If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?

If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?

Nowhere.

Travel is such a piece of crap anymore (Crowdstrike anyone) that I’d prefer not to travel by air.

Let’s see, TSA hassle, waiting in lines to be in a tube with a bunch of people I’d never choose to be with, being a mule that has to haul around your life in a box while you are gone, no. Then going to places that I don’t really want to go to (or I would have) while having to live out of a suitcase.

On top of that, Boeing just paid mega millions for building faulty airplanes so I don’t trust them either (DEI anyone?).

Even if you had the total first-class package, the flight part is over relatively quickly and you are stuck somewhere until you can get home. You still have to wait in the airports and if there is a delay, you are as screwed as everyone else

This is like the travel question a few days ago. Get a nice summer house and enjoy a relaxing time

  1. I’ll tell you something. If you travel a lot you would be very surprised how quickly NetJets or Private Jet fractional ownership becomes affordable. I’ve traveled by private jet in my past corporate life and the whole advantage is just going around all the airport hassle. The problem is that once you experience it you realize how bad airline travel is. And, since I had an Aircraft Mechanic License from a previous life, the company flight crew trusted me to shut the door behind me when I got on so we could take off right then. As far as the question you actually asked – I’d give those free tickets to someone I hate.

  2. I do not like to fly and only do so in rare circumstances. I much prefer traveling by my private auto. Long travel times are bad, but if the world goes to shit you at least have some mode of transportation. My granddaughter and her husband who is on leave are flying home and their flight is delayed. So now we do not know when they will get here. Ughh.
