If women want their husbands to listen to them, they need to stop talking to everything. 90% of the time she is talking, it is to the dog, the plants, someone on the phone, speech to text, or the universe at large. I’ve tried paying attention, and it is a colossal waste of time and brain energy.

I’m with you. I just answer Oh or good to everything. If I get asked are you listening, I say no just to stop it, even on the off chance I heard it.
