics, with Bloomberg reporting this week that in the year and a half since passing the Inflation Reduction Act, automakers are finding out the hard way that the rigorous criteria for manufacturing batteries using materials from the United States and its free-trade allies could render them cost-inefficient compared to global competitors.
Companies like Tesla are instead taking advantage of a temporary shift in the rules to stock up with cheaper batteries from countries like China.
The Biden administration’s new rules will all but cut out China from the supply chain, however, which will make it tougher to find affordable metal suppliers.
This, in turn, will threaten President Biden’s goal to boost the domestic electric vehicle market. Bloomberg writes that mining companies and labor unions insist that without curtailing the influx of cheaper, Chinese-subsidized materials, the U.S. can’t develop a competitive EV market.
Meanwhile, the higher costs are driving automakers away from EVs. And as battery material requirements are set to double by 2027, fulfilling these mandates will be increasingly difficult, putting Biden’s ambitious EV strategy at risk.
Mercedes-Benz on Thursday walked back plans to have an all-electric line-up by 2030 as consumers decline to adopt electric vehicles (EV) at the rate automakers expected.
The company has changed its expectations to have only 50% of its sales be EVs by 2030, announcing that it will be updating its current line-up featuring the internal combustion engine into the next decade, according to Mercedes-Benz in its fourth quarter report. EV sales grew 21% year-over-year in 2023, but total car sales remained relatively the same, bucking hopes that EVs would fuel growth as the automaker pushes electric models.
Give me a deep throated V-8 or the scream of a V-12 ICE any day.
I worked in this industry and it’s been one lie after another since it began
The CDC report has revealed that almost 500,000 Americans aged between 0 and 44 years old died from the dangerous side effects of the Covid mRNA injections between the start of the public rollout of the shots in early 2021 and October 9, 2022.
However, the shocking revelations from the report have been completely ignored by the corporate media – the same outlets that told the public the vaccines were “safe and effective.”
Compared to other countries, the U.S. Government has been slow to publish relevant and up-to-date data to allow the public to analyze the consequences of rolling out the Covid injections.
There is a little craziness happening in Iowa and with University of Iowa basketball star, Caitlin Clark. She just set the NCAA all-time women’s scoring record and can make even more history this season by passing Hall of Famer Pete Maravich of LSU for the all-time NCAA scoring record set in 1970. With two games remaining in the season, Miss Clark averaging ~30 points a game and just needs 51 points to break Pistol Pete’s record that he set during his three seasons in Baton Rouge.
But the leftist media’s treatment of Caitlin Clark shows just how corrupt the compromised media really is.
The mainstream media avoids reporting that the Hawkeyes guard overtook the previous NCAA all-time women’s scoring record holder, Kelsey Plum, in 13 fewer career games, while taking fewer shots. Or that Caitlin Clark’s deep three-point shot, showmanship and competitive intensity have sold out “never-before-sold-out” college arenas, where seats go for hundreds of dollars, and have broken TV viewership records. For a women’s college basketball game.
The mainstream media purposely avoids the point that Caitlin Clark is doing something no one in the history of women’s basketball has ever done. She is selling out arenas everywhere she goes and is responsible for the biggest television ratings in women’s basketball history. Isn’t that newsworthy? Of course, it is.
So, what is the problem?
The media’s problem with Caitlin Clark is that she is White and apparently Black women basketball players resent the accolades and attention the six-footer is getting. The WNBA can’t fill their stadiums. And the haters in the media and the WNBA are all over it.
More at the link above.
No one has given a shit about the WNBA since it started. You couldn’t tell the difference in the crowd size before, during or after Covid.
Blacks think they own the sport, and for the most part they dominate it in sheer numbers. But let a Larry Bird, Pete Maravich or Caitlin Clark show up and you think it was an affront to their personal space.
The WNBA should be grateful Clark is about to fill up their stands next year when she goes pro.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he wants to modify the city’s sanctuary law to allow authorities to turn over illegal immigrants who commit crimes to ICE.
It’s sort of hard to hear him, but from what I could tell, Adams told someone that the law should say that if you commit a felony or violent act, then the authorities should be allowed to hand you over to ICE and be deported.
I wonder if it will happen. Because, you know, no one ever saw what would happen if you became a sanctuary city (sarcasm)!
New York City has received thousands of illegal immigrants from Texas and Arizona, but many have gone there on their own. People at the border have told reporters they had plans to go to NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia, and other blue cities.
The crime has gone up to the point where Adams implemented curfews at migrant shelters.
Adams even had to reassure Harlem residents that the city wouldn’t use empty luxury apartment buildings to house illegal immigrants.
Let’s not forget the outrage from parents when the city decided to use a Brooklyn school to house illegal immigrants, forcing the students to go remote.
The full story is that testosterone isn’t just for puberty. Testosterone differences between people with XX and XY chromosomes start in the womb and continue during the first half-year of life. These differences are associated with cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and body composition dissimilarities that may affect how each plays sport in later life.
Perhaps a more complete understanding of testosterone’s influence from the womb will help resolve some points of contention in the Trans conversation.
Testosterone levels can be affected by social, economic, and biological factors in an individual’s life. To eliminate such variables, Patel studied twins in utero. In particular, he compared opposite-sex and same-sex twins…
Based on Patel’s research of twins, males who had higher levels of testosterone available to them in the womb are more likely to go on to be self-employed.
They are also more likely to play full contact sports like rugby or football and to work in financial services careers. In general, more testosterone is associated with lower levels of risk aversion, so people with more testosterone may take more risks. (Emphasis added.)
Nice huh? WTF have we come to to get this headline?
Katelyn McGraw is currently incarcerated in Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Kenosha, Wisconsin, serving a sentence for possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping. She’s been at Taycheedah since the end of summer 2023, records show, and her fiancee says that she’ll soon be sent to a minimum security prison.
Recently she began sending distressed messages to her fiancee, Raymond Slater II, describing a transgender prisoner named “Mark Campbell” with whom she shares both a cell and a bunkbed. McGraw expressed extreme anxiety as she described her cellmate’s constant masturbating, sexual comments, and aggressive behavior, and she asked her fiancee to find out what exactly got Campbell locked up.
Harvard has a plagiarism problem. At the beginning of the year, Claudine Gay resigned as university president following a plagiarism scandal. Weeks later, the Washington Free Beacon published a report indicating that Harvard’s chief diversity officer, Sherri Ann Charleston, apparently plagiarized passages in multiple academic papers.
Now allegations have emerged that another Harvard DEI administrator, Shirley Greene, of Harvard Extension School, plagiarized more than 40 passages of her 2008 dissertation, “Converging Frameworks: Examining the Impact of Diversity-Related College Experiences on Racial/Ethnic Identity Development.” According to the Harvard directory, Greene is a Title IX coordinator affiliated with the Office for Gender Equity. She has worked to advance “Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging,” and hosted a panel on “The Past, Present, and Future of Juneteenth” in conjunction with the DEI department. (Harvard did not respond to an emailed request for comment.)
Once again, parents are wasting their money sending kids to this Ivy League Country Club for cheaters
Before the story, this line that says it all: “Overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrates male-female performance differences exist from the earliest stages,” the letter adds.
The Independent Council on Women’s Sports sent a letter to the Liberty League, an intercollegiate athletic conference in New York, demanding that the league adopt new rules to protect fairness for female athletes as a male set school records in women’s track.
ICONS—a network and advocacy group that spans all levels of sport and includes Olympians, professional athletes, collegiate and high school athletes, parents, coaches, and administrators—sent the letter Wednesday ahead of the Liberty League Championships at St. Lawrence University on Feb. 23 and 24. ICONS gave a copy of the letter to The Daily Signal exclusively after sending it Wednesday.
The letter notes that a biological male at the Rochester Institute of Technology who identifies as female and goes by the name “Sadie Rose” has competed in women’s track events, setting school records in the 200-meter, 300-meter, and 400-meter races. Last month, the Liberty League bestowed the honor of its Women’s Track and Field Performer of the Week on Rose.
“Currently ranked first in the women’s 200-meter and second in the 400-meter for the Liberty League Conference, this male athlete is almost certain to take multiple awards, podium spots, and advancement opportunities from female athletes this weekend,” the ICONS letter warns. “It is your responsibility to stop disregarding the rights of your female athletes and speak up to insist on fair competition.”
“Overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrates male-female performance differences exist from the earliest stages,” the letter adds.
Where are the females on this? They are letting their “sports” get ruined. There will only be men’s and open categories if they don’t stand up for their rights. Oh, they stood up for equal pay, but now guys are going to enter and kick ass, every time. Men are going to get the money back
I mostly don’t watch girls sports because they aren’t that good. I’ll give Caitlin Clark a pass as she’s the female Pete Maravich.
I’ll also watch Katy Ledecky who is good, yet even she is minutes behind the men’s times in her sport. I just like to see how much she’s going to kick ass when she swims.
People like Megan Rapinoe have ruined girls soccer so I can’t stomach that.
At the end of the day, woke ruins everything it touches
Upon taking office as mayor of Chicago after landslide victory in 2019, Lori Lightfoot said, “I know we’re just a little bit closer to that dream as I stand here today, inaugurated as Chicago’s first black woman and first openly gay mayor. I know we’re a little bit closer as we celebrate that, for the first time in the history of Chicago, women of color now hold all three of our citywide elected offices.
Four years later, when she couldn’t make it out of the Democrat primary, she blamed racism and sexism. Democrats nominated a black man.
The media promoted women candidates — especially the women of color — as being inherently superior to men. Let’s see how that worked out.
NBC reported on February 27, 2020, “Former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison for a children’s book scam that funneled money into her personal accounts and campaign coffers.
“Pugh, 69, will also have to serve three years of supervised release once she’s out of prison, according to the sentence handed down by U.S. District Judge Deborah K. Chasanow.
“The disgraced former mayor was also ordered to pay $411,948 in restitution and to forfeit $669,688, including property in Baltimore and $17,800 from her Committee to Re-elect Catherine Pugh.”
She took over as mayor from Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, whose biggest achievement (if you want to call it that) was to order police to stand down as rioters burned cars and looted stores, saying “we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well.”
Nikki Haley cheated on her husband and no one says anything about it, yet a fake accusation by a woman who claimed everyone abused her has Trump charged with hurting her feelings.
Let’s not forget Elizabeth Theranos, who sits in jail for fraud to the tune of 11 billion.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WJW) — A Florida man is reportedly healing after a horrific amount of bugs were pulled from his nasal and sinus passages earlier this month.
“Over a couple hours my face just started swelling, my lips swelled, I could hardly talk,” the patient told WTLV in Florida. “My whole face felt like it was on fire.”
The patient, who was not identified, went to a nearby hospital for constant nose bleeds and pain, according to the TV station. What the ear nose and throat doctor on call found by looking inside the man’s nose, was like something out of a scary movie: dozens of live larva feeding on his inside face cavities. Maggots rain down on Delta passengers, plane forced to turn around
“They were right up against his skull base, right under the brain,” Dr. David Carlson told WTLV. “Had they gone through that it could have killed him.”
Some of the bugs were reportedly as large as the tip of a pinky finger. About 150 of them were removed using a variety of instruments. The larva was then sent to a lab for testing.
Carlson made clear he’d never heard of anything like this occurring before in humans, and that people with normal immune systems would fight what’s known as Nasal Myiasis off naturally. He also said to always wash your hands after coming in contact with a dirty environment.
I for one am glad. I’m old enough that most of my fucking up in life was before the internet and only I really know the story of my misdeeds and untoward activity.
A lot of people say stupid shit online, or brag about stuff they shouldn’t to show off or get likes. Until now, the internet was forever. It may still be if you search hard enough, but Google is evil and presents the worst of behavior easily. Now, the idiots may be protected.
Google will no longer be keeping a backup of the entire Internet. Google Search’s “cached” links have long been an alternative way to load a website that was down or had changed, but now the company is killing them off. Google “Search Liaison” Danny Sullivan confirmed the feature removal in an X post, saying the feature “was meant for helping people access pages when way back, you often couldn’t depend on a page loading. These days, things have greatly improved. So, it was decided to retire it.”
The feature has been appearing and disappearing for some people since December, and currently, we don’t see any cache links in Google Search. For now, you can still build your own cache links even without the button, just by going to “https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:” plus a website URL, or by typing “cache:” plus a URL into Google Search. For now, the cached version of Ars Technica seems to still work. All of Google’s support pages about cached sites have been taken down.
Cached links used to live under the drop-down menu next to every search result on Google’s page. As the Google web crawler scoured the Internet for new and updated webpages, it would also save a copy of whatever it was seeing. That quickly led to Google having a backup of basically the entire Internet, using what was probably an uncountable number of petabytes of data. Google is in the era of cost savings now, so assuming Google can just start deleting cache data, it can probably free up a lot of resources.
Cached links were great if the website was down or quickly changed, but they also gave some insight over the years about how the “Google Bot” web crawler views the web. The pages aren’t necessarily rendered like how you would expect. In the past, pages were text-only, but slowly the Google Bot learned about media and other rich data like javascript (there are a ton of specialized Google Bots now). A lot of Google Bot details are shrouded in secrecy to hide from SEO spammers, but you could learn a lot by investigating what cached pages look like. In 2020, Google switched to mobile-by-default, so for instance, if you visit that cached Ars link from earlier, you get the mobile site. If you run a website and want to learn more about what a site looks like to a Google Bot, you can still do that, though only for your own site, from the Search Console.

In these darkest days, we-the-people find ourselves subjected to increasing existential dread: On every level, we are bombarded with more and more attempts to deceive, subjugate, hack, coerce, stymie and suppress us through mind-manipulating, soul-destroying, brutal controlling systems…
All done under the ruling thumb of the tiny handfuls; the global cult dark overlords and their associates for complete worldwide domination.
However, in the midst of this onslaught, it’s easier to see the light when dragged through a dark tunnel: It’s all too easy to forget that unequivocally, there’s an ongoing exponentially increasing worldwide awakening.
Having got the profound realization that they’ve been stitched up, a swathe of these awakened human spirits, duty-bound, are sharing their enlightenment with others…
Google just can’t hide how woke they are. They promote as much diversity as they can, and that’s not a good thing. Their latest AI, Gemini produces diverse images that have nothing to do with reality, and everything to do with an agenda.
Google’s highly-touted AI chatbot Gemini was blasted as “woke” after its image generator spit out factually or historically inaccurate pictures — including a woman as pope, black Vikings, female NHL players and “diverse” versions of America’s Founding Fathers.
Gemini’s bizarre results came after simple prompts, including one by The Post on Wednesday that asked the software to “create an image of a pope.”
Instead of yielding a photo of one of the 266 pontiffs throughout history — all of them white men — Gemini provided pictures of a Southeast Asian woman and a black man wearing holy vestments.
Another Post query for representative images of “the Founding Fathers in 1789″ was also far from reality.
Gemini responded with images of black and Native American individuals signing what appeared to be a version of the US Constitution — “featuring diverse individuals embodying the spirit” of the Founding Fathers.
OK I assumed people were exaggerating with this stuff but here's the first image request I tried with Gemini. pic.twitter.com/Oipcn96wMh
Users report that the program’s artificial intelligence image search has a ‘woke’ bias baked in, to the point where it severely limits the display of images of white people.
One person searched for typical images of Australians, Americans, Germans and Brits and was given this in response.
It's embarrassingly hard to get Google Gemini to acknowledge that white people exist pic.twitter.com/4lkhD7p5nR
Just like the bonkers lefties who are programming it.
Before getting to the main story, which might strike you as just a bit of silliness, let’s establish the context: Google is all-in on “combating misinformation,” which is code for “suppressing rightwing critiques of the leftwing agenda,” and routinely uses its AI to search for Forbidden Words, like “excess mortality” or “open borders,” to reduce the visibility of anyone saying those words, and demonetize them, and even deplatform them completely.
Note that term is a Millennial/Gen X/Gen Y loser term. Life has a way of circling back on your choices and decisions. You may think you are only living once, but you are only living for the moment.
Actions have consequences and so do bad credit decisions….read on.
A growing percentage of Americans are becoming reckless with their spending, fueling what one economist calls a “super duper” credit bubble.
In a note to clients, economist David Rosenberg of Rosenberg Research warned that Americans are taking on too much debt to buy things they really don’t need. He calls these people “YOLO spenders,” which refers to the catchphrase, “You only live once.”
“There is no acknowledgment today that, yet again, we have a super-duper credit bubble on our hands,” Rosenberg wrote. “It isn’t just about fiscal recklessness at the government level; the dilemma is that the consumer commands a dominant 70% share of the economy.”
For starters, more Americans are falling behind on their credit card payments. According to Rosenberg, one in every 12 credit card holders is in this predicament.
The last time delinquency was this high was in 2011, when unemployment was 9%. The national unemployment rate currently stands at 3.7%, among the lowest in history.
“As far as consumer credit is concerned, the default cycle isn’t merely looming. It’s arrived,” he warned.
Blacks, women and greens discover the party used them like Kleenex
In a totalitarian government, everyone is a Kleenex. Once you serve your purpose, you are disposable. Oh, the ruler may keep you around for a while, but sooner or later, everyone gets thrown away.
Democrats are showing their supporters just how disposable they are. In recent weeks, Biden has betrayed black people, women and others.
Let’s start with black people who provide one-fourth of the votes Democrats receive. That’s a lot of votes and a lot of clout. For decades, Democrats took them for granted but about 20 years ago, Democrats adopted a DEI strategy that has led to a surge of black mayors across the country and of course, Barack Obama.
All was good except Democrats sought to expand their base by opening the borders to gangbangers, drug cartels, Red China’s spies, terrorists and a few people seeking freedom and welfare. Democrats worked to let them in and sign them up.
Another group tossed overboard are women. Having cornered the market on feminists, Democrats and their LGBT subsidiary now are shunning them, dismissing them as TERFs, subhumans with a bonus hole instead of a vagina, and birthing persons instead of moms. Justice KJB refused to define a woman for fear of LGBT backlash.
Democrats now shun celebrities who dare speak out for women’s rights. Out magazine chastised Martina Navratilova for opposing having men compete in girls sports — 40 years after she dared to come out as a lesbian.
If they act like this and are this selfish, you need to run. Run quickly and far away and never look back. If they are going to act this crazy, your life is not worth being ruined. I’ve been around long enough to know the red flags. These types of girls are waving an armful of them.
There is more, so much more at the link above. Life is too short for this kind of shit in a relationship. I promise there are a lot of girls out there not this crazy.
A group of almost a dozen attorneys general across the United States have sent a letter to the Biden administration warning that DEI hiring practices within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are putting airline passengers in danger.
“We are troubled by some recent reports regarding your agency’s hiring practices and priorities,” Kansas Republican AG Kris Kobach and 10 other attorneys general wrote to FAA Administrator Michael Whitaker. “It seems that the FAA has placed ‘diversity’ bean counting over safety and expertise, and we worry that such misordered priorities could be catastrophic for American travelers.”
According to the letter, the FAA under the Biden administration “appears to prioritize virtue-signaling ‘diversity’ efforts over aviation expertise” and “this calls into question the agency’s commitment to safety.”
Kobach and the other attorneys general allege that the FAA is no longer focusing on merit when hiring employees and has instead put its focus on diversity and pointed to statements made by the FAA related to a “five year strategic plan” to “diversify its workforce by rethinking its hiring practices and capitalize on opportunities to hire people who will bring new and diverse skills to the agency and reflect the demographics of the U.S. labor force.”
“These efforts follow on work that reportedly started under the Obama Administration when the agency shockingly sought out applicants with ‘severe intellectual’ and ‘psychiatric’ disabilities to staff the agency responsible for air traffic control, aviation safety, major airports, commercial space regulation, and security and hazardous materials safety,” the letter states.
Four bolts were missing from a door panel that blew out of an Alaska Airlines flight last month while the Boeing 737 Max 9 plane was flying over Oregon, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board.
The bolts are there to prevent the non-operational panel, known as a door plug, from moving upward, the NTSB said. But last year, before the plane was delivered to Alaska Airlines, the door panel had to be opened and four bolts removed at Boeing’s Renton, Wash., factory to replace damaged rivets nearby, the report says.
As part of the investigation, the agency found that the “absence of contact damage or deformation” around holes associated with vertical movement bolts indicates that four bolts of the door panel were missing before the panel moved up off the stop pads, according to the report.
It’s unclear why the bolts were missing. Records show that the rivets were replaced, but photos obtained from Boeing Co. by the NTSB show that the door panel was put back without bolts in three visible locations. The fourth location is obscured in the photo by insulation, the NTSB said.
On the day she was named the first Black and first openly gay White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre said she hoped her appointment might inspire other people who, like her, never imagined occupying the pre-eminent role in political communications.
“I think this is important for them to see this,” she said in May 2022.
Americans are seeing less of her lately.
Since the Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7, Ms. Jean-Pierre has yielded the spotlight to a lower-ranking official, John F. Kirby. For months, Mr. Kirby has regularly co-hosted her daily briefings, often fielding more questions from journalists than she does, and appeared more frequently on major political news programs as the administration’s spokesperson.
Bump her down to the ultra left where she is qualified to speak and let the white guy handle the real issues….
Administration officials emphasized that Ms. Jean-Pierre appeared in a variety of media outlets, including regional TV stations, Black- and Latino-focused platforms, print magazines and talk shows like “The View.”
She wasn’t qualified to do the job, rather she checked the diversity boxes and it shows. In reality, no one cares if you are gay, black, or female, just do the job. The fail is in though so they got Kirby to handle it while they sweep her under the rug, except in name and position to appease the leftards.
Woke ruins everything it touches, like the White House Press Corps.
Of course it does. None of this is a surprise. The only real surprise is that people behind the jab aren’t in jail yet or are being charged with murder, but here goes.
Vaccines that protect against severe illness, death and lingering long Covid symptoms from a coronavirus infection were linked to small increases in neurological, blood, and heart-related conditions in the largest global vaccine safety study to date.
The rare events — identified early in the pandemic — included a higher risk of heart-related inflammation from mRNA shots made by Pfizer Inc., BioNTech SE, and Moderna Inc., and an increased risk of a type of blood clot in the brain after immunization with viral-vector vaccines such as the one developed by the University of Oxford and made by AstraZeneca Plc.
The viral-vector jabs were also tied to an increased risk of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a neurological disorder in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the peripheral nervous system.
More than 13.5 billion doses of Covid vaccines have been administered globally over the past three years, saving over 1 million lives in Europe alone. Still, a small proportion of people immunized were injured by the shots, stoking debate about their benefits versus harms.
The new research, by the Global Vaccine Data Network, was published in the journal Vaccine last week, with the data made available via interactive dashboards to show methodology and specific findings.
The research looked for 13 medical conditions that the group considered “adverse events of special interest” among 99 million vaccinated individuals in eight countries, aiming to identify higher-than-expected cases after a Covid shot. The use of aggregated data increased the possibility of identifying rare safety signals that might have been missed when looking only at smaller populations.
A transgender inmate serving a 55-year sentence for strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death filed a civil lawsuit against the prison chaplain for allegedly prohibiting him from wearing a hijab outside his immediate bed quarters, despite identifying as a Muslim woman. He ticked the box of two of the Democrats’ most special privileged classes deemed above the law and civilized society.
Watch this space for a multi-million dollar settlement.
At the end of the day, not a girl, but just as crazy and wants to be one.

In related news, famed Sopranos creator David Chase proclaims the Golden Age of TV to be over as writers like him are told to “dumb it down”
Twenty-five years ago, the first episode of “The Sopranos” premiered on HBO, marking the beginning of a six-season run repeatedly dubbed one of the greatest television series ever.
Now, the show’s creator, David Chase, warns that the golden age of TV — that has seen series such as “The Wire” and “Breaking Bad” — may be over as smart shows face an existential threat.
In an interview with The Times, Chase provided a somber reflection on the 25th anniversary of his show, describing the era as a “25-year blip” and lamenting that he feels “increasingly bad” for talented people today.
“The Sopranos” creator expressed concerns about how streaming platforms are reverting to the old days when cable television ran ads that interfered with an episode. One of HBO‘s unique offerings as a subscription service at the time was allowing hourlong episodes of “The Sopranos” to run ad-free, giving a television show a cinematic quality.
“We’re going back to where I was,” Chase told The Times. “They’re going to have commercials.”
He added that he has also been told, as a writer, to “dumb it down.” [Business Insider]
Ann Coulter said that the longer they keep this silent, the less likely it’s a Caucasian male. Looks like she was right. In other words, the MSM is still on agenda.
Led by an elderly man experiencing cognitive decline, the Biden administration has launched a strident effort to promote electric vehicle (E.V.) sales. This push is part of a globalist climate change agenda that ignores the unreliability of renewable energy during winter storms and heat waves. The unreliability of green energy sources was illustrated by the 2021 winter storm in Texas, which paralyzed the state’s wind energy system — the second largest energy source — leaving some Texans unable to flush their toilets or power their electric vehicles. Now E.V. sales, for a variety of reasons, are deservedly losing momentum among U.S. buyers.
The decline in sales persists despite three critical factors favoring non–fossil fuel energy generation: (1) the world’s rising investment of billions of dollars in E.V. technology; (2) rising tailpipe emissions regulations; (3) apocalyptic claims tied to climate change that are part of the Western world’s war on fossil fuels, gas stoves, and homes heated by natural gas. While American electric vehicle sales rose rapidly during the first eleven months of 2023, they plateaued in November.
In other words, even though E.V. sales initially cannibalized the market for gas and diesel vehicles during 2022 and 2023 as financial analysts promoted exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in E.V.s as part of an investment scheme to transform both the economy and energy production, these speculative chickens have now come home to roost.
Two statistics highlight this outcome. First, the empirical evidence shows that luxury E.V.s depreciate faster than vehicles powered by internal combustion engines. Second, Ford Motor Company recently revealed that it incurred a loss of $4.7 billion on its electric vehicles.
Harvard economics Professor Roland Fryer needed armed security with him to go out in public after he published a study finding no evidence of racial bias in officer-involved shootings, he said in an interview with The Free Press founder Bari Weiss.
Fryer, a top economist who became the youngest tenured black professor in Harvard’s history at just 30 years old, published a study in 2016 showing there was “no racial differences in officer involved-shootings.” After he published the study, “all hell broke loose,” Fryer told Weiss, noting people “lose their mind when they don’t like the result.”
“I lived under police protection for about 30 to 40 days,” he said during the interview. “I had a seven day old daughter at the time…I was going to the grocery store to get diapers with an armed guard.”
Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The lesson plan has one local father speaking out, calling it “educational malpractice.”
As part of the Black Lives Matter at School Week, World Literature and Composition students at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy,” according to the father of a student. Given the subject matter of the class, the father found it odd this particular lesson was brought up.
The Seattle high schoolers were told that “Worship of the Written Word” is white supremacy because it is “an erasure of the wide range of ways we communicate with each other.” By this definition, the very subject of World Literature and Composition is racist. It also chides the idea that we hyper-value written communication because it’s a form of “honoring only what is written and even then only what is written to a narrow standard, full of misinformation and lies.” The worksheet does not provide any context for what it actually means.
It’s just the new Godwin’s law to name everything that doesn’t go your way racist or white supremacy. Obviously nonsense. Grow up and join life. You can lie to yourself, but not the rest of the world. BLM ruins everything it touches.
Woke, Meet Broke: Miami Book Shop That Infamously Chased Out a Fox News Journo Is Now Closing Its Doors
Look, I am not automatically inclined to tell a business owner how to run their operation. It is their money, their venture— run things as you see fit. If anything, I have encouraged this brand of self-reliance. Often, when leftist activists command that a business cater to a particular group or forcibly demand particular levels of inclusion, I have stated that if they feel that strongly about this being a viable plan, then they should back their thoughts with their own cash and sweat equity and go for it.
Such is the case with the rather Bohemian-themed business in Miami, Paradis Books, which opened in 2021. This was a bookshop and wine emporium that served food and encouraged a communal setting with an avowed left-leaning flair to it. Notice the past tense use there? This is because the shop has just announced they are closing down after some internal struggles and a particularly tumultuous year in business.
We girls in the Cascade Bridge Club listened incredulously as Marge told us that her daughter, Esmeralda, had just shed her bigtime Assistant Manager job in some e-commerce corporation and had gone home to “have babies and make a home for my husband and my children!” “Why?!” we asked. Marge explained, “She says she is finally happy, that this is what she has always wanted to do, and that she was deceived into a career!” Stunned, we mumbled at each other, “Esmeralda has joined the tradwives? What’s going on?”
At this point in the development of the Elites’ plot to rule the planet, we understand the essence of their strategy is to make us all dependent upon them. As Cheryl Chumley points out, this means destroying all existing economic and cultural institutions, including food production, so the slate is clean for the Masters to scribble on.
The war against the family, therefore, is so central to the strategy of the Elite Masters that they campaign against the family on four fronts:
Promote sexual libertarianism to tempt men with affairs.
Promote feminism to tempt women away from their maternal and family instincts.
Promote transgenderism to confuse the children.
Promote no-fault divorce to eliminate the institution of marriage itself.
Of course it from the left. Part of the communist manifesto is to destroy the family and make people dependent on the state. It’s the same equation to get rid of God. It’s been the same throughout history, people doing anything they can for power.
It’s as bad as it sounds. It’s how women ruin marriages. 70% of divorces are initiated by the wife and here we have one that has to tell the world how crazy she is. I pity the husband. But seriously, do you have to tell the world because you are the irresponsible one who set out to ruin things?
In the summer of 2022,I lost my mind. At first, it seemed I was simply overwhelmed because life had become very difficult, and I needed to — had every right to — blow off some steam. Our family was losing its apartment and had to find another one, fast, in a rental market gone so wild that people were offering over the asking price on rent. My husband, Keith, was preparing to publish a book, Raising Raffi, about our son, a book he’d written with my support and permission but that, as publication loomed, I began to have mixed feelings about. To cope with the stress, I asked my psychiatrist to increase the dosage of the antidepressant I’d been on for years. Sometime around then, I started talking too fast and drinking a lot.
I felt invincibly alive, powerful, and self-assured, troubled only by impatience with how slowly everyone around me was moving and thinking. Drinking felt necessary because it slightly calmed my racing brain. Some days, I’d have drinks with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which I ate at restaurants so the drink order didn’t seem too unusual. Who doesn’t have an Aperol spritz on the way home from the gym in the morning?
These people are conniving and evil. They made up the whole thing that they committed and lied about Trump. I don’t even wonder about justice because there are two sets of rules, one for politicians and one for the rest of the country.
Also, where was the media on this? In collusion or under instructions from the CIA.
“Former CIA Director John Brennan identified and presented the targets to the US’s intelligence-sharing partners in the so-called Five Eyes agencies — the intelligence-gathering organizations in the U.S., United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand — according to a report published Monday on Michael Shellenberger’s Public Substack.”
Here goes…..
There are people in the replies suggesting that "we already knew this."
No, we didn't. And no, you didn't. Only a tiny number of people knew about this until now.
And, as we note in our story, "If the top-secret documents exist proving these charges, they are potentially…
The U.S. government said in January 2017 that Russia favored Trump as president. But now, sources reveal for the first time that the CIA “cooked the intelligence” to hide that Vladamir Putin wanted Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump, as president.
CIA “Cooked The Intelligence” To Hide That Russia Favored Clinton, Not Trump In 2016, Sources Say
The Russians didn’t fear a Hillary Clinton presidency. “It was a relationship they were comfortable with,” CIA analysts believed
It was all a lie.
The Trump-Russia scandal made its formal launch on January 6th, 2017, when the office of the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper published what’s called an “Intelligence Community Assessment,” or “ICA,” as it’s universally known in Washington.
Release of the ICA dominated headlines, fixed Donald Trump in the minds of millions of Americans as a Manchurian candidate controlled by Vladamir Putin, and upended his in-coming administration.
The report declared that Russia and Putin interfered in the 2016 presidential election to “denigrate” Hillary Clinton and “harm her electability,” thanks to their “clear preference for President-elect [Donald] Trump.”
It was powerful stuff. And it was dead wrong.
“They cooked the intelligence,” says a source close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia scandal, whose full findings are being blocked from release. “They made it look like Putin supported Trump,” the source added. “The evidence points the other way.”
So, not only did Obama use the FBI spy on Donald Trump, but Obama through his henchman Brennan, leaned on foreign governments across the world to dig up dirt on The Donald. This makes Watergate — a failed attempt to have amateurs spy on the head of the DNC — look like the molehill it was.
The use of the intelligence agencies of the Anglosphere to try to tilt the election — and to cover up the FBI’s spying on Trump and 26 associates — is the scandal of the century as it obliterates the whole Russian Hoax and gives reason to believe that if they got away with using the FBI as Obama’s NKVD, then they had no reason to believe they could not get away with fixing the 2020 election.
Kelce’s performance, in fact, produced such awkwardness that one local network cut away to a shot of the crowd.
Sometimes one must wonder if certain famous people, on some deep psychological level, recognize their own hopeless insignificance. Otherwise, why would they engage in cringe-worthy public behavior that shows respect neither for themselves nor for others? Why would they knock the pedestal out from beneath their own feet?
Such questions occurred while watching clips from Wednesday’s Super Bowl LVIII victory parade in Kansas City, Missouri, where Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — in an apparently incoherent state of drunkenness — made a mockery of himself, his Super Bowl opponents and the very idea of celebration.
Something I’m increasingly sceptical of in modern mental health culture is this constant insistence to open up. Share your story! says every celebrity. Speak out! says every company. Men aren’t opening up enough, says pretty much every mainstream publication. In fact last week in the UK it was #TimeToTalkDay, urging us to be moreopen about mental health and share how we really feel!
My main concern with this is that Gen Z are very lonely and screen-addicted and so often take this advice and start opening up online. All over the internet, my generation are sharing their autism traits,ADHD habits and Tourette’s tics. Plus deeply personal moments: traumatic events, anxiety attacks, and mental breakdowns. On TikTok #mentalhealth has over 127 billion views; #trauma alone has almost 30 billion.
One major problem with opening up online, for example, is that whatever you share inevitably becomes part of your brand. This, I think, can explain a lot of Gen Z’s current obsession with and confusion around identity. We market ourselves from very young ages and then struggle to rebrand, to integrate our evolving selves into our online image. Once you share something on social media—your anxiety, OCD, gender dysphoria—it’s documented. You’re categorised. Consciously or not, you are more compelled to stick with it. But identities evolve! You are supposed to change! I find it so suffocating how modern culture makes us feel like it’s inauthentic or some sort of moral failure to change who you are or what you believe. Nobody can live up to that! And actually the opposite is true: something is very wrong if you aren’t changing.
As I see it this is why older generations often chafe at all this oversharing. Not because they can’t relate to adolescent angst or have no compassion for mental illness, but from an understanding that things, people, change. Maybe you are in real emotional pain. But don’t go blasting your gender identity journey all over the internet because someone told you it’s brave. You might not feel that way in six months, a year, six years. Even if you do, you might not want it out there. You might not even remember that you thought you had Tourette’s in your pre-teens. Also: trends change. There may not be the same cultural cachet for sharing your symptoms in the future. People might not be as rewarding or forgiving, so don’t start relying on their validation now.
This is a caution, then. A plea, actually, to the young girls recording their anxiety attacks, documenting their depressed day in the life, introducing their multiple personalities, posing with their mental health pills, to honestly think about this: what if things change for you? What if when you’re 30 you don’t want that video of you crying on your bedroom floor online? Or cleaning your messy depression room? What if you don’t even relate to that person anymore?
And please, ask yourself: is this going to be good for your recovery? Because despite what the mental health industry would have you believe, your anxiety isn’t fixed or inevitable. You could get over your OCD. But you’ll make that much less likely and harder for yourself by posting it all over the internet and publicly building your identity around it first. Maybe you’re socially anxious at 14 but not at 20, but you made it your brand and showed the internet that you struggle to make a phone call and can’t order food. Maybe you desperately want to be seen as confident but you’ve already marketed yourself as anxious and that’s how people treat you. All I’m saying is you might regret reducing yourself to a collection of symptoms. This world can be cruel and unforgiving, and you might one day regret telling it you can’t cope.
The more things change… and I don’t mean the Chiefs winning again.
Yay! Who doesn’t like setting records?
So we come to Sunday night.
Super Bowl 58 had been a snooze – fumbles, punts, more fumbles, it reminded me of nothing so much as a Jets game – but it was just getting good.
Then it went to commercial: a library… a portrait of Isaac Newton… an anatomy textbook…
Huh, I thought. This is weird –
Hey, wait, isn’t that a portrait of Karl Christian Friedrich “Charles” Pfizer – 19th century German-born chemist, founder of the company that bears his name?
Super Bowl spots this year cost a cool $7 million for 30 seconds (arguably a bargain, given that the biggest audience since the moon landing watched Sunday’s game). This ad ran a full minute, so $14 million. Plus production and licensing costs.
And, again, the ad doesn’t mention any specific products, except penicillin, which is not exactly a big Pfizer product these days. The reference to Katalin Kariko flicks at the Covid jabs. But I would guess only 5 to 10 percent of Americans have any idea who she is. Including her is a way to mention the mRNAs without talking about them.
Viewers know about turbo cancer, auto-immunity, the suppression of Ivermectin as the cure to Covid-19 and the damage the jab and mRNA causes. Those in the know hammered Pfizer for a public image commercial. Go read and understand that they aren’t fooling anyone except those wanting to be fooled.
Video GrammaFeb 13Could not agree more! I’m convinced that was a major factor to go all out to suppress ivermectin use. Sure getting the EUA was important, but short lived, compared to decades of cancer “treatments”. If there was wide spread ivermectin use, cancer rates & deaths would very noticeably reduce. Can’t have that! Isn’t the oncology racket about a $200 billion annual market now? 😔🤬
Alanna WilgusFeb 13Current cancer treatments are extremely toxic and marginally effective. The worst part is that the protocols bankrupt the patient and family. Meanwhile, they discredit cheap and effective treatments. Pharma and mainstream medicine are pure evil.
AKGFeb 13“Why blow $14 million-plus on what is essentially a generic corporate image campaign?” Because they can. Because our government gave them billions.
A prominent surgeon stated that complications from vaginoplastic surgery that aims at removing male genitals and creating a vagina “can be pretty bad” and noted that there was “a growing number of programs throughout the world of gender affirmation, probably with a lack of training and not proper training,” according to the video of a presentation that the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained through a public records request.
“Complications can be pretty bad for vaginoplasty, and the most-dreaded complication is to perforate the rectum while you are dissecting the vaginal cavity,” Dr. Alex Laungani, a Canadian surgeon, who has “expertise in trans surgical care,” said at an event sponsored by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
Young women’s, senior women’s liberal identity up 11 points since 1999
Middle-aged women have also become more liberal, but less strongly
Men’s ideological views have changed less but are slightly more liberal
While notable on its own, the slight leftward shift over the long term in Americans’ political ideology that Gallup has previously documented is even more significant when reviewing the trend among different age and gender groups. Increased liberalism since the 1990s has occurred much more strongly among women of certain age groups, while men’s views have been steadier.
Gallup’s national figures on Americans’ political ideology show the country remains at center-right, with more people identifying as conservative (36%) than liberal (25%) and the rest saying they are moderate (36%). However, the “liberal” percentage has inched up over the past three decades and is currently one percentage point shy of its all-time high. This has occurred as the “moderate” group has shrunk, while the “conservative” percentage has varied narrowly around the long-term average, near 38%.
and most don’t realize that they are being used as political footballs. I blame the education system and the media. They are the politicians institutions of indoctrination rather than informing the public of the truth and then let them decide.
You’d think the Ghostbusters reboot loser, or maybe rewriting Star Wars to take out the real hero’s and substitute girls in the same exact role would have been a hint.
But no, we have the female Spiderman movie, Madame Web. As soon as I saw the trailer, I knew this was going to be bad, and it didn’t disappoint.
Who knew superhero fare could sink as low as “Madame Web?”
This obscure, Spider-related heroine yields a terrible origin film, the kind with so many flaws it’s hard to point in just one direction.
The film’s future isn’t bright, but it could be reborn as a camp classic. That’s not what Hollywood’s once-mighty genre needs at this moment.
“Madame Web” starts poorly and never finds its footing. The opening scenes induce unintentional laughter, and it won’t be the only guffaws echoing in the theater.
Johnson remains an endearing on-screen presence, but she lacks the charisma a genre film demands. That’s still superior to her nemesis. Rahim delivers one of the worst performances in a superhero film … ever.
It’s that relentlessly bad.
Blame director S.J. Clarkson, who never gets a proper handle on the material and clearly could have coaxed better line readings from Rahim and co. In her defense, she’s forced to work with a script she penned alongside three collaborators.
This script might have passed muster for an “Afterschool Special” of yore, but for a film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s soul crushing.
They continue to try and force this woke nonsense on us and the movie goers continue to stay away.
It’s not that tough. There is one Spiderman. He’s a guy and a teenager. We know the story. It’s the same for the rest of the superhero’s.
The audience is a bunch of geeks in their basement on their computer that go to conventions (over generalizing here, but it’s who obsesses over it). They are mostly white and guys.
The hero’s are men. Girls kick ass in a movie, but as soon as real life comes around, we see the result and it isn’t the movies. Look at all the 2nd rate trannies in girls sports dominating the top females.
A professor at Laurier University, Ontario is advocating for a lengthening of the LGBTQ acronym to include two-spirit individuals and others, by changing it to MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+.
Dr. Percy Lezard, the co-ordinator of the Indigenous Studies program and a self-identified two-spirit, trans, disabled scholar who uses “they/them/theirs” pronouns, argued that the change was long overdue.
You can’t turn on your phone, start an EV or use most connected devices without them, yet we still are beholden to China or the slave labor children who dig it up.
Politicians will have to “approve” the go ahead to mine them and save us a lot of supply chain problems and lower costs to the middle class, the current group being rogered by Congress.
The biggest hurdle is that China’s domination is in place as a lot of politicians are on the Chinese payroll and won’t approve the things best for the American people.
As you go to the election booth this year, watch and see if they help you, or help themselves to another serving of lobbyist money courtesy of China.
Now I have some good news to share. Our country could soon surpass China as the world leader in rare earth minerals after more than 2.34 billion metric tons were discovered in Wyoming.
American Rare Earths Inc announced that the reserves near Wheatland dramatically surpass the Asian nation’s 44 million metric tons, saying it ‘exceeded our wildest dreams’ after drilling only about 25 percent of the property.
The company has a stake in 367 mining claims across 6,320 acres of land in the Halleck Creek Project, along with four Wyoming mineral leases on 1,844 acres on the same project now called Cowboy State Mine.
The types of minerals at the site are used in smartphones, hybrid car motors and military technologies – among others.
Since China’s extraction ban, one company, American Rare Earths, has been working hard to expand our nation’s access options. It appears they may have struck the mother lode.
American Rare Earths Inc. has its sights on thousands of acres of land near Wheatland, Wyoming. The company disclosed in a technical report on Wednesday that it found 64% more rare earth minerals than it had originally envisioned in a March 2023 assessment of the land.
The newly disclosed figure of 2.34 billion metric tons of rare earth minerals found southwest of Wheatland by American Rare Earths Inc. could dwarf in size the 1.2 million metric ton estimates in northeastern Wyoming that one of its competitors claimed was one of the biggest discoveries in the world.
A metric ton equals about 2,200 pounds while a ton is 2,000 pounds.
“This exceeded our wildest dreams, and we only drilled on about 25% of the property,” said Donald Swartz, CEO of American Rare Earths.
The company is the U.S.-based unit of an Australian-founded exploration company working in Wyoming.
Another company is also working on another potentially rich site for these valuable minerals.
Ramaco Resources revealed it had found a deposit of rare minerals near Sheridan in Wyoming, that could have a value of $37 billion.
Ramaco Resources CEO Randall Atkins told Cowboy State Daily: “We only tested it for 100, 200 feet, which is about the maximum you’d ever want to do a conventional coal mine.
I can only hope we will eventually have politicians and policy implementers that permit us to develop these valuable resources.
William “Bill” Post — the man who created the beloved toaster treat Pop-Tarts — died on Saturday, his family announced. He was 96.
Post, a Michigan native and son of immigrants who worked his way up from a truck washer to a senior vice president, brightened millions of Americans’ mornings with the sweet pastry that hit the shelves in 1964.
The great-grandfather is often credited with inventing the breakfast treat, though he would always say it was a team effort, according to his obituary.
Post was raised in Grand Rapids as one of seven children of Dutch immigrants. He married his high school sweetheart, Florence Schut, and served in the Army Air Corps in occupied Japan.
I ate them, but it wasn’t the staple it was for my kids. Knowing what I know now about diets, I’d have never given them to the kids, but when you are working on a couple of hours of sleep and you’ll do anything to get food in your kids before school…..pop tarts.
In grade school, we made bags for all the kids to put in a Valentines card for everybody in class. It was before we were old enough to have gf/bf and before the woke ruined everything it touched because some kid didn’t get one.
We’d get a pack of 30 of these at the five and dime and then sign your name on them and put one in the bags.
As I look back on this, I have no idea if I got one from every kid or not. I never checked. I bet every girl made sure they got one though. The girls understood social stuff way before the guys did.
I recall it being a tedious task because just like now, I didn’t really care that much about others socially. I knew they weren’t really all my friends, and this would prove to be true in life as I went to school with these kids as much as 21 year for some (kindergarten through college).
Puberty hadn’t set in and we (they) hadn’t started imposing the caste system of have’s and have not’s on kids based on looks, sports ability or general group hate. Kids are mean.
Fortunately, I kept to myself and stayed on the sidelines on this, but I knew then what I know now. That is the life of an introvert. As soon as the bags were opened and you looked at the cards, no one cared anymore. I saw this in advance. It’s why I had no clue whether to see if I got one from everyone, or even to check.
It’s why now if I give a gift, I meant it. Conversely, if you didn’t get one, I meant that also. I could never really deny my feelings to fit in. I just didn’t want to and knew it wasn’t worth it.
As soon as we didn’t make the bags, I didn’t give the card.
As I grew older though, my girlfriends all got good gifts from me while they were around. On the other hand, I don’t recall ever getting a good VD gift. Not even VD on VD.
But as an unmarried woman in my 30s, I also realize there’s no quick fix to this situation—and that married Americans are often unaware of how bleak the current dating landscape can be. Ultimately, if we’re going to have more healthy marriages, we need to change our dating culture.
Take this new lawsuit, which highlights just how insane the current dating world is.
The plaintiff, Nikko D’Ambrosio, alleges he was defamed in a private Chicago Facebook group for women, called “Are We Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook groups with this name began sprouting up in 2022, allowing thousands of women to swap information—rarely of the flattering variety—about local single men.
Although this seems like a recipe for idle gossip, it was also a way for women to warn other women of the bad behavior of particular local men so they could avoid them.
D’Ambrosio says he was defamed in the Chicago Facebook group, but was unable to join it to defend himself or get the moderators to remove the posts about him. In one post mentioned in his lawsuit, a woman wrote: “Very clingy very fast. Flaunted money very awkwardly and kept talking about how I don’t want to see his bad side, especially when he was on business calls.”
Another woman wrote: “I went out with him a few times just over a year ago—he told me what I wanted to hear until I slept with him and then he ghosted … I’d steer clear.” (The term “ghosted” refers to when a romantic interest stops responding to all forms of communication without announcing a breakup or an end of contact.)
A bunch of girls getting together to trash men online because they didn’t get what they wanted. I’ve got news for you, you never really get all that you want.
Anytime I didn’t contact a girl back, it was because there were too many red flags and she practically drove me away. It was never a pump and dump. We didn’t hit it off and I saved both of us a lot of wasted time. Sometimes I read the body language and it was her that said we were done. I can take a hint.
The part about social media ruining people’s lives is right though. It sets up false expectations that are never met, then gives you a place to gripe in public and tear down others at the same time.
When I had foot surgery, we had to leave the seat up for 6 weeks in my house. It turned out that it wasn’t the problem that was purported for decades. I observed it silently.
Harvard requires all students who will be on campus to have some protection from COVID-19 through vaccination. This may be through the initial primary series of COVID-19 vaccination or one of the most recent COVID-19 boosters. Vaccines must be FDA- or WHO-approved vaccines. As we work to continue the high levels of vaccination needed to protect our community, Harvard highly recommends being up-to-date per the CDC definition for all Harvard community members, including faculty, students, staff, and researchers, who will have any on-campus presence.
Wow, the whole world knows now that the only thing the jab is good for is controlling the sheep who comply. Who would want to hire someone like that out of college?
Since the beginning of time, girls invent childish shit tests to see what they can make you do to prove your love. Once you are not willing to do stupid stuff and are confident in yourself, you can have an actually good relationship. It happens when you kick these types of girls to the curb immediately. It will save you a lot of time, trouble and social media BS. Once you realize that they can’t hold their nookie over your head, you can then be adults about it as girls have no other leverage. As I told one ex when kicking her out, there is no golden pussy.
These are invented by assholes on Tik Tok to poison girls into thinking this is love. It is much deeper than this type of relationship control, but nevertheless…….
Here goes:
Would You Dump Someone If They Didn’t Peel An Orange
Like one of those secretly mordant fairy tales about mermaids sacrificing their fins or maidens poisoned and sleeping forever, there is apparently a new test to tell if love is true: fetch and denude me an orange.
The gist: If your partner strips the rind off the citrus and serves it to you with kindness, then their love is for real. If your partner refuses, then this love is hollow and false, and you must now make a deal with a sea witch or reenter the dating pool. This deeply unscientific experiment, known colloquially as the orange peel theory/test/trend, is usually administered by heterosexual women on their male partners. And because of its simplicity and clarity, and social media’s penchant for anything that creates a reaction, the test has gone viral on TikTok.
Some videos of men peeling or not peeling oranges for their partners have millions of views. Millions!
Does separating citrus from its skin really indicate true love? What happened to building the Taj Mahal or, you know, buying some diamonds? Should women carry a mandarin around at all times just to be sure?
“An entire intimate relationship can’t be boiled down to what a partner does or doesn’t do with an orange,” says Alexandra Solomon, a psychologist and author who teaches at Northwestern University and specializes in relationships. As Solomon explains, one does not need to throw a romantic partner away like an orange rind because they did not peel a fruit in a pleasant way.
What TikTok’s ‘Ketchup Challenge’ Actually Says About Your Relationship
At first glance, the viral social media trend known as the “ketchup challenge” may sound like TikTok’s latest household hack, involving cleaning with the common condiment. And while cleaning is (kind of) part of it, the actual aim appears to be secretly testing a romantic partner.
Similar to the “orange peel theory,” the ketchup challenge is being used as a relationship test of sorts, in which one person (usually a woman) intentionally squirts some ketchup on the kitchen counter or a table, then asks their partner (usually a man) to clean it up. Naturally, the whole thing is captured on video and posted to TikTok or Instagram, where commenters are able to weigh in on the man’s ability—or lack thereof—to effectively clean a simple mess, rather than smearing it around, making it worse.
Clearly, this is about much more than ketchup, but out of all the relationship “challenges” floating around online, what about this one has struck a nerve? Two clinical psychologists specializing in relationships explain.
Oh, and by the way, Happy Valentines Day tomorrow. Don’t fall for these and if you get this from your girl, you’re better off dumping her rather than suffering a minute longer with a child who resorts to this low level of immaturity. She reads too much social media online, another red flag for you
It’s just another indication that social media ruins a lot of what it touches and the most vulnerable fall for it first.
In no real surprise, the divisive song that doesn’t represent our country got a very tepid response. The woke NFL keeps trying to force this crap on us and the fans weren’t having it.
I practically had a fight with my wife because I wouldn’t listen to it. I said we have a National Anthem that represents the entire country and not a racially charged song that divides the country. I put it on pause and then fast forwarded to Reba, who did a great job on the Star Spangled Banner.
Hopefully, this lack of a response will kill this crap and get everyone behind our country instead of trying to divide us. Fuck you NFL.
The national anthem at NFL games continues to cause division, including Sunday night’s Super Bowl, where the playing of the unofficial black national anthem wasn’t enough for a Democrat congressman.
“Very very few stood at Super Bowl for ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’ – the Negro National Anthem,” Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., wrote on X on Sunday. “Not a pretty picture of Super Bowl crowd.”
“The so-called Black National Anthem does not belong at the Super Bowl,” television personality Megyn Kelly posted on X. “We already have a National Anthem and it includes EVERYONE.”
Chris Jones, clearly a black man sheds a tear during the National Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner.
